KPop Demon Hunters Uploaded A New Song, But Something’s Off

by admin October 8, 2025

Ejae, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna are set to perform on The Tonight Show in just a few hours, which will mark the trio’s first live performance as Huntr/x, the pop stars from KPop Demon Hunters. (At least, not counting a cameo in a skit during this weekend’s Saturday Night Live in which they didn’t even perform a full song.) But in advance of that debut performance later tonight, the band has released a new song with no fanfare, one that wasn’t featured in the Netflix musical. Or at least that’s what Spotify is currently indicating. The Huntr/x Spotify account posted a song called “Mazatlan By Night” on Sunday, and it’s only accumulated about 6,000 listens so far. Considering how big KPop Demon Hunters has become in the past few months, you’d think a new song from the titular girl group would have exploded in even just a few days. So what’s up with this song? Well, for one thing, it doesn’t seem to actually be a Huntr/x song.

Sometimes other artists’ work will appear on a group’s Spotify page if they’re featured or if one of their songs is sampled, but I’ve listened to the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack hundreds of times and couldn’t pick out anything from this piece that would put Huntr/x anywhere near the credits. I tried using the Shazam app, which listens to music and gives you the title, and it couldn’t identify the song as anything, much less a new song by Rumi, Zoey, and Mira. This could have been uploaded to the Huntr/x account in error, or there might be something more nefarious going on. The song’s copyright is for “Diskerux Diamond,” which doesn’t bring up any search results on Google. Well, it might bring up this article now. We’ve reached out to Universal Music Group for comment on the situation and will update the story if we hear back.

It’s entirely possible the account was hacked and someone uploaded this song to the Huntr/x account without authorization. Or it could have been a technical error that…somehow ended up on the Spotify page of one of the biggest groups in music right now. Sorry to the 6,000 of you that listened to it expecting something new from the girls. But hey, at least we’ll get to hear them performing “Golden” live on The Tonight Show in a little bit.

Rock Band 4 will be de-listed this week, now’s your last chance to grab song packs

by admin October 3, 2025

Rock Band 4 will be de-listed later this week, developer Harmonix has stated, meaning this is your last chance to grab any remaining song packs.

The game was original released a decade ago for PS4 and Xbox One, but now the licenses for the core soundtrack are expiring.

As such, the game will no longer be available to purchase and download from 5th October, while DLC song packs will gradually be removed once they hit the ten year mark themselves.

Rock Band 4 announced for PS4 and Xbox One (Dev Diary)Watch on YouTube

Of course, if you own the game already it will remain in your library, as will any purchased songs.

“We’re so grateful for the passion this community has shown,” said Harmonix. “From the team, it’s been a special experience to serve you with Rivals challenges, a super deep downloadable content library and a best in class band sim. If you’ve been meaning to grab a few last songs, now’s the time.”

The statement was shared on the game’s subreddit.

Harmonix was acquired by Fortnite-maker Epic back in 2021 and has since created the Fortnite Festival music mode.

A year later, the studio’s last music game, the DJ mixing game Fuser, similarly went offline in December 2022.

Lawsuit over ownership of Sonic theme Live and Learn dismissed, but Fortnite collab proves song remains in “limbo”, says songwriter

by admin September 22, 2025

A lawsuit over the rights to the Sonic the Hedgehog song Live and Learn has been dismissed, but the songwriter claims the song “remains in ‘limbo'”.

Last year, Crush 40 musician and songwriter Johnny Gioeli sued Sega of America over ownership of the Sonic Adventure 2 theme song, ahead of its feature throughout the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film.

At the time, Gioeli claimed Sega had the rights to the lyrics, but not the “master recording musical composition”. However, “unbeknownst” to the songwriter, the company had “exploited and licensed” the song in “at least 25 video games, television shows, live performances/events and films”.

In a new statement, Gioeli stated the case against Sega was dismissed “based on time, not on ownership” and so the song remains in “limbo”.

The reason for the statement? Sonic’s forthcoming appearance in Fortnite – we reported last week on leaks suggesting Sonic and Shadow are headed to the battle royale.

“Just two weeks ago, I was contacted by Epic Games to potentially use Live and Learn,” stated Gioeli, “and the amazing part is Sega had them call ME for the rights to use the song. So there you have it. The most epic song remains in the ‘abyss of ownership’.”

Gioeli added: “The song is mine. I wrote it with Jun [Senoue], I sing it, I created the melody, I recorded my vocals in my studio, and they do not own it.”

News of the lawsuit emerged last year ahead of both Sonic x Shadow Generations and the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film, both of which make use of the song in their soundtracks.

Gioeli’s latest comments precede not just the Fortnite collaboration, but the release this week of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

A leak last week, showed more unannounced DLC is on the way to the racing game.

Drake song leaked by pump.fun streamers, token soars by 3,000%

by admin September 17, 2025

A pair of pump.fun streamers allegedly leaked Drake’s single from his upcoming album ICEMAN in a stream to promote their meme coin BAGWORK. The duo have since made more than $83,410 from creator fees in just two days after streaming the song.

Summary

  • Drake’s unreleased track from ICEMAN was leaked by a pair of streamers on pump.fun.
  • The developers behind the token, BAGWORK, gained $83,410 within just two days of streaming the song.

Pump.fun livestreamers went viral for playing what sounds like an unreleased song from rapper Drake’s upcoming album over the weekend in an effort to promote their token. The video clip shows the pair of livestreamers in the backseat of a car, listening to what they claim is an “unreleased” song.

“First time this song is ever played,” said the one of the streamers

“Buy f**king BAGWORK right now,” yelled the other streamer.

Both streamers jam to the song wearing white t-shirts that spell out the name of their token, BAGWORK on SOLANA (SOL), in big bold marker-written letters. It did not take long for the clip to spread all over social media and catch the attention of Aubrey “Drake” Graham himself, who was taken off guard by the fact that two teenagers leaked his song on a meme coin launchpad livestream.

According to a report by the Rolling Stone, the rapper called into the Kick stream of Adin Ross to find out who the leakers were. At first, Ross believed that it was one of Drake’s unconventional methods of releasing music. But the rapper denied it.

“I don’t even know who the f**k those kids are,” Drake said to Ross over the phone.

“What, you actually don’t know who those kids are?” the streamer responded.

“I just asked you who they are. What the f**k?” Drake snapped back.

The BAGWORK streamers later claimed that Ross had messaged them, asking how they were able to get their hands on the unreleased track. However, they told him to come on their stream if he wanted to know. Ross did not respond to the request, according to the duo.

Drake’s impact on the BAGWORK meme coin

Within just two days of playing the unreleased track on their livestream, the token shot up in value. The token soared nearly 3,000% in less than 24 hours, with market cap rocketing from under $5 million to a peak of $53.8 million.

According to the chart, price action shows the token climbed from near $0.001 to highs above $0.050 at the peak of the hype, as volume surged and speculators rushed in.

However, the Drake rally proved to be short-lived. Within two days of the spike, BAGWORK retraced sharply, dropping over 80% from its highs and now trading around $0.0095 with a market cap of just $10.3 million.

According to data from Pump.fun (PUMP), the account that launched the BAGWORK token has launched a dozen other tokens. Their Solana balance has reached $20,100. Meanwhile, the creator fees generated from Bagwork has dropped significantly since their Drake leak; falling fro $83,410 to just around $35,300 within 24 hours.

Pulling stunts to gain traction for their token is not new for the livestreamer duo. Before Drake, they’ve claimed to leak songs from other artists like Future, Lil Uzi Vert, and Playboi Carti.

Last week, one of the devs behind BAGWORK even invaded the field during a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game to promote the token.

Best Roblox song IDs

There’s just something about listening to your favorite music in a public setting and forcing it upon the ears of others. Roblox has turned this real-world nuisance into a series of games on its platform.

Using a database of uploaded songs, players can input Song IDs to blast their song of choice directly into the ears of strangers all over the world. Here are some of the best.

Best songs for Roblox 2025

Prior to a change in March 2022, users could upload virtually any audio file and have it be playable in any game that supported the boombox via a Song ID. The change retroactively made any audio longer than six seconds private. This meant that if you weren’t the person who had originally uploaded the audio file, you would no longer be able to play or hear the sound.

This means the vast majority of Song ID repositories are now functionally useless, and users have been restricted to a much smaller selection of songs and sound clips of varying quality. One important thing to know is that there’s no guarantee that any individual Song ID may work, as they can be made private by either Roblox staff or the user who uploaded it.

Below are 30 absolute bangers to entertain yourself and possibly others around you. I have personally confirmed that each is working at the time of this writing. Go forth, aspiring DJs!

How to search for Song IDs in Roblox

To search for music codes on Roblox, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Roblox homepage
  2. Select ‘Create’
  3. Go to ‘Store’
  4. Select the ‘Audio’ tab
  5. Choose any audio
  6. Hit the arrow on the right side and press ‘More Info’
  7. Copy the numbers within your internet browser’s URL (right after assets)
  8. Paste the numbers to use your music code in-game

You’ll discover many sections on the Audio page, from the top Roblox Song IDs to the newest hits of the day. After you find a song, you can get its ID through ‘More Info.’ Discover the correct number from your URL. For instance, mine came out to ‘create.roblox.com/store/asset/75793628822368/Mirage-Portal.’ Thus, the bolded numbers would be utilized as the Song ID.

How to use music codes in Roblox

Playing music in Roblox varies in each game, as they all have different methods. Sometimes, it can cost money with Robux, while other times, it doesn’t cost a thing. To play music for free, play Catalog Heaven, a game that allows you to customize your avatar and battle nearby bases. Once you start playing, select ‘Catalog’ and type in Boombox. There will be a few choices here, including the Boombox Gear 3.0 and Golden Super Fly Boombox. Choose one of them to trigger a prompt to enter Roblox music codes.

Screenshot by Destructoid

Tap on the Boombox again if you want to change songs. You can also stop the music by unequipping it in your inventory. Besides Catalog Heaven, you can see if other games permit music. I discovered that Jailbreak features a Car Stereo mechanic, costing 200 Robux. With this title, you can type in ‘R’ or tap the radio on the bottom-right corner of the screen. Then, enter any Song ID you prefer to listen to some tunes on Jailbreak.

For the most part, it seems like Roblox titles that use music codes require a subscription pass. Therefore, if you’re unsure whether your game is compatible, check the title’s Subscription & Passes section to see if there’s a radio or stereo feature.

Can I create custom music playlists in Roblox?

Only Roblox game developers can create custom music playlists. It’s associated with a tool used in scripting to create soundtracks for various worlds. If you’re a player, you must manually enter each ID to make your own version of a playlist.
