This Anker 5K magnetic power bank is on sale for only $28

by admin August 19, 2025

The Anker 621 MagGo power bank is on sale for just $28 via Amazon, which is a discount of 30 percent. The deal applies to all five colorways, and there are some snazzy options to choose from.

This particular model didn’t make our list of the best power banks, but plenty of other Anker products did. The 621 MagGo is equipped with magnets that attach to the back of certain iPhone models, which makes it easy to charge up the handset while still using it. The 5,000 mAh device can juice up the latest flagship iPhone 16 Pro Max to around 60 percent when fully charged.

Anker

This is a thin and light device, so it’s perfect for pockets, purses, backpacks and just about anywhere else. It charges up via an included USB-C cable.

As a warning, the Anker 621 MagGo requires a magnetic connection via the smartphone itself or a magnetic case. It won’t work with non-magnetic cases. It also runs a bit hot, reaching internal temperatures of up to 118 F, which could be something to keep an eye on during use.

Rally Cools on $850M Convertible Note Sale After Google Deal

by admin August 19, 2025

TeraWulf’s (WULF) breakneck rally cooled on Tuesday as the firm increased its convertible note sale to $850 million and announced the pricing of the offering, aimed at funding its data center expansion.

The notes will mature in 2031 with 1% annual interest, and will be exchangeable into cash, stock or both at TeraWulf’s election, the company said in a Monday press release. Initial conversion price is set at $12.43 per share, representing a 32.5% premium to last week’s close.

Net proceeds are estimated at $828.7 million, and are earmarked for data center expansion with $85.5 million earmarked for capped call transactions designed to limit share dilution, the firm said. Buyers have a 13-day option to add another $150 million to the deal, which is expected to close this week.

WULF fell 5% below $9, pulling back from Monday’s $10.7 high after an almost 100% rally following a Thursday deal with AI cloud platform Fluidstack, which is backed by tech giant Google.

Under a 10-year hosting agreement, FluidStack will expand operations at TeraWulf’s Lake Mariner campus in New York, backed by Google’s $1.4 billion increase to its debt support for the project. Google now holds warrants representing a 14% equity stake in the company.

Here are 14 of our favorite deals from Amazon’s early Prime Day sale

by admin June 26, 2025

Amazon’s next Prime Day event hasn’t officially kicked off yet, but in classic Amazon fashion, the retailer has already dropped a selection of early deals ahead of its four-day sale. While steeper discounts are not likely to arrive until next month, many of the current offers are already worth considering, especially if you’re a Prime member looking to score a deal on one of Amazon’s own devices or services.

From record lows on security gear and power stations to a solid deal on what was already an affordable streaming device, these early discounts offer a great chance to save before the real deluge arrives on July 8th. And while most of these offers are exclusive to Prime members, in some cases, other retailers are price-matching Amazon, meaning non-members can still take advantage of some of the same savings.

We’ll be updating this guide over the next week or two as new deals drop, so be sure to check back often if you want to stay on top of the latest deals and discounts. We also suggest bookmarking our main Prime Day hub for additional tips, tricks, and insight into what is likely going to be one of the biggest shopping events of the year.

Amazon-owned Blink is offering steep discounts on a number of security devices ahead of Prime Day. Right now, for example, you can buy the latest Blink Outdoor security camera for just $39.99 ($39.99 off) at Amazon and Best Buy, or two Blink Outdoor 4 XRs — which is the same camera but with a Sync Module XR — for $89.99 ($90 off) at Best Buy. The outdoor security camera offers person detection and a wider field of view than the third-gen Blink Outdoor, while retaining support for motion detection, night vision, and two-way audio. The Sync Module XR just extends the range by up to 400 feet.

The best deals, however, are on bundles. For instance, you can grab a Blink Outdoor 4 alongside Blink’s latest Video Doorbell for just $69.98 ($70 off). Alternatively, you can pick up a Blink Video Doorbell with a Blink Outdoor 4 XR for $89.98 ($109.99 off). Blink’s updated doorbell improves on its solid predecessor with a wider 150-degree field of view, sharper 1440p resolution, and a better 1:1 aspect ratio that allows for a head-to-toe view of your porch. It also offers IP65 waterproofing and support for two-way audio / night vision, not to mention an impressive two years of battery life. It even supports person detection, though only with a $3/month Blink subscription plan.

If you don’t need a doorbell, Amazon is also selling a Blink Outdoor 4 with a Blink Mini 2 starting at $64.98 ($75 off), or with the Blink Outdoor 4 XR for $79.98 ($99.99 off). The Mini 2 is a relatively compact 1080p camera that offers motion alerts, two-way audio, and other core features. It’s also a meaningful upgrade over its predecessor, thanks to improved low-light performance, a wider field of view, and USB-C support. You can even use it outdoors given it carries an IP65 rating, though you will need to purchase Blink’s optional Weather-Resistant Power Adapter ($9.99) to do so.

Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K is on sale for $24.99 ($24.99 off) at Amazon and Best Buy, which is its lowest price of the year. The Fire TV Stick 4K is an excellent streaming device that supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 Plus, allowing you to enjoy sharp, vibrant picture quality on compatible 4K TVs. It also offers support for Dolby Atmos, DTS, and other HDR and surround sound formats, so you can experience more immersive audio whether you’re watching movies or gaming. It integrates well with Alexa and comes with an Alexa Voice Remote, too, so you can search for shows or adjust the volume using your voice.

If you’re looking for better sound than your TV’s built-in speaker can provide, Amazon’s Fire TV Soundbar Plus is down to an all-time low of $174.99 ($75 off) at Amazon. At 37 inches wide, it’s small enough to fit under most TVs, making it a good option for apartments or smaller living rooms. Inside, it features three speakers, three tweeters, and two woofers, along with a dedicated center channel designed to enhance dialogue clarity. It also supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS True Volume, allowing a more immersive listening experience. It features four different listening modes as well — Movie, Music, Sports, and Night — which adjust the sound profile to match what you’re watching, whether you’re after loud, booming sound or a quieter, late-night vibe.

Whether you’re juggling smart devices inside or working in the backyard, the Eero Max 7 router and new Eero Outdoor 7 deliver reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi wherever you are on your property. And right now, you can buy both at Amazon as a part of a bundle starting at $699.99 ($300 off), which is a new low price.

The Eero Max 7 is designed for high-performance streaming, gaming, and future-proofing your smart home setup. It features Wi-Fi 7 support and speeds up to 10Gbps, with coverage suitable for homes up to 2,500 sq. ft. per unit. For those looking to extend their reliable Wi-Fi signal beyond indoor walls, the Eero Outdoor 7 offers the same high-speed performance but is designed specifically for outdoor environments. It carries an IP66 weatherproof rating — ensuring it can withstand rain, dust, and extreme temperatures — while delivering coverage across up to 15,000 square feet.

If you don’t want to buy a Blink security camera, Ring also sells some great security devices that play well with both Alexa and other Ring gadgets. A few of these are on sale right now — including a notable deal that pairs a Ring Doorbell Battery with a Ring Indoor Cam 2, all for $69.99 ($70 off) at Amazon.

The battery-powered Ring Doorbell Battery is a basic 1080 buzzer that borrows a couple of features from the Battery Doorbell Plus, which is one of our favorite video doorbells. While it doesn’t have a removable battery, it improves on the older Ring Video Doorbell 2 with a 1:1 aspect ratio and a 150-degree field of view, giving you a full, top-to-bottom view of who or what is at the door. Like the Plus, it also supports color night vision and uses a PIR sensor for motion-activated recording.

The Ring Indoor Cam 2, meanwhile, is a basic 1080p camera that supports motion-activated recording, color night vision, and a built-in siren that can be triggered manually from the Ring app. One of its most notable features is the physical privacy shutter, which allows you to block the camera’s lens and disable the microphone. If you pay for a Ring Home subscription, which starts at $4.99 a month, you’ll also gain access to a host of other features, including an in-app SOS button that allows you to request police, fire, or medical help.

Normally $139.99, you can currently buy a refurbished Fire HD 10 tablet at Amazon with 32GB of storage and ads for $69.99. With its 10.1-inch HD display, octa-core processor, and 3GB of RAM, the Fire HD 10 is a solid budget slate for entertainment purposes. While it’s not as powerful as an iPad, it handles casual web browsing, reading, and light gaming well enough. Its 1080p screen is one of the best in Amazon’s lineup, too, while built-in stylus support and handwriting recognition mean you can also use it to take notes (though you’ll have to buy the optional Made for Amazon stylus separately).

If you’re looking for a portable power station for outdoor adventures or that inevitable power outage, the Jackery Explorer 1000 V2 is available for an all-time low of around $448.99 ($350 off) from Amazon and Jackery. The 23-pound power station is relatively lightweight and portable, with three AC outlets that can output up to 1,500W. It also boasts a pair of USB-C ports, a single USB-A port, and a DC car port, allowing you to charge phones, laptops, cameras, and even small appliances (including your mini fridge). It also charges significantly faster than prior models and boasts a handy LED light, making it a versatile companion for camping, road trips, and emergencies at home.

  • You can buy a Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam with a Ring Pet Tag for $44.99 ($44.99 off) at Amazon, which is a new low price. Ring’s Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam rotates 360 degrees on a motorized base, which you can control via the Ring app. The wired 1080p camera also offers a physical privacy cover — just like the second-gen Ring Indoor Cam — along with support for video and color night vision, two-way talk, motion detection, and a built-in siren. The Ring Pet Tag, on the other hand, attaches to your pet’s collar and links to a digital profile anyone can access via a QR code.
  • The Alexa Voice Remote Pro is now available for just $24.99 ($10 off) at Amazon and Best Buy, marking its lowest price to date. The backlit remote features a built-in remote finder, allowing you to quickly locate it using either Amazon’s Fire TV app or a compatible smart speaker. It also features customizable shortcut buttons that you can program to instantly launch your favorite apps, as well as compatibility with most Fire TV streaming devices and smart TVs. Read our review.
  • Amazon is selling the Eero 6 mesh router for $64.99 ($15 off), which is one of its best prices to date. While it lacks Wi-Fi 7 support and isn’t as fast as the newer Eero 7 models, it still delivers up to 900Mbps and covers up to 1,500 sq. ft. It’s a solid, budget-friendly choice for basic streaming, browsing, and smart home use.
  • You can buy an Echo Glow at Amazon for $19.99 ($10 off), which is $3 shy of its lowest price to date. The 100-lumen LED lamp is designed primarily for children, and as such, it can cycle through multiple colors with just a tap, function as a visual timer, and automatically dim when it’s time for bed. It’s also compatible with Alexa, meaning you can control it with your voice when paired with a compatible Echo device.
  • Right now, Amazon is offering a free month of Kindle Unlimited, which normally runs $11.99 a month. The subscription gives you access to more than four million e-books, along with thousands of audiobooks and digital magazines. Just remember to cancel our subscription before the trial period ends if you don’t want to be automatically charged at the end of the limited window.
  • Amazon’s Luna Controller is on sale for $39.99 ($30 off) at Amazon, which matches its best price to date. Although it was built primarily for Amazon’s cloud-gaming service, the gamepad offers support for both Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity, rendering it compatible with Android phones, Apple products, Fire TV devices, and PCs. It also integrates with Alexa, allowing you to issue voice commands directly through the controller when paired with a Fire TV device.

A criminally underrated action game with a soundtrack I’m still listening to 9 years later is on sale for just 2 bucks on Steam, and I already bought it again

by admin June 22, 2025

Ahead of Steam’s Summer Sale next week, The Game Bakers’ excellent 2016 bullet hell dueling game Furi is having a little sale of its own. The normally $20 game can be had for just $2, and I’m taking the opportunity to buy the dang thing again myself.

Former PC Gamer editor James Davenport gave Furi an 86% in his review at the game’s launch all the way back in 2016 (Christ alive), calling it one of the year’s “biggest surprises.” “Furi’s combat is shallow, and I mean that as a compliment,” James wrote. “All you can do is observe, react, and punish. It’s advanced Bop-It, a lighting quick series of rock-paper-scissors, the Grand Finals in fly-swatting—Furi exercises the hell out of a very small set of abilities until they feel like they were always there.”

Instead of the usual flow of levels between boss fights, Furi is one long gauntlet of nine unique duels, with just short, meditative walking sequences in-between. You play as a bad ass cyborg ninja dude with a sword and a gun (the vibe is very Hyper Light), and the fights begin with top-down bullet hell shooting before transitioning into a Sekiro-style close-in melee of deflecting and dodging—two years before Sekiro even released.

Related articles

Furi rules so hard, and it’s both shocking and a little bit impressive that the devs at The Game Bakers don’t seem interested in revisiting the concept, instead shifting genres with every new game.

In 2020 the studio released the romantic RPG Haven (read our review here), while PC Gaming Show editorial director Jake Tucker thinks the upcoming Cairn is the best climbing game he’s ever played. The Game Bakers made one of the best action games of the 2010s, then ambled off to do something else. Respect.

I’d be remiss if I failed to mention the soundtrack: This is Music You Can Lift Weights To, and I do. Often. Furi’s OST shares a lot of artists with the iconic Hotline Miami soundtracks, another gaming gym banger favorite, and Waveshaper’s track “Wisdom of Rage” has been a Spotify most-played for me every year since Furi came out. It all contributes to this laconic, classically cool vibe that reminds me of shows like Afro Samurai or Samurai Champloo.

But it’s been a minute since I played. Furi was an early arrival on the Switch eShop, and that’s how I first experienced it. At $2 though, it’s about time I gave it the place of honor it deserves in my Steam Library. Furi will remain 90% off until this Thursday, June 26.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Sony quietly removes PC sale restrictions in dozens of countries for four huge PlayStation games

by admin June 14, 2025

Sony has seemingly loosened regional restrictions on a number of its PC games, including God of War Ragnarök, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Helldivers 2.

As spotted by Wario64, the changelogs for all aforementioned games listed on SteamDB show that a number of sale restrictions were quietly lifted yesterday, 13th June.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered’s Roguelike No Return Mode Explained: TLOU2 No Return Gameplay PS5.Watch on YouTube

Although Sony made no public comment concerning the furore about sales restrictions invoked in countries where PSN isn’t available or shared any plans to address it, check SteamDB and you’ll see that the games have indeed trimmed down the number of countries where they’re unavailable (thanks, PC Gamer). Just one region was added to the restricted sale list: Russian Federation.

This all started, of course, when Helldivers 2 was review-bombed last year following a PSN requirement which led to the game being pulled from sale in 177 countries. The company quickly u-turned its decision following the backlash but not before several Sony-published games were caught up in the controversy. Most recently Stellar Blade found itself at the centre of the backlash even though developer Shift Up had stated a PSN account was only optional and not a formal requirement.

On the subject of Sony, president Hideaki Nishino recently stated the company is open to adjusting the price of PlayStation Plus in the future, as the company aims to “maximise profitability”.

The comments came as part of a discussion between Sony CEO Hermen Hulst and president Hideaki Nishino on PS Plus and the company’s future. Discussing Sony’s subscription service, Nishino stated: “We will continue to add more value and adjust our pricing strategy in a dynamic way to maximise profitability.”

The Sonos Era 300 is 20 percent off in this home speaker sale

Sonos speakers and soundbars are on sale for record-low prices

by admin June 14, 2025

Sonos is selling a bunch of its speakers at a discount on its own site and Amazon. This includes the well-regarded Era 300 smart speaker, which is down to just $359. That’s 20 percent off and notable because this particular speaker rarely goes on sale. It’s a Sonos miracle!

The deal applies to both the black and white colorways. The Era 300 is a highly capable device that we praised in our official review, saying that it “sounds excellent.” We went on to say that it offers a premium experience that far surpasses other products in the company’s lineup, like the Era 100. This is also true when compared to rival speakers like Apple’s HomePod.

Sonos

It’s simple to set up and offers the company’s proprietary Trueplay tuning system. This feature optimizes the sound of the speaker to the unique acoustics of a room by leveraging an internal microphone. It measures how sound reflects off surfaces and adjusts the EQ to match. It’s pretty nifty.

As for connectivity, it can pair with another Era 300 speaker for a true stereo experience. It also includes a Bluetooth receiver and line-in options. Of course, the speaker integrates with just about every streaming music service. The built-in mic also allows for voice assistant control, but only with Siri and Alexa. Google Assistant is left out of the party.

This speaker goes all-in on spatial audio, and the results are mixed. Sometimes it’s sublime and sometimes it’s kind of eh. This is more of a dig on the technology itself. It has serious potential but is still experiencing growing pains. The only real downside of this speaker is the exorbitant asking price, which has been slightly alleviated by this sale.

As previously mentioned, other Sonos products are available at a discount. This includes the Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbar, which is 26 percent off at $369, and the Era 100, which is down to $179. These deals are also available via Sonos itself. There’s also an ongoing sale on portable speakers that includes the Move 2 and the Roam 2.

inZOI is on sale for the first time to celebrate the big June update

by admin June 13, 2025

It seems like things are getting exciting in the world of inZOI once again, after what felt like months of no comms and some patch delays. Earlier this week, the team behind the life sim finally announced a release date for its next update.

What was initially billed as the May update missed that window by quite a margin, but was officially given a proper release date – in June – just a few days ago. Update v0.2.0 arrives today, and with it, a discount that could maybe tempt those who have yet to jump in.

To see this content please enable targeting cookies.

Manage cookie settings

This is inZOI’s first-ever discount since its release back in March. It’s part of a larger sale for publisher Krafton, which also happens to be the company’s first publisher sale on Steam. 17 titles from the publisher’s catalogue are on sale from now until Thursday, June 26.

Sale percentages vary, and in inZOI’s case, the discount is a bit meagre, slashing the price by just 10%. Now, the game is still in Early Access, and never had the price of a AAA title to begin with, so it’s not exactly the sort of thing to get a bigger 20-30% off – at least not quite yet.

Watch on YouTube

The latest inZOI patch introduces official mod support to the game in the form of ModKit, adds same-sex relationships, the ability for Zois to have – and adopt – children, and much more besides.

Things are popping off elsewhere in the world of life sims and The Sims-likes, too. Paralives, a highly-anticipated, long-in-development Sims-like, recently set a release date for its Steam Early Access launch. The Sims 4 itself just dropped the first trailer for Enchanted by Nature, the game’s next expansion which is set to arrive in July.

Strong Uptake at 10-Year U.S. Debt Sale Counters Demand Concerns, 30-Year Sale May Provide More Evidence

by admin June 12, 2025

Wednesday’s auction of 10-year U.S. Treasury notes undermined the narrative that investors are moving away from U.S. government debt, the bedrock of global finance, and pouring money instead into bitcoin

and gold.

Thursday’s sale of $22 billion of 30-year bonds may provide further clues to investor confidence in the fiscal policies of U.S. President Donald Trump since he initiated the global trade war in early April and help signal whether the notes are losing their shine as the premier fixed-income instrument backed by the deepest liquidity and low credit risk.

At the June 11 auction, demand for the $39 billion of 10-year notes, which offered a yield of 4.421%, outstripped supply by more than 2.5 times, according to Exante Data, and the primary dealer takedown was reportedly just 9%, the fourth-lowest on record. That’s a sign investors did most of the heavy buying. Primary dealers are the institutions authorized by the central bank to trade government bonds, and the takedown refers to the amount of newly issued debt they absorb themselves.

Worsening debt situation

As of June, the U.S. total gross national debt is over $36 trillion, more than 120% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).

The deficit, or the excess of government expenditure over revenue, was $1.8 trillion in 2024. The figure is expected to increase by $2.4 trillion in the coming years due to Trump’s tax cut plans. As of now, the U.S. pays $1 trillion as the cost of servicing the debt.

The new issuance, therefore, is more likely to exacerbate the problem and has several analysts pointing to bitcoin and gold as a hedge against the fiscal crisis.
