Is Little Pepe the next memecoin to watch in 2025?

by admin August 20, 2025

Disclosure: This article does not represent investment advice. The content and materials featured on this page are for educational purposes only.

New memecoins like Little Pepe, alongside ADA, DOGE, HBAR, and LINK, could turn a $1,000 investment into $50,000 by 2025.

Summary

  • LILPEPE stands out with real DeFi utility, low presale price, and massive growth potential.
  • ADA, DOGE, HBAR, and LINK combine strong communities, enterprise use, and blockchain utility.
  • Analysts believe these tokens could outpace leading memecoins and become 2025’s biggest winners.

Memecoins in the cryptocurrency market are rising. The massive gains of the Doge Coin and the Shiba Inu Tokens have topped headlines; however, there are new coins that may promise higher returns.

The five best coins that are likely to get a $1000 investment into a $50,000 investment are Little Pepe (LILPEPE), Cardano, Dogecoin, Hedera, and Chainlink.

1. Little Pepe: The memecoin with real utility

Little Pepe became one of the hottest topics in 2025. One way LILPEPE stands out among other memecoins is that it does not merely generate hype in the community but also has real-life applications. LILPEPE is built on a Layer-2 blockchain that works with Ethereum. It has faster transactions, lower fees, and the ability to grow, making it more than just a meme. It differs from other memecoins on the market because it can be used in decentralized finance (DeFi) apps.

LILPEPE is selling for $0.0020 during its presale phase, making it a good deal for investors. Experts say that LILPEPE could increase by massively by 2025, making it one of the most promising memecoins. If LILPEPE’s price goes up to $1.00, a $1,000 investment could become worth $500,000. LILPEPE has everything it needs to give investors huge returns. It has the extra security of a Certik audit and a growing community.

2. Cardano: A research-driven blockchain with massive potential

Pulling itself out of the realm of memecoins, yet attracting significant attention in the crypto space due to a research-oriented approach to improving its blockchain platform, Cardano (ADA) is a viable product of a different kind.

The market cap of Cardano is less than that of most of the other major blockchain projects, and at present, the price of Cardano is at $0.8830. Analysts think Cardano could reach $10 or more by the end of 2025, making it a great candidate for growth. If ADA exceeds $10, a $1,000 investment could grow to $11,000.

3. Dogecoin: The memecoin with staying power

Dogecoin (DOGE) is the first memecoin. Developed as a joke, DOGE transformed into one of the most well-known cryptocurrencies. Its ardent fandom and celebrity tie-ups with people like Elon Musk have helped Dogecoin become one of the best memecoins. Although Dogecoin is a large-cap cryptocurrency, it has excellent development potential.

DOGE is at $0.2469, and by the end of 2025, it could fall in the range of $1 or higher. With a $1000 investment, an increase of DOGE to $1 would take the investment to $4k. The Dogecoin price might not grow as fast as other smaller memecoins, but its presence in the market and popularity increase its chances of success in the long term.

4. Hedera: A high-speed blockchain with enterprise adoption

A unique blockchain, Hedera (HBAR), with high transaction throughput and extremely low transaction fees, is built on a hashgraph consensus algorithm. Hedera is currently worth $0.2658, but it has significant room for growth. As more businesses use it and industries find new uses, like supply chain management and financial services, HBAR could hit $5 by the end of 2025.

An investment of $1,000 will increase to over $20,000 and beyond, assuming that the price of HBAR soars. Hedera is among the most promising cryptocurrencies of the future since it addresses performance-intensive applications and collaborates with companies.

5. Chainlink: The decentralized Oracle Network

Chainlink (LINK) is a decentralized oracle network that links smart contracts to real-world data. This lets blockchains talk to APIs, payment systems, and other data sources. Chainlink enables blockchains to access reliable data, which opens up numerous applications, including DeFi and supply chain management.

Chainlink is one of the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap and costs $23.86 right now.  Chainlink may seem expensive compared to memecoins, but its usefulness in blockchain makes it a good long-term investment. Analysts say LINK could go up to $100 by the end of 2025, which would mean significant gains.

Conclusion

A combination of factors, like strong community support, real-world use, and upside potential, will likely lead to the next big crypto. In the crowded world of cryptocurrencies, LILPEPE, Cardano, Dogecoin, Hedera, and Chainlink have strengths that make them stand out. If investors want massive returns, spreading investment over these five promising cryptocurrencies, especially LILPEPE, is a good idea.

Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: where to watch and my latest predictions in the build-up to tonight’s event

This is a bit of a weird one, but I have received confirmation that there will be at least one automobile present in the halls at Gamescom 2025.

It’s a special version of the Aston Martin Vantage coupe, with custom artwork based on the Victoria Housekeeping Co. faction from Zenless Zone Zero.

It will be showed off at the game’s booth in Hall 6, booth C-031, where visitors will be able to bask in all of its glory. Those going to the booth will also be able to complete check-in missions, and win prizes including a special 1:18 scale model of the Aston Martin car.

You can find full details on the competition via the X / Twitter post below.

Last year Hoyoverse had a huge booth in the public area, and I expect Gamescom 2025 to be no different.

The brand’s presence at the trade show also suggests that there will be some interesting announcements during the Opening Night Live show, potentially new seasonal content for games Zenless Zone Zero or Genshin Impact.

Our agents on the ground have arrived

I might be stuck behind a computer screen this year, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have some agents on the ground right now.

My colleagues Rhys and Rob reached Cologne, Germany, this morning and are currently scouting things out and attending a few early appointments ahead of Opening Night Live.

They tell me it’s quite quiet over there at the moment, as I’m sure you can imagine, but I’m expecting all of that to change as the show nears.

Expect a Lords of the Fallen 2 reveal

It looks like Lords of the Fallen 2 will be revealed later tonight, following a fairly transparent teaser posted by the official Lords of the Fallen X / Twitter account.

The image, which shows part of a character in gothic armor, features the word “tonight” with the letter “i” replaced by the Roman numeral for two.

I was a fan of the latest Lords of the Fallen game, which released back in 2023. In fact, I did a expansive cover feature with a multiple-page preview of the title back when I worked on the UK’s PlayStation Magazine, so it’s a series that’s pretty close to my heart

Despite the name, Lords of the Fallen 2 would actually be the third Lords of the Fallen game. That’s because of 2014’s Lords of the Fallen, which is not to be confused with its 2023 successor.

We’re in for a live music performance

Geoff Keighley has confirmed that we will be in some music tonight.

It will be the first ever live performance of music from the popular RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from composers Alice Duport-Percier and Lorien Testard.

Exactly which songs will be performed is currently up in the air, but lovers of the game definitely won’t want to miss this…

Is Hollow Knight: Silksong news on the cards?

Hollow Knight: Silksong is easily one of the most anticipated games right now. A sequel to the 2017 indie hit, fans have been waiting for more news about this upcoming instalment for more than six years.

Could we hear more about it tonight? It’s definitely likely, as presenter Geoff Keighley has been teasing something Silksong related.

Yesterday, he posted a photo of himself wearing a clown nose to his X / Twitter account, captioned “First time? See you tomorrow for Gamescom ONL.” It might not seem like much, but it’s a reference popular meme featuring the protagonist of Hollow Knight wearing a similar clown costume.

First time? 🤡 See you tomorrow for @gamescom ONL. pic.twitter.com/59ef5sFysJAugust 18, 2025

He actually posted the original meme last year, alongside clarification that there would be “no Silksong“, so this seems like an intentional call-back.

Hopefully we’re in for some kind of exciting update regarding the game tonight.

ICYMI: the latest Nintendo Direct is underway

Kirby Air Riders Direct – 19/08/2025 – YouTube

Watch On

It’s not technically part of Gamescom, but the timing of this latest Nintendo Direct is definitely deliberate and likely an attempt by Nintendo to squeeze in their own short presentation before attention shifts to the big Opening Night Live show.

The Direct is focused on the upcoming racing game Kirby Air Riders, and is our first real look at the title since its announcement back the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct earlier this year.

The broadcast is currently live right now, so you can tune in if you’re interested in learning all about it.

Good afternoon gamers!

This is the very start of my Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 coverage. If you’re just tuning in, then don’t worry – you haven’t missed anything yet!

With the show set to take this evening, I’ll be walking you through the build up, sharing the latest news as it happens, and a few of my own personal predictions then bringing you a steady stream of announcements once the broadcast begins.

Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: Start Time, How To Watch, And What To Expect

by admin August 19, 2025

The fall gaming season is fast approaching, and there are still plenty of unknowns when it comes to how that season will take shape. Some of those questions may soon be answered, as Gamescom Opening Night Live, the annual showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley, is upon us.

Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 will kick off from Hall 1 of the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany on August 19 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. Multiple games have already been teased for an appearance at the show, including three heavy hitters from Xbox–with one of those being the first gameplay reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

Co-hosting duties will once again be fulfilled by Eefje “sjokz” Depoortere.

How To Watch Silksong, Fallout Season 2, And More

by admin August 19, 2025

Everyone is waiting for Hollow Knight: Silksong to come out. It’s the most wishlisted game on Steam. You can’t watch a new gaming showcase these days without the chat being flooded with stuff like “Show Silksong? Where is Silksong? Silksong when?” Due out before the end of 2025, time is running out for a release date announcement or even a same-day shadow-drop. With Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live just around the corner, could this finally be the moment of truth? Host Geoff Keighley is certainly acting like it.

Gaming’s veteran hype man has been sharing images of Gamescom ONL prep, including one of him in front of a mirror wearing a clown nose. It’s a clear wink to the Silksong fanart clown makeup meme about perpetual disappointment. The trend started years ago when developer Team Cherry was MIA, but hit a new fever pitch after Xbox claimed Silksong would arrive in 2022, only for it to never come out. Many gaming showcases have come and gone since, with the Metroidvanaia Soulslike only ever appearing briefly as part of a sizzle reel here and there.

First time? 🤡

See you tomorrow for @gamescom ONL. pic.twitter.com/59ef5sFysJ

— Geoff Keighley (@geoffkeighley) August 18, 2025

Keighley is either tipping his hand that big Silksong news is just around the corner or paving the way for the biggest collective letdown ever. Since the game will be playable at multiple booths on the Gamescom show floor, my money’s on the former. It’s coming to Switch but has also been promised to be available day-one on the Xbox Ally PC gaming handheld, rumored to release in October. Plus, the soundtrack was just added to the backend of GOG.

Keighley’s showcase will take place on August 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. ET. It will run approximately two hours with a pre-show that starts at 1:30 p.m. ET. You can stream it live on both YouTube and Twitch. The event tends to have new game announcements sprinkled in with trailers and updates on already revealed games coming out in the next few months, plus occasionally brief intros from the developers themselves. This year’s Gamescom ONL will also include a live orchestra performance of music from surprise hit Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and the first footage of Fallout season 2.

What games will be shown at Gamescom ONL?

Beyond the tease for Silksong, Keighley has already confirmed the following nine games will also make an appearance:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
  • Resident Evil Requiem
  • Ghost of Yotei
  • Ninja Gaiden 4
  • The Outer Worlds 2
  • Silent Hill f
  • World of Warcraft: Midnight
  • Black Myth: Wukong
  • Lords of the Fallen 2

Black Ops 7 is expected to reveal the first footage from its updated multiplayer, while Black Myth: Wukong is headed to Xbox this week and could potentially be showing off its long-rumored DLC expansion. With no BlizzCon this year, Microsoft will also be using ONL to debut the next World of Warcraft expansion, though a much bigger deal would be if it ever gets a much-requested console port. And what about Diablo 4‘s recently leaked Paladin subclass, rumored to be part of its next expansion? The Outer Worlds 2 is Microsoft’s other big fall release, but with few updates on its biggest in-development games at its Xbox showcase in June, there are plenty of other big releases that could make surprise appearances at ONL.

We haven’t heard much from Ubisoft this year either. Amid big delays and internal restructurings, the French publisher declined to hold its usual Summer Game Fest-adjacent June showcase. With the next Far Cry, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell remakes all in development, any one of them could get a tease at Gamescom. The developers behind The Division 2 have already teased news on the ongoing loot shooter’s big winter update. Who knows, maybe Gamescom 2025 is when Beyond Good and Evil 2 will finally resurface!

Watch Out for Millions in Bullish Liquidations Below $4.2K

by admin August 18, 2025

Crypto traders should remain vigilant for an ether (ETH) price drop below $4,200, which could trigger millions in long liquidations and increase market volatility.

As of writing, over 56,638 ETH in bullish long positions – valued at $236 million – faced liquidation risk on the decentralized perpetual exchange Hyperliquid in case of an ether price drop to $4,170, according to data from Hyperdash.

The data also showed a risk of sizable liquidations at $2,150-$2,160 and $3,940. At press time, ether changed hands at $4,260, down nearly 5% on the day, according to CoinDesk data.

Andrew Kang, founder of the crypto venture capital firm Mechanism Capital, stated on X that large long liquidations could potentially drive ether prices down to $3,600.

“[I] would estimate we’re about to hit $5b in ETH liquidations across exchanges, taking us down to $3.2k – $3.6k,” Kang said.

ETH liquidations map. (Hyperliquid/HyperDash)

Liquidations, or the forced closure of leveraged bets, happen when a trader’s position falls short of the margin requirements set by the exchange.

The margin shortage typically occurs when the market moves against the trader’s position, causing their account equity to fall below the minimum maintenance margin. This prompts the exchange to automatically close the position to prevent further losses and ensure borrowed funds are recovered.

Largely long liquidations cause a sudden surge in selling pressure, which pushes prices even lower, creating a cascading effect that can trigger additional liquidations. This negative feedback loop tends to amplify market volatility.

Capcom Spotlight: Start Time, How To Watch, And What To Expect

by admin June 25, 2025

Capcom will air a Capcom Spotlight livestream on Thursday, June 26, featuring a selection of its upcoming games, along with updates for ongoing games, like Monster Hunter Wilds. The showcase is set to feature some of Capcom’s biggest upcoming titles, including the recently announced Resident Evil Requiem.

Capcom has laid out the four games it plans to show, and while there is always a chance of a surprise, Capcom Spotlights don’t usually feature any major new game announcements. Here’s everything you need to know to tune in.

How to watch the Capcom Spotlight

Join us on Thursday, June 26, 3pm PT for a 40-minute Capcom Spotlight livestream! Get our latest news and extended commentary with developer interviews.

Featured games:
⚔ Monster Hunter Wilds
🌆 Resident Evil Requiem
🌑 PRAGMATA
👊 Street Fighter 6

— Capcom USA (@CapcomUSA_) June 19, 2025

Capcom will stream the Capcom Spotlight on its YouTube and Twitch channels, with subtitles available in 13 languages. You can also watch the stream on GameSpot’s YouTube channel.

Capcom Spotlight start time

The Capcom Spotlight starts at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET on Thursday. Capcom has said the livestream will last about 40 minutes.

Here are the start times for different time zones:

  • 3 PM PT
  • 6 PM ET
  • 11 PM BST
  • 8 AM (June 27)

What to expect

While there is always a small chance for surprises, Capcom has announced the four games that will be featured in the livestream. Those games are Monster Hunter Wilds, Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, and Street Fighter 6.

Resident Evil Requiem was announced during Summer Games Fest 2025, and now Capcom is planning to show off more of it during the stream. Some outlets, including GameSpot, got to see an extended demo of Resident Evil Requiem, which could be shown here to the public. It’s also possible that Capcom has even more to show, since Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 26, 2026

Pragmata got a new trailer at Summer Game Fest along with a 2026 release window. GameSpot played a hands-on demo of the puzzle-shooter at Summer Games Fest, and it seems possible Capcom could show off more gameplay here. Considering Pragmata got its 2026 release window just a few weeks ago, it seems unlikely that a more specific date will be announced during the Capcom Spotlight.

Monster Hunter Wilds, which currently has overwhelmingly negative reviews on Steam due to ongoing performance issues, will likely see announcements of new content updates, including potential upcoming events or new monsters. While there will most likely be a Monster Hunter Wilds expansion announced at some point in the future, it is probably too soon for that to be revealed.

Capcom recently announced the DLC fighters coming in Year 3 of Street Fighter 6–Sagat, C. Viper, Ingrid, and Alex–but Sagat, the first character to be released, doesn’t have a release date just yet. There will likely also be other updates, like new cosmetics and perhaps a showcase of the new fighter.

With the showcase running for about 40 minutes, it seems like there won’t be much time for additional announcements. However, Capcom has unveiled a classic game collection or two at past showcases, so never say never.

It’s a must-not-lose match for Chelsea today in Philadelphia as they take on tournament surprise package ES Tunis in this decisive Group D clash.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to watch every match of the tournament as it happens, wherever you are in the world. We’ll also explain how to use a VPN if the match isn’t available where you are, along with a full match list.

The Blues collapsed in the second half of their last Club World Cup outing against Flamengo, conceding twice and losing striker Nicolas Jackson to a red card—all within a chaotic six-minute spell. The 3-1 defeat has left Enzo Maresca’s side in need of a positive result in this final group stage fixture to keep their tournament hopes alive.

Standing in their way is an ES Tunis side that entered the competition among the outsiders, but has exceeded expectations. Their shock 1-0 victory over LAFC last week means another surprise victory would see the Tunisians advance to the knockout stage at Chelsea’s expense.

ES Tunis take on Chelsea on Tuesday, June 24, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET or 6 p.m. PT. That makes it a 2 a.m. BST start in the UK and an 11 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Wednesday morning.

How to watch ES Tunis vs. Chelsea online from anywhere using a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the FIFA Club World Cup soccer action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds. It can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions, ensuring you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.

Channel 5 is available through Freeview, Freesat, Freely, Sky or Virgin Media.

If you want to stream the network’s coverage from the tournament, you can head to channel5.com or download the dedicated My5 app for iOS, Android and smart TVs

Like the UK, Australia also has a second option for watching the tournament live. Alongside DAZN’s free coverage, pay TV broadcaster Foxtel and its sister streaming service Kayo will also be showing all 63 games.

Kayo Sports

A Kayo Sports subscription starts at AU$25 a month and lets you stream on one screen, while its Premium tier costs AU$40 a month for simultaneous viewing on up to three devices.

The service gives you access to a wide range of sports, including F1, NRL, NFL, NHL and MLB, and there are no lock-in contracts.

Better still, if you’re a new customer, you can take advantage of a one-week Kayo Sports free trial.

Quick tips for streaming the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 soccer using a VPN

  • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming soccer may vary.
  • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log in to your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, because both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Manchester City will look to maintain a winning start to Group G as it takes on an Al Ain team looking to regroup after suffering a nightmare opening result.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to watch every match of the tournament as it happens, wherever you are in the world. We’ll also explain how to use a VPN if the match isn’t available where you are, along with a full match list.

Pep Guardiola’s men kicked off their campaign with a convincing 2-0 win over Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca on Wednesday, with goals from Phil Foden and Jérémy Doku — and a late red card for young defender Rico Lewis.

Al Ain, meanwhile, head into this fixture low on confidence after a heavy 5-0 defeat to Juventus at Audi Field — a result that exposed defensive vulnerabilities and left the Emirati side on the brink of an early exit from the tournament.

Manchester City takes on Al Ain on Sunday, June 22, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET or 6 p.m. PT. That makes it a 2 a.m. BST start in the UK and an 11 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday morning.

Left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, who signed from Wolves in a in a $50 million deal early this month, is widely expected to make his Man City debut in today’s game.

The great news for footy fans is that sports streaming platform DAZN is set to broadcast all 63 matches of the FIFA Club World Cup free in almost every country, with coverage available in multiple languages.

DAZN

Existing DAZN subscribers or Freemium members can watch every game of the tournament as part of their current membership.

If you’re not a member, it’s easy to sign up for a free DAZN Freemium account using your email address to watch all the action at no cost through the DAZN app.

As well as dedicated apps for iOS and Android, DAZN offers a wide range of support for set-top boxes and smart TVs.

How to watch Man City vs. Al Ain online from anywhere using a VPN
