Along with a collectible steel case featuring new cover art, the two-disc set also features a long list of bonus materials, including several new cuts of the movie in 4K. The Rocky Horror Picture Show 50th Anniversary Steelbook 4K Blu-ray launches October 7, and preorders are available for $40 at Amazon.

Along with the film and collectible steelbook case, the new 50th Anniversary Edition 4K Blu-ray release includes a long list of bonus materials. While much of the content–such as deleted scenes and alternate takes–is pulled from previous Blu-ray and DVD releases (which are currently out of print), this new version will also include several new commentary and sing-along tracks that are watchable with the new 4K remaster. Here’s the full list of all the special features:

  • Rocky-oke: Sing Along Version (4K)

  • Song Selection menu (4K)
  • Alternate black and white opening
  • Deleted song
  • Alternate scene takes
  • Rocky Horror double feature video show
  • Music video for Time Warp
  • A featurette on the Beacon Theater

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a film adaptation of Richard O’Brien’s 1973 stage musical. It follows a newly engaged couple, Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), whose car breaks down in the remote countryside. The pair end up at a strange party held at a castle owned by the mysterious Dr. Frank-N-Furter–played by Tim Curry in his debut on-screen role. It’s a wild movie that blends comedy, horror, and musical genres into a unique film, earning a cult following when it premiered in 1975 that persists to this day.

Plenty of other 4K Blu-rays are launching in the Fall months, including several new horror releases dropping in time for Halloween. These include some of the year’s biggest horror movies like 28 Years Later, which launches on Blu-ray on September 23 and has a steelbook edition 4K Blu-ray available to preorder for $48.49. Clown in a Cornfield is getting a steelbook release a week earlier on September 16, while other 2025 releases like Sinners and Bring Her Back are available now. You can also grab new steelbook 4K Blu-rays of older slashers like Halloween (2018), The Devil’s Rejects, or I Know What You Did Last Summer. New release date for Fellowship announced

New release date for Fellowship announced

by admin September 11, 2025

Arc Games and Chief Rebel have announced that their upcoming first-of-its-genre Multiplayer Online Dungeon Arena, Fellowship, will be briefly delayed. This extra time is meant to give developers a little more time to polish the game. Players can try the game during the Open Beta on Steam from September 18th to September 23rd. For full details read the information below and check out the developer update video below:

Arc Games and Chief Rebel have made the decision to delay Fellowship’s Steam Early Access launch by just one week after its originally planned release. Fellowship is now set to launch in Early Access on October 16, 2025. A new developer update video from Chief Rebel has been released to share insight on the decision to postpone the launch slightly, the progress the team has made to the first-ever MODA before it enters Open Beta via Steam on September 18, and more.

Watch the Fellowship Early Access Developer Update video here: https://youtu.be/yBlcVdX5siY

The slight delay gives Chief Rebel the opportunity to implement extra polish and ensure the best possible experience for players on day one when Fellowship enters Steam Early Access on October 16. Also, in making this change, Chief Rebel is aware of the highly-anticipated game releases scheduled during the game’s original launch window, which also influenced the decision to move Fellowship’s release by a week. The small shift not only gives Fellowship the opportunity to shine more in the spotlight (and the developers time to play game releases they’re excited about too, of course!), but also gives Chief Rebel the chance to fine-tune details to turn Fellowship into an epic dungeon running experience right at Early Access launch.

The previously planned Open Beta via Steam from September 18 to September 23 has not been impacted. Arc Games and Chief Rebel can’t wait for Steam players from around the world to play Fellowship and share one final round of feedback before the game’s Early Access launch. More details on the Open Beta can be found below.

ABOUT THE UPCOMING OPEN BETA

The upcoming Open Beta for Fellowship via Steam will kick off on Thursday, September 18 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time and end on Tuesday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. For the Open Beta, there will be a North America, Europe and Asia server available. This playtest will give players the chance to experience seven heroes (two Tanks, three DPS – including a recently-revealed DPS, Mara, and two Healers) who will be in Fellowship’s diverse roster of heroes, go on dungeon runs (both Ranked Dungeons and Quick Play Dungeons), take on challenging enemies and acquire epic loot along the way. Compared to the Steam Next Fest demo back in February, in addition to introducing a new DPS hero, Mara, the Open Beta will introduce new gameplay systems, including a fresh take on matchmaking and group finding, and an engaging progression system including Weapons, Gems, Talents, Crafting, Legendary items and more. Additionally, the Open Beta will introduce a new dungeon “Urrak Markets”, new gameplay features like cosmetic customization allowing players to change the look of different pieces of armor, new Gear, new Mounts, new visual element improvements and improvements on previous gameplay mechanics based on Steam Next Fest player feedback. The Open Beta will allow Chief Rebel to test multiplayer matchmaking improvements they’ve made, and give the team the chance to get one final round of player feedback before Fellowship’s Early Access launch.

ABOUT FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship is a multiplayer online dungeon adventure set in an exciting fantasy setting, with endlessly scaling dungeon runs. Players must focus on working together as a team, with an emphasis on skill, cooperation, and strategy to defeat bosses, collect loot, and work together to overcome ever-present challenges. Experience the “Holy Trinity” and build the ultimate team of tanks, healers and damage dealers to take down hordes of enemies and imposing bosses. Work together with your friends to overcome the greatest challenges, creating unbreakable bonds and memorable moments. Players can also flex their individual skills on the competitive leaderboards that show where you stand in Fellowship. Persevere, overcome and ascend through the top ranks in Fellowship!

Game Features:

GATHER YOUR PERFECT TEAM – Play alongside your friends in teams with 4 Player Co-op Multiplayer in a rich, fantasy world full of challenging enemies and exciting rewards. Swap between a large pool of tank, healer and DPS roles with unique kits to build the perfect balance for your team.

ENDLESS SCALING REPLAYABILITY – Every run will feel like a brand-new challenge with dungeons that will get more difficult as players progress and level up. Players will never out level the game with seasonal updates, dungeon modifiers, new features and rewards that will keep each run fresh and exciting, adding another layer of replayability.

UNIQUE AND COMPLEX BOSS MECHANICS – Each boss has unique and varied mechanics, for a fresh experience every run. Enemy skills grow as difficulty increases and additional modifiers continue to challenge players as they grow and improve.

REWARDS, LOOT, AND GEAR GALORE – After each completed dungeon run, players will earn loot to make their characters even more powerful! The tougher the dungeon, the better the rewards.

Players will find that Fellowship’s most unique feature that sets it apart is how it streamlines the dungeon running experience and how players can take part in endlessly scaling dungeon runs. Instead of grinding and spending hours to be able to access and go on endgame-like dungeon runs, with Fellowship, players can dive right into these type of dungeon runs from the beginning. Unlike other titles, including MMOs, there’s no barrier of entry at all – whether it’s time commitment-specific or needing to get through a ton of prerequisite content – for being able to jump into endgame dungeons in Fellowship. Both newcomers and seasoned veterans will discover they can get the dungeon experience they want from the start, as they can choose to play Quick Play that offer more casual 10-15-minute dungeon runs or Ranked that offers a more competitive experience with Curses, Ascensions and difficulty scaling that drastically change the dungeon running experience.

Putting Star Wars in Destiny 2 sounded like a slam dunk, but the morning after Renegade’s release date was announced, players seem unhappier than ever

by admin September 11, 2025

It’s not a good time for Bungie. This year’s Destiny 2 expansion, The Edge of Fate, is widely regarded as one of the worst expansions the game has ever seen – a big feat to achieve when you’re 11 years old. As intriguing as some of the new story developments in the expanding world of Destiny are, little could soften the impact of some atrocious decision-making from the sandbox and gear teams within the studio: the grind in Destiny has rarely been worse, and fans’ patience for the MMOFPS is becoming increasingly thin.

Even the blowout reveal of what should have been a slam dunk for Bungie – a Star Wars collab that was initially announced back in May – has been met with apathy and disinterest. Renegades (to give the event its proper name) will be the first ever crossover-themed campaign in Destiny’s complicated history, and operates in a muddy middle ground between full crossover and vague skin-based collab.

“Renegades merges Destiny’s distinctive storytelling and gameplay with themes and elements drawn from the iconic sci-fi franchise,” Bungie enthuses in its own press release. In the expansion, we “will defy the Vanguard” to pursue Drifter across Sol, navigating a world of shadows and syndicates in the new social hub, Tharsis Outpost, as we work across story missions to build a crew and resist a rising faction tied to the Nine.

Go and see a Star War.Watch on YouTube

As you can see from the video above, Renegades positions an activity called the Lawless Frontier front and center: per Bungie, it’s “a chaotic, cooperative new game mode, where players take on a variety of high-risk jobs and contracts to earn reputation, unlock all-new Renegade abilities that change the tide of battle, and wield weapons that include the iconic Praxic Blade and an energy-based arsenal from the new Blaster archetype.” A new dungeon is also promised to land after the expansion’s launch on 2nd December.

But, frankly, who cares? This should have been a home run for Bungie – a big crossover like this is often catnip for MMO ride-or-dies – but the general consensus amongst the community at the moment is one of exhausted apathy. After the presentation that debuted information on both Renegades and the other incoming expansion, Ash & Iron, the top post on Destiny’s dedicated Subreddit reads: I think tonight this is a breakpoint for many people and Bungie as a whole. Another bemoans “Almost everything in this “Major Update” is reskinned/reissued, except [the paid shop]”, and every single top post in the dedicated megathread about Renegades is critical of Bungie.

Now, I’ve been a member of /r/DestinyTheGame for about 12 years, and even since the early days (alpha and beta for D1!), the sub has had toxicity issues. Go figure. But this is something else: I don’t think I’ve ever seen the community so fed up and bored with basically everything that is suggested.

The problem is three-fold: as well as Bungie losing key staff that have overseen the Destiny vision since inception, the remaining designers have also implemented sandbox aspects players actively hate – namely, The Portal, a high-grind, low-reward anomaly of game design that actively punishes you for wanting choice in the things you do and the gear you equip. Decisions like these seem to manifest because of a studio culture that “stem from a lack of player empathy, disconnected leadership, and a corporate-first culture,” per one recent report.

Diminishing returns. | Image credit: Eurogamer/SteamDB

At this point, it feels like Bungie’s back is against a wall: player numbers are dropping, player satisfaction is low, and even massive crossover events like Star Wars are failing to stem the haemorrhaging. As a big new update lands, concurrent player counts on Steam are even struggling to reach 50k – a historic low for the game. Will this trend reverse by December, when the Star Wars update actually launches? We’ll have to wait and see but right now, it doesn’t seem likely.

If Elden Ring Nightreign wasn't punishing enough for you, FromSoft is adding a high-difficulty mode

FromSoftware unveils Elden Ring Nightreign’s new mode ahead of release tomorrow

by admin September 11, 2025

FromSoftware has unveiled its new Deep of Night mode for Elden Ring Nightreign, ahead of its release tomorrow, 11th September.

As revealed last week, this mode adds extra challenge to the multiplayer spin-off game. The world of Limveld will be full of deadlier enemies and Nightlords won’t be selectable, as in the main game. Instead, players will traverse multiple depths, with escalating difficulty and challenges.

Players will have access to stronger weapons, gained by defeating more powerful variants of enemies and minibosses. However, some of these will have detrimental effects as well as bonuses, so strategy will be required. A new load of relics will also be available, in addition to expanded slots.

Everdark Sovereigns – the more difficult alternative Nightlords – may also appear to ruin your run.

In short, this feels like the sort of mode Nightreign players have been craving! And it’s further evidence of FromSoftware continuing to evolve its formula further post-release, following the addition of a two player mode.

Borderlands 4 global release times and countdown timer

by admin September 10, 2025

Good news for day one vault hunters on PC: Borderlands 4 will get the global release date treatment. That means no watching friends from the future play a game still locked away in your library until midnight local time—when Borderlands 4 launches on Friday, September 12, for New Zealand, it will be live for players worldwide.

That’s September 11 for some of you, with Borderlands 4 launching as early as 9 am PT on Thursday. The global PC launch covers both Steam and Epic Games Store users, and you should be able to pre-load the new looter shooter before launch.

When is the Borderlands 4 unlock time?

Borderlands 4 launches at 9 am PT on September 11. Remember, the Borderlands 4 PC global release means it’s out for everyone at the same time regardless of timezone. Console times are different, so players on PC eager to join friends through cross-platform multiplayer will have to wait for PlayStation and Xbox store updates.

Here are the Borderlands 4 global release times, sorted by timezone:

  • Los Angeles: 9 am PT on Thursday, September 11
  • Chicago: 11 am CT on Thursday, September 11
  • New York: 12 pm ET on Thursday, September 11
  • London: 5 pm BST on Thursday, September 11
  • Berlin: 6 pm CEST on Thursday, September 11
  • Singapore: 12 am SGT on Friday, September 12
  • Tokyo: 1 am JST on Friday, September 12
  • Sydney: 2 am AEST on Friday, September 12
  • Wellington: 4 am NZST on Friday, September 12

What are the Borderlands 4 launch times on consoles?

Users on PlayStation 5 and Xbox unlock Borderlands 4 at 12 am on Friday, September 12, local time. That rule applies everywhere except for folks sharing a timezone with Los Angeles—then Borderlands 4 unlocks on your respective console at 9 pm on Thursday, September 11.

The wait for Borderlands 4 on Switch 2 is even longer with a release date set for Friday, October 3, 2025.

Borderlands 4 global release countdown timer

Is there preloading for Borderlands 4?

As of the time of writing, there is no option to pre-load Borderlands 4 on Steam. We’ve checked on our end (Wednesday, September 10), and still nothing. Maybe that’s unsurprising since the global timing already pushes its release timing earlier than expected for some, but a bummer for anyone with a slower connection trying to hop in ASAP.

Hopefully that changes before launch, but with less than 24 hours until Borderlands 4 is available on PC, it’s looking more like we won’t have the option. If we do, it’ll be a short window.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Destiny 2’s not-quite-Star-Wars expansion Renegades gets a proper look-in and a release date

by admin September 10, 2025

Earlier this year, Bungie revealed a Destiny 2 expansion that I can still only describe now as a head scratcher. It’s called Renegades, a Star Wars inspired expansion (quite literally as it’s been made in collaboration with Lucasfilm) that was shown off properly for the first time in a livestream earlier today. Oh, and there’s a release date for it too!

In terms of the meat and potatoes, actual Destiny portion of it, Renegades introduces the Lawless Frontier, a new co-op game mode that sees you taking on tough missions to build up reputation. Through this you can unlock new Renegade abilities like airstrikes, turrets, a bike. But like, a fancy sci-fi bike. There’s also a new social hub, Tharsis Outpost, which is directly inspired by Mos Eisley Cantina, which you can see pretty easily just by looking at it.

Watch on YouTube

It’s a weird thing to look at. There are some of the hallmarks of a “Star War” like that not-AT-ST-Walker. Some of the guns make that classic pew pew sound effect that’s been etched into the minds of every person that’s ever watched a Star Wars movie. Of course there’s lightsabers too, mixed with Destiny enemies that sort of look like they could be from Star Wars but not so much that they feel horrendously awkward. It’s like Bungie spritzed some perfume and waited too long before they walked into it – the scent is there, but it feels like it was a bit pointless.

I am eternally sceptical of live service games at the best of times, and with this, even as an outsider to Destiny 2, I’m just not sure it’ll do what I presume Bungie hope it will. In any case, Destiny 2: Renegades is out December 2nd, so you’ve not got all that long to find out if it’s any good or not.

Forget Bose and JBL, Anker Soundcore Boom 3i Speaker Drops to Record Low Just Weeks After Release

by admin September 10, 2025

Summer may be nearing it’s end, but that doesn’t mean we need to spend all our time inside just yet. Take your music outside with the Soundcore Boom 3i, currently on sale. This outdoor Bluetooth speaker comes in four stylish color combinations. Choose between blue, brown, green, or black. Right now, the black has the highest discount, coming down to $90. The other three are still on sale, but not with as big of a drop. They’re down from $140 to just $100. But if you want something less traditional, the green is pretty slick. It’s got a neon green casing with blue highlights. Well worth the extra $10 in my opinion.

The Soundcore Boom 3i is for outdoorsy folk who want to bring rich, booming music wherever they go, by land or by sea. You see, tons of outdoor speakers will market themselves as being water resistant which really just means they can handle getting slashed on a bit. That’s not the case here. This is full IP68 dustproof and waterproof. More specifically it’s saltwater resistant. It comes in five times more resistant to saltwater than other speakers from competitors.

See at Amazon

Chuck It In the Ocean

So not only can this thing survive going in the water, it’s designed to be there in the first place. The Soundcore Boom 3i can fully float when placed in water. While it’s there, it still produces loud and rich sound with a powerful bass. When it floats, it’s balanced to stay upright so the sound is always projected above the water where you want to hear it. It’s a wonderful accessory to bring to the beach, to the pool, or out kayaking or paddleboarding.

On the subject of durability, this speaker can handle a littler roughhousing. It’s got a durable casing and has been drop-tested to survive falls of up to one meter.

As an outdoor speaker, this thing is only as good as its battery life (last time I checked, the beach doesn’t have too many outlets). The Soundcore Boom 3i provides up to 16 hours of playback time on a single charge.

Take full control of your Soundcore Boom 3i using the smart companion app on their phone. It can adjust settings such as voice amplifier and more. Push the bass to be super deep with BassUp 2.0. That can bring forward 50W of sound with a deep bass at 56Hz.

Right now, you can get the Soundcore Boom 3i for as low as $90 for a limited time.

Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei: Remake May Be Near Release Date

by admin September 10, 2025

In 2020, a remake of Sega’s Panzer Dragoon was released on modern consoles by Forever Entertainment. Now, a remake of Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei is on the horizon from Forever Entertainment and developers MegaPixel Studio and Storm Trident. It may even be coming sooner than expected.

Gematsu shared the announcement that Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei: Remake will make its public debut September 25-28 at the Rainy Frog booth at the 2025 Tokyo Game Show. The publisher didn’t share a release date, but the game will be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei was originally released in 1996 on Sega Saturn as a prequel to the first game. Players assume control of Jaen Jaqeue Lundi, a young man who defies convention by raising and training a dragon named Lagi. The dragon is the players’ means of transport and their primary weapon in the game, as Lagi and Jaen face an onslaught of deadly enemies while uncovering secrets of lost civilizations.

Like the original, Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei: Remake will be a rail shooter. It will also have some modern touches, including branching routes and an evolution of Lagi’s powers that depends upon players’ performance and play style. Additionally, players can utilize a berserk attack and replay mission variants after the campaign is finished.

Fans who buy Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei: Remake will have the option of choosing between classic and modern controls. The game will also feature modernized graphics as well as a remastered version of the soundtrack included alongside the original score.
