How to play Wordle

Wordle’s a daily guessing game, where the goal is to correctly uncover today’s five letter word in six goes or less. An incorrect letter shows up as a grey box. A correct letter in the wrong space turns up yellow. And the correct letter in the right place shows up as green. What’s the best Wordle starting word?

Generally you want to pick something with a good mix of common consonants and vowels in it as your Wordle opener, as this is most likely to return some early green and yellow letters. Words like SLATE, CHIME, and REACT all work, but feel free to find your own favourite.

Is Wordle getting harder?

Wordle is not getting harder!

There will always be the occasional day where the answer is the name of a body part, has a sneaky double vowel, or a word obscure enough to send everyone rushing off to a dictionary. But the daily answers, edited by Tracy Bennett, are still a good mix of common terms and tougher challenges.

Remember that if you’re craving more of a challenge, you can enable Hard Mode under the ⚙️ options menu. This option doesn’t make the words themselves harder, but it requires that “any revealed hints must be used in subsequent guesses.”

How did Wordle begin?

Wordle is the creation of Josh Wardle, and began life as a small personal project before its public release in 2021. From there it’s gone on to become a global phenomenon, attracting a dedicated daily audience, billions of plays, a whole host of competitors, and even a seven-figure sale to the New York Times where it’s become a mainstay of daily games alongside the crosswords and Connections.

FTX to Distribute $1.6B to Creditors by End of September

by admin September 19, 2025

FTX announced it will commence its third distribution to creditors on September 30, 2025, releasing approximately $1.6 billion. The move is the next step in the company’s Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization, returning funds to customers and creditors affected by the exchange’s collapse.

(1/3) FTX today announced it is set to distribute approximately $1.6 billion in its Third Distribution to holders of allowed claims in the Plan’s Convenience and Non-Convenience Classes that have completed the pre-distribution requirements on September 30, 2025.

— FTX (@FTX_Official) September 19, 2025

The official statement says that creditors who are qualified and have met all the requirements, such as Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and onboarding with a designated service provider, should get their money within one to three business days of the distribution date. BitGo, Kraken, or Payoneer will be used to handle the funds.

Distribution Breakdown

The distribution percentages vary by creditor class, with some groups nearing a full recovery of their funds. Following this third payout, holders of Dotcom Customer Entitlement Claims (Class 5A) will have received a cumulative total of 78% of their allowed claim amount.

In a notable development, U.S. Customer Entitlement Claims (Class 5B) will reach a 95% cumulative distribution. Meanwhile, General Unsecured Claims and Digital Asset Loan Claims (Classes 6A and 6B) will both reach an 85% total recovery. Convenience Claims (Class 7) are set for a 120% distribution, as detailed in the FTX claims portal. This structured payout is part of the ongoing legal process managed through the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

Bitcoin Has 25% Chance of Hitting $125,000 This September

by admin September 18, 2025

  • What about Bitcoin bears?
  • All eyes on Q4

According to Polymarket bettors, Bitcoin, the flagship cryptocurrency, currently has a 25% chance of surpassing the $125,000 level as early as this September.

Earlier today, the top cryptocurrency by market cap reached an intraday high of $117,934 on the Bitstamp exchange.

It is down roughly 5.5% from its all-time peak of $124,517, which was reached on Aug. 14.

Uber-bullish bets

There are also some uber-bullish traders who believe that the price of the leading cryptocurrency could potentially reach $130,000 within less than two weeks.

The odds of Bitcoin soaring all the way to $150,000 in September currently stand at 1%.

What about Bitcoin bears?

The odds are not looking too rosy for Bitcoin bears, which shows that market sentiment has become overwhelmingly bullish.

Bitcoin has just an 11% chance of slipping to $107,000 this month, which is a considerable drop compared to a local peak of 11%.

You Might Also Like

There is also only a 3% chance of Bitcoin plunging below $100,000 by the end of the month (compared to 41% in early September).

All eyes on Q4

Polymarket bettors currently see a 42% chance of Bitcoin hitting by the end of the year.

As reported by U.Today, Fundstrat’s Tom Lee previously predicted that BTC could hit $200,000 as soon as this year, but the market currently sees only a 7% chance of such a scenario.

Bitwise’s Matt Hogan previously compared the current market sentiment to the Super Bowl pre-game show due to the combination of the ETF bonanza and the Fed’s rate cuts.
