Persona 4 Remake Announces Itself With Laughably Short Trailer

During today’s Xbox Summer Game Fest event, the long-rumored remake of Persona 4 was finally announced… but that’s about all we got from the ridiculously short teaser revealing the upcoming remake.

Here’s the trailer for Persona 4 Revival, which doesn’t have a release date:

In the extremely (incredibly) brief teaser released by Atlus during the event, we saw a few seconds of gameplay, got a name for the remake, and a list of platforms that the remake of the beloved JRPG will be available on in the future.

Persona 4 Revival has been rumored for years now, with leakers and insiders hinting at the game’s existence. And then on May 28, Persona 4 voice actor Yuri Lowenthal posted on BlueSky—in response to fans asking him about the then-rumored remake and his return—saying that he wasn’t coming back despite possibly begging Atlus to return.

“And for those who keep asking, no, I will not be returning as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake,” posted Lowenthal, who also voices Spider-Man in the Insomniac games on PS4/PS5. “I asked. Maybe I even begged, but they don’t want me to come back.”

This was a big hint that the remake was happening. And now, courtesy of Summer Game Fest, we finally got a teaser. There’s not really much to it, but I suspect fans of the original Persona 4 and the franchise as a whole will be digging into every frame to see what they can uncover.

Persona 4 Revival arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in the future. No Switch 2 port was announced. Which is odd, but hey, maybe things will change between now and whenever the remake finally arrives.

Tron: Catalyst gets a short but sweet surprise demo ahead of its release later this month

Tron is a world that I feel constantly surprised by its perseverance in just flat out still being a thing all these years later. And yet, I never feel upset about it given that the vibes of Tron just absolutely rule no matter the context in which they’re being delivered, the upcoming Jared Leto led film notwithstanding because of that guy’s whole vibe. In terms of what’s actually next for the fictitious video game world, there’s Tron: Catalyst from the folks over Bithell Games, and as it so happens, there’s a demo out for it today!


The demo, available on Steam, apparently makes up the first hour of the game, which certainly sounds like a healthy amount of time to suss out its vibes. In case you missed the announcement on this one, Tron: Catalyst is a top-down, sort of but not quite isometric action game where you play as Exo, a courier whose life gets shaken up by a mysterious package exploding leaving him with unusual abilities.


It’s set in the Arq Grid, a location previously established in Bithell Games’ Tron: Identity, a visual novel set in the Disney-owned universe. Storywise, the Arq Grid is a bit unstable, with glitches causing time to loop, and only Exo can see them. Lots of good stuff to latch onto here, and yes, you do have a Disc to fight with and a Light Cycle to ride around on, everything you’d want from a Tron game is here.


If you’re not the demo type, one, did you never buy a copy of Official PlayStation Magazine in the 2000s, and, two, that’s fine, because it’s due out on June 17th, just a couple of weeks away. I’m sure that’s enough time to get some distance from the launch of the Switch 2, and Summer Game Fest, and tomorrow’s PlayStation showcase, and the millions of other showcases happening in way too short of a timespan.

Wave Structure Puts XRP Price In The $18.22-$23.20 Range In The Short Term

The XRP price may be on the verge of a huge breakout, as a new wave structure points to a potential surge toward the $18.22 to $23.20 price range in the short term. This distinct wave structure has emerged on the weekly chart, echoing historical patterns and well-defined technical frameworks that preceded a significant rally in late 2024. 

Massive XRP Price Rally Incoming

At the core of this short-term price analysis published by crypto analyst Dark Defender on X (formerly Twitter) is the appearance of a unique Elliott Wave structure now visible on the XRP weekly chart. According to the analyst’s forecast, XRP is set to complete its first two waves and is getting ready to enter Wave 3. 

Recently, XRP broke through a long-standing descending resistance line and is now approaching a key mid-level target around the $5.85 to $6.39 range within Wave 3. While reaching this bullish range is important for the altcoin to initiate its next leg up, the main focus is on the upper targets between $18.22 and $23.20. Dark Defender has boldly forecasted that XRP, currently trading at $2.18, could see a massive price surge to $23 by November 2025, which is the anticipated peak of Wave 5.

A historical reference from November 2024 further reinforces this optimistic outlook. At the time, the crypto analyst notes that XRP displayed a clear technical wave configuration that led to a strong upward move. The same structure appears to be playing out once again, now with stronger technical signals and a decisive resistance break.

Based on XRP’s projected bullish trajectory on the weekly chart, the altcoin is expected to make a minor correction toward the $2.1 – $1.92 range before launching into Wave 3. This next move could see XRP break past the mid-level target and peak around $11 by September. 

After reaching the Wave 3 top, a corrective Wave 4 is anticipated, potentially triggering a major breakdown to the $7 – $8 zone. Once this consolidation phase ends, XRP is likely to progress into the final bullish Wave 5, aiming for the ambitious upside target between $18.22 and $23.20, which represents a rally from 735% to 963%. 

XRP MVRV Golden Cross Signals Big Move Ahead

The broader market sentiment around XRP is shifting bullish, as experts predict a strong rally on the horizon. According to on-chain analyst Ali Martinez, XRP has just printed a rare and potentially significant Golden Cross between its Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio and the 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA).

The emergence of this Golden Cross pattern suggests that long-term sentiment may be aligning with a renewed wave of optimism. Building on this key indicator, Martinez has boldly predicted that this crossover could mark the beginning of the next major leg up for XRP.

James Wynn, a crypto trader who has been sharing his positions on the X (formerly Twitter) platform, has quickly become popular after his large Bitcoin positions went viral. So far, James has opened multiple billion-dollar positions and has garnered a large following after his admirable win rate. The crypto trader has also managed to cross in 8-figure territory in terms of gains. Two of his latest trades have caught attention, and this report takes a look at how the trader has managed these positions.

Billion-Dollar Bitcoin Long And Short Positions

While James Wynn had been gaining a lot of attention for being a top 5 trader on the Hyperliquid platform in terms of PNL, his most recent round of trades have garnered even more attention. Last week, the crypto trader stunned the community when he opened a $1.2 billion long position, with 40x leverage. With a close liquidation price of $105,179, this seemed to be a risky position, and as the Bitcoin price fluctuated, so did the PNL of the position.

As the Bitcoin price moved lower toward the weekend, the trader would close this billion-dollar long position for a $13.4 million loss. After this, James Wynn quickly flipped directions and placed another billion-dollar perp position, but this time in favor of the Bitcoin price going down.

With an entry price sitting just above $107, this would prove to be a fatal decision for the trader as the Bitcoin price began to move upward. Once again, Wynn was forced to close this massive perp position, resulting in a heavier loss of $15.87 million. In total, the perp trader lost almost $28 million in a 24-hour period, according to Hyperliquid data.

What’s Next For James Wynn?

Following the closure of his short position, James Wynn took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation. In the post, he explained that after the massive losses, he was looking at no longer playing at perps anymore. Additionally, he revealed that despite the losses, he remains $25 million in the green after starting with a $3-$4 million initial position.

The post drew speculation from the crypto community, with some arguing that the crypto trader would not just stop trading. This proved to be right as only hours later, Wynn was back on Hyperliquid to place multiple bets on new positions.

The crypto trader initially focused on longing PEPE, which has been one of his most profitable coins to trade, earning him over $25 million in profit. He soon opened another Bitcoin long position with an entry price of $109,733.

At the time of writing, James has closed his PEPE position after almost getting liquidated as the Bitcoin price plummed. The Bitcoin long position remains, but has been reduced by half to $439 million. In total, the trader took a $4.4 million loss already, and his Bitcoin position remains shaky at a -$4.12 million loss.

Praise the Omnissiah, Warhammer 40,000; Mechanicus 2 just got a new gameplay trailer, featuring a short glimpse at a new faction

A gameplay trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 has just been revealed during today’s Warhammer Skulls event, and it features a special surprise for fans of the newer era of the 40k narrative. The Leagues of Votann, the newest faction added to the tabletop game, are making their video game debut.

This new trailer, which you can watch below, looks like a fancier and shiner update of the first game (which makes sense). Characters present in the first game are making a return including all of your advisors, and you’ll be battling against the Necron once again on Hekateus IV.

As for the Leagues of Votann, we see them represented with various units, including Hearthkyn (AI comrades), Beserks, and standard warriors. It’s not clear yet what role they’ll play in the narrative, it seems as though whether or not they’re friend of foe is going to be a major mystery going into the game, but it’s cool to see them get some love in Warhammer’s continued push into the video game space.

Mechanicus 2 is in development right now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and it set to release at some point later this year. No exact release date has been revealed quite yet, so you’ll have to hang in there until more info drops. If you’re looking to kill some time and haven’t played the first game, it’s currently on sale on Steam for 80%. It’ll also be free for a while, so at least try it out!
