Wordle today: Answer and hint #1463 for June 21

by admin June 21, 2025

Our Wordle tips can provide a bit of polish to not just today’s puzzle solving, but every puzzle afterwards too. Take a look at them, it won’t take long and they’ll definitely help. Today’s answer is on hand if you need a bit more than regular help, and the June 21 (1463) clue’s available too if you’d like something between the two.

I spent most of Saturday’s Wordle wrestling with an annoying pair of yellow letters that refused to fit in anywhere. Every new row turned out to be wrong in a different way, upending everything I thought I was working towards and tearing my confidence to shreds. Thank goodness I found one green early on to guide my way—I’d have been lost without it.

This one’s oddly specific, if you think about it. A sunny forest clearing, a small wooded spot without trees.

No, there is not a double letter in today’s puzzle.

Wordle help: 3 tips for beating Wordle every day

A good starting word can be the difference between victory and defeat with the daily puzzle, but once you’ve got the basics, it’s much easier to nail down those Wordle wins. And as there’s nothing quite like a small victory to set you up for the rest of the day, here are a few tips to help set you on the right path:

  • A good opening guess should contain a mix of unique consonants and vowels.
  • Narrow down the pool of letters quickly with a tactical second guess.
  • Watch out for letters appearing more than once in the answer.

There’s no racing against the clock with Wordle so you don’t need to rush for the answer. Treating the game like a casual newspaper crossword can be a good tactic; that way, you can come back to it later if you’re coming up blank. Stepping away for a while might mean the difference between a win and a line of grey squares.

Wordle gives you six rows of five boxes each day, and you’ll need to work out which secret five-letter word is hiding inside them to keep up your winning streak.

You should start with a strong word like ARISE, or any other word that contains a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels. You’ll also want to avoid starting words with repeating letters, as you’re wasting the chance to potentially eliminate or confirm an extra letter. Once you hit Enter, you’ll see which ones you’ve got right or wrong. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you’ve got the right letter in the right spot.

Your second guess should compliment the starting word, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time while also trying to avoid any letter you now know for a fact isn’t present in today’s answer. With a bit of luck, you should have some coloured squares to work with and set you on the right path.

After that, it’s just a case of using what you’ve learned to narrow your guesses down to the right word. You have six tries in total and can only use real words (so no filling the boxes with EEEEE to see if there’s an E). Don’t forget letters can repeat too (ex: BOOKS).

If you need any further advice feel free to check out our Wordle tips, and if you’d like to find out which words have already been used you can scroll to the relevant section above.

Originally, Wordle was dreamed up by software engineer Josh Wardle, as a surprise for his partner who loves word games. From there it spread to his family, and finally got released to the public. It wasn’t long before Wordle became so popular it was sold to the New York Times for seven figures. Surely it’s only a matter of time before we all solely communicate in tricolor boxes.

Why Is Ethereum Falling Today? Top 3 Reasons

by admin June 20, 2025

The Ethereum price has displayed increased bearish price action today, resulting in it retesting its $2,500 range. The value of ETH coin displayed signs of bullish build-up during the early Asian market, however, the value recorded a negative setback as the day proceeded.

On the other hand, the option expiry suggests a rising sell-off with more number of exiting the chain over the recent times. Amid such sentiment, investors are trying to understand the top reasons why Ethereum price is down today.

In this article, we will explore the short-term market sentiments and possible Ethereum price prediction.

Ethereum Options Expiry Suggests Increasing Bearish Sentiment!

The chart below from Laevitas highlights the ETH volume by expiration. It shows green bars representing calls, and red bars representing puts. The highest activity is observed on 21 of June 2025 (tomorrow) as the total volume of a contract amounted to 56.35K contracts (32.84K calls and 23.51K puts).

ETH Volume By Expiration, Source: Laevitas

The focus of the chart is that there have been trades around near-month expiration, specifically during this month, suggesting future volatility or market manipulations that may affect the forecast of the price of Ethereum on a significant level.

ETH Crypto Records Increased Outflow:

As per the data of DefiLlama, the Ethereum chain has experienced a significant drop over the past few weeks. Notably, from a peak of 27.99 million ETH on 06th of May, the numbers have dropped to 25.22 million today. This highlights a drop of approximately 10% in a span of 45 days.

Further, the sentiment highlights that more investors are now exiting the Ethereum chain, hinting at rising disinterest in it.

Ethereum Bulls Struggle At Key Moving Averages

The Simple Moving Averages (SMAs) 10, 50, 100, 200 is a key technical indicator used to analyze market trends by comparing price data over a specific number of periods. In the below chart, the SMA 100 & 200-days are on the verge of a negative crossover.

Moreover, they have acted as a strong resistance for the ETH coin price today as the altcoin faced a rejection at that point. This highlights a strong liquidation zone around that level that is $2,565. Following this, the value has dropped below the $2,500 mark, suggesting a rising bearish angle.

Additionally, the Volume shows a sharp increase in its latest candle, suggesting an increase in the selloff for Ethereum price in the shorter time frame. Volume is a key indicator used by traders to identify the bull and bear power in the market.

Considering the present market sentiments, the immediate test level of ETH coin stands at $2,475. Suppose, the bearish sentiment intensifies, this could lead the price to drop toward its crucial support of $2,384.75 within a short period.

However, a bullish reversal could lead the price toward its resistance of $2,525. A sustained bullish action may push the value of Ethereum price toward its upper resistance level of $2,578 shortly.

Wordle today: Answer and hint #1462 for June 20

by admin June 20, 2025

Give yourself a bit of a break, or just make things a little easier for yourself this Friday with our Wordle help. There’s a hint for today’s Wordle here for you if you need it, just as useful at pointing the way on your last row as it is your first. And if you’d rather not wait that long for a win, the June 20 (1462) answer is ready for you and happy to help.

Today’s Wordle was built up backwards, starting at the end and working its way towards the beginning. I didn’t choose to arrange it in reverse, it just sort of happened that way. At least it worked out without too many troubles along the way, although it never stopped feeling like I was doing it all wrong.

Why is Story crypto price down today?

by admin June 19, 2025

IP token continues its decline as initial launch and listing hype slowly dies down.

Story (IP) continues to lose steam following its initial post-launch rally. On Thursday, June 19, the IP crypto price was down 8.74%, contributing to a 35.51% decline over the past 30 days. A combination of broader market sentiment and investor profit-taking is exerting significant bearish pressure on the token.

Crypto markets have been under pressure over the past month, especially since the onset of the Iran-Israel conflict. Still, despite broader headwinds, major crypto assets have shown relative resilience. Bitcoin (BTC) lost 1.2% over that period, while Ethereum (ETH) was up 0.49%. However, this was not so for smaller altcoins.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other altcoins’ share of the total crypto market cap | Source: CoinMarketCap

In June, altcoin dominance steadily declined. Altcoins excluding Ethereum fell from 27.2% to 2.6%. At the same time, Bitcoin dominance rose, while Ethereum stayed flat. A lower risk appetite, both due to macroeconomic and geopolitical risk, is taking the steam out of the altcoin market.

IP crypto price tanks as initial hype vanes

IP token was up more than 500% in two weeks after its launch, to an all-time high of $7.33. Since then, the token has trended downward, losing 65% by June 19 of its value since its ATH. A combination of profit taking and declining hype contributed to the price drop.

The Story Protocol debuted as a layer-1 blockchain aiming to bring the $61 billion intellectual property market on-chain. Backed by notable investors including a16z and Samsung Next, the project raised $140 million.

The protocol allows IP holders to register and tokenize content on the blockchain, with features for custom licensing rules to support flexible monetization. However, adoption remains limited in terms of network activity and ecosystem metrics.

Story Protocol’s TVL, chain fees, and app revenue | Source: DefiLlama

According to DeFiLlama, the protocol’s total value locked has declined to just $11.25 million. Meanwhile, on-chain fees and app revenue are negligible, pointing to a lack of user engagement. For IP’s price to recover, the Story Protocol ecosystem will need to attract significantly more users.

Bitcoin Crashed From $17 to $0.01 14 Years Ago Today

by admin June 19, 2025

  • Turning $100 worth of Bitcoin into $1.4 billion
  • Mt. Gox completes payouts to creditors

On June 19, 2011, exactly 14 years ago, Bitcoin experienced a massive flash crash as it collapsed from $17 to below $0.01 level as a tremendous sell-off took place on the Mt.Gox crypto exchange, now a defunct one. This reminder was published by the popular crypto YouTuber Lark Davis on his X account.

Turning $100 worth of Bitcoin into $1.4 billion

This sell-off, which took Bitcoin a staggering 100% down the price scale, proved to be the result of a software glitch on the aforementioned trading platform. It allowed them to sell Bitcoin at negative prices and eventually caused a temporary market collapse.

Davis said that that historical flash crash gave a chance to crypto enthusiasts to get rich – if anyone had bought BTC at $0.01 for $100, by now it would cost already a staggering $1.4 billion. That would constitute a surge of 1,400,000,000%.

On this day, exactly 14 years ago, Bitcoin flash crashed from $17 to below $0.01

If you’d bought $100 of $BTC during the crash, it’d be worth $1.4 billion today. 🤯pic.twitter.com/p9lqrdUSFO

Similar growth is often experienced by owners of dormant wallets when they suddenly reactivate them. Whale Alert often reports that blockchain addresses that held BTC between ten and fifteen years see a massive price surge of their long-held Bitcoin and see their a few hundreds or thousands of dollars turn into millions of USD.

Mt. Gox completes payouts to creditors

In February 2014, Mt. Gox, the largest Bitcoin exchange at that time, lost almost 850,000 BTC to a hackers. It constituted roughly 7% of all Bitcoin in circulation back then and it was worth approximately $450 million.

The hack was attributed to a vulnerability in the wallet exploited by the hackers, who managed to made consecutive Bitcoin withdrawals unnoticed. This lead to the bankruptcy of the exchange. Part of the losses was compensated to the creditors during the period of ten years. However, in 2024, approximately 200,000 BTC were found in a “forgotten” wallet which hackers did not drain out in 2014.

Repayments started off in July last year, while the trustee, Nobuaki Kobayashi was supervising the Bitcoin distribution. Creditors just got a partial recovery of Bitcoins they lost. As reported by U.Today, in late March, Mt. Gox transferred approximately $1 billion worth of Bitcoin. Another large amount of BTC was moved by the now defunct exchange in December 2024. The payouts seem to be over as of now.

Michael Saylor Posts ‘Powerful’ Bitcoin Message Ahead of Crucial Event Today

by admin June 18, 2025

  • Saylor’s Strategy “powered by Bitcoin”
  • FOMC meeting coming today, here are expectations

Michael Saylor, a vocal Bitcoin evangelist, who cofounded Bitcoin treasury company Strategy (formerly known as MicroStrategy), has taken to his social media account to send yet another BTC-themed message to the global crypto community.

This message came out of the X platform (formerly Twitter) ahead of the scheduled FOMC meeting on June 18.

Saylor’s Strategy “powered by Bitcoin”

The AI-generated image published by Michael Saylor today depicts him as a superhero that looks like the Iron Man character, who is wearing a shining Bitcoin mascot on his chest clad in metal armor.

In the background, the earth is red with spots of fire and drones flying around in a smoke-filled sky. “Powered by Bitcoin,” Saylor’s tweet says. In these regular BTC-themed tweets, Saylor seems to be promoting himself as a face associated with Bitcoin.

His Tuesday tweet was also a provocative one, as Saylor depicted himself as a boxer waiting for an upcoming fight in a boxing ring. “Sometimes you need to fight for Bitcoin,” he tweeted. The community’s reaction in the comments was mixed.

However, the majority of the commentators were supportive of Saylor and his urge to buy as much Bitcoin as possible, and then “hold it forever.” On Monday, Saylor’s company, Strategy, announced the accumulation of 10,100 worth over $1 billion in fiat. The total crypto holdings of the entity now stand at 592,000 Bitcoin, valued at $61,816,344 at press time.

Saylor’s tweet came ahead of the FOMC meeting scheduled for today, at which the Fed Reserve chairman will announce a decision on interest rates.

FOMC meeting coming today, here are expectations

At the FOMC meeting today, investors expect to hear the new verdict regarding interest rates. However, many believe that the Federal Reserve is likely to leave them unchanged, at least for June. The next meeting is scheduled for July 29-30.

Crypto analyst Michael van de Poppe tweeted that it is normal for the Bitcoin price to tumble one or two days before a new FOMC meeting, and this is a good chance to buy the dip. On Tuesday, Bitcoin plunged by 4.82%, hitting $103,590. By now it has managed to regain 1.78%, but then went down another 1%, and is currently changing hands at $104,400.

Why is Pi Network token down today?

by admin June 18, 2025

Pi Network continues its decline with a sharp daily drop, as the latest announcements fail to impress investors.

Pi Network (PI) is facing a challenging stretch. On Tuesday, June 17, the token dropped 11%, hitting a daily low of $0.5311 and wiping out its gains from the previous few days. A generally negative market trend further dampened enthusiasm for the network’s latest updates.

The two-day slide, which took Pi from a high of $0.6345 to its current level of $0.5450, began shortly after June 15. This timing coincided with an announcement that the .pi domain auctions would become a standalone app, separate from Pi mining.

The news failed to spark interest among Pi holders. Most remain far more engaged with the network’s core mobile crypto “mining” feature, which rewards users for app activity. However, those rewards continue to decline.

This caused users to complain that rewards are so low that engaging with the network is no longer worthwhile. Some users noted that by March 20205, even diligent miners could now only earn 2.1 Pi per month, which was less than $2.

As a declining mining rate is a core feature of the project, Pi Network will likely continue to bleed users and value. That is, unless the team inspires the users to become long-term holders and investors, instead of just trying to cash out their mining rewards.

PiChain password leak rocks the Pi ecosystem

The launch followed a security incident that shook the Pi Network ecosystem. PiChain Global, the company behind the Pi Chain Mall e-commerce platform, suffered a password leak, prompting an urgent warning for users to change their login credentials.

We’ve received reports of leaked Pi account passwords, which may allow unauthorized access to your Pi Browser and lead to asset theft. To secure your PCM account, please bind your email by following these steps:

1. Download PCM Wallet from the official website… pic.twitter.com/xeoU1Rjcrf

PiChain Global, an online marketplace where users can buy and sell items using Pi tokens, is not officially affiliated with the Pi Network. Still, the password leak damaged trust in the broader Pi Network ecosystem.

Update 9.0.0 is finally live in Dead By Daylight‘s full version after almost a month in the PBT server, and it officially marks the debut of The Animatronic, aka Springtrap, in the survival horror.

There couldn’t have been a better time to have an FNAF-inspired collab and update, and the new killer will interest plenty of players. Its abilities, especially how it travels between the doors, are unique. However, the latest update also includes gameplay changes, features, and more. This guide will provide all the vital information needed to update yourself with the new patch.

All major Dead By Daylight Update 9.0.0 features

We already know what to expect from Springtrap, which arrives with its exclusive Killer Power: Fazbear’s Fright. It also features a Fire Axe that can be thrown at a Survivor. Upon being hit, it will leave the Survivor vulnerable, and the weapon has to be removed before it can be healed.

The FNAF update also marks the entry of a new Map Feature called the Security System. Seven Security Doors will be spawned randomly, accessible by both The Animatronic and Survivors. Survivors can use a door and the camera associated with it to reveal the killer’s aura to the team. If Springtrap manages to travel to a door with a Survivor, it will automatically grab them.

The new killer also arrives with new Killer Perks that players must master to outwit the Survivors.

All Dead By Daylight Update 9.0.0 QoL features

The new patch includes plenty of quality-of-life features, and here are some of the main ones from the full patch notes.

  • Survivors will be considered AFK when not interacting within the last 10 seconds.
  • Survivors going AFK will accrue AFK Points. At the highest cap of three, crows will circle them and make loud noises at regular intervals.
  • Disconnection penalties will be based on your last 20 matches.
  • A new system will detect and penalize Survivors who die intentionally in the early part of a match.
  • Killers will have more freedom when activating the Mori system.

All Dead By Daylight Update 9.0.0 Gameplay features

The Lich has received a lot of tweaks as part of the new patch, which also includes plenty of bug fixes. The same can be said for many Killer Perks at the receiving end of buffs and nerfs alike.

  • The Lich’s spells are available at the start of a Trial (the cooldown has been removed).
  • All its ability cooldowns have been reduced from what they were before.
  • Victor from The Twins can now trigger chases with Survivors.
  • Killer Perks like Batteries Included, Dark Devotion, and Hex: Retribution have all received major buffs.
  • The contents of the Hellraiser DLC have also undergone plenty of changes. Some perks have become General Perks, and their names and icons have also been changed.

The new update includes many bug fixes, increased daily quest Blood Point rewards, and more for players to explore.
