Binance CEO Unveils Three To-Do List Items in Crypto Space: Details

by admin June 17, 2025

Richard Teng, Binance CEO, has offered a concise guide to investors in the crypto space that could help them succeed in their investments. He shared the insights on the social media platform X with users in the community.

Reasons Teng’s rules matter on crypto market

According to the update, traders and investors must follow three key steps to success. The first is to “set the rules.” This implies establishing clear principles or guidelines for any asset one intends to engage in the crypto space.

You Might Also Like

Teng suggested that every trader must have a personal investment rule that includes how much risk to take, when to close a trade for profit-taking regardless of market performance and when to cut their losses.

Deciding ahead of time before engaging could provide clarity of thought and ensure decisions are not reached based on emotions. Many investors have suffered huge losses due to sentimental trading and not following the rules.

Things to do in crypto space:

1️⃣ Set the rules
2️⃣ Refine the strategy
3️⃣ Keep emotions out of decision-making

— Richard Teng (@_RichardTeng) June 17, 2025

The Binance CEO also highlighted that investors need to refine their strategy. In crypto, things move fast, and the market continually evolves. It is critical for investors to continuously monitor market trends and adjust accordingly to avoid a knowledge gap that could lead to losses.

For instance, a crypto exchange such as Binance could decide to delist a trading pair. Usually, this comes with a prior notice and time frame for market participants to convert their assets. However, such assets could be lost forever for an investor who is not current with this information.

Voice of reason in shifting market

Finally, Teng urged all crypto market participants to “keep emotions out of decision-making.” Notably, reacting impulsively in the industry is dangerous to investment.

You Might Also Like

He warned traders to avoid panic buying or buying assets due to fear of missing out (FOMO), which could lead to losses.

Although there are no clear reasons behind Teng sharing the three-step success mindset tips, the Binance CEO generally provides warnings, guides and tips in the crypto industry. The current volatility in the crypto space might also be a factor.

As of press time, the general crypto market has declined by 1.24%, likely due to regional conflict in the Middle East.

Bybit Unveils Solana-Powered DEX Byreal with CEX-Grade Speed, Mainnet Coming Q3

by admin June 17, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Crypto exchange Bybit has announced the development of its first decentralized exchange, Byreal, built on the Solana blockchain. The platform is expected to enter testnet on June 30, with a mainnet launch planned for the third quarter of 2025.

This marks a significant step for Bybit as it expands into decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure, aligning with broader market trends favoring transparency and decentralization.

Hybrid Trading Model and New Features

Bybit CEO Ben Zhou shared the update via social media, describing the new platform as a “hybrid model” that combines centralized exchange liquidity with “decentralized transparency.”

The announcement comes at a time when decentralized exchanges (DEXs) are steadily increasing their share of global spot trading volume, indicating a shift in user preference towards non-custodial solutions.

According to Zhou, Byreal incorporates features such as Request For Quote (RFQ) and Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker (CLMM) routing.

These mechanisms are designed to provide users with reduced slippage and more transparent trade execution, often associated with higher-frequency trading strategies on centralized platforms.

Bybit believes that such a setup allows for a more balanced and efficient market-making process within a decentralized framework. In addition to standard trading functions, Byreal will also support unique DeFi offerings, including a curated token launchpad and yield-generating vaults.

The platform plans to offer access to assets such as bbSOL, a liquid staking derivative on Solana. This broader suite of services positions Byreal to compete not just with DEXs like Raydium or Orca but also with token launch and yield platforms built on Ethereum and BNB Chain.

Lily Liu, president of the Solana Foundation, commented on the collaboration, emphasizing the potential for synergy between centralized and decentralized exchanges.

She stated that the combination of liquidity from centralized exchanges and the global accessibility of DEXs contributes to the broader vision of an open financial market on the internet.

Cex / Dex can work in harmony, and amplify one another.

The asset diversity and global availability of a dex, plus the liquidity of a cex.

Building internet capital markets means having asset and product venue diversity, all on the shared rails.

We are excited to collaborate!… https://t.co/1Q75QWxsdw

— Lily Liu (@calilyliu) June 15, 2025

Rising DEX Market Share and Solana’s Role

Bybit’s move comes during a noticeable uptick in DEX activity. In May 2025, DEXs accounted for over 20% of the global spot trading volume, according to data from DefiLlama. PancakeSwap currently leads the market with $132 billion in monthly volume, and the total trading volume across DEXs stands at $405.88 billion.

The growing popularity of these platforms signals increasing confidence in decentralized protocols for executing trades without intermediaries.

The Solana network has played a significant role in this trend. As of June, Solana-based DEXs hold roughly $77.43 billion in monthly volume, with majority concentrated on Raydium.

Ironheart Trailer Unveils New J.A.R.V.I.S And Magical Suit

by admin June 10, 2025

Image: Disney

Marvel’s upcoming miniseries Ironheart may only have six episodes, but its latest trailer proves it’s going to pack in all of the magic and machinery it can. In a newly released trailer, we not only get to see Riri Williams’ latest suit, but we also see her unique take on an Iron Man favorite.

Black Ops 7, Invincible Vs & More — Here Are The 5 Games That Stole Microsoft’s Show

The show’s first trailer laid out almost everything we needed to know about the upcoming season. We saw Williams (Dominique Thorne) proving her genius to Parker “The Hood” Robbins (Anthony Ramos) in a life-threatening test, we heard her coyly describe her time in Wakanda during Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as “an internship abroad,” and we also got a look at some of the cool suits she’ll be piloting. This new trailer is shorter but reveals two major additions: a magic-infused suit and her own spin on Tony Stark’s J.A.R.V.I.S.

After hearing Williams say she needs to think outside the box, we see a crimson-colored explosion of the same magical sigils we’ve seen sorcerers like Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) wield. We later get a glimpse of someone actually drawing those symbols and of Williams inside a suit that gets ensconced in those sigils. We don’t know yet who introduces her to this magic, but I’m praying to the MCU gods that somehow Wanda makes a surprise return to give our new iron-clad hero a lesson in multiversal magic.

Another cool part of the trailer is Williams building her own version of J.A.R.V.I.S. in the likeness of her best friend, played by This Is Us actress Lyric Ross. Since Ross’s character is memorialized in a mural with Williams’s late father, it’s safe to assume she’s dead and that this is Williams’s way of keeping her memory alive, whether she did so consciously or subconsciously. In the comics, Ross’s character is named Natalie, and her AI counterpart is dubbed N.A.T.A.L.I.E. This, and the profound quote from Williams’s father about taking something apart to really know what it’s made of, provides Ironheart the emotional core that gives its fantastical action human stakes.

Ironheart will have a three-episode world premiere on June 24 at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET on Disney+.

Sony’s Layer-2 Blockchain Soneium Unveils Gaming Incubator

by admin June 9, 2025

Soneium, the Ethereum overlay blockchain linked to 78-year-old Japanese electronics giant Sony, unveiled a new incubator program, Soneium For All, to accelerate consumer and gaming applications within its 7 million-user blockchain ecosystem.

As crypto continues its march into the mainstream, traditional technology companies, the Apple’s and Ubers of this world, are looking to the tech to commercialize their future operations.

Sony Block Solutions Labs (SBSL), the builder of Soneium, used the Optimism OP stack, a fast and cheap layer linked to Ethereum for “bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 audiences, especially for the creators, fans and community,” SBSL said.

The new accelerator, which plans to open its doors in the third quarter, was created in partnership with Astar Network and Startale Cloud Services, with investment support from Sony Innovation Fund, according to a press release on Monday.

“This initiative reflects our vision to empower creators globally through blockchain technology,” said Ryohei Suzuki, Director of Sony Block Solutions Labs in a statement. “By lowering the barriers to entry for developers and helping them reach users faster, Soneium For All brings us closer to a more open, creator-powered internet.”

AMD unveils Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme with AI processing NPU, expands family with two new chips for handheld gaming consoles

by admin June 8, 2025

AMD has announced two new additions to its Ryzen Z2 series of processors meant for handheld gaming devices. The company has introduced a new top-of-the-line Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme, which is essentially the Z2 Extreme with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). As a quick reminder, the original lineup was announced back in January and included the Ryzen Z2 Extreme, Ryzen Z2, and the Ryzen Z2 Go.

The second chip is the Ryzen Z2 A, which is stacked directly below the Ryzen Z2 Go, featuring fewer GPU cores and a lower configurable TDP (Thermal Design Power). These new additions indicate that we could see a wide range of handheld gaming consoles launch this year, potentially targeting the holiday season.

The company has shared limited information regarding the specifications and performance capabilities. The Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme has a similar configuration to the non-AI variant, including an 8-core/16-thread CPU, 24MB of cache, support for LPDDR5X-8000 memory, a configurable TDP of 15-35 watts, and 16 RDNA 3.5 graphics cores. The new Z2 processor is the first and only processor in the lineup to include a dedicated NPU, which is said to offer up to 50 TOPS of AI compute power and support for Microsoft’s Copilot+ features.

The Ryzen Z2 A now becomes the entry point into AMD’s Ryzen Z2 lineup, although it is based on the much older Zen 2 architecture. It features a 4-core/8-thread CPU, 8 RDNA 2 graphics cores, 6MB of cache, and supports LPDDR5-6400 memory. This makes it even less powerful than the previously announced Ryzen Z2 Go, but interestingly, it has a lower configurable TDP ranging from 6- 20W, which might be beneficial for battery life.

AMD hasn’t shared any information on what kind of performance we can expect from these new chips, nor has the company confirmed any new upcoming devices that will be powered by the new chips. The addition of an NPU on the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme could translate to potential AI-based enhancements like improved system optimization, faster real-time processing, and even power management to some extent. It may also prove beneficial for device manufacturers to integrate software and tools that enable them to tweak system performance in a more efficient manner.

Currently, the Lenovo Legion Go S and Legion Go 2 Prototype are the only two handhelds confirmed to utilize AMD’s Z2 series chips. Asus is another OEM that is expected to announce at least one new handheld this year, likely a successor to the ROG Ally and Ally X.

Sony unveils its own internally designed fight stick, Project Defiant

by admin June 6, 2025

Sony is designing its own fight stick.

Revealed last night (June 4) at PlayStation’s State of Play showcase, Sony confirmed the “ultra-low latency” wireless stick, known internally as Project Defiant, is expected to be available in 2026. No price point has been set for the peripheral.

“Project Defiant features a high-quality digital stick that’s custom-designed by Sony Interactive Entertainment,” explained VP for product development, Edwin Foo.

“The controller features toolless interchangeable restrictor gates (square, circle, and octagon) for the stick, buttons with mechanical switches, and a touch pad like the one found on the DualSense wireless controller. It’s built in a sturdy, ergonomic design for a comfortable feel during intense fight sessions.

“For convenience and portability, the controller has a storage compartment for restrictor gates and PS Link USB adapter. Project Defiant also supports the ability to wirelessly wake up your PS5 by pressing and holding the PS button.”

The controller’s final name and launch date are expected “in the months ahead.”

Tango Gameworks unveils new branding and confirms it’s working on a new action game

by admin June 2, 2025

Tango Gameworks has confirmed it is working on a new, unannounced action game.

To coincide with the launch of its new-look website and branding, Tango Gameworks revealed it was hiring, with open positions at its Tokyo studio spanning “almost every department.”

“Finally, after months of waiting, Tango Gameworks is back, and in a brand-new way,” the team said. “We’ve opened our site to give our fans and future team members a look into our studio. Here you can learn about the studio philosophy, as well as see featurettes from members of the team.

“Focused on what it feels like to make a game, our vision is centered on a studio that acts like a creative workshop, making games and experiences that emphasize that ‘hand-made’ feel we put into our work.”

Tango Gameworks was one of four Bethesda studios that Microsoft announced plans to shut down back in May 2024. It was formed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami in 2010, and was responsible for The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2 and Ghostwire Tokyo, before launching Hi-Fi Rush in 2023 to critical acclaim. Xbox acquired the studio in 2021 as part of its $7.5 billion purchase of Bethesda parent company Zenimax.

After Microsoft’s shock announcement, In August, however, PUBG publisher Krafton acquired Tango Gameworks and the Hi-Fi Rush IP from Xbox as part of a “strategic agreement”.

In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz shortly after the acquisition, Krafton head of corporate development, Maria Park, said: “When we heard that Tango Gameworks was facing shutdown, our team immediately flew over to Tokyo. We recognised that Tango has this rich history of innovation and creativity, and the rarity of being a relatively small studio with a strong fandom. Initially, we weren’t sure about whether their legacy of craftsmanship and creativity could continue – especially after the departure of founder Shinji Mikami. But our visit dispelled these worries.”

Blum Unveils New Strategy and $BLUM Token Launch in June

by admin May 31, 2025

Blum announced significant changes in strategy after working with investors, exchanges, and major stakeholders. Especially, the eagerly awaited $BLUM token will launch in June, both on the Blum app and on decentralized exchanges.

The snapshot process for how many tokens each team will receive will take place early in June. Even after the departure of co-founder Vladimir Smerkis, the team is sure that Blum can fulfill its key ambitions in the future.

Originally, Blum was a multichain network, but it is now shifting to a bigger role within the TON (The Open Network ) framework. Blum’s team uses Telegram as their main system, and they are working to update their Telegram Trading Bot, which now supports over 7,000 users and has helped process over $50 million in trades. Future updates bring a Telegram-centered trading terminal and a wider TON launchpad for trading coins built on the TON network.

Blum also called out recent allegations that 99% of their users are bots, saying those claims are without solid evidence or credible information. TradeAfair said that Dune’s public records show there are more than 440,000 traders, a trading volume of over $70 million, more than 340,000 tokens, and close to 1,000 tokens now traded on decentralized exchanges.

Blum announced its intention to streamline and expand on-chain trading for Telegram’s huge user community. The team has set up an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session that will happen next week to address questions from the community.

Biwin unveils PCIe Gen5 SSD with 14,500 MB/s read speeds

by admin May 29, 2025

Earlier this year, Biwin started to sell its range-topping X570 Pro SSD with a PCIe 5.0 x4 based on SMI’s SM2508 controller, putting itself on the map of the highest-end drives. Now, the company is seeking to address a demanding, yet more price-critical market segment with the vanilla X570 SSD that the company launched at Computex 2025. Despite the name, this is not a simplified version of the X570 Pro, but a drive based on a completely different PCIe Gen5 platform that can still deliver up to 14,500 MB/s sequential read speed.

Biwin’s Black Opal X570 is one of the first high-end SSDs based on Maxio’s MAP1806 controller that has eight NAND channels and supports 3D TLC NAND memory with an up to 3600 MT/s interface. Biwin’s X570 is said to offer an up to 14,500 sequential read speed (the maximum read performance supported by a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface) and an up to 11,000 MB/s sequential write speed, which is 2,000 MB/s or 3,000 MB/s below today’s best SSDs. As for random performance, we are talking about up to 2 million read IOPS and up to 1.5 million write IOPS.

When Biwin first showcased its X570 SSD last year, the company said that these drives would offer considerably higher sequential read and write speeds (up to 14,500 MB/s reads and up to 14,000 MB/s writes, respectively). However, as the company now has an SMI SM2508-based X570 Pro drive, it looks like it decided not to push the vanilla X570 to the limits, perhaps to avoid cannibalization of the higher-end model by the X570.

You may like

Biwin’s Black Opal X570 SSDs will be available in the M.2-2280 form factor with 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB configurations, featuring endurance ratings of 600 TBW, 1200 TBW, and 2400 TBW, respectively. All models include a five-year warranty.

Since Biwin’s Black Opal X570 drives were just launched at Computex, the company has yet to discuss their pricing. Yet, we have all the reasons to believe that they will cost less than X570 Pro SSDs of the same capacity. In Europe, a 1TB X570 Pro costs around €167 ($138, excluding VAT), which is a very competitive price compared to Samsung’s 9100 Pro SSD ($180) or other high-end PCIe Gen5 drives that cost around $160 – $170.

One of the interesting aspects about Biwin’s X570 is which memory the drive is set to use. When the company first introduced its X570 drive at Computex 2024, it said that it would be based on Maxiotek’s MAP1806 controller as well as YMTC’s 3D TLC NAND memory. By now, the situation on the market has changed because of uncertainties associated with U.S. tariffs. For now, the U.S. does not impose tariffs on chips, including Maxiotek and YMTC chips produced in China, and SSD modules assembled in China, but that may change over time. If this happens, the best course of action for Biwin for its X570 would be to switch to 3D TLC NAND memory from a non-Chinese maker and outsource production to a company located outside of China. That said, we cannot state for sure which flash memory X570 drives are set to use at launch and over time.

New York unveils details for its first annual NYC Video Game Festival

by admin May 29, 2025

Cities around the world have been showing their enthusiasm for gaming as an educational tool, and New York City is helping to lead that charge with its first annual NYC Video Game Festival on Saturday, May 31. The day-long event will feature esports competitions, arcades, and indie game demos, all taking place at Convene Brookfield Place in lower Manhattan.

The NYC Video Game Festival will also host the finals of the fifth-annual Minecraft Education Battle of the Boroughs Esports competition. The competition has fostered creativity among the school kids of New York City as they’re tasked with solving some of the city’s challenges using the tools within Minecraft. For example, last year, kids were tasked with designing a new Brooklyn Army Terminal Climate Innovation Hub.

Each borough of New York City will be sending three finalist teams (representing elementary, middle, and high school) for a total of 15 teams competing.

In addition to the Minecraft competition, New York-based colleges will be sending their best and brightest Fortnite and Valorant players to compete in the 2025 Collegiate Championship. One of the teams competing is The Quad Gods, the world’s first all-quadriplegic esports team, which was recently featured in an HBO Documentary.

The May 31 event is just the beginning, as New York City is planning on hosting a variety of gaming events over the next several months as part of its NYC Summer of Games initiative. A full rundown of all of this summer’s events can be found here.

Polygon is thrilled to partner with New York City as part of this event, which has allowed kids to really prove that games have the ability to solve real-life challenges. We hope to see you there!
