SEC Chairman Marks Crypto as ‘Top Priority’, Big XRP News Ahead?

by admin September 29, 2025

  • What’s coming for XRP?
  • Is $10 XRP realistic?

On Monday, September 29, Paul Atkins, Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), publicly named crypto as a top priority for the agency during a brief interview with renowned American journalist Eleanor Terrett.

Paul’s statement has sparked fresh excitement across the crypto community as it aligns with growing speculation that the broader crypto market, with XRP at the center of attention, may be gearing up for major developments in the coming month.

What’s coming for XRP?

Atkins’ remarks came just hours after Eleanor Terrett broke the news that the SEC had asked issuers of XRP, Solana, Cardano, and Dogecoin ETFs to withdraw their pending 19b-4 filings.

While some commentators initially viewed the move as a setback for the crypto community, Terrett clarified that the opposite is true — the request is meant to speed up the approval process for these ETFs.

The withdrawal requests are consistent with the SEC’s recent approval of generic listing standards for all crypto ETFs. These new standards eliminate the need for issuers to submit individual 19b-4 forms. Instead, only an S-1 filing will be required, streamlining the process and paving the way for faster approvals.

With more than a dozen investment funds already filing for an XRP ETF and deadlines starting this week, the XRP community is increasingly optimistic that the altcoin could see a major breakout as early as October.

Is $10 XRP realistic?

Although XRP has struggled repeatedly to break through the $3.60 resistance level, market watchers remain confident that October could be the month when the token finally clears that barrier.

With the first XRP ETF expected to launch in October, community sentiment has shifted toward the possibility that XRP may soon reach price levels once thought “unrealistic.”

Industry experts predict that demand from institutional funds, combined with Ripple’s ongoing partnerships, could push XRP toward the $5–$7 range in the short term, while setting the stage for a long-term surge toward $10.

Cardano Marks 8 Years: The Blockchain Is Still Heating Up With Activity And Development

by admin September 24, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

During a period of notable celebration and excitement in the broader Cardano community, the major blockchain is showcasing robust momentum and development. With the blockchain sector heating up, Cardano’s on-chain activity and investor engagement are persistently growing.

8 Years Later, Cardano Continues To Thrive

In a significant development, the Cardano blockchain is marking its 8th anniversary of existence, and the network continues to thrive. Despite being around for almost a decade, the network is showing signs of continued energy and expansion.

Based on research, the network has evolved over time into a thriving ecosystem of decentralized apps, smart contracts, and an increasingly engaged community. As it commemorates this milestone, Cardano keeps pushing the envelope in terms of adoption, governance, and scalability.

Fresh developments in the blockchain’s performance indicate that it is still in its infancy and has a long way to go. According to Dave, the network has been relentless in its 8 years of existence, with peer-reviewed innovation, building a platform defined by its unparalleled reliability and security.

Cardano’s progress has been impressive, going from a visionary whitepaper to a vibrant global ecosystem. Furthermore, Dave highlighted that the foundation is more solid than ever, expressing his confidence in the blockchain witnessing its best year in the near term.

Presently, the blockchain is experiencing an explosive surge in activity, with the number of transactions conducted on mainnet skyrocketing to record levels. This massive growth in transaction count, which highlights increasing adoption and utility, was reported by TapTools on the social media platform X.

Data shared by TapTools shows that the overall number of transactions executed on the mainnet has surpassed 114 million. Interestingly, these massive transfers have a success rate of 0.73 TPS (Transactions Per Second).

Such a huge transaction count marks the heightened engagement across DeFi, staking, and real-world applications building on the blockchain. With developer trust in the platform and consumer demand growing rapidly, the development could position the network as a major player in the next wave of blockchain expansion.

A Climb In Global Sentiment Hierarchy

According to a report from Mintern, Cardano has climbed up the global charts in community sentiment. This move up reinforces its standing as one of the blockchain ecosystems that receives the most active support and attention.

After moving up the ranks, potentially due to its heightened engagement, the network is now positioned at the 7th spot in global community sentiment. In addition, ADA has one of the most robust and upbeat communities among the Top 10 cryptocurrencies. Thus, the blockchain is showing its ability to stay relevant in a landscape that is becoming highly competitive.

At the time of writing, ADA was trading at $0.81, demonstrating a more than 7% decline in the past week. CoinMarketCap data shows that its trading volume has also fallen by over 26% in the past day, indicating growing bearish investor action.

WWE Wrestlepalooza grades: Did Rhodes-McIntyre, Cena-Lesnar get above-average marks?

He is also an NAACP Image Award-nominated filmmaker as a producer for the animated short film “Bridges” in 2024.

The era of WWE Premium Live Events (PLEs) on ESPN Unlimited kicked off with Wrestlepalooza from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday.

The seventh singles meeting between John Cena and Brock Lesnar started off the night, and it would be “The Beast Incarnate” who would dominate and pin his rival, Cena, in stunning fashion. A new Women’s World Champion was crowned, as Stephanie Vaquer defeated Iyo Sky in an excellent showdown.

The card also featured the return of former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee after a decade away from the ring. She joined her husband, CM Punk, in a mixed tag team match against World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and his wife, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes headlined the event by putting his title on the line in a surprisingly short outing against Drew McIntyre.

Editor’s Picks

After each PLE, we assess the quality of each wrestling match based on effective storytelling, in-ring performance and overall entertainment. We also grade the event as a whole.

Did Wrestlepalooza deliver on its promise of epic moments?

Women’s World Championship: Iyo Sky vs. Stephanie Vaquer

play

0:38

Stephanie Vaquer receives standing ovation after winning title

Stephanie Vaquer defeats Iyo Sky to become the new champion and receives a big standing ovation.

Result: Vaquer def. Sky by pinfall
Grade: B+

This was exceptional work from two of the best women’s wrestlers in WWE. The first half found Vaquer and Sky engaged in a chess match in which counters reigned supreme. However, the later stages of the match saw Vaquer focus on working over Sky’s knee, giving her an edge when she needed it most. Vaquer couldn’t keep Sky down after countering an Over The Moonsault and hitting the SVB. Sky swung the pendulum in her favor with a bevy of knee strikes and a beautiful avalanche Spanish Fly. But her knee slowed her down on her second attempt at an Over The Moonsault, which Vaquer rolled out of the way of and headed to the top rope to hit a Spinal Tap for the finish. This was a match you should go out of your way to see.

Tag team match: The Usos vs. The Vision

play

0:43

The Vision defeat Jimmy and Jey Uso

Bron Breakker spears Jimmy and Jey Uso through a table, then Bronson Reed hits a Tsunami to pin Jey Uso for the win.

Result: The Vision def. The Usos by pinfall
Grade: C

The first half of the match was sluggish in action, as the focus primarily was on what liberties LA Knight, the special guest referee, would extend to both teams. Surprisingly, he allowed both teams to introduce chairs and tables into the match. The action picked up after a near fall following a 1-D from The Usos. Both teams landed a series of spears before Jey Uso hit the Uso Splash for a near fall on Bron Breakker. Somehow, Jey was busted open after hitting both Bronson Reed and Breakker with chair shots, which led to an awkward delay before Breakker speared Jey. Breakker then speared both Usos through a table and Reed followed with a Tsunami to seal the victory for The Vision. The slow early pace appeared to be heading toward a strong finish before Jey was busted open, which led to a disjointed finishing stretch. This wasn’t a bad match, but The Usos have certainly had better outings.

Mixed tag team match: CM Punk and AJ Lee vs. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch

play

0:44

AJ Lee, husband CM Punk come out victorious in mixed tag team match

AJ Lee and her husband CM Punk come out with a hard-fought victory over Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

Result: Punk and Lee def. Rollins and Lynch by submission
Grade: C

Let’s be clear: Mixed tag matches are incredibly difficult to pull off from a pure wrestling standpoint and are more about entertainment than anything else. This one was no different. The first half was all about Rollins and Lynch making sure Lee wasn’t tagged into the match. That all changed when Rollins skipped his way into a GTS from Punk, who finally tagged his wife in. Lee shook off a decade of ring rust and went to work. There was a lot of chaos and ridiculousness that followed. We had everything from stereo finisher attempts to Lynch and Punk exchanging Sharpshooters. The end came after a dangerous spot in which Lynch threw Lee off of one announcers’ table into Punk and Rollins on the other table, which awkwardly crumbled beneath them. Lee made her way back to the ring and trapped Lynch in her Black Widow finisher to get the submission. The match’s nearly 30-minute run time was a bit too long, but it was great to see Lee back in action. Punk and Rollins did what they had to do to keep things chugging along. The next step has to be Lee challenging Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

play

0:45

Cody Rhodes retains his WWE Championship

Cody Rhodes defeats Drew McIntyre to retain his WWE Championship.

Result: Rhodes def. McIntyre by pinfall
Grade: C

This was a surprisingly short main event at just over 15 minutes, and it never truly had time to get out of first gear. The story of the match was Rhodes dealing with a head injury caused by a McIntyre Claymore kick on SmackDown the evening before. Rhodes stumbled out of the blocks and was seemingly compromised. However, the ill effects didn’t have a bearing on the conclusion of the match. It actually would be McIntyre injuring his leg on the announcers’ table after a missed Claymore kick that would end up taking the match to its finish. McIntyre’s injured leg gave out on him when he went for a Claymore kick, opening the door for Rhodes to hit the Cross Rhodes finisher for the win. This felt more like a main event of SmackDown than the headliner of a PLE.

Singles match: John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar

play

0:37

Brock Lesnar defeats John Cena with a series of F5s

Brock Lesnar takes down John Cena in the opening match of Wrestlepalooza with a series of F5s.

Result: Lesnar def. Cena by pinfall
Grade: C-

Cena and Lesnar’s seventh WWE singles encounter felt more like a prelude to their next encounter than an actual match. It was a brief and dominant win for Lesnar, which served to extend this rivalry for at least one more PLE. The match itself wasn’t much of a match. Lesnar dominated early, reintroducing Cena to Suplex City. Cena regained the momentum and swiftly hit Lesnar with a trio of Attitude Adjustments. Unfortunately, he couldn’t keep Lesnar down and went for a Five-Knuckle Shuffle, which The Beast intercepted. He leveled Cena with six F-5s to pick up the dominant win. There were about six moves in the 9-minute match. It’s pretty much what you would expect out of Lesnar.

WWE Wrestlepalooza Final Grade: C

The excellent Vaquer vs. Sky match saved this show from being truly average. It was a phenomenal display inside the squared circle. Everything else was either underwhelming (the short Rhodes-McIntyre match) or a setup for a future match (Lesnar dominating Cena). For a card that promised to have epic moments, it fell a little short of expectations.

XRP Marks Another Win As SEC Approves Grayscale’s GDLC ETF

by admin September 19, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

The cryptocurrency industry and the XRP market have scored a major win, with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approving Grayscale’s Digital Large Cap Fund, known as GDLC, for uplisting as an Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF). The timing of this approval has sparked renewed optimism among investors, particularly as XRP cements its position in a rapidly evolving crypto ETF landscape.

XRP Gains Legitimacy Through Grayscale’s GDLC ETF

On September 18, Grayscale Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Mintzberg announced via X social media that the Grayscale Digital Large Cap Fund has been approved for trading under the SEC’s Generic Listing Standards. The move represents a watershed moment, as it will be the first multi-crypto asset ETP in the US market.

The product, now renamed the “Grayscale CoinDesk Crypto 5 ETF,” will provide investors with exposure to a diversified basket of five major digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Cardano. For XRP holders, this development is particularly significant, as it positions the cryptocurrency at the forefront of institutional-grade investment products.

Grayscale’s move ensures that XRP will share the same investment vehicle as the two largest cryptocurrencies, BTC and ETH, placing it firmly within the category of assets gaining mainstream recognition and adoption. This also marks a sharp turnaround from just a few years ago, when XRP’s regulatory uncertainty, stemming from the previous SEC lawsuit, had caused several crypto exchanges and platforms to delist the token.

Notably, Mintzberg highlighted the SEC Crypto Task Force’s role in driving the much-needed clarity for the industry, emphasizing that regulatory collaboration is accelerating the transition of digital assets into traditional finance. For XRP, this could mean greater visibility, more liquidity, and easier access for institutional investors who prefer ETF exposure over direct token purchases.

XRP ETF To Fuel Bull Flag Breakout To $15

According to crypto expert Zenia, XRP has confirmed a Bull Flag breakout, setting the stage for a short-term move toward $5.80. Beyond that, the analyst notes a larger pattern that stretches back to 2024, suggesting that XRP could target $15, representing a potential gain of more than 400% from its current levels.

The weekly chart shows XRP steadily recovering from its previous consolidation phase, with bullish candles pushing above $3.10 and momentum indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) holding strong without showing signs of exhaustion. Zenia has highlighted that the first target at $5.8 serves as the immediate resistance, while the second target at $15 represents the more ambitious upside projection tied to the Bull Flag structure.

Source: Chart from Zenia on X

With ETF exposure now in play, XRP could finally break free from the cycle of stalled rallies that have defined past bull markets. Zenia also notes that XRP’s partnerships with global financial institutions, such as DBS Group and Franklin Templeton, are creating real-world utility to complement its bullish technical setup.

Starfield marks two year anniversary with a secret message

by admin September 7, 2025

Bethesda has hidden a secret message in a social media post ostensibly marking Starfield’s second anniversary.

It’s only 12 seconds long, and starts pretty much as you’d expect, but halfway through the video teaser, the music and visuals are interrupted, the black/blue palette is replaced by yellow and brown, and we see snippets of black text and a secret message.

Starfield is packed full of Easter Eggs, if you didn’t know.Watch on YouTube

Thanks to some keen-eyed Starfield fans, somebody’s already pieced together the clues and shared that message with us: “Terran Armada”.

While we don’t yet know what Terran Armada is, let alone when it’ll release, fans are positing it’s possibly the name of the next DLC or expansion, and are already sharing on the Starfield subreddit what’s top of their wishlist.

DLC2 is titled “Terran Armada”.

“Yeah, this is interesting because ‘Terran’ when used in the correct context can only mean ‘of Terra’ or ‘from earth’,” suggested one player. “Looks like our planet might be more than it seems in Starfeild. With the rumors of a Starborn DLC or update I wonder if a bunch of Starborn resettled the earth in secret or something?”

“I’m just happy to have something to speculate and theorize on again since that has been one of the most fun parts of gaming releases since [I] was a kid,” said someone else.

Hopefully, Bethesda won’t leave us hanging for long and will confirm what’s coming sooner rather than later – we’ll keep you posted.

Last month, Bethesda teased an upcoming update for Starfield would improve space travel following a datamine that discovered hints of an overhauled “cruise mode”. After a hasty patch removed hints of the cruise mode from the files, Bethesda has since come forward with its hands up and admitted that yes, cruise mode is real and is on the way somewhat soon.

Labor Day sale marks down the only mainstream 40 inch ultrawide gaming monitor on the market by $90

by admin September 2, 2025

If you are in the market for an extra-large ultrawide gaming monitor, MSI has a killer deal on its only 40 inch 3440×1440 ultrawide display on sale today for Labor Day. The MSI MAG401QR has dropped to its lowest price since January, and is now just $339.99, a huge 26% off. The monitor is normally on sale for $429.99, saving you $90.

MSI’s MAG401QR sets itself apart by having a massive 40 inch display that is completely straight, providing an immersive gaming and movie-watching experience. By contrast, most other 3440×1440 ultrawide monitors are around 34 inch and have a curve. The curve is subjective, and not everyone likes curved monitors, making this monitor an ideal choice for those who prefer a flatter screen.

The MAG401QR is firmly geared towards gaming, featuring a 155Hz refresh rate and an IPS display with a 1ms response time. The display also supports 90% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and DisplayHDR 400 for HDR gaming and video playback with a peak brightness of 400 nits.

MSI has also armed this display with a variety of I/O featuring two HDMI 2.0b ports that support the display’s native resolution at up to 100Hz, one DisplayPort 1.4a that supports the display’s native resolution and maximum refresh rate, and a Type-C port sporting DP alt functionality and 65 watts of power delivery. Finally, there’s a headphone jack for wired 3.5mm audio devices.

The MAG401QR is pretty much the only 21:9 40 inch ultrawide display on the market not priced anywhere near $1000, making this deal exceptionally good. At just $339.99, MSI’s display is priced just $50-$90 above most mid-range 34″ ultrawide monitors, and for that extra cost, you’re getting a significantly larger screen.
If you are specifically in the market for an ultrawide larger than 34 inch, that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and maintains a 21:9 aspect ratio, this is your best option.

Battlefield 6 Beta Gets High Marks From Digital Foundry

by admin August 17, 2025

The Battlefield 6 open beta is currently in its second weekend, and players are still adsorbing the latest entry to the franchise. Meanwhile, Digital Foundry has shared its technical breakdown from the first weekend of Battlefield 6’s open beta, and the early verdict is very good.

That’s not to say that the open beta was flawless. In the opening minutes alone, DF broke down some of the issues with the destructible environments. There are occasional glitches, including pieces of rubble floating in air without being connected to the structure around them. Battlefield 6’s buildings appear to fall apart using a state-based system rather than registering unique damage or breaking points. Yet it’s still an improvement over Battlefield 2049 and Battlefield 5.

Visually, DF saw the best results when running the SSGI option on PC, which allowed for more natural lighting, and suggested that this feature should be included for PlayStation 5 Pro. Unsurprisingly, the PS5 Pro performed better than the standard PS5, but the gap wasn’t as great as it was between the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S. In a side-by-side comparison, the S noticeably struggled to keep up with the on-screen details that the X handled more smoothly.

Even in the beta’s current state, DF said that Battlefield 6 “is very shippable at the moment” and added that it has “a level of mechanical polish that feels top-notch.” However, DF added that the game could really use some raytracing embellishments and that it doesn’t feel innovative in the way that some of the previous titles have.

Among players, one of the current complaints is that the size of the 12v12 Rush mode is too small, but the final game’s bigger maps may solve that issue. Regardless, Battlefield 6’s beta has already passed Call of Duty’s concurrent-player record, as well as the record of the previous Battlefield games on Steam. The second Battlefield 6 open beta will conclude on August 17.
