Back To The Future Trilogy 4K Steelbook Preorders Restocked At Amazon

by admin September 28, 2025

Back to the Future’s upcoming 40th Anniversary Steelbook Edition 4K Blu-rays are back in stock and discounted at Amazon. Fans of the classic film trilogy can preorder Back to the Future’s Steelbook Edition for $30; Back to the Future II is up for grabs for $28, and Back to the Future III is only $25. The 40th Anniversary Trilogy Box Set is available to preorder for $45. Unfortunately, Amazon’s exclusive Limited Edition Gift Set remains sold out, and it’s unclear if it will be restocked again. All Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Edition products launch October 14.

Quick look: Back to the Future: 40th Anniversary Trilogy Lineup

$30 (was $35) | Releases October 14

Back to the Future’s new Steelbook Edition is a three-disc set with 4K Blu-ray, 1080p, and digital versions of the movie. The third disc is strictly for the extensive collection of bonus features.

The front cover shows Marty McFly staring at his watch (yet again) and the DeLorean Time Machine is seen speeding toward the iconic Back to the Future logo. All three cases remix the original movie posters with memorable snapshots from the movies. The interior artwork recreates one of the letters Marty writes to Doc Brown in Lou’s Cafe as well as the newspaper clipping about saving the clock tower and other notes and documents from the movie.

Here’s the list of brand-new special features that are exclusive to the new Back to the Future Steelbook Edition and 40th Anniversary Trilogy box sets.

Back to the Future: New 40th Anniversary Special Features

  • 40 Years Later: Reflecting on Back to the Future
  • Back to Hill Valley
  • Untold Stories of Back to the Future
  • TCM Classic Film Festival Panel
  • A Mystery in History

Co-writer and producer Bob Gale reflects on the cultural impact of the films in one of the new documentaries. There’s a tour of the location that was used to create the town of Hill Valley in the movies, crew members share untold stories of the production, and there’s even a featurette about tracking down one of the iconic props from the first movie. All of the bonus content from previous 4K and 1080p releases is included, too. We’ve included that list with the 40th Anniversary Trilogy collection.

$28 (was $30) | Releases October 14

Back to the Future II is generally considered the weakest entry in the series, with most fans favoring either the first or third movie. It also happens to have the smallest list of bonus features. Unlike the other two movies in the trilogy, Back to the Future II doesn’t need an extra disc just for special features. It still comes with 4K, 1080p, and digital versions of the film, and the case art is awesome.

Back to the Future 2: Special Features

  • Audio Commentary with Bob Gale and Neil Canton
  • Q&A Commentary: Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale
  • Tales from the Future: Time Flies
  • The Physics of Back to the Future
  • The Making of Back to the Future Part II

$25 (was $30) | Releases October 14

Like the first movie, Back to the Future 3 comes with 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and digital editions of the movie as well as an extra Blu-ray dedicated to an extensive list of bonus features. You’ll notice near the bottom of the list that you get two episodes of Back to the Future: The Animated Series. If you want to watch every episode, you can grab the four-disc DVD box set for only $10.88 (was $17).

Back to the Future 3: Special Features:

  • Audio Commentary with Bob Gale and Neil Canton

  • Could You Survive the Movies? Back to the Future
  • Doc Brown Saves the World
  • OUTATIME: Restoring the DeLorean
  • Looking Back to the Future
  • 2 Episodes from Back to the Future: The Animated Series

$45 (was $56) | Releases October 14

With Amazon’s discount, the 40th Anniversary Trilogy is only five bucks more than the existing Ultimate Trilogy.

If you haven’t watched the trilogy on 4K, you’re in for a treat. All three movies support Dolby Vision and even HDR10+, which isn’t all too common. With Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1 surround sound, Huey Lewis and the News really shine when they perform their signature track, The Power of Love.

All told, the 40th Anniversary Trilogy is an eight-disc collection with over nine hours of bonus content. All of the special features listed under each Steelbook Edition are included. As mentioned, the 1985 original has plenty of other extras beyond the five new featurettes and panels. Here’s the rest of the list:

Back to the Future (1985) Additional Bonus Features:

The car has working gull-wing doors, a lightning rod ready to receive 1.21 gigawatts of power–but please don’t stand outside in a storm with it–a detailed interior, a flux capacitor light brick, and an optional Mr. Fusion energy reactor. If you want to recreate the DeLorean from Back to the Future 2, you can fold up the wheels, or apply several other extra parts to replicate its look from Back to the Future 3. It also comes with two minifigures of Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 PS5 Preorders Are Live

by admin September 27, 2025

We’ve seen numerous first-party Xbox games make the jump to PS5 in recent months, and one of the next titles to appear on Sony’s platform is a big one: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The latest entry in the long-running flight sim series will land on PS5 on December 8. The game will be available physically and digitally for $70, and preorders are now live. Securing an early copy will unlock an extra aircraft, the Northrop T-38A Talon, to pilot in-game.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2025 (PS5) Preorder Bonus

As mentioned above, preordering any version of Microsoft Flight Simulator on PS5 will unlock the Northrop T-38A Talon as an extra in-game aircraft, letting player fly the supersonic jet immediately once they start the game.

$70 | Releases December 8

For the PS5 release, players can expect the same accurately rendered world, flight paths, and aircraft as the PC and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. Developer Asobo Studio has added several significant post-launch updates, and the PS5 version will feature up to 125 highly detailed aircraft. Not only can you fly business jets and ultralight airplanes, but Flight Simulator 2024 also includes airships, hot air balloons, rotorcraft, and fight jets.

There’ll also be several PlayStation-exclusive features for this version of Flight Simulator 2024, designed specifically for the DualSense controller. Adaptive triggers will respond to different speeds and surface types on the ground to add a sense of immersion, air traffic control communications will be played through the controller speaker, and there’ll be more features that will utilize the DualSense lightbar, gyro controls, and touchpad. PS VR2 owners will be able to experience the entire game through their headset when a free update for Flight Simulator 2024 arrives in 2026.

$63 (was $130) | Now available

If you’re on Xbox and you haven’t tried it out yet, you can get a good deal on the Premium Deluxe Edition of Flight Simulator 2024. This is for a digital code, but it does unlock the full game, 25 additional aircraft and 10 extra international airports. Normally, you’d pay $130 for this edition, but it is on sale for $63 currently through a limited-time Amazon and Walmart deal.

While Flight Simulator 2024 is perfectly playable with a traditional controller on console, you just can’t beat a proper flight stick for making you feel like you’re really sitting inside of a cockpit. There’s no shortage of these, and while the best models do cost quite a bit, there are affordable alternatives to choose from. The official Flight Simulator 2024 flight stick from Thrustmaster is rock-solid, and attractively priced at $107.

It’s compatible with Xbox Series X|S and PC, and its design offers 10-bit precision with five axes–including Z axis–14 programmable buttons, a rapid-response trigger, and a multidirectional hat switch. All of that hardware is housed in a crisp white shell with Flight Simulator 2024 branding on it, and you can separate the joystick from the throttle.

$150 (was $180)

If you’re looking for realistic yoke controls instead, Logitech does offer a peripheral designed to emulate that piloting setup on PC. Inside the box you’ll find the flight yoke with a long USB connector cable, the flight throttle quadrant, and desk clamps. This controller has a stainless steel yoke shaft designed to provide accurate and smooth control, and for inputs, it’s loaded with a POV hat switch, 14 buttons, and a three-position mode switch for added customization.

This can also be integrated into Logitech’s other flight sim devices thanks to its modular design, so if you want to build a realistic cockpit, the company does offer switches, flight instruments, and radio panels alongside flight rudder pedals.

As noted above, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is one of several Microsoft-published games launching physically on PS5. Some, like with Gears of War: Reloaded, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Doom: The Dark Ages, are already available, while others are launching soon, such as Ninja Gaiden 4 on October 21 and The Outer Worlds 2 on October 29. Forza Horizon 6 was also confirmed to be in development for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5, with a 2026 release window.

Xbox ROG Ally Prices Revealed, Pre-Orders Now Live

by admin September 27, 2025

Microsoft and Asus have revealed the price points for their two models of the handheld PC, the Xbox ROG Ally. And, unsurprisingly, they’re not cheap.

The Xbox ROG Ally was revealed in June during the Xbox Game Showcase and is an Xbox-branded model of Asus’ Steam Deck competitor, the ROG Ally. The device’s primary selling point is its ability to run Xbox games and apps natively, including those from Game Pass, allowing players to access their Xbox software library on the go. Powered by Windows 11, the Xbox ROG Ally can also run other platforms such as Steam, Battle.net, and GOG.

Launching on October 16, pre-orders are now live in 38 countries for the two models: The ROG Ally and the more powerful ROG Ally X. Here’s what they cost:

Xbox ROG Ally X (1TB): $999.99

Xbox ROG Ally (512GB): $599.99

These premium prices were to be expected (especially since the standard ROG Allies are generally quite expensive), but the sticker price may sting from potential Xbox converts still reeling from Microsoft’s recent announcement of a second price increase to its Xbox Series consoles starting next week. Xbox and Asus likely knew it would have to bite the bullet as well, as they seemingly withheld revealing the price for as long as possible while eying the economy to determine the appropriate pricing. It will be interesting to see how many players will be willing to shell out that kind of money for an ROG Ally, given the rising prices of video game hardware across the board going into the holiday season.

If you’re looking to buy an Xbox ROG Ally but can’t decide between the two models, you can read more about the specs of each version here. Do you plan on buying an Xbox ROG Ally? Let us know in the comments.

This in-game item unlocks original music from the original Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines soundtrack composed Rik Schaffer. It’s not much, but it’s a fun extra for long-time fans of the series.

$60 | Releases October 21

The Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 standard edition is the only physical edition of the game available. It includes the base game, plus the Bloodlines Nostalgia Jukebox if you preorder before October 21. You can preorder physical PS5 and Xbox Series X copies for $60 at Walmart and Best Buy. Digital preorders are also available on consoles and PC.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Deluxe Edition

$70 | Releases October 21

While the standard edition is the only physical version of the game, there are also multiple digital editions available that add additional in-game content. The first is the $70 Deluxe Edition, which has the base game and the Santa Monica Memoris DLC pack. The pack contains extra decoration items you can add to your in-game home, including:

  • Ankaran Sarcophagus

  • Stop Sign

You’ll get to join one of several clans in the region, before diving into a sprawling open world that gives you countless ways to forge your own story. Combat relies on both physical prowess and deadly vampiric powers–though finesse and talking your way through encounters is also a possibility in some scenarios.

If you’re itching to dive back into the Vampire: The Masquerade universe, you have plenty of time to play through the most recent release in the series, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. The narrative RPG is quite different from the upcoming Bloodlines 2, but it offers a unique storyline in the gothic horror world, and is available for cheap on most platforms.

$55 | Releases December 2

Though it won’t arrive until December, this hardcover book looks like it’ll be an excellent companion to the long-awaited video game. At over 200 pages, it provides a look at the game’s development, artwork, and overarching vision for its sprawling narrative. It’s a massive book (literally), and with dimensions of 12 inches by 9 inches, it could make a cool centerpiece for your game room or bookcase.

Published by Dark Horse Books, The Art of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is all but guaranteed to be high quality. So beyond developer commentary, concept art, and all sorts of Bloodlines 2 goodies, you’re getting a premium book that should be every bit as luxurious as its $55 suggests. Preordering at Amazon means you won’t be charged until the item ships, and you’ll be eligible for any discounts that may occur ahead of its release.

ROG Xbox Ally Prices Revealed, Preorders Are Live At Amazon

by admin September 26, 2025

Asus has revealed the launch prices of the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X in the US. The ROG Xbox Ally is $600, while the more powerful Xbox Ally X clocks in at $1,000. The first Xbox-branded gaming handhelds launch October 16, and preorders are starting to go live at major retailers. The ROG Xbox Ally is up for preorder at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. The Xbox Ally X is only listed at Best Buy and the Microsoft Store (for now). An official carrying case is up for preorder for $70 at Amazon.

The $600/$1,000 price points are higher than some expected, though not all that surprising. After Best Buy quickly removed $550/$850 prices from the Xbox Ally store pages, it seemed likely that the prices of both devices would be at least a bit higher. As with many new tech products this year, Asus and Microsoft waited longer than usual to announce price points and preorder details. The ongoing tariff situation in the US has led to price increases for PlayStation, Nintendo, and Xbox hardware in 2025. Just last week, Microsoft announced price increases for the Xbox Series X|S in the US; the new prices take effect October 3.

Check out the specifications of each ROG Xbox Ally handheld below.

$1,000 | Releases October 16

The ROG Xbox Ally X, the more powerful of the two devices, has an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor (Zen 5), 24GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The Z2 Extreme is 8-core, 16-thread CPU; the GPU has 16 cores and is built on RDNA 3.5 architecture.

The grips are inspired Xbox Wireless Controller, and it has all of the inputs found on an Xbox controller as well as a pair of remappable back buttons.

Other small differences found on the X version: The UHS-II microSD card reader also reads UHS-I cards–the base model only reads UHS-I. One of the USB Type-C ports is USB4, while the other is USB 3.2 Type-C. On the base model, both Type- ports are USB 3.2. Xbox’s Impulse Triggers are found on the Ally X, while the base model has Hall Effect triggers.

Specs:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme
  • RAM: 24GB LPDDR5X-8000
  • Storage: 1TB M.2 2280 SSD
  • Display:
    • 7″ FHD IPS (Gorilla Glass Victus)
    • 120Hz refresh rate
    • AMD FreeSync Premium
  • Controller Design:
    • Contoured grips
    • Impulse Triggers
    • Shoulder bumpers
    • ABXY bumpers
    • 2 remappable back buttons
    • Analog sticks with light rings
    • 6-Axis motion controls
    • HD haptics
    • 5 menu/settings buttons

  • microSD: UHS-II reader (also reads UHS-I)
  • Network: Wi-Fi 6E / Bluetooth 5.4
  • Battery: 80Wh
  • Weight: 715g
  • Dimensions: 290.8 x 121.5 x 50.7mm

$600 | Releases October 16

The ROG Xbox Ally has an AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor (Zen 4), 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The Z2 A has half the number of CPU cores (4) and threads (8) as the Z2 Extreme. The number of GPU cores is also cut in half (8), and the GPU is built on RDNA 2 architecture. Overall, the ROG Xbox Ally looks to be comparable to the Steam Deck OLED in terms of specs.

Both models have 7-inch FHD IPS displays made of Gorilla Glass with 120Hz refresh rates and FreeSync.

Specs:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen Z2 A
  • RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X-6400
  • Storage: 512GB M.2 2280 SSD
  • Display:
    • 7″ FHD IPS (Gorilla Glass Victus)
    • 120Hz refresh rate
    • AMD FreeSync Premium
  • Controller Design:

    • 2x USB 3.2 Type-C
    • 3.5mm audio
  • microSD: UHS-II reader (only UHS-II)
  • Network: Wi-Fi 6E / Bluetooth 5.4
  • Battery: 80Wh
  • Weight: 670g
  • Dimensions: 290.8 x 121.5 x 50.7mm

Comparisons to the Xbox Series X|S are natural due to the branding, but it’s worth emphasizing that these devices aren’t really Xbox handhelds. The ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X are Windows PCs running custom UI that will remind players of the Xbox. At the end of the day, though, the ROG Xbox Ally is playing Windows versions of games. As such, the prices are more aligned with other Windows handhelds like the regular Asus-branded ROG Ally handhelds, Lenovo Legion Go, and MSI Claw. But that also means you aren’t restricted to the Xbox Store; you can launch Steam, GOG Galaxy, the Epic Games Store, and any other PC game client supported by Windows.

ROG Xbox Ally Accessories

Asus 2-in-1 Hard Case | Asus 100W Charger Dock

Official Accessories:

We also know the prices of two official ROG Xbox Ally accessories from Asus: A $70 hardshell carrying case with a built-in stand and accessories pouch, and a 100W Charger Dock. This is an AC adapter with a built-in HDMI 2.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports for accessories. It can be used to connect the ROG Xbox Ally to a monitor or TV.

by admin September 23, 2025

A new unit is joining the Warmachine roster, Kaptain Kazimir Morozov joins Old Umbrey on October 16th:

The forests of Umbrey stir, and with them rises a new warlock. Today, Steamforged Games is opening pre-orders for Kapitan Kazimir Morozov, a warlock who carries both a patriot’s heart and the fury of the Devourer Wurm.

Once a soldier and farmer, Morozov has given himself to the primal power that runs through the land. On the battlefield, he can transform into a hulking, bear-like beast, wielding twin mauls that crash through steel and bone. To face him is to face the raw ferocity of Old Umbrey itself.

For Khador Old Umbrey players, Morozov brings a savage new way to lead your army. His feat, Awaken the Beast, unleashes his full transformation and calls shapeshifters to his side. In that moment, the line between man and monster vanishes, and his forces surge forward as a tide of claws, mauls, and primal fury that few enemies can withstand.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Limited Edition Steelbook Preorders Are Live

by admin September 23, 2025

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is now available to watch from your couch by purchasing the digital edition from Prime Video or another streaming service. But if you’re willing to wait a few more weeks, the physical editions offer much better value than the $30 digital edition. Walmart has opened preorders for five different editions of First Steps on 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD, including a handsome Limited Edition Steelbook for $45. The Steelbook Edition and the regular $30 4K Blu-ray edition come with 1080p Blu-ray and digital editions. And if you don’t need 4K resolution, the standard Blu-ray edition is up for grabs for as low as $25–though there is a Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray with pop-up art for $30.

The physical editions of The Fantastic Four: First Steps release October 14. We’ll update this story with Amazon preorder links once they are available.

$45 | Releases October 14

The steelbook case gels with the retro-futuristic trappings of the film with colorful character art against a muted backdrop. It almost looks like an advertisement for a classic sitcom. The front of the case features Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), and H.E.R.B.I.E. (voiced by Matthew Wood). The back of the case includes headshots of the team in their normal human forms with Galactus (Ralph Ineson) looming overhead and Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) flying on her cosmic surfboard.

The Limited Edition Steelbook comes with 4K and 1080p Blu-ray discs as well as a voucher to claim the digital edition from Movies Anywhere. The 4K disc supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. Audio formats for all 4K and Blu-ray editions include DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound and Dolby Digital 2.0. Subtitles are available in English, Spanish, and French.

All 4K and 1080p Blu-ray editions include several featurettes, a director audio commentary, and several other pieces of bonus content.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps Special Features

  • Meet the First Family with director Matt Shakman and the cast
  • Fantastic Futurism: Discussion on retro-futuristic aesthetic
  • From Beyond and From Below: Discussion on adapting the comic books.

As usual for Marvel movies, Walmart has an exclusive 1080p Blu-ray edition of First Steps with pop-up art. The slipcover unfolds to create a 3D display of the superhero team in the FantastiCar.

The Pop-Up Edition costs five bucks more than the standard edition Blu-ray, and both versions come with a digital version of the film, too.

If you want to create a sprawling display of Marvel pop-up art, Walmart still has Pop-Up Editions of several other recent Marvel movies, including Deadpool and Wolverine, Thunderbolts, and Captain America: Brave New World.

Lenovo cancels Legion Go 2 pre-orders on its own website after demand “substantially exceeded projections”

by admin September 21, 2025

Lenovo has confirmed that whilst Legion Go 2 units are now making their way to “major retailers globally”, some pre-orders placed on Lenovo’s very own website will “need” to be cancelled.

The company did not confirm how many pre-orders have been affected, but said it was “truly sorry for the inconvenience it has caused”.

“[W]e will need to cancel some pre-orders placed directly on Lenovo.com,” the company said in a post on Reddit. “We don’t believe in holding onto customer payments for products we can’t ship in a timely manner. As soon as our online inventory is replenished, Lenovo.com will show updated availability and ordering will reopen.

“We know this is frustrating, and we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience it caused, especially for our most passionate fans. The Legion Go Gen 2 was built with you in mind, and this experience has been an important lesson for us. We’ll use this to improve and ensure a better process moving forward.”

Lenovo states pre-orders “substantially exceeded our projections, leading to unforeseen delivery range extensions”. It says it’s “working diligently with our teams worldwide to fill these orders as quickly as possible. We truly appreciate the overwhelming support of Legion fans, and ask for your patience while we work to get the Legion Go Gen 2 into your waiting hands”.

Dozens of unhappy customers have responded to the statement, some asking why Lenovo is prioritising customers who placed orders with third-party retailers rather than those who pre-ordered directly with the tech company, and questioning why there’s been no compensation for players who paid thousands of dollars months ago, only to find their orders now cancelled. Others say that if their order is not fulfilled, they “won’t buy [from Lenovo] at all”.

“You can’t just state some orders will be cancelled and ride back off into the sunset, state which ones and why! If it’s to do with discount codes say so,” commented one unhappy pre-orderer. “There’s NO reason to cancel someone’s order who is willing to wait other than you don’t like the price they paid for it. ‘We don’t believe in holding onto customer payments’ is a very weak excuse.

“If mine is cancelled, it will be the last straw and I won’t buy it at all, a competitor benefits instead. I won’t wait around constantly checking for a window of opportunity to order again.”

At the time of writing, it’s unclear how long the delay will be for those prepared to wait but Lenovo admitted it had “messed up this time but we promise we’ll move forward with a lot more caution and care because that’s what you, our awesome community, deserves”.

Lenovo’s second-generation handheld gaming PC Legion Go 2 was announced back in January. Alongside its built-in kickstand and ergonomically improved detachable controllers, it sports an 8.8-inch OLED display with VRR support, and comes equipped with either the upcoming AMD Ryzen Z2 or Ryzen Z2 Extreme. You can also boost the spec up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of SSD storage.

Lenovo abruptly cancels some Legion Go 2 preorders due to overwhelming demand

by admin September 21, 2025

From a disastrous AMA on Monday to disappointing Legion Go 2 preorder customers on Friday, the Lenovo team is having a hell of a week. To kick things off, the Lenovo Legion team hosted an AMA on Reddit revolving around its gaming handheld launch. The Legion Go 2 generated a ton of hype, being Lenovo’s next-gen gaming handheld with more powerful specs and a higher price tag, but the team only answered 10 questions before abandoning the thread. On Wednesday, Lenovo apologized for not being prepared enough to answer all the questions, but followed it up with a bombshell in an edit posted on Friday, adding that “we will need to cancel some preorders placed directly on Lenovo.com” for the Legion Go 2.

According to the Lenovo team, the demand “substantially exceeded our projections” and led to “unforeseen delivery range extensions.” While the orders with Lenovo’s retail partners, like Best Buy, aren’t affected, anyone who preordered the Legion Go 2 directly on the Lenovo website may see some frustrating news in their inboxes. The cancellations might not be a total shocker, since some user reports are circulating that Lenovo already pushed initial ship dates from September to October with “zero communication about the delay.”

To try to save face, Lenovo explained that “as soon as our inventory is replenished, Lenovo.com will show updated availability and ordering will reopen.” There’s no indication yet if those with canceled orders will get priority with the next batch of available devices, but the Lenovo team said it would respond to the AMA thread’s questions over the rest of the month. However, if Reddit comments are any indication, there’s a good chance a lot of customers won’t reorder following this catastrophic launch.

Corpse Bride Limited Edition Steelbook Preorders Discounted, Releases This Week

by admin September 21, 2025

Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride launches on 4K Blu-ray for the first time on September 23. The cult-classic stop-motion animated movie is celebrating its 20th anniversary with two different editions, including a Limited Edition Steelbook with a collectible steelbook case and decorative sleeve. Burton fans can preorder Corpse Bride’s Limited Edition Steelbook for $30 (was $35) at Amazon and Walmart. The standard 4K Blu-ray edition is up for grabs for only $23.79 at Amazon and Walmart.

This has been a popular Steelbook Edition–it sold out for the first time in July before the official artwork was even revealed–and has been listed for as high as $45.49 at both retailers. If you already preordered from Amazon or Walmart, your order total will be adjusted to reflect the lowest price offered before launch ($30). Burton fans can also preorder the new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Limited Edition Steelbook for $30 (was $35). The Beetlejuice sequel’s collectible edition releases the same day as Corpse Bride.

$30 (was $45.49) | Releases September 23

Corpse Bride’s Limited Edition Steelbook continues a trend we’ve seen more of recently by including a transparent sleeve with artwork that changes the look of the display case. With the sleeve on, as shown above, Emily Merrimack’s eyes are closed, and she’s surrounded by butterflies. When you remove the sleeve, the Corpse Bride’s eyes open and the butterflies disappear, leaving the night sky background clear besides the full moon.

The back of the steelbook features Victor Van Dort, the man who unwittingly marries Emily (according to her, at least). More undead characters are featured on the interior covers, including General Wellington and Bonejangles.

Corpse Bride’s standard 4K Blu-ray mirrors the Steelbook Edition in terms of on-disc content and technical specs. Both editions come with one 4K Blu-ray disc and a voucher for the digital edition via Movies Anywhere.

The 4K restoration includes HDR10 and supports Dolby Atmos surround sound. Along with the film, fans can watch a bunch of bonus content, including retrospectives, featurettes, interviews, and more. Special features are on the disc regardless of which edition you choose, but they aren’t rendered in 4K.

Corpse Bride Special Features

  • Digging Up the Past: The Minds Behind Corpse Bride
  • ‘Til Death Do Us Art: A Corpse Bride Reflection
  • The Animators: The Breath of Life
  • Danny Elfman Interprets the Two Worlds
  • Inside the Two Worlds of the Corpse Bride
  • Voices from the Underworld
  • The Corpse Bride Pre-Production Galleries
  • Tim Burton: Dark vs. Light
  • Making Puppets Tick
  • The Voices Behind the Voice

Corpse Bride Limited Edition Steelbook

Corpse Bride is the dark tale of Victor Van Dort (Johnny Depp), a young bachelor roped into a wedding of convenience to his bride-to-be, Victoria Everglot (Emily Watson). After a series of incidents result in Victor accidentally marrying a deceased woman named Emily (Helena Bonham Carter), he must find a way to escape the Land of the Dead, help Emily move on.

While Burton’s work spans multiple genres and decades, each film carries his signature style and visual atmosphere, and if you’re looking to check out more of his catalog, many of his films are available on Blu-ray at Amazon. Burton made his directorial debut with Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, and he followed up it with several other cult-classic movies throughout the 1980s and 1990s, such as A Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and Mars Attacks. He also directed two of the best Batman films ever, in 1989’s Batman and its sequel, Batman Returns. Both films are available in a four-film 4K Blu-ray collection alongside Batman Forever and Batman & Robin for only $33 (was $90) at Amazon.

As mentioned, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Burton’s latest film, is getting a Limited Edition Steelbook on September 23, too. It’s worth noting Walmart still has a few copies of the film’s original Steelbook Edition for $20.
