HALF-TIME ACROSS THE BOARD

(Image credit: Getty Images- Matt McNulty)

Bournemouth 1-0 Wolves: The home side dominated the early parts of the game, grabbing the lead through Tavernier early on. Wolves managed to regain a bit of grip in midfield after about 30 minutes and created a few chances from wide. Both teams go in knowing the game is still up for grabs.

Brentford 1-0 Aston Villa: Perhaps against most people’s predictions for this one, it’s the home side who go in on top at half time. Debutant Ouattara scored for the Bee’s as they also had a late goal in the half ruled out for a foul in the build up. Unai Emery will have to rally his team up at half time if he wants to leave with some points.

Burnley 0-0 Sunderland: It’s stalemate at Turf Moor going into half-time. The hosts had a goal ruled out after VAR review in the 18th minute but the game has been very close in the first half, both teams having three shots each as they share possession 49% to 51%. All is still to play for.

All three games have witnessed an enforced change as Sunderland’s Daniel Ballard came off for Jenson Seelt, Aston Villa’s Boubacar Kamara came off for Emi Buendia and Wolves’ Ki-Jana Hoever came off for debutant Jackson Tchatchoua.

Expect a big second half across all three games as they’re all still wide open and don’t forget that if you’re travelling away from home you can use a VPN to access your usual coverage.

2025-08-23T14:37:44.897Z

Yet another enforced change 34′

This time it’s Wolves who are forced to make a change as Tchatchoua comes on for his debut to replace the injured Hoever who landed awkwardly.

Ukraine fans can watch on Setanta Sports for just $2.63.

Yellow card for Sunderland’s Adringra 19′

A unnecessary card to receive really. Adingra goes into the book after slapping Mejbri in the face.

2025-08-23T14:21:42.461Z

Another early substitution 16′

There’s another early substitution in this afternoon’s fixtures but this time it’s Aston Villa who are forced to make a change. Kamara comes off for Villa for Buendia who will presumably play in attacking midfield with Tielemens dropping into the midfield pivot.

2025-08-23T14:19:58.671Z

BRENTFORD TAKE THE LEAD! 12′

(Image credit: Getty Images- Charlotte Wilson/ Offside)

Ouattara scores on his debut! A long ball from the goalkeeper is flicked on towards the striker who pokes the ball beyond both Villa centre halves and slides the ball past Martinez. 1-0 Brentford.

An early substitution for Sunderland 9′

Canadian fans can watch on Fubo who are showing the game live on their platform.

Match Preview: Burnley vs Sunderland

(Image credit: Getty Images- Lewis Storey)

Two of the newly promoted teams face off early on in the 2025-26 Premier League campaign in what’s set to be a thriller.

Scott Parker’s Burnley host The Black Cats at Turf Moor after The Clarets were thumped 3-0 by Tottenham in gameweek 1, although the game was closer than the score suggests. Last year in the Championship, Burnley held an impressive defensive record, only conceding 18 goals in 48 matches. However, a crucial piece in that puzzle was goalkeeper James Trafford who departed for his boyhood club Manchester City this summer.

On the bright side, Burnley are unbeaten in their three Premier League home games against Sunderland, most recently a 4-1 victory in December 2018.

Regis Le Bris’ Sunderland enjoyed a marvellous return to the Premier League, beating West Ham 3-0 with goals from Mayenda, Ballard and Isidor. The Black Cats will be looking to pounce at the chance to extend their winning form against a dejected Burnley team.

After a summer spending spree, new boys Sunderland racked up a transfer bill of over £132 million and will be confident that their new new look side has the tools to dismantle Burnley.

In Ukraine, Setanta Sports are showing the games for JUST $2.63.

Match Preview: Brentford vs Aston Villa

(Image credit: Getty Images- Harry Murphy)

The Bee’s started their 2025-26 EPL campaign with a disappointing 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest, with a consolation goal from striker Igor Thiago from the penalty spot. The departure of key players such as Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard as well as manager Thomas Frank has proven to be difficult to deal with for Brentford. With ace, Yoane Wissa, also looking likely to depart for greener pastures, Brentford look on course for a difficult season under rookie manager Keith Andrews.

However, Andrew’s men will be looking for a positive result in front of their home fans for the first time this season, looking to overcome their six game winless streak against Villa in the League.

Unai Emery’s men come into this game after a stalemate vs Newcastle in their league opener. The lack of shots the Villans produced against Newcastle could be cause for concern for Emery but they have won in their last two visits to the Gtech and have scored in all eight of their Premier League meetings.

The big news is that goalkeeper Emi Martinez returns to the starting XI for Villa. However they are without Ezri Konsa as he’s suspended following a red card against Newcastle. Emery will have to adjust his defensive set up going into this battle, with both Mings and Torres looking to start at CB as they look to add to their impressive against a struggling Brentford.

Match Preview: Bournemouth vs Wolves

(Image credit: Getty Images- Michael Steele)

Andori Iraola’s Bournemouth welcome Vitor Pereria’s Wolves to the Vitality stadium for this Premier League clash. Bournemouth showed a good account of themselves against Premier League champions, Liverpool, in gameweek 1 of the 2025-26 EPL season, losing 4-2 in an end-to-end thriller.

Riddled with summer departures, with key players such as Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi leaving for Real Madrid and PSG respectively and Milos Kerkez joining Liverpool, it’s more or less a new look back line for the Cherries as they’ll look to get their first three points of the season.

However, Bournemouth have managed to keep hold of star player, Antoine Semenyo, who dazzled against Liverpool. Bournemouth fans will be hoping the Ghanaian can lead them to victory against Wolves, who they have beaten three times in their last five Premier League meetings.

A similar summer of goodbyes took place in Wolverhampton as well, as Vitor Pereira lost talisman Matheus Cunha to Manchester United and left back Rayan Ait-Nouri to their Manchester rivals, the Citizens.

Wolves’ start to the 2025-26 Premier League campaign was one to forget as Ait-Nouri came back to haunt his former club as Manchester City shipped four passed Wolves with no reply. Pereira will be looking for a big response from his team as they look to bounce back from a harrowing opening day defeat. Wolves are unbeaten in five games at the Vitality stadium which should put them in good stead going into this game but their defensive fragilities shown in gameweek 1 may come to blossom once again if they can’t handle the pace of Bournemouth’s front line.

The opening weekend of the new English Premier League season concludes with a blockbuster showdown at Old Trafford, as old foes Manchester United and Arsenal go head-to-head.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services for watching Premier League games as they happen, wherever you are in the world, and how to use a VPN if it’s not available where you are.

A hugely disappointing 15th-place finish for Man United last term — its lowest in the EPL era — has prompted a major overhaul of Ruben Amorim’s squad. $270 million has been splashed out on an all-new attacking lineup of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Šeško.

Arsenal have also been busy in the transfer market during the summer, with new No. 9 Victor Gyökeres set to make his Premier League debut for the Gunners today alongside fellow newcomers Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke.

Manchester United takes on Arsenal on Sunday, Aug. 17, at Old Trafford, with kickoff set for 4:30 p.m. BST. That makes it an 11:30 a.m. ET or 8:30 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and an 1:30 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia in the early hours of Monday morning.

Midfielder Martin Zubimendi looks set to make his first EPL appearance for Arsenal following his $60 million summer move from Real Sociedad.

How to watch the English Premier League 2025-26 season from anywhere with a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the EPL action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds, and can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN use to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions, ensuring you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN usage is crucial.

Quick tips for streaming the Premier League using a VPN

  • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming EPL matches may vary.
  • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log in to your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

New Finisher Cam, agent fixes, Premier rewards, and more

by admin June 11, 2025

VALORANT patch 10.11 just landed right in the middle of the game’s five-year anniversary, bringing visual upgrades headlined by the sleek Finisher Cam, quality-of-life improvements, and some cool new rewards for dedicated Premier mode players.

Riot Games has made sure to keep this patch light in terms of gameplay impact, so it won’t shake up the meta or interfere with the action at Masters Toronto 2025.

Here’s everything you need to know about VALORANT patch 10.11.

VALORANT patch notes 10.11 (June 10)

Finisher Cam

Riot has introduced the new Finisher Cam in VALORANT patch 10.11, and it’s pretty slick. Basically, whenever you get taken out by a skinline weapon that has a finisher, this feature kicks in, similar to how the Spike Cam works. It lets you spin around your downed agent and see the final moments from different angles.

But the real deal is that the Finisher Cam is designed to clean up a lot of the chaos that used to happen during finishers in the post-round. It helps reduce visual clutter, prevents sudden flashes or effects that might trigger photosensitivity issues, and fixes those janky camera bugs where your POV would glitch out mid-finisher. On top of that, it should also smooth out some of the performance hiccups players were running into when those finishers play out. It might be a small change, but it really tightens up the gameplay experience.

Agent bug fixes

VALORANT patch 10.11 brings a handful of much-needed visual and quality-of-life improvements to several agents, like Tejo, Reyna, Waylay, and Breach. These make their abilities feel much smoother to use or become clearer for spectators and observers. Here’s the list of agent adjustments:

Tejo’s ability maps are now clearer. Screenshot by Dot Esports

  • Fixed an issue where the visual indicator for Nightfall wouldn’t disappear for spectators if Fade dies with the ability equips.
  • Fixed an issue where area names on Guided Salvo ability maps were too large and overlapping due to decreased cast range. Removed area names from Tejo’s Guided Salvo and Armageddon ability maps for consistency.
  • Fixed an issue where Reyna’s targeting visual for Leer wouldn’t properly display for spectators, allies, and observer perspectives.
  • Fixed an issue where Waylay’s targeting indicator for Convergent Paths wouldn’t display properly for spectators, allies, and observer perspectives.
  • Fixed an issue where Clove’s Pick-Me-Up audio wouldn’t play properly for all players.
  • Fixed an issue where Chamber’s Trademark didn’t have team coloring applied on the minimap for observers.
  • Fixed an issue where Breach’s Fault Line area of effect VFX was not matching collision volume depending on charge duration.

GIGABYTE AORUS: the premier choice for an AMD gaming PC

by admin June 9, 2025

The motherboard is the heart of your PC, the nexus into which everything else connects. Using a good quality motherboard is important for any gaming PC build, as choosing second best can lead to lower framerates and less expansion capability.

For AMD’s AM5 processors, such as the latest 9000-series chips including the mighty Ryzen 7 9800X3D, that means the X870 chipset, and the X870E AORUS Master is GIGABYTE’s top-end ATX board, offering the best power and thermal design alongside exceptionally fast PCIe 5.0 and USB4 connectivity.

The X870E AORUS Master is built to be powerful, yet also to run at surprisingly low temperatures. It manages this by designing thermal management into the board at every level. The VRM—the voltage regulator module that helps guide the right amount of power to critical systems such as the CPU and RAM—is enveloped in GIGABYTE’s advanced Thermal Armor system. This uses heatpipes and a thermal pad to prevent this important corner of the motherboard from getting too hot, despite the large amounts of power that pass through it every time you switch your PC on. The IO shield is integrated into the cooling system, so you won’t have to find it in the box and fiddle around installing it the right way up.

Taming the beasts

Your PC’s SSDs can get hot too, especially if they’re the cutting-edge PCIe 5.0 drives supported by the X870E AORUS Master. The motherboard comes with a heatsink that will dissipate the heat they produce, helping to prevent them slowing down as they reach the point of thermal throttling. Earlier generations of M.2 SSDs didn’t need this additional cooling, but if you want the fastest in 2025 you need to take temperature into account. Three of the X870E AORUS Master’s M.2 slots support PCIe 5.0 x4 speeds, with the fourth still speedy at PCIe 4.0 x4, meaning you can fill a PC with a lot of fast storage by taking advantage of all these possibilities.

With all this heat being pumped into the air inside the case, you’ll need to supply fresh air through the use of case fans. The X870E AORUS Master offers a total of eight PWM fan headers, giving you endless intake and exhaust options alongside your choice of CPU cooler, all software controlled so that they only spin up to their full power when they need to, keeping the system quiet while under a reduced load. While you’re plugging things in, there are four aRGB Gen 2 headers and a four-pin light strip socket, to really make your PC your own with a unique look.

The greatest graphics

A top-end motherboard deserves a similarly premium GPU, and GIGABYTE has you covered with its Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16G. With 16 GB of VRAM on a 256bit interface, these cards offer a huge boost in raw performance over the previous generation, and bring with them improvements in AI calculations and ray-tracing too.

All this rendering power requires cooling that can keep up, and GIGABYTE’s Windforce system combines three of GIGABYTE’s innovative Hawk fans capable of spinning in alternate directions to reduce turbulence and increase airflow. The fan blades have been designed taking inspiration from the aerodynamic shape of an eagle’s wing, shaped to reduce air resistance and noise levels, and capable of a 12.5% increase in air volume without extra noise. Inside the fan is graphene nano lubricant, which eases the passage of the fan blades through the casing and can extend the life of the fan by 2.1 times over less sophisticated bearings. It’s quieter too.

Added to this futuristic engineering are heatpipes, a large copper plate in contact with the GPU itself, and topped off with server-grade thermal conductive gel to get temperatures under control. The card is capable of utilising a dual BIOS structure so that it can easily switch between Performance and Silent modes, using less power and needing less cooling—it can even turn its fans off completely when you’re not asking it to create fantastic graphics at phenomenal frame rates.

Build the future

The X870E AORUS Master and Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16G help make building your own PC easier than ever with their innovative building features. The graphics card slips home in the top PCIe slot easily thanks to EZ-Latch Plus with no screws to do up, while there are magnetic attachments in place for the SSD heatsink (EZ-Match) while the drives themselves which pop up at the press of a button and also have a fully screwless design. Even the WI-Fi 7 antennas connect easily to the terminals on the IO shield, with no fiddling or screwing required.

GIGABYTE’s supremely well designed motherboards for the latest generation of PC components are the premier choice for high-end AMD PC builds with X3D processors. Combine one with GIGABYTE’s Radeon RX 9070 Gaming OC 16G graphics card, and you have the basis of a system that will provide the highest frame rates and visual clarity in your games.

Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Espresso Machine Review: Beginner’s Luck

Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Espresso Machine Review: Beginner’s Luck

by admin May 28, 2025

I really, really appreciate Ninja’s take on the Luxe’s milk steaming system. Some automatic espresso machines incorporate a container of milk that has to be brought back and forth from the refrigerator, like the ones from this list. The Luxe, however, keeps it classic with a pitcher that you simply add milk to and a wand that begins steaming at the press of a button, another reason why it’s great for those who want barista-quality coffee drinks without all the guesswork.

You can manually steam milk if you so choose, or you can steam milk to four programmed settings, and this includes a cold foam. There’s also a setting for a plant-based option, and the Luxe adjusts automatically to this. I had little to no issues with this milk frother and enjoyed the opportunity to practice some latte art, even if the pitcher’s spout isn’t ideal for it.

Quirks and Quality

The Luxe has a removable hopper and rapid heat-up time, which are fantastic. To the left of the machine is where much of your coffee’s assembly happens. Before you grind your coffee, you’ll place a funnel on the portafilter to keep it in place. Unfortunately, after a couple months of use, the funnel’s plastic corners are chipping.

When not in use, there’s a designated spot for the funnel on the left side of the machine alongside the pressure-click tamper. I really like this tamper, as tamping is something I often overthink (Am I creating enough pressure? Do I have an even surface?), and the Luxe’s is designed for you to apply the ideal amount of pressure.

The water reservoir doesn’t come with a filter, unfortunately. As for the drip tray, it’s easy to remove and clean. An orange notch pops up when the tray needs to be emptied. On average, I empty the drip tray every four to five drinks. A handful of times the machine has leaked, even with the drip tray being empty.

A shelf allows the Luxe to accommodate your 2-ounce espresso shots but can be removed to allow room for a travel mug as large as 18 ounces. One common gripe about the Luxe is that despite the portafilter having two spouts, there is not enough room to accommodate two espresso cups on the shelf or drip tray, which is strange. However, one of the biggest misses on this machine is that there’s no hot water spout, something I particularly enjoyed with a machine like the De’Longhi Magnifica Start.

My beef with many Ninja kitchen appliances is that sometimes they try to do too much, like the cooler with an added “frost vault.” The Ninja Luxe Cafe feels different, however, considering how intentional it was in competing with other new-age espresso machines. Pulling espresso is solid and, while occasionally inconsistent, delivers an overall smooth and robust shot. The drip coffee was good, not great, and the cold brew can be bitter since it uses the room-temperature water from the filter.

Like many Ninja products, the machine sits in a weird space. A coffee purist may choose a straightforward machine without all the assists of the Luxe, while a true beginner may not feel comfortable investing in the Luxe’s “all-in-one” style. Nevertheless, it’s an overall quality piece of equipment at a fair price that makes me view the Ninja brand with respect when it comes to its coffee game.
