Kirby gets limited-time ketchup sauce collab with Heinz

by admin June 10, 2025

Kirby is set to be featured on “upside down” ketchup bottles as part of a collaboration with food company Heinz.

Amid the Nintendo Switch 2 hype, food processing company Heinz has just announced that it will be collaborating with HAL Laboratory to release special Kirby tomato ketchup bottles. Though, this isn’t the first time Kirby has been featured in a Ketchup bottle thanks to a collab with Heinz.

Back in November 2024, Heinz’s partnered up with Kirby and launched a pouch-like design for the ketchup, with the company mentioning that Maxim Tomatoes, an item that can fully restore health in the game’s franchise, was the inspiration behind it.

Fast-forward to June 2025. Now, they’re back with another rerun but with a twist. This time around, the new promotion features the adorable pink mascot on “upside-down” bottles.

Heinz to launch upside-down Kirby tomato ketchup bottles in Japan

The new tomato ketchup bottles will hit the shelves in Japan sometime in June 2025, and they’ll only be available in limited quantities. Compared to the first run, this new collab has three designs displayed on the bottles, including one additional character.

There’s one design where Kirby sits happily while holding a burger, and another one where he’s surrounded by tomatoes, fitting to the product.

Another one even includes Waddle-Dee in the illustration, showing the red-orange creature holding a tomato beside Kirby.

Heinz’s official Twitter account will also be giving away 1,000 of these keychains! Like the last Kirby giveaway item they had, the keychain will be available to only residents of Japan. pic.twitter.com/bYnhO5EW8A

Aside from these bottles, the company has also revealed that there’s one additional item that fans can get their hands on: an embroidered keystone-shaped Kirby keychain with a Heinz logo.

However, the only way to get this is to take part in a special quiz, and only if you are lucky, as only 1,000 winners will be chosen at the end. The quiz itself will be held on social media, so fans will just have to keep an eye out if they’d like to join and try their luck.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Collector’s Edition Gets $100 Limited-Time Discount

by admin May 28, 2025

Spider-Man fans can save on all three of Insomniac Games’ superb Spider-Man games for PS5 during PlayStation’s Days of Play 2025 sale. Deals on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Miles Morales: Ultimate Edition allow newcomers to dive into the trio of open-world action-adventure titles for only $80 total. If you’re a huge Spidey fan, you’ll want to check out the massive discount on Marvel Spider-Man 2’s Collector’s Edition.

On sale for $130–a savings of $100–this PlayStation Direct-exclusive edition comes with a 19-inch statue of Venom alongside Peter and Miles, a steelbook case, and the $80 Digital Deluxe Edition. PS Direct offers free shipping on all orders. You could put some of cash you’re saving toward Dark Horse’s Deluxe Limited Edition Spider-Man 2 Art Book, which is on sale for nearly 50% off at Amazon.

Side note: If you like statues, make sure to take a look at Horizon Forbidden West’s Collector’s Edition while it’s in stock for only $80 (was $180).

Let’s take a closer look at the Spider-Man deals in PlayStation’s Days of Play 2025 sale.

$130 (was $230)

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s Collector’s Edition comes with a 19-inch statue featuring both Spider-Men–Peter Parker and Miles Morales–in a battle with a very large, very angry Venom.

The statue is the big selling point here, but you’ll also get an exclusive steelbook case. Unfortunately, the Collector’s Edition does not include the physical edition of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Instead, you’ll find a voucher for the Digital Deluxe Edition ($80 value). This edition comes with 10 bonus suits, five for Peter, five for Miles.

The Collector’s Edition was previously featured in PlayStation’s 2024 Holiday Sale, but it was priced at $150. Once this edition sells out, it won’t be coming back. It’s a bit surprising that it didn’t disappear over the holidays, but perhaps the $130 price point will make it happen.

And if you really want a disc to store in your steelbook case, you could use a portion of the money you’re saving here to buy the discounted standard edition detailed below.

$40 (was $70)

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was one of the biggest games of 2023, and it often still sells for its full $70 price.

Insomniac Games built on the formula from Marvel’s Spider-Man and Miles Morales, delivering the biggest and most dynamic open-world adventure starring Spider-Man yet. Well, Spider-Men, as the sequel features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable characters. It’s a blast to swing around New York City as either Spider-Man, and each character’s unique combat abilities make switching back and forth between them a consistently satisfying experience.

$40 (was $70) | $20 for Miles Morales

Miles Morales bridges the gap between the two numbered entries in the series. It’s a smaller-scale experience that feels more like a meaty expansion than a brand-new game.

New players will want to opt for the Ultimate Edition, a value pack that includes Miles Morales and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, a great enhanced version of the 2018 PS4 exclusive.

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales — $20 ($50)
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition — $40 ($70)

If you’re interested in upgrading to the PS5 Pro, the powerful PlayStation console is on sale for the first time since its release last holiday season. PlayStation has also launched new PS5 Slim Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Bundles starting at $400.

The Finals’ latest update adds a limited-time mode that’s mostly just hitting each other with hammers

by admin May 24, 2025

I’ve always been a fan of The Finals’ destructible environments, although I’ve sometimes felt its desire to be a proper, grown-up multiplayer shooter obstructed the simple pleasure of ripping a building apart Red Faction: Guerilla style. But that looks set to change, at least temporarily, with the game’s newly added limited-time mode. This is a straight-up 5v5 slugfest that mostly involves hitting everyone with hammers, and it’s perhaps the closest The Finals has got to pure destructive chaos yet.

Described by Embark Studios as a “platform fighter” mode, Heavy Hitters takes place in a floating arena that resembles a construction yard. Loadouts in Heavy Hitters are fixed, with players all assuming the role of Heavy builds, wielding weighty melee weapons, as well as jump pads, anti-gravity cubes and goo grenades.

The goal of Heavy Hitters is to eject your opponents from the arena, and there’s an interesting mechanical twist here. Players can’t be killed by running out of health. Instead, as your health drops, gravity has less of an effect on your character. Consequently, the more you get walloped, the farther you fly, until you’re eventually launched so far from the arena you have no hope of getting back.

There’s also some silly nonsense about earning rewards by completing contracts sponsored by The Finals’ fictional energy drink Ospuze, which falls neatly in line with the game having utterly dismal worldbuilding. But I don’t care about that, because Heavy Hitters looks like enormous fun, the kind of mode you could cobble together from Unreal Tournament mutators back in the day. And the fact everyone’s running around a small arena wielding sledgehammers means it gets properly wrecked, in a way that’s much easier to track than in the stricter, more intensive vanilla game modes.

Outside of Heavy Hitters, update 6.9 adds a bunch of tiger-themed cosmetics, including a tail and stripey fingernails. It also makes numerous balance changes to weapons, particularly to the KS-23, which gets a significant boost to accuracy in all situations. Finally, there’s the usual raft of bug-fixes, mainly directed toward animations and cosmetics in this case.

Heavy Hitters is available to play now. There’s no word on how long exactly the mode will run for, but since Season 7 of the Finals debuts in June, it seems logical that it’ll be available until then.
