Borderlands 4 Skibidi Toilet mod

Mod maker brings Skibidi Toilet to Borderlands 4 for one simple reason: To spite the narrative director who said he’d ‘cry real tears’ if the game shipped with it

by admin September 25, 2025

One of the best things about PC gaming is mods. They let people do things with their games that developers, for whatever reason, couldn’t, didn’t, and/or really wish you wouldn’t. Sometimes they’re practical things, like the recently-released Dying Light: the Beast mod that reduces annoying zombie grabs—and sometimes, well, they’re not.

A good example of a mod that was not created to solve a practical problem is Epic’s Skibidi Toilet, which creator EpicNNG said was made specifically “to spite Samuel Winkleclank.” That would be Borderlands 4 narrative director Sam Winkler, who apparently brought this upon himself by saying Borderlands 4 would cut back on the “toilet humor” of Borderlands 3.

“If the word ‘skibidi’ ships in the game under my watch I’m gonna cry real tears,” Winkler proclaimed fatefully.

Careful what you wish for, or vocally wish not to happen as the case may be, because yes, it is real.

Winkler, to his credit, seems to be taking it well.

His torment isn’t likely over, though. In the same post in which Winkler said he wouldn’t allow Skibidi Toilet in Borderlands 4, he also wrote, “Paul Tassi joked that we were gonna have a gun called Hawk 2A and a fellow dev asked me if it was real and I wanted to put my hand down the sink grinder.”

Well:

For the record, it’s not all disturbing toilets and sex puns: EpicNNG also creates mods that solves practical problems, including one that will remove or reduce VFX in Borderlands 4 to improve accessibility.

Skibidi Toilet has made its way to Borderlands 4 just to spite its narrative director

by admin September 24, 2025

Borderlands 4 players on the PC are now able to download a little mod that’ll add a particularly famous meme to the game, in spite of the narrative director’s public woes.

That’s right, the Skibidi Toilet mod can be downloaded on Nexusmods right now. This mod will add the infamous Skibidi Toilet face to in-game toilets, bringing everyone’s fears to life. The mod was created by EpicNNG, developer and Borderlands content creator.

The reason this jokey mod is of note is thanks to Borderlands 4 narrative director Sam Winkler’s comments on the game’s tone prior to launch. On social media, Winkler said that the “toilet humour” present in Borderlands 3 would be toned down, and stated: “if the word skibidi ships in the game under my watch I’m gonna cry real tears”.

Check out the launch trailer for Borderlands 4 here.Watch on YouTube

So while Sam Winkler has been able to sleep peacefully knowing Borderlands 4 hasn’t shipped with any especially cringeworthy gags, it seems certain corners of the Borderlands community have long memories. People say having open communication to developers is great for community building and strong ties to the folks making the experiences gamers love. The real reason is obviously this: to create mods to torment them.

It actually gets worse for Winkler, who also stated: “Paul Tassi joked that we were gonna have a gun called Hawk 2A and a fellow dev asked me if it was real and I wanted to put my hand down the sink grinder”. EpicNNG posted on X that “Hawk 2A is next”, so here’s hoping any Borderlands 4 DLC is written up and ready to go before Winkler does something drastic.

If this has somehow convinced you to try out Borderlands 4, why not check out our Borderlands 4 review! In it reviewer Rick Lane concludes: “Borderlands 4 brings a more sensible script and a true open world to its pseudo-cel-shaded gun-show. But these moderate improvements are undermined by frustrating exploration and combat that takes too long to properly shine.”

Leaked PUBG Mobile Ad Shows Sonic Fighting A Skibidi Toilet

by admin September 24, 2025

A CG-rendered trailer for PUBG Mobile‘s next big update appears to confirm previous rumors that Sonic the Hedgehog is going to be appearing soon in the popular mobile port of the battle royale game. But it also features Sega’s mascot fighting… Skibidi Toilets?

On September 24, Sonic Hotspot on Twitter posted what appears to be a real trailer for a yet-to-be-announced or confirmed Sonic crossover event in the long-running PUBG Mobile. This was spotted and sshared by SonicStadium.org on Bluesky. The pre-rendered event trailer shows Sonic the Hedgehog fighting a massive Skibidi Toilet character. Here’s the leaked trailer, and sorry in advance. I was going to link a YouTube re-upload of it, but that has since been removed. Hmm..

Skibidi Toilets, which were created as part of a now massively popular YouTube animated series of shorts, were already announced to be coming to PUBG Mobile later this month, so it’s no surprise they are popping up in a leaked trailer. And Sonic has been rumored to be coming to PUBG Mobile for a few months now. Sega’s beloved mascot was even teased last month in an official PUBG Mobile post promising six new collaborations. So that’s also not a big surprise for fans, but a nice confirmation that he’ll be here soon. However, I don’t think anybody was expecting Sonic’s reveal to include Skibidi Toilets.

There is something deeply depressing about watching Sonic fight a Skibidi Toilet. It feels like my fears that all of pop culture will one day merge together into a single giant, boring blob of content are coming true, and faster than expected. Everything is becoming Fortnite, and because all of this crossover slop is making companies millions of dollars, it’s unlikely to stop anytime soon.

And so, that’s how we end up in a timeline where some silly videos made using the Source Engine have become a massively popular IP that has attracted the attention (and money) of Michael Bay. Sonic, you deserve better. We all do. Yet, here we are.

‘Skibidi,’ ‘Tradwife,’ and 6,000 Other New Words Are in the Dictionary Now

by admin August 19, 2025

Before you roll your eyes at the Gen Alpha in your life for using made-up words, you might want to check the latest update to the dictionary. Cambridge University announced that its most recent revisions to the Cambridge Dictionary add 6,000 new words, including a slew of internet-pilled ones like skibidi, tradwife, and delulu.

“It’s not every day you get to see words like skibidi and delulu make their way into the Cambridge Dictionary. We only add words where we think they’ll have staying power. Internet culture is changing the English language, and the effect is fascinating to observe and capture in the Dictionary,” Colin McIntosh, Lexical Program Manager at Cambridge Dictionary, said in a statement.

Note that the measurement here is staying power, not whether we want it to stick around. To McIntosh’s point, “skibidi”—defined as “a word that can have different meanings such as ‘cool’ or ‘bad,’ or can be used with no real meaning as a joke”—has already been around for nearly a decade, with its first usage tracked to a 2018 song released by Little Big. The song, titled “Skibidi,” has over 700 million views on YouTube. Of course, the term came to prominence in 2023 thanks to a deeply brain-rotted YouTube series and became so popular that Kim Kardashian wore the word on a necklace for no apparent reason.

Another entry, ‘tradwife,’ is fascinating to consider in terms of staying power, as it references an older model of familial structure. It’s literally short for “traditional wife,” suggesting that the users recognize that the term “wife” has moved away from their preferred definition. Interestingly, Cambridge identifies tradwife as a uniquely online identity, defining it as “a married woman, especially one who posts on social media, who stays at home doing cooking, cleaning, etc. and has children that she takes care of.”

A link to the internet or technology is a central aspect of many of Cambridge’s new terms. Others that made the cut include “mouse jiggler,” referring to software that keeps your screen active so it looks like you’re working, and “broligarchy,” defined as “a small group of men, especially men owning or involved in a technology business, who are extremely rich and powerful, and who have or want political influence.” We’ll give you three guesses as to whom that term applies.

One term that is not particularly modern but has just made the cut: “work spouse.” Which is defined as “a person with whom someone has a close, but not romantic, relationship at work, in which the two people help and trust each other in the same way that a married couple does.” That one almost feels like a word from another era, making it a fascinating inclusion in a tech-heavy batch.

If seeing some of those terms make it into the dictionary gets you riled up, you should know that Cambridge is constantly adding new words. You don’t have to use them, but it’s nice to be able to look them up when others do.

Why the skibidi are you adding skibidi to the Cambridge Dictionary? We think it has “staying power”, answer word boffins

by admin August 18, 2025

Skibidi. Dop, dop, dop. Yes, yes. Skibidi. Double u. Neem, neem. This is the clarion call of the modern age, the infernal message brought unto our virgin ears by the Skibidi Toilets. No, wait, keep reading! It’ll be worth it. Probably. After all, the word skibidi has now been added to the Cambridge Dictionary, and this is a reality we’ve all got to reckon with.

Skibidi Toilet, in case you’ve been living somewhere free from the influence of vertically-framed surrealism, is a long-running series of 3D animations by YouTuber Alexey ‘DaFuq!?Boom!’ Gerasimov. It generally conveys the tale of a great war between a legion of heads protruding from loos and an army of folks with cameras for heads, with help from Half-Life 2 assets and inspiration from the annals of Garry’s Mod machinima. Any 12 year olds you know probably can’t get enough of it. Or think it’s lame because they’ve already moved on to the next thing.

Anyway, as if Michael Bay spearheading efforts to make a Skibidi Toilet movie wasn’t enough reason for you to be aware of this lavatory entertainment, the folks behind the Cambridge Dictionary are adding it to their great tome of words this year. I should stress here that it’s one of thousands of words being added to the annals. The others include the likes of tradwife, delulu, broligarchy, and mouse jiggler.

“It’s not every day you get to see words like ‘skibidi’ and ‘delulu’ make their way into the Cambridge Dictionary. We only add words where we think they’ll have staying power,” said the tradebook of terminology’s lexical programme manager, Colin McIntosh.

So, the bookish boffins clearly think the skibidi era’s more than a passing fad. I for one look forward to historians in centuries’ time blowing the dust off of tomes so they can scan through firsthand accounts of the skibidi era. Weathered folks in fields gasping in awe as their trowels unearth plastic designed to resemble part of G-Toilet’s unholy ceramic bowl. I mean, to be fair, they’re also definitely going to discover people posed like this with the likes of Stellar Blade burned into their screens. We can only pray that we’re not brought back as Futurama-style heads-in-jars to explain any of this.

At the very least, this cultural event that’s just about linked to video games has at least finally taught me what skibidi means. “A word that can have different meanings such as ‘cool’ or ‘bad’, or can be used with no real meaning as a joke”, is how the Cambridge Dictionary defines the term. The example sentence given is “What the skibidi are you doing?”.

Hang on a minute, maybe this is the sort of versatile expression Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick could use to convey the sorts of games his company are striving to make! If good is bad and great is the new great, then maybe GTA 6 can only be accurately described as skibidi.

I’m preparing to petition my co-workers to add this important term to the RPS style guide, along with an instruction that it must be used in every article that doesn’t cover uber-serious news, on pain of death. Wish me luck in climbing out of the skip Edwin, James, and Nic will rightly lob me into.
