TRENDING RUMORS

– Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee is contemplating a move to Serie A side Como in January, with Juventus also interested, according to The Sun. No agreement has been reached yet with either Italian side, but United are open to either a loan or permanent move when the window opens on Jan. 1. Zirkzee, 24, has been at United for just 14 months after joining for €42.5 million from Bologna under Erik ten Haag’s tenure, but he has found game time hard to come by under new boss Ruben Amorim, as all of his appearances this season have come from the bench. Como boss Cesc Fabregas sees the Netherlands international as the perfect profile for the Serie A side, while Juve could reignite previous interest from the summer.

– Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté could now stay at Liverpool, despite reports suggesting a free transfer to Real Madrid is on the cards when his contract expires next summer. L’Equipe says that talks over a new deal at Anfield are edging towards an agreement, with the 26-year-old France international free to talk to non-English clubs from January. However, it appears that Konate wants to continue playing under Arne Slot, and that though a number of points are yet to be agreed, his stay is likely.

But, playing against players five years older than him, he could start against Saudi Arabia in Nigeria’s next game.

– Manchester United and Tottenham are leading Fulham in the race for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney, according to TEAMtalk. Hackney, 23, starred for Boro last season and has started the new campaign where he left off, with one goal and two assists as his side top the Championship by four points. The England U21 international attracted interest during the summer but no official bid was received, though that could change in January.

– With speculation mounting over the future of Ruben Amorim at Manchester United, Bournemouth are moving quickly in an attempt to get boss Andoni Iraola to sign a new deal beyond 2026 to fend off any interest from Old Trafford. TalkSPORT claims that the unbeaten Cherries are intensifying talks with the 43-year-old manager after an impressive start to the season, which sees them sit sixth in the table despite losing a host of key players in the summer.

Massive $415 Million XRP Transfer Hits Ledger, Ripple Rumors Follow

by admin September 22, 2025

  • XRP price sell-off triggers cascade of liquidations
  • Bottom line

Whale Alert tracked a single transfer of 141,818,659 XRP, worth $415,624,232 at the time. At first, it appeared to be a typical mystery whale transaction, or possibly Ripple moving its supply.

However, on-chain data suggests otherwise, as both ends of the transaction are Kraken-linked addresses. The sending account’s last outbound transfer was for 99,018,954 XRP, and the receiving account — activated via a Kraken tag — now holds 141,818,661 XRP.

This suggests internal shuffling between exchange wallets rather than tokens being released onto the market.

XRP price sell-off triggers cascade of liquidations

The transfer itself did not affect the price right away. XRP traded at around $2.85 after the alert was issued. It was not until approximately four hours later that Bitstamp showed a decline to $2.68 — a fall of around 6% from the intraday high — before recovering to above $2.82.

The dump likely came from separate market flows, while the transaction was an event of exchange management that just happened to hit public feeds on the same day.

Bottom line

Major platforms commonly make these kinds of giant wallet moves to rebalance hot and cold storage, stage liquidity for clients or consolidate deposits. It is the notional size that grabs attention, because $415 million in one transaction is enough to raise eyebrows, even if the coins never touch the order book.

Ripple was not involved here, but every time hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of XRP are reshuffled on the blockchain, the conversation comes back to Ripple’s role.

The touchscreen MacBook rumors are never ending

by admin September 22, 2025

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo took to X on Wednesday to claim that a MacBook Pro with an OLED touchscreen was expected to enter mass production by late 2026. Today Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is following up to remind us that he was reporting on a touchscreen MacBook Pro way back in 2023. He confirmed Kuo’s timeline was correct. Since Gurman’s original story, the launch date has been pushed back from late 2025, to late 2026 or early 2027.

Apple has traditionally been resistant to the idea of merging the iPad and MacBook lines, and still likely won’t do it completely. But according to Gurman iPad sales have begun to taper off, and customers increasingly expect touch-based interfaces, even on their laptops. This is in part because many Windows laptops now include touchscreens by default. So Apple is feeling the pressure to bring the two product lines more in sync with each other.

TRENDING RUMORS

– Barcelona have identified Manchester City striker Erling Haaland as their dream replacement for 37-year-old Robert Lewandowski, says Football Insider. Haaland, 25, has scored 130 goals in 151 games since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2022 and he signed a new nine-and-a-half-year contract January. City aren’t looking to let the Norway international leave, and it would take an offer of £150 million to start talks, which Barcelona would need to raise by letting other players go.

– Crystal Palace center back Marc Guéhi has now told his advisors that his heart is set on a move to Real Madrid, after his deadline day move to Liverpool fell through, says by The Mirror. Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté already looks set to leave as a free agent in the summer, with Los Blancos one of the clubs interested in the France international, but they could also land Guehi for nothing. Elsewhere, Marca reports that Bayern Munich center back Dayot Upamecano has offered himself to Real Madrid as a free agent with his contract also expiring in the summer.

– Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes is the latest name being considered by AC Milan as they look into possible replacements for Mike Maignan in the summer, as reported by Calciomercato. Cagliari’s Elia Caprile and Parma’s Zion Suzuki are also among the candidates and will be closely monitored throughout the season. Even so, the Rossoneri haven’t given up on keeping Maignan past his contract’s expiration in 2026, despite renewal negotiations having stalled for several months.

TRENDING RUMORS

– Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson has emerged as a January target for Manchester United, according to TEAMtalk. With winter moves for Brighton and Hove Albion’s Carlos Baleba and Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton deemed unlikely, Anderson is regarded as a potential solution to United’s current midfield crisis. Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim is set to be given the funds to try and sign Anderson for around £70 million, although Forest might not be willing to let him go following his impressive start to the season. The 22-year-old made his international debut for England earlier this month, starring in a pair of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.

– Liverpool could be set to enter the race for Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, TEAMtalk has revealed. The Cameroon international has been heavily linked with Manchester United this summer, but it is reported that their Premier League rivals are now also tracking his progress. A move for Baleba in January isn’t expected to be sanctioned, as Brighton remain “extremely reluctant” to let him go midway through the season. Nevertheless, an offer in excess of £100 million may be enough to secure a deal for the talented 21-year-old next summer.

– AC Milan are plotting a €15 million move for Udinese defender Thomas Kristensen in January, says Gazzetta dello Sport. The 6-foot-6 Denmark international has impressed so far this season, and will face off against Milan this weekend where scouts will be watching. Kristensen, 23, was also wanted by Aston Villa this summer, although the Premier League side didn’t officially lodge a bid, and he is under contract at Udinese until June 2028.

– Manchester United pulled out of a move to sign goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma before he chose Manchester City, says the Daily Telegraph. Donnarumma, 26, moved from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of around £26m in the summer, but the total financial package including his wages would have been around £130m and that was too much for United.

– Newcastle United remain interested in Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, says Football Insider. While the Red Devils are unlikely to sanction a loan deal in January, it is thought a “lucrative” offer for a permanent transfer could soften their stance. Mainoo is targeting regular first-team football this season, with the 2026 FIFA World Cup on the horizon. Mainoo, 20, was left out of Thomas Tuchel’s most recent England squad.

– Arsenal center back William Saliba is an option for Real Madrid in 2026, despite having brought in Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alvaro Carreras to strengthen the backline this summer. There are “various names on the agenda” but says one of them is Saliba, with Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konaté being a “cheap alternative” as he’ll be out of contract next year. (AS)

TRENDING RUMORS

– Manchester City are considering a shock move for Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, according to TEAMtalk. The report adds that the 20-year-old is also on the radar of Chelsea and Newcastle United. Mainoo wanted to leave Old Trafford on loan in January due to his frustration over a lack of game time under Ruben Amorim, but the Red Devils were unwilling to let that happen. TEAMtalk reports that England international Mainoo, who has another two years to run on his existing contract at Old Trafford, could be worth as much as £70 million on the transfer market.

– Juventus general manager Damien Comolli will look to see if a move for Bernardo Silva is possible when the midfielder’s Manchester City contract expires in the summer, Tuttosport reports. The Bianconeri have taken inspiration from AC Milan and Napoli’s moves for Luka Modric and Kevin De Bruyne respectively. They expect competition for the 31-year-old from clubs in Europe (including his former club Benfica), the United States and the United Arab Emirates and hope the Portugal international will maintain his desire to play at the top level.

– Alexia Putellas has decided to stay at Barcelona for at least one more season after receiving a “tempting and powerful” offer from Paris Saint-Germain, reports Mundo Deportivo. As part of this decision, the midfielder has an agreement with Barça to allow for her amicable departure in the summer if she wants to leave the club, although she could just as easily extend her contract. This comes with the Liga F club telling PSG they would have to pay the 31-year-old’s release clause for her to leave in the final days of this window. Meanwhile, another Mundo Deportivo report claims that PSG remain fixated on Putellas and could pay her €1 million release clause.

– Following La Gazzetta dello Sport’s report on Real Madrid’s plan to re-sign attacking midfielder Nico Paz from Como, the Italian outlet has given an insight into the clauses that could allow the move to happen. The option to bring back the 21-year-old for €9 miullion has already passed, but they could sign him for €10 million in 2026 or €11 million in 2027, while Los Blancos would also earn half of the fee from a transfer to another club and have the opportunity to match any offers received by Como.

Borderlands 4 Publisher Denies Rumors About Spyware In The Game

by admin September 13, 2025

By the end of this weekend, Borderlands 4 is probably going to be one of the biggest launches of 2025. It hasn’t gone off without a hitch, however. The game has been hit hard by negative reviews on Steam over its PC optimization. Now, Borderlands 4 has been accused of including spyware by some vocal fans online. Those rumors have been so pervasive that Borderlands 4 publisher Take-Two Interactive has already shared a statement denying them.

The issue at hand involves the kernel-level anti-cheat in Borderlands 4, which some have accused of being modified to collect data about players. Borderlands 4’s updated terms of service was also presented as evidence that the game was being used to spy on players, hence the response from Take-Two.

“Take-Two does not use spyware in its games,” wrote a company spokesperson on Steam. “Take-Two’s Privacy Policy applies to all labels, studios, games, and services across all media and platform types such as console, PC, mobile app, and website. The Privacy Policy identifies the data activities that may be collected, but this does not mean that every example is collected in each game or service.”

The company acknowledges that it does collect information about users “to deliver its services to players,” including personalization and compatibility options. Take-Two’s position is that it discloses this info in the terms of service to be transparent with fans.

PC Gamer noted that the latest furor over spyware stemmed from “a misleading YouTube video prompting fans to play a game of telephone about the changes to the EULA over Reddit and forum threads, and a bout of short-lived Steam review bombing that hasn’t accomplished much of anything.”

Similar concerns about older games from the company surfaced earlier this summer, which essentially received the same response from Take-Two as the latest allegations. The company also asserted that its updated terms allow it to go after “abusive mods” that don’t respect the intellectual property of the company, while allowing single-player non-commercial mods to be distributed freely among fans.

Gearbox has shared links for optimizing NVIDIA card graphics settings and a PC troubleshooting guide for anyone having trouble running the game. Players who need some in-game help should check out GameSpot’s Borderlands 4 guide hub for tips and secrets.

Ordóñez’s performances have also caught the attention of Liverpool scouts and clubs from Spain and Germany. – Inter Milan are considering moving for Dusan Vlahovic when the striker leaves Juventus as a free agent at the end of the season, Calciomercato reports. Vlahovic’s time in Turin looks set to go no further than next summer, when he is out of contract with little prospect of a new deal on reduced terms being accepted. The Serbia international could have left in the last transfer window, but was unwilling to accept a drop in his €12 million salary. There is now a resignation that the Vlahovic, 25, will depart when his contract ends, but Inter’s interest isn’t concrete yet due to the financial demands and the club’s hopes for young forward Francesco Esposito.

– Borussia Dortmund could try to permanently sign Aaron Anselmino if the 20-year-old centre-back impresses on loan from Chelsea, Sport Bild reports. The Bundesliga club will take a similar approach to their one regarding Carney Chukwuemeka, when they capitalised on the midfielder’s desire to return to BVB so they could push the fee down to €20m plus add-ons rather than meeting the Blues’ request of €35m. There is no permanent option included in Anselmino’s loan.

– AEK Athens forward Anthony Martial is getting closer to joining Sergio Ramos and Lucas Ocampos at Liga MX club Monterrey, according to L’Equipe. AEK Athens had also been in talk with Pumas UNAM, but it is now expected that the 29-year-old will be representing Monterrey with negotiations close to being completed. Martial moved to Greece last September having previously been contracted to Manchester United since 2015.

Rumors Of BlackRock Buying XRP Via Coinbase Makes Waves. Is An XRP ETF Filing Coming?

The Ripple community is once again caught up in speculation after data showed a steep drop in Coinbase’s XRP holdings. Instead of seeing it as a sell-off, some commentators believe the decline could be linked to BlackRock quietly moving into position through Coinbase Custody. The rumors are persistent, even though BlackRock has already shot down earlier claims about a Spot XRP ETF filing. Nonetheless, this has left many to wonder if there’s more happening behind the scenes than the company is willing to admit.

Coinbase’s Holdings And BlackRock Rumor

Recent on-chain data revealed that Coinbase’s XRP stash has decreased drastically since the second quarter of 2025. This decrease has seen the amount of coins held by Coinbase fall from 780.13 million to about 199 million, with a 57% fall in August alone.

Considering the scale of this decline, the movement has stirred up different rumors. Some investors are of the notion that these are actually intended sell-offs by Coinbase, while others are of the notion that they are only strategic transfers involving institutions. Crypto analyst Crypto X AiMan addressed the situation in a video posted on the social media platform X, where he noted that Coinbase is not dumping the coin, despite claims circulating within the community.

According to the analyst, the reduction is more likely linked to BlackRock, and his team had previously highlighted multiple BlackRock-XRP connections. As such, he admonished investors not to interpret the drop in Coinbase’s wallets as bearish but rather as a sign of shifting custody arrangements, possibly connected to the world’s largest asset manager.

BlackRock’s Position On An XRP ETF

Comments about BlackRock’s interest in the digital asset are growing louder each day, but it is worth noting that the company has already denied reports of filing for a Spot XRP ETF. A company spokesperson for BlackRock recently clarified that no such product has been filed with the SEC.

Nevertheless, the decrease in Coinbase’s wallets coincides with recent developments involving BlackRock’s partnership with Coinbase, which suggests that an official move relating to a Spot XRP ETF could be in the works. Given BlackRock’s embrace of other crypto ETFs, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, it is only a matter of time before the altcoin joins the lineup.

Although BlackRock has not confirmed any intentions, the rumors alone have increased interest among many holders, as shown by comments on social media. As many as eight other asset managers have filed for a Spot XRP ETF with the SEC, and many investors are still anticipating that a formal filing might arrive sooner than expected.

At the time of writing, the connection between Coinbase’s reduced holdings and BlackRock is speculative, but as the third-largest crypto by market cap, the idea of Spot XRP ETFs hitting the market soon should not be ruled out.
