Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked rolls the dice on a release date and lands on this November

by admin October 4, 2025

I could probably quite safely bet some money that many of you are still happily ticking away at Baldur’s Gate 3, but for those of you that would like newer pastures to get your TTRPG fix in video game form, there’s some good news. The board game-esque tactical RPG Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked at long last has a release date!

You won’t be waiting long for it, as it’s slated for release this coming November 20th. No pound sterling or euro pricing for the game yet, but in USD it’ll set you back $30 – it’s also cross-platform and cross-device compatible, so no biggie if your friends aren’t on PC! And if it being more Dungeons & Dragons something or other, relatively affordable, and cross-everything isn’t enough for you, when Steam Next Fest kicks off next October 13th you’ll be able to try out a demo for yourself.

Watch on YouTube

This demo lets you try out a couple of encounters, with four heroes to choose from, including Jessix, a “human ranger seeking retribution” that is apparently a new reveal alongside this release date announcement! Plus, playing the demo will unlock an exclusive cosmetic for your d20s in the full game. Free stuff! Nobody hates free stuff!

If you haven’t even heard of Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked before, well, it’s a crossover between Demeo, which is also a fantasy, board game-esque tactical RPG, albeit set in its own world, with (you guessed it) D&D! You move little figures around a board while going through different campaigns, a big selling point being that it has online multiplayer, something Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked will also have. And you’ll be able to play it in VR too if that takes your fancy!

Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked is out November 20th, later this year.

Moonlighter 2 delayed to November due to overstuffed October release schedule

by admin October 1, 2025

The early access release of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has been delayed by a month due to the amount of games being released in October.

Developer Digital Sun and publisher 11 Bit Studios had originally planned to release its RPG shop-sim adventure sequel on 23rd October, but now it’ll be out on 19th November.

October has “filled up with so many other great releases that we feel it has become too crowded for us” they wrote in a statement shared on Steam. “And as every wise shopkeeper knows, even the most precious gem can be overlooked in an overstuffed showcase.”

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault | Early Access Date Reveal TrailerWatch on YouTube

In the meantime, closed playtests will run soon on Steam and the Microsoft Store, with details expected soon.

October’s release schedule is certainly looking stacked. The 23rd, specifically, sees the release of Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, Once Upon a Katamari and Double Dragon Revive.

However, there are other big games due out the rest of the month, including:

  • Ghost of Yotei – 2nd October
  • Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 – 2nd October
  • Digimon Story: Time Stranger – 3rd October
  • Battlefield 6 – 10th October
  • Little Nightmares 3 – 10th October
  • Pokemon Legends: Z-A – 16th October
  • Jurassic World Evolution 3 – 21st October
  • Ninja Gaiden 4 – 21st October
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 – 21st October
  • The Outer Worlds 2 – 29th October
  • Arc Raiders – 30th October
  • Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake – 30th October

Still, even with the move, Moonlighter 2 will now compete with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on 14th November.

While it’s certainly a wise move to not have quite so much competition on release, it’s near impossible to find a quiet release date to stand out with so many games released these days.

Plenty of games shifted release date in the wake of Hollow Knight: Silksong’s surprise launch, but has this set a worrying precedent?

Silksong’s surprise release in particular was described as “a little callous” by Hell is Us creative director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, believing it impacted sales of the sci-fi adventure.

The early access release for Moonlighter 2 was announced back in August. The game is a follow-up to 2018’s Moonlighter, and sees a shift from top-down to 3D worlds.

Possessor(s), the sort of Metroidvania from the devs behind Hyper Light Drifter, gets a November release date

by admin September 28, 2025

Heart Machine have had a busy year. It was only in January that they launched Hyper Light Breaker into early access, a surprise follow-up to their beloved indie action RPG Hyper Light Drifter. That launch didn’t go amazingly due to a myriad of reasons, and even now the game hasn’t completely managed to find its footing yet. And then there’s Possessor(s), their search action (not Metroidvania) game that at long last has a release date!

That date is quite soon, too: November 11th, less than two months away. This date came with a new little gameplay overview trailer, showing off some of the tools the game’s protagonist will be able to use on her journey. I’m quite into the concept behind them, they’re all just things you’re likely to find left behind in a ruined city; a computer mouse, an electric guitar, a pair of sunglasses, all usable in combat that’s apparently partially inspired by games like Smash Bros.

Watch on YouTube

The overall concept is a tantalising one too. You play as Luca, a teenage girl caught up in the mess of a quarantined city whose body becomes so damaged she’s forced to let a demon named Rhem in to fix it. This city is in ruins because of some experiments conducted by an evil corporation (the evil being a bit moot there because when isn’t a corporation evil), with other demons having possessed everyday household objects.

Possessor(s) marks a bit of a departure for Heart Machine having transitioned to a 2D, sidescrolling plane. There’s certainly the hallmarks of the studio with its fresh concept and killer art direction, I’m just hoping they’ve managed to pull off a hit given how Hyper Light Breaker has been put through the ringer. We’ll find out in a couple of months!

Ethereum’s Next Milestone: November Fork Targets Scalability And Efficiency – Details

by admin September 28, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Ethereum’s roadmap continues to unfold with a pivotal fork set for November, aimed at boosting scalability and streamlining efficiency across the network. With scalability long viewed as ETH’s biggest hurdle, this fork represents a critical step toward unlocking its full potential as the world’s leading smart contract platform.

Why This Fork Matters For Ethereum’s Long-Term Roadmap

Leading smart contract platform, Ethereum, is set for another important milestone this November. Sequence has highlighted on X that the Fusaka upgrade is a foundational hard fork infrastructure designed to strengthen the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) while ensuring seamless compatibility for builders.

This upgrade is engineered to abstract the blockchain complexity and deliver smoother authentication and user flows across the blockchain ecosystem. The best part is that Sequence is already ahead of the curve by having the tools and infrastructure that prepare developers for Fusaka’s impact today.

While the Fusaka upgrade aims at strengthening the ETH ecosystem, Wendy J has noted that ETH has seen a notable price dip, as the SentientAGI GRID chat has flagged some activity behind the move. According to the AI platform, several 100,000 ETH transfers were recorded in the past 24 hours.

Interestingly, this kind of large-scale transfer suggests that major holders are likely either profit-taking after the run-up or repositioning their capital. Sentient Chat also listed other factors that could have contributed to the market-wide dump.

Source: Chart from Wendy J on X

In the meantime, analyst Wendy advised the community to use Sentient Chat for any crypto-related questions. With Sentient Chat, you can instantly generate asset reports fueled by DeFi data, request trading insights tailored to current conditions, or even deploy autonomous agents to handle on-chain tasks in real time to enhance decision-making and yield optimization.

Why This Correction Looks Healthy, Not Critical

On the daily time frame, the recent correction in Ethereum has pushed the Relative Strength Index (RSI) into a critical oversold zone, a level we have not witnessed since the major accumulation phase back in July. BTCBlueWhale mentioned that there is nothing critical in this current correction.  Meanwhile, back in July, ETH showed the same setup, and the price dipped into oversold territory, which retested the previous resistance level, and used that structure as a springboard for a massive rally.

Currently, the daily chart is printing a very similar scenario with trading in a comparable accumulation zone and showing a clear resistance-to-support (R/S) flip, which is a classic sign of structure holding the price strong. Layering on top of that, the setup aligns almost perfectly with the PO3 strategy.

Hyper Light studio Heart Machine’s next singleplayer game is launching in November, no early access, just a year and a half after it was announced

by admin September 27, 2025

In a new trailer, developer Heart Machine has revealed the release date of its new metroidvania search action game, Possessor(s). The fighting game-inspired platformer arrives on November 11, just a brisk year and a half after its June 2024 announcement.

I got a first look at Possessor(s) in action earlier this year, but was not able to try it hands on. I liked what I saw though: Earnest storytelling inspired by early aughts anime dubs, slick combat with the promise of juggling, parries, and tricky bosses, plus some gorgeous character and environment art.

POSSESSOR(S) Gameplay Overview | PS5 and PC on November 11 – YouTube

Watch On

That last bit is something I’m particularly excited about with Possessor(s): I find a lot of Metroid-style platformers can have overly abstracted, gamey environments. Hollow Knight and Silksong do a great job of avoiding this, with each area having a real tangible feeling and deep environmental storytelling.

Related articles

I also have to hand it to Metroid Dread on this front, a game that otherwise left me cold. Possessor(s) really sells the illusion of a ruined city over its platforming gauntlets, and I’m eager to see more.

As for combat, you can only glean so much without trying something hands on, but Possessor(s) looks propulsive and fun, while it cites some exciting influences. As a reformed Smash sicko, I want to see how much a singleplayer game can deliver that feeling.

I also dig the conceit that your weapons and gear are mundane items infused with power from the ongoing demonic invasion. Guitars, computer mice, hockey sticks, and cell phones are some of the tools that have been shown off so far.

After getting so used to long lead times after game announcements, as well as the early access model—which Heart Machine opted for in its co-op roguelike, Hyper Light Breaker—it’s refreshing to see a game get announced then released in relatively short order. It’s even more impressive given that the studio is managing two projects at the same time. You can wishlist Possessor(s) on Steam ahead of its November 11 release.

Possessor(s), The Next Action Game By The Makers Of Hyper Light Drifter And Solar Ash, Arrives In November

by admin September 26, 2025

Possessor(s) is the next action game by Heart Machine, a studio best known for the well-received Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash, as well as the currently early access Hyper Light Breaker. The Metroid-style 2D search action game is coming this November, and a new trailer breaks down its story premise and combat mechanics.

Coming to PlayStation 5 and PC on November 11, the game takes place in a quarantined city overrun by demons following an interdimensional catastrophe. Players control Luca, a high school student who becomes mortally wounded during the calamity, losing both of her legs. To survive, she makes a desperate deal with a demon named Rhem to restore her body. Though Luca and Rhem don’t always get along, the two must cooperate to escape the city and bring down a corrupt corporation that has been siphoning demonic energy for its own gains.

Luca uses ordinary makeshift weapons, ranging from a guitar to a computer mouse, to execute stylish directional combos and air juggles to conquer her demonic adversaries. As the journey progresses, she gains new powers to access new areas, such as a wall-running ability and a whip for swinging across gaps.

We played a slice of Possessor(s) during Summer Game Fest in June and were largely impressed with its well-tuned, if familiar, action. You can read our full impressions here.

Horror-tinged sidescroller Possessor(s) hits PC and PS5 on November 11

by admin September 26, 2025

The long-awaited sidescroller Possessor(s) will be available on November 11 for PC and PS5. It’s a horror-tinged action game with Metroidvania elements. It also happens to look extremely beautiful.

The game was developed by Heart Machine, which is the same company behind Hyper Light Drifter and its prequel Hyper Light Breaker. Publishing duties fall to Devolver, which has had a hand in a boatload of recent indie hits from Enter the Gungeon to Cult of the Lamb. The developer just dropped a launch date trailer for Possessor(s) and it’s filled with both gameplay and story elements.

As for that story, the game’s set in a quarantined metropolis that’s been invaded by ghostly forces. Exploration will slowly unravel what happened to the city. There’s an open-ended narrative with multiple paths and plenty of characters to meet.

The combat looks really slick, with lots of melee using found objects. The protagonist can also slide down long corridors and swing from a grappling hook. Weapons can be upgraded and there looks to be a skill tree of some kind.

We only have around five weeks until we can get our hands on this one. Pre-orders on both platforms are up right now, but there’s no price yet.

After selling 1.4m copies on Steam, Stardew Valley-inspired Dinkum hits Nintendo Switch this November

by admin September 13, 2025

You may not be aware of it, but the Australian-themed Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley-inspired title, Dinkum, was one of the breakout Steam games of 2022. The game sold over 350,000 within a month, and the title has gone from strength to strength since, racking up a total of over 1.4m sales since its 14th July early access launch in 2022.

What’s the story behind the game’s success? There was a late marketing push for the title just before it hit Steam – aided along by IGN’s Summer of Games show in the same year – and some YouTubers that focus on cozy life-sim games helped nudge the audience higher, too.

Solo developer, James Bendon, is now keen to push his growing audience even further by releasing the game on Nintendo Switch (and playable on Switch 2). Whilst the initial development efforts on PC were all handled by Bendon, publisher Krafton has supported with the Switch ports, with members of the team at studio 5minlab coming in to help with porting the title to the handheld machine.

“As a massive Nintendo fan, having my own game on a Nintendo console has been a lifelong dream for me,” Bendon says in a press release. “I feel that Dinkum is a good fit for Nintendo Switch players, and it’s been the most requested console from players who have been waiting a long time to play Dinkum. I am certain that launching on the Switch will bring a lot of new players to Dinkum.”

Per a release from Bendon and Krafton, the Nintendo Switch version has been optimised for handheld play (with adjustments made to control schemes, and UI/UX), and all major content will be available across both platforms. There is a small exclusive in-game Battlegrounds costume players will be able to nab on Switch, but it’s just a cosmetic.

We’re used to seeing a lot of life sims and farming games during Nintendo Direct showcases, but with this one, it at least seems like there’s an in-built audience that’s been waiting for a while to see Dinkum escape the exclusive realms of the PC. And as we’re seeing ConcernedApe slow down development on Stardew Valley (well, in theory, at least), Bendon hints that Dinkum could live a lot longer.

“I think Dinkum is the kind of game that I could update forever, so I think as long as there are players who love Dinkum, I think they will inspire me to continue working on updates,” he says. “I am hopeful that offering Dinkum on the Nintendo Switch (and hopefully many other platforms in the future) will only bring more passionate players to Dinkum, and their passion for the game will continue to fuel my inspiration.”

Dinkum comes to Nintendo Switch, and will be playable on Switch 2, on 6th November.

SEC Delays Franklin Solana ETF Decision to November 2025

by admin September 10, 2025

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has again delayed its decision on the Franklin Solana (SOL) exchange-traded fund, and set a new deadline of November 14, 2025.

This is after earlier delays in April, when the deadline was pushed to June, and then again in mid-June when the agency opened formal proceedings. That move started a 180-day countdown, which was set to expire on September 15, but with the latest change the final decision date has now been pushed further.

In its release, the regulator said to carefully study the filing and its possible impact on investors. Once the November 14 deadline arrives, the Commission will have no option to delay further and must either approve or reject the ETF.

Meanwhile, Franklin’s proposal is one of several Solana-based ETFs currently being reviewed. Other companies, including Grayscale, VanEck, and 21Shares, have also submitted applications.

Bloomberg Intelligence reported that many of these firms have updated their filings to improve their chances. Most of the applications are facing similar delays, with several final deadlines set in October. The first big date is October 10, when the SEC must decide on Grayscale’s Solana Trust. Analysts say that ruling could influence how the regulator handles the other pending applications.

Meanwhile, Solana price is up 2% today, and currently trades for $221, according to CoinMarketCap.

Optimism around the ETF filings is seen as one reason for the rally. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart has said on X that the “odds haven’t really changed much if at all” and maintained his prediction of a 95% chance that a Solana ETF will be approved by the end of 2025.
