Nioh 3’s Steelbook Launch Edition Is Just $70

by admin September 29, 2025

Between Ninja Gaiden and Rise of the Ronin, Team Ninja has been pretty busy lately. The developer is keeping the pace into 2026 with the release of Nioh 3 on PS5 on February 6. Preorders are now live, and if you act fast, you can get the limited Nioh 3 Steelbook Launch Edition for $70. You’ll also get bonus DLC as a preorder bonus when Nioh 3 launches on February 6, 2026.

The Nioh 3 preorder bonuses differ between the physical and digital versions of the game. Preordering the physical Nioh 3 Steelbook Launch Edition gets you an exclusive Steelbook case featuring unique key art and slipcase cover. You’ll also get the Lucky Tanuki Netsuke and Kusanagi Netsuke Charm accessories. While not technically a preorder bonus, the Steelbook Launch Edition is only available in limited quantities–so while it’s possible you could find a copy after launch, it’s best to preorder if you’re interested in this version. A standard physical edition is available, though it doesn’t include the steelcase or extra in-game accessories.

There’s also an additional Early Purchase bonus that gets you the Hellfrost Warrior and Hellfrost Ninja armor and attire sets if you purchase any physical or digital version of Nioh 3 by February 19, 2026.

As for digital preorders, you’ll get the Early Purchase bonus plus three more in-game items: The Hellfire Warrior Attire set, Hellfire Ninja Attire Set, and the Scampuss Furball Netsuke charm.

$70 | Releases February 6, 2026

The Nioh 3 Steelbook Launch Edition is essentially a boosted standard edition with a special Steelbook case and a few extra pieces of in-game content. In addition to the base game, you’ll also get the Lucky Tanuki Netsuke and Kusanagi Netsuke charms. You’ll also get the Hellfrost Warrior and Hellfrost Ninja attire Early Purchase bonuses if you buy the game by February 19. Here’s everything included in the Nioh 3 Steelbook Launch Edition:

  • Nioh 3 base game
  • Steelbook case with Nioh 3 key art
  • Lucky Tanuki Netsuke charm
  • Kusanagi Netsuke charm
  • Early Purchase Bonus: Hellfrost Warrior Attire, Hellfrost Ninja Attire (purchase by February 19)

Keep in mind that while this version costs the same as the standard edition, it’s only available for a limited time and may sell out soon after launch.

$70 | Releases February 6, 2026

Nioh 3 is also available in a standard edition that only includes the base game in a regular PS5 box. There are no extras included in this version, though it also costs $70 just like the Steelbook Launch Edition. However, just like other versions, if you purchase the Nioh 3 standard edition before February 19, you’ll unlock the Hellfrost Warrior and Ninja Attire sets and Early Purchase bonuses. Digital standard edition preorders also include the Hellfire Warrior Attire, Hellfire Ninja Attire, and Scampuss Furball Netsuke Charm accessory.

Physical preorders are available at Best Buy. Digital preorders are also available on PS5 and Steam.

Nioh 3 Digital Deluxe Edition

$110 | Releases February 6, 2026

For those who prefer digital games or are playing on PC, you can also grab the $110 Nioh 3 Digital Deluxe Edition. This includes the base game, the Nioh 3 Season Pass–which will unlock two post-launch DLC packs releasing at a later date–and a bunch of in-game accessories and weapons. Here’s a look at all the content in the Nioh 3 Digital Deluxe Edition

  • Nioh 3 base game
  • Nioh 3 Season Pass (unlocks two post-launch DLCs)
  • Chijiko Netsuke Charm accessory
  • Kodama Netsuke Charm accessory
  • Infernal Weapons Set (14 types)
  • Early Purchase Bonus: Hellfrost Warrior Attire, Hellfrost Ninja Attire (purchase by February 19)
  • Digital Preorder Bonus: Hellfire Warrior Attire, Hellfire Ninja Attire, Scampuss Furball Netsuke charm (purchase before February 6)

Preorders are available on the PlayStation Store and on PC via Steam.

Like the previous entries, Nioh 3 is a fast-paced third-person action RPG that moves quicker than most souls-likes. Playing as Tokugawa–whose appearance is fully customizable–you’ll fight the Yokai plaguing the land in intense combat. The main twist this time is the choice between two distinct combat styles: Samurai or Ninja. With the Samurai style, you can perform a “Ki Pulse” to regain stamina after a combo and build up an Arts Proficiency gauge that unleashes powerful finishing attacks. A new parry system has also been introduced to the gameplay.

Opting for the Ninja path grants agile, evasive techniques and faster strikes. Instead of weapon stances, you’ll wield ninja tools alongside unique abilities. Mist, for instance, creates a clone that distracts enemies, while swift dashes let you slip behind foes for lethal backstabs. Each style has its own gear, but you can switch between them on the fly to adapt in battle. Returning mechanics include guardian spirit transformations, Soul Cores, and Yokai abilities. Set in a “dark samurai world” teeming with sinister spirits, your journey will uncover hidden secrets as you march toward the calamity known as the Crucible.

If you’d like to catch up on the previous Nioh games, you can get both of them in a bundle deal for $34.80 (was $70) on PS5. This is a limited-time deal at Amazon, and the Nioh Collection includes remastered and enhanced editions of the 2017 and 2020 games. All of the previously released expansion packs for each game have also been included.

Nioh Collection Deal

Nioh 3 isn’t the only Souls-like action RPG launching in earl 2026. Code Vein 2 will launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on January 30, 2026, and it’s priced at $70. Preorder bonuses include the Twin Fangs of the Lone Wolf weapon and the Forma Face Paint cosmetic, and if you purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Collector’s Edition, you’ll unlock 72-hour early access to the game.

Back To The Future Trilogy 4K Steelbook Preorders Restocked At Amazon

by admin September 28, 2025

Back to the Future’s upcoming 40th Anniversary Steelbook Edition 4K Blu-rays are back in stock and discounted at Amazon. Fans of the classic film trilogy can preorder Back to the Future’s Steelbook Edition for $30; Back to the Future II is up for grabs for $28, and Back to the Future III is only $25. The 40th Anniversary Trilogy Box Set is available to preorder for $45. Unfortunately, Amazon’s exclusive Limited Edition Gift Set remains sold out, and it’s unclear if it will be restocked again. All Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Edition products launch October 14.

Quick look: Back to the Future: 40th Anniversary Trilogy Lineup

$30 (was $35) | Releases October 14

Back to the Future’s new Steelbook Edition is a three-disc set with 4K Blu-ray, 1080p, and digital versions of the movie. The third disc is strictly for the extensive collection of bonus features.

The front cover shows Marty McFly staring at his watch (yet again) and the DeLorean Time Machine is seen speeding toward the iconic Back to the Future logo. All three cases remix the original movie posters with memorable snapshots from the movies. The interior artwork recreates one of the letters Marty writes to Doc Brown in Lou’s Cafe as well as the newspaper clipping about saving the clock tower and other notes and documents from the movie.

Here’s the list of brand-new special features that are exclusive to the new Back to the Future Steelbook Edition and 40th Anniversary Trilogy box sets.

Back to the Future: New 40th Anniversary Special Features

  • 40 Years Later: Reflecting on Back to the Future
  • Back to Hill Valley
  • Untold Stories of Back to the Future
  • TCM Classic Film Festival Panel
  • A Mystery in History

Co-writer and producer Bob Gale reflects on the cultural impact of the films in one of the new documentaries. There’s a tour of the location that was used to create the town of Hill Valley in the movies, crew members share untold stories of the production, and there’s even a featurette about tracking down one of the iconic props from the first movie. All of the bonus content from previous 4K and 1080p releases is included, too. We’ve included that list with the 40th Anniversary Trilogy collection.

$28 (was $30) | Releases October 14

Back to the Future II is generally considered the weakest entry in the series, with most fans favoring either the first or third movie. It also happens to have the smallest list of bonus features. Unlike the other two movies in the trilogy, Back to the Future II doesn’t need an extra disc just for special features. It still comes with 4K, 1080p, and digital versions of the film, and the case art is awesome.

Back to the Future 2: Special Features

  • Audio Commentary with Bob Gale and Neil Canton
  • Q&A Commentary: Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale
  • Tales from the Future: Time Flies
  • The Physics of Back to the Future
  • The Making of Back to the Future Part II
  • Making the Trilogy: Chapter Two

$25 (was $30) | Releases October 14

Like the first movie, Back to the Future 3 comes with 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and digital editions of the movie as well as an extra Blu-ray dedicated to an extensive list of bonus features. You’ll notice near the bottom of the list that you get two episodes of Back to the Future: The Animated Series. If you want to watch every episode, you can grab the four-disc DVD box set for only $10.88 (was $17).

Back to the Future 3: Special Features:

  • Doc Brown Saves the World
  • OUTATIME: Restoring the DeLorean
  • Looking Back to the Future
  • 2 Episodes from Back to the Future: The Animated Series

$45 (was $56) | Releases October 14

With Amazon’s discount, the 40th Anniversary Trilogy is only five bucks more than the existing Ultimate Trilogy.

If you haven’t watched the trilogy on 4K, you’re in for a treat. All three movies support Dolby Vision and even HDR10+, which isn’t all too common. With Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1 surround sound, Huey Lewis and the News really shine when they perform their signature track, The Power of Love.

All told, the 40th Anniversary Trilogy is an eight-disc collection with over nine hours of bonus content. All of the special features listed under each Steelbook Edition are included. As mentioned, the 1985 original has plenty of other extras beyond the five new featurettes and panels. Here’s the rest of the list:

Back to the Future (1985) Additional Bonus Features:

The car has working gull-wing doors, a lightning rod ready to receive 1.21 gigawatts of power–but please don’t stand outside in a storm with it–a detailed interior, a flux capacitor light brick, and an optional Mr. Fusion energy reactor. It also comes with two minifigures of Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

U.S. Silent Hill f fans slam pitiful Steelbook allocations as missing pre-order gifts pop up on pricey eBay auctions

U.S. Silent Hill f fans slam pitiful Steelbook allocations as missing pre-order gifts pop up on pricey eBay auctions

by admin September 27, 2025

Silent Hill f fans who missed out on Steelbook pre-orders despite ordering early are slamming U.S. retailer GameStop and speaking out against opportunist scalpers.

Players were tempted to pre-order the physical edition of Silent Hill f ahead of time by the “free” addition of a striking Steelbook case for orders placed with Amazon in the UK, and GameStop in the U.S.

However, as orders began arriving across the States this week and fans stopped by stores to pick up their freebie, it became clear that GameStop did not have nearly enough Steelbook cases to satisfy demand.

Silent Hill f Review – An Occasionally Unsatisfactory Return To Form.Watch on YouTube

“Is anyone else having trouble trying to acquire their Silent Hill f steelbook?” asked one customer. “Preordered from GameStop months ago and went today just an hour after opening and they’ve run out of all four steel boxes they had in stock. All four. Called every GameStop in a 50 mile radius and NONE other store received ANY shipment of steel boxes at all.”

“Everyone is getting the shaft,” someone responded. “Stores that even got allocation were at like 10% or less compared to their pre-order number.”

“I went to a GameStop earlier today as they opened, and they only got one,” commented someone else. “And I was the second guy in line. Supposedly, they should get another shipment. But it’s really stupid that there is a shortage of Steelbooks, and on top of that, online preorders require you to go in store to pick up the Steelbook. I wish Amazon US or Best Buy had the Steelbook, ’cause at least they would ship it with the game. I guess I’ll check in and see if they ever get more in the upcoming weeks.”

Other players claimed GameStop employees confirmed to them that each store received only a handful of Steelbook cases irrespective of how many pre-orders the stores logged, with some saying their local store “didn’t even get a single Steelbook…”

“I work at GameStop. We got a total of nine Steelbooks… for 30+ preorders,” explained another commenter.

If this all sounds very familiar, that’s because it is. When Silent Hill 2 Remake pre-orders began shipping in the UK in October 2024, GAME customers similarly received their game without the steelbook sweetener they’d hoped to get when placing their orders, and it took several weeks for GAME to fulfil delayed shipments. This time around, however, Konami partnered with Amazon UK to distribute the Steelbook pre-order bonus, which seems to have been more successful this time around.

What’s particularly galling for some fans, however, is the number of Steelbook cases that have made it onto online auction sites like eBay. Despite being given away for free, the collectible case is being auctioned for anywhere from $30 to $205, both with and without the game bundled alongside it.

In a thread entitled “people ruin everything” with hundreds of upvotes, one fan wrote: “What [is] really disappointed me even more was going on eBay just to see what resellers were up charging for the cases, ruining it for other people by being greedy. I know [the] Silent Hill franchise ha[s] always been expensive, I’ve gotten my fair share of games over the years, but for people to sell a case for more than market value is sickening.”

With most retailers advertising the freebie as available “while stocks last”, however, there’s very little customers can do, as demonstrated by this email response from GameStop customer care, who told one player that “even with online pre-orders, the Steelbook must be claimed in-store” and “these items are extremely limited and available only while supplies last.”

We’ll reach out to GameStop and update as/when we hear back from the retailer.

Whilst slow to get going and a little cumbersome early on, I had a good time with it in Eurogamer’s Silent Hill f review, calling it “a return to form worth sticking with” and awarding it four out of five stars.

Master And Commander Limited Edition 4K Steelbook Restocked At Amazon

by admin September 25, 2025

Back in 2003, audiences were introduced to oceanic battlefields with the release of Master and Commander: Far Side of the World. Featuring an ensemble cast led by Russell Crowe, the film was a big hit thanks its depiction of naval battles during the Napoleonic Wars and strong performances. Last month, Master and Commander finally launched on 4K Blu-ray in the US, but many fans were unable to preorder a copy due to how fast Amazon sold through its stock. If you’re still interested in picking it up, Amazon is once again taking orders for Master and Commander’s Limited Edition Steelbook.

Amazon is “temporarily out of stock” of the recently released Steelbook Edition, but you can place an order and Amazon will deliver it as soon as it replenishes its inventory.

The Steelbook Edition is the only 4K Blu-ray edition available in the US. A region-free standard edition with a slipcover released in Europe, but this version is only sold by third-party sellers in the US and is much more expensive than the $40 Steelbook Edition.

$40 | Available to order on September 25

Master and Commander’s Limited Edition Steelbook features a striking cover of Crowe’s character Captain Jack Aubrey alongside his ship, the HMS Surprise. The back cover has a compass motif, and there’s a subtle cartography influence for the maritime background. The interior artwork shows Aubrey staring out at the ocean.

This is a native 4K remaster (2160p) based on the original camera negative with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, and Dolby Atmos. The two-disc set includes 4K UHD and 1080p Blu-ray editions of Master and Commander. You’ll also get a voucher to claim the digital edition on Movies Anywhere.

For the extras, there are deleted scenes, a trivia track for history fans, and a pop-up map that tracks Aubrey’s ship across the film.

One thing that’s worth noting here is that the DVD release of Master and Commander offered a greater variety of special features, which never made their way onto previous standard Blu-ray releases of the film. That two-disc DVD edition has been out of print for ages now, and while there are still copies of it available, it can be pricey. Still, if you’re looking to really dive deep into Master and Commander, it makes for a nice companion piece as it has several in-depth documentaries.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World 4K Steelbook Edition

Master and Commander has held up very well in the decades since it was first released. The movie is a loose adaptation of the epic historical fiction series by English author Patrick O’Brien, and it tells the story of Captain Aubrey and his pursuit of a deadly French warship–the privateer ship Acheron–that threatens Britain’s naval supremacy. Torn between duty and his friendship with ship’s surgeon Dr. Stephen Maturin (Paul Bettany), Aubrey chases after the Acheron.

Just like several other historical movies released around the early 2000s, Master and Commander had an air of authenticity that helped elevate it. Naval warfare movies were relatively rare back then, and this movie featured period-accurate costumes and language. Filming took place on an actual ship–the HMS Rose–and a specially built full-scale replica that floated inside of a massive tank at Baja Studios in Mexico.

Speaking of Russell Crowe, an Amazon-exclusive Gladiator 2-Movie Steelbook Collection released in May and is in stock for $68. Crowe starred in the original Gladiator (2000), and Paul Mescal took on the lead role in the long-awaited 2024 sequel. Ridley Scott directed both films. Here’s a quick rundown of the 4K Blu-ray editions of Gladiator and Gladiator II that are in stock at Amazon.

Gladiator 4K Blu-rays

Gladiator 2-Movie Steelbook Collection

Another great Ridley Scott film to check out is Kingdom of Heaven, as it recently got a 4K restoration, too. This is the Director’s Cut that includes a ton of extra content, greatly fleshing out several scenes that never made it into the theatrical version. Sadly, the Steelbook Edition of Kingdom of Heaven’s Director’s Cut has been hard to find in stock, but you can get a region-free 4K standard edition.

Set during the Crusades, Kingdom of Heaven follows Balian (Orlando Bloom) as he joins his father, Baron Godfrey (Liam Neeson), on their journey to Jerusalem to reclaim it from the forces of the Ayyubid Sultan Saladin.

by admin September 23, 2025

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is now available to watch from your couch by purchasing the digital edition from Prime Video or another streaming service. Walmart has opened preorders for five different editions of First Steps on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD, including a handsome Limited Edition Steelbook for $45. The Steelbook Edition and the regular $30 4K Blu-ray edition come with 1080p Blu-ray and digital editions. The physical editions of The Fantastic Four: First Steps release October 14. We’ll update this story with Amazon preorder links once they are available.

The steelbook case gels with the retro-futuristic trappings of the film with colorful character art against a muted backdrop. It almost looks like an advertisement for a classic sitcom. The front of the case features Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and H.E.R.B.I.E. (voiced by Matthew Wood). The back of the case includes headshots of the team in their normal human forms with Galactus (Ralph Ineson) looming overhead and Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) flying on her cosmic surfboard.

The Limited Edition Steelbook comes with 4K and 1080p Blu-ray discs as well as a voucher to claim the digital edition from Movies Anywhere. The 4K disc supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. Audio formats for all 4K and Blu-ray editions include DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound and Dolby Digital 2.0. Subtitles are available in English, Spanish, and French.

All 4K and 1080p Blu-ray editions include several featurettes, a director audio commentary, and several other pieces of bonus content.

If you want to create a sprawling display of Marvel pop-up art, Walmart still has Pop-Up Editions of several other recent Marvel movies, including Deadpool and Wolverine, Thunderbolts, and Captain America: Brave New World.

The Last Of Us Season 2 Steelbook Edition Is $35 At Amazon, Launches This Week

by admin September 23, 2025

The Last of Us Season 2’s Limited Edition Steelbook is up for grabs for $35 (was $45) at Amazon ahead of the HBO show’s 4K Blu-ray release tomorrow, September 23. Amazon is the only retailer offering the $10 discount. The Steelbook Edition is currently priced at $40 at Walmart and Gruv. If you’re interested in owning the collectible 4K Blu-ray edition of Season 2, it’s not a bad idea to snag a copy soon, seeing as the Steelbook Edition for Season 1, which launched in March, now sells for rather high prices on the reseller market. Plus, Season 2’s 4K Steelbook is the same price as the standard 4K edition.

$35 (was $45) | Releases September 23

The Last of Us Season 2’s Limited Edition Steelbook features promotional photography of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) with Cordyceps fungus forming a moth–like Ellie’s tattoo–in the background. The interior artwork shows Ellie surrounded by a horde of people who have succumbed to the Cordyceps fungus.

The three-disc set includes all seven episodes of Season 2 in native 4K (2160p) resolution and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. The infected’s growls and the unsettling calling card of Clickers should sound pretty unnerving with Dolby Atmos audio and 7.1 lossless surround sound.

All 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray editions of The Last of Us Season 2 have the same bonus features, most of which originally aired on HBO Max. There are two brand-new exclusive bonus features, though. One is called Ellie’s Ultimate Revenge and explores Ellie’s motivations throughout Season 2. The other new bonus featurette is Beneath the Surface: The Visual FX of The Last of Us, a deep dive into the props, special effects, and backdrops from the show.

The Last of Us Season 2 Bonus Features:

  • Ellie’s Ultimate Revenge (New)
  • Beneath the Surface: The Visual FX of The Last of Us (New)
  • Growing the World of The Last of Us
  • Welcome to Jackson set tour
  • Joel’s Journey to Season 2
  • Ellie’s Journey to Season 2
  • Q&A with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey
  • Battle of Jackson, Deconstructed
  • Open Book: Isabela & Young Mazino
  • Mushroom Taste Test
  • 4 Character featurettes: Joel, Ellie, Abby, Dina
  • 7 “Making of” featurettes (Episodes 1-7)

4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD | Releases September 23

The Last of Us Season 2 is also getting standard editions on 4K Blu-ray, 1080p Blu-ray, and DVD. The 4K standard edition is $35 at Amazon and Walmart, so unless you dislike steelbook cases, you might as well grab the Limited Edition while it’s on sale for the same price.

The 1080p Blu-ray version is available for $30, while the DVD edition is $25.

Standard editions at Walmart:

The Last of Us: Season Two Limited Edition Steelbook

The Last of Us Season 2 continued HBO’s largely faithful adaptation of the Naughty Dog video game franchise. While Season 1 had nine episodes, Season 2 only had seven. The new season adapted a portion of The Last of Us Part II, though it was largely told from Ellie’s perspective. Season 3 is expected to flip the script and follow Abby, the other playable character from the second game.

While the show’s overarching storyline has remained aligned with the games–some of the scenes are nearly identical–it has, at times, explored previously uncharted backstories and introduced new characters within self-contained episodes.

The Last of Us Season 1 on 4K Blu-ray

As mentioned, the Steelbook Edition for The Last of Us Season 1 sold out earlier this year. If you still need to pick up Season 1, the 4K Blu-ray standard edition is only $20 at Amazon or Walmart. The standard Blu-ray version is $16 at Walmart and $20 at Amazon.

The Last of Us Season 1 Special Features

As mentioned above, you’re also getting a solid selection of extra content here. Each of the nine episodes come with short documentaries, and some of the documentaries on the fourth include a look at how the video game was adapted for TV, profiles of the actors, and the connections between the video game source material and the TV show. Here’s the full list of Season 1 bonus content:

  • Inside the Episode (No. 1-9)
  • Controllers Down: Adapting The Last of Us
  • From Levels to Live Action
  • The Last of Us: Stranger than Fiction
  • Ashley Johnson Spotlight
  • Get To Know Me actor profiles
  • Is This a The Last of Us Line?
  • The Last Debrief with Troy Baker

If you also love the Naughty Dog game series, there’s a pretty interesting book releasing this holiday. The Last of Us: Part I and Part II Scripts is a 616-page hardcover book with the complete scripts for both video games. Preorders are available for $70 at Amazon ahead of the book’s December 16 release.

Creepshow 4K Steelbook And New Creepshow 2 Limited Edition Get Massive Price Cuts

by admin September 22, 2025

Amazon has several scary good deals on the horror-comedy anthology franchise Creepshow, including steep discounts on two exciting upcoming releases. Creepshow 2’s Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray is on sale for $33 (was $50) ahead of its September 30 launch. The first printing of Arrow Films’ 4K restoration comes with numerous exclusive bonuses, including a comic book adaptation of an unpublished Stephen King short story. You can pair the 4K edition of the sequel with last year’s Creepshow Limited Edition Steelbook, which is discounted to only $23 (was $40)–by far the lowest price yet.

Creepshow fans can also save big on the upcoming Blu-ray box set of the complete four-season run of Shudder’s anthology series. Preorders for the Creepshow: Complete Series Collector’s Edition have dropped to $68.47 (was $100) at Amazon and Walmart. Slated for November 11, the box set leans into the franchise’s roots and inspirations with a CRT TV display box containing comic book-inspired disc cases. It looks like an awesome collectible for Creepshow fans.

Creepshow: Complete Series (Blu-ray)

As shown above, the CRT TV’s display clearly can switch between a red background with the series logo and a picture of The Creep, but it’s unclear how this mechanism works. In any case, it’s one of the cooler display boxes we’ve seen this year. All four seasons have their own case modeled after the the in-universe Creepshow comics and Stephen King’s graphic novel. You’ll also get a real comic book based on “Skeletons in the Closet,” which is one of the vignettes in Season 3, Episode 2.

If you love Creepshow, you’ve come to the right place. Along with details on the two upcoming releases, we put together lists of Creepshow Blu-rays, making-of books, and the ongoing comic book anthology series. So make sure to creep farther down for some great Creepshow deals–unless you’d rather look for yourself, in which case you can check out the Amazon hubs we created: Creepshow Blu-rays | Creepshow books and comics.

$68.47 (was $100) | Releases November 11

Creepshow debuted on Shudder in 2019 and quickly became one of the horror streamer’s marquee original series. It was undoubtedly a huge subscription seller for Shudder, especially Season 1 was the best take on the franchise since the original movie.

The anthology series ran for four seasons and 25 episodes, including two TV specials, before ending in 2023. Episodes of Creepshow include a pair of distinct vignettes, roughly 20-25 minutes each.

Franchise creators Stephen King and George A. Romero weren’t involved with the production, but a few episodes are based on King’s short stories, including the show’s very first vignette “Gray Matter,” adapted from a story in King’s excellent collection Night Shift. The 2020 Halloween special adapted “Survivor Type” from Skeleton Crew. The back half of the special was based on “Twittering from the Circus of the Dead” from the story collection Full Throttle by Joe Hill, who also happens to be King’s eldest son.

The 9-disc box set has a total runtime of roughly 18 hours. All 23 episodes and the two specials are displayed in 1080p resolution and support DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Bonus features include cast and crew interviews, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and photo galleries.

If you’re interested in the behind-the-scenes content, you should also check out Shudder’s Creepshow: From Script to Scream, a 240-page coffee-table book with a foreword by Stephen King. The hardcover book is on sale for $35 (was $50) at Amazon.

$33 (was $50) | Releases September 30

Creepshow 2’s Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray was restored from the original camera negative with HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10) and three audio formats: 5.1 DTS-HD, stereo, and lossless monaural.

Arrow Video originally created a 2K restoration that released as Creepshow 2: Special Edition back in 2016 on 1080p Blu-ray. The on-disc special features for the 4K release largely mirror the Special Edition. The reversible sleeve and cover art by Mike Saputo matches the 2016 release, too.

Just like the first printing of the 1080p Blu-ray, the 4K release includes two limited-edition booklets. These are no longer included with the standard Blu-ray and were limited to 3,000 units, but now you have another chance. For reference, the first printing has a red sleeve, but after it sells out, it’ll likely switch to a blue sleeve like the Blu-ray edition.

Most notably, you’ll get a booklet with the comic adaptation of “Pinfall,” one of the two stories that were cut from the film. The story was written by Stephen King and adapted into a script by George Romero. Jason Mayoh adapted the story into a comic for the Blu-ray release in 2016. Along with the comic booklet, you’ll get an illustrated booklet with commentary from Michael Blyth.

“Pinfall” has never been published as a short story or filmed, so this is the only way to experience one of Stephen King’s unpublished stories.

Creepshow 2 4K Limited Edition Bonuses

  • “Pinfall” comic booklet (adaptation of unpublished King story)
  • Illustrated booklet with commentary on the film
  • Collector’s sleeve with original artwork and reversible cover art
  • Featurettes, audio commentaries, and interviews

A full list of on-disc special features can be found at the end of this article. For a deep dive on the sequel, check out The Making of Creepshow 2, a 320-page account of the film’s production based on production documents and author Lee Karr’s conversations with cast and crew.

$23 (was $40) | All-time low

Though you can watch Creepshow 2 without watching the original, the 1982 anthology is a more well-rounded collection of horror-comedy stories, so it doesn’t really make sense to skip it. Plus, it’s already available on 4K Blu-ray. A Collector’s Edition released in 2023, and the awesome Steelbook Edition shown above arrived just in time for Halloween last year. The Limited Edition Steelbook is on sale for only $23 (was $40), which is actually cheaper than the standard 4K Blu-ray edition by a few bucks.

Both editions include 4K Blu-ray and standard 1080p Blu-rays and the same special features. The film was remastered in 4K using the original camera negatives and supports HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10), Dolby Atmos audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0. Special features include three different audio commentary tracks, a roundtable on the making of the anthology, interviews, and a whole bunch more. You can check out the full list at the bottom of this article.

Creepshow 2 Limited Edition (Arrow Video)

Creepshow and its numerous follow-ups blend horror and comedy while paying homage to classic comics like Tales from the Crypt and The Haunt of Fear. Directed by George Romero, the 1982 original is an anthology film with five distinct vignettes. Stories include a murdered man rising from the dead, a mysterious meteor that lands on a remote farm, and a cockroach army that’s hunting a man with Entomophobia.

Stephen King made his screenwriting debut with Creepshow, and two of the five tales were adapted from his short fiction. Creepshow wears its comic book influences on its sleeve, and King adapted the film into a graphic novel the same year the movie released.

Creepshow 2’s screenplay was written by Romero and directed by the original film’s cinematographer Michael Gornick. Though originally planned to mirror its predecessor with five vignettes, only three made it into the movie: “Old Chief Wood’nhead,” “The Raft,” and “The Hitch-hiker.” All three are based on King’s short stories, but “The Raft” is the only one that has been published and collected in the author’s heralded collection Skeleton Crew.

“Cat from Hell,” the other King story that was cut from Creepshow 2, was included in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie in 1990. The spin-off film was based on a TV series created by Romero in 1983. Given the timing, it should come as no surprise that Tales from the Darkside–also a horror-comedy anthology–existed because of Creepshow’s unexpected box office success. Tales from the Darkside: The Complete Series is available on DVD for $27.90.

Creepshow franchise 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases

Beyond the collectible editions, the first two Creepshow anthologies are available for $10-$12 each on standard Blu-ray. The Creepshow franchise technically has three film anthologies, but the 2006 straight-to-home-video Creepshow 3 is one that many fans want to forget exists at all (it’s quite bad). If you want to be reminded of it, a region-free Blu-ray edition of Creepshow 3 is $22 at Walmart. All three films are collected in a DVD box set for $25.

Another box set option is the King of Horror 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray or DVD. This one only includes the first Creepshow movie, but you’ll also get The Shining, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, the 1990 It miniseries, and more. King of Horror’s Blu-ray edition is only $36.30 (was $60) at Amazon.

Creepshow Movies

All four seasons of Shudder’s anthology series are already available on Blu-ray and DVD. The first season is currently priced close to $30, but Seasons 2-4 are up for grabs for under $15 each.

Tales from the Darkside / Tales from the Crypt

If you like the horror-comedy anthology structure, you should definitely check out Tales from the Darkside and Tales from the Crypt.

Creepshow by Stephen King (1982) | Creepshow Deluxe Edition Book One (2024)

Shudder’s series also led to the revival of Creepshow in print. Skybound and Image Comics have published 20 Creepshow comics since 2022, and 15 of them have been collected in paperback volumes. Each volume has five standalone comics written and illustrated by a rotating group of big names in the industry, including Garth Ennis and Joe Hill. As a child, Hill appeared in the prologue and epilogue of the original Creepshow film, and over 40 years later he wrote an official Creepshow comic called Joe Hill’s Wolverton Station.

The first issue in Volume 4 was published September 17. Volume 4 #2 releases October 22, and #3 is scheduled for November 19.

If you want to catch up on the anthology series, the first three volumes are available in trade paperback for $10-$15 each. Volume 3 was published in April, and Volume 4’s paperback edition is slated for April 14, 2026. Last holiday season, Image Comics published a hardcover Deluxe Edition compiling the first two volumes. Amazon has Creepshow Deluxe Edition for $21 (was $40), which is almost exactly the same price as the two paperback editions combined.

Joe Hill’s Creepshow comic and three others are one-shots that aren’t included in the collected volumes, but you can buy Kindle digital editions for a couple bucks each or collected volumes for $8-$12. All 20 Creepshow comics released publsihed so far are available in a Kindle bundle for $43.80. But before reading the new series, we’d highly recommend Stephen King’s original graphic novel, which is available in paperback for only $15 (was $20) at Amazon.

Chucky Complete TV Series Releases On Blu-Ray This Week With A Collectible Steelbook

by admin September 22, 2025

Chucky has haunted screens and instilled the fear of dolls in the minds of many for decades. Thanks to the long-running film franchise and recent TV series, the creepy doll has become one of the most recognizable horror characters of all time. Soon, fans of the amateur comedian and full-time murderous doll can add two collectible editions from the Chucky franchise to their display shelves. Chucky: The Complete Series Steelbook Edition is up for preorder for $60 (was $65) at Amazon. The Steelbook Edition Blu-ray releases alongside standard edition Blu-ray and DVD collections this Tuesday, September 23.

While you’re picking up Chucky: The Complete Series, make sure to check out the Child’s Play Limited Edition Steelbook. Exclusive to Amazon and slated to launch October 7, this collectible edition of the franchise’s original 1988 film has already sold out multiple times since preorders opened, but it’s back in stock as of September 21.

$60 (was $65) | Releases September 23

Chucky: The Complete Series includes all 24 episodes of Syfy’s awesome TV series across six Blu-ray discs. Syfy canceled the show last fall, a few months after airing the third season. If you’re a fan of the movies and haven’t watched the show, we’d highly recommend it. The series is a sequel to the 2017 film Cult of Chucky. And while it leans more into the comedy, Chucky still commits plenty of gruesome murders. Plus, the show retains Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky.

The artwork on the steelbook’s front cover looks cool, though it’s not a brand-new design. The image of Chucky sitting against a school locker was first used to promote Season 1, but with “Wanna Play” written in blood instead of “The Complete Series.” The back of the case features polaroid pictures with characters and references. When you open the steelbook, you’re peering inside Chucky’s locker. Along with more pictures, there’s a bloody knife, because the Biology and Literature textbooks wronged him, apparently.

Like many TV series with physical editions, Chucky has only ever been available on 1080p Blu-ray. The discs support Dolby Audio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The list of bonus features is a light, but you’ll still find deleted scenes on all six discs along with a featurette called The Legacy of Chucky. In total, the series runs close to 19 hours.

As mentioned, Chucky: The Complete Series also has a standard Blu-ray edition for $50 (was $55) and a DVD box set for $40 (was $45). It’s also worth noting that all three seasons are available on Blu-ray. You’d spend roughly $55 total if you purchased each season individually instead.

  • Chucky: Complete Series:
  • Chucky: Seasons on Blu-ray:

$45 | Releases October 7

Relive the film that started it all with the Child’s Play Limited Edition Steelbook. It includes both 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray copies of the movie, with the 4K scan created from the original camera negative. Both Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision are supported, as is DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. You’ll get a chilling steelbook featuring a close-up shot of Chucky, while a third disc (standard Blu-ray) is loaded with bonus features. Here’s what’s included:

  • Behind-the-scenes special effects footage
  • Howard Berger: Your Special Effects Friend ‘Til The End – Interview with special makeup effects artist
  • Life Behind the Mask: Being Chucky – Interview with Ed Gale
  • Evil Comes in Small Packages – Interviews with Don Mancini, David Kirschner, Kevin Yagher, and more
  • Chucky: Building a Nightmare – Featuring Kevin Yagher
  • A Monster Convention – Archival piece from The 2007 Monster Mania Panel
  • Introducing Chucky: The Making of Child’s Play
  • Vintage Child’s Play featurette
  • Theatrical trailer
  • TV spot
  • Behind-the-scenes photo gallery
  • Posters and lobby cards gallery

All of the on-disc content matches the original 4K Collector’s Edition that released in 2022. You can get that version, sans steelbook, for $29 (was $40).

Chucky: The Complete Series Limited Edition Steelbook (Blu-ray)

All seven films in the original Chucky series as well as the 2019 reboot are available on 4K Blu-ray. The second and third films released in 2022 alongside the original, while the remaining four–all of which abandoned the Child’s Play moniker for Chucky–launched in 2023. If you want a complete “matching” set, the editions below come with cardboard sleeves and have the same style of cover art.

Chucky 4K Blu-ray Collector’s Editions:

All eight movies are also available on Blu-ray for less than $10 each–though if you want all of them, it makes more sense to buy the Blu-ray box set detailed below and pair it with the 2019 reboot separately for $9.50.

Chucky Blu-rays:

Chucky 7-Movie Collection

The original film series is also available in box set format on Blu-ray and DVD for cheap. Chucky 7-Movie Collection on Blu-ray is $42.49 (was $60) at Amazon. In 2023, Arrow Video released a 4K Blu-ray box set called The Chucky Ultimate 8-Movie Collection. It has the original seven movies and the 2019 reboot in 4K with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10. The box set wasn’t released in the US, but it’s region-free and available on Amazon from a third-party seller.

Corpse Bride Limited Edition Steelbook Preorders Discounted, Releases This Week

by admin September 21, 2025

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride launches on 4K Blu-ray for the first time on September 23. The cult-classic stop-motion animated movie is celebrating its 20th anniversary with two different editions, including a Limited Edition Steelbook with a collectible steelbook case and decorative sleeve. Burton fans can preorder Corpse Bride’s Limited Edition Steelbook for $30 (was $35) at Amazon and Walmart. The standard 4K Blu-ray edition is up for grabs for only $23.79 at Amazon and Walmart.

This has been a popular Steelbook Edition–it sold out for the first time in July before the official artwork was even revealed–and has been listed for as high as $45.49 at both retailers. If you already preordered from Amazon or Walmart, your order total will be adjusted to reflect the lowest price offered before launch ($30). Burton fans can also preorder the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Limited Edition Steelbook for $30 (was $35). The Beetlejuice sequel’s collectible edition releases the same day as Corpse Bride.

$30 (was $45.49) | Releases September 23

Corpse Bride’s Limited Edition Steelbook continues a trend we’ve seen more of recently by including a transparent sleeve with artwork that changes the look of the display case. With the sleeve on, as shown above, Emily Merrimack’s eyes are closed, and she’s surrounded by butterflies. When you remove the sleeve, the Corpse Bride’s eyes open and the butterflies disappear, leaving the night sky background clear besides the full moon.

The back of the steelbook features Victor Van Dort, the man who unwittingly marries Emily (according to her, at least). More undead characters are featured on the interior covers, including General Wellington and Bonejangles.

$23.79 | Releases September 23

Corpse Bride’s standard 4K Blu-ray mirrors the Steelbook Edition in terms of on-disc content and technical specs. Both editions come with one 4K Blu-ray disc and a voucher for the digital edition via Movies Anywhere.

The 4K restoration includes HDR10 and supports Dolby Atmos surround sound. Along with the film, fans can watch a bunch of bonus content, including retrospectives, featurettes, interviews, and more. Special features are on the disc regardless of which edition you choose, but they aren’t rendered in 4K.

Corpse Bride Special Features

  • Digging Up the Past: The Minds Behind Corpse Bride
  • ‘Til Death Do Us Art: A Corpse Bride Reflection
  • The Animators: The Breath of Life
  • Danny Elfman Interprets the Two Worlds
  • Inside the Two Worlds of the Corpse Bride
  • Voices from the Underworld
  • The Corpse Bride Pre-Production Galleries
  • Tim Burton: Dark vs. Light
  • Making Puppets Tick
  • The Voices Behind the Voice

Corpse Bride Limited Edition Steelbook

Corpse Bride is the dark tale of Victor Van Dort (Johnny Depp), a young bachelor roped into a wedding of convenience to his bride-to-be, Victoria Everglot (Emily Watson). After a series of incidents result in Victor accidentally marrying a deceased woman named Emily (Helena Bonham Carter), he must find a way to escape the Land of the Dead, help Emily move on.

While Burton’s work spans multiple genres and decades, each film carries his signature style and visual atmosphere, and if you’re looking to check out more of his catalog, many of his films are available on Blu-ray at Amazon. Burton made his directorial debut with Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, and he followed up it with several other cult-classic movies throughout the 1980s and 1990s, such as A Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and Mars Attacks. He also directed two of the best Batman films ever, in 1989’s Batman and its sequel, Batman Returns. Both films are available in a four-film 4K Blu-ray collection alongside Batman Forever and Batman & Robin for only $33 (was $90) at Amazon.

As mentioned, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Burton’s latest film, is getting a Limited Edition Steelbook on September 23, too. It’s worth noting Walmart still has a few copies of the film’s original Steelbook Edition for $20.

Check out a list of even more Tim Burton movies on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray below.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest Celebrates 50th Anniversary With 4K Steelbook Edition

by admin September 18, 2025

No list rounding up the best movies of the 20th century would be complete without One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. In celebration of the film’s 50th anniversary, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest is releasing on 4K Blu-ray with a collectible steelbook case. Slated to release November 11, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Limited Edition Steelbook is available to preorder for only $30 (was $35) at Amazon. This edition also comes with a voucher to redeem a digital copy of the movie. A standard edition is available to preorder for $25 at Walmart.

$30 (was $35) | Releases November 11

The steelbook case features Jack Nicholson’s character pondering an escape from the prison of his mind and the psychiatric hospital, represented by a giant bird cage. The subdued color palette is similar to the film’s original posters used to promote the theatrical release.

Presented in native 4K resolution (2160p) with HDR10 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, this edition of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest should be the best way to watch this all-time classic in 2025. This edition doesn’t come with a standard 1080p Blu-ray disc. One reason for this might be that the Blu-ray version has been out of print for a while.

There aren’t too many extras included here, but you can extend your viewing with the Conversations on Cuckoo and Completely Cuckoo featurettes as well as around 20 minutes of deleted scenes.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest Special Features:

  • Conversations on Cuckoo: Group Therapy featurette
  • Completely Cuckoo featurette
  • Deleted Scenes

Sadly, it looks like the audio commentary track featuring director Milos Forman and his producers Saul Zaentz and Michael Douglas has not been included here, which is a pity because it provided fascinating insight into how challenging it was to film this adaptation.

If you want the audio commentary, a region-free 1080p Blu-ray edition is available for $17.37 at Amazon.

$25 | Releases November 11

As mentioned, a standard 4K Blu-ray edition is also available to preorder at Walmart for $25. Preorders for the standard edition haven’t opened at Amazon yet. This version also comes with a digital copy of the film and the same special features.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is based on Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel of the same name. Kesey’s novel is regularly included in lists of the best works of fictions of the 20th century, so it’s fairly remarkable the adaptation became one of the best movies of its era. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest was nominated for nine and won five Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Nicholson and Best Picture.

Nicholson’s portrayal of Randle McMurphy remains one of his most memorable roles. McMurphy, a career criminal, avoids being sent to a labor farm and is instead imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital. He soon finds himself at odds with Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher), a manipulative healthcare worker who controls patients with fear, abuse, and intimidation. Nicholson’s character is a quick-witted foil to the cold and clinical Ratched, and his rebellious nature gradually has a positive impact on his fellow inmates. In addition to Nicholson and Fletcher, the film also featured an ensemble cast of actors like Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, Will Sampson, and Sydney Lassick, and William Redfield.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey

As mentioned above, On Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is adapted from the book of the same name. Kesey’s novel is mostly adapted faithfully for the big screen. Still, one of the major differences here is that the story is told from the viewpoint of Chief Bromden, giving readers more insight into his life and making him the main character.

At the same time, he witnesses the battle of wills between McMurphy and Ratched. The film also made several other changes to the source material–like having a completely different ending–but it does keep the gist of the novel intact.

If you’re interested in reading it, you can pick up the One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest: 50th Anniversary Hardcover Edition for $17.58 (was $30) or the paperback version for $13 (was $19).

The other option available here is the Audible version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. This is a new reading of Kesey’s novel by Walk Hard actor John C. Reilly, and it runs for over 10 hours. It’s worth mentioning that Audible offers a pretty good deal currently, as new subscribers can get their first 30 days for free.

This will allow you to choose one free audiobook for the month–or two with the trial if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber–and the service will then cost $15/month afterward. Audible Premium Plus members get one Audible Credit each month, and you can buy more for $15 each. Effectively, this means you won’t ever pay more than $15 for a new book, and you also have access to thousands of books in the Audible Premium library as well as exclusive sales events.
