Shiba Inu Volume Suddenly up 26,691% on Kraken, Here’s Likely Reason

by admin October 1, 2025

Shiba Inu has seen a sudden hourly volume surge on Kraken, rising +26,691.75%. According to CoinGlass data, the SHIBUSDT spot trading pair on Kraken saw a 26,691% volume surge in the last hour to come in at $58,690.

While the reason for the spike remains unknown, there are a few likely reasons. A surge in trading volume most often reflects traders’ positioning.

Shiba Inu has seen a price surge in recent hours, posting a large “marubozu candle” at one point on its hourly chart, which took its price from $0.00001186 to $0.00001223.

The Marubozu candlestick pattern represents one that has no shadows, indicating high market pressure. It indicates that the price traded in one strong direction.

A green marubozu candlestick in the case of Shiba Inu suggests strong buying pressure accompanied by a major increase in trading volumes.

In the last 24 hours, Shiba Inu’s total spot trading volume has increased to $206.09 million, according to CoinMarketCap data.

12,733,930,024 SHIB shorts liquidated in positive October start

At press time, SHIB was up 4.9% in the last 24 hours to $0.00001231, marking a positive start to October.

Shiba Inu fell for two straight days at September’s close to hit a low of $0.00001155 on Sept. 30. The first day of October saw a significant SHIB price rise from $0.00001176 to $0.00001236. The price move caught shorts or traders betting on a further SHIB price drop unawares, leading to significant short liquidation.

According to CoinGlass data, 12,733,930,024 SHIB  short positions have been liquidated in the last 24 hours. This accounts for the majority, or $156,500 out of the total liquidation figure of $173,210, in the past day.

Mod maker brings Skibidi Toilet to Borderlands 4 for one simple reason: To spite the narrative director who said he’d ‘cry real tears’ if the game shipped with it

by admin September 25, 2025

One of the best things about PC gaming is mods. They let people do things with their games that developers, for whatever reason, couldn’t, didn’t, and/or really wish you wouldn’t. Sometimes they’re practical things, like the recently-released Dying Light: the Beast mod that reduces annoying zombie grabs—and sometimes, well, they’re not.

A good example of a mod that was not created to solve a practical problem is Epic’s Skibidi Toilet, which creator EpicNNG said was made specifically “to spite Samuel Winkleclank.” That would be Borderlands 4 narrative director Sam Winkler, who apparently brought this upon himself by saying Borderlands 4 would cut back on the “toilet humor” of Borderlands 3.

“If the word ‘skibidi’ ships in the game under my watch I’m gonna cry real tears,” Winkler proclaimed fatefully.

Careful what you wish for, or vocally wish not to happen as the case may be, because yes, it is real.

Winkler, to his credit, seems to be taking it well.

His torment isn’t likely over, though. In the same post in which Winkler said he wouldn’t allow Skibidi Toilet in Borderlands 4, he also wrote, “Paul Tassi joked that we were gonna have a gun called Hawk 2A and a fellow dev asked me if it was real and I wanted to put my hand down the sink grinder.”

Well:

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

For the record, it’s not all disturbing toilets and sex puns: EpicNNG also creates mods that solves practical problems, including one that will remove or reduce VFX in Borderlands 4 to improve accessibility.

Binance’s CZ Reveals Key Reason Why He’s Not Using Telegram

by admin September 22, 2025

Changpeng Zhao, former chief executive officer at cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has revealed that he does not use Telegram.

While Zhao says that he personally has nothing against the popular messaging app, he had to stop using the app after being inundated with a deluge of spam messages (to the point where his phone would start to lag).

The issue is that one cannot restrict messages from random users who know your handle, which was the case for Zhao.

Telegram does not offer an in-built setting that makes it possible to block messages outside one’s contact list. This, of course, leaves public figures of the likes of CZ highly exposed to incessant spamming.

In fact, Zhao claims that he personally complained about this issue to Telegram CEO Pavel Durov.

Paying for DMs?

After an X user suggested that there should be a feature that allows paying for DMs, CZ recalled that he had already tried this with ReachMe, a paid platform that the crypto mogul tested earlier this year.

Zhao initially intended to limit the volume of meaningful messages to roughly 10 per day, but it later turned out that scammers were “very willing” to pay.

Moreover, blockchain security firm SlowMist discovered a vulnerability that allowed users to avoid paying for direct messages.

Rockstar Just Made 65,000 GTA 6 Fans Panic For No Reason

by admin September 20, 2025

In the span of about 20 seconds and with just a single Discord ping, Rockstar Games got 65,000+ people, nearly all of whom are waiting for Grand Theft Auto 6‘s launch, very excited and then crushed their hopes, dreams, and happiness.

On September 19, at precisely 3:20 p.m. EST, Rockstar Games posted a single message in the GTA Online section of the company’s official Discord server. The message was simply Rockstar Games acknowledging a bug involving a GTA Online weekly challenge that was supposed to unlock a piece of in-game clothing for those who completed it, but wasn’t working properly. Pretty basic GTA Online update. But for some reason, Rockstar Games followed that message up with an “@here.” They did this in a server with 68,097 members. Uh oh!

©Kotaku / Rockstar Games

For those who don’t use Discord, dropping “@here” pings everyone in the server channel unless they specifically opt out of notifications. And most people don’t do that, especially not in Rockstar’s Discord server, where desperate fans cling to the hope that at any time, the studio could drop a new trailer for GTA 6.  Rockstar Games has also not really done this before. So that random “@here” instantly caused around 68,000 fans to freak the fuck out. Making matters worse is that for many, myself included, the notification simply appeared as “Rockstar Games – @here” with no further context.

I’ll fully admit that when I first saw it, I assumed the company was making some big random announcement about GTA 6. Instead, what I found when I opened Discord was a lot of confused, sad, and angry fans who weren’t sure why Rockstar had done this to them all. “Why!” “Whattt?” “Shut up!” “WTF?!” “No GTA 6??” “Stop it!” and “HOLY SHIT WHY” were just some of the hundreds and hundreds of messages that whizzed by my eyes when I opened Discord shortly after the ping.

I’ve reached out to Rockstar Games about the Discord ping and why it decided to do this. But whatever the reason, it won’t change the fact that for a brief and chaotic moment, 65,000+ people went wild thinking they were about to watch a new GTA 6 trailer or get news of another delay. Nope. There’s no new trailer or other big announcement, and GTA 6 is still set to launch in May of next year.

$40M in Crypto Seized With No Charges, Reason Will Surprise You

by admin September 20, 2025

  • $40 million seized from TradeOgre exchange while charges “may follow”: What we know so far
  • Authorities keep cracking down on privacy coins

Royal Canadian Mounted Police seized cryptocurrency funds of TradeOgre, a niche cryptocurrency exchange operating since 2018. Since there are no filed criminal charges, this might be the first case for Canada’s law enforcers to shut down the crypto service.

$40 million seized from TradeOgre exchange while charges “may follow”: What we know so far

Last week, over 56 million Canadian dollars (CAD), or about $40 million, were seized by Royal Canadian Mounted Police from TradeOgre, an exchange known among privacy coin traders. As per the press release, law enforcers also “dismantled” the crypto exchange for the first time in Canada’s history.

At the same time, the funds were transferred to RCMP crypto wallets with no arrest warrant or court order. As explained by the police, investigators have reason to believe that the majority of funds transacted on TradeOgre came from criminal sources.

Formally, the exchange was shut down with $40 million in BTC and ETH seized for two reasons. First, TradeOgre operated in Canada without being registered with Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as a money service business.

Also, the exchange did not require its customers to submit “know-your-customer” documents, making anonymous crypto transfers possible.

The main attraction of this type of platform, which doesn’t require users to identify themselves to make an account, is that it hides the source of funds. This is a common tactic used by criminal organizations that launder money

Thus, this might be one of the first cases of a crypto service being shut down for not implementing KYC checks.

The investigation against the exchange was started in June 2024 after RCMP received a notice from the anti-money-laundering unit of Europol.

Authorities keep cracking down on privacy coins

The law enforcers are analyzing the data seized from TradeOgre and “charges may follow soon,” the statement goes.

For thousands of traders, TradeOgre remained the place to buy and sell privacy-focused coins, largely Monero (XMR).

As covered by U.Today previously, privacy coins are under fire, especially when offered on centralized exchanges. The architecture of these cryptocurrencies prevents them from being tracked by third parties — nobody can check the recipient, volume and other details of transactions with privacy coins.

Monero (XMR), the biggest privacy asset, has been delisted from all major exchanges operating in the European Union.

The Biggest Reason To Buy The Xbox Ally Handheld Just Leaked

by admin September 18, 2025

Windows may prove a perfectly suitable platform for gaming on a traditional PC, but on handheld devices like the ROG Ally, Legion Go, or even the Steam Deck, it’s another story. Microsoft’s operating system is often too clunky and frustrating when you’re restricted to a gamepad for input. The upcoming Xbox-branded Ally from Asus, however, has promised a solution with a dedicated, controller-friendly user interface for running PC games on the go. These devices have yet to hit shelves, but a downloadable preview of a new version of Windows 11 is giving folks access to the new interface on just about any Windows handheld device.

Read More: Steam Ate Microsoft’s Lunch On PC, It’s About To Do The Same On Handhelds

As noted by The Verge, The upcoming 25H2 update for Windows 11 lets you launch the new gaming-focused, fullscreen Xbox app for Windows with just a few tweaks to the registry and the help of a third-party tool (a Reddit post by user Gogsi123 outlines the whole process). Unlike the overlay that software companies like Asus provide for their Windows handhelds, this new Xbox app skips the entire Windows desktop environment in favor of a fullscreen, controller-friendly experience. And people are finding, by way of the preview workaround, that it seems to lead to marginal performance gains as well.

Read More: The Xbox Ally PC Gaming Handheld Feels Great, But At What Price?

While this version of the fullscreen Xbox app requires some legwork to get working, its availability across Windows handhelds undercuts one of the main appeals of the upcoming ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X–which is distinctly different from Asus’ ROG Ally X–which is expected to arrive on October 16, 2025.

The ROG Xbox Ally X is less than a month away, and we’re still not sure of pricing

Though the best graphical experiences are still had on well-kitted PCs and cutting-edge consoles, we are in the midst of a handheld arms race kicked off by Valve three years ago when it launched the Steam Deck. Since then, other PC manufacturers have jumped in with Windows-based options. More recently, the power of the Switch 2 has made it something of a competitor in this space as well.

It’s all the stranger, then, that we’re not actually sure exactly how much Microsoft and Asus’ collaboration is going to cost. According to a report from former IGN writer Destin Legarie, a local Best Buy indicated that a $549 version and an $899 one would be available when he called to ask about it. If this is accurate, that puts the lower-tier version of the Xbox Ally at the same price as the smaller-capacity Steam Deck OLED, and within competitive pricing range of the current ROG Ally and Ally X, which retail for about $649 and $899, respectively.

Having enjoyed my time with the ROG Ally X, I can definitely attest to the value of having more games available on a handheld that’s running Windows instead of Valve’s Linux-based SteamOS, though I typically prefer the form factor and controller-focused interface of the Steam Deck. Now, if a few tweaks to the Windows registry can also give people that experience on a non-Xbox Ally X, I imagine it’ll be harder to find a use case for the Xbox Ally for those who already own a handheld gaming device and aren’t afraid to tinker with their machines.

Banks reveals the real reason behind why he left FaZe Clan

by admin September 17, 2025

FaZe co-founder Ricky Banks has revealed the reason behind his exit from the esports and entertainment group in July 2025 after former member Temperrr was ousted amid drama.

In spring 2024, Banks ‘rebooted’ FaZe’s roster of content creators, bringing on a group of fresh faces that included top Twitch streamers like JasonTheWeen, PlaqueBoy Max and FaZe Lacy.

The restructuring was a massive success for FaZe, with the group going viral online and taking over Twitch’s ‘Just Chatting’ category thanks to their action-packed subathon that year.

However, in late July, Banks — who had been with the group since it was founded in 2010 — announced that he was stepping away from the company, and the internet, permanently.

YouTube: All Grown UpBanks is no longer a part of FaZe Clan, clarifying that he officially left the group sometime in August.

“For the time being, I’m gonna be stepping away from not only FaZe, but all this internet sh*t. It’s destroying my life inside and out. …I wish I could say I’ll be back, but I really don’t know if I will,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

His exit followed an explosive scandal within his community, some of whom accused him of ‘scamming’ fans with an MLG crypto token. Banks denied ever ‘scamming’ anyone, but has remained relatively quiet on social media in the months afterward.

Banks is ‘passing the torch’ to new FaZe members

Finally, on September 17, 2025, Banks opened up about the reason behind his departure in response to a fan asking why he was no longer part of the group.

In his reply, Banks clarified that he officially left the company one month ago, saying he has “no business being front facing anything related to FaZe in 2025.”

“My goal was to breathe new life into FaZe and pass the baton to a new group of friends who do content together. FaZe was dead and I simply couldn’t live with that. Mission accomplished, these new guys got it,” he continued.

He went on to say that his personal brand and lifestyle no longer aligns with FaZe’s current image, with the streamer citing his gambling hobby and interest in crypto.

Article continues after ad

“I’m not interested in pretending I’m someone else or dragging these new guys into my own interests/drama. Like I said before I’ll always be here to help and will always be FaZe’s biggest fan. It’s all love, it’s always been love.”

X: Banks

Banks’ statement follows an explosive fallout within FaZe’s ranks after FaZe Rain accused Temperrr of inappropriate actions with an underaged person.

Rain has since apologized and “retracted” the label he put on Temperrr, who was booted from the company as a result of the scandal. However, things are still tense between the two, with Temperrr saying Rain “ruined his life,” and Rain continuing to clap back on social media.

Key Reason Why 90,000 ETH Offloaded by Whales in Past 48 Hours Shared by Analyst

by admin September 17, 2025

  • 90,000 ETH sold within 48 hours, here’s key reason
  • Tom Lee predicts Ethereum to $5,500 by mid-October

Crypto trader and analyst Ali Martinez, known on the X social media platform as @ali_charts, has reported that over the past two days, large cryptocurrency whales have offloaded a massive amount of Ethereum valued at nearly half a billion dollars.

The analyst also revealed the key reason that likely pushed the whales to that step.

90,000 ETH sold within 48 hours, here’s key reason

Martinez shared a chart provided by the on-chain data company Santiment, which shows that the rapid decline in whale holdings aligns with a 6.53% price drop in Ethereum over the past few days. Back then, the second-largest cryptocurrency went down from a local peak of $4,757, landing at the $4,510 level. It seems that whales decided to lock in their profits, seeing the price go down. Those were wallets holding between 10,000 and 1,000 ETH.

By now, Ethereum has rebounded by 1.42% and is changing hands at $4,510 after reaching $4,548 earlier today.

Tom Lee predicts Ethereum to $5,500 by mid-October

Earlier this week, Fundstrat’s Tom Lee spoke to CNBC, sharing that he expects Bitcoin and Ethereum to skyrocket within the next three months, as they can make “a monster move.”

The main trigger for that, according to Lee, is the interest rate reduction to be announced by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell today. The very smallest price jump for Ethereum he expects to see is $5,500 by the middle of October.

Analyst Warns That XRP Investors Are Still Not Bullish Enough, Here’s The Reason

by admin September 15, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Well-known market watcher Egrag Crypto is sounding the alarm that XRP investors are still not bullish enough. In his view, too many holders are ignoring what the charts are showing, even though long-term signals suggest a decisive move could be on the horizon. He says that the real profits in this market will come from patience and belief rather than quick trades.

The analyst argues that those who remain strong will be in the best position when the asset takes off. Writing on X, he urged the XRP community to adopt a bigger vision of what may lie ahead.

Historical Patterns Point To A Potentially “Historic” XRP Move

Egrag Crypto explains that the XRP two-month chart is flashing a rare setup. He notes that five strong body candles have formed at new all-time highs, something he calls unprecedented in structure. According to him, the parabolic curve building on the chart suggests that what lies ahead for the digital asset could be “truly historic.”

Source: X

He argues that if XRP falls below $2.00, it could mirror Bitcoin’s era when it traded at $200, a price that later made those early buyers legendary in the crypto world. For him, those who buy the token at the $2 level will also be seen as “OGs” in the future.

While many in the community focus on short-term moves, the analyst’s strategy is to buy low and sell high over time. He says it is fine for investors to trade a small portion of their holdings, maybe 10% to 20%, but most of the stack should be kept by investors for the long run.

Egrag recalls the years when XRP traded below $1, and he kept urging people to buy, even when he got mocked for it. Looking back, he says conviction during those times is what makes real winners.

Technical Signals Suggest XRP Must Clear $3.70 To Trigger Rally

Looking at the charts now, Egrag points to one key price target. He says XRP needs to close above $3.70 with a strong two-month candle to confirm what he calls a “space mission moment.” According to him, this breakout would open the way for much bigger moves. While he supports cautious short-term trading, his main advice is to stay focused on the larger trend and be prepared for the next leg higher.

At the same time, Egrag warns that trading is not easy. He says the market is a competition where only the strongest and most determined survive. For him, the right mindset is just as crucial as the charts. He closes his message with encouragement, saying that the rise may come soon, and those XRP investors who hold firm may reap the rewards.

Netflix has just dropped a shocking new movie you need to stream after Unknown Number for one simple reason

by admin September 9, 2025

Let’s face it: Unknown Number might just be one of the most memorable Netflix documentaries of all time. When Lauryn and her boyfriend Oliver started getting texts from anonymous numbers that quickly became explicitly threatening, they’d never expected the culprit to be Lauryn’s mom, Kendra. My jaw is still on the floor after the perfectly executed twist two-thirds of the way through the new movie.

Frankly, I’ve been looking for the same documentary-binging high ever since. I didn’t expect to get it so soon, but out of everything new on Netflix in September 2025, another new movie released today (September 8) just might do the trick. In fact, I was already seated purely after reading the synopsis.

Behold: Stolen: Heist of the Century. If you think we’re getting the same whodunnit in the form of Unknown Number’s reveal, you’d be mistaken – if anything, Netflix is now subverting the surprise of its mystery by not only withholding who did it, but how the heist was even pulled off in the first place.

Stolen: Heist of the Century is our next big Netflix documentary movie after Unknown Number

Stolen: Heist of the Century | Official Trailer | Netflix – YouTube

Watch On

Let’s set the scene: it’s 2003 in Antwerp, Belgium. The target is the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, housing in the city’s so-called Diamond District with tons of well… you get the idea. Between February 15-16, 2003 a gang of thieves stole loose diamonds, gold, silver and other types of jewelry valued at more than $100 million, with the heist still considered one of “the greatest of the century” to this day.

In true Mission: Impossible style, here’s what our robbers had to get through. The vault that stored the precious gemstones and metals was located two floors below the main floor of the building, protected by multiple security mechanisms. These included a lock with 100 million possible combinations, infrared heat detectors, a seismic sensor, Doppler radar, and a magnetic field. The building itself had a private security force, with the district already heavily guarded and monitored.

Piece of cake, right? Well, although arrests were made in connection with the case, the stolen diamonds themselves have still never been recovered to this day. As Stolen: Heist of the Century explains, head gang honcho Leonardo Notarbartolo was arrested the Friday following the heist, because nearby garbage had connected him to the scene thanks to DNA found on a salami sandwich.

I’m not going to tell you exactly how our gang pulled off the heist – that’s literally the whole fun in watching the documentary – but what the team manages to do is nothing short of mind-blowing. It’s equally incredible that such a genius team could be so equally idiotic by leaving behind incriminating evidence.

Sign up for breaking news, reviews, opinion, top tech deals, and more.

Even so, Stolen: Heist of the Century is easily up there as one of the best Netflix documentaries for me, and I’ve seen just about everything in its back catalog.
