Fallout 4K Blu-Ray Deal – Catch Up Before Season 2’s December Premiere

by admin August 20, 2025

Season 1 of Amazon’s Fallout adaptation is up for grabs for $30 on 4K Blu-ray at Amazon. Fallout Season 1 released on 4K and 1080p Blu-ray as well as DVD on July 8. With Amazon’s current deal, the 4K Blu-ray edition is the same price as the 1080p edition.

Now’s not a bad time to catch up or rewatch Season 1, as Amazon has revealed Fallout Season 2 will premiere December 17. Unlike Season 1, which released all of its episodes on the same day, Season 2 will follow a traditional weekly schedule. Episodes will stream on Wednesdays, with the Season 2 finale slated for February 4.

Watch Fallout Season 1

To be clear, the Fallout 4K Blu-ray deal is for the standard edition with a plastic case, not Amazon’s exclusive Steelbook Edition. The collectible 4K Blu-ray edition sold out shortly after preorders opened in April. We saw brief restocks during launch week and in mid-July, but it’s been sold out for about a month now. Amazon has indicated this truly is a limited-edition release, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the Steelbook Edition is gone for good.

$30 (was $40)

Fallout: Season 1 is a three-disc set featuring all eight episodes in 4K resolution (2160p) with HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10). It also supports enhanced audio with Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1 surround sound.

Season 1’s eight episodes clock in at 450 minutes (7.5 hours). After you’re done, you can pop in the special features disc and watch an assortment of behind-the-scenes featurettes. Like many other 4K releases of shows and movies, the bonus content is on a regular Blu-ray disc instead of 4K.

You can check out the full list of special features below:

Fallout: Season 1 Special Features:

  • Animated Content
  • Console to Camera
  • Inside Season 1
  • Prosthetics & Makeup Gone Nuclear
  • Set Your Sets on 2296
  • Welcome to the World of Fallout
  • Becoming The Ghoul
  • Creating the Wasteland
  • Safe and Sound
  • Meet the Filmmaker Jonathan Nolan
  • The Costumes of Fallout
  • Writing for the Wasteland

Season 1 released on Prime Video last April and earned positive reviews from critics and fans, making it one of the few live-action video game adaptations for TV that lived up to its namesake. It’s fairly uncommon for Amazon to release its original shows on Blu-ray, so it’s cool that Fallout is now available to watch without a subscription. The physical editions were manufactured and distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

The show follows three characters as they trek across the Wasteland–a Vault dweller heading above ground for the first time, a squire of the Brotherhood of Steel, and a deadly bounty hunter known as The Ghoul.

We’ve rounded up some cool Fallout merch below, in case you want to add some collectibles to your display shelves.

Tubbz Vault Boy Plush Duck

The official Fallout Store on Amazon is loaded with products themed around the Prime Video show and Bethesda’s game series. From backpacks and hoodies to records and figurines, there’s a little bit of everything, including a Vault Boy plush fashioned as a rubber duck, as shown above. You can also get Vault Boy, Vault Girl, Nuka-Cola, and more characters fashioned as vinyl rubber duck figures. Nuka-Girl is on sale for $8.79 (was $20), while the T-51 duck is only five bucks.

Fallout: Tubbz Rubber Duck Vinyl Figures

Fallout Action Figures

If you like action figures and statues, check out this four-pack of six-inch Fallout figures. You could also grab the premium Fallout Maximus Figure by Dark Horse for $55 (was $70). Standing 10 inches tall, the hand-painted Brotherhood of Steel collectible is a great addition to any home theater or game room.

Fallout Mega Bloks Building Sets

Fallout T-60 Power Armor Mega Bloks Set

Fallout fans who like construction sets should check out the pair of Mega Bloks sets based on the Fallout 4 video game. Both sets released last year and were sold out for months before Amazon restocked them earlier this year. The Amazon-exclusive Mega Fallout T-60 Power Armor Set comes with five micro action figures and buildable rigs (327 pieces) for $32.39. The Mega Fallout: Red Rocket Truck Stop Set is a larger 824-piece playset with multiple figures and game-accurate details. You can pick up this set for $70 (was $86).

Speaking of post-apocalyptic TV series based on video games that have received good reviews, The Last of Us Season 2 releases on 4K Blu-ray on September 23. The Limited Edition Steelbook is still available to preorder, and Amazon has dropped the price from $47 to $35.

Fallout Season 2 Images Tease New Vegas Before The Bombs Fell

by admin August 19, 2025

The second season of Amazon Prime’s live-action Fallout show arrives later this year, but before then, we have some new images of the post-apocalyptic series, and one in particular featuring a shot of Las Vegas before the bombs dropped and turned it into New Vegas is very, very intriguing.

On August 18, Amazon shared seven new images of the upcoming season of its hit Fallout TV show. The new screenshots show a variety of characters and locations, but the one that immediately caught my eye was a single shot of Howard Cooper (Walton Goggins) in a car driving down the Las Vegas Strip. (After the bombs fall, it becomes New Vegas.) In the window is a reflection of the Lucky 38’s large and iconic sign, first seen in 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas. In the show, Cooper survives the bombs falling and becomes the decaying bounty hunter known only as the Ghoul. But before that, he had a life pre-war that intersected with Vault-Tec and the company’s nefarious plans. And now it seems like he might have met Mr. House, a villain from New Vegas who was teased back in season one. Okay, Fallout season two, you have my attention.

©Amazon / Bethesda

The other teaser images released by Amazon include looks at Ella Purnell’s loveable Lucy and Aaron Morten’s Maximus. We also see Lucy’s dad, played by Kyle MacLachlan, who was revealed to be a pretty bad guy at the end of the show’s first season. He ran off in a power suit to New Vegas, and it seems we’ll be catching up with him later this year. Of course, this isn’t actually the first time we’ve seen some of this stuff, as set leaks earlier this year hinted at some pre-war flashbacks set in Las Vegas.

Last year, after premiering in April, the Fallout series received rave reviews, big ratings, and lots of award nominations, leading to a spike in people playing old Fallout games. Amazon quickly announced a second season, which wrapped up filming in May. The highly anticipated new season of Fallout arrives on Amazon Prime this December, and the show has already been picked up for a third season. Here’s a teaser for the show’s second season:

How To Watch Silksong, Fallout Season 2, And More

by admin August 19, 2025

Everyone is waiting for Hollow Knight: Silksong to come out. It’s the most wishlisted game on Steam. You can’t watch a new gaming showcase these days without the chat being flooded with stuff like “Show Silksong? Where is Silksong? Silksong when?” Due out before the end of 2025, time is running out for a release date announcement or even a same-day shadow-drop. With Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live just around the corner, could this finally be the moment of truth? Host Geoff Keighley is certainly acting like it.

Gaming’s veteran hype man has been sharing images of Gamescom ONL prep, including one of him in front of a mirror wearing a clown nose. It’s a clear wink to the Silksong fanart clown makeup meme about perpetual disappointment. The trend started years ago when developer Team Cherry was MIA, but hit a new fever pitch after Xbox claimed Silksong would arrive in 2022, only for it to never come out. Many gaming showcases have come and gone since, with the Metroidvanaia Soulslike only ever appearing briefly as part of a sizzle reel here and there.

First time? 🤡

See you tomorrow for @gamescom ONL. pic.twitter.com/59ef5sFysJ

— Geoff Keighley (@geoffkeighley) August 18, 2025

Keighley is either tipping his hand that big Silksong news is just around the corner or paving the way for the biggest collective letdown ever. Since the game will be playable at multiple booths on the Gamescom show floor, my money’s on the former. It’s coming to Switch but has also been promised to be available day-one on the Xbox Ally PC gaming handheld, rumored to release in October. Plus, the soundtrack was just added to the backend of GOG.

Keighley’s showcase will take place on August 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. ET. It will run approximately two hours with a pre-show that starts at 1:30 p.m. ET. You can stream it live on both YouTube and Twitch. The event tends to have new game announcements sprinkled in with trailers and updates on already revealed games coming out in the next few months, plus occasionally brief intros from the developers themselves. This year’s Gamescom ONL will also include a live orchestra performance of music from surprise hit Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and the first footage of Fallout season 2.

What games will be shown at Gamescom ONL?

Beyond the tease for Silksong, Keighley has already confirmed the following nine games will also make an appearance:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
  • Resident Evil Requiem
  • Ghost of Yotei
  • Ninja Gaiden 4
  • The Outer Worlds 2
  • Silent Hill f
  • World of Warcraft: Midnight
  • Black Myth: Wukong
  • Lords of the Fallen 2

Black Ops 7 is expected to reveal the first footage from its updated multiplayer, while Black Myth: Wukong is headed to Xbox this week and could potentially be showing off its long-rumored DLC expansion. With no BlizzCon this year, Microsoft will also be using ONL to debut the next World of Warcraft expansion, though a much bigger deal would be if it ever gets a much-requested console port. And what about Diablo 4‘s recently leaked Paladin subclass, rumored to be part of its next expansion? The Outer Worlds 2 is Microsoft’s other big fall release, but with few updates on its biggest in-development games at its Xbox showcase in June, there are plenty of other big releases that could make surprise appearances at ONL.

We haven’t heard much from Ubisoft this year either. Amid big delays and internal restructurings, the French publisher declined to hold its usual Summer Game Fest-adjacent June showcase. With the next Far Cry, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell remakes all in development, any one of them could get a tease at Gamescom. The developers behind The Division 2 have already teased news on the ongoing loot shooter’s big winter update. Who knows, maybe Gamescom 2025 is when Beyond Good and Evil 2 will finally resurface!

How the Aces saved their season, got back in WNBA playoff hunt

by admin August 18, 2025

The Las Vegas Aces walked onto their home court with something to prove.

Just 24 hours earlier, they suffered a historic 53-point loss to the Minnesota Lynx at home. The Aces were mad and embarrassed. And now, the closest team to a dynasty the WNBA has seen in the past 10 years was fighting for its pride against the expansion Golden State Valkyries.

“We funneled every inch of our energy into that,” Aces point guard Chelsea Gray told ESPN.

The Aces tied a franchise record with 18 3-pointers and beat the Valkyries by 24 points, the largest turnaround in back-to-back games in WNBA history, according to ESPN Research.

“When things aren’t going well, it can make you question some things that maybe you thought you were super strong in,” Las Vegas coach Becky Hammon told ESPN. “When things aren’t going well, it has to go back to the foundations. What is the base problem here?”

For the first two months of the season, the Aces were in and out of the playoff picture, suffered a three-game losing streak and were .500 at the All-Star break. The only team to win consecutive titles in the past 20 years, the Aces performed far below preseason expectations.

But Las Vegas turned it around after its Aug. 2 loss to Minnesota. The Aces have won seven consecutive games and pulled even with the Phoenix Mercury for fourth place in the WNBA standings. A’ja Wilson added to her dominance. The league’s reigning MVP is averaging 26.1 points and 13.3 rebounds during the win streak and has scored at least 30 points in three of the past four games.

The Aces look like they can contend. They might host a first-round playoff series. But the challenge is sustaining the momentum.

“You get excited because you see the potential. You see what they are capable of,” Hammon said. “Now, it’s that consistency. In basketball, anyone can be good for a night. But the great ones, they are good every night.”

AS THE ACES tried to recover from their embarrassing loss to the Lynx — Minnesota set a WNBA record for largest road win — Hammon had a new assignment for the team: The players had to create their own scouting reports.

Before the start of each practice session, the Aces, led by Wilson, shared their preferred matchups, schemes and flow of the game. Hammon poked holes in the presentations and encouraged the Aces to challenge her prep, too.

Hammon hoped the collaboration would ignite a new level of engagement and attention to detail. It led to immediate success.

“This has helped us jell together to where we can all hold each other accountable,” Wilson said.

In the loss to the Lynx, Hammon called the Las Vegas defense “atrocious.” Since that defeat, the Aces have had a top-five defense and been the league’s second-best rebounding team. And it helped unlock the Las Vegas offense, which has led the league in offensive rating for the past two weeks.

Hammon’s new assignment has also helped create familiarity and chemistry, something the Aces needed to evolve after Kelsey Plum left for Los Angeles in free agency and Natalie Nakase and Tyler Marsh — the Aces’ top two assistant coaches — took head coaching jobs at Golden State and Chicago, respectively. That trio had helped Las Vegas win WNBA titles in 2022 and 2023.

“It’s absolutely a block party. [A’ja Wilson] isn’t new to this, she’s true to this.”

With six-time All-Star Jewell Loyd and four other new players added to the roster, this year’s team looked and operated differently. But the Aces didn’t anticipate how long it would take to come together.

“Our offense and defense are so fluid that we had to take time to learn and understand new habits,” Gray said. “It’s only when you learn those habits, you can start to form as a team.”

Loyd set a single-season mark for scoring two seasons ago with Seattle, but struggled to find a rhythm with the Aces. She was limited to single digits in six of 11 games in July while shooting 33.6%. Hammon tinkered with different combinations in the starting lineup, but nothing helped. Loyd suggested she come off the bench, but Hammon was reluctant to make the switch.

After Loyd went scoreless in a loss July 25, the guard was adamant that she be removed from the starting unit.

“I didn’t want her to feel like I was giving up on her or losing confidence in her because that was not the case,” Hammon said. “I made that very clear with her. …. As a coach, when a player says they need change, you’ve got to find a change.”

Although Loyd is playing five fewer minutes, she’s scoring five more points per game coming off the bench, averaging 14.6 points in 25 minutes during her 10 games as a reserve.

“We know how to weather storms right now. In the beginning, we couldn’t get that. We didn’t understand that we have a whole new group, top to bottom,” Wilson said. “That takes time and it takes giving each other a lot of grace and a lot of communication.”

A’ja Wilson continues her tear with 34 points in Aces’ win

A’ja Wilson leads the Aces to their seventh straight win with 34 points.

WILSON SENT A group text to her teammates after the Aug. 2 loss to Minnesota. The message was simple: flush this game and move on, but don’t forget the way it made everyone feel.

It wasn’t her first pep talk of the season. The Aces’ early-season struggles led to Wilson becoming a more vocal leader, which has been one of the most important developments of Las Vegas’ season.

“It’s easy to lead when you are winning. Winning disguises a lot of different things” Wilson told ESPN. “But when you are in the trenches and things aren’t going well — when it feels like everyone has something to say about this Aces team — how do you lead that? How do you get all of these minds in one accord to stay poised through the noise?”

For most of her career, she built her leadership style on her playing abilities. The three-time WNBA MVP can take over games. Last week, she became the first player in WNBA history to record a 30-point, 20-rebound game. She’s averaging 22.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.6 steals this season, and has scored at least 27 points in five of the past six games. But Wilson is making a point not to force the action.

“I told myself out of All-Star break to just let the game come to me,” Wilson said after a win over Phoenix on Friday. “It’s going to be what it’s going to be. If I try to harp on it or force it because I want this win so bad for my team, it’s like forcing a fart. All you get is s—.”

According to Hammon, Wilson’s growth in her game and leadership has kept the Aces’ locker room intact.

“A lot of times it can fall apart when there is hard time after hard time or you are so close and you lost another one. It’s easy to lose the locker room, not only with myself but them with each other,” Hammon said. “They haven’t done that. They have dug in. My leaders have led when it’s hard and difficult.”

Maintaining trust allowed the Aces to stay confident as they worked out their issues. With nine games left in the regular season, they’re riding the longest active winning streak in the league and vying to secure home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs, which begin Sept. 14.

“This is what it takes to win championships. You have to do it right nine out of 10 times, 10 out of 10 times,” Hammon said. “Just keep demanding that greatness.”

Disney’s Got a Cool ‘Andor’ Zine for Emmy Season

by admin August 18, 2025

With less than a month to go before the Emmys, Disney’s pulling out all the stops to make sure Andor takes home some gold. Not only did it recently release the script for “Welcome to the Rebellion,” one of its best season two episodes, it’s also getting the word out through the power of the press.

As Disney describes it, the REBELIÓN zine celebrates “our 14 Emmy® nominations, the filmmakers, talent, and incredible craftspeople who were responsible for bringing this show to life,” and has already been sent out to press and voters. Per a now-deleted tweet, Los Angeles residents can pick up a copy at locations like Atwater Village’s Secret Headquarters, Echo Park’s Stories and Heavy Manners Zine Library, while everyone else can peep the digital version here.

Within its pages are the pitch of Andor’s second season, propaganda posters featuring Cassian, Mon Mothma, and the Ghor, shots of key Empire characters, and concept art for the season. Showrunner Tony Gilroy also recently appeared at a pop-up event at West Hollywood’s Kiosk-O-Thèque, which you can see below.

— Andor | A Star Wars Original Series (@andorofficial) August 16, 2025

REBELIÓN is some of the last Andor media we’re likely to get; season two’s likely getting a physical release, but the only other known work coming is the series’ art book in May 2026. Anyone looking to understand the show on a writing level is out of luck, since Gilroy previously said there’s no plans to publish the series’ full scripts as a means of safeguarding the show against generative AI. Too bad this is physical version isn’t for everyone.

The Emmys will air on Sunday, September 14, where we’ll see if Andor takes home any gold for its last season.

Attack On Titan's New Complete Final Season Steelbook Is A Bargain

Attack On Titan’s New Complete Final Season Steelbook Is A Bargain

by admin August 18, 2025

Attack on Titan’s Final Season is getting a Complete Edition Blu-ray with a collectible steelbook case. Slated to release November 11, roughly one year after Part 3 initially launched on Blu-ray, Attack on Titan: Final Season Complete Steelbook is up for preorder for $70 at Amazon.

At first glance, $70 for one season of anime may sound pricey, but Parts 1-3 initially launched individually for $65-$70 each without steelbook cases. Even today, buying the standard editions of all three parts would set you back roughly $130. Plus, because Attack on Titan’s fourth and final season was split into three parts that aired over nearly three years, the Complete Steelbook Edition is by far the longest single Blu-ray release for the franchise. You’re effectively getting multiple seasons of content in one seven-disc package.

Check out the Final Season Complete Steelbook and a breakdown of Attack on Titan’s previous Blu-ray releases for Seasons 1-4, including Steelbook Editions for Seasons 1-3. We’ve also outlined the best ways to complete your Attack on Titan manga collection. Here’s a quick rundown of everything covered in this Attack on Titan roundup, including the recently released Attack on Titan Fly: Collector’s Box, which is on sale for a steep discount.

Attack on Titan Anime & Manga

$70 | Releases November 11

The Complete Steelbook Edition includes all 35 episodes from Attack on Titan’s three-part Final Season:

  • Part 1: 16 episodes
  • Part 2: 12 episodes
  • Part 3: 2 TV Specials
    • Special 1: 3 episodes
    • Special 2: 4 episodes

Part 3 initially aired as two lengthy TV specials in 2023. On the same day the second TV special debuted, the first one was split into three regular episodes. Then, two weeks after the finale, the second, even longer special aired as four episodes. As such, the Final Season essentially has 35 total episodes totaling 986 minutes (roughly 16.5 hours). For comparison, the next longest season was the first with 25 episodes.

The seven-disc Blu-ray set also comes with numerous special features:

Attack on Titan: Final Season Steelbook Bonus Content

  • Behind-the-scenes footage: 3DCG Animation and Staff Discussions
  • Voice Actor Panels for Parts 1-2
  • Attack on Titan Chibi Theater (2 parts)
  • Eyecatch Gallery
  • Promo Video and Commercial
  • Textless Opening and Ending Songs

Attack on Titan: Final Season Complete Steelbook Edition (Blu-ray)

The Crunchyroll Store is also taking preorders for $56, but it doesn’t come with a preorder price guarantee, and you’ll need to pay shipping costs unless your order total eclipses $75.

With Amazon’s preorder price guarantee, you’ll be eligible for any discount offered between the time you order and when the Blu-ray ships this November.

Attack on Titan: Final Season – Blu-ray Editions

Attack on Titan: Final Season: Part 3 Limited Edition (Blu-ray)

For comparison, check out the standard and Limited Editions of Parts 1-3 on Blu-ray below. The Final Season Part 3’s Limited Edition is the only LE release still in stock directly from Amazon for $84. The Limited Edition includes a 148-page art book, 32-page digibook, seven art cards, and two enamel pins. Standard editions for Parts 1-3 are currently priced at $41 to $45 each.

Complete your Attack on Titan Anime Collection

Attack on Titan Seasons 1-3 Steelbook Editions

Attack on Titan’s first three seasons received fresh Steelbook Edition Blu-rays last December for $70 each. Unfortunately, the artwork on these does not match the upcoming Final Season Steelbook. The other unfortunate thing here–if you don’t already have them–is that these aren’t always easy to find. If you want to buy directly from a major retailer, Season 1 is $70 at Amazon. It’s temporarily out of stock but still available to order. Season 2 is available directly from Walmart for 50% off. Season 3’s Steelbook, meanwhile, is currently only available from third-party resellers at both retailers.

Attack on Titan Seasons 1-3 – Limited Edition Steelbooks (Blu-ray)

Attack on Titan Standard Editions

If you don’t care about having Steelbook Editions for all four seasons, standard editions are available for each of the first three seasons. The Limited Edition for Season 2 is also available for about 10 bucks more than the standard. This version includes a 60-page art book and 24-page digibook. Season 2’s standard edition is the only one that’s actually more expensive than its Steelbook Edition.

Attack on Titan Seasons 1-4: Complete Editions (Blu-ray)

Each Blu-ray in the list below contains a complete season of Attack on Titan.

Just like with the Final Season, Seasons 1 and 3 were also originally released in multiple parts. Season 1 is still available in two parts on Blu-ray, but it’s almost always cheaper to buy the complete version instead.

Attack on Titan Fly: Collector’s Box Set

Attack on Titan 35: Fly Collector’s Box

Big Attack on Titan fans may be interested in checking out the recently released Attack on Titan Fly Collector’s Box Set. Published in June by Kodansha Comics, this unique, limited-edition collectible set is on sale for $189.33 (was $250) at Amazon. Notably, this box set contains the only English translation of Volume 35 of Attack on Titan, the true final volume in the original manga series. The box set also includes a 216-page hardcover art book and a number of additional collectibles:

  • Attack on Titan: Fly Art Book (216-page hardcover)
  • Attack on Titan: Volume 35 manga
  • Replica manuscript pages of Attack on Titan’s last chapter
  • Replica padlock and key from Eren’s family home
  • Scarf with “Eren to Mikasa” in script letters
  • Slipcase for Attack on Titan: Fly
  • Collector’s box

Attack on Titan Manga

Attack on Titan Manga Box Sets

Attack on Titan’s original 34-volume manga series has been collected in multiple budget-friendly editions over the years. For newcomers who want to read the manga and then watch the anime, one cool way to engage with the franchise is to check out the Attack on Titan box set editions of the manga and then watch the corresponding seasons. The manga box sets are named based on the events covered in the anime.

Each box set comes packaged in a slipcase and includes exclusive bonuses, which we’ve noted below. Notably, the box sets for Seasons 3-4 each include an extra book with exclusive Attack on Titan short stories. At the moment, you’d spend roughly $225 for the complete set of seven Attack on Titan box sets.

Attack on Titan Manga: Paperback Box Sets (Vol. 1-34)

Attack on Titan Manga: Omnibus Editions

Attack on Titan Manga Omnibus Editions

The second budget-friendly way to read Attack on Titan in physical format is to pick up the 12 Omnibus Editions for $20 (or less) each. The Omnibus Editions don’t include the extras, but these thick paperbacks are arguably better because they have larger pages and embossed cover art. The first 10 Omnibus Editions are 576 pages each and collect three volumes. Omnibus 11 (384 pages) and 12 (448 pages) contain two volumes each.

The combined MSRP for all 12 ($240) is substantially less than the combined MSRP of the box sets ($374). With current deals at Amazon, all 12 Omnibus Editions would cost you $196, so you’re saving about $30 compared to the box sets.

Everything To Know About Chapter 6, Season 4

by admin August 18, 2025

There are few games as well-known in the general population as Fortnite. Even your grandmother knows what it is because she’s bought your cousin $700 in V-Bucks over the past month so he can play as a hot dog or whatever. This beloved battle royale is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, either. But maybe it’s been a little while since you’ve played or you’ve yet to jump out of your first party bus. Let’s get into what you need to know to get into Fortnite in 2025.

What’s the deal with the current season?

At the time of this writing, Fortnite is up to Chapter 6, Season 4, which went live on August 7, 2025 and it features new characters from Halo and Power Rangers. We can expect this season to take us into the Fall of this year before the new one arrives.

The current season sees a bit of a pest-control problem on the island. Throughout the map you’ll find various gross nests, eggs, and the like. There are also three queen insects you’ll need to take down to earn yourself a mythic weapon. For full details on these pests and where on the map you can expect to find them, check out the official blog post.

What are the best guns in the game right now?

Right now, it’s looking like it’s SMG season, folks. The Veiled Precision SMG is arguably at the top of the pack when it comes to mowing down your opponents. That said, the Deadeye DMR is also a great pick for those who like to place their shots with more precision. And if you’re into looking weird while taking out multiple foes at once, give the Bug Blaster a shot.

What got vaulted/unvaulted?

This season sees the following changes to the game’s arsenal, as per Osirion on X.

BR LOOT POOL UPDATES

unvaulted/added:
– Hammer Assault Rifle
– O.X.R. Rifle
– Sweeper Shotgun
– Wrecker Revolver
– Stinger SMG
– Agile Aiming Boon
– Extended Magazine Boon
– Launch Pad
– Chug Splash
– FlowBerry Fizz
– Crash Pad Jr.
– Med-Mist

Does Fortnite have crossplay?

Hey, here’s some good news in a world full of bad news: Fortnite features full crossplay! With this feature, you can team up with friends on other platforms with ease, ensuring that no one’s ever left out of the fun. Whether you’re on console, PC, or mobile devices, you can simply add your friends via Epic Games to get things going. Easy peasy!

Does Fortnite have cross-progression?

I’ve got some more good news for you: Fortnite features full cross-progression functionality, too. This means that you can play on your account across any supported device that you own. Get a few dubs on PS5, Xbox, or PC, then take the game on the go using your Nintendo Switch 2. And if you don’t want to drag a dedicated portable gaming device with you, just break out your phone for a few mobile matches. Yes, it really is that seamless.

In other words, anywhere you go, Fortnite is there. Watching. Waiting. Expecting you. Needing you. Feed it money. It’s hungry. You want that new skin. Buy it. Wear it. Your skin is bad. Its skin is good.

Anyway.

Fortnite is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PCs, and mobile devices.

Louisiana sues Roblox for allegedly choosing “profits over child safety”, claiming “it’s basically open season for sex predators on this app”

by admin August 17, 2025

The U.S. state of Louisiana is suing Roblox, alleging it facilitates “the sexual exploitation of Louisiana’s children”.

In a statement, Louisiana Attorney General, Liz Murrill, claimed Roblox “endangers the safety of the children” of the state, writing: “Roblox is overrun with harmful content and child predators because it prioritises user growth, revenue, and profits over child safety.

“Every parent should be aware of the clear and present danger posed to their children by Roblox so they can prevent the unthinkable from ever happening in their own home.”

The legal papers then names several “highly inappropriate” Roblox mini games such as Escape to Epstein Island, Public Bathroom Simulator, and Diddy Party.

“These games and others are often filled with sexually explicit material and simulated sexual activity such as child gang rape. A recent report even revealed a group of 3,334 members openly traded child pornography and solicited sexual acts from minors,” the Louisiana announcement says, citing a 2024 report.

The lawsuit claims that while Roblox requires children to have permission from their parents or guardians to open an account, the company “does nothing to confirm or document that parental permission has been given, no matter how young a child is. Nor does Defendant require a parent to confirm the age given when a child signs up to use Roblox”.

“[Roblox] has access to biometric age verification software that requires the user to take a photo of a government-issued ID along with a real-time selfie photo that is then verified through artificial intelligence,” the AG adds. “However, while Defendant utilises this software for other purposes, Defendant intentionally does not utilise this feature when new accounts are created.”

In a press conference announcing the lawsuit, Murrill said: “So [Roblox] have chosen profits over child safety. It’s basically open season for sex predators on this app. For this reason, and all of the others that we’ve talked about today, Roblox is violating Louisiana law, and that’s why we filed this lawsuit.”

Roblox said it does not comment on pending litigation, but stressed “it would like to address erroneous claims and misconceptions about our platform, our commitment to safety, and our overall safety track record”.

“Every day, tens of millions of people around the world use Roblox to learn STEM skills, play, and imagine, and have a safe experience on our platform. Any assertion that Roblox would intentionally put our users at risk of exploitation is simply untrue. No system is perfect, and bad actors adapt to evade detection, including efforts to take users to other platforms, where safety standards and moderation practices may differ. We continuously work to block those efforts and to enhance our moderation approaches to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.”

It added that it is constantly innovating safety tools and launching new safeguards, has taken an industry-leading stance on age-based communication, and serves players of which 64 percent are aged 13 or over. It also dedicates substantial resources to help detect and prevent inappropriate content and behaviour, and collaborates with law enforcement and government agencies, as well as mental health organisations, child safety organisations, and parental advocacy groups “to keep users safe on the platform”.

“We know safety is critically important to families, and we strive to empower our community of parents and caregivers to help ensure a safe online experience for their children. This includes a suite of easy-to-use parental controls to provide parents with more control and clarity on what their kids and teens are doing on Roblox,” the statement concludes.

“We aim to create one of the safest online environments for users, a goal not only core to our founding values but contrary to certain assertions, one we believe is critical to our long-term vision and success. We understand there is always more work to be done, and we are committed to making Roblox a safe and positive environment for all users.”
