ZachXBT Blasts Ripple Holders, Reveals Why He Does Not Assist/Support The XRP Community

by admin August 30, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

The crypto space is talking after blockchain investigator ZachXBT turned his attention to Ripple investors and the XRP community at large. In a series of direct posts, he stated that he does not support Ripple holders and even joked that he would mock anyone who sent him a private message.

ZachXBT Calls XRP Holders “Exit Liquidity” For Insiders

In his posts, ZachXBT explained why he keeps his distance from the XRP community. “I do not currently assist the XRP community and will make fun of anyone who sends me a DM,” he wrote. He went further to say that Ripple holders are not worth supporting because they provide “nothing of value to the industry except exit liquidity for insiders.”

The on-chain detective also noted that the supply of XRP remains heavily controlled by insiders. In his view, this makes the token less attractive and prevents fair growth. He added that the community around XRP behaves more like a cult than a group trying to build real technology. According to him, Ripple holders focus too much on hype, price promotion, and defending their token, rather than driving innovation.

ZachXBT grouped XRP holders with other communities he sees as structurally weak. He says that they share the same problems: strong promotion, defensive attitudes, and little to no useful progress. Due to his reputation as a respected blockchain investigator, his comments drew attention, despite being divisive. Because he has exposed crypto scams and shady financial transactions, ZachXBT has gained influence over time, and his words now carry more weight.

On-Chain Detective Rejects MLM Chains And Community Shilling

ZachXBT also explained that his criticism goes beyond XRP alone. He said, “I discriminate against MLM chains,” comparing many projects in the market to pyramid schemes. In his view, these chains operate with little real utility but rely on hype, recruiting new buyers, and constant shilling by communities to keep the system alive.

He described a pattern of insider enrichment, where early insiders and influencers cash out with profits while late retail buyers are left holding losses. This setup, he argued, also suits the XRP community, as it is more about aggressive promotion than genuine innovation.

ZachXBT also discussed the behavior of these communities. He described their behavior as cult-like, with members becoming very defensive and spending more energy on pushing “numbers go up” rather than creating long-term value. In his opinion, this is one of the reasons why these projects do not advance the crypto industry.

ZachXBT’s comments may prompt the crypto space to reassess XRP, its community support, and whether the token’s future lies in real utility or is simply an asset used by insiders for profit. A fresh wave of verbal shrapnel could happen within the XRP community, as some agree with him while others defend Ripple’s token.

Ripple Swell 2025 Is Almost Here: Here’s What To Expect From The Event

by admin August 29, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Ripple Swell 2025 is fast approaching, even as members of the XRP community look forward to the bullish announcements that could come at the conference. The crypto firm also unveiled featured speakers at the event, including its executives Brad Garlinghouse and Chris Larsen.

Details About The Ripple Swell 2025

Ripple has announced that the Swell event will take place in New York from November 4 to 5. Featured speakers include Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Co-founder Chris Larsen, President Monica Long, Nasdaq’s Chair Adena Friedman, and renowned chef José Andrés. Executives from BlackRock, Fidelity, Bitwise, Citi, CME Group, and Franklin Templeton are also set to speak at the event.

The Ripple Swell event will cover several topics that touch on the firm’s customers, team members, and industry thought leaders, as well as how financial institutions and businesses are leveraging cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. These topics will include tokenization, payments, regional regulatory process, and crypto financial services.

These are all topics that Ripple, as a firm, is conversant with, given its operations. The company has secured several partnerships this year to promote tokenization on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), including one with Ondo Finance to launch its tokenized treasuries on the network. Meanwhile, Ripple is known for its payment service, which is why the discussion around payments could be very insightful.

It is worth noting that the crypto firm is expected to finalize its deal to acquire the stablecoin platform Rail around the time of the Swell event. As such, this could be one of the major talking points during the event. Ripple earlier highlighted why the Rail acquisition was strategic, as it would enable the company to offer virtual accounts and automated back-office infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Ripple has had its fair share of dealing with regulators, particularly in light of the XRP lawsuit. As such, the regulatory topic at the Swell event is expected to garner significant attention, as the company’s executives discuss how they have navigated the regulatory landscape. Notably, the company’s Chief Legal Officer (CLO), Stuart Alderoty, is also one of the featured speakers.

XRP Community Reacts To Latest Swell Announcement

In an X post, Ripple revealed that Chris Larsen and José Andrés will be the Keynote speakers at the event. XRP community members such as BankXRP shared their delight at the fact that Larsen will be speaking at the event. BankXRP noted that it has been a while since the Ripple co-founder has made an appearance.

On the other hand, community members have questioned why Chef Andrés is speaking at the event and as a keynote speaker. Ripple didn’t reveal what the renowned chef will be speaking on. However, it could relate to the adoption of cryptocurrency in businesses or his humanitarian work, which is a significant development for the firm, considering its philanthropic efforts.

At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.90, down over 3% in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Ripple, Circle back Tazapay to expand cross-border payments

by admin August 27, 2025

Singapore-based cross-border payments firm Tazapay has secured new funding from Ripple and Circle Ventures, positioning itself as a key bridge between traditional finance and stablecoin-powered transactions.

Summary

  • Ripple and Circle invested in Singapore-based Tazapay’s Series B round.
  • The cross-border payments platform processes $10B+ annually and is growing 300% YoY.
  • Funds will accelerate licensing in the U.S., UAE, Hong Kong, Australia, and beyond.

Tazapay announced on Aug. 27 that it closed its Series B funding round with participation from Peak XV Partners, Ripple (U.S.), Circle Ventures, Norinchukin Capital (Japan), and GMO VenturePartners (Japan).

Existing investors January Capital and ARC180 also joined the round, while Peak XV Partners, formerly Sequoia Capital India and Southeast Asia, led the financing. The company did not disclose the amount raised.

Bridging fiat and stablecoins

The addition of Ripple and Circle, two of the most prominent players in blockchain-based and stablecoin payments, highlights Tazapay’s growing role in linking fiat systems with digital asset infrastructure. Circle, the issuer of USD Coin (USDC), and Ripple, the firm behind the XRP (XRP) Ledger, are expected to help Tazapay strengthen its fiat-to-stablecoin settlement rails in emerging markets.

The Singapore-based company already processes more than $10 billion in annualized payment volume and claims 300% year-over-year growth. It offers coverage across alternative payment methods, cards, virtual accounts, payouts, and stablecoin settlements.

Regulatory expansion

Tazapay, which already holds licenses in Singapore, Canada, and the EU, plans to accelerate licensing efforts in the U.S., UAE, Hong Kong, and Australia with the help of its new funding. The business also plans to apply for a Singaporean license for Digital Payment Tokens.

With the help of new alliances with GMO VenturePartners and Norinchukin Capital, the business, which has already achieved operational breakeven, plans to expand into markets like Japan.

Tazapay was founded in 2020 and has since gained a reputation as a very reliable and regulated platform for B2B marketplaces, multinational corporations, and fintechs. With backing from Ripple and Circle, the company is expected to play a major role in the integration of traditional banking and blockchain-based payments.

Ripple CTO Proves He’s Biggest XRP Fan

by admin August 26, 2025

David Schwartz has long been known as the brains behind Ripple and XRP Ledger, but this week he decided to wear his loyalty a little more literally. Stopping by a café branded “XRPRESSO,” the Ripple CTO showed up with an XRP belt, an XRP t-shirt, a Gemini-issued XRP rewards card in hand and even a branded mug to match.

The scene looked more like a fan convention than a coffee run, and judging by the reactions online, the community loved every second of it.

You Might Also Like

That display of enthusiasm comes as Gemini’s latest product tied to XRP is gaining traction in its own right. The Gemini credit card, which pays out XRP rewards, has climbed into the top 20 apps in the U.S. App Store, surpassing Coinbase in the rankings.

Gemini currently sits in 16th place, as opposed to Coinbase at 20th, a detail that has not gone unnoticed at a time when exchange competition in the U.S. remains fierce and new user growth is hard to come by.

Major XRP Ledger update by Schwartz on way

The lighthearted café stop also followed a more serious note from Schwartz last week, when he revealed that XRPL’s next upgrade is already being tested in conditions close to production. He hinted that, if the results continue as they have, the new hub could move straight into the live system in the coming days.

While no firm launch date has been announced, the suggestion that the upgrade might roll out without the usual delays has lifted expectations across the XRP community.

Schwartz manages to balance technical leadership with a sense of showmanship, switching from café selfies to detailed system updates in the same breath. It is that dual presence — half engineer, half ambassador — that keeps him firmly at the center of XRP’s culture as well as its codebase.

Latest RLUSD Stablecoin Could Propel Ripple To Limelight Amid Trillion-Dollar Predictions

by admin August 24, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin is a potential game-changer in the rapidly expanding stablecoin market, which is projected to reach trillions of dollars. With SBI Holdings planning to bring RLUSD to Japan, the stablecoin could be integrated alongside XRP, positioning Ripple for a stronger role in global payments.

RLUSD To Propel Ripple Into Global Spotlight

A recent report by tech researcher SMQKE on X social media has reignited attention on Ripple’s strategic moves in Japan. With the introduction of RLUSD in the country, the crypto payments company could steer its growth in the stablecoin market, which is projected to expand from a 300 billion valuation to a trillion in the coming years.

SMQKE stated in his post that Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) service is already operational in Japan, allowing RippleNet customers to leverage XRP for cross-border payments. This development reduces pre-funding requirements and positions XRP as a critical liquidity tool for remittances, particularly in one of the world’s most expensive cross-border payment corridors.

SMQKE further pointed to the alignment between the firm’s ODL infrastructure and the upcoming introduction of RLUSD. With SBI Holdings confirming plans to bring the stablecoin to Japan in early 2026, RLUSD is poised to complement XRP in powering remittance flows and institutional payments. This dual-layered ecosystem, where XRP drives liquidity and RLUSD ensures stability, could strengthen Ripple’s position in a market expected to multiply.

The integration holds particular significance for Japan’s payment ecosystem, where remittance flows from the country to the Philippines, mainly driven by the country’s third-largest foreign worker population, reached nearly $1.8 billion in 2020. Japan also carries some of the world’s highest cross-border payment fees. In line with this, the company’s ODL service, in collaboration with SBI Remit, Coins.ph, and SBI VC Trade, directly addresses these inefficiencies. At the same time, the pending rollout of RLUSD in Japan adds another layer of utility.

Ripple And SBI’s Role In Distributing RLUSD

Ripple has confirmed its recent advancements in Japan in a press release announcing the upcoming launch of the RLUSD stablecoin within the country. The crypto company disclosed that as stablecoins become an integral part of the global financial infrastructure, the next wave of adoption is set to be driven by practical utility and institutional demand.

Ripple and SBI Holdings disclosed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SBI VC Trade, outlining just how RLUSD will be distributed across Japan. The crypto payments company notes that RLUSD has been positioned as an enterprise-grade stablecoin, fully backed by US dollar deposits, short-term government bonds, and cash equivalents, with independent monthly attestations ensuring transparency. This regulatory and compliance-first design distinguishes the asset from other stablecoins in circulation.

Notably, SBI VC Trade CEO Tomohiko Kondo described the upcoming launch as a significant step forward in expanding stablecoin options in Japan and accelerating the convergence of finance and digital technology. He further emphasized that the company will continue working closely with Ripple to build a safe and transparent financial infrastructure.

‘New Dawn’: Ripple CEO Reacts to Fed Governors Embracing Crypto

by admin August 23, 2025

  • Fed governors embracing crypto
  • “New dawn” for Ripple

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has commented on how rapidly attitudes toward crypto have changed over the past year, describing such a drastic shift as “a new dawn.”

Garlinghouse claims that discussions at this year’s SALT 2025 investment conference feel very dramatically different, with regulators and policymakers being more open to the nascent asset class.

While many attendees at SALT have been in crypto for a long time, the change in tone (on-stage, 1-1 convos) from even a year ago is dramatic and very palpable.
I don’t think many of us had “multiple Fed governors publicly embracing crypto technology” on our bingo cards…a new… https://t.co/5dwLNZKdIe

— Brad Garlinghouse (@bgarlinghouse) August 22, 2025

Fed governors embracing crypto

The Ripple boss has noted that even Federal Reserve governors are now embracing crypto, which is a very surprising development for him personally.

Governor Michelle Bowman, for instance, has argued that regulators should abandon their overly cautious mindset toward digital assets.

Instead, they should opt for a proactive approach that would make it possible to foster innovation.

As reported by U.Today, the Fed recently ditched its cryptocurrency-focused supervision program, which is another step toward legitimizing cryptocurrencies.

Governor Christopher Waller also insisted that such innovative technologies as tokenization and smart contracts are not, in fact, scary.

“New dawn” for Ripple

It is also a new dawn for Ripple in particular, considering that the legal battle between the enterprise blockchain company and the SEC is finally over.

As reported by U.Today, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit put a definitive end to the case earlier today.
