The teams behind two of Dawn of War’s big overhaul mods are working to update them for the Definitive Edition

by admin August 20, 2025

One of the low-key most exciting changes in Dawn of War: Definitive Edition is the shift to a 64-bit exe, which makes it a more stable platform for modding. Dawn of War is beloved for its sense of scale, and being able to expand that even further with massive numbers of enemies on screen and even more factions is the promise of mods like Unification.

If you’re all keyed-up to install Unification right away, however, maybe hold off on that a minute. You might encounter a few problems, like not being able to pan the screen left or right with the cursor, or graphical issues with the Unification campaign map. Over on the Unification Discord, a modder called Kekoulis, Shogun of Unification, has explained the team is waiting for the Definitive Edition to be patched before releasing an update for the mod.

The schedule for that has moved forward, however. Relic had communicated that the Definitive Edition’s second patch, planned for September, would be the one to wait for. Now it’s looking like the first major patch will include the fixes modders are waiting on, “So we will wait for that to test and see if we can release earlier than the 2nd major patch”, Kekoulis writes. “We have already made some progress on updating the UI as well as the rest of the elements, so the patch is proceeding as planned.”

Back in the day, my preferred wide-scale overhaul for Dawn of War was the Ultimate Apocalypse mod, which is also having some issues with the Definitive Edition—in particular with the UI. Its maps also look rough compared to the upscaled originals. Fortunately the team currently in charge of that mod is also working on a compatibility update.

The same can’t be said for the Crucible mod. Its creators have put together a lengthy document detailing their issues with the Definitive Edition, and said on their Discord that, “Right now there are only a few minor positives to moving to DE, and multiple major negatives, so on balance we will continue modding legacy DOW until DE is up to scratch.”

Finally, since apparently enough people have been asking the Unification team about the recently announced Dawn of War 4 that they’ve had to post a reply. Kekoulis, Shogun of Unification, has made it plain they won’t be adapting Unification to the next game in the series. “Aside from the fact we do not even know the state of that game and how it will be, you are asking us to redo 10+ years worth of work in a new game,” Kekoulis writes, “which will be less known and will have different aspects. The home of Unification is DOW1, especially with DE.”

Nexus Mods founder to step away as ownership of the site “changes hands”

by admin June 20, 2025

Nexus Mods founder is stepping away from his “behemoth” creation, passing the site onto new owners.

In a statement posted to the website, Robin “Dark0ne” Scott said that for both “my and the community’s best interest,” the “time has come to step back from the day-to-day running of the site.”

“I started this project back in 2001, in my bedroom, with a 56k modem, an excitement for the upcoming release of Morrowind, and with no grand ambitions or intentions. I didn’t set out to build a business, I just wanted to make a place where modders could share their work without worrying it would vanish into the internet, either the next time a fansite went offline or a publisher decided they were done with it. That idea grew legs, sprouted arms, and turned into Nexus Mods,” the statement began.

“Since then, this site has been my entire adult life. Every single day, for over two decades, I’ve been ‘on call’, whether it was fixing issues, reading feedback, pushing updates, or getting pulled into the latest bit of community drama. It’s been rewarding, sometimes chaotic, often exhausting and always personal. Somewhere along the way, I forgot to step back and breathe, or sleep properly. The dilemma of running a major social network that does not rest!”

Scott added that running the site had also been a “regular source” of anxiety and stress-related health issues, and suspected he had been “burning out,” which was impacting both the site and the “40 incredibly dedicated” people who work there.

“One of the biggest reasons I’ve been doing this for so long is that I’ve never felt that I truly found someone who really ‘gets’ the modding community the way I do. Finding a new owner who would be able to understand and respect the myriad intricacies of both Nexus Mods as a business and the wider modding community was essential,” he added (thanks, RPS). “After months of meetings, face-to-face talks, and a whole lot of soul searching, I am thrilled to say that I truly believe I have found the exact right people for the task.”

Though Scott insisted there wouldn’t be many changes from the user-side of things, he said the new owners – introduced via usernames – “have my complete trust.”

In a follow-up post, new owner “Foledinho” assured members “mods will always remain free” and ownership of the mods will continue to belong “to the creators who create them.” As for monetization?

“Monetization is hard and Nexus Mods is a complex platform,” the new owner said. “What matters most is continuing to support mod authors, delight users, and keep the lights on. We’re not changing the core model. No aggressive monetization. No paid mods. If anything, we’re aiming for fewer ads, not more. We’ll take a community-first, listening approach, and we won’t compromise on what’s made Nexus Mods special.”

In April 2025, a Japanese modder was sentenced to two years in prison. After being convicted of infringing Nintendo’s trademark and sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for three years. He was also fined around $3500.

Minecraft players warned of mods stealing passwords & personal data

by admin June 20, 2025

A new Minecraft report has highlighted a “malicious” campaign that targets mods to steal all sorts of personal information.

There’s a reason why the Minecraft community is still thriving nowadays, despite the game being over a decade old. With creative freedom, there’s just so much you can do. Not to mention, installing mods can help make the experience even more exciting as they provide more depth to the gameplay.

While that’s the case, however, players should take extra caution when it comes to downloading mods. As investigated by Check Point Research, there’s been a large-scale, malicious campaign that targets Minecraft mods, which can lead to whoever installs these getting their Windows devices infected.

Once that happens, they could risk getting their credentials, authentication tokens, cryptocurrency wallets, and other important data stolen.

Minecraft players risk getting their personal data stolen from fake mods

Check Point Research’s discovery highlights “malicious repositories distributing malware” conducted by the Stargazers Ghost Network, which uses the Minecraft modding system as well as GitHub to reach a large audience of victims.

According to the report, the malware distributed impersonated “Oringo and Taunahi”, which are scripts or cheats. Both the first and second stages are developed in Java and can only be executed if the Minecraft runtime is installed on the host machine,” they explained.

MojangMods let you be creative with your builds in-game, but they can also be dangerous.

These files would then pull off a “multi-stage attack” to compromise systems and steal personal data from victims.

Check Point Research has also been working since March 2025 to track these “malicious GitHub repositories.” These would not only appear “legitimate,” but they would also be “undetected by all antivirus engines across VirusTotal, as it is highly targeted for Minecraft users.”

So, what happens in the worst-case scenario, assuming that these end up running in one’s system? Their report provided a long list of all the data that could be stolen ranging from browser logins, cryptocurrency wallets, private messages through Discord, and so much more.

End of an era: Nexus Mods has change in ownership after 24 years following “stress-related health issues”

by admin June 18, 2025

Nexus Mods has new ownership after 24 years under the stewardship of website founder Dark0ne.

Nexus Mods stands as the largest hub for video game mods for PC users, with a library of 716,500 mods across 3,768 games.

In an official blog post Dark0ne, who founded Nexus Mods back in 2001, explained what will change as well as why he decided to step away from the modding giant, linking “stress-related health issues” with his ownership.

Here’s our video on some of the best Oblivion mods you can’t live without.Watch on YouTube

“I realised that I have been burning out and this started to have an impact on my staff and Nexus Mods as a whole,” wrote Dark0ne. “So, I firmly believe that the best thing for the future of Nexus Mods is for me to step aside and bring in new leadership to steer the business forward with renewed energy to make Nexus Mods the modding community we all truly deserve.”

In a section titled “What Changes Now?” Dark0ne stated not much will differ for users, and introduced new owners Victor, Marinus, and Nikolai as the trio who’ll be steering the ship going forward. The blog only links to their Nexus Mods accounts page, rather than any information on previous business experience.

This post led some users to dig in a little further. RandomlyRandom67 on ResetEra did some digging and found the Linkedin profiles of several Danes who share the names of those mentioned in the blog post. This group works at a growth-focused gaming company called Chosen. On Marinus Elgaard’s Linkedin page, he wrote “Working closely with teams at NexusMods and beyond to build meaningful, sustainable experiences” under his experience history at Chosen

Looking at Chosen’s Linkedin page, four staff named Victor, Marinus, Nikolai, and Nikolaj can be found, further confirmation that Chosen is the company seemingly now in charge of Nexus Mods’ future.

This has worried Nexus Mod users, not only due to the growth-focused mission statement at the heart of Chosen, but prior statements from Chosen’s Victor Folmann on monetisation. This LinkedIn post champions the merits of in-app purchases, sponsorship, and more.

On an attached monetisation “cheat sheet” in that same post, a play-to-earn monetisation model is listed as an approach, which spooked some users. However Victor, in response to a comment on the monetisation post stating, “If you add NFTs or crypto to Nexus, you’ll kill the culture and community”, replied “100 percent agree – not happening”.

As an interesting aside, that fourth name on Chosen’s Linkedin page is especially interesting. Nikolaj is none other than Nikolaj Nyholm! One of the stars of the Danish Dragon’s Den, and founder of Danish esports team Astralis, best known for its Counter Strike team. Astralis isn’t doing especially hot right now, and is reportedly looking for buyers and investors. Nyholm’s involvement in Chosen is one of a founder and investor, as he puts the world of esports in his back pocket. The one without any money in it.

So it’s all a little doom and gloom right now in the world of modding. Concerns stem from the involvement of a growth-focused company, involvement which could lead to changes that impact the users of gaming’s biggest mod platform, in spite of Dark0ne’s sentiment in his farewell post. The ball is in Chosen’s court, to keep the website on the straight and narrow, aligned with the legacy of Nexus Mods, or ultimately prove the critics right.

Nexus Mods’ new owner is a company whose co-founder has already had to reassure folks that NFTs and crypto aren’t incoming

by admin June 17, 2025

Yesterday, modding site Nexus Mods announced a change in ownership that’ll see its founder step back. Not much info was provided in the announcement as to who the new owners were, but it’s now been confirmed to be a company called Chosen.

As we reported yesterday, the ownership change announcement penned by Nexus mods founder Robin ‘Dark0ne’ Scott didn’t go into much detail as to the identity of those being handed the reigns. A Victor and a Marinus were cited as having “come on board to lead this next chapter”, along with links to their Nexus Mods profiles that only offered brief bios.

We reached out to Nexus Mods yesterday in order to try and learn more about the identity of the new owners, and were provided with a statement by community lead Mathew Elliott.

“We didn’t go into too much detail about the new ownership in the initial post, but the community has been quick to put on their investigator hats, digging into the new owners’ identities, backgrounds, beliefs, even their favorite football teams, and speculating on what this might mean for modding,” it said, “A bit of Reddit or Twitter sleuthing will surface most of what they’ve found.” It added that the new owners are “very hands-on and are now embedded directly with the team in our offices.”

The community sleuthing Elliott referenced was this ResetEra thread, which saw users RandomlyRandom67 and chocobalt conclude that the new owners are a company called Chosen, with co-founders Victor Folmann and Marinus Elgaard believed to be the Victor and Marinus referred to in Scott’s post. This has now been confirmed via a stickied comment on Scott’s original post.

In it, Folmann, Elgaard, and Nikolaj Nyholm address Scott’s post not mentioning Chosen by name, writing: “This post wasn’t about Chosen — it was about Robin and the legacy he built over 24 years. We’re the new owners and ultimate decision-makers at Nexus Mods. We’ll share more about ourselves when we’ve earned that right. For now, we’re focused on listening, learning, and making modding even easier, and yes, you’ll see us around in the community being active.”

The trio assert that they don’t plan to start charging for mods or revoking lifetime premium subscriptions, adding in terms of monetisation in general: “We’re not changing the core model. No aggressive monetisation. No paid mods. If anything, we’re aiming for fewer ads, not more.”

Chosen, which was only founded in January 2025, state their aim as being to “partner with founders to help scale what they’ve built—amplifying their impact, supporting their team and culture, and ensuring the business thrives for the long term.” Basically, they look to be in the business of buying into or buying up community-focused platforms (their website cites previous work with the likes of EA FC community databases FUTBIN and RenderZ), and running them, with founders offered the chance to stay on board or take a “quick, straightforward exit” that Chosen claim shouldn’t leave them worrying about their creation going down the pan.

Folmann’s LinkedIn activity came under scrutiny following the aforementioned ResetEra sleuthing, including a ‘Gaming startup monetisation cheat sheet’ that mentions NFTs and crypto, originally posted seven months ago. When a commenter fretted about these features being added to Nexus Mods, Folmann responded “100% agree — not happening”.

Another post from four months ago sees him predict that in 2025 “AI will enable solo devs to create $100M hits and 2-person teams to build AAA games”, and claim “AI-powered modding will revolutionise game development”.

We’ve reached out to Nexus Mods and Chosen for comment.

It’ll be interesting to see how all of this plays out, but originally announcing the ownership change in a way that left folks needing to do some pretty in-depth detective work to find out exactly who was taking over seems a strange and counterproductive move on Nexus Mods’ part, at least from a PR perspective.

Creator Of Nexus Mods Sells To Mysterious Buyer After 24 Years

by admin June 17, 2025

Nexus Mods is changing hands. The vast database for free mods of PC games ranging from The Witcher 3 to Stardew Valley has been sold for the first time since it was created 24 years ago. “The strain of being responsible for the behemoth I created has taken its toll,” previous owner Dark0ne wrote in an update on Monday. “The stress of the job has been a regular source of anxiety and stress-related health issues.”

The Top 10 Most-Played Games On Steam Deck: November 2023 Edition

Nexus Mods is where thousands of modders go to share their creations. Whenever a new game comes out, be it big like Monster Hunter Wilds or small like Blue Prince, mods quickly become available on Nexus for everything from helping with inventory management to enhancing visuals. It’s been a cornerstone of PC gaming for many players for decades now, though Dark0ne suggested nothing much will change in the day-to-day now that he’s no longer running it.

“I started this project back in 2001, in my bedroom, with a 56k modem, an excitement for the upcoming release of Morrowind and with no grand ambitions or intentions,” he wrote in an update on the Nexus Mods website. “I didn’t set out to build a business, I just wanted to make a place where modders could share their work without worrying it would vanish into the internet either [sic] the next time a fansite went offline or a publisher decided they were done with it. That idea grew legs, sprouted arms, and turned into Nexus Mods.”

Dark0ne said he’s been looking for someone else to take over management of Nexus Mods for a while now due to all the stress of running a small online social network, but it wasn’t until recently that he found someone to take over who “really ‘gets’ the modding community the way I do.” He didn’t reveal who that someone is, though, or the price tag for the deal. Is Nexus Mods about to get way worse? Some users are already freaking out about paid subscriptions coming. Dark0ne claims not much will change in the immediate future, though.

“Behind the scenes, I’ve already been stepping back bit by bit,” he wrote. “Over the past few years, the team has taken on more of the weight and the site’s been doing better than ever. What’s changing now is simply the formality of it, making sure the right people are in place to guide Nexus Mods into the next era. That includes some structural updates to the company ownership that we aren’t shouting about, but I want to be transparent: they’re about long-term stability, not changing the values or direction of the platform. Nexus Mods is community-first and mod-author focused, that’s not up for negotiation.”

Some shifts have already been underway at Nexus Mods, which is run by a team of 40 people. A big one was moving to ease rules on modders getting paid for their work. Some modders now link to Patreons and other places where people can donate to them directly for ongoing updates to certain popular mods in games like Starfield and Elden Ring. Nexus Mods community managers said at the time that the goal was to find a way to balance compensation incentives with the desire to keep the modding scene free and open, even as companies like Bethesda try to monetize creator work in their games.

Nexus Mods has also recently taken stands again bigotry. The site refused to host a Starfield mod back in 2023 that deleted pronoun options from the game. Nexus Mods told 404 Media at the time that it wasn’t meant as a political statement, but as a way to protect its users. “[The] removal of diversity, while appealing to many, does not promote a positive modding community,” they said.

Nexus Mods announce ownership change, but the folks taking over remain a bit mysterious

by admin June 16, 2025

Massive modding site Nexus Mods have announced a change in ownership, with founder Robin ‘Dark0ne’ Scott set to step back. As to who the new owners are, a couple of first names and modding profiles have been provided, as well as an assertion that these new overlords understand what makes Nexus Mods tick.

Scott – who founded the site as the Elder Scrolls-focused TES Nexus in 2001, and has owned it via his company Black Tree Gaming since 2007 – announced the news via a post on Nexus Mods.

“The strain of being responsible for the behemoth I created has taken its toll,” Scott wrote, “The stress of the job has been a regular source of anxiety and stress-related health issues. I realised that I have been burning out and this started to have an impact on my staff and Nexus Mods as a whole.

“So, I firmly believe that the best thing for the future of Nexus Mods is for me to step aside and bring in new leadership to steer the business forward with renewed energy to make Nexus Mods the modding community we all truly deserve.”

Following “months of meetings, face-to-face talks, and a whole lot of soul searching”, he believes he’s found new ownership that will “understand and respect the myriad intricacies of both Nexus Mods as a business and the wider modding community”.

Scott added: “I want to be clear, this isn’t some corporate “exit” or a backroom deal. This is me doing something I probably should’ve done years ago: taking care of myself.”

So, who’s taking over Nexus Mods? Well, further on in the post, Scott introduces folks called Victor and Marinus, linking to their Nexus Mods profiles under the handles Foledinho and Rapsak, and revealing that they’ve “come on board to lead this next chapter”.

“They’ve got deep roots in gaming, tech, and most importantly, they give a damn; about the site, the community, and the future we’re trying to build here,” he wrote, later adding “they’re about long-term stability, not changing the values or direction of the platform.”

Taking a look at the profiles of these two, whose full names haven’t been provided, you can see that they’ve been given the same ‘site owner’ tag Scott’s account currently boasts. “For the past decade, I’ve been building platforms in gaming and UGC,” Foledinho’s profile bio says, citing his goal with Nexus Mods as being to “help make modding easier, where games evolve through the hands of players.”

Rapsak, meanwhile, “started producing music on a PlayStation at eight years old and eventually became a DJ, touring internationally and playing shows with music I’d made myself.

“At the same time, I was diving deeper into tech, building PCs at 13, launching my first business at 15 (a DJ booking system), and writing code every chance I got,” he goes on. Rapsak also notes that he only ever wears black T-shirts, which is “not a fashion thing, just one less decision to make in the morning.” Ok then.

We’ve reached out to Nexus Mods for comment.

According to Scott, the ownership change shouldn’t result in much of a change in terms of the day-to-day user experience on Nexus Mods in the near future, with its “team of 40 incredibly dedicated people, some of whom have been here for over nine years” still in place.

40% of Stellar Blade mods are NSFW, but don’t worry, we’ve narrowed that down to three guaranteed to raise your heart rate

by admin June 15, 2025

Right, put your hands on the table. Please. I won’t ask again. Thank you. Stellar Blade arrived on PC as of June 11th, and naturally that’s brought a new lease of life the the modding community who’d only had a demo to play with up until that point. Around 40% of the game’s mods over on the Nexus right now are a bit risqué, so we’ve done you a favour and picked out the three filthiest on offer.

Don’t feel you have to thank us. Well, me. This is all part of the job description, alongside all of the holding power to account and providing a service to the consumer stuff. Odds are my Pulitzer’s already in the post.

Okay, you ready? Having searched through the 222 Stellar Blade works on Nexus Mods as of writing, I isolated the 90 tagged as ‘adult’, and calculated that those numbers meant the racy, lecherous, and bawdy stuff made up exactly 40.54% of the total. Then, my instincts kicked in. I began a search for the naughtiest of the naughty, the hardcore horniness-inducers. I found three things.

First of all, and promise me you’ll remain calm, I found the work of modder WTails358. I present to you, dear reader, their Casual Wear. As you’ll see if you click that link after making sure there are no kids or people with pacemakers nearby, this utterly smutty mod clothes Eve in an incredibly chic autumnal turtleneck-style jumper with a dragon design on it.

That sumptuous garment, which tastefully bares her midriff, is paired with delightfully retro chunky trousers that form the perfect constrast via their bright porcelain hue. Completing the look are a striking aquatically-themed belt buckle in gold, and a pair of understated boots that combine practicality with high fashion. Reader, just breathe, I know your temperature’s rising with every word, but you must maintain control.

If you’re alright to continue, I’ll introduce you to this Formal Wear. Steady now. Take deep breaths. I know, it’s an elegant suit and tie combo that allows Eve to cut an equally striking and refined figure that’d look at home on any of the catwalks in Milan or Paris. C’est magnifique, especially twinned with the rounded spectacles that cast Eve as a shrewd, sharp individual who knows what good vintage burgundy tastes like. Phwoar indeed.

However, you mustn’t get carried away, because I have one more totally pornographic mod to show you. It’s modder Tenshiken1’s Thomas the Tank Engine replacer for the stalker boss. Oh no. You’ve blown your whistle. You’vre chugged along the tracks and let out a deep, lustful choo-choo. I hope you’re proud of yourself. What would Sir Topham Hat think?

Well, at least you’ve got time to ruminate on your failings and appreciate the non-jiggly things in life while you wait for more info from Shift Up about Stellar Blade 2.

Stellar Blade is doing better numbers than almost every other PlayStation port on Steam, and it’s probably not just because of the nude mods

by admin June 13, 2025

It’s great that so many PlayStation games have come to PC in the last few years, letting me stack a heap of extra big-budget videogame junk food on my pile of shame. Welcome to the backlog, Horizon Zero Dawn. These games haven’t always set the Steam top sellers list on fire, however, sometimes thanks to a marketing budget you’d have to squint to see. How many people even knew Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 came out on PC at the end of January? No wonder it only managed a peak player count of 28,189.

Meanwhile, the newly released Stellar Blade is currently number one on the global top sellers list and hit a peak of 183,380 concurrent players. As far as PS5 ports go, that puts it behind only Helldivers 2, which made it to 458,709 players at release. In the number three spot? Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, with 77,154 concurrents.

For the sake of completeness, here’s a bunch of other PlayStation games Stellar Blade is doing better than on Steam: God of War (73,529), Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered (66,436), and The Last of Us Part 1 (36,496). In the case of the last one especially, Stellar Blade has the advantage of being a much better port. You’ll still want a controller because it’s that kind of game, but testing out the demo I found it ran smoothly and looked great, with no slowdown even when things were exploding all around me.

Related articles

If you don’t know much about it, Stellar Blade is the kind of third-person hack-and-slash where perfectly timed parries and dodges are essential, with explorable open sections between the on-rails bits, and a plot that’s like every sci-fi anime you’ve ever seen thrown in a blender until it’s reduced to the purest Trope Juice. It’s basically Nier Automata for dummies, with even more fanservice.

While Stellar Blade comes with an impressive list of PC-specific features, like ultrawide resolutions, DLSS 4 and FSR 3 support, unlocked framerates and so on, there’s another reason the PC version might appeal that won’t get listed on the Steam page: mods. Stellar Blade’s protagonist Eve already boobs her way breastily through the game, but modders have wasted no time adding nudity, a variety of saucy outfits, pornographic backgrounds for the menu screen, and more. Nexus Mods already has dozens of adult mods and the game’s brand new.

There’s certainly overlap in the Venn diagram of “horny weebs” and “people who want a sequel to Nier Automata already”, but Stellar Blade does seem to have hit big with both groups of players. There are plenty of user reviews praising its optimization, combat, and exploration, as well as ones that are shamelessly thirsty. I quote: “The camera angles? Designed by the devil himself. Someone on that dev team was NOT okay.”

In both the user reviews and comments on Nexus Mods, there are an unusually high number of messages in Chinese, which provides the final piece in the “why is this fairly mid action game so popular” puzzle. Good thing Stellar Blade’s developers pushed back against region-locking.

Stellar Blade mods are already out before official PC release date

by admin June 2, 2025

Stellar Blade mods have already started to appear online ahead of the game’s PC release, and you can download them right now.

On May 31, Shift Up released its eagerly anticipated Stellar Blade PC demo, allowing players to test out the stylish hack-and-slash before its June 4 release date. So far, players have praised the devs for the port’s optimization and enhanced visuals.

Hell, the game even runs on Steam Deck – a bonus for players who want to take Eve’s adventure on the go. However, despite the PC version having higher frame rates and enhanced visuals, one of the most highly anticipated additions is mod support.

Despite not being out yet, Stellar Blade players have already begun to upload mods that add new outfits, character models, and, as expected, some rather thirsty content.

Stellar Blade mods are already live

The most notable mods released before the game drops are the Racing Outfit and Casual Wear skin, which give the deadly android a brand-new look.

As the name suggests, the Racing Outfit ditches the dive suit and sees Eve wearing a blue and white suit that comes with a chequered racing flag motif. Meanwhile, the Casual Wear skin features a red jacket with a dragon emblazoned upon it and a pair of striking white trousers.

One of the oddest and most comical is the Yakuza – Goromi mod, which replaces Eve with the Yakuza series’ legendary Goro Majima. The comical crook has ditched his signature snakeskin jacket and opted for a bright pink dress instead. Majima is no stranger to the wackier side of life, so taking down fleshy aliens in a brightly colored dress isn’t too much of a stretch.

There are also a bunch of quality-of-life mods that remove film grain and aim to improve the game’s visuals. The Stellar Optimizer mod also reduces stuttering by optimizing the game’s shader compilation, which could lead to a much smoother gameplay experience on lower-end hardware.
