Shiba Inu (SHIB): Massive Fight for Bull Run Chance Begins Now

by admin October 5, 2025

  • Taking chances
  • Shiba Inu’s technical state

On the charts, Shiba Inu is about to enter a pivotal point as bulls and bears wrestle over a possible breakout that might determine the next significant market direction. Following weeks of sideways consolidation and declining volatility, SHIB looks to be finally waking up.

Taking chances

On the daily time frame, a notable volume spike and a potential 100 EMA (orange line) breakthrough are forming. Bulls’ attempts to regain momentum have been consistently rejected by the 100-day exponential moving average, which has long served as dynamic resistance for SHIB. The price action, however, appears to be regaining strength this time.

SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingView

Near $0.0000120, the coin recently recovered from its ascending trendline and pushed upward toward the $0.0000135 zone, which is where the upper boundary of the symmetrical triangle and the 100 EMA converge. Volume, which is an important confirmation metric for breakouts, has also started to rise noticeably, suggesting that large-scale or institutional traders may be setting up for a directional move.

It is important to pay attention to this level of activity, because in the past, comparable volume surges have preceded significant upward rallies or violent rejections in SHIB’s price history. The months-long downward trend that has dominated since mid-summer could be put to an end if SHIB is able to decisively break above $0.0000135, which could lead to $0.0000140-$0.0000150.

Shiba Inu’s technical state

At roughly 55, the RSI is still moderate, indicating that more upside is possible before overbought conditions develop. That being said, there is no guarantee of a bull market. If the $0.0000125-$0.0000120 support range is not maintained, sentiment may swiftly turn bearish once more, pushing the token back toward the $0.0000115 region and potentially resuming the downward grind.

The fight for momentum is currently taking place in real time. Whether Shiba Inu’s most recent recovery attempt becomes the start of a bull run or just another false breakout in a tightening consolidation zone will be determined by the last few daily closes. Traders should be ready for increased volatility in the upcoming sessions, in either case.

Dogecoin Price Anomaly Forces Massive Long Liquidations in Four Hours

Dogecoin Price Anomaly Forces Massive Long Liquidations in Four Hours

by admin October 3, 2025

Dogecoin (DOGE), the king of the meme coins, has recorded downward movement despite the bullish momentum in the broader sector, with a focus on Bitcoin (BTC). In the last 24 hours, Dogecoin’s price has dropped by over 2.5%. This anomaly has triggered massive liquidation for DOGE bulls.

$1.56 million Dogecoin wiped out in just four hours

CoinGlass data shows that, in the last four hours, Dogecoin investors betting long on the meme coin have suffered 2,925% losses as the price failed to rise with the broader market. DOGE, valued at $1,560,000, was wiped out within this short period due to the meme coin’s poor performance.

Short traders were also affected by the price outlook. Bearish investors still recorded some losses, although mild. These traders lost $51,580 within the same time frame.

Notably, the meme coin failed to rise as it faced stiff resistance as it approached the $0.2620-$0.2640 zone. The price range is significant as Dogecoin, worth over $660 million, was offloaded at this level during the market downturn.

It has remained a pivotal point for the meme coin, as most holders go for profit each time DOGE climbs close to it. Dogecoin bulls might need to show more support to break the pattern.

As of press time, Dogecoin is changing hands at $0.2569, which represents a 0.62% decline in the last 24 hours. The meme coin earlier dipped to a low of $0.2509, testing the $0.25 support before recording a slight upward move.

Despite the price drop, market participants remain active as volume has stayed in the green zone. Trading volume is up by 2.75% to $3.17 billion, suggesting likely accumulation by investors taking advantage of the dip.

Could broader market rescue DOGE?

Interestingly, the Dogecoin price showed signs of promise about 48 hours earlier, as it confirmed a golden cross. Market participants and investors alike interpreted the bullish sign of the start of an “Uptober” rally. The current situation might not be a cause for worry if ecosystem bulls step up.

Worthy of mention is that investors had maintained a bullish outlook on the meme coin at the start of the month by committing about $3.96 billion to Dogecoin’s future derivatives market. Such a surge in open interest signals the level of confidence from members of the community.

The coming days will reveal how DOGE performs, particularly as Bitcoin is witnessing a rally on the broader market. The leading crypto asset might positively impact the king of meme coins.

Bitcoin Rockets 4% Amid Massive $442 Million Whale Move

by admin September 29, 2025

  • Bitcoin sees 140% volume surge as whales activate
  • BTC holds above $110,000

The Bitcoin ecosystem has witnessed renewed momentum as trading activities soared dramatically over the last day.

On Monday, September 29, on-chain tracking platform Whale Alert identified a massive Bitcoin transfer involving over 3,900 BTC, according to its latest X posts.

Further data revealed that the large BTC transfers were executed via unidentified wallet addresses in two separate transactions. Together, the transfers amounted to more than $442 million.

Notably, these transactions have raised eyebrows across the crypto community, coming at a time when investor sentiment suddenly shifted, driving crypto asset prices sharply upward.

Bitcoin sees 140% volume surge as whales activate

Following the move, Bitcoin not only posted strong daily gains, rebounding above the $113,000 mark, but also recorded a massive 140% surge in trading volume over the last 24 hours.

While the large transactions coincided with the market’s positive momentum, it appears that rising whale activity has contributed to the asset’s price recovery, though the mysterious nature of both transfers makes it difficult to confirm whether they were buy attempts or sell-offs.

Historically, large and unidentified BTC transfers like these are often traced to institutional redistribution activities or moves by high-net-worth investors.

With multiple significant BTC transactions spotted among firms such as BlackRock and Strategy today, it appears that whales are actively positioning ahead of what could be a major market event.

BTC holds above $110,000

After days of trading deep in the red and falling below $110,000, confidence seems to be returning as Bitcoin now holds well above that level, trading at $113,856 at the time of writing.

Source: CoinMarketCap

With trading volume rocketing 140% and price gains reaching 4%, analysts predict Bitcoin is heading toward resistance between $113,500 and $114,000, potentially setting the stage for a strong start to the new month.

Check out our Live Bitcoin Hyper Updates for September 29, 2025!

In 2010, Bitcoin was worth a few cents. One year later, it hit $20. In six years, it was $17,000, and now it’s sitting at over $100K, after hitting an ATH of $123K in July.

Historically, if you’d invested in Bitcoin at launch, you’d have an ROI of 188,643,000%. The likes of Mastercard, JP Morgan, and scores of S&P 500 companies are buying Bitcoin in droves. There’s never been anything like Bitcoin before, and investors are waking up to that reality.

However, Bitcoin is getting old for modern standards. No dApps, no smart contracts, and almost non-existent DeFi scalability. It needs an upgrade. And that’s what Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is here to do with Layer-2 technology.

Click to learn more about Bitcoin Hyper

Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is a crypto project planning to launch the fastest Layer-2 chain for Bitcoin. Its goal – to bring Bitcoin’s blockchain to modern standards. This means compatibility with dApps, smart contracts, and seamless DeFi programmability for developers.

The L2 will run on a Canonical Bridge, combined with the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), for native compatibility with Solana. You’ll be able to build token programs, LP logic, oracles, games, NFT infrastructure, DAOs, and much more. All without reinventing the wheel.

To engage with the L2, you’ll deposit $BTC to a designated address monitored by the Canonical Bridge. The Relay Program verifies the details, and then mints an equivalent number of wrapped $BTC on the L2. You can also withdraw your original $BTC at any time.

If you’re looking for the newest insights on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Hyper, you’re in the right place.

HOW TO BUY $HYPER

Today’s Bitcoin Technical Analysis

Sunday proved very fruitful for Bitcoin as it gained nearly 2.29%, recovering all the losses from the massive 3.8% dump we saw on Thursday.

So far today, the token hasn’t put up any decisive action, which is perhaps a good sign given that it’s coming off a very bullish day yesterday. Bitcoin pausing here could suggest it’s building momentum to rise higher.

Another reason for optimism is that the token has reclaimed its 100 EMA on the daily chart. The last time this happened – in early September – Bitcoin rose another 6% after reclaiming the 100 EMA.

A similar move this time would put the token near the $120K level, well above the key $117K resistance. However, to get there, Bitcoin would first have to break through that $117K barrier, which triggered its last two downward shifts: one in late August and the other just two weeks ago.

On the weekly chart, things look even more positive. Bitcoin closed last week with a strong rejection candle on the 0.5 Fibonacci level – a classic continuation signal.

In a broader bullish market, this usually suggests the correction phase is complete. With this rejection in place, there’s now a high chance Bitcoin continues higher, with the next target being the Fibonacci high, which also happens to align with its all-time high.

Analyst Predicts a $150K Bitcoin Pump Before Bears Set in, Fueling Bitcoin Hyper’s $18.7M

September 29, 2025 • 10:00 UTC

Crypto analyst EGRAG CRYPTO predicts a $150K-$175K Bitcoin pump before the next bear phase.

As he points it out, the bull momentum remains so long as $BTC holds above $103K.

This prediction comes just as whales start stacking $BTC, with over 30,000 Bitcoins purchased recently.

Bitcoin is already up 2.22% over the last 24 hours and is now testing the $112K barrier, which could kickstart the next bull run.

Bitcoin Hyper’s ($HYPER) $18.7M also promises to make it big thanks to the increased investor participation.

As Bitcoin’s Layer 2 solution, Hyper promises faster and cheaper Bitcoin transactions, leading to improved scalability and institutional support.

Bitcoin Major Corrections Coming Before Its Biggest ATH, With Bitcoin Hyper Seeing Massive Gains

September 29, 2025 • 10:00 UTC

Bitcoin will see multiple big corrections before its biggest ATH, says market analyst Jordi Visser in an interview with Anthony Pompliano.

Visser compares Bitcoin to Nvidia, saying:

I just want to remind people that Nvidia is up over 1,000% since ChatGPT’s launch. During that time period, which is less than three years, you’ve had five corrections of 20% or more in Nvidia before it went back up to all-time highs. Bitcoin’s going to do the same thing..

—Jordi Visser, Anthony Pompliano Interview

The statement brings more trust into the Bitcoin ecosystem and pushes Bitcoin Hyper’s ($HYPER) $18.8M presale to new heights.

As Bitcoin’s Layer 2 upgrade, Hyper will contribute to Bitcoin’s long-term success by promising faster and cheaper transactions for historic scalability and performance.

Whales gobble up this token with massive presale staking APR

by admin September 27, 2025

Disclosure: This article does not represent investment advice. The content and materials featured on this page are for educational purposes only.

Digitap raises $250k in days, offering massive staking APR and eyeing 100x potential.

Summary

  • XRP, LINK dip, but Digitap surges past $250k funding, offering masssive APR in presale staking.
  • Digitap blends DeFi and TradFi, with 5-year team lock, cashback rewards, and 124% staking APR.
  • With analysts eyeing 100x gains, Digitap is among 2025’s most hyped crypto presales.

It has been a stormy week, marked by a significant dip in the XRP price and the LINK price retesting lower levels. However, while top altcoins erased previous gains, Digitap (TAP) continues to soar. Surpassing $250,000 in funding in just a few days since launch, it is considered among the best crypto presales with 100x potential. Further driving whales’ interest is the 100% staking APR in presale.

XRP Price tumbles by 10% as LINK retests

Following a broader market downtrend, the XRP price dropped by 10% on its weekly chart to $2.7. Initially trading above the $3 mark, rising selling pressure sparked a significant downswing, with bears anticipating further decline.

Amid the latest bears’ rampage, the LINK price nosedived. The oracle-based altcoin slid by 17% over the past seven days, currently hovering around $20. Further, according to CoinMarketCap, it is down 15% on its monthly chart, erasing previous gains.

Digitap: A top crypto presale of 2025 amid 100x forecasts?

Digitap is considered one of the best crypto presales of 2025 for several reasons. First, it is fundamentally solid, representing the best of the worlds of traditional finance and decentralized finance. Additionally, there are several benefits to holding, including staking, cashback rewards, and governance.

Besides analysts’ 100x forecasts, whales have been paying significant attention to its staking model. In addition to buying the token at $0.0125 (its lowest price) in the first presale round, investors can stake them for higher ROIs, earning up to 124% in APR.

Moreover, the team’s tokens will be locked for five years, demonstrating long-term commitment. Further contributing to the growing demand is Digitap’s combination of traditional banks’ familiarity with blockchain’s global speed, positioning it among the best crypto coins to invest in.

XRP and LINK slip, but Digitap explodes

While the XRP price and LINK price are in downtrends, Digitap is soaring high. Early funding is breaking records, highlighting significant investor interest. By combining DeFi and TradFi alongside its significant staking reward, it is poised for massive growth post-launch.

SoftBank, Ark May Back Stablecoin Giant Tether in Massive Funding Round: Report

by admin September 27, 2025

In brief

  • Tether is reportedly seeking up to $15-20 billion for a 3% stake in its firm.
  • Ark Invest and Softbank are reportedly in discussions to participate in the raise.
  • The raise would value the firm at around $500 billion, making it one of the largest private companies in the world.

Tech investors SoftBank Group and Ark Investment are among the firms discussing participation in a major Tether fundraise that could  value the stablecoin issuer at $500 billion, according to a Friday Bloomberg report.

The two groups’ interest follows three days after news that El Salvador-based Tether was looking to raise $15-20 billion for a 3% equity stake. Bloomberg first reported this story, citing two unnamed sources, although another source said the amount could be less.

The initiative could help push Tether deeper into mainstream finance, the report said.

At $500 billion, Tether would rank among the world’s largest private companies, putting it in the same conversation as artificial intelligence firm OpenAI and Elon Musk’s space exploration and transportation firm, SpaceX, which received similar valuations.

Tether, which issues the world’s largest stablecoin—USDT—plan’s to further expand its footprint, anticipating the debut of a new U.S. regulated stablecoin—USAT—by the end of the year.

Softbank is a Japan-based multinational investment company. Ark is a U.S.-based asset manager. Both have been active in the crypto space.

The firm has been creating more of a presence in the United States since the election of U.S. President Donald Trump last year, recently adding former White House crypto advisor Bo Hines as a strategic advisor. It also maintains a close relationship with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, whose previous firm Cantor Fitzgerald is advising Tether in its fundraising talks and also custodies all its assets, according to the Bloomberg report.

Tether and stablecoins have been at the forefront of crypto conversation for the bulk of this year, highlighted by the U.S.’s passage of the GENIUS Act, a regulatory framework for the trading and issuance of the fiat-backed tokens.

Its USDT stablecoin sits at a $173 billion market cap, making it the third largest crypto asset by market cap at the time of writing and more than double the market cap of Circle’s USDC stablecoin.

Stablecoins as a whole have added more than $122 billion in market cap since this time last year to reach a total of nearly $300 billion, according to data from DeFi Llama. Earlier this year, U.K. bank Standard Chartered predicted that the market could reach $750 billion by the end of 2026.

Decrypt reached out to Tether for comment.

Microsoft is resorting to laser etching AI-designed cooling channels directly into data center chips to tame their massive heat

by admin September 24, 2025

Introducing microfluidic cooling: a breakthrough in chip cooling technology – YouTube

Watch On

If you think the power consumption of today’s gaming graphics cards is bad, it’s nothing compared to how energy the massive processors in AI and data systems use. All that power ends up as heat, resulting in chip cooling being a serious challenge. Microsoft reckons it has a great solution, though, and it’s all about getting water into the processors themselves.

The most complex direct-die, liquid cooling loops you’ll see in a gaming PC all involve using a chamber that mounts on top of the CPU. At no point does the coolant ever touch the chip directly. In a recently published blog, Microsoft explains how it has developed a system that does precisely that.

By etching the surface of the processor die with an intricate pattern of tiny channels, water can then be pumped directly into the silicon itself, albeit to a very shallow depth.

Related articles

The keyword to describe this is microfluidics, a technology that’s been around for many decades, and if the history of consumer tech is anything to go by, it’ll be a phrase plastered across every CPU cooler within a couple of years (though not actually do anything).

This might all just seem like Microsoft is cutting a few grooves into the chip and having water to flow through it, but it’s far more complicated than that. For a start, the channels themselves are no wider than a human hair, and they’re not just simple lines either. Microsoft employed the services of Swiss firm Corintis, which used AI to determine the best pattern for maximum heat transfer.

The end result is a network of microchannels that genuinely look organic, though at first glance, you’d be forgiven for thinking the complex patterns were just manufacturing defects. It certainly looks super cool (pun very much intended).

Microsoft claims the tech is up to three times more effective at removing heat from a massive AI GPU than a traditional cold plate (aka waterblock), citing a 65% reduction in the maximum temperature rise of the silicon.

Keep up to date with the most important stories and the best deals, as picked by the PC Gamer team.

Since all the coolant transfer apparatus doesn’t need to be right on top of the microchannels, the system can also be applied to stacked chips, with each one etched before mounting. This way, each die within the stack is cooled individually, meaning they can operate closer to their maximum specifications than with a normal cold plate.

Take AMD’s X3D processors, for example. These all have one stacked chip underneath the heatsink: a Core Complex Die (CCD) bonded to a 3D V-Cache die. Each one acts as a thermal barrier to the other, though the CCD does generate much more heat than the cache die. If these could be both cooled via microfluidics, you’d be able to operate them both at higher clock speeds.

Of course, such complex tech isn’t cheap to develop or implement, and the likelihood of it ever appearing at the consumer level is very slim. But I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody takes an RTX 5090, rips off the heatsink, and swaps it for a homebrewed microfluidic cooler.

There again, if ramping up power consumption is the only way AMD, Intel, and Nvidia can keep improving chip performance, perhaps we might see etched processors and direct-die cooling being standard fare in our gaming PCs. After all, it wasn’t that long ago when heatpipes and vapour chambers were phrases never to be uttered by a PC component manufacturer, but now they’re in coolers of every kind.

“It could be catastrophic to the city” – US Secret Service takes down massive million-dollar network of SIM cards it says was capable of taking down comms across New York

by admin September 24, 2025

  • A massive communications network was uncovered in New York
  • The network is made of 300 servers containing 100,000 SIM cards
  • Only part of the network was deployed, with more equipment discovered ready to be added to the network

The US Secret Service has uncovered and dismantled a telecommunications network in New York which may have been used by organized criminals to communicate with foreign state-sponsored actors.

The enormous network was made up of over 300 servers that housed a combined 100,000 SIM cards, and allegedly had the potential to disrupt phone networks across the tristate area and facilitate encrypted communications.

The United Nations General Assembly is currently ongoing in New York, and the Secret Service has suggested the network could have been used “to conduct multiple telecommunications-related threats directed towards senior U.S. government officials.”

The 300 co-located servers were all within 35 miles of the United Nations and could have been involved in “disabling cell phone towers, enabling denial of services attacks and facilitating anonymous, encrypted communication between potential threat actors and criminal enterprises.”

An investigation is currently ongoing and is being conducted by the Secret Service’s new Advanced Threat Interdiction Unit, which is “dedicated to disrupting the most significant and imminent threats to our protectees.”

While the network included 100,000 active SIM cards being used in encrypted communications, the Secret Service also said that there were many more waiting to be deployed.

Matt McCool, special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s New York field office said, “It can’t be understated what this system is capable of doing. It can take down cell towers, so then no longer can people communicate, right? … You can’t text message, you can’t use your cellphone. And if you coupled that with some sort of other event associated with [the UN general assembly], you know, use your imagination there – it could be catastrophic to the city.”

The Secret Service has been investigating threats against senior US officials from telecommunications networks, which led to the discovery of the SIM cache network.

Multiple US officials have been targeted in impersonation and ‘smishing’ attacks in recent months.

The SIM cards will be analyzed for phone calls and text messages, with the network capable of sending upwards of 30 million messages in a single minute, McCool said, stating the network was highly organized and would have cost millions of dollars to construct.

“The potential for disruption to our country’s telecommunications posed by this network of devices cannot be overstated,” added Sean Curran, director of the Secret Service.

“The U.S. Secret Service’s protective mission is all about prevention, and this investigation makes it clear to potential bad actors that imminent threats to our protectees will be immediately investigated, tracked down and dismantled.”

Viral dog walker who wears massive dachshund outfit explains why he does it

by admin September 24, 2025

A man who has gone viral for watching his dachshund while he wears an inflatable sausage dog costume has explained why he does it.

Dog videos have long been one of the internet’s favorite genres, especially when it comes to dachshunds. The mischievous sausage dogs are always up to something and can be the source of big joy.

However, Rich Luchford – who is known as Undercover Daschund on social media – has taken things up a level. The Canadian, who is based in Whitby, Oshawa, has been going viral for walking his dog, Mia, while wearing an inflatable dachshund costume.

Article continues after ad

Luchford regularly posts videos from his own perspective, but is regularly snapped by passersby as well, leading to plenty of laughs.

The roofer admitted that he wasn’t expecting it to “blow up to something like this,” but is just trying to spread some joy during his dog walks.

“People kind of look at me like ‘what is this?’ and other people are smiling and I point at them and say that’s what it’s all about, that smile,” he told CTV News. “I’ve had people scream, stop, say ‘oh my gosh!’ and then drive off.”

Luchford was even recognized by the mayor of Whitby for “bringing cheer and happiness to the community.”

It’s not something he just does on special occasions, either, as his daily dog walks mean wearing the suit. He also wants to start a ‘Wiener Dog Wednesday’ event where other dachshund owners can walk with him. However, they don’t have to wear costumes as well.

Luchford’s wife and daughter have also spoken about getting a second dog. Of course, it would be a dachshund.

“If I could make some money at this and quit my job and stay home with two dachshunds, I will definitely get two dachshunds,” he added.

He also has goals of appearing at a Toronto Blue Jays game with Mia, so that she can run the bases.

Creepshow 4K Steelbook And New Creepshow 2 Limited Edition Get Massive Price Cuts

by admin September 22, 2025

Amazon has several scary good deals on the horror-comedy anthology franchise Creepshow, including steep discounts on two exciting upcoming releases. Creepshow 2’s Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray is on sale for $33 (was $50) ahead of its September 30 launch. The first printing of Arrow Films’ 4K restoration comes with numerous exclusive bonuses, including a comic book adaptation of an unpublished Stephen King short story. You can pair the 4K edition of the sequel with last year’s Creepshow Limited Edition Steelbook, which is discounted to only $23 (was $40)–by far the lowest price yet.

Creepshow fans can also save big on the upcoming Blu-ray box set of the complete four-season run of Shudder’s anthology series. Preorders for the Creepshow: Complete Series Collector’s Edition have dropped to $68.47 (was $100) at Amazon and Walmart. Slated for November 11, the box set leans into the franchise’s roots and inspirations with a CRT TV display box containing comic book-inspired disc cases. It looks like an awesome collectible for Creepshow fans.

Creepshow: Complete Series (Blu-ray)

As shown above, the CRT TV’s display clearly can switch between a red background with the series logo and a picture of The Creep, but it’s unclear how this mechanism works. In any case, it’s one of the cooler display boxes we’ve seen this year. All four seasons have their own case modeled after the the in-universe Creepshow comics and Stephen King’s graphic novel. You’ll also get a real comic book based on “Skeletons in the Closet,” which is one of the vignettes in Season 3, Episode 2.

If you love Creepshow, you’ve come to the right place. Along with details on the two upcoming releases, we put together lists of Creepshow Blu-rays, making-of books, and the ongoing comic book anthology series. So make sure to creep farther down for some great Creepshow deals–unless you’d rather look for yourself, in which case you can check out the Amazon hubs we created: Creepshow Blu-rays | Creepshow books and comics.

$68.47 (was $100) | Releases November 11

Creepshow debuted on Shudder in 2019 and quickly became one of the horror streamer’s marquee original series. It was undoubtedly a huge subscription seller for Shudder, especially Season 1 was the best take on the franchise since the original movie.

The anthology series ran for four seasons and 25 episodes, including two TV specials, before ending in 2023. Episodes of Creepshow include a pair of distinct vignettes, roughly 20-25 minutes each.

Franchise creators Stephen King and George A. Romero weren’t involved with the production, but a few episodes are based on King’s short stories, including the show’s very first vignette “Gray Matter,” adapted from a story in King’s excellent collection Night Shift. The 2020 Halloween special adapted “Survivor Type” from Skeleton Crew. The back half of the special was based on “Twittering from the Circus of the Dead” from the story collection Full Throttle by Joe Hill, who also happens to be King’s eldest son.

The 9-disc box set has a total runtime of roughly 18 hours. All 23 episodes and the two specials are displayed in 1080p resolution and support DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Bonus features include cast and crew interviews, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and photo galleries.

If you’re interested in the behind-the-scenes content, you should also check out Shudder’s Creepshow: From Script to Scream, a 240-page coffee-table book with a foreword by Stephen King. The hardcover book is on sale for $35 (was $50) at Amazon.

$33 (was $50) | Releases September 30

Creepshow 2’s Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray was restored from the original camera negative with HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10) and three audio formats: 5.1 DTS-HD, stereo, and lossless monaural.

Arrow Video originally created a 2K restoration that released as Creepshow 2: Special Edition back in 2016 on 1080p Blu-ray. The on-disc special features for the 4K release largely mirror the Special Edition. The reversible sleeve and cover art by Mike Saputo matches the 2016 release, too.

Just like the first printing of the 1080p Blu-ray, the 4K release includes two limited-edition booklets. These are no longer included with the standard Blu-ray and were limited to 3,000 units, but now you have another chance. For reference, the first printing has a red sleeve, but after it sells out, it’ll likely switch to a blue sleeve like the Blu-ray edition.

Most notably, you’ll get a booklet with the comic adaptation of “Pinfall,” one of the two stories that were cut from the film. The story was written by Stephen King and adapted into a script by George Romero. Jason Mayoh adapted the story into a comic for the Blu-ray release in 2016. Along with the comic booklet, you’ll get an illustrated booklet with commentary from Michael Blyth.

“Pinfall” has never been published as a short story or filmed, so this is the only way to experience one of Stephen King’s unpublished stories.

Creepshow 2 4K Limited Edition Bonuses

  • “Pinfall” comic booklet (adaptation of unpublished King story)
  • Illustrated booklet with commentary on the film
  • Collector’s sleeve with original artwork and reversible cover art
  • Featurettes, audio commentaries, and interviews

A full list of on-disc special features can be found at the end of this article. For a deep dive on the sequel, check out The Making of Creepshow 2, a 320-page account of the film’s production based on production documents and author Lee Karr’s conversations with cast and crew.

$23 (was $40) | All-time low

Though you can watch Creepshow 2 without watching the original, the 1982 anthology is a more well-rounded collection of horror-comedy stories, so it doesn’t really make sense to skip it. Plus, it’s already available on 4K Blu-ray. A Collector’s Edition released in 2023, and the awesome Steelbook Edition shown above arrived just in time for Halloween last year. The Limited Edition Steelbook is on sale for only $23 (was $40), which is actually cheaper than the standard 4K Blu-ray edition by a few bucks.

Both editions include 4K Blu-ray and standard 1080p Blu-rays and the same special features. The film was remastered in 4K using the original camera negatives and supports HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10), Dolby Atmos audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0. Special features include three different audio commentary tracks, a roundtable on the making of the anthology, interviews, and a whole bunch more. You can check out the full list at the bottom of this article.

Creepshow 2 Limited Edition (Arrow Video)

Creepshow and its numerous follow-ups blend horror and comedy while paying homage to classic comics like Tales from the Crypt and The Haunt of Fear. Directed by George Romero, the 1982 original is an anthology film with five distinct vignettes. Stories include a murdered man rising from the dead, a mysterious meteor that lands on a remote farm, and a cockroach army that’s hunting a man with Entomophobia.

Stephen King made his screenwriting debut with Creepshow, and two of the five tales were adapted from his short fiction. Creepshow wears its comic book influences on its sleeve, and King adapted the film into a graphic novel the same year the movie released.

Creepshow 2’s screenplay was written by Romero and directed by the original film’s cinematographer Michael Gornick. Though originally planned to mirror its predecessor with five vignettes, only three made it into the movie: “Old Chief Wood’nhead,” “The Raft,” and “The Hitch-hiker.” All three are based on King’s short stories, but “The Raft” is the only one that has been published and collected in the author’s heralded collection Skeleton Crew.

“Cat from Hell,” the other King story that was cut from Creepshow 2, was included in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie in 1990. The spin-off film was based on a TV series created by Romero in 1983. Given the timing, it should come as no surprise that Tales from the Darkside–also a horror-comedy anthology–existed because of Creepshow’s unexpected box office success. Tales from the Darkside: The Complete Series is available on DVD for $27.90.

Creepshow franchise 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases

Beyond the collectible editions, the first two Creepshow anthologies are available for $10-$12 each on standard Blu-ray. The Creepshow franchise technically has three film anthologies, but the 2006 straight-to-home-video Creepshow 3 is one that many fans want to forget exists at all (it’s quite bad). If you want to be reminded of it, a region-free Blu-ray edition of Creepshow 3 is $22 at Walmart. All three films are collected in a DVD box set for $25.

Another box set option is the King of Horror 8-Film Collection on Blu-ray or DVD. This one only includes the first Creepshow movie, but you’ll also get The Shining, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, the 1990 It miniseries, and more. King of Horror’s Blu-ray edition is only $36.30 (was $60) at Amazon.

Creepshow Movies

All four seasons of Shudder’s anthology series are already available on Blu-ray and DVD. The first season is currently priced close to $30, but Seasons 2-4 are up for grabs for under $15 each.

Tales from the Darkside / Tales from the Crypt

If you like the horror-comedy anthology structure, you should definitely check out Tales from the Darkside and Tales from the Crypt.

Creepshow by Stephen King (1982) | Creepshow Deluxe Edition Book One (2024)

Shudder’s series also led to the revival of Creepshow in print. Skybound and Image Comics have published 20 Creepshow comics since 2022, and 15 of them have been collected in paperback volumes. Each volume has five standalone comics written and illustrated by a rotating group of big names in the industry, including Garth Ennis and Joe Hill. As a child, Hill appeared in the prologue and epilogue of the original Creepshow film, and over 40 years later he wrote an official Creepshow comic called Joe Hill’s Wolverton Station.

The first issue in Volume 4 was published September 17. Volume 4 #2 releases October 22, and #3 is scheduled for November 19.

If you want to catch up on the anthology series, the first three volumes are available in trade paperback for $10-$15 each. Volume 3 was published in April, and Volume 4’s paperback edition is slated for April 14, 2026. Last holiday season, Image Comics published a hardcover Deluxe Edition compiling the first two volumes. Amazon has Creepshow Deluxe Edition for $21 (was $40), which is almost exactly the same price as the two paperback editions combined.

Joe Hill’s Creepshow comic and three others are one-shots that aren’t included in the collected volumes, but you can buy Kindle digital editions for a couple bucks each or collected volumes for $8-$12. All 20 Creepshow comics released publsihed so far are available in a Kindle bundle for $43.80. But before reading the new series, we’d highly recommend Stephen King’s original graphic novel, which is available in paperback for only $15 (was $20) at Amazon.
