XRP Turns Bullish Versus Bitcoin, Bollinger Bands Signal

by admin June 18, 2025

XRP is showing real signs of strength against Bitcoin, with a technical shift on the daily chart hinting at a potential breakout. For the first time in a few days, the XRP/BTC pair has moved back above the middle Bollinger Band — a level a lot of traders use as a rough dividing line between bearish and bullish conditions.

Right now, XRP is trading at 0.00002091 BTC, which is just above the middle band at 0.00002082 BTC. It might seem like a small move, but getting back in control of the midline can totally change how traders read the chart.

If the price holds and starts moving toward the upper band which, in this case, is at 0.00002142 BTC, it could signal the start of an upward trend. Meanwhile, the lower band is at 0.00002023 BTC.

In the last 48 hours, XRP has gone up by around 1.7% against Bitcoin. It is not a huge move in itself, but what is really interesting is the shift in momentum: XRP is starting to bounce back from recent lows and stabilizing within its usual volatility range.

You Might Also Like

For context, XRP’s all-time high against Bitcoin is still a long way off at 0.00024 BTC — that was the level it was at during the 2017 cycle. So while this current move does not put that historical peak anywhere near reach, it does mark a subtle but notable change in short-term dynamics.

At the moment, Bitcoin is trading at $104,743, while XRP is priced at $2.19. The crypto market is on hold for now, but XRP’s relative performance against BTC could be interesting for traders looking to switch between major currencies as the market changes.

JuCoin launches new feature that turns trading losses into computing power

by admin June 16, 2025

Trading platform JuCoin has introduced a new feature that can turn trader losses that reach more than 500 USDT into computing power.

The new JuCoin feature is called the “Contract Guardian Program is scheduled for a live launch on the platform starting from June 16 2025 at 00:00 UTC+8. Once it is activated, users that incur trading losses that reach a minimum of 500 USDT (USDT) and a maximum of 50,000 USDT will be able automatically receive computing power equal to their losses on a 1:1 ratio.

This means that if a user experiences an accumulates trading loss that amounts to 1,500 USDT, then the user will automatically receive 1,500 JU computing power as a subsidized reward.

”Computing power represents the production capacity within the JU ecosystem, which can generate continuous income instead of a one-time payment,” stated the exchange in its notice.

This means that overtime, the accumulated computing power will be able to continuously generate passive rewards in the form of JU tokens.

The platform assesses losses on a weekly basis every Monday at 00:00 UTC+8. The system calculates a user’s net realized profit and loss throughout the previous seven-day trading week. It takes into a account all closed positions, with the exception of handling fees and funding fees.

However, the exchange noted that this feature is only active during what it deems to be “loss trading cycles.” When users gain profits spanning weeks, balancing out the losses, then they will not receive computing power from previous losses. The system is designed this way to “ensure that successful transactions are fully rewarded.”

How to register for JuCoin’s protection plan?

In order to be eligible for the protection plan, users must complete the platform’s Know-Your-Customer verification for their JuCoin account. The exchange does not apply a minimum balance or other additional requirements.

”We intentionally keep the barrier to entry to a minimum because we believe that loss protection should be available to all serious traders,” stated the firm.

Users who make reservations in advance will share the JU computing power reward pool with a total value of 100,000 USDT. The higher the reservation ranking, the larger the allocation.

The reservation system adopts the principle of first come first served basis.

Most recently, JuCoin released its first Tether-based fixed income product with a tiered APY system. The offering includes six different terms—7, 15, 30, 45, 60, and 90 days—designed to cater to varying investor preferences.

Trump turns crypto influence into income with $57m windfall

by admin June 14, 2025

President Donald Trump has reported $57.4 million in income from World Liberty Financial, his cryptocurrency venture backed by sons Donald Jr. and Eric Trump.

According to the Financial Times, citing a 200-page filing, the U.S. Office of Government Ethics discloses that one of Trump’s largest revenue sources among hundreds of financial interests is his crypto venture.

The filing shows Trump holds 15.75 billion governance tokens in World Liberty Financial. Instead of a direct investment, the tokens were obtained through his promotional activities on the network.

The report also shows that Trump holds positions in holding companies linked to digital ventures, such as CIC Digital LLC and CIC Ventures LLC, though these entities reported little to no income.

The document includes Trump’s certification that the information provided is “true, complete, and correct to the best of [his] knowledge,” and is subject to review by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.

Earlier this year, Trump removed David Huitema as director of the Office of Government Ethics, an independent agency responsible for overseeing ethics rules and financial disclosures for the executive branch.

Trump’s crypto fortune fuels conflict-of-interest concerns

According to 2024 SEC filings, Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy, was a “promoter” of the World Liberty Financial initiative. The venture operates as a decentralized finance platform offering cryptocurrency lending and trading services.

Since it launched last year, World Liberty Financial sold 21 billion tokens in a public offering, generating $1 billion in funding.

Trump’s involvement appears legal on the surface, but Democrats and some Republicans have flagged Trump’s willingness to profit while in office as a conflict of interest —particularly since the president holds substantial crypto stakes while influencing policy.

SEC Chair Paul Atkins has dropped several high-profile enforcement cases against cryptocurrency companies since taking office. This has created a more favorable regulatory environment for the industry, one in which Trump has seemingly granted investors access to the executive branch if they’re Official Trump (TRUMP) owners.

Rep. Jamie Raskin, the top House Democrat, recently opened a probe into the private dinner Trump hosted for top investors in his meme coin.

In addition to World Liberty Financial, Trump Media & Technology Group declared its intention to raise $2.5 billion for a “bitcoin treasury” strategy and to introduce a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund.

Major investor backs Trump crypto ventures

DRW Investments, controlled by Chicago trader Don Wilson, invested $100 million in Trump Media just nine weeks after Cumberland, Wilson’s crypto liquidity provider, received SEC enforcement relief.

Cumberland won dismissal of a civil complaint alleging unregistered securities dealer violations in March. Prior to the SEC dropping charges under the new leadership, the Biden administration had pursued the matter.

DRW’s investment makes it among the largest financiers of Trump Media’s cryptocurrency expansion plans. The funding supports the company’s ambitions to acquire over $2 billion in cryptocurrency holdings and establish bitcoin treasury operations.

The Trolley Solution is a moral quandary that suddenly turns into a tragically touching tale of tram love

by admin June 14, 2025

There aren’t many games lately which have compelled me to do a tweet, or skeet, or whatever you prefer to call ejaculating one’s thoughts out onto the socials. The Trolley Solution’s Steam Next Fest demo not only did that, it convinced me to post a tweet I didn’t even write.

It’s a game from indie dev byDanDans that starts off as a series of moral quandaries, each inspired by philosopher Philippa Foot’s famous and now also thoroughly memed-to-death Trolley Problem. That being a thought experiment which forces you examine the ethics of either letting nature take its course to deliver one outcome that could cause harm to others, or actively intervening to cause another that might do the same in a different fashion. I didn’t go in expecting to become enraptured in what I can only describe as a tragic rail romance.

At first, things were as I’d anticipated. Upon firing the game up, you’re transported to a main menu that fittingly sees you move a tram along some tracks to different stations, each of which takes you to a minigame offering some fresh twist on the classic Trolley Problem.

Sometimes you’re choosing whether to let five people tied to one track die, or flick a lever that’ll doom a person on another track instead. In one case, your girlfriend and best friend are on the two tracks, having cheated together without the friend knowing it was your partner they were engaging in hanky-panky with. Also, the friend has a terminal disease and will die in a month anyway.

You know, the standard stuff very smart people think about while washing their pits in the shower. One makes you choose between virtual people dying, and the game asking for permission to post a very controversial tweet via your very real Twitter account, assuming you’ve not abandoned the Musk platform because using carrier pigeons is far superior.

Watch on YouTube

Then, not long after a game based around picking which track didn’t have a cat hiding under the giant plastic cup perched on it, I pulled into a station dubbed “Mai tomori sama romansu”. It soon became apparent this was not your standard tram stop.

I found myself flung headlong into a visual novel-style story about a schoolgirl named Tameko, her best mate Tomadochi, and their mortal enemy, a superficial and popular former friend named Teki. Added to this triple T triangle is a Trolley, because this still is The Trolley Solution, lest you forget. I’ll not spoil what happens in this short multiple-choice and marvellously meta mirage amid the funny puzzling, save for one thing.

Tameko falls, to a degree of your choosing, in love with a tram. He goes by Trolley-San and keep pulling up and saying “Ding Ding” in what I can only assume by Tameko’s reactions to be an incredibly suave and seductive fashion. This and all the rest of the game – and I can’t emphasise this enough, are a right hoot, a great laugh, and a throaty chuckle.

So, if you find yourself at the Steam Next Fest intersection and aren’t sure which direction to pull the big games lever, I can thoroughly recommend yanking it The Trolley Solution’s way. Especially since the full thing’s set to come out in Q4 2025.

Bitcoin Faucet Turns 15: Sculpture Near NYSE Celebrates Monumental Rise

by admin June 12, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

On June 12, 2010, core BTC contributor Gavin Andresen launched the famous Bitcoin Faucet. At that time, the cryptocurrency was barely over a year old, and there was much uncertainty surrounding its future.

The Bitcoin Faucet was one of the first projects to boost its adoption. The website gifted 5 BTC to every visitor, at a time when each BTC was valued at around $1, in an attempt to provide more people with access to the digital asset.

Since then the cryptocurrency has made one of the biggest rallies in history rising from less than $1 to over $100,000. In addition, the digital asset has been embraced by major institutions in the legacy financial world.

Art Installation Commemorates Bitcoin Rise

In this context, fund investors turned mathematical artist Nelson Saiers created an unique sculpture to honored Bitcoin’s rise. As seen in the image below, the artist placed a piece called ‘Liquidity’ close to the NY Stock Exchange (NYSE) building.

The piece, a white monolithic block covered in Bitcoin themes and pieces of code with a black faucet, not only illustrates this key early project, but also how the cryptocurrency has made its way into Wall Street.

In an exclusive talk with Bitcoinist, the artist claims that the piece was strategically installed near the NYSE to highlight Bitcoin’s massive jump, but also how the US Federal Reserve (Fed) and traditional institutions contributed with the cryptocurrency’s ascend. Saiers told us:

I placed a sculpture called “Liquidity” near the NY Stock Exchange to commemorate this event. The choice to place it near the NYSE was to celebrate its rise from a token that had little value 15 years ago to an asset with a total market cap that only a few stocks exceed.

The faucet imagery and the title “Liquidity” also point to the Fed’s actions injecting liquidity into the market which in my opinion benefited BTC.

Bitcoin An Outsider No More

Over the past decade, Saiers has dedicated to create and install unique pieces to celebrate Bitcoin and denounced US authorities. As Bitcoinist covered 3 years ago, the artist called cheap on the US Fed by installing a vintage gumball machine in front of the Wall Street Bull pointing at the institution’s “cheap money” policies.

Furthermore, Saiers also installed an inflatable Bitcoin Rat, one of his most iconic pieces, on different occasions with a similar goal to conveyed the popular feeling of mistrust and lack of confidence in legacy institutions.

Regarding his latest piece, Saiers also told us:

In many ways BTC is the ultimate financial outsider. It was mocked and insulted by many leading experts from Nobel laureates to world class financiers like Warren Buffett and Jaime Dimon. But today its gone from something that was being handed out for free 15 years ago by Andresen to an asset whose market cap few stocks exceed (…)

Date Everything turns everyday household objects into gorgeous love interests, and now I can’t look at my refrigerator the same way

by admin June 11, 2025

I can’t say I’ve ever looked at any one of the inanimate objects in my apartment and thought about taking it for dinner and a movie, but Date Everything suddenly has me questioning my limited worldview by asking: What if a record player was actually a gorgeous 1920s flapper?

I’ve been pretty stoked for this game for a while. I’m a sucker for a quirky dating sim, which this very much is, and Date Everything boasts a pretty stellar voice cast from the likes of Felicia Day to Johnny Yong Bosch.

Its release is just around the corner now, but developer Sassy Chap Games has very kindly put out a demo so I can finally see which appliances are hot and which are… bizarre Duke Nukem parodies springing forth from an unassuming microwave.

Switching between the real world and the dateable objects world happens through a pair of handy-dandy glasses—which, yes, it seems you can also date—turning my freezer into a big cuddly foodie and my bed into a very flirtatious woman.

Date Everything really isn’t exaggerating with its name, either. Putting on the glasses highlights all the different household doodads I can chat up, and it’s a lot. Curtains, hampers, recipe books, blankets, magnifying glasses, freaking window panes. The entire house is a smorgasbord of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.

They’re all complete with vaguely punny names—the window is called Wyndolyn, and the coffee machine, Kopi, takes her name from the Indonesian word for coffee—and designs that really do compliment each one’s inanimate appearance. Betty the bed is draped in puffy, comforting looking duvets while door Dorian dons a necklace full of keys and a white shirt with some classic doorway paneling.

I started taking a weird pleasure in trying to guess each object’s appearance and personality before shooting my glasses’ love beams at them to awaken them. I got almost every single one wrong, mind, but Sassy Chap has pretty accurately nailed how each thing would probably act if it was a real person.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

It’s mostly brief introductions to each character in the demo, but they all have plenty to say. The dialogue does admittedly veer into cringe quite regularly but, you know, in that weird endearing sort of way. There’s a little bit of fourth-wall breaking and a nice range of dialogue options I can return back with—standard stuff, like peppy positivity or some more passive-aggressive sass—and for the most part, I was interested in getting to know each person/object a little bit more.

Thankfully, I won’t have to wait too long for that. Date Everything launches on Steam on June 17 (just a week away!) and you can wishlist the game now, or give its demo a little peep. The first day is fixed on who you meet, but the second demo day opens up a good chunk of the house to meet whoever you desire.

Pocket Boss turns corporate data manipulation into a puzzle game

by admin June 7, 2025

There’s a new puzzle game in town, and this one tackles remote work and corporate data manipulation. Pocket Boss is coming to Steam and the developers just dropped a trailer during the Day of the Devs showcase event, which is part of Summer Game Fest.

Pocket Boss casts players as an employee working remotely, trapped by the whims of an ever-demanding boss. The game is primarily set inside of a chat window, though the puzzle element kicks in when the aforementioned job creator demands changes to data in order to maximize profits and erase competitors.

When that happens, the perspective shifts to a minigame. There looks to be plenty of different designs here. One game involves flinging a competitor’s market share off of the screen, while another has players navigate a physical representation of the stock market without crashing. It’s like a corporation-soaked take on the WarioWare franchise.

The game is published by Playables, which is the studio behind the novel-looking Time Flies and the interactive cartoon KIDS. We don’t have a release date for Pocket Boss just yet.

Playables

Of course, this is just one game announced during the beefy Day of the Devs stream, and that’s just one event of many throughout Summer Game Fest. It’s a good time to be someone who likes to read and watch trailers about upcoming video games.

Hopium turns into reality: Arc Raiders will be arriving in October this year

by admin June 7, 2025

As part of today’s Summer Game Fest kick-off show, what many Arc Raiders players and fans hoped would happen did, in fact, take place. Ever since the end of the second Tech Test in early May, many of those who took part never wanted to stop playing.

In fact, considering how polished the game already was, even at that early stage, some outright called for it to be officially released. Today, fans didn’t receive exactly that, but they did receive a release date for the shooter.

While many were holding out hope for another beta test in the imminent future, it looks as though fans will need to wait a little longer to dive back into Arc Raiders. The latter is especially true for the millions who simply couldn’t get into Tech Test 2, and spent those days instead watching and reading content from those playing, which no doubt didn’t make things any easier.

Well, everyone can celebrate today, because Embark just announced that Arc Raiders will release on October 30, 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. This looks to be an updated build that expands on Tech Test 2, but we’ll have to spend some time with it to see how much has changed.

Not that the game needed much work, as Arc Raiders already has a strong character, solid gameplay loop, and a vibe that takes me back to the golden era of classic PUBG.

Arc Raiders developer Embark seems to have a good relationship with Geoff Keighley. The extraction shooter was initially announced at The Game Awards in 2021, when it was still a co-op shooter, and before it turned into the game it is today.

The Finals, the studio’s first game, shadow-dropped in December 2023 at that year’s Game Awards, so you can bet everyone was bracing for some Arc Raiders news at this summer’s Summer Game Fest.

Dogecoin Price Turns Bearish as Elon Musk-Trump Feud Ignites Fear

by admin June 7, 2025

The Dogecoin price records a drop of over 10% in valuation over the past seven days amid the setback faced between Elon Musk & Donald Trump. At the time of writing, the value of DOGE price was $0.179 with a trading volume of $1.63 billion. Moreover, with a market capitalization of $26.88 billion, this memecoin has secured the 08th position in the crypto market with a dominance of 0.8299%.

Check Dogecoin Price Technicals

The Bollinger Bands (BB) in the 4H time frame has displayed increased volatility as the bands are widening. Notably, the DOGE price chart recently touched the lower band near $0.17, suggesting increased selling pressure. The price has since rebounded and is approaching the midline.

With the DOGE memecoin heading toward its neutral zone, the price increase above this level might indicate that the market is heading towards growth.

Amid the rising volume, there has been a large drop in DOGE price. This highlights that investors are dumping their holdings of Dogecoin in a huge quantity. Increased volume highlights an increase in volatility, and decreases in the levels suggest weak bullish sentiment.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicator fell into an oversold zone during the past week. Notably, it is currently valued at 39.75 and shows a rising trend pattern. This indicates improving market conditions in the four-hour time frame with a high possibility of a price reversal.

What’s Next for DOGE Price?

The Dogecoin price could retest its immediate resistance level of $0.183 if the bullish sentiment increases. If the momentum stays intact at that point in time, it could head toward its upper resistance levels of $0.200 and $0.217 in the upcoming time.

However, a rejection around $0.183 could pull back the value of this memecoin toward its crucial support of $0.165 this month.

After working its magic on Zelda and Splatoon, it turns out Monolith Soft also aided development of Mario Kart World

After working its magic on Zelda and Splatoon, it turns out Monolith Soft also aided development of Mario Kart World

by admin June 5, 2025

Monolith Soft has officially announced the company helped with the development of Mario Kart World.

The developer, which previously assisted with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Splatoon 2 has stated on social media it developed the “fields and character designs” for the Nintendo Switch 2 racing game.

The studio has a history of open world video game development, becoming something of an expert in that particular area given the time spent on recent Zelda titles as well as its own Xenoblade releases. As such it makes sense why Nintendo would bring Monolith Soft over for Mario Kart World given the games’ shift to a non-linear format.

Check out our video preview for Mario Kart World here!Watch on YouTube

In 2024, Nintendo became the sole owner of Monolith Soft after years of holding roughly 80 percent of the company since 2007. In 2011, Nintendo would increase its stake to 97 percent of the company, after which those working there contributed to popular Nintendo series like Animal Crossing, Splatoon, and Zelda.

In recent years, Monolith Soft has largely been known for its ongoing Xenoblade series. In 2022 Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was released to high critical praise, and would continue this trend in 2025 with Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.

The original version of Xenoblade Chronicles X was something of a technical marvel in the Wii U, and its Switch version brought that same quality packaged with various visual updates, dynamic resolution scaling, and greater environment detail among other tweaks and improvements.
