This week at the Future Games Show, Hanger 13 debuted a new cinematic trailer, titled “The Initiation”, for their upcoming release Mafia: The Old Country.

Over the weekend at Future Game Show, Hangar 13 debuted “The Initiation” full cinematic for Mafia: The Old Country, showing protagonist Enzo Favara’s formal pledge to the Torrisi crime family. During the show, studio President Nick Baynes and Game Director Alex Cox discussed the team exploring a new setting and story for the franchise, going back to 1900’s Sicily and the origins of organized crime.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is vampire Witcher, and it looks rad in its latest gameplay trailer

The Blood of Dawnwalker is a title many fans of The Witcher series have had an eye on even before it was given its name. That’s because it comes from Rebel Wolves, a team of CD Projekt Red veterans, and one that revealed its presence back in 2022.

Even before the action RPG was properly revealed, Witcher publisher Bandai Namco signed Rebel Wolves’ first game, which no doubt carries a certain level of trust in the project. The game was actually revealed earlier this year, and we just had a a fresh look at it this week.

As part of the Xbox Games Showcase, we got treated to a new gameplay trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, the open-world action RPG from former CDPR creatives. The footage is almost entirely gameplay, showing the Unreal Engine 5 project in action.

Though its Witcher inspirations are clear, the flow of combat appears to be a lot; faster and more fluid. It’s going to be very interesting to see how much of the vampiric powers come into play compared to how often Witcher powers were used in those games.

But, if the trailer you’re about to watch doesn’t quite sell you on it, Rebel Wolves is hosting a proper gameplay reveal event on Saturday, June 21 at 12pm PT, 3PM ET, 8pm UK on Twitch.

The Blood of Dawnwalker may not be the easiest name to remember, but the game very much looks like a Witcher with vampire powers. It takes place in Europe in a fictionalised version of the 14th-century Black Death bubonic plague.

Vampires use the chaos to emerge as a new power and reclaim their lost rule. In this first chapter, we play as Coen, a human-turned Dawnwalker who can navigate both the realms of night and day.

Rebel Wolves promises strong elements of choice and consequence, and the ability to carve a path that will test your conviction to humanity against all the good you can do with the powers of a vampire.

The Blood of Dawnwalker comes out 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Persona 4 Remake Announces Itself With Laughably Short Trailer

During today’s Xbox Summer Game Fest event, the long-rumored remake of Persona 4 was finally announced… but that’s about all we got from the ridiculously short teaser revealing the upcoming remake.

Here’s the trailer for Persona 4 Revival, which doesn’t have a release date:

In the extremely (incredibly) brief teaser released by Atlus during the event, we saw a few seconds of gameplay, got a name for the remake, and a list of platforms that the remake of the beloved JRPG will be available on in the future.

Persona 4 Revival has been rumored for years now, with leakers and insiders hinting at the game’s existence. And then on May 28, Persona 4 voice actor Yuri Lowenthal posted on BlueSky—in response to fans asking him about the then-rumored remake and his return—saying that he wasn’t coming back despite possibly begging Atlus to return.

“And for those who keep asking, no, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake,” posted Lowenthal, who also voices Spider-Man in the Insomniac games on PS4/PS5. “I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don’t want me to come back.”

This was a big hint that the remake was happening. And now, courtesy of Summer Game Fest, we finally got a teaser. There’s not really much to it, but I suspect fans of the original Persona 4 and the franchise as a whole will be digging into every frame to see what they can uncover.

Persona 4 Revival arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in the future. No Switch 2 port was announced. Which is odd, but hey, maybe things will change between now and whenever the remake finally arrives.

Possible New Call Of Duty: Warzone Map Teased In Black Ops 7 Trailer

Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 during the Xbox Games Showcase, and the reveal trailer could also be hinting at Warzone’s next big map for battle royale.

Near the end of the Black Ops 7 reveal trailer, there is a scene of four soldiers dropping down onto a map, which looks very much like a squad diving into a Warzone match together. The map in question also looks similar to the rumored Avalon map found in Black Ops 6’s spectator mode, with both featuring a cluster of islands connected by bridges. This specific scene was saved for the end of the trailer and shown alongside a brief tease of Treyarch’s Zombies mode for Black Ops 7, so it is possible Activision is teasing Avalon for Warzone.

However, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up too soon. Black Ops 7 is revealed to be a co-op campaign, so it is possible the scene in question is just a section of the campaign used to show off four-player co-op. Additionally, known Call of Duty insider “The Ghost of Hope” claims the Avalon map was scrapped for battle royale and would be used for campaign and Outbreak Zombies mode for Black Ops 7.

Of course, we’ll likely learn more about Black Ops 7 and Warzone in the coming weeks, as Activision says more details will be revealed later this summer.

Season 4 is currently live in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. The season features a crossover event with the Ballerina movie, which is part of the John Wick universe. Players can earn free cosmetics and unlock a new marksman rifle during the Ballerina event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

Steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution has finally received another trailer after a basically 2 years of silence

After two years of essentially silence, gritty steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution has finally received another trailer at today’s Xbox Games Showcase, giving us a far more in-depth look at what to expect compared to its last announcement.

A handful of new characters have now been introduced, and the interactions featured have definitely helped set more of a cheeky tone for the game which the original reveal lacked. A lot of Avalon was shown off too, alongside brief looks at things like character customisation and weapon customisation, which even I felt a bit giddy about as someone who usually hates fiddling with gun parts. I expected to have to scrounge around looking for old firearms, but it looks like we’ll be able to blueprint our own together.

The most exciting aspect of the game, the ability to bend time and alter the storyline with the decisions you make while you play, was briefly given a spotlight, too, and it seems like this decision-making will play a very significant role in Clockwork Revolution. With that said, I’m left with more questions than I originally had now we’ve had yet another taste of what’s coming.

We’re working with an “in due time” release at the moment, but now that we have a gameplay trailer, it definitely feels like we’re getting closer to a release window announcement. At least I’ve been reassured that the game does actually exist as I was starting to convince myself I’d imagined it.

Felt That: Boxing is Punch-Out meets Crank Yankers in new trailer

If boxing Muppets that look like Crank Yankers wasn’t on your bingo card for Summer Game Fest, you surely missed out! Felt That: Boxing is a comedic boxing game in a world of furry puppets, featuring Ezra “Fuzz-E” Wright, our unlikely hero. It’s up to the player to go the distance with the little guy as he scraps his way through the Tournament of a Million Punches to save an orphanage.

What’s more shocking is that the title will feature music by none other than Flying Lotus, one of the pioneers of the classic Adult Swim bumps. The trailer shows the hilarious but strenuous exercise routine of Ezra as he prepares to get in the ring with a puppet far, far bigger than he is.

Felt That: Boxing comes out of Sans Strings Studio, created by Ryan Corniel and Sébastien Deguy who specialize in bringing “digital puppeteering to new heights.”

Although there is no release date for the sports boxing game, there’s already plenty of excitement around the title and others presented during Summer Game Fest.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 is real and launching later this year, according to a newly leaked trailer which also reveals that baby dinosaurs and more fan-requested features are arriving in the anticipated prehistoric theme park simulator sequel.

Update – 6:05 PM EST: Universal and Frontier have just announced the sequel officially.

On June 6, Jurassic Addict on Twitter spotted and shared images and details from what appears to be a story that accidentally went live on German gaming site GameStar. The story leaked that Jurassic World Evolution 3 will be launching on October 21, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Oddly, no Switch 2 port. The upcoming game is likely to be officially revealed during Summer Game Fest.

Also included in the leaked story was a trailer which has since been pulled from GameStar’s site but has already been uploaded to many places online by fans. Here’s a YouTube version that might be ripped down by the time you read this:

And no, your internet connection isn’t crappy. The quality of the leaked trailer is really bad. Still, this trailer provides us with our first look at baby dinos, a highly requested feature that wasn’t in the first two Jurassic World Evolution games.

Jurassic World fans are already digging through the low-quality trailer to spot new features and additions. As mentioned already, baby dinos are now a part of the game. But fans have also spotted improved and advanced terrain tools, new vehicles to drive around in, more customization options, new behaviors, the ability for flying dinosaurs to walk around on the ground, and new ways to tweak your genetically altered dinosaurs before they hatch.

As a big fan of Frontier Development’s Jurassic World Evolution 2 (and its predecessor), I’m excited that we’re getting a new game later this year, and just a few months after Jurassic World Rebirth hits theaters in July. Hopefully, you’ll be able to create a wild-looking D-Rex in the game.

Lies of P: Overture shadow dropped during Summer Game Fest following new gameplay trailer

Lies of P Overture, a DLC expansion for the original game, has just been shadow dropped during Summer Game Fest. This surprise came following a new gameplay trailer that shows off a variety of new bosses and areas to explore and get beaten up in.

Overture, a DLC expansion to the game, offers a lot of new content to tackle as you’d expect, but it also comes with three difficulty options. Overture will hopefully add more good action fun to a game we thought was pretty decent in our review.

There are also two boss battle modes available to players in Overture, accessible from the Hotel Krat Stargazer once players see at least one of the game’s endings.

In a statement released alongside the trailer, game director Jiwon Choi states: “Lies of P was a historic debut for our team, and it felt fitting to expand the story we’ve crafted in the most noteworthy fashion during Summer Game Fest with a surprise shadow drop on all platforms,”

Choi continues, “This expansion allowed us to complete the first arc of our story, and we hope our community feels the same love and support as they did for the base game. Please stay tuned for what awaits Geppetto’s Puppet.

WIth the release of Overture, NeoWiz is free to work on their next project, which will be a sci-fi survival horror game.
