Altcoin Chart Transitions From Bearish To Bullish, Is It Time For Alt Season?

by admin June 17, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Altcoins are beginning to show fresh momentum, as the Total3 chart, representing the combined market capitalization of all altcoins excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, has just transitioned from a bearish to bullish structure. According to a new analysis, the breakout signals a potential trend reversal, raising the possibility that the market could be entering the early stages of the long-awaited alt season.

Altcoin Chart Bullish Breakout Signals Alt Season

Crypto market expert Trader Tardigrade’s new technical analysis of the TOTAL3 chart has officially flipped bullish, showcasing a notable transition from a previously bearish structure into a potentially explosive setup. The analyst is currently closely watching this shift, as it may signal the early stages of an upcoming altcoin season.

According to the altcoin TOTAL3 chart, the market had initially completed a textbook Double Top pattern, a well-known bearish reversal signal. This pattern was clearly defined by two consecutive price peaks—both labeled as “Top” on the price chart—that failed to break higher, ultimately leading to a sharp sell-off and decline.

The breakdown from this structure confirmed a bearish phase, with the price ultimately reaching its projected target to the downside. This target zone is visibly marked on the chart, showing the Double Top pattern has fully played out.

Source: Trader Tardigrade on X

Following this bearish move, Trader Tardigrade’s chart analysis shows that the market began to consolidate and gradually build what now appears to be a classic Inverse Head and Shoulders pattern. Notably, the neckline of this pattern, marked clearly on the chart around the $920 billion level, is the key resistance threshold.

A confirmed breakout above this neckline would validate the Inverse Head and Shoulders formation, signaling a transition into a “super bullish phase” for the broader altcoin market. Trader Tardigrade’s chart also projects a potential target of approximately $1.29 trillion if this breakout occurs.

At present, the price action of the TOTAL3 chart is forming the right shoulder, which is a critical phase in the development of the Inverse Head and Shoulders pattern. While confirmation is still pending, the formation of this bullish setup following the completion of a previously bearish structure marks a significant development. If the neckline is broken with convincing volume and momentum, it could act as the trigger to a potentially strong altcoin season.

Altcoin Season 2025 To Mirror 2024 Rally

In a follow-up post, Trader Tardigrade released a technical chart comparison, which suggests the altcoin season could start in the next few weeks. This time, the analysis focuses on the TOTAL2 index, which tracks the total market capitalization of all altcoins.

The side-by-side chart compares the market behavior from late 2023 through early 2024 with the current price action from April through June 2025. In both periods, the market shows an initial strong upward move followed by a period of consolidation inside a descending channel. In early 2024, this channel breakout led to a significant altcoin rally.

Notably, the current 2025 chart appears to be repeating the same descending channel, with Trader Tardigrade projecting a potential altcoin season after the market experiences a pullback and breaks out of its present consolidation pattern.

Ubisoft still “deep” in the development of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time

by admin June 17, 2025

Ubisoft is still “deep” in the development of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

While the developer didn’t offer much more information about its pipeline or intimate a release date, in a message posted to social media, the team wrote: “Yep, we’re still deep in the game – exploring, building, and ensuring the sands move with purpose.”

“This game is being crafted by a team that truly cares, and they’re pouring their hearts (and a lot of coffee) into every step. Thank you for sticking with us.”

Beyond that, Ubisoft would only confirm to curious fans that the remake would be “com[ing] to consoles with the full launch.”

The remake was announced at Ubisoft Forward 2020, and had an initial release date of January 21, 2021. Back then, the reveal drew criticism for its visuals, prompting Ubisoft to delay release to March 2021. In June 2021, the remake of the 2003 title was rescheduled for 2022. After the title switched studios, Ubisoft refunded all pre-orders, and it’s now finally expected to release in 2026.

Last month, Ubisoft confirmed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – which launched on console and PC in January 2024, MacOS in December 2024, and mobile in April 2025 – surpassed two million players.

Amazon Prime Day 2025 Is A Four-Day Sales Event For The First Time

by admin June 17, 2025

Amazon has revealed the dates for this year’s Prime Day sales event. The 2025 iteration of the massive sale for Prime members kicks off July 8 and runs through July 11. The four-day window makes it the longest Prime Day sale yet. As the name suggests, Prime Day debuted as a 24-hour flash sale in 2015 before moving to a two-day structure in 2019. And now the sales event has doubled in size once again for Amazon Prime Day 2025.

Amazon Prime Day 2025 Start/End Times

Amazon Prime Day 2025 officially begins on Tuesday, July 8, at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET. The sales event will run for a full 96 hours, ending on July 12 at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET.

That said, Amazon offers early Prime Day deals in the lead-up to Prime Day every year. And depending on sale plans from other retailers, Prime Day-esque deals will likely be available on Monday, July 7, or even the weekend prior to the event. Amazon has a tendency to match competitors in the gaming, tech, and entertainment spaces.

Prime Day 2025 Deals: What to Expect

Amazon Prime Day 2025

So, Prime Day 2025 is twice as long, does that mean twice as many deals? Probably not, no. It’s more likely that the lengthened window just gives customers more time to shop. It also formalizes what has, in practice, been true for years at this point: Amazon Prime Day was already a week-long sales event.

Not officially, but with the plethora of early deals and so-called “anti-Prime Day” sales from competing retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy, the annual summer sale has become Black Friday in July over the past few years.

Amazon has already started offering some early deals for Prime members. Official early Prime Day deals, just like deals during the event, are exclusive to Amazon Prime members. Amazon Prime costs $15/month or $139 per year. New subscribers can get a 30-day trial that can be canceled at any time. Young adults (ages 18-24) and students can subscribe for $7.49/month, and if you’re new to Prime, the no-cost trial is extended to six months.

Prime Day is generally the best time of the year to buy many Amazon-branded electronics, including Fire TV Sticks, Echo Dots, and Kindle ereaders. Amazon’s early deals frequently include these devices and others. For instance, Amazon already has an awesome deal on the Fire TV Stick HD that drops the price to only $20. Fire TV Stick deals are currently available to non-Prime members, but the various 4K Amazon Fire Smart TVs that are on sale are exclusive to members. Here’s a quick look at some notable Amazon device deals.

Prime Day Gaming Deals

Amazon Luna Controller

As part of its early Prime Day gaming deals, Amazon is selling its Luna Wireless Controller for only $40 (was $70). Though initially designed with Luna cloud gaming in mind, this Bluetooth controller is a pretty great gamepad for general use on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. It’s reminiscent of the Switch Pro Controller (the first one). You can also bundle the Luna Controller with a phone clip for mobile gaming for $50. And if you’ve never subscribed to Luna+ before, you can get a free month of the cloud gaming service with the $40 controller deal.

Prime Day Free PC Games

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered

Amazon gives away free games, mostly for PC but sometimes for Xbox, each month throughout the year. The freebies, which can be redeemed at the Epic Games Store, GOG, Microsoft Store, Amazon’s own Games App, and other digital storefronts, are arguably worth the price of a membership alone.

In the weeks leading up to Prime Day, Amazon typically gives away even more free games on top of the monthly offers. That’s the case this year, too. Starting today, June 17, at 9 AM PT, Prime members can claim six free PC games, five of which are DRM-free GOG games.

Here’s the full list of freebies going live today, but Prime members should also make sure they claim the monthly free games for June, too.

Can I still get deals without Amazon Prime?

Technically, Prime Day deals are exclusive to members. In practice, however, there are many deals each year that don’t require a membership. These deals are mainly the ones Amazon is price-matching to compete with Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and other major retailers. These sorts of deals are fairly common for gaming and tech products, but there are still thousands of deals that are locked behind the membership each year.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake Shows Signs Of Life With Small Update

by admin June 17, 2025

Ubisoft has provided an update on its long-in-development remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. No, it’s not a release date, but it is confirmation that the game is, in fact, still happening.

A new post from the official Prince of Persia X account frankly states,

“Yep, we’re still deep in the game — exploring, building, and ensuring the sands move with purpose. This game is being crafted by a team that truly cares, and they’re pouring their hearts (and a lot of coffee) into every step. Thank you for sticking with us.”

Additionally, the post shares a new piece of artwork (posted in the header above).

It’s a rare update for the troubled title, which was first announced in September 2020. The remake of the 2003 classic was originally in development at Ubisoft’s Indian studios in Mumbai and Pune with a planned launch in early 2021. The game was initially billed as a ground-up remake with improved textures and lighting, modernized combat, new cinematics, and re-recorded dialogue from the original voice actors (including Prince actor Yuri Lowenthal).

A few months after its reveal, the game was delayed a few months, then postponed indefinitely. In 2022, development was transferred to Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind the original Sands of Time, which effectively reset its development. During Ubisoft Forward in 2024, the publisher announced a 2026 launch window for the remake, and it’s unclear what the new scope of its improvements will be.

When it was announced, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake was slated to launch on last-gen consoles and PC. It’s unclear if the game will still launch on those platforms, as one would imagine development would shift to current hardware. Until we learn more, you can watch us revisit the original game in this episode of Replay.  Be sure to also check out our review of the last Prince of Persia title, 2024’s The Lost Crown, here.  You can also read our preview for another upcoming spin-off, The Rogue Prince of Persia, which is slated to launch out of Early Access in August.

After five tumultuous years, Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake is now “deep” in development

by admin June 16, 2025

It’s now been five years since Ubisoft’s beleaguered Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake was originally revealed, and a little over a year since the publisher last popped up to remind us all the project was still alive. But here we are again, 12 months on, with another brief update, this time letting fans know the remake remains “deep” in development.

Ubisoft’s Sands of Time remake was initially unveiled back in September 2020, when it was expected to arrive in January the following year. However, after its announcement trailer was met with a less than positive reception, Ubisoft kicked off what would prove to be a succession of delays. Eventually, the project moved from its original developers Ubisoft Pune and Mumbai to Ubisoft Montreal, where it was seemingly rebooted from scratch, and last year brought the news it wouldn’t be ready for release until 2026.

But while it seemed like Ubisoft might opt for radio silence until its remake was finally ready for its big re-reveal, the publisher has instead shared the briefest of updates today on social media, a little over a year since its last one. “Yep, we’re still deep in the game,” it wrote, “exploring, building, and ensuring the sands move with purpose.”

Here’s what the Sands of Time remake looked like before it was rebooted from scratch.Watch on YouTube

“This game is being crafted by a team that truly cares,” it continued, “and they’re pouring their hearts (and a lot of coffee) into every step. Thank you for sticking with us.” And that’s pretty much all we’re getting for now, aside from an accompanying bit of art showing a glass palace against a pink sky. Ubisoft also pointed fans in the direction of series spin-off The Rogue Prince of Persia, from Dead Cells studio Evil Empire, which is set to leave early access this August.

Ubisoft’s Sands of Time remake woes have continued to a tumultuous few years for the publisher, which has faced tumbling share prices and a number of high-profile flops in recent times, resulting in a string of layoffs and studio closures. As part of its attempts to right the ship, Ubisoft announced it was launching a new subsidiary dedicated to its big three IPs – Assassin’s Creed, Rainbow Six, and Far Cry – earlier this year. With those game under a new banner, Ubisoft itself will concentrate on a number of key areas, including “nurturing the development of iconic franchises”, including – presumably – Prince of Persia.

Prince of Persia social media botch forces Ubisoft to promise once again that it’s still working on The Sands of Time

by admin June 16, 2025

In what seems like an entirely out-of-nowhere reminder, a surprise message on the Prince of Persia X account has popped up to promise everyone that yes, Ubisoft is still working on The Sands of Time “behind the scenes,” and no, it has nothing more to say about it. It’s all a bit odd, and almost entirely random, but scrolling back through the social media feed reveals that there is actually a good reason for the unprompted message—and by “good” I mean pretty silly.

First things first, a quick timeline on The Sands of Time Remake. It was originally supposed to be out in January 2021 but was delayed a couple months because “2020 has been a year like no other,” and boy, we really had no idea, did we?

Fair enough, then—and also a reminder of how long this whole thing has been dragging on—but another delay followed without a new release date—never a good sign—and then another, and eventually it got to the point where Ubisoft was reduced to promising the whole thing hadn’t been cancelled (but had been delayed (again)). There was a new studio, and more studios, a whole-ass reboot in mid-2023, a delay into 2026 with an unexplained title change, and honestly: Why is it so hard to make a game you already made 20 years ago?

Related articles

Anyway, I re-litigate all of this because it amuses me to do so, but also because the events leading up to today’s seemingly random missive on social media also have a timeline explaining why Ubisoft would just put this out for no apparent reason, which we will now dive into.

It begins on June 9, with the appearance of an ominous message: “Something is lurking in these waters,” words made even more noteworthy because of their appearance one year, almost to the day, after Ubisoft’s most recent Sands of Time update, the one where the “Remake” part of the title was dropped. Exciting stuff for those who noticed, but not many noticed because the message was quickly deleted.

This guy noticed, though.

It turned out the message that got Sands of Time hopefuls all worked up was in fact intended for the For Honor account, to tease the reveal of the next season:

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Something is lurking in these waters.. pic.twitter.com/7jFZw72c2hJune 9, 2025

Ubisoft copped to the whiff in short order.

Unfortunately, it didn’t help calm things down: Some fans were convinced Ubisoft really did have something to show, others begged for anything, and a few seemed to have simply reached their limit with the whole thing:

Which brings us to today’s update, posted just shy of a week after everything went sideways with a For Honor tease.

“Yep, we’re still deep in the game—exploring, building, and ensuring the sands move with purpose,” Ubisoft wrote. “This game is being crafted by a team that truly cares, and they’re pouring their hearts (and a lot of coffee) into every step. Thank you for sticking with us.

“While development continues behind the scenes, there’s another adventure waiting for you right now: The Rogue Prince of Persia—fast, stylish, and built with the same dedication.”

So there you have it: Yes, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is still in development, and no, there’s nothing to see here but a social media guy who probably didn’t have the best weekend ever. Sorry.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time does not have a release date yet, but for now it remains on target for sometime in 2026. We’ll see.

Kojima posts new line of Death Stranding 2 apparel, including shorts so you can have a good time On the Beach

by admin June 16, 2025

Hideo Kojima has taken to social media once again, this time to post a line-up of new Death Stranding 2 apparel. This includes socks, pants, and shorts for good times on the beach.

The post made on Kojima’s personal Bluesky account is a simple one. A single image showing a range of Death Stranding 2 merchandise including two shirts, six t-shirts, four shorts, four pants, and four pairs of socks.

Some feature the Death Stranding 2 logo as is the norm with video game apparel, though others are less obvious, with Drawbridge branding in place of any sort of gamey clothing. Some bright colours are present too, which could very well make a dent in a wardrobe full of black and grey.

Check out our video preview of Death Stranding 2 here!Watch on YouTube

As of writing there isn’t an official link to the Kojima Productions store for the clothing, nor does Kojima provide one in his personal post. It looks as though the founder of Kojima Productions is just giving folks online a tease of what’ll be available in the future.

Kojima Productions has a history of going all out when it comes to official apparel. Currently on the official website you can buy yourself a pricey Gresham Blake X Death Stranding tracksuit, as well as a variety of Hideo Kojima glasses. You can even drop an order for a Cryptobiote plushy, if you’re so inclined.

Death Stranding is set to launch on 26 June. Kojima recently stated he “wasn’t interested in appealing to a mass market”, though recent previews (including Eurogamer’s own) proved overwhelmingly popular).

Time To Long Bitcoin? Market Expert Reveals When $600,000 BTC Will Happen

by admin June 14, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Bitcoin is still trending above $100,000 despite the market crash triggered by the Israel-Iran war, but it has yet to dissuade investors from expecting higher prices. One of those who has called for higher prices is crypto market expert Ansem, who has called for higher Bitcoin prices. He lists out some major developments that could spur an increase in the price of the cryptocurrency, suggesting a possible 500% increase from here.

The $600,000 Bitcoin Target

In an analysis, crypto analyst Ansem, also known as blknoiz, gave reasons why he believes that the Bitcoin price could be headed. The first reason given for this is the fact that the likes of Michael Saylor’s Strategy continue to accumulate Bitcoin in large quantities. It is not the only company buying the asset, with others such as GameStop also joining the buying spree. This is expected to keep pushing the price of Bitcoin upwards as these companies are more likely to hold for a long time.

The second in the list of reasons is that there are growing global concerns when it comes to accessing stores of value not controlled by the government. Given BTC’s decentralized nature, it enables holders to have complete control, free of government oversight, as well as move value away from more fiat sources such as the US dollar and debt.

Next in the line is the fact that the gold market cap is above $23 trillion despite being an unlimited asset. In contrast, Bitcoin’s fixed supply of 21 million BTC, as well as its being able to be easily transferred across nation states, makes it a better store of value over the long term.

Source: TradingView

Macro Factors Supporting A Bitcoin Surge

Other macro factors that are contributing to the long-term bullishness of Bitcoin are the fact that there is improving regulatory oversight over the crypto market. This has brought the market toward the mainstream, with sentiment skewing toward the positive lately.

Bitcoin has also been able to shed off the tariff fears despite a massive sell-off triggering a 30% crash to $75,000 earlier in the year. It is currently still holding support above $100,000, showing strength here. This, coupled with the fact that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is moving to cut government spending, has made BTC a rather attractive asset to hold.

Given all of this, the crypto expert believes that the Bitcoin price could rise 500% to reach $600,000. This would put the digital asset at a market cap between $10 and $12 trillion, and the timeline for this is expected to be sometime in 2028.

Coinbase Predicts Crypto Surge in 2025, But Leverage May Be the Time Bomb

by admin June 14, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

The outlook for the crypto market in the second half of 2025 remains constructive, according to Coinbase Institutional, which highlights a mix of macroeconomic trends, improving regulatory clarity, and increasing corporate involvement as key tailwinds.

The firm’s report, authored by David Duong, Global Head of Research at Coinbase Institutional, outlines conditions favorable for further growth across the digital asset space, including a potential new all-time high for Bitcoin.

Factors such as anticipated Federal Reserve rate cuts, stabilizing economic indicators, and bipartisan legislative momentum around crypto policy contribute to the firm’s optimistic stance.

Still, Coinbase’s research acknowledges risks, particularly the rise of corporate entities using debt to accumulate digital assets. These leveraged strategies, while accelerating adoption, may also introduce structural vulnerabilities if liquidity conditions tighten or investor sentiment shifts.

With companies now able to report crypto at fair market value following rule changes from the Financial Accounting Standards Board in late 2024, balance sheets holding BTC and other digital assets are becoming more common. However, the use of convertible debt to fund such strategies presents concerns around potential selling pressure during periods of market stress.

Leveraged Corporate Strategies Raise Concerns About Market Stability

As of mid-2025, approximately 228 publicly traded firms collectively hold more than 820,000 BTC, according to data cited by Coinbase. Around 20 of those firms, and several others with exposure to Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, are pursuing leveraged acquisition strategies inspired by companies like Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy).

Duong notes that while these approaches have not yet created immediate instability, the lack of standardized funding models could become problematic over time.

If market conditions deteriorate or debt maturities approach, companies might be forced to sell large portions of their crypto reserves to meet obligations, potentially amplifying volatility.

Outstanding debt of select corporates. | Source: Coinbase institutional

Coinbase estimates that most of the outstanding debt from these firms won’t mature until 2029 or later, which may help mitigate short-term risk. Additionally, if loan-to-value ratios remain moderate, the companies involved may still have access to refinancing or liquidity management options that reduce the likelihood of urgent asset liquidations.

However, Duong cautions that systemic vulnerabilities remain difficult to track, and broader corporate interest in this model continues to grow, leaving open questions about how resilient these strategies will be under future market pressure.

Regulatory Developments and Broader Outlook

The US regulatory environment is also evolving, with pending legislation such as the GENIUS, STABLE, and CLARITY Acts potentially reshaping the crypto market by August.

These bills aim to clarify oversight roles between the SEC and CFTC, define stablecoin standards, and provide guardrails for institutional and retail engagement.

Meanwhile, the SEC is reviewing roughly 80 crypto ETF applications, ranging from staking-enabled products to single-asset altcoin funds, with decisions expected between July and October.

Coinbase concludes that while risks are present, especially from leveraged players, the long-term trajectory for Bitcoin remains upward. The firm expects broader macro trends, institutional adoption, and regulatory progress to support continued expansion through the end of 2025, with select altcoins also positioned to benefit based on project-specific fundamentals.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time gets a visual boost thanks to Switch 2 update

by admin June 14, 2025

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has received an update that offers visual improvements when played on the Switch 2, a nice bonus for fans who want to pick up and play the RPG on the new console.

These improvements include graphic enhancements such as new shadow and reflection efforts, as well as an extension to the distance objects are rendered at. For example, you can now see a forest off into the distance clearly, whereas before it may have looked like a low-poly blur of green shrubbery.

In the official update blog post uploaded to the games’ official website, we see that exact example in a side-by-side comparison, as well as a pair of screenshots showing water effects on the Switch vs the Switch 2. Water now has lovely reflections of light on it. A little thing for some, but a little boost for those willing to make the leap to a new console, cosy RPG in hand.

You can check out an official Fantasy Life I trailer here!Watch on YouTube

Other features of this update include an automatic lock-on feature that should make combat a little easier, as well as an adjustment to the Hagram build feature allowing players to press the cancel button and return a moved object to its original position.

God’s Touch was adjusted too! It can now be cancelled by attacking or dodging, plus the button assigned to activating God’s Touch has been relocated on the game pad. Game pad users also have an increased selection of key configurations, and all players can benefit from a new depth of field graphical option.

For those unaware, Fantasy Life i; The Girl Who Steals Time is a very popular RPG that got off to an outstanding start, selling 500,000 copies in just three days. In response to this success, the developers offered free DLCthat included new recipes and expanded content earlier this year.
