Lego Brick-Built Star Wars Logo Gets First Price Cut Before Prime Big Deal Days

by admin October 3, 2025

A large selection of Star Wars Lego sets are on sale ahead of next week’s Prime Big Deal Days sale. Amazon’s deals include a bunch of new Star Wars building sets released over the past few months. Arguably the most notable recent model on sale is the Brick-Built Star Wars Logo. The 700-piece replica display model was already a budget-friendly option at its $60 MSRP, but now it’s on sale for only $50. The Brick-Built Logo is one of several Star Wars Day 2025 Lego sets up for grabs for below MSRP.

$50 (was $60)

The Brick-Built Star Wars Logo accurately depicts the legendary design that dates back to Star Wars: A New Hope’s 1977 theatrical release. Exposed studs between the letters add depth and make it clear that this is a Lego set. The rounded edges of the logo are cleverly recreated with a variety of yellow pieces. There’s an Easter Egg hidden inside the letter T that pays homage to Episode IV.

The completed 700-piece model measures 5 x 11.5 x 1 inches. If you’re looking for a Star Wars model to serve as a centerpiece for your display shelf, it probably doesn’t get any more ideal than the series logo constructed from Lego.

The Brick-Built Star Wars Logo launched a few months after the 913-piece Lego Marvel Logo set. That one has yet to be discounted from its $100 price, and it comes with five Marvel minifigures that pop out by pressing buttons on the model.

Amazon & Walmart Deals: New Lego Star Wars Sets

Lego Star Wars: Rebel U-Wing Starfighter | Jango Fett’s Starship

Other Star Wars Day 2025 sets with discounts include the Rebel U-Wing Starfighter and Jango Fett’s Starship for $60 (was $70) each. Jango Fett’s Helmet, another Star Wars Day release, is $65 (was $70). Two Walmart-exclusive Star Wars Day sets, Kylo Ren’s Helmet and his Command Shuttle, are available in a bundle together for $98 (was $140). Walmart also has the Darth Maul Mech bundled with the Sith Infiltrator for $62 (was $88). The Darth Maul Mech launched in June. Both of those are makeshift bundles, but Walmart also has an official Lego Star Wars 3-in-1 Gift Set Bundle for $45.

Amazon also has a few sets that launched over the summer for below MSRP. The Battle Droid with STAP 1,088-piece model is $130 (was $140). Meanwhile, The Clone Wars V-19 Torrent Starfighter, which launched in August, is down to $52 (was $65). And if you haven’t picked up your 2025 holiday calendar, the new Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar is on sale for $38 (was $45).

Lego is retiring a bunch of Star Wars Lego sets soon, including ultra-popular display models like Darth Vader’s Helmet. Check out our roundup collecting all of the deals on Lego Star Wars sets that won’t be around for much longer.

This early Prime Day deal has MSI’s gorgeous 34-inch curved ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor dropping to $649 at Amazon

by admin October 3, 2025

If you want to view the output from your PC and its accompanying graphics card in fine detail, then you need to splash out on a quality monitor. Depending on your priority, whether it’s working on photo imagery or video, or for pure gaming, you go for the specs that suit your use case the best. In some of these early Amazon Prime Big Deals Day deals, there are some great discounts on popular monitor brands. Today, we have a deal on one of MSI’s fantastic QD-OLED gaming monitors, which will make your games pop, with inky blacks and eye-popping colors.

The MSI MAG 341CQP gaming monitor is on sale for $649 at Amazon, one of its lowest prices in recent history. With its large 34-inch ultrawide display and impressive specifications, this is a luxury gaming monitor for serious gamers who want to experience the best visuals on a QD-OLED panel. This monitor deal is also available directly from MSI, should they sell out quickly on Amazon.

The MAG 341CQP spans 34 inches diagonally and features a QD-OLED panel with an 1800R curvature to wrap around the periphery of your vision. It has an original list price of $899.99, but prices have fluctuated between an all-time low of $575.99 in November 2024, to $780 in May of this year (according to CamelCamelCamel). Currently, it’s discounted to a much more palatable price in this deal.

The MSI MAG 341CQP’s display features support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, handy for reducing screen tearing and frame refresh rate issues. The large 34-inch screen has a 21:9 aspect ratio and sharp 3440×1440 (UWQHD) pixel resolution. The refresh rate can go up to 175Hz. A QD-OLED panel means not only excellent contrast, but also super-low response times of around 0.03ms.

It also supports DisplayHDR True Black 400 and has a good selection of ports for video input. You can take advantage of two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4a port. It also works as a USB hub, with a built-in KVM. Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-B port, and a Type-C port with 15W charging. A 3.5mm audio jack is also included.

The monitor comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty from MSI, including coverage for OLED burn-in.

Prime Big Deal Days Kindle Sale: Save Up To $230 On The Kindle Scribe

by admin October 3, 2025

A bunch of Amazon devices are already discounted to official Prime Big Deal Days 2025 prices, including Amazon’s priciest ereader in the ubiquitous Kindle lineup. The Kindle Scribe with Amazon’s Premium Pen is on sale for $100 off for a limited time. You can save even more by opting for the Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle, which includes the Premium Pen, Fabric Folio case, and power adapter. The 16GB Essentials Bundle is on sale for $315 (was $480). Alternatively, you can get the Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle with a Leather Folio case for $337 (was $500).

The standalone edition and the Leather Folio Essentials Bundles are eligible for Amazon’s awesome trade-in deal that saves you an additional 20% plus the value of the device you trade. With the 20% bonus discount from the trade-in, you will save at least $230 on the Essentials Bundle with Leather Folio. The bundle deals are exclusive to Prime members, but all shoppers can save $100 on the standalone Kindle Scribe and take advantage of the trade-in deal.

The 2024 edition of the Kindle Scribe won’t be the priciest model in the lineup for long. Earlier this week, Amazon revealed the next iteration for the hybrid ereader and note-taking device. Most notably, the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft will be the first in the series with color e-ink and retails for $630. The regular Kindle Scribe 2025 edition will start at $500 for a 32GB model with a front light. Both models are scheduled to launch before the end of the year. A Kindle Scribe without a front light will release early next year for $430.

Amazon says the new Kindle Scribe is thinner and faster than existing models. The 2025 editions also have 11-inch screens, making them slightly larger than the 10.2-inch models sold now. If you don’t want to spend $500 on a Kindle but are interested in the Scribe, the 2024 edition is a great device that happens to be $200 cheaper than the upcoming version.

$315 (was $480)

The Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle comes with Amazon’s Premium Pen ($80 value), the official Fabric Folio Cover ($60 value) or Leather Folio ($80 value), and a 9W power adapter for Amazon devices ($20 value). You can choose between Black, Denim, and Rose colors for the cover, while the tablet itself is Tungsten. The cover protects the screen and includes a built-in stand with multiple viewing angles.

All three storage configurations are eligible for the Prime Day deal: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Each tier is separated by only $10-$20, so if you plan on using your Kindle Scribe to store and listen to audiobooks via Audible, you may want to opt for 32GB or 64GB model.

  • Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle (Fabric Folio)
  • Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle (Leather Folio)
    • 16GB — $337 ($500) | $269.60 with trade-in
    • 32GB — $347 ($520) | $277.60 with trade-in
    • 64GB — $372 ($550) | $297.60 with trade-in

The Kindle Scribe has a 10.2-inch front-lit display with anti-glare coating, so you can read in any lighting setting. With 300ppi (pixels per inch) and 94 nits of brightness, text is crisp and clear.

The Scribe doubles as a physical notebook. With the Premium Pen, you can create handwritten notes and email them to other devices. It feels remarkably similar to writing on actual paper. You can also take notes in books and documents you’re reading. If you like writing in the margins of novels, the Scribe is the ereader for you.

Interestingly, the bundles with plant-based leather folio are eligible for Amazon’s trade-in promotion, which we’ve detailed below.

$300 (was $400) | Additional 20% off with eligible trade-in

The standalone Kindle Scribe is also eligible for an additional 20% discount when you trade in a device. Your old Kindle is the obvious choice, but Amazon also accepts other devices, including Fire tablets, Fire TV Sticks, and even some Apple products.

With a trade-in, you’ll get the value of that device and an additional 20% discount on your new purchase. That’s a substantial savings. Trade-in values vary considerably, but the extra 20% is automatically worth $60-$68 for the standalone edition. The new prices below don’t factor in the value of your trade-in, which will be subtracted from the $240, $252, or $272 prices.

If you take advantage of the Kindle Scribe deal and have never tried Kindle Unlimited, you can get your first three months for free, which grants access to a library of over 4 million books, comics, graphic novels, manga, and more.

Some Kindle Unlimited titles also include audiobook versions that can be listened to on your Kindle. But for even more audiobooks, you’ll want to check out Audible Premium Plus, especially since the $15/month subscription program is free for your first three months, too. With Audible Premium Plus, you’ll be able to claim and keep one audiobook of your choosing. New releases and even preorders are eligible, so Prime members shouldn’t miss out on this offer.

Amazon is already offering steep discounts on Kindle ebooks ahead of the July 8-11 sales event, so you can pair your new ereader with some cheap books.

And if you plan on listening to audiobooks on the Kindle Scribe, Amazon’s Echo Buds with active noise cancellation are on sale for only $45, down from $140. These Bluetooth earbuds can sync wirelessly with Kindle ereaders as well as other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Super Mario Galaxy Collection Buying Guide – Get Overnight Delivery With Amazon Prime

by admin October 2, 2025

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. If you didn’t preorder the $70 collection and want a physical edition, Amazon is offering free same- or next-day shipping for Prime members. The physical edition is also available with fast shipping from Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and GameStop. Each game is also sold separately for $40 on the eShop, so you’re saving $10 by opting for the bundle.

The impressive remasters run in 4K resolution on Nintendo Switch 2, so the first Mario Galaxy is markedly better than the version in Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Plus, both of these Wii-era hits hold up extremely well. If you love 3D platformers, both Mario Galaxy games are must-play adventures that are in top form on Nintendo’s new hardware.

While you’re picking up the Super Mario Galaxy game collection, don’t forget about the upcoming physical edition of Rosalina’s Storybook (November 25) and the new Mario and Luma Amiibo and Rosalina and Lumas Amiibo (April 2, 2026).

$70 | Available Now

The Switch 2 upgrade is available to anyone who purchases physical or digital editions of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2.

In docked mode, the games run in 1080p on Switch and 4K on Switch 2. Each game supports conventional button/stick controls as well as motion controls for those who want to stick with the original experience from the Wii games. Like several other modern Mario games, Assist Mode has been added to make these platformers more approachable for newcomers and youngsters.

$25 | Releases November 25

Mario Galaxy fans can preorder the physical edition of Rosalina’s Storybook at Amazon, Walmart, Bookshop.org, Books-A-Million, and Barnes & Noble. The hardcover book releases November 25. Note: Amazon’s listing has been jumping between in stock and sold out pretty much since preorders opened.

Nintendo partnered with Dark Horse to release the in-game book Rosalina reads from in hardcover. The 112-page book includes full-color illustrations and every chapter from the original Wii game.

Heads up: The in-game book in Super Mario Galaxy has a new chapter in the remastered collection, but that chapter isn’t found in the hardcover edition.

Prime Day deals include the Amazon Echo Spot for only $50

by admin October 2, 2025

Amazon may have announced new Echo Show devices recently, but it didn’t touch the humble Echo Spot. The smart alarm clock remains the smallest Echo device with a display, but it’s one that’s really best just for showing the time, weather and other quick bits of information. You can grab one now for only $50 thanks to Prime Day deals; that’s 38 percent off its usual price.

The latest incarnation of the diminutive Spot was introduced in July 2024, and while it’s not quite available for its record low price of $45 right now, $50 is pretty close. For that you get a comfortably bedside-sized device with a sharper display than its predecessor, as well as superior sound. The front face is divided into two halves, with a speaker positioned below the hemispherical display.

Amazon

$50 is close to a record low for the latest Echo Spot.

$50 at Amazon

What screen you do have is more than enough to display the time and weather information, plus it can show you the song or album title and accompanying artwork when you’re listening to music on those improved speakers. It can naturally be used to boss around your other connected smart devices, too.

Alexa might be baked in, but the Echo Spot is intended to be a fairly bare-bones smart alarm clock, so don’t expect as many features as you’ll find on something like the Echo Show 5. But a lot of people just want a modern alarm clock, and arguably the biggest selling point for the Echo Spot is its total lack of a camera. While that means it can do less than the original 2017 Echo Spot, which Amazon did put a camera in, the decision to remove it from a device that lives right next to your bed was probably for the best.

Amazon’s Prime Day sale returns on October 7, so you can expect a range of deals on its various Echo devices. For our guide to all of the best early deals, head here.

Amazon Echo Show 8 Slashed to Year’s Lowest Price, Even Lower With Extra Trade-In Savings Ahead of Prime Big Deal Days

by admin October 2, 2025

We’re inching closer to the second Prime Day of the year, and it’s a great time to invest in smart home devices. Amazon has started the celebration early, and we’ve just spotted the newest Amazon Echo Show 8 going for $100 on it.

It’s a straightforward $50 discount – no coupon codes required. Even better, if you already own an Echo device, you can trade it in for an extra 20% off on top of the discount. The offer is available on both black and white color options, but it ends soon, so you might want to act fast to grab it.

See at Amazon

Improved Screen, Better Sound

Echo Shows have always been more than just great displays. This one packs a stunning 8-inch HD touchscreen that pushes vibrant, true-to-life visuals. The screen is paired with room-filling spatial audio, so there’s no need for external speakers to enjoy great sound, whether you’re watching a video or just vibing to your favorite song. There’s support for Netflix, Prime Video, Fire TV Channels, and more, so entertainment options are also plenty.

The solid 13 MP front camera with auto-framing keeps you centered during video calls, while built-in noise reduction makes sure you’re heard clearly on the other end. Of course, smart home compatibility is top-notch. Those with devices that support Zigbee, Matter, or Thread can pair and control them directly using just their voice. Need to dim the lights, but five steps to the switch feel like two miles? Just ask Echo Show to handle it. Doorbell just rang, and you want to see who’s there without getting up? Say the word.

And when not in use, Echo Show 8 smartly doubles as a digital picture frame, so you can keep your favorite moments close! You also have the option to invite your family and friends to share photos on the device – a great way to stay connected.

Setting up the whole thing and getting started is fairly simple. It sits well pretty much anywhere, but if you want better angles or prefer it at eye level, you might want to invest in a dedicated stand (sold separately). All in all, the Echo Show 8 brings a lot of convenience to your day-to-day tasks, especially if you’re looking to manage all your smart home devices in one place. This version brings better video and sound quality, and can now be yours for just $100. Be sure to grab it before it’s too late.

Twin Peaks: From Z To A Complete Series Collection Discounted For Prime Big Deal Days

Twin Peaks: From Z To A Complete Series Collection Discounted For Prime Big Deal Days

by admin October 2, 2025

Twin Peaks is one of the most memorable TV series of all time. Created by the late David Lynch, who died earlier this year, Twin Peaks was a hit in both the early ’90s and in 2017 when Showtime revived the groundbreaking series for a third season.

As mentioned, From Z to A is a one-stop shop. You’ll get all 30 episodes of the original two-season run, the aforementioned 1992 prequel film, and the 2017 revival that ran on Showtime for 18 episodes. That’s 48 episodes of superb TV and an awesome feature film in one package.

  • Season 1 (1990) — 8 Episodes
  • Season 2 (1990-91) — 22 Episodes
  • Season 3 (2017) — 18 Episodes
  • Fire Walk with Me (1992) – Prequel movie

You’ll also get a long list of special features, including 4K versions of the original series Pilot episode and Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series Episode 8. Here’s a look at the highlights:

Twin Peaks: From Z to A Special Features

  • The Missing Pieces: Fire Walk with Me deleted/alternate scenes (90 minutes)
  • Behind The Curtain: Making of Footage From Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series
  • Full-length versions of all Roadhouse Bar music performances
  • A Talk with Kyle MacLachlan and Sheryl Lee
  • On the Couch with Kimmy and Harry
  • 4K versions of the Original Series Pilot and Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series Episode 8
  • Additional special features from previous Twin Peaks home releases

In total, that’s over 20 hours of additional Twin Peaks content. It’s worth noting that the packaging for this Twin Peaks: From Z to A reprinting differs from the original 2019 version. The new edition uses a plastic case rather than the premium fold-out box of the original, and it lacks the collectible art prints. This cost-saving measure probably makes producing the sets easier, which hopefully means this reprint run will remain in print longer. It’s no longer a collector’s item like the original release, but it does offer an affordable way to watch the entire series on Blu-ray.

Two Amazon Prime Air drones crashed in Arizona

by admin October 1, 2025

Two Amazon delivery drones reportedly collided with a crane this morning in Tolleson, AZ. The incident occurred about two miles from a fulfillment center run by the tech company and involved two of its Prime Air drones. No injuries have been reported. Law enforcement were called to the scene, however Sgt. Erik Mendez of the Tolleson police told local radio station KTAR that the Federal Aviation Administration would be taking over the investigation.

“We’re aware of an incident involving two Prime Air drones in Tolleson, Arizona,” Amazon representative Terrence Clark said. “We’re currently working with the relevant authorities to investigate.”

Amazon began offering a drone delivery option in the Phoenix area last year. The drones only fly during the day and if weather conditions are favorable. The company received FAA approval to ship several more products by drone in May.

Early Prime Day Deals: $100 Off 2 Best-Selling Espresso Makers

by admin October 1, 2025

Hi. it turns out Prime Day is only really a suggestion on the calendar. A lot of brands like to kick out early Prime Day deals before getting lost in the big din of Prime Big Deal Days on October 7-8. (See here for early Prime Day deals on laptops, earbuds, and more.)

The two most popular espresso machines on Earth—as judged by Amazon sales, anyway–are both on sale for $100 off this week, ahead of Amazon Prime Day’s October reprise. These are a couple of the best early Prime Day Deals.

$100 off Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Before Prime Day

Ninja

Luxe Cafe Premier Series Espresso Machine

The most exciting deal of the pair is probably the Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier ($500), on sale for the lowest price we’ve ever seen it.

When Ninja announced it was jumping into the semiautomatic espresso market, I didn’t know quite what to make of it. But Ninja seems to have applied its general flair for multipurpose machines to this beautifully beginner-friendly espresso machine with a 25-setting conical burr grinder, a built-in scale (thank you), and options for cold brew and drip coffee.

WIRED contributing reviewer Tyler Shane was likewise skeptical of Ninja’s first espresso device when it arrived but ended up loving the excellent milk steaming and the fact that this Ninja grinds espresso shots by weight. (Why doesn’t everybody?) She also appreciated the reasonable price—a price that’s even more reasonable ahead of Prime Day.

$100 off Breville Barista Express

Courtesy of Breville

Breville’s Barista Express ($600) semiautomatic espresso machine has been Amazon’s best-selling espresso machine for years—so long it’s hard to remember a time when it wasn’t the top-selling pick.

Why’s it so popular? It’s a Goldilocks thing—a mix of accessible price, Breville’s excellent reputation for customer service on high-ticket items, and beautiful ease of use on a semiautomatic machine with a built-in grinder that makes full-flavored, well-extracted espresso. This $100 discount isn’t quite the lowest price we’ve seen on it—it’s been down to $550 before—but it’s a very good price.

And besides, this Breville has the merit of being a tried-and-true machine. WIRED reviewer Julian Chokkattu has been pulling shots from his Barista Express for six years now, and it’s still going strong. No wonder the Express has been among WIRED’s top espresso machine picks for ages.

Amazon Luna is absorbing Prime Gaming and getting controller-free games in the process

by admin October 1, 2025

After a few years of mostly humming along in the background, Amazon’s game streaming service is receiving a bit of an update. Amazon Luna will still act as a game streaming service with a rotating library of free games for Prime users, but now, Amazon also plans to offer “GameNight,” a collection of social party games that you can play with your friends with just a smartphone. The expansion is about more than just new games: Amazon’s Prime Gaming brand is now also part of Luna.

Amazon says the new GameNight collection includes over 25 multiplayer games, some that are reinterpretations of classic games like Angry Birds, Exploding Kittens or Ticket to Ride, and others that are entirely original and developed by Amazon, like Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg. If you’ve played any of Jackbox’s various multiplayer games, GameNight seems to use a similar setup. You load up the game in Luna, whoever’s playing scans an onscreen QR code with their phone and then they can join the game using their device as a controller.

The hope is that these smartphone-controlled games will lower the barrier to entry for anyone intimidated by a controller, or who hasn’t already taken advantage of Luna as part of their Prime subscription. For everyone else, though, Amazon says the service is getting a collection of new high-profile games in the near future, including Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Dave the Diver. As before, if you’re willing to pay for one of Amazon’s add-on subscriptions you can add even more games to your library, too. Unlike GameNight games, though, all of these titles will require a controller to play, whether it’s Amazon’s Luna Controller or a Bluetooth controller connected to the Luna app.

As far as Prime Gaming is concerned, Amazon’s not retiring the benefits of the plan, but rather using them to bolster Luna. Prime Gaming launched as Twitch Prime, a program that unlocked unique emotes, one free Twitch sub and free PC games every month if you linked your Twitch and Amazon accounts. Those benefits will still be available after Prime Gaming is retired, and Twitch says that any free PC games you redeem will be available “wherever Amazon Prime is available as part of Luna Standard.” That includes regions where you can’t stream Luna yet.

While confusing, adding more games and folding Prime Gaming into Luna suggests that Amazon views the service as the gaming project it’s prioritizing moving forward. It doesn’t have the library of Xbox Cloud Gaming and it’s not clear if Amazon is as gun-ho about streaming as Microsoft is, but if the company is willing to pay, offering more games and more ways to play them seems like a good move.

Update, October 1 2025, 6:07PM ET: The story and its headline have been updated to include details about Amazon’s changes to Prime Gaming.
