An Elder Scrolls voice actor is teaming up with top Fallout 4 modders to livestream a 48-hour modding jam for charity

by admin June 12, 2025

A group of prominent Fallout 4 modders will be livestreaming the creation of a big mod over a single weekend later this month. It’s part of a charity drive led by voice actor Wes Johnson, probably most famous for providing the dulcet tones of mad Daedric prince Sheogorath in Oblivion and Skyrim.

The gang – led by Kinggath and the team behind the popular Sim Settlements mod – will be letting viewers decide the specifics of the mod via a stream this weekend, with the actual mod creation streams then taking place on Twitch across June 28th and 29th.

The modathon is part of this year’s edition of Voiceapalooza, an annual charity drive in aid of the American Alzheimer’s Association that sees Johnson and community-run charity initiative Fallout For Hope organise a bunch of streams to raise funds for the cause.

Last year, this time-limited modding element of it saw a similar group of modders create a Fallout 4 questline called Shady Motives, raising over $30,000 in the process. In addition to a story starring Johnson, who’s also voiced the likes of Fallout 3’s Fawkes and Oblivion’s Lucien Lachance, that mod included a player home, custom weapons and armour, and a fully-voiced companion.

So, basically a mini-DLC worth of stuff that was then uploaded to Nexus Mods and Bethesda.net once any kinks were ironed out for anyone on PC or Xbox to give a go. This year looks like it’ll produce a fresh mod of a similar size and scope, with modders Kinggath, Elianora, Neeher, Jazzhands, Otellino, Sagittaurus, Niero, Erika Ember Studios, Veta Phoenix, and greenFoxel all set to stream themselves creating and working on different aspects of it.

Interesting to check out if you’ve ever been curious about how the modding sausage is made, or you can just keep an eye out for the mod going live once it’s done. There’s also a stream on Kinggath’s Twitch that’ll see watchers vote to decide the details of the mod that the group’ll be building – that takes place this Saturday, June 14th, kicking off at

You can find all the timings for the different streams that make up this modathon in this Tweet, and find all the streams that’ll be going live on mod-making portion on June 28th here.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill f livestream announced by Konami

by admin June 9, 2025

Here’s a new date for your bumper summer line up of video game showcases: Konami has today announced its own livestream, which will give us all a fresh look at both Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill f.

The showcase – known as Konami Press Start – is scheduled for this coming Thursday, 12th June. It will air at 2pm here in the UK, so that’s 6:00am PT / 9:00am ET / 3:00pm CEST.

The whole thing is expected to last for around 37 minutes, Konami has said. While the studio namechecked both Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and Silent Hill f, it also promised “and more” during that time.

Everything We Know About Silent Hill f So Far. Watch on YouTube

Those interested in tuning in can do so via YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook.

“This live event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the creative minds behind some of Konami’s most iconic franchises,” the developer said, promising us all “insights into the development process”, as well as “exclusive content”.

As for those games mentioned above, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is scheduled for release on 28th August, complete with the Ape Escape-themed minigame from the original game. Last month, Konami released the intro video for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which is absolutely worth a watch.

Silent Hill f, meanwhile, is slated for launch later this year, on 25th September. It will be “more action-oriented” than last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake, but still feature puzzles that are “grounded in psychological anguish and suffering”.

Sunday’s UEFA Nations League finale sees veteran GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo leading Portugal against teenage sensation Lamine Yamal and the defending champions Spain.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the game as it happens, wherever you are in the world, and how to use a VPN if the match isn’t available where you are.

The generational showdown between two of soccer’s biggest names comes after match-winning performances by both stars in the midweek semifinals.

Forty-year-old Ronaldo scored a 68th-minute winner to give Portugal a 2-1 win over hosts Germany on Wednesday as the former Man United star rolled back the years to help his side reach the final for the first time since the Seleção das Quinas won the inaugural tournament in 2019.

Meanwhile, 17-year-old Yamal scored twice in Spain’s 5-4 win over France on Thursday, in an all-time classic match that saw La Roja hanging on at the end after nearly squandering a four-goal lead.

Portugal takes on Spain at the Allianz Arena on Sunday, June 8. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. CET local time in Munich, making it an 8 p.m. BST start in the UK, a 3 p.m. ET or 12 p.m. PT kickoff in the US and Canada, and a 5 a.m. AEST start on Monday, June 9, in Australia.

Today’s Nations League final marks the first time Cristiano Rolando and Lamine Yamal have faced each other in a match.

Today’s game is on Fox Network. If you don’t have the channel in your cable lineup, you can stream it via Sling TV.

Sling/CNET

Sling TV’s Blue plan includes FS1, making it a great option for fans wanting to watch international soccer action. It’s $46 a month and features over 40 channels.

Today’s game is also available to watch on Fubo Sports Network, the streaming platform’s dedicated sports service.

Fubo/CNET

There’s a lot to like about Fubo. In addition to its own Fubo Sports Network, it offers a wide selection of channels, plus its sports focus makes it especially attractive to soccer fans, as well as NBA, NHL and MLB fans who live in an area served by one of Fubo’s RSNs. It starts at $85 per month. Read our Fubo review.

Spanish-language service ViX also has the rights to show the game live in the US.

How to watch the Portugal vs. Spain match online from anywhere using a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the Nations League League action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds, and can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN usage to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions, ensuring you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN usage is crucial.

Quick tips for streaming international soccer using a VPN

  • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming soccer may vary.
  • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
  • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

The Witcher 4’s northern setting revealed in new Unreal livestream

by admin June 3, 2025

The Witcher 4 will be set in the far northern region of Kovir, not yet seen in the previous games.

Earlier today, we saw a first in-game look at CD Projekt Red’s forthcoming Ciri-starring sequel at the State of Unreal livestream. It showed off how the studio is using Unreal’s technology, but also hinted at the game’s location.

The end of the trailer shows a first look at Lan Exeter, the winter capital of the Kovir region. In a press release, the studio has confirmed the sequel will take place in Kovir.

The kingdom of Kovir and Poviss is to the far north of the world, beyond the Dragon Mountains. It’s fitting, then, that as Ciri peers out to the city beyond snow-capped mountains, a dragon flies overhead.

Earlier, the tech demo showed the city of Valdrest, which appears to be a new creation by the studio.

If Kovir sounds familiar, it’s referenced in The Witcher 3 by Triss as she’s asked to be court advisor to King Tancred in Kovir. Geralt is less keen to settle down in the region, though.

But perhaps he does ahead of The Witcher 4? Fans have speculated he may be the leader of the new Lynx Witcher school, from which Ciri learns her skills. And when that lynx medallion was first revealed it was in the snow, perhaps foreshadowing the cold northern region in which the game will take place.

The trailer also revealed Ciri’s horse Kelpie, just like in the books.

CD Projekt Red stated the game was running on a base PS5 at 60fps with ray tracing turned on. Here’s a look at some screenshots:

Binance Square Starts Livestream for Traders, Taking on Other Social Media Platforms

by admin May 26, 2025

Binance Square, the social network platform rolled out by crypto exchange Binance in October 2022, is launching a livestream product.

The feature, Binance said, will provide experienced traders and content creators another means of engaging their audience. Livestreams should foster learning, increase engagement on the platform, and enhance users’ market insights.

Livestreaming is already a feature on large social media platforms such as X.

Notably, the Solana-based token production protocol pump.fun shut down its own livestreaming feature in November after some of its users performed pornographic or dangerous acts. It quietly revived the product in April with additional guardrails.

Barcelona wraps up a treble-winning season in Spain with a tricky trip to San Mamés Stadium on Saturday to face Athletic Club.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the game as it happens, wherever you are in the world, and how to use a VPN if the match isn’t available there.

Barça suffered a rare defeat last weekend in its final home game of the campaign as it was beaten 3-2 by Villarreal at Estadi Olympic Lluis Companys. Head coach Hansi Flick will be eager to return to winning ways as his side wraps up what has been a truly memorable season.

While Bilbao will have been hugely disappointed to have narrowly missed out on the chance to play this year’s UEFA Europa League final on home turf, Ernesto Valverde’s team can still take pride in a strong season that has seen it secure a top-four finish and qualification for next year’s Champions League.

Athletic Bilbao hosts Barcelona at San Mamés Stadium on Sunday, May 24. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. CET local time, making it a 3 p.m. ET or 12 p.m. PT start in the US, an 8p.m. BST start in the UK and a 5 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Monday morning.

Head coach Hansi Flick has led Barcelona to a historic treble, with the Catalan giants having won the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup, as well as La Liga.

Defending champion Barcelona Femeni face 2007 winner Arsenal in the UEFA Women’s Champions League final on Saturday, as the Spanish giant aims for a third consecutive title in Europe’s most prestigious women’s football competition.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the game as it happens wherever you are in the world, and how to use a VPN if they’re not available where you are.

The Gunners have come up short domestically in the Women’s Super League, finishing second behind Chelsea. But they remain in contention for silverware thanks to an impressive European campaign that has seen them claim superb wins over Real Madrid and Lyon in the knockout phase.

Jonatan Giráldez’s Barcelona team will be confident of adding yet another trophy to its overflowing cabinet in a season that has seen it clinch the Liga F title with games to spare. It’s also looked unbeatable in a dominant European campaign that has seen emphatic victories over Wolfsburg and Chelsea en route to today’s final.

Arsenal take on Barcelona on Saturday, May 24, at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon, Portugal. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. WEST local time, which makes it a 5 p.m. BST start in the UK. For viewers in Europe it’s a 6 p.m. CEST kickoff, while it’s a 12 p.m. ET or 9 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada. Soccer fans in Australia, meanwhile, will need to set their alarms for 2 a.m. AEST on Sunday morning to watch the action live.

This is where having a VPN on your router will also help since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • Remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Watch Blizzard, hopefully, distract you from Diablo 4 Season 8 by showing off what’s coming with Season 9 in dev livestream

by admin May 22, 2025

Blizzard is hoting the latest edition of its Campfire Chat developer livestream tonight. This one is going to be all about Diablo 4’s upcoming Season 9. Or, more specifically, it’s going to cover the patch 2.3.0 PTR (Public Test Realm), which will be opening its doors soon.

Among many other things, this is the show where the developer will outline why a PTR is needed at all, what to expect from the next major update/Season, as well as how to get involved.

If you feel like it’s a little too soon for a new PTR already in Diablo 4, you’re not wrong. We’re only a couple of weeks into Season 8, which is clearly going to be a shorter season compared to previous ones.

Season 8 had its own PTR for patch 2.2.0 back in March, and Season 9’s PTR is likely going to start before the end of this month, or early in June. The start date for the 2.3.0 PTR is just one of the things Blizzard developers will cover in tonight’s livestream.

Another topic of discussion is going to be Dungeon Escalation, the new activity coming to Diablo 4 with Season 9. Each season has a rotating activity, and this one is going to be next season’s version of that.

As always, this is going to be a dense show that ends with a Q&A segment. It all kicks off at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm UK. You’ll be able to watch it on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and TikTok. We have the Twitch player embedded below, too, for your convenience.
