Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 26: Schedule, brackets, and more

by admin May 27, 2025

DreamLeague Season 26 will be the last chance for teams to qualify for this year’s Dota 2 championship in the Esports World Cup 2025. With 29,200 EPT Points available for teams to secure qualification to EWC, the qualified teams have everything to play for. Every team’s performance in this tournament will also play a big part in receiving an invite to The International 2025.

Featuring a prize pool of $1,000,000, DreamLeague 26 will set up the road to The International with only a few tournaments remaining for teams to showcase their prowess for an invitation to TI14. Given that Patch 7.38 was released almost three months ago, we might get to see a new patch around the time of the tournament.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 2 tournament.

Sixteen teams will compete for the Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 26 trophy. While four teams have qualified directly based on their EPT points, the remaining 12 teams had to go through regional qualifiers to secure a place at the tournament. Here’s the full list of teams and their roster, along with how they qualified for DreamLeague Season 26:

Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 26 schedule and format

Similar to previous iterations of DreamLeague, Season 26 will feature two separate group stages before heading to the playoffs. The first group stage will kick off on May 19, 2025, from where the top eight teams will make their way into the second group stage, while the bottom eight teams will be eliminated from the tournament.

A total of four teams will make their way into the playoffs after the second group stage, as the top two placed teams will fight it out in the upper-bracket final for a spot in the Grand Final. However, the third and fourth-placed teams from the second group stage will start their playoff journey from the lower-bracket semi-final, while all the teams placed between fifth and eighth in the second group stage will be eliminated after this point.

Here’s the full schedule for all the matches from the first group stage of the tournament:

All Dead Drop locations in Schedule 1

by admin May 26, 2025

Throughout your Schedule 1 playthrough, you’ll visit a lot of Dead Drop supply boxes. Whether buying weed seeds or ingredients for making late-game substances, you’ll frequently purchase supplies and pick them up from these spots.

Although you may have noticed a few while running around, you likely won’t encounter every Dead Drop box until you approach the end of your playthrough. Nonetheless, knowing where each one is located can help you plan future routes.

Schedule 1 Dead Drop map locations

Here’s a complete list of every Dead Drop location around Schedule 1’s map:

Screenshot by Destructoid

  1. Near Westville Apartment’s second room
  2. Behind Top Tattoo
  3. Behind Westville’s Gas-Mart
  4. Under the west bridge
  5. Behind the Motel office
  6. North of the Skatepark
  7. Along Taco Ticklers’ northern wall
  8. Behind Thompson Construction & Demo
  9. Behind Northtown’s Arcade
  10. Along the Pawn Shop’s west wall
  11. Between the Laundromat and Warehouse
  12. South of Slop Shop
  13. Behind the Body Shop
  14. On the east side of the Central Canal
  15. Along the Casino’s west wall
  16. Attached to the apartment building south of the Parking Garage
  17. On the corner of the Supermarket
  18. Along Crimson Canary and Butter Box’s east walls
  19. Behind Hyland Medical
  20. On Town Hall fountain
  21. Between the Courthouse and Hyland Bank
  22. Along the Fire Station’s east wall near Handy Hank’s Hardware
  23. Along the inner walls of a grey Docks building
  24. Behind Randy’s Bait and Tackle shop
  25. On the southern gazebo’s floor

Westville Apartment

Screenshot by Destructoid

Starting from Westville on the westernmost side of Hyland Point, you’ll find a Dead Drop box next to the brown apartment building’s second room. You’ll spot it on the wall as a box with an “X” above it.

Top Tattoo

Screenshot by Destructoid

Westville has another Dead Drop box behind Top Tattoo. Between Top Tattoo and an apartment building is a tight alleyway with skull graffiti, debris, and the Dead Drop box for you to open. Thankfully, this one is far from passersby and police, but it’s also especially dark if you travel at night.

Westville Gas-Mart

Screenshot by Destructoid

The last of Westville’s Dead Drop boxes is behind Gas-Mart. As you approach the Gas-Mart, run behind its metal fence to access the box and any of its contents.

West Bridge

Screenshot by Destructoid

Just before running into Northtown, head under the west bridge connecting it to Westville to find another Drop Box. Just be careful if you’re performing deals under here, as the cops are surprisingly good at noticing your presence even if they’re on top of the bridge.

Motel Office

Screenshot by Destructoid

It’s time to return to one of our beginning spots, the Motel. More specifically, you’ll head behind the Motel office building to spot another Dead Drop box.

Skatepark

Screenshot by Destructoid

The early-game Dead Drop locations don’t stop there. Right in front of the motel is a skatepark, with another box along its outer wall. Don’t worry—you won’t find any others inside the park itself.

Taco Ticklers

Screenshot by Destructoid

Before running in to grab a taco, it’s time to claim our supplies from Taco Ticklers’ Dead Drop box. You’ll find this stash by running behind the restaurant until you find the Dead Drop container on the wall near a green dumpster.

Thompson Construction & Demo

Screenshot by Destructoid

The next one is a little tricky to spot when you first start playing Schedule 1. The Thompson Construction & Demo Dead Drop box is along a brick wall directly north of its map location, which you can access using a walkway connected to the Motel area.

Arcade

Screenshot by Destructoid

Did you know that there’s an arcade next to the Fat Dragon Chinese restaurant in Schedule 1? I didn’t either until a few hours after I unlocked the restaurant’s living space. If you circle behind the arcade to where the white pickup truck is, you’ll spot the Dead Drop box against the building’s back wall.

Pawn Shop

Screenshot by Destructoid

Did you know you can sell old gear at the Pawn Shop? Inside the Pawn Shop is Mick, who’ll buy old equipment from you. More importantly, the Dead Drop is to the right of the store’s entrance, just around the corner.

Laundromat

Screenshot by Destructoid

There’s an interesting spot between the Warehouse and businesses like the Laundromat and Thrifty Threads. The path here is a great escape route at night, but it also helps connect you to the Docks if you don’t feel like traveling along the main road. Your next Dead Drop box is behind the Laundromat along the lower-level wall.

Slop Shop

Screenshot by Destructoid

As you travel down one of the main roads past POIs like Taco Ticklers, the parking garage, and the Laundromat, you’ll spot a diner known as Slop Shop. Behind it is an apartment building in which several NPCs live, with a Dead Drop box on the corner closest to the Hyland Police Station.

Body Shop

Screenshot by Destructoid

Next up is the Body Shop’s Dead Drop box. You’ll find the Body Shop directly south of Slop Shop. While a metal fence will seemingly block access to it, you can easily open it through its holes without much issue.

Central Canal

Screenshot by Destructoid

Remember at the beginning of Schedule 1’s story when you had to pick up money from Uncle Nelson? You had three Dead Drops to visit, with the central canal stash being one of the most difficult to spot. You’ll find this one in the town center near the eastern Gas-Mart, Hyland Auto, and Hyland Police Station.

Casino

Screenshot by Destructoid

Next up is the Casino. Rather than circling to the front, approach it as if you’re coming from the Motel until you pass the parking garage and red storage container. You’ll find the Dead Drop box close to its corner.

Apartment south of the Parking Garage

Screenshot by Destructoid

Your next destination is the apartment directly south of the parking garage. Both of these locations are near the casino and supermarket. The apartment appears as a large brown building with a Dead Drop box on its northeastern corner.

Supermarket

Screenshot by Destructoid

The Supermarket Dead Drop box is the second of the three you’ll find during Uncle Nelson’s introductory quest. It’s very close to the Central Canal box, requiring you to travel north from it and turn left after passing the Supermarket. Turning left again will lead you to its back wall, where you’ll encounter the next Dead Drop stash.

Crimson Canary

Screenshot by Destructoid

Next on the list is the Dead Drop box alongside the eastern walls of The Crimson Canary and The Butter Box. Both spots are directly north of the Town Hall, with its Dead Drop stash on the wall near two dumpsters and some purple graffiti.

Hyland Medical

Screenshot by Destructoid

There are two types of players: those who are at Hyland Medical once a day, and those who are never here because they refuse to get into fights. Either way, traveling far east into Hyland past the Town Hall and the bank will bring you to the medical center. The Dead Drop is behind the building.

Town Hall fountain

Screenshot by Destructoid

The Town Hall fountain is the last of Uncle Nelson’s introductory stashes. After finding the Central Canal and Supermarket Dead Drops, head toward the center of town until you find a brown-orange brick building with a fountain in front of it. The Dead Drop box is along the bottom of the fountain.

Courthouse and Hyland Bank

Screenshot by Destructoid

There’s a strong possibility you’ve never visited Hyland Bank or the Courthouse before. Don’t worry; I haven’t either. The only time you’ll need to check this spot out is to interact with the Dead Drop box attached to the bank’s southern wall.

Fire Station

Screenshot by Destructoid

The Fire Station across the street from Hyland Medical has a similar Dead Drop stash location. This time, run around the building until you’re between it and Handy Hank’s Hardware. The Dead Drop is along the wall underneath a window.

Docks houses

Screenshot by Destructoid

It’s rare to find a Dead Drop box on someone’s house unless it also acts as a business. This Docks Dead Drop box is an exception, as it is situated right next to someone’s front door. As you enter the Docks, turn left toward the first house you see to spot this box next to a blue door and a Cuke machine.

Randy’s Bait and Tackle

Screenshot by Destructoid

The second Docks Dead Drop is right behind Randy’s Bait and Tackle shop at the end of the area. As you travel down the road, look out for a green rusted building and go behind it to spot its Dead Drop box.

South Gazebo

Screenshot by Destructoid

The last dead drop on this list is located at the bottom of Schedule 1’s map. You’ll find Suburbia’s houses and a gazebo with a Dead Drop box on its floor. It’s a long trek over here but a necessary struggle if you need some pseudo or Coca seeds.

Schedule 1 Supplier Stash map locations

Screenshot by Destructoid

Dead Drop boxes aren’t the only stash units you’ll find around Schedule 1’s map. If you’re buying weed seeds or product manufacturing ingredients from your suppliers, you’ll need to toss them some cash in their personal stashes. Below is a list of every supplier and their personal Dead Drop locations:

  1. Behind Dan’s Hardware (Albert’s Stash)
  2. Along the Warehouse’s west wall (Shirley’s Stash)
  3. Behind the Church (Salvador’s Stash)

Screenshot by Destructoid Screenshot by Destructoid Screenshot by Destructoid

While Albert’s and Shirley’s are right in Northtown, Salvador’s requires traveling up to the church near the Barn to access his drop. Considering he sells late-game ingredients, though, this makes sense. By that point in the game, you’ll likely have cars, a skateboard, or enough free time to run around and collect everything you need.

Although the maps above have every Dead Drop and Supplier Stash you’ll ever need, you can also check out our complete Schedule 1 map to learn more about other key locations in greater detail.

Summer Game Fest 2025 and (not) E3 schedule dates and times

by admin May 25, 2025

Summer Game Fest 2025 returns in June to fill the vacuum left by E3 — may it rest in peace — and will be joined by a long list of showcases from the likes of Xbox and tireless independent organizers who will put on shows like Day of the Devs and Wholesome Direct.

This year’s Summer Game Fest and Not-E3 extravaganza may look a little lighter, though. Publishers like Sony, Nintendo, and Ubisoft haven’t yet confirmed their brand of events — PlayStation Showcase, Nintendo Direct, and Ubisoft Forward, respectively — but some of that may change as we approach what would normally be E3 season.

In this guide to Summer Game Fest and not-E3 2025, we’ll run down the conference schedule, with dates and times across time zones in North America and Europe, and what to expect from each one. (This story will be updated with new events and details as they are announced.)

Image: Summer Game Fest

Where to watch: YouTube, Twitch
When it starts: Friday, June 6, at 2 p.m. PST/5 p.m. EST/10 p.m. BST

Summer Game Fest 2025 kicks things off on Friday, June 6. Geoff Keighley’s annual showcase of the big games coming in 2025, 2026, and beyond will stream live from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. SGF 2025 is expected to run about two hours.

With its focus on the types of games that would normally be reserved for E3 showcases past, expect the biggest reveals of AAA sequels, surprises, and world premiere exclusives to show up at Summer Game Fest 2025. Also, probably expect an appearance from Hideo Kojima. Here’s everything that was announced at SGF 2024, for an idea of what to expect.

Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition

Image: Day of the Devs, Summer Game Fest

Where to watch: YouTube, Twitch
When it starts: Friday, June 6, at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. EST/12 a.m. BST

The Summer Game Fest edition of Day of the Devs will stream live on June 6, at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. EST/11 p.m. GMT, immediately after SGF 2025 wraps. Day of the Devs, a non-profit co-production from Double Fine Productions and iam8bit, will reveal and highlight some of the best, most creative indie games from a wide variety of creators. Looking for something original and maybe a little weird? Then don’t miss this show.

Image: Wholesome Games

Where to watch: YouTube, Twitch
When it starts: Saturday, June 7, at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST/5 p.m. BST

You wanna get cozy? Let’s get cozy. Wholesome Direct returns Saturday, June 7, promising “a vibrant lineup of artistic, uplifting, and emotionally resonant games from developers of all sizes from around the world.”

The Future Games Show Summer Showcase promises to highlight “some of the most exciting games on the horizon,” with world premieres, exclusive game demos, developer interviews, and new trailers from more than 40 games. Confirmed to appear are Supermassive Games’ Directive 8020, Hangar 13’s Mafia: The Old Country , and Crisol: Theater of Idols from Blumhouse Games. Actors Laura Bailey and Matthew Mercer will host this year’s Future Games Show Summer Showcase.

Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase 2025 will be streamed live on Sunday, June 8, starting at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST/6 p.m. GMT. The Xbox team promises a look at upcoming titles from Xbox Game Studios and third-party partners.

Immediately following the Xbox Games Showcase, Obsidian Entertainment will get its own The Outer Worlds 2 Direct showcase, offering a deep dive into this year’s highly anticipated sci-fi RPG sequel.

Image: Future

Where to watch: YouTube, Twitch, Facebook
When it starts: Sunday, June 8, at 12 p.m. PST/3 p.m. EST/8 p.m. BST

PC Gamer’s PC Gaming Show will show PC games — and nothing but PC games — on Sunday, June 8. Organizers say that this year’s PC Gaming Show will be “brimming with exclusives, announcements, world premieres and behind the scenes developer interviews,” viewers can look forward to over 50 games on PC, Steam Deck, Linux and MacOS this season of summer events and broadcasts—in the one and only show designed solely to celebrate all things PC gaming.” Some 50 games will be showcased, with publishers Ubisoft, Failbetter Games, Devolver Digital, and Astra Logical confirmed to appear.

PlayStation State of Play/PlayStation Showcase

Graphic: James Bareham/Polygon

Sony Interactive Entertainment hasn’t announced a PlayStation Showcase or State of Play event for the Summer Game Fest/Not-E3 season, though it typically holds one in late May or early June. According to frequent leaker Jeff Grubb, Sony has a State of Play showcase in the works for sometime in June.

Graphic: Polygon

Nintendo also typically has a Nintendo Direct presentation sometime in mid-to-late June, though the company has not yet announced such an event for 2025. But since Nintendo is about to launch Switch 2 on June 5, don’t be surprised if it has more to show regarding the next-gen console’s lineup near or after launch.

Marvel's movie schedule after delays to Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars

Marvel’s movie schedule after delays to Avengers: Doomsday & Secret Wars

by admin May 23, 2025

The Avengers will assemble again. However, it will be at a later date.

Disney has delayed the releases of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Doomsday moves from May 1, 2026, to December 18, 2026. Secret Wars heads to December 17, 2027, instead of May 7, 2027.

Disney was not done with Marvel announcements. The studio also removed three Marvel dates from its calendar: February 13, 2026; November 6, 2026; and November 5, 2027. The February date has no replacement movie, while the two November offerings are now slotted as untitled Disney films.

Only four MCU movies in Phase Six have release dates:

  • The Fantastic Four: First Steps – July 25, 2025
  • Spider-Man: Brand New Day – July 31, 2026
  • Avengers: Doomsday – December 18, 2026
  • Avengers: Secret Wars – December 17, 2027

With Doomsday moving to December, Marvel will have a year between The Fantastic Four and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It’s Marvel’s longest theatrical movie gap since 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home and 2021’s Black Widow. COVID-19 played a factor in that break from 2019 to 2021.

Disney still has a few release dates with untitled Marvel movies scheduled. July 23 is the only 2027 release besides Secret Wars. 2028 features a trio of movies on February 18, May 5, and November 10.

Disney CEO Bob Iger has now implemented a quality-over-quantity approach with Marvel projects. In May 2024, Iger said on an earnings call that going forward, Marvel will only release about two to three movies and two TV shows per year.

Marvel is betting the house on Doomsday and Secret Wars, so the Russo Brothers getting more time to deliver these two tentpoles makes sense. These two Avengers films will transition the MCU into the Mutant Era, where the X-Men will play a prominent role.

Filming on Avengers: Doomsday is underway. Marvel announced the Doomsday cast in March via live stream that ended with Robert Downey Jr. walking into frame. Downey will play the film’s villain, Doctor Doom.

Marvel currently has Thunderbolts* in theaters everywhere. The movie has grossed over $331 million worldwide in three weeks.

Schedule 1 V0.3.6 patch notes

by admin May 23, 2025

Published: May 22, 2025 01:35 pm

A new update is available for Schedule 1 players, and it includes plenty of interesting additions along with a host of bug fixes.

The update is currently available on the public beta version of the game. You can switch to the beta to test out all the changes, or wait for the full version to follow very soon.

Major Schedule 1 V0.3.6 features

Here are the major highlights of the new patch in Schedule 1.

  • Lockers have been added to the game, and they will act as replacements for employee beds. If you have employees assigned to a bed, you can’t reassign them. However, new employees can be hired and assigned to lockers. This will save space for you, and the lockers can also be used to store more items.
  • Item slot filters have also been added to allow you to manage your employees better. You can set whitelists and blacklists with items that will instruct your employees which ones they can use.
  • Employees can now switch between different properties.

Major Schedule 1 V0.3.6 improvements

Schedule, results, teams, and more

by admin May 20, 2025

The road to this year’s first CS2 Major is heating up, as the IEM Dallas 2025 shapes up to be a preview for some of the world’s strongest teams clashing from May 19 to 25.

Team Vitality, fresh off their Intel Extreme Masters Grand Slam victory, aims to sustain their winning streak in a tough 16-team field. But the Niko and m0NESY-led Team Falcons are hungry for revenge after falling short in back-to-back nail-biting grand final encounters against Vitality at IEM Melbourne and Blast Rivals Spring.

The event also marks a huge moment in CS2 history, as s1mple, often called the GOAT of Counter-Strike, makes his debut for FaZe Clan.

Here’s all you need to know about IEM Dallas 2025.
