Amazon Hits Meta Hard, the Quest 3S VR Bundle Just Got Suddenly a Lot Cheaper

by admin October 6, 2025

Virtual reality is slowly carving out its place in the tech world, but let’s be honest: it’s still a niche market. If you’re curious about VR and mixed reality, dropping $4,000 on an Apple Vision Pro that has limited content and unclear use cases doesn’t make much sense. Your better bet is going with the company that’s been all-in on VR from the beginning: Meta.

The Quest 3S represents the most affordable entry point into Meta’s VR ecosystem, and for Prime Big Deal Day, Amazon is offering an exclusive Cardboard Hero Bundle at $299: This package includes the headset plus the Handiwork Helmet, Handiwork Armor, and 1,000 shiny rocks for Gorilla Tag, adding $45 worth of in-game content to sweeten the deal + three months of Meta Horizon Plus at no cost.

Mixed Reality That Actually Makes Sense

The Quest 3S bridges the gap between pure virtual reality and the real world through mixed reality capabilities. This means you can blend digital objects into your actual environment, playing games where virtual characters interact with your furniture or working on multiple virtual screens while still seeing your room. The headset uses passthrough cameras to show you your surroundings in high-definition resolution, which makes the experience feel natural rather than disorienting. You can dial up the immersion and go full VR when you want complete escapism, or keep your environment visible when you need to stay aware of your surroundings.

Meta also fitted the Quest 3S with the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 platform which provides twice the Quest 2’s graphics performance. This means less stuttering in highly demanding games and sharper in-game detail that enhances the realism of virtual worlds. Better processing power also allows smoother operation of experiences that would stutter or lag in older headsets for a better immersion even in long gaming sessions or highly detailed virtual worlds.

The home theater-like effect in itself is worth thepurchase for some users. You get to make whatever room is available your own in-home cinema by darkening your space and watching content on a giant and colorful virtual screen. You’re essentially getting a 100-inch TV that only exists in your headset. You plug in your USB-C headphones for the 3D-like sounds, or use your regular 3.5mm headphones with your USB-C adapter (available separately) and this is perfect for watching movies.

Physical activities feel comfortable due to the wireless freedom and compact nature: Virtual exercises put your heart rate up with no cables limiting your mobility, and full-body games make your whole living room your playground. Touch Plus Controllers deliver realistic feedback and precise pinch and tilt for games involving fine motor controls and hand tracking enables you to move menus and interact with content with your hands alone.

Meta included strong parental controls within the system so that you could control screen time, see daily use, and assign permissions for your household members. You could also initiate multiple user profiles and sharing accounts for content, so it is simple for all household members to have their own customized experience. Accounts for users who are 10 years and older are turned on and special safety recommendations are on hand online.

Your membership entitles you to three months of Meta Horizon Plus at no cost which entitles you to immediate access to a seasonal game library, monthly content drops, and special experiences. You get to test the library in VR for free without additional purchases right away, subject only to eligibility and auto-renewing terms.
At just $299 for the special bundle, the Quest 3S is an affordable portal to VR and mixed reality at just a tiny fraction of the price of competition in headsets.

Shiba Inu Volume Suddenly up 26,691% on Kraken, Here's Likely Reason

Shiba Inu Volume Suddenly up 26,691% on Kraken, Here’s Likely Reason

by admin October 1, 2025

Shiba Inu has seen a sudden hourly volume surge on Kraken, rising +26,691.75%. According to CoinGlass data, the SHIBUSDT spot trading pair on Kraken saw a 26,691% volume surge in the last hour to come in at $58,690.

While the reason for the spike remains unknown, there are a few likely reasons. A surge in trading volume most often reflects traders’ positioning.

Shiba Inu has seen a price surge in recent hours, posting a large “marubozu candle” at one point on its hourly chart, which took its price from $0.00001186 to $0.00001223.

The Marubozu candlestick pattern represents one that has no shadows, indicating high market pressure. It indicates that the price traded in one strong direction.

A green marubozu candlestick in the case of Shiba Inu suggests strong buying pressure accompanied by a major increase in trading volumes.

In the last 24 hours, Shiba Inu’s total spot trading volume has increased to $206.09 million, according to CoinMarketCap data.

12,733,930,024 SHIB shorts liquidated in positive October start

At press time, SHIB was up 4.9% in the last 24 hours to $0.00001231, marking a positive start to October.

Shiba Inu fell for two straight days at September’s close to hit a low of $0.00001155 on Sept. 30. The first day of October saw a significant SHIB price rise from $0.00001176 to $0.00001236. The price move caught shorts or traders betting on a further SHIB price drop unawares, leading to significant short liquidation.

According to CoinGlass data, 12,733,930,024 SHIB  short positions have been liquidated in the last 24 hours. This accounts for the majority, or $156,500 out of the total liquidation figure of $173,210, in the past day.

Reach feels like Blood & Truth meets Mirror’s Edge – until it suddenly doesn’t

by admin September 18, 2025

The prologue chapter to nDreams’s upcoming ‘cinematic action adventure game’, Reach, is an absolute banger. It kicks off with some fluid parkour action as you learn to leap over boxes and clamber up walls inside a volumous warehouse. Then it gives you a magical bow and asks you to take out multiple armed enemies all whilst a helicopter spits missiles and machine gun fire at you from overhead.

It’s exhilarating stuff and the high adrenaline climax to the level features a full speed sprint through exploding buildings and across roof tops. To me it felt like a heady mix of Blood & Truth and Mirror’s Edge. But as soon as that section ends (with a lovely, unexpected twist, I might add) the game becomes something different, and it feels like it might be to its detriment.

Watch me play through 15 minutes of the Reach demo in this episode of VR Corner!Watch on YouTube

Before I get into that though, it’s worth pointing out that Reach is a brand new game from publisher nDreams’s new development studio nDreams Elevation. nDreams has previously release one of my favourite ever VR games, Synapse, along with Fracked, a short-lived action game that I also really enjoyed. This meant that I went into Reach with high expectations so perhaps, in hindsight, I was setting myself up for a little fall. Which I guess is appropriate seeing as there’s loads of climbing in Reach…

In terms of visuals, Reach starts off with an impressive vista that stretches across a mountainside littered with tall buildings and shack-like slums. We see cable cars trundling off towards some snow capped peaks in the distance, teasing an action epic that takes place across this busy landscape. But tease is the operative word here because that never actually happens. Or at least didn’t in the four chapter demo I played. The prologue does have some of this in there, but as soon as it ended I was skipped forward a level or two to find our protagonist, Rosa, trapped underground after a mysterious earthquake sent gravity on a weird one.

Time slows when you activate your grapple so, with a bit of practice, you can chain together pulls so you can fly between green grapple points without touching the ground.

This section features some really cool, Uncharted-style moments of perilous climbing, and a few fun moments where you can play with floating props, but it was clear that the pace established in the first chapter was slowing down slightly. Visually, it was interesting but never highly polished. Collapsed buildings gave way beneath me and crumbling roads dropped cars on my head, but they were all fairly simple models, with basic flat textures. That’s not to say that non-photo realistic graphics look bad – Synapse had about three colours and minimal textures, but it was still super stylish. Reach however just looks fine.

After this section, Rosa ends up in an underground city, built by a race of ‘Living Statues’, and it’s here where the pace really falls off a cliff. Upon reaching a level called The Workshop, I brought one of these Living Statues back to life. He was a jaunty, bearded chap called Atlas and he proceeded to exposition at me for about fifteen minutes, inbetween teaching me about some new, magical kit that he’d gifted me. This included an, admittedly, very cool Captain America style shield that you can use to hit enemies or lodge into specific sections of walls in order to clamber up them, a pair of gauntlets that show your health and items on your wrist and a chest-mounted healing device powered by mushrooms.

Following this, things picked up a little and I encountered a fun puzzle section that combined climbing and bow shooting in order to unlock a door. It was a great showcase of Reach’s physicality – climbing is precise and responsive, movement is smooth and fluid and the archery feels nice and accurate. It was a very satisfying puzzle to solve, as was another later on that featured a huge rotating statue which utilised another new gadget, a sci-fi style grappling hook.

In my review of Synapse, I said it made everything you do in it feel effortlessly cool. In Reach you definitely still feel cool but everything, including jumping, takes a bit more effort to master.

These puzzle rooms added a much needed bit of variety into the underground city which, judging by the trailers only, seems to be where the bulk of this game is set. And that’s my main problem with Reach. Instead of being an action epic set above ground in a big city, over jagged mountain tops and on wobbly cable cars as the introduction suggested, the bulk of the game looks to takes place in a series of really quite bland and beige underground tunnels. Repetitive structures and barely furnished rooms give the game a generic, Xbox 360 era sci-fi shooter look to it, and none of this is helped by some really boring enemy encounters.

In the final level I played in the demo, which featured a few combat arenas and areas for stealthly takedowns, my foes were an assortment of cut-and-paste robot warriors. They sucked up arrows with minimal reactions to their impact and then just flipped and faded away once their health hit zero. Compared to way the human enemies in the prologue collapsed onto the floor, slammed into scenery or dramatically tumbled from windows, killing the robot enemies felt weightless and slow. Even with the added ability to fling myself around the level like a Poundland Spider-man with my new grapple hook power, I soon became bored by the grind.

Bouncing the shield around was a lot of fun, but fighting these robots was not.

Here’s hoping that later levels in Reach can bring back the excitement that I felt during the prologue because, by the end of my hour long demo, I was already tiring of the underground location and the enemies within. I still enjoyed my time with the game, don’t get me wrong, but after playing through the thrilling opening and the nail-biting anti-gravity climbing section, the rest of the demo felt like an anti-climax that plodded along. I’m slightly worried that it might retain that pace right up until the ending.

With October 16th listed on Steam, and with the game releasing on Quest 3/3s and PlayStation VR2, at least it won’t be long until we Reach its release date and find out.

Pepe Coin price rises as 1.1 trillion leaves exchanges suddenly

by admin September 14, 2025

Pepe Coin rallies on the heels of a massive supply drop, which helped propel the token to a one-month high as trading volume and exchange outflows skyrocket.

Summary

  • Pepe price continued its strong rally on Saturday.
  • Over 1.1 trillion tokens have left exchanges in the past two days.
  • Pepe’s futures open interest has jumped to July highs.

Pepe (PEPE) saw a seven-day rally, reaching a one-month high as futures open interest surged and exchange outflows increased.

The token hit $0.00001200 on Sep. 13, with trading volume topping $1.34 billion—surpassing Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) $406 million and Pudgy Penguins’ (PENGU) $592 million. This price jump coincided with a 1.1 trillion token drop in exchange supply, now at 255.9 trillion, down from 257 trillion on Sept. 11.

A drop in exchange reserves suggests more confidence among investors as they move them into self-custody. It also signals that they are not selling their coins.

Derivatives data indicate increased Pepe demand, as the futures open interest continues to rise. It has jumped to over $765 million, the highest point since July this year. It started growing on Sept. 5 when it bottomed at $500 million.

Pepe Coin price technical analysis

Pepe price chart | Source: crypto.news

The daily chart shows that the Pepe price jumped from a low of $0.0000091 earlier this month to $0.00001200 today. This rebound happened after the token formed a falling wedge pattern, which is made up of two descending and converging trendlines.

Pepe Coin’s Relative Strength Index has continued rising, reaching a high of 65, its highest point since July 22. The two lines of the Percentage Price Oscillator have formed a bullish crossover.

Therefore, the most likely Pepe forecast is bullish, with the next target being at $0.00001475, up by 22% from the current level. This target is its highest point in July. A drop below the ascending trendline that connects the lowest swings since March will cancel the bullish outlook.

Charlie Kirk connection

Pepe’s mascot, dubbed “Pepe the Frog,” also received attention this past week after reports circulated that conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed by an individual who was allegedly associated with the so-called Groyper movement.

The Groyper movement is a far-right group led by alt-right activist Nick Fuentes, and their mascot is a variant of the Pepe meme. Before the killing, Groypers had for years disrupted Kirk’s events, accusing him of not being extreme enough.

Fuentes has denied the connection.

Key Reason Why XRP Price Is Suddenly Surging

by admin September 7, 2025

The Ripple-linked XRP token has experienced strong buy pressure, with more than $10 million worth of net buy pressure in less than 10 minutes.

Earlier today, a $3 million XRP market buy order was recorded on Binance perpetual futures. Notably, the mammoth buy order was executed in just 100 milliseconds.

The order, which has absorbed a significant amount of sell liquidity, managed to push the price of the token to an intraday high of $2.91.

XRP is currently changing hands at $2.86 after giving up some gains, according to CoinGecko data.

Bullish catalysts for XRP

Even though September is typically a bearish month for Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies, XRP could end up outperforming in October.

As reported by U.Today, the SEC is widely expected to greenlight XRP ETFs in the fourth quarter of this year. Franklin Templeton, Bitwise, and some other key issuers have joined the XRP race, but BlackRock and Fidelity have remained on the sidelines.

If XRP ETFs prove naysayers wrong and end up outperforming expectations in terms of inflows, this could create a powerful narrative for the token and potentially set the stage for a rally toward a new record high.

Dyson Is Going Nuts with the V8 Plus, the Cordless Vacuum Suddenly Got Really Cheap

by admin September 3, 2025

Dyson has always sat in that premium corner of the market – the same way Apple does in tech. You know you’re paying for sleek design, strong engineering and a brand that rarely slaps discounts on its products. That’s why today’s deal feels like such a rare treat.

Right now on Amazon, the Dyson V8 Plus cordless vacuum can be had for $389, marked down from $470. That’s its lowest price, but it’s a flash sale and once it’s gone, that’s it.

See at Amazon

Powerful Cleaning

This model uses Dyson’s digital motor V8 which produces up to 110,000 RPM. That equates to strong suction that can really lift fine dust, pet hair, cereal messes and floor debris from carpets and hard surfaces. Strong filtration is when it doesn’t just move dirt from one place to another, but picks up particles in the process, taking out allergens and leaving the air cleaner: This is part of the reason Dyson vacuums are more expensive – they don’t simply appear futuristic, they actually offer a quality of performance most cordless vacuums can’t quite reach.

Battery longevity is another area where Dyson has upgraded over time: The V8 Plus offers up to 40 minutes of runtime on a single battery. That’s enough to tidy most apartments or sweep a whole series of rooms before it needs to be plugged in. And since you can also change modes, you can save battery on small messes or use the big guns on heavy-set grime when you need to. Charging is also made simple with the dock station: just click it in place and it charges while it’s nestled safely away.

The V8 Plus is lightweight so picking it up and maneuvering it around the home or even upstairs isn’t a bother at all. It’s a snap to switch from a stick vacuum to a handheld and you can use it to get into everything from car interiors to the space in between couch cushions. With the attachments, you can access different surfaces without breaking your rhythm.

Vacuuming has the dreaded sensation of inhaling back all that you vacuumed but Dyson designed a system where rubbish is pushed out in one motion. You don’t need to pull on filters or dirty your hands – the dirt stays inside, which is a savior for anyone with a dust allergy. And as for filters, the V8 Plus has Dyson’s entire-machine filtration system that traps particles down to 0.3 microns.

Today, the real discount is the price: Bringing the Dyson V8 Plus down to $389 isn’t the kind of sale you come across every day. Dyson doesn’t flood the shelves with sales, so this impromptu sale is one you need to act on quickly.

Breaking: Ethereum (ETH) Suddenly Hits New ATH for the First Time Since 2021

by admin August 23, 2025

  • Nearly $300 million worth of shorts get wiped out
  • $5,000 in sight?

Flagship altcoin Ethereum (ETH) has reached a new record high for the first time in nearly four years.

The token hit a new record peak of $4,885 at 21:08 UTC on the Bitstamp exchange, surging by more than 15% in a single day.

In the meantime, Bitcoin’s dominance has now plunged to just 56.5%, according to CoinGecko data.

As reported by U.Today, ETH’s monster surge came after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell explicitly signalled that there would be a rate cut next month.

Nearly $300 million worth of shorts get wiped out

CoinGlass data shows that a whopping $287 million worth of shorts have been liquidated over the past 24 hours. For comparison, only $67 million worth of Bitcoin shorts got wiped out over the same period of time.

A $10 million ETH liquidation order took place on the OKX exchange earlier today.

In fact, there is a 29% chance of the flagship altcoin surging all the way to the $5,400 level during the last week of this August.

The odds of ETH hitting $10,000 in 2025 currently stand at 16% on Polymarket.

Bitcoin Whale Suddenly Pivots to Ethereum After Exiting 7 Years of Dormancy

by admin August 22, 2025

A dormant Bitcoin (BTC) whale investor has returned to the market after remaining inactive for seven years. In his latest move, the whale investor shifted attention to Ethereum (ETH), the leading market altcoin.

Dormant BTC whale pivots to Ethereum

According to data provided by Lookonchain, the Bitcoin whale left the market seven years ago after receiving 100,784 BTC, valued at $642 million.

Now, the whale is back to the market, recently selling his BTC to buy ETH. The whale investor purchased 62,914 ETH, valued at about $267 million, through spot trading.

Subsequently, he opened a massive 135,265 ETH, worth approximately $577 million — a long position.

Lookonchain also spotted another whale that deposited BTC into Hyperliquid to sell and buy ETH. This investor received 85,947 BTC seven years ago, matching the trading pattern of the recently reported whale.

On-chain tracking showed that six of their wallets still hold a massive 83,585 BTC, which is worth about $9.42 billion.

While the move appears to be a trade, the shift toward Ethereum is telling. It suggests that institutional players are rebalancing, possibly due to rising momentum on the ETH market.

Ethereum makes big moves

Ethereum has continued to make waves in key metrics over the past few days, despite a recent downtrend in its price.

As U.Today reported earlier, ETH set a new record on the leading Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) on Aug. 20.

You Might Also Like

According to the details provided, over $8.3 billion worth of ETH was committed in active futures contracts on CME. This marks the highest level of open interest ever recorded for ETH derivatives on the exchange.

Ethereum’s recent performance has helped to fuel an optimistic outlook among market participants. Citing massive inflows into spot Ethereum ETFs this August, Crypto Godfather Michael Terpin said ETH is preparing to outperform BTC.

As of press time, ETH has increased by 1.08% over the past 24 hours to $4,341. BTC, on the other hand, has seen its price drop 0.6% to $113,009.
