Pick up the Apple Watch Series 10 while it’s on sale for $100 off

by admin June 4, 2025

Summer is almost here for those of us in the northern hemisphere, which means that you might be getting more active outdoors. One way to keep track of all your workouts en plein air is with the Apple Watch Series 10. The smartwatch is back on sale for $299, which is $100 off the regular price. It also matches a record low.

There are a few variants on sale for this price at Amazon, but they all have a 42mm case and are GPS models with no LTE connectivity. If you’d rather have the larger 46mm case, several Apple Watch Series 10 configurations with that are also $100 off at $329.

Apple

Our pick for the best smartwatch overall on the market is back on sale, as the Apple Watch Series 10 is 25 percent off.

$299 at Amazon

Not only is the Apple Watch Series 10 a darn good fitness (and wellness) tracker, it’s our pick for the best smartwatch overall. Android wielders need not apply, unfortunately, since you need a paired iPhone to set up and use any Apple Watch. If you’re not looking for one for yourself, the Apple Watch Series 10 would also make for a great Father’s Day gift.

We gave this smartwatch a score of 90 in our review. It’s a fairly iterative update, so if you already have an Apple Watch Series 8 or 9 already, it might not be worth upgrading. At least in the US, the blood oxygen feature that was available in previous versions isn’t present in the Apple Watch Series 10 following a patent dispute. Some of the Apple Watch Series 10’s major features are found in other models too — the sleep apnea detection function is also available on the Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2.

However, if you’re looking for your first Apple Watch or upgrading from a Series 7 or earlier, the Series 10 is probably the best way to go. It has a larger screen than its predecessors, so it’ll be easier to see notifications and such. The thinner frame looks rather fetching, too. If you’re eager for an even more affordable option, the Apple Watch SE is also on sale right now for $169.

Best cheap Apple Watch deals June 2025

by admin June 4, 2025

In September, Apple launched its latest smartwatch, introducing the Apple Watch Series 10 alongside a black rendition of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Each wearable has its own pros and cons, as does the second-gen Apple Watch SE, but the introduction of Apple’s newest wearables also means there are now more Apple Watch models on the market than ever before — and a lot more deals to be had.

But with all of those options, which one should you pick? Generally speaking, you want to buy the newest watch you can afford so that it continues to receive software updates from Apple. The latest update, watchOS 11, launched in September on the Series 6 and newer models, ultimately leaving those still using an older Series 4 or 5 behind.

That being said, picking up a watch from the latest (or a recent) generation ensures you’re getting a smartwatch with an updated design, a robust number of features, and plenty of sensors.

Now, let’s get to the deals.

The best Apple Watch Series 10 deals

The Apple Watch Series 10 represents the latest wearable in Apple’s flagship Series lineup. It features the new S10 SiP chip, faster charging, and a wide-angle OLED display that’s brighter, larger, and easier to read than that of previous models. It weighs half as much as the Ultra, too, and is about 30 percent thinner despite its new 42mm and 46mm sizing. Other upgrades include an added depth and water temperature sensor, as well as a new FDA-cleared sleep apnea detection feature, the latter of which is also available on the last-gen Series 9 and Ultra 2.

While the improvements are welcome, the Series 10 isn’t a vast departure from the prior model, the Series 9. That said, it’s currently on sale at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy right now in the 42mm sizing with GPS starting at $299 ($10 off), which remains its lowest price to date. The 46mm variant, meanwhile, is on sale at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy starting at $329 ($100 off) — which is the second-best price we’ve seen on the larger configuration — while the LTE models can be had at Amazon and Walmart starting at $389 ($110 off).

Read our Apple Watch Series 10 review.

The best Apple Watch SE deals

The Apple Watch SE received a refresh in late 2022. It has the same chipset as the Series 8, which is great, but with fewer sensors, no always-on display, and a slightly outdated design compared to the Series 8, 9, and 10. Those omissions might take this out of the running for some people, but it still may be exactly what you’re after. Best of all, it starts at $249 for the 40mm Wi-Fi / GPS model, which is $30 less than the previous generation’s baseline cost. Opting for cellular connectivity increases the starting price to $299 for the 40mm size (the 44mm size adds $20 to each configuration).

Right now, the best deal on the latest SE can be found at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy, where you can pick the 40mm model with GPS for $169 ($80 off). The 44mm / GPS configuration, meanwhile, is available at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy for $219 (also $80 off). If you want the LTE configuration, the 40mm model is on sale at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy starting at $219 ($80 off), which nearly matches the lowest price we’ve seen on the entry-level LTE configuration.

Read our Apple Watch SE (second-gen) review.

The best Apple Watch Ultra 2 deals

The latest Apple Watch Ultra launched at $799 in September with GPS and LTE support, much like the original model. The ultra-capable smartwatch has the most features, sensors, and ruggedness of any Apple Watch model available thus far, along with a display that’s 50 percent brighter than the first Ultra. The 49mm smartwatch also packs Apple’s S9 SiP and second-gen ultra wideband chips, just like the Apple Watch Series 9, while maintaining long-lasting battery life, precise GPS tracking, and a bevy of diving-friendly sensors.

In recent months, we saw the Apple Watch Ultra 2 dip to as low as $642 ($157 off) in select configurations. Right now, however, it’s only on sale at Amazon with a Trail Loop or an Ocean Band starting at $734.89 (about $64 off) or with an Alpine Loop starting at $741.89 (about $57 off). You can also pick it up at Best Buy and Target in various configurations, though only for its full retail price of $799.

Read our Apple Watch Ultra 2 review.

A note on the more premium models

While all of the Apple Watch models and colorways covered here are encased in aluminum (except the Ultra 2, which has a titanium build), Apple does make a more premium range built out of stainless steel and titanium. These offerings are functionally and aesthetically similar to their aluminum counterparts, with slightly refined colors and finishings — polished for the stainless steel and brushed for the titanium. However, they start at much steeper prices of $699 and above. They, too, can often be found on sale, but they’re never discounted as low as the standard base models, so we don’t include them here.

How to watch Sony’s PlayStation State of Play at Summer Game Fest

by admin June 4, 2025

Summer Game Fest week just got even busier. Sony is throwing its own party on Wednesday, June 4 at 5PM ET in the form of a State of Play. The stream will showcase “must-play” PS5 games from developers based around the world and you can watch it on on YouTube or Twitch. To make things even easier, you can watch it right here by clicking the big red button above when the time is right. (English subtitled and Japanese versions of the State of Play will be available too.)

The State of Play will run for over 40 minutes, so there should be a bunch of games included. Sony hasn’t given any hints as to what it will show off as yet, but it’ll surely be worth checking out the stream. Wednesday’s event will be Sony’s third State of Play of the year. The first was in February, which included the reveal of the very tasty-sounding Soros from Returnal studio Housemarque, a PS5 remaster of Days Gone and a release date for Borderlands 4. In April, the company hosted a brief State of Play entirely focused on Borderlands 4 where it showed off gameplay and some new multiplayer mechanics.

With this State of Play, Sony is padding out a packed SGF schedule that includes what is routinely Xbox’s biggest showcase of the year on Sunday, June 8. And then there’s also the little matter of the Nintendo Switch 2’s arrival on June 5. It’s shaping up to be a fun, if very busy, week.

Amazon Needs to Clear Galaxy Watch Ultra Stock Fast, Now 40% Off at a New Record Low

by admin June 3, 2025

When it comes to Android smartwatches, Samsung stands in a league of its own: The Galaxy Watch Ultra sits at the very top of the brand’s lineup and offers a level of performance and design that no other Android manufacturer can match. The only competition is from Apple’s own high-end watches, so the Galaxy Watch Ultra is the clear choice for somebody wanting the premier wearable experience on Android.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to upgrade your wrist game, now is the moment: Amazon has just launched a wave of deals across the entire Samsung ecosystem, from smartphones and earbuds to tablets and, of course, the Galaxy Watch Ultra. You can now get a Galaxy Watch Ultra 47mm LTE bundle with a 25W super fast charger for just $411 on Amazon, $258 off the usual $669 price. You can also buy the smartwatch alone for $399, down from $649 (40% off).

Style And Performance

Its tough titanium shell is built to withstand everything from intense training sessions to the rough and tumble of everyday life including rain, dust, and the odd bump. The 47mm diameter gives you a large and vibrant display that’s easy to read in any light while LTE connectivity means you can leave your phone at home but still stay connected, stream music, receive calls, and receive notifications right from your wrist.

What really sets the Galaxy Watch Ultra apart is the inclusion of Galaxy AI: This is more than just a fitness tracker and it’s an actual smart companion. The watch uses AI to monitor your runs and cycling and compares each session to your previous performances so that you can see your progress in real-time. It gives you an Energy Score from your sleep, heart rate and daily steps and it gives you a clear picture of your overall wellness and readiness for the day. With personalized wellness recommendations, you’ll be making more informed choices and fulfilling your full potential in no time.

The included 25W super fast charger is a great bonus (if you go for the bundle) and it ensures your watch and other compatible devices are always powered up and ready to go. With Samsung’s efficient charging technology, you’ll spend less time plugged in and more time enjoying everything your watch can do. The Galaxy Watch Ultra also features comprehensive health tracking, including heart rate monitoring, sleep analysis, stress management, and built-in GPS for accurate workout tracking.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is the best Android smartwatch available, the time to make the switch has never been better.

PlayStation State of Play June 2025 date and time

PlayStation State of Play will take place on Wednesday, June 4.

The event will go live at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 11pm CEST. For other time zones, here’s when you can catch the event live:

  • 10pm (BST)
  • 2:30am IST (June 5)
  • 6am JST (June 5)
  • 9am NZST (June 5)

How to watch PlayStation State of Play June 2025

To watch the State of Play June 2025 live, you have to tune in to PlayStation’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, as the show will be livestreamed on these two platforms.

How long will the show last?

PlayStation has confirmed that June’s State of Play will be a “40+ minute” show. It could very well last for an hour and give us updates on some of the biggest games coming to PS5 and PS5 Pro down the line.

Do we know what will be announced at State of Play in June 2025?

At the time of writing, PlayStation hasn’t confirmed what they are planning to announce or show at the State of Play on June 4.

However, if we have to speculate, we might finally get to see some gameplay footage from the Wolverine game they are working on. Since Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Ghost of Yotei are releasing this year, we could get to see new trailers and details about their gameplay and lore.

Once the show gets aired, Summer Games Fest 2025 is next in line. If State of Play isn’t enough for you, the annual game show on June 6 will feature a ton of games, where Hideo Kojima will be one of the guests.

How to watch the Death Star Sabotage live event in Fortnite

by admin June 3, 2025

Fortnite’s Star Wars season is ending with the Death Star Sabotage live event, and it’s going to be a showdown against Emperor Palpatine’s Star Destroyers. You will be joining the other characters to save the island from getting destroyed, just the regular drill for the loopers.

When can you watch the Death Star Sabotage live event in Fortnite

The Death Star Sabotage live event in Fortnite starts on June 7 at 1pm CT, and you can watch it live by joining the game. Once you’re in the game, you can make your way to the discovery section and join the experience before the event starts to avoid getting in at the last second and accidentally getting kicked out of the live event.

Once you’re inside the lobby, you can fly an X-wing or Imperial TIE fighter while you get ready for the event to begin. As the countdown reaches zero, the Death Star Sabotage live show should start, where it’s time to get organized. According to the intel, the Death Star will be most susceptible to attack during this attack, and you need to bring down the Empire to save the day.

You don’t necessarily need to attend the live event to get these free rewards, as you can also just log in to the game after the event concludes, and you should get the free items in your inventory.

Bitcoin traders anticipate decline, watch $100K

Bitcoin traders anticipate decline, watch $100K

by admin June 3, 2025

Key takeaways:

  • Bitcoin price consolidates around $105,000 as liquidity builds up on either side of the spot price.

  • After failing to flip $106,000, BTC/USD is retracing to establish support, but $100,000 is a key level of interest for Bitcoin traders.

Bitcoin’s (BTC) price trades 6% below its all-time highs of $111,900, and traders warn the asset may see a “larger correction” in June as $100,000 becomes a key level of interest.

Bitcoin price key support remains $100K

In a repeat of the move that followed its rise above $100,000 on May 8, Bitcoin has successfully held above this level for more than three weeks.

This is the critical point on traders’ radars and one that has not received a convincing retest recently.

MN Capital founder Michael van de Poppe spotted Bitcoin hovering at $104,300 saying that after being rejected from the $106,000 level, BTC may drop lower before regaining upward momentum.

An accompanying chart showed $100,000 was the key level to watch on BTC’s four-hour timeframe.

“Clear rejection on #Bitcoin implying that we’re going to see lower prices before we see upwards momentum.”BTC/USD four-hour chart. Michael van de Poppe

Pseudonymous analyst CrypNuevo shared a chart showing that Bitcoin failed to flip the resistance at $106,000 into support.

“So we could likely head to $100K psychological level + 150EMA.”

Meanwhile, popular analyst AlphaBTC projected a deeper correction that could see BTC price drop as low as $90,000, if the support at $100,000 is lost.

“$BTC is likely to go sideways for some time as this larger correction plays out in the first weeks of June, waiting for more hard data and the FOMC on June 18.”BTC/USD four-hour chart. Source: AlphaBTC

As reported by Cointelegraph, BTC price action could preserve $100,000 as support based on Glassnode’s market value realized value (MVRV) bands.

Liquidations waiting at $100K and below

Several traders eyed a potential downside liquidity grab with bid orders thickening below the spot price, and others clustering below $100,000.

“$100K is a strong psychological level and liquidity tends to stack in these levels,” said CrypNuevo in a separate post on X.

The latest data from monitoring resource CoinGlass showed price eating away at bids around $105,000, with the bulk of interest clustered between the spot price and $100,000.

High bid orders were also building up below $100,000, with $170 million worth of liquidity sitting around $93,200.

On the upside, the $112,500-$113,500 cluster was the main liquidity area.

“There is significant liquidity in both directions, with a more concentrated build up below the lows of the last few days,” AlphaBTC said on X.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if $BTC ran the lows and then rallied back up to take what’s left above.”

Best Garmin Watch (2025): Tested and Reviewed for Running, Cycling, and More

by admin June 2, 2025

For several years Garmin would release an annual update to its do-everything Fenix line and also to its Epix line which was, effectively, just a Fenix with an AMOLED screen. Well, Garmin finally decided to consolidate, and the Fenix is now the one line to rule them all. And I mean that, because it is very literally the best watch I’ve ever worn, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Not only can you now choose between a bright and colorful AMOLED screen or a solar-charging display with mind-boggling battery life, but there are some new features that make the latest Fenix even more versatile.

For starters, the Fenix 8 has cribbed the depth sensor from its Descent line, which means this everyday watch now works as a full-on dive computer for recreational scuba as well as free diving. The watch also now features a microphone and a speaker. This allows you to make some basic voice commands (start an activity, change modes, set a timer, open stopwatch, etc), record voice notes, and even answer a phone call—which I did a couple of times while showering. (There’s still no cellular connectivity, though, which is a bummer.) It also has a built-in LED flashlight (three levels of white and one red for maintaining night vision), which I ended up using all the time. It also has built-in topographic maps, 24/7 health monitoring, 15-plus-day battery life, and tracking for over a hundred different activities.

The Fenix 8 comes in 43-mm, 47-mm, and 51-mm sizes and is available in both AMOLED and solar screen options. Personally, I think AMOLED is the way to go because it looks so good, and charging it once every two weeks isn’t a big deal, but if you’re going to be doing some month-long treks in the hinterlands, the 51-mm Solar edition starts with a full month of battery life (up to 48 days with regular exposure to the sun). It’s expensive, but it’s fantastic. —Brent Rose

How to watch the IOI Showcase at Summer Games Fest 2025

by admin June 2, 2025

Game developer and publisher IO Interactive is participating in Summer Games Fest 2025 with its own showcase. The presentation will take place on Friday, June 6 at 9PM ET/6PM PT. You can watch the IOI Showcase live on multiple platforms: Twitch, YouTube and TikTok. We’ve also got the YouYube stream embedded above, so that you can watch here while keeping up with our coverage of all the other developments happening during this year’s packed Summer Games Fest lineup.

IO Interactive parlayed its work on the excellent Hitman trilogy into a gig making a new James Bond game. Today, the company teased the title, 007 First Light, and it seems like there will be a game reveal during the showcase on Friday. The presentation will also introduce new content for the studio’s Hitman World of Assassination and as well as a game called MindsEye from its publishing branch. “We’ve prepared some truly exciting surprises” for the event, IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak said, so there will probably be additional announcements beyond those three titles.

9 New Movies on Netflix We Can’t Wait to Watch This June

by admin June 2, 2025

Netflix has quite a few new titles in store for fans this month, including some action-packed originals and a new batch of riveting documentaries. Tyler Perry’s latest original for the streamer, Straw, arrives this month and stars Taraji P. Henson as a woman so desperate she’ll do anything to save her sick daughter. For a dose of real-life drama, check out Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy, an in-depth look at the 2021 event that left 10 concertgoers dead in Houston.

A collection of Alfred Hitchcock films — including classics like Vertigo and Rear Window — is among some of the acquired titles arriving in the Netflix library this month, too. (The streamer is also debuting several Hitchcock-inspired films as a part of the collection, including the 2022 film Barbarian and Jordan Peele’s Us.)

If you’re tired of the same old choices, check out which movies — new and old — are coming to Netflix this June.

Read more: The Hottest Movies Coming in 2025

Paramount Pictures

Rear Window and more (June 1)

Among Netflix’s newly acquired library movies this month, you’ll find a large collection of some of Alfred Hitchcock’s most famous films. The new arrivals include The Birds, Vertigo, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Frenzy and the James Stewart-Grace Kelly classic, Rear Window. (That other Hitchcock classic, Psycho, is already available on the platform.) The Hitchcock collection will also include the 2012 narrative feature about the filmmaker himself, called Hitchcock, directed by Sacha Gervasi.

Screenshot by Meara Isenberg/CNET

Writer-director Zach Cregger’s 2022 film Barbarian is a delightfully twisty horror movie about the downsides of short-term rentals. Tess (Georgina Campbell) and Keith (Bill Skarsgard) are two strangers who meet when it turns out they’ve been double-booked on a housing rental site and decide to both stay in their rental house together. But Keith is not the one Tess needs to worry about; soon Tess discovers a labyrinthine basement and something (or someone) living there; that’s when the horror begins. The film comes to Netflix on June 1.

Claudette Barius/Universal Studios

Jordan Peele’s recent career path has veered pretty far from the sketch comedy world he started in, and his 2019 film Us is one of several great psychological thrillers he’s written and directed that pay homage to classics like The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock. Us stars Lupita Nyong’o as Adelaide, a woman whose family is haunted by eerie doppelgängers called the Tethered — identical lookalikes who terrorize them in a chilling quest to steal their souls. The film arrives on Netflix June 1.

Netflix

After a supporting role in Den of Thieves: Pantera, French MMA fighter and actor Cyril Gane is headlining K.O., a Netflix action film that makes use of his extensive martial arts skills. Gane stars as Bastien, a former MMA star who has lived a solitary life after accidentally killing a rival, Enzo, during a fight. When Enzo’s teenage son goes missing, his widow tracks down Bastien to help find the boy whose life is in danger.

Netflix

In Tyler Perry’s newest film, Straw, Taraji P. Henson plays a woman pushed to the brink. Henson stars as Janiyah, a single mother to a sick child who requires medication. When Janiyah is faced with an overwhelming obstacle at the bank while trying to get money for the medicine, she ends up taking everyone in the bank hostage. The turbulent, emotional drama co-stars Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Glynn Turman and Sinbad, and premieres June 6.

Netflix

Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy (June 10)

This month marks the return of Netflix’s Trainwreck documentary franchise, which explores some of the most sensational or disastrous news stories of the recent past. Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy (June 10) is the first film in the new batch, and will dig deep into the tragic Astroworld concert that left 10 fans dead after chaos ensued at Travis Scott’s 2021 performance. Seven more installments of Trainwreck will drop over the summer, one each week through July 29.

Netflix

Our Times is a Mexican sci-fi romantic comedy about a pair of married scientists, Hector and Nora (Benny Ibarra and Lucero), who discover a way to time travel from 1966 to the present day. Once they’re in 2025, Nora thrives in a world more accepting of women in science and she wants to stay, while Hector struggles and wants to return to the past. But can they even find a way back?

Netflix

Titan: The OceanGate Disaster (June 11)

Back in June 2023, the Titan submersible went missing while on a tourist trip to visit the wreckage of the Titanic. Days later, the vessel was found at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean after it imploded during its descent with all five of its passengers on board. Titan: The OceanGate Disaster examines OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush — who was piloting the ill-fated underwater mission — and the lengths he went to in the name of deep-sea exploration.

Netflix

KPop Demon Hunters (June 20)

What if a world-famous KPop girl group were secretly supernatural demon hunters? That’s the premise of KPop Demon Hunters, the new animated feature arriving on Netflix on June 20. The family film from Sony Pictures Animation features the voices of Arden Cho, Joel Kim Booster, Ken Jeong, Ahn Hyo-seop and May Hong.

Warner Bros.

Somehow, up until now, there’s only been one Nancy Meyers film available on Netflix. (The Holiday — you know, the one that stars Jude Law as Mr. Napkin Head.) But that will change when the 2015 comedy The Intern arrives this month. Despite the great cast with Anne Hathaway, Rene Russo and Robert DeNiro, the film doesn’t have the cultural cache of some of Meyers’ other films, but it’s still a super charming affair. DeNiro stars as Ben Whittaker, a retiree who can’t sit still, so he gets a job as an intern at a fashion start-up run by Hathaway’s character, Jules Ostin. Initially dismissive of old-guy Ben, the two form a sweet bond as Ben becomes something of a confidante to his boss. (And yes, Jules has a great kitchen in her Brooklyn brownstone — What, you think she wouldn’t?) The Intern premieres on Netflix June 22.
