Surprise Unity Exploit Gets Pillars Of Eternity 2 And More Yanked From Steam

by admin October 3, 2025

Obsidian Entertainment is pulling Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, Pentiment, and more from Steam and other digital storefronts on Friday after Unity, the game engine used to make them, was revealed to have a years-old security flaw. The company behind it is now urging developers to update their games to avoid any issues.

“A security vulnerability was identified that affects games and applications built on Unity versions 2017.1 and later for Android, Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems,” former Xbox mascot Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb wrote on the Unity forum earlier today. “There is no evidence of any exploitation of the vulnerability, nor has there been any impact on users or customers.”

Hryb added that the company “proactively provided fixes that address the vulnerability, and they are already available to all developers” and is encouraging all of them to update their products as soon as possible. Windows, Steam, and others already implemented fixes at the platform level today. Now some studios are taking their games down while they get them patched. One of them is Grounded 2 maker Obsidian Entertainment.

A security vulnerability affecting our games that use Unity has recently been identified.

“As a precaution and to keep you safe, we have temporarily removed the following titles and products from digital storefronts while we implement the necessary updates to address the issue,” it wrote on X. In addition to Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire and Pentiment, it also includes certain versions of Grounded 2 and Avowed which include artbooks made with Unity.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the studio wrote. “Our team is working on a fix and will restore these games as soon as possible. We will provide additional information once they are available again. We also encourage players who have already downloaded these games to update them as soon as a patch becomes available.”

Hey everyone,

We’ve rolled out a quick patch to address the Unity security vulnerability.

Your saves and gameplay are safe! Just hit update and you’re covered. And if you haven’t joined yet, No Rest for the Wicked is 30% off on Steam right now. This is the perfect moment to…

Other developers have also started rolling out updates, some without temporarily removing their games from digital store shelves. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire and Pentiment, both great games, were currently discounted for Steam’s autumn sale. Hopefully, they’re back soon.

Street Fighter 6 director shares surprise at Capcom’s controversial decision to charge pay-per-view for its esports finals

by admin October 3, 2025

Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama has shared his surprise at Capcom’s decision to charge for the game’s upcoming esports tournament finals and has apologised “for any concern this may have caused”.

At last week’s Tokyo Game Show, Capcom revealed the finals for its Tokyo-based Capcom Cup and Street Fighter League 2025 World Championship would be viewable globally online only via a pay-per-view model, when usually fans can watch for free across YouTube and Twitch.

The finals for both the Capcom Cup 12 Finals and SFL World Championship will cost ¥4,000 each (around £20), or a bundle of both is available for ¥6,000 (around £30). The earlier qualifying rounds remain free.

The prices are comparable to being in the venue in-person, though prices range from ¥2,000 (£10) to ¥20,000 (£100) for SSS box seats.

The decision has been met by considerable backlash, but now the game’s director has responded on social media.

A fan asked Nakayama if it was strange that Capcom’s esports division and the Street Fighter 6 development team seem so disconnected.

“It may sound strange, but it’s true,” he said. “Revenue targets and assigned tasks differ fundamentally by department.”

He continued: “Even the development team was surprised by this announcement (At least Matsumoto and I were shocked at the venue). That said, since this matter occurred within the same company, we are currently discussing it. We apologise for any concern this may have caused.”

In a later response, Nakayama joked: “If I get scolded at work, I will delete the above comment.” Fans certainly appreciated his transparency, at least.

In response to Capcom’s announcement, one user asked: “Isn’t the whole point of Capcom Cup, CPT, and the prize pool supposed to be, y’know… marketing for the game? Why would you PPV gate that?”

The countdown begins. Tickets for #CAPCOMCUP12 drop soon on Oct. 10!

Starting this season, CAPCOM CUP 12 Finals (Mar.14) and SFL: World Championship (Mar. 15) will stream live via Pay-per-view. Free replays will drop Mar. 21 (CC12) & Mar. 22 (SFL:WC). *Pay-per-view tickets will… pic.twitter.com/CrPI1EzXSq

Another noted the Street Fighter League Japanese Finals last year were also pay-per-view, adding “Unfortunately the rest of the world does not have japans culture. This will be the biggest pr nightmare for your brand. Good luck with that.”

The combined event will take place next year, collectively from 11th – 15th March.

3,859,993,178 SHIB Shorts Liquidated in Surprise Crypto Rebound: What’s Next?

by admin September 29, 2025

Crypto markets rebounded over the weekend as short covering fueled gains across altcoins.

Major altcoins, including Shiba Inu, have climbed in the last 24 hours, partially reversing last week’s sell-off. About $433.28 million in crypto liquidations were recorded in this time frame, mostly from short positions. According to CoinGlass data, $330 million were liquidated in short positions, while longs came in at $104.76 million.

At press time, SHIB was trading up 3% in the last 24 hours to $0.00001209. Shiba Inu surged to a high of $0.00001224 during Sunday’s trading session.

The move follows Saturday’s drop to a low of $0.00001172, catching shorts unaware. According to CoinGlass data, 3,859,993,178 SHIB in short positions have been liquidated in the last 24 hours.

Given that Shiba Inu has seen mixed price performance in recent hours, a substantial amount of long liquidations also occurred. A total of $91,880 in Shiba Inu positions were liquidated in the last 24 hours. Longs accounted for $46,310, and shorts came in at $45,570.

Big week ahead?

This week, investors are looking ahead to several economic releases, including a key jobs report.

The highlight of the week will be the nonfarm payrolls for September, set to be released on Friday morning by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Economists expect Friday’s jobs report to show 59,000 jobs added, and for the unemployment rate to remain steady at 4.3%, with a negative reading not being ruled out.

The report is expected to influence the path of monetary policy, with traders pricing in two more interest rate cuts for the rest of 2025, in line with what the Fed indicated in its last meeting.

Yakuza Kiwami 3

Yakuza Kiwami 3 might not be a surprise, but Kiryu’s new Ryukyu move set certainly is

by admin September 25, 2025

I went hands-on with the recently revealed Yakuza Kiwami 3, and my first thought was that the game felt like a refreshingly grounded experience. Especially off the back of the madcap Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and the irreverent turn-based shenanigans of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a modern remake of Yakuza 3, which was originally released for PlayStation 3 back in 2009. An action RPG with a heavy emphasis on brutal fist fighting combat and a strong element of virtual tourism thanks to developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios’ faithfully realistic map design, you’ll do everything from taking down goons in the street to solving the problems of the local populace via heart warming side quests.

And when you’re not uncovering political and criminal conspiracies in the main story, you’re more than welcome to take a break by partaking in Kamurocho or Okinawa’s many delights. That includes darts, pool, shogi, or partaking in Club Sega’s many arcade games.

The original Yakuza 3 is the only game in the series that I hadn’t previously played, but I’m loving Kiwami 3’s glow-up so far. As with previous Kiwami titles, there’s plenty new on offer here besides a graphical upgrade, so let’s dive in.

Ryukyu master

The Yakuza Kiwami 3 demo I played began with a cutscene close to the start of the game. As in the original, protagonist Kazuma Kiryu travels to Okinawa in order to save the orphanage he runs from criminal interests. After a brief tutorial fight, which also introduces the brand new Ryukyu fighting style, we’re unleashed on the streets of the island prefecture.

Kiryu is able to swap between two distinct move sets in combat. His traditional style is accompanied by the new Ryukyu style, inspired by Okinawan martial arts. Ryukyu employs eight (yes, eight) different weapons and/or household objects, all assigned to their own button. For example, pressing Triangle (heavy attack) can swipe groups of foes with a large oar. Meanwhile, holding Circle (usually the grab button) makes Kiryu swing a flail in a wide area. And that’s just surface level stuff, as Kiryu also has nunchaku, tonfa, tekko and more at his disposal.

Some of these can be chained together for various combos, going from weapon to weapon as you dish out damage, though I didn’t quite have enough time to figure out the most optimal combinations. Ultimately, Kiryu’s ‘Dragon of Dojima’ style feels better configured to single-target fights, while Ryukyu is effective at keeping multiple foes at bay. Like Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, this dual style system supports swapping between both at any time during combat.

Sign up for breaking news, reviews, opinion, top tech deals, and more.

Ryukyu is great fun, and certainly different from Kiryu’s usual repertoire, being a guy who typically answers calls to combat with his fists. Then again, Ryukyu feels like a wonderful complement to Yakuza 3’s shift in tone. Especially for Kiryu, who attempts to lead a quieter, rustic life at the orphanage.

Keeping busy

Combat isn’t everything in Yakuza Kiwami 3, though, and it wouldn’t feel quite like a Yakuza game without dozens of optional side activities. In an utterly wonderful pang of late 2000s nostalgia, Kiryu owns a stylish flip phone that you can customize with stickers, rhinestones, color schemes, and wallpapers.

You can change up Kiryu’s look at clothing stores, too. As in Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, you’re able to save several sets of clothes here, from the casual to the completely ridiculous. And fear not, if you’re not keen on Kiryu’s default Hawaiian shirt getup, you can change into his iconic suit at any time.

You may like

As for other side activities, the Club Sega arcade returns. It has the usual UFO Catcher machines (which are still an absolute scam, by the way), as well as a handful of classic Sega arcade titles. In Kiwami 3, there’s nothing new here – with the selection being pulled from Judgment – but it’s a great little set in Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, and Motor Raid.

Elsewhere, you’ve got the usual Yakuza suspects of golf, darts, billiards, and of course, karaoke. I didn’t have time to sample every single one here, but you can likely expect them to be their usual implementations here, perhaps with a few spins on the formula as we saw with Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

Overall, my time with Yakuza Kiwami 3 was unfortunately quite short, but it’s made a great first impression. Visually, the game is looking fantastic, though I certainly can’t help but feel that daytime Okinawa looks just a little washed out. It could’ve been the monitor I played the game on, but this may be one you want to tone down the brightness on a touch or two.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is set to launch on February 12, 2026 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

It’ll be accompanied by the all-new Dark Ties game which comes bundled with Kiwami 3 and offers an original story with fan-favorite Yoshitaka Mine as the protagonist.

‘Am I Too Late to Invest’ in Crypto? This Wall Street Bank’s Answer Might Surprise You

by admin September 21, 2025

Crypto, like the early days of the internet boom, is still in a “1996” phase with more room to grow, Jefferies analysts told large institutional investors in a client Q&A report.

The investment bank, which launched full coverage of the digital assets sector in September, said it is getting strong and diverse interest from its clients. One of the main questions that analysts are fielding is, “Am I too late to invest?” to which the analysts, led by Andrew Moss, have answered, “Relative to the internet, it’s 1996 for the digital asset ecosystem, and the next leg of growth has just begun.”

By drawing parallels to “1996,” Jefferies paints a powerful and specific picture of Wall Street during the early days of the Internet — one that implies that crypto’s next leg of growth has only just begun.

The bank is referring to an era when the Internet was just hitting the mainstream. Netscape Navigator was battling Internet Explorer for dominance, Amazon was a fledgling online bookstore a year away from its IPO, and Google’s search engine wouldn’t even exist for another two years.

Jefferies’ rationale for this “still early” thesis is that only a handful of traditional funds currently have exposure to the crypto industry, but that’s changing — and that’s a good sign.

“Many are actively developing investment strategies and determining how to allocate funds across tokens, ETFs, digital asset treasury companies (DATs) and public companies with exposure,” Moss wrote in a research note last week.

Not just BTC

So, where do Jefferies analysts see this opportunity for institutional investors? Spoiler alert: It’s not just bitcoin and blockchain’s original payments use case. Rather, analysts said, investors should look beyond that.

“Our view is that too much focus on bitcoin and BTC’s price will distract from blockchain technology’s disruption potential across industries,” the analysts wrote.

Jefferies noted that clients are considering exchange-traded funds and digital asset treasury (DATs) companies to gain exposure to the sector, and the bank’s analysts see this as a potential short-term bull case. ETFs might remove the final barrier for institutional investments, while DATs could also drive demand for tokens, as these treasury companies are actively and continuously buying up tokens for which they have raised capital.

The $1 trillion public market

ETFs and DATs aside, Jefferies sees more long-term bull cases in the digital asset sector: tokenization and initial public offerings (IPOs).

With more financial institutions tokenizing assets to enable 24/7 trading and real-time settlement, the Jefferies analysts see “a paradigm shift” in blockchain network activity, higher transaction volume and greater value for tokenholders, which could accelerate the next leg of digital asset growth.

And then there are initial public offerings (IPOs), a trend that has picked up steam this cycle, which has seen several companies, including Circle, Bullish (CoinDesk’s parent company), and Gemini, going public.

Jefferies expects this trend to only pick up in the next 18-24 months and balloon to a massive market in the next five years.

While exchanges were first to go public, the bank sees a go-public opportunity for distributed ledger developers, tokenization platforms, custodians, token on-off ramps, stablecoin issuers, analytics companies, institutional trading and staking platforms, fund managers and prime brokers.

“We reiterate our expectation for 10-15 IPOs over the next 18-24 months and a $1 [trillion] public market sector over the next 5 years,” the analysts wrote.

Playbook as old as dot-com era

Driving home the parallel of the 1996 internet era, the firm’s advice to clients asking how to invest echoes the lessons of the early Internet: be selective and focus on lasting utility.

The analysts pointed out that only six of the top 20 tokens from January 2018 remain in the top 20 today — a dynamic similar to the dot-com era, when early leaders like AltaVista and Lycos were eventually displaced.

A great divergence is expected to continue as capital shifts from speculative assets to tokens that power real applications. The playbook, Jefferies suggests, is to analyze tokens like early-stage tech startups, prioritizing “adoption, development, usage and use case” over fleeting revenue spikes of some blockchains.

$40M in Crypto Seized With No Charges, Reason Will Surprise You

by admin September 20, 2025

  • $40 million seized from TradeOgre exchange while charges “may follow”: What we know so far
  • Authorities keep cracking down on privacy coins

Royal Canadian Mounted Police seized cryptocurrency funds of TradeOgre, a niche cryptocurrency exchange operating since 2018. Since there are no filed criminal charges, this might be the first case for Canada’s law enforcers to shut down the crypto service.

$40 million seized from TradeOgre exchange while charges “may follow”: What we know so far

Last week, over 56 million Canadian dollars (CAD), or about $40 million, were seized by Royal Canadian Mounted Police from TradeOgre, an exchange known among privacy coin traders. As per the press release, law enforcers also “dismantled” the crypto exchange for the first time in Canada’s history.

At the same time, the funds were transferred to RCMP crypto wallets with no arrest warrant or court order. As explained by the police, investigators have reason to believe that the majority of funds transacted on TradeOgre came from criminal sources.

Formally, the exchange was shut down with $40 million in BTC and ETH seized for two reasons. First, TradeOgre operated in Canada without being registered with Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a money service business.

Also, the exchange did not require its customers to submit “know-your-customer” documents, making anonymous crypto transfers possible.

The main attraction of this type of platform, which doesn’t require users to identify themselves to make an account, is that it hides the source of funds. This is a common tactic used by criminal organizations that launder money

Thus, this might be one of the first cases of a crypto service being shut down for not implementing KYC checks.

The investigation against the exchange was started in June 2024 after RCMP received a notice from the anti-money-laundering unit of Europol.

Authorities keep cracking down on privacy coins

The law enforcers are analyzing the data seized from TradeOgre and “charges may follow soon,” the statement goes.

For thousands of traders, TradeOgre remained the place to buy and sell privacy-focused coins, largely Monero (XMR).

As covered by U.Today previously, privacy coins are under fire, especially when offered on centralized exchanges. The architecture of these cryptocurrencies prevents them from being tracked by third parties — nobody can check the recipient, volume and other details of transactions with privacy coins.

‘The Long Walk’ Star Garrett Wareing on His Character’s Big Surprise

by admin September 16, 2025

Now that The Long Walk is in theaters, members of its ensemble cast are free to talk spoilers. The movie, based on Stephen King’s story, revolves around a literal death march, so it’s not surprising that not all of the stars make it to the finish line. The brutal twists come with what order they go down—and at least one other surprising nuggets shared along the way.

In a new interview with Deadline, Garrett Wareing, who plays Billy Stebbins, talked about his experiences on the film as well as what happens to his character.

Eventually, it’s revealed to the audience and Billy’s fellow walkers that he is actually the illegitimate son of the Major (Mark Hamill), the cruel overseer of the titular march. He puts up a tough front, but it becomes clear Billy has got a different level of investment in the competition than the other boys.

“His dream, his goal, is to meet his father and for [his father] to be this hero that he idolized his whole life,” Wareing told Deadline. “I think that he goes into the walk thinking that this is a necessary thing, this is a good thing. And throughout the course, he begins to see the brutality that exists along something like this. And maybe he begins to see it for what it is, not necessarily [as] what it’s pitched to [be to] these young boys in the nation.”

In the book, Stebbins comes in second place. In the movie, he’s third, a twist that allows for The Long Walk‘s poignant final moments between Ray (Cooper Hoffman) and Peter (David Jonsson)—and Peter getting his wish-fulfillment part of the prize, which is killing the Major.

There’s no happy ending for Stebbins and his father, but Wareing did tell Deadline how much he enjoyed working with Hamill. And yes, Star Wars came up.

“One of the first times I interacted with Mark in the makeup trailer, he made the brilliant connection to Star Wars by saying, ‘you know, here on page 96 (or whatever page it was), there’s a bit of an “I am your father” moment when your character reveals that the Major is his father.’ And we both laughed. It was quite fitting that Luke had now become the father and in turn, I had now become Luke speaking to Vader.”

The Long Walk is now in theaters.

Silksong’s surprise release was “a little callous”, says Hell is Us creative director

by admin September 16, 2025

Hell is Us creative director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête called the surprise release of Hollow Knight: Silksong “a little callous”, believing it had an impact on his game’s sales.

Rogue Factor’s adventure game was already locked in for its release ahead of Team Cherry’s announcement, but the two games eventually released on the same day.

“When you know you’re that big, I think a shadow drop is a bit like – wow,” said Jacques-Belletête on Skill Up’s Friends Per Second podcast. “As the ‘GTA 6 of indie’… to shadow drop something like this is a little callous.”

Hell is Us Review: Death Stranding meets… ZELDA?Watch on YouTube

After Team Cherry’s announcement, the Hell is Us development team discussed with publisher Nacon whether to change the date. “It was a real thing,” said Jacques-Belletête.

However, the “real pain in the ass”, Jacques-Belletête explained, is that changing release date means refunding pre-orders. And while that wasn’t a deciding factor, the team believed they could weather the storm.

Still, Jacques-Belletête admitted Silksong’s release did impact the launch of Hell is Us. “I don’t have any specific numbers,”he said, “at least not at this time. But for sure it did.”

Above all, Jacques-Belletête highlighted the difficulties of finding an appropriate release window in the current climate.

“That’s the thing nowadays, honestly – getting a window where you’re pretty much alone is almost impossible,” he said. “15 years ago, the mid-end of the summer was always a dead period. But there’s no such thing anymore. It’s just constant madness.”

Plenty of games did change their release date in the wake of Silksong’s launch, including Demonschool and Baby Steps.

“Hell is Us is an absorbing, nightmarish meditation on the horror of war, but divisive design choices prove tedious,” reads our Hell is Us review.

Hollow Knight: Silksong launch breaks global game storefronts

Hollow Knight: Silksong’s surprise release date was “a little callous,” says Hell is Us lead

by admin September 15, 2025

Hell is Us’ creative director, Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, has described Team Cherry’s surprise reveal of Hollow Knight: Silksong’s release date just two weeks before its launch as “a little callous.”

As reported by This Week in Videogames, Jacques-Belletête appeared in the most recent episode of Skill Up’s Friends Per Second podcast, where he discussed his and Rogue Factor’s experience releasing soulslike Hell is Us on the same day that Hollow Knight: Silksong was released, having had only two weeks’ notice that both games would release on September 4, 2025.

“We all jumped on our phones really quickly, with our publisher [Nacon] and all sorts of things like that,” Jacques-Belletête said, describing the moment the studio discovered Team Cherry had unexpectedly announced Hollow Knight: Silksong’s long-awaited release date in a trailer posted on August 21, 2025.

“I mean, they’re allowed to do what they did; there’s no laws or rules against that,” he continued. “And I don’t want to say: ‘they caused this to us or somebody else’. I don’t really care about that. I don’t want to get into that type of debate.

“But when you know you’re that big, a shadow drop is a bit like ‘wow.’

“As the GTA 6 of indie – and I know now this term gets thrown left and right, but in the industry that’s already how we were calling such a game – to shadow drop something like this is a little callous.”

Hell is Us was first announced in April 2022, with a release window slated for the following year. In October 2023, Rogue Factor announced the game was delayed until 2025, with its final September 2025 release date revealed during Sony’s State of Play livestream in February 2025.

After learning about Team Cherry’s plans to release Hollow Knight: Silksong on the same day, Rogue Factor “decided to keep the date,” said Jacques-Belletête. “And I’m happy that we did.”

“We’re still much bigger than some of the smaller [studios] who would have [been] a lot more affected and decided to change their dates,” he continued. “Changing the date of Hell is Us would have been a pretty big endeavour.”

When asked whether changing Hell is Us’ release date would have been feasible, Jacques-Belletête explained that “the real pain in the ass” of doing so was that the studio would have had to reimburse and refund player pre-orders.

He did clarify, however, that the decision to keep the date was not “just” because of this.

“We were also like ‘no, I think we can get through the storm’. But it was a thing.”

“That day, a lot of emails, texts, and messages went back and forth between a lot of people, between us and our publisher,” he continued. “It was a real thing.”

Hollow Knight: Silksong surpassed half a million concurrent players following its launch, while Hell is Us’ all-time peak concurrent player count stands at 4,431 (according to SteamDB).

When asked whether he believes Hollow Knight: Silksong’s release impacted Hell is Us’ performance, Jacques-Belletête said: “I can’t prove it, I don’t have any specific numbers, at least not at this time. But, I mean, for sure. For sure it did.”

Jacques-Belletête did emphasise, however, that “it’s not just Silksong” that had an impact on Hell is Us’ release, pointing to Bloober Team’s Cronos: The New Dawn, released on September 5, 2025, as an example of another title released during the same period. “It was busy.”

“That’s the thing nowadays, getting a window where you’re pretty much alone is almost impossible,” Jacques-Belletête continued.

“15 years ago, kind of the mid to end of the summer was always a dead period. But there’s no such thing anymore. It’s constant madness.

‘Red Hood’ Writer Speaks Out on Book’s Surprise Cancellation

by admin September 13, 2025

Earlier this week, DC Comics abruptly cancelled its new Red Hood comic from trans writer Gretchen Felker-Martin and artist Jeff Spokes. The decision came after Felker-Martin posted comments and jokes on social media about the assassination of prominent right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, which occurred on the same day—September 10—as the comic’s launch. DC Comics said in a statement that social media posts “that can be viewed as promoting hostility or violence are inconsistent with [our] standards of conduct.”

Now, in a new interview with the Comics Journal, Felker-Martin opened up about her posts and DC’s decision. She argued that DC had had no issue with her outspoken and sometimes incendiary social media presence when it approached her about doing a comic in 2024.

She recalled how she told the publisher at the time that it would “get between five and a hundred of the craziest people you’ve ever met in your life, screaming for my head and yours.” She went on to say that initially DC had given her “no terms or limitations” on her social media; a DC spokesperson reiterated to io9 the company’s previous stance on not abiding by posts that “promote hostility or violence.”

In the weeks leading up to Red Hood’s launch, past social media posts made by Felker-Martin on charged political topics, including the Israel-Gaza war, resurfaced. Felker-Martin told the Comics Journal that it was at this point that she received pushback on her social media activities; a spokesperson for DC confirmed this to the Comics Journal, saying the company requested Felker-Martin be more mindful of her online statements. Felker-Martin claimed she generally abided by that request until the day of Kirk’s murder.

The author said she stood by her comments about Kirk while expressing sympathy for her Red Hood co-creators, which include Spokens, cover artist Taurin Clarke and editors Arianna Turturro and Rob Levin. “I can only put it down to really just a moment of poor impulse control,” she told the Comics Journal. “Had I thought for another second, of course I would’ve known [that it would be a problem for DC], and naturally, as soon as I had said it, I did know.”

Felker-Martin also stressed that she did not want to work with DC Comics in the future: “I have no desire to be part of any organization that wants to pretend that people like Charlie Kirk are decent human beings who deserve respect.”

io9 has also reached out to Felker-Martin and will update this post if and when we hear back.
