Harry Potter’s Heirs Would Hate This, LEGO Is Selling the Hogwarts Castle Set for Pennies on the Dollar

by admin October 4, 2025

Harry Potter is one of LEGO’s most beloved franchises, and the Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set has earned a stellar 4.8 out of 5-star rating on Amazon with over 1,800 reviews backing it up. LEGO’s official website shows zero discounts on this flagship model and maintains the strict pricing the company is known for. But Amazon isn’t playing by those rules.

Right now, this 2,660-piece castle has dropped from $169 to just $135, marking an all-time low for the best-selling Harry Potter LEGO set. This deal is accessible to everyone, including non-Prime members, which makes it even more appealing.

A Complete Miniature Replica of the Wizarding School

It is the first LEGO brick model that includes the entire Hogwarts Castle and its grounds in a single build. Earlier sets focused on a solitary tower, classroom, or section, but this 2,660-piece model presents the entire campus to you in one continuous display. The construction includes the Main Tower with its signature pointed roof, the Astronomy Tower where the students study the stars, the Great Hall where banquets and ceremonies take place, as well as several courtyards and cross-bridges that lead to various sections of the castle.

The scale allows the LEGO designers to include recognisable details without overwhelming builders with tens of thousands of pieces. You will construct the Chamber of Secrets hidden beneath the school, the Winged Key room of Harry’s first-year nightmare, the Potions Classroom where Snape taught in the dungeons, and the large Chessboard Chamber from the Philosopher’s Stone challenges. The grounds surrounding consist of the Boathouse where students arrive by boat, the Black Lake in front, the greenhouses for Herbology class lessons and the Whomping Willow that attacks anything getting too close.

Other features recreate scenes from around the film series: The Durmstrang Ship comes out of the lake just as it did when Durmstrang participants arrived during the Triwizard Tournament in Goblet of Fire. The powder-blue Beauxbatons Carriage is present on the grounds, representing the arrival of the French school of magic. The crashed Ford Anglia is a part of the Forbidden Forest trees after the failed flight by Ron and Harry in Chamber of Secrets.

The finished model measures 13.5 inches wide, 10 inches in depth, and 8.5 inches in height, large enough to be seen on a shelf or desk but not big enough to require special furniture. The build is supported on a highly detailed baseplate that is sculpted as the grounds of the castle with textured areas representing grass, pathways, and water. There is a gold mini-figure statue representing the Hogwarts architect which you can put near the nameplate “Hogwarts Castle” or in the corner of the baseplate to give it an extra visual touch.

For $135 for 2,660 pieces, you are paying around 5 cents per brick which is excellent value in the price system of LEGO.

Complete History Of Middle-Earth Collector's Box Set Restocked With $170 Discount

Complete History Of Middle-Earth Collector’s Box Set Restocked With $170 Discount

by admin October 4, 2025

After selling out earlier this week, The Complete History of Middle-earth: Collector’s Box Set is back in stock at Amazon with a massive discount. The 5,440-page, three-book collector’s set is on sale for $80.65 (was $250) in Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days book promotion. The 68% drop–nearly $170 off–is the steepest price cut offered by Amazon since William Morrow published the collector’s set in 2020. Since Amazon has already sold out of this deal multiple times this week, you probably shouldn’t wait too long to snag this one. Like many other J.R.R. Tolkien and Lord of the Rings book deals Amazon is offering this weekend, you need to be a Prime member to get The Complete History of Middle-earth for this low price.

Alternatively, all four of the 2024 hardcover box sets collecting The History of Middle-earth and The Silmarillion are on sale for up to 66% off.

$80.65 (was $250) | Restocked on October 4

Published in 2020 with an MSRP of $250, The Complete History of Middle-earth is a wonderfully designed and constructed box set. Each book is heavy, but even the 2,000-plus page second volume offers a pleasant reading experience. Each book comes with a dust jacket and can be stored and displayed in a premium, custom-built case emblazoned with J.R.R. Tolkien’s iconic logo.

Based on Tolkien’s Legendarium–a massive collection of backstories, lore, and notes covering Middle-earth throughout thousands of years–The History of Middle-earth was originally published from 1983-1996. Christopher Tolkien, the author’s son and literary executor, compiled, edited, and added to the legendarium to create 12 distinct books.

The Complete History of Middle-earth contains all 12 volumes in their original publication chronology:

  1. Book of Lost Tales, Part I
  2. Book of Lost Tales, Part II
  3. The Lays of Beleriand
  4. The Shaping of Middle-earth
  5. The Lost Road and Other Writings
  6. The Return of the Shadow
  7. The Treason of Isengard
  8. The War of the Ring
  9. Sauron Defeated
  10. Morgoth’s Ring
  11. The War of the Jewels
  12. The Peoples of Middle-earth

At 5,440 pages across three books, it’s probably safe to say that these would be the largest books on most fans’ bookshelves. Each of the three volumes was also published individually on the same day as the box set, but at current prices, you’d spend more for two of them than you would for the box set.

The History of Middle-earth Box Sets (2024)

The History of Middle-earth 2024 Box Sets

Though The Complete History of Middle-earth is the most economical way to read all 12 volumes in physical format, the 2024 box sets are certainly worth a look, too. These gorgeous sets include splashy, fully illustrated dust jackets and display cases. If you prefer a more traditional look, the other side of the reversible dust jackets feature the original graphics with solid-color backgrounds.

All 12 volumes are included as individual books across the four sets, but if you go this route, you’ll also get a few extra books. Publisher William Morrow decided to include The Silmarillion as the first book in Box Set 1. The Silmarillion, Tolkien’s best-known work besides The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, is often lumped in with The History of Middle-earth these days–and it makes sense why. Early drafts and parts of the 1977 classic are actually in the 12-volume series. Box Set 1 also includes Unfinished Tales, while the final set has a book-length index.

William Morrow continued its series of decorative Tolkien hardcover box sets this summer with Tolkien Myths and Legends, a four-book box set that’s on sale for $53.70 (was $125), and The Great Tales of Middle-earth, which contains Tolkien’s final three novels and is on sale for $75 (was $125).

Prime Big Deal Days: The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion

The Lord of the Rings Collector’s Editions (William Morrow)

Amazon’s early Prime Big Deal Days book sale is filled with Tolkien books, including multiple collectible editions of The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Silmarillion.

LEGO Is Going All In, Its 4.9-Rated Star Wars R2-D2 Set Is Selling for Pennies

by admin October 4, 2025

Star Wars remains LEGO’s most coveted license with countless sets from the franchise earning exceptional ratings from builders worldwide. The adorable R2-D2 droid exemplifies this success perfectly and boasts a 4.9 out of 5 stars across thousands of reviews. By fortunate timing, this set has just dropped to an all-time low on Amazon, and it’s flying off the shelves: At $79 down from its usual $99 price, this 1,050-piece building experience delivers both a satisfying construction project and a display piece that captures one of cinema’s most iconic characters in brick form.

See at Amazon

No introduction is needed to any Star Wars aficionado for R2-D2. The clever astromech droid has appeared in every but the most insignificant Star Wars films and TV shows and saves the heroes with technological magic and unflinching perseverance time and again. This LEGO set remains true to R2’s charm with meticulous care for detail and playful interactive features. The completed model stands over 9 inches high, 6 inches wide, and 4 inches deep, which makes a grand impression without taking up too much of your shelf real estate.

Interactive Details That Bring R2-D2 to Life

R2-D2’s dome head will rotate 360 degrees so that you can pose him like he’s scanning his surroundings or reacting to droids and minifigures across from him. This rotating system uses LEGO Technic parts hidden in the build to create smooth motion without loosening after extended periods. The third leg that is removable also flexes and folds, emulating R2’s movement from the films in which he transitions from his stable three-legged form to his faster two-wheeled wheel mode. An attachable periscope replica’s the sensor that sticks out of R2’s dome during recon missions and other attachable tools wink to the many various gadgets he’s dispatched throughout the saga, from arc welders to drink service trays.

The set includes a bonus 25th Anniversary Darth Malak minifigure and celebrates LEGO Star Wars’ quarter century milestone. Darth Malak is from the well-loved Knights of the Old Republic video game and belongs to the wider Star Wars universe beyond the films. Including him not only provides collectibility but also provides you with an option for a display other than R2-D2 himself.

The building experience uses 1,050 pieces and offers a number of hours of enjoyable constructing that is appropriate for 10 years and up. LEGO instruction guides guide you through the construction with numbered bags that organize pieces by build phase, precluding the overwhelming feeling of pouring all pieces into one heap.

For $79, you’re getting excellent value for an officially licensed LEGO set of this size and sophistication. Star Wars fans, here is your opportunity.

16,380,000,000 Dogecoin Might Set DOGE Price up for ‘Uptober’

by admin October 1, 2025

October appears to have gotten off on a good note for Dogecoin (DOGE), the king of meme coins. The asset is bullish, and investors’ interest in the meme coin has also spiked. In the last 24 hours, Dogecoin’s open interest has jumped by 2.89% as investors bet on the future price outlook.

Gate exchange investors lead Dogecoin open interest sentiment

According to CoinGlass data, a total of 16.38 billion DOGE valued at $3.96 billion has been committed to the derivatives market. The locking of billions of DOGE signals that futures traders are bullish about the meme coin, likely because many anticipate a price rally in October.

The surge in Dogecoin’s open interest was likely triggered by the meme coin’s price rebound on the crypto market. DOGE recovered from its price fluctuations and instability to breach the $0.24 level. This has fueled hope of more of an uptick, hence, investors were willing to commit more funds to betting on its possible upsurge.

Traders who were most bullish on further price growth are concentrated on the Gate exchange, as these accounted for 27.21% of the total open interest. Investors on Gate bet $1.08 billion, or 4.45 billion DOGE, in the future derivatives market.

Binance, Bybit and Bitget complete the top four with 19.83%, 14.1% and 1.87%, respectively, of the open interest. In fiat terms, it amounts to $785.69 million, $558.88 million and $470.24 million, in that order.

The meme coin’s performance within this period has matched the expectations of traders. As of press time, Dogecoin exchanges at $0.2428, which represents a 5.51% increase in the last 24 hours. The meme coin still has the potential for upward movement as it previously hit a peak of $0.2444.

There has also been an upsurge in trading volume by 9.49% to $2.67 billion. This came as DOGE cleared a critical price resistance level, leading holders to act positively toward the asset.

Uptober rally targets $0.30 and beyond

Historical data shows that Dogecoin has an average growth rate of 11% in October. With investors pumped up for trading, bullish sentiment might drive prices up in an “Uptober rally.”

The first price target for holders of DOGE is for the meme coin to flip $0.30. Since the price slipped below this level in early February 2025, each attempt to reclaim it has met with resistance. Dogecoin bulls are hoping to push prices above this level amid increased sentiment.

Popular market analyst Ali Martinez predicts that if bulls hold support and momentum persists, a breakout could see DOGE flip $0.50.

Ares' Set Behavior Was Maybe His Least Weird-Ass Set Behavior

Ares’ Set Behavior Was Maybe His Least Weird-Ass Set Behavior

by admin October 1, 2025

Jared Leto is known for a lot of things at this point, but one thing that he’s perhaps very known for is his approach to getting in character on-set. Leto is a tried and true method performer, and his turn as the titular program in the upcoming Tron: Ares was no exception to that process.

Which might mean you’re bracing yourself to hear how Leto could possibly have gotten into method acting for playing a digital warrior made up of code that comes from a computerized alt-world. After all, this is the man who hobbled about on crutches during the production of Morbius—to the point of contributing to the film’s production delays—or showed up to the set of Blade Runner 2049 pretending to be blind.

Or, perhaps most infamously, allegedly sent his Suicide Squad castmates animals (living and dead) and used condoms, among other things. So what could Leto have possibly done to maintain his method cred for Tron?

Turns out, it was significantly less weird than you’d expect: he simply forbade people on set from referring to him by name. Instead, it was Ares or nothing (or Air, if you’re Jeff Bridges, according to a recent interview on the Sirius XM show Literally! with Rob Lowe).

“I do address him as Ares when we’re filming and everybody goes, we get a little bit up. He’s the general walking onto set, which is fine,” Ares director Joachim Rønning recently told Screenrant. “And it’s not uncommon for actors to do it like that. And it works for him. And I think you can feel it in any movie he makes. He’s completely into the character.”

According to Rønning, it was the least he could do to help Leto get into the character of an AI supersoldier. “I know he’s a little wary about talking about his [process], I would say it’s his method,” the director continued. “It’s like, yes, he’s in character for the most part when we did this film, but that’s great. Honestly for me as a director, whatever works, I think he’s one of the best actors in the world.”

Still, considering the lengths that Leto has gone to get into a character in the past, simply asking to go by his role’s name means everyone on the Ares set got off lightly.

Tron: Ares is set to hit theaters October 10.

5 features that set Leverage.Trading apart in crypto market

by admin September 29, 2025

Leverage moves fast, and so do mistakes. In the summer of 2025, data from Leverage.Trading’s calculators captured that reality in stark detail, with nearly 85% of liquidation checks coming from mobile devices, and sharp spikes in risk testing just before billion-dollar wipeouts.

This Project Review takes a closer look at Leverage.Trading, the independent brand behind those signals. What is Leverage.Trading?

Leverage.Trading is an independent educational and analytics brand focused on crypto leverage, margin trading, futures, and derivatives. Founded by trader and analyst Anton Palovaara and operated by Prospective Aimline S.L. in Córdoba, Spain, the publisher combines pro-grade calculators (liquidation price, leverage, position size, futures, funding, risk–reward, stop loss, margin call), plain-English strategy guides, and transparent platform reviews built on a published methodology.

Since 2022, more than 850,000 traders in over 200 countries have used its tools and guides, generating more than 15 million calculations to date. The Leverage.Trading brand is defined by its risk-first editorial approach: before traders commit capital, they are encouraged to run the numbers, pressure-test assumptions, and know where liquidation might strike.

Features

1) Calculator suite

Leverage.Trading’s calculators are the engine room of the brand. Each tool strips away jargon and gives traders a clear read on their exposure:

  • Liquidation Price Calculator: The go‑to “how close am I to the edge?” check, surfacing buffer and maintenance margin at a glance.
  • Leverage Calculator: Works backward from margin and position size to show the leverage ratio required, margin needed, and profit potential.
  • Crypto Futures Calculator: Covers long or short setups, outputting P/L, margin requirements, liquidation levels, and maximum open size from a simple set of inputs.
  • Position Size Calculator: Converts account risk percentage and stop distance into an exact size, keeping small accounts disciplined.
  • Funding Rate Calculator: Translates hourly and daily funding into real holding costs.
  • Risk–Reward and Stop Loss Calculators: A back‑to‑basics pair that aligns targets and exits with actual math.
  • Margin Call Calculators (long and short): Model where a margin call would hit at different leverage levels.
  • Trading Calculator (Simulate Day Trades): Lets traders test capital, risk per trade, win rate, and reward‑to‑risk ratio across multiple trades to preview likely outcomes.

These tools are built with a mobile‑first design, quick inputs, and concise outputs. Collectively, they have been run more than 15 million times, making them a regular checkpoint for traders worldwide.

2) Educational coverage

Beyond calculators, Leverage.Trading has built a library of explainers that act more like field guides than theory notes. The focus is on crypto leverage, margin trading, crypto futures, and derivatives, with crossover coverage of forex and equities where leverage mechanics overlap.

Each guide follows a consistent pattern: a clear definition up top, a walkthrough in plain English, worked examples, calculator tie‑ins for hands‑on learning, and a short FAQ. The tone avoids hype and stays grounded in real scenarios.

Representative coverage includes:

  • Crypto leverage and margin essentials: Primers like What is Crypto Margin Trading?, What Is Liquidation Price?, Cross Margin vs Isolated Margin, What Is Over‑Leverage in Trading?, and What Is a Margin Call?
  • Futures and contracts: Walk‑throughs such as What Is Crypto Futures Trading?, What Are Perpetual Futures Contracts?, and USDT‑M vs COIN‑M.
  • Risk, fees and safeguards: Practical breakdowns of costs and protections, including Fees, Negative Balance Protection, and Do You Have to Pay Back Leverage?
  • US and exchange coverage: Jurisdictional clarity through articles like Is Leverage Trading Legal in the USA? and roundups of Leading Crypto Margin Trading Exchanges and U.S. Crypto Futures Trading Platforms.

3) Transparent platform reviews and comparisons

Leverage.Trading also compares crypto leverage platforms and crypto futures exchanges on a global scale with a strict, risk‑first rubric: licensing, KYC posture, leverage limits, fees, liquidity depth, and risk controls. Reviews are carried out with real accounts and published with clear pros and cons so readers can match platforms to their needs.

A dedicated focus is given to US‑friendly options. Where platforms allow American users, coverage highlights availability, regulation/license checks, KYC requirements, and relevant limits. US‑focused pages are updated regularly, ensuring readers in the States have a current picture of what’s accessible.

Commercially, the brand maintains a transparent stance: rankings are not sold, and any affiliate relationships are disclosed. Comparisons include call‑to‑action links, but placement is editorially determined.

4) Data and insights: Global Leverage & Risk Report

First released in August 2025, the Global Leverage & Risk Report offers a rare look at how traders prepare for risk before trades are placed. Built from anonymized calculator usage, it highlights spikes in liquidation checks, leverage choices, device mix, and geographic patterns during volatile stretches.

Highlights from the first release (Aug 2025):

  • Roughly 85% of liquidation checks happened on mobile between Jul 14–Aug 17, underscoring how risk management has gone mobile‑first.
  • On Jul 11, liquidation checks surged 5× hours before a $1.29b short wipeout, led by traders in India, Türkiye, and the U.S.
  • Between Jul 24–26, risk checks jumped 23% globally, ahead of a $5k intraday swing and $500m+ liquidations.
  • The Aug 15–17 “panic tape” showed a +13.7% jump on Aug 15 during a $6b options expiry, a record +28.5% spike on Aug 16, and a +19.4% rise on Aug 17 before $576m in liquidations as Bitcoin slid from ~$124k to $115k.

The report has already drawn strong interest from both media and traders, and follow‑up editions are planned. Its method is simple: anonymized inputs benchmarked against baselines, presented as behavioral context rather than prediction.

5) UX, access and trust

The brand emphasizes usability and transparency:

  • Mobile‑first design keeps tools quick and clear on any screen.
  • Global reach: Tools and content are used by more than 850,000 traders in 200+ countries.
  • Legal: Terms, Privacy, Cookie, GDPR, Editorial Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, and Complaints Policy are all published and accessible.
  • Trusted platform guarantee: Every review is run by real traders, rankings are never sold, and updates refresh monthly with new user data.

Who it’s for

Leverage.Trading is aimed at traders working with leverage, from advanced beginners to intermediate levels, who want calculators, reviews, and research that frame risk clearly. It also serves journalists looking for fast, first‑party signals on retail behavior during periods of volatility.

Conclusion

Leverage.Trading positions itself as a practical companion in the world of leveraged markets. Its calculators and guides simplify complex mechanics, its reviews shine a light on crypto leverage platforms and futures exchanges, and its data reports provide early signals of market stress. Strengths lie in its mobile‑first tools and uncompromising risk focus. While the coverage is clearly tailored for leverage traders rather than spot‑only beginners, the site has carved out a valuable role: helping readers test their assumptions before committing capital.

Solana ETF Set for $1 Trillion? Bitwise CEO Shares Optimistic Outlook

by admin September 28, 2025

Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley has revealed his expectations concerning the firm’s U.S. Solana ETF.

Horsley had stated in a recent X post that Europe’s Bitwise Solana staking ETP saw $60 million in inflows this week. “Solana on people’s minds,” Horsley said.

Reacting to this post, an X user asked the Bitwise CEO about his projection of inflows for the company’s U.S. Solana ETFs post approval. Horsley responded, “$1 trillion first day,” adding “second day is anyone’s guess,” highlighting growing institutional demand for Solana exposure.

$1 trillion first day

second day is anyone’s guess

— Hunter Horsley (@HHorsley) September 26, 2025

Several applications for Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) with staking could receive U.S. approval by mid-October, Nate Geraci, the president of NovaDius Wealth Management, predicts following new filings.

Geraci noted that asset managers, including Bitwise, have filed amended S-1 documents for spot Solana ETFs to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Friday. The S-1 document is a comprehensive disclosure outlining the company’s financials, risk profile and the securities they intend to offer.

“Another flurry of S-1 amendments filed today on spot sol ETFs… Franklin, Fidelity, CoinShares, Bitwise, Grayscale, VanEck, & Canary includes staking (yes, bodes well for spot eth ETF staking). Guessing these are approved [within the] next two weeks,” Geraci said.

Get ready for October?

Geraci indicated that October could be significant for the crypto market, pointing to recent developments in the market, such as the first Hyperliquid ETF filing, and the SEC’s approval of generic listing standards for crypto ETFs.

“Get ready for October,” Geraci said. Expectations remain up for October, considered bullish for cryptocurrencies.

At the time of writing, Solana was down 2.81% in the last 24 hours to $196 and 19% weekly as the crypto market saw a sell-off this week in reaction to macroeconomic concerns.

Forza Horizon 6 will be set exactly where we expected it to be set

by admin September 27, 2025

The next grand open-world setting for the next Forza Horizon game will be Japan, Microsoft has accidentally announced, and it will be released in 2026.

The announcement came via an Instagram post on the official Forza Horizon account. This let slip, ahead of a Tokyo Game Show 2025 Xbox briefing today, that “The Horizon Festival is heading to Japan. Coming 2026.” The post has since been removed. Whoops!

Image credit: Playground Games / Microsoft

The full announcement is expected to occur in the Xbox briefing that’s only moments away – due to begin at 11am UK time. How much of the game we’ll see, we don’t yet know, nor how much of Japan it will allow us to explore.

Forza Horizon 5 was released four years ago now, in 2021, and this year debuted on PlayStation 5, in the spring. Tom thinks it’s one of the greatest racing games of all time. Given that, the question of whether this new instalment could launch on PlayStation 5 is probably more “when?” rather than “if?”. Or, “How long will Microsoft keep it exclusive to Xbox for?”

After Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, gacha master HoYoverse set its sights on the Animal Crossing-like cosy sim genre

by admin September 27, 2025

Petit Planet – a new cosy life sim from the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail – has been announced.

The game currently has PC and mobile versions confirmed, with “additional platforms” in development according to the official press release alongside the reveal. Petit Planet has you build up and develop your own tiny planet, eventually venturing out into a galaxy filled with other planets owned by cutesy NPCs.

A reveal trailer (which you can watch below) showcases what the game will look like, with a character building up a nice little home, meeting various animal friends, before hopping in a car and taking to the stars to meet a cast of other furry fellows on their own home planets.

Here’s the Petit Planet reveal trailer!Watch on YouTube

Those interested can pre-register for the game right now on the official website, as well as sign up for upcoming beta tests. There’s no word as to when these beta tests will occur or when the sign ups will close as of writing.

Rumours around a HoYoverse life sim have been circulating for a while, with the internal name Astaweave Haven known thanks to early leaks. However, this recent reveal marks the first official word on the game as well as the first peak we’ve been able to get of polished gameplay.

There is no information on how monetisation will work for Petit Planet, though given this is a HoYoverse game the expectation is that the game will feature gacha mechanics as found in Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.

This isn’t the only game HoYoverse has in the works. The developer revealed Honkai: Nexus Anima earlier this year, a Pokemon-style creature collector and auto-battler. Petit Planet has entered a somewhat contested genre, interestingly enough. Both Pocket Pair and Nintendo have announced their own cosy farm sims in Palfarm and Pokémon Pokopia.

The Gathering Set And Secret Lair Drop Revealed For 2026

by admin September 27, 2025

MagicCon Atlanta just kicked off and with it, the roadmap for Magic: The Gathering in 2026. It includes seven sets and more branded crossovers than you can shake a Black Lotus at. If you thought this year was overstuffed, just wait. From Lorwyn and Star Trek to The Last of Us and Dwight from The Office, Wizards of the Coast is ready to take everything in your wallet, and your sanity, too.

Lorwyn Eclipsed – January 23, 2026

Wizards of the Coast

It’s been 18 years since players visited Lorwyn, the idyllic land of whimsical creatures like elves and merfolk. Lorwyn Eclipsed is one of the most-anticipated authentic MTG sets in years, with old mechanics returning to the spotlight and players getting to go back to where Planeswalkers were first introduced. I can’t believe it’s been that long. I still remember drafting my first Jace Beleren in college.

Mystery Universes Beyond set – 2026

Wizards of the Coast

Wizards of the Coast teased a mystery set it’s not ready to fully reveal yet. More details are coming during New York Comicon in October where, as others have noted, there’s a Magic and Nickelodeon panel planned. Are we getting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Rugrats? Hey Arnold? All of the above?!

Secrets of Strixhaven – April 2026

Wizards of the Coast

School is back in session. Secrets of Strixhaven will take players back to the plane of Arcavios where colleges of sorcerers-in-training compete for bragging rights in the Mage Tower. It’s Wizards’ knock-off of Harry Potter and we’ll find more about what its next set has in store in early 2026.

Marvel Super Heroes – June 2026

Wizards of the Coast

If any of the sets can rival the dominance Final Fantasy had this past summer, it’s this one. It’ll draw from characters across the Marvel universe, meaning Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, and more. There will also be all the villains to account for. I’d have preferred just an X-Men set, personally. There’s way too much material to speed through in one set. But here we are.

The Hobbit – August 2026

Wizards of the Coast

A return to Tolkien’s world of hobbits, wizards, and dragons is on the way. The Lord of the Rings set was the first MTG Universes Beyond release to make a big splash. This set will be heading back to the prequel book and pulling from an earlier part of the Third Age. Will there be another One Ring card to rule them all this time around?

Reality Fracture – October 2026

Wizards of the Coast

Wizards has been setting up Reality Fracture as a big comic-book-style event that will reverberate across its multiverse. We have no idea what to expect really, but the company is teasing “a villain you’ll have to see to believe.” Is it the friends we made along the way?

Star Trek – November 2026

Wizards of the Coast

First Lego, now MTG. I’m embarrassed about how much money I’m about to drop chasing a surge foil full alt art Jean-Luc Picard commander card. The set will feature characters and ships from across the entire franchise. I can’t wait to make a Borg deck.

Secret Lair x PlayStation Superdrop

Wizards of the Coast

Secret Lair drops are always a mess and I’m guessing this one won’t be any different. Who’s ready to spend 45 minutes in an online queue only for Wizards to sell out and refuse to let you give it $100 at the end? The Kratos art looks incredible though.

Secret Lair x Jaws: Terror of Amity Island

Wizards of the Coast

Here’s the rest of the Secret Lair drop announcements, and somehow Jaws isn’t the weirdest one.

Secret Lair x The Office: Dwight’s Destiny

Wizards of the Coast

The Office was a funny show and the world is never gonna let us forget it.

Secret Lair x Iron Maiden: Album Art

Wizards of the Coast

I defer to the Iron Maiden x MTG fans on this.

Secret Lair x Iron Maiden: Eddie Unchained

Wizards of the Coast

See above.

Secret Lair x Furby: Doo-ay Noo-lah

Wizards of the Coast

Wut?

Secret Lair x Furby: The Gathering

Wizards of the Coast

???

Secret Lair x Furby: The OddBodies

Wizards of the Coast

Absolutely not.
