BTC Mining Hits Toughest Level Yet While Hashprice Slides

by admin October 2, 2025

Bitcoin’s mining difficulty climbed 5% to a record 150.84 trillion on Wednesday, marking the seventh straight upward adjustment, according to Glassnode.

Difficulty, which resets every 2016 blocks (approximately every two weeks), measures how challenging it is for miners to find new blocks and maintains the average block time at around 10 minutes.

The increase reflects continued growth in the network’s hash rate, now above one zettahash at 1.05 ZH/s. A higher hash rate signals more machines competing to secure the network, boosting security while raising the bar for profitability.

That pressure is showing up in hashprice, miner revenue per unit of hashrate ,which has slipped under $50 per petahash per second, Luxor data shows.

The metric briefly touched $52 when bitcoin traded above $118,000 earlier this summer, but has since drifted lower as difficulty rose and prices softened.

For miner margins to improve, one of three levers would need to move: higher fees, which remain at multi-year lows, a rebound in bitcoin’s price, or a slowdown in network hash rate.

Despite record difficulty and falling hashprice, mining stocks have rallied alongside bitcoin’s surge above $118,500, with Cipher Mining (CIFR) up more than 51% over the past month, Bit Digital (BTBT) gaining 25%, and Marathon Digital (MARA) climbing nearly 16%

by admin September 30, 2025

SteelSeries is king when it comes to audio. Their excellence in this area knows no bounds, and they’re even stretching that when it comes to high-end sound. Introducing the Arctis Nova Elite, a premium headset for audiophiles. All of the details are below, check it out and get your wallet prepped. Purchase yours via this link.

CHICAGO – September 30, 2025 – There comes a time when every brand looks within and asks, “How do we push the industry and culture forward?” Today, with revolutionary advancements in gaming audio technology and advanced features, SteelSeries, the original esports brand that fuses gaming and culture, debuts a groundbreaking headset that truly transcends the needs of a gamer who wants audiophile-grade performance. Introducing the Arctis Nova Elite, the world’s first Hi-Res Wireless Certified headphones for gaming.

At its core, SteelSeries is passionate about creating industry-defining products. For the brand’s newest innovation, the goal was simple: reinvent the best high-end gaming headset on the planet – and take it to an all-new level. Before today’s launch of the Arctis Nova Elite, Hi-Res wireless audio in a gaming headset just wasn’t possible – the technology was not available, and the ability to connect, mix, and play up to four sources on PC, Console, Bluetooth, and Line-In simultaneously was merely an idea on a sketch pad.

“SteelSeries exists to ignite possibility and elevate every gamer to their full potential,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO. “Arctis Nova Elite is not just a new product—it is a statement of boundless imagination and the limitless capabilities of SteelSeries. With this new line, we are redefining premium gaming audio, infusing it with inspiration, aspiration, and the magic to transform every moment of gaming into something extraordinary.”

Pushing the envelope with innovation, design, and engineering, SteelSeries is introducing the first Hi-Res Wireless Certified headphones for gaming that deliver breakthrough performance with audiophile-grade sound through 24-Bit/96KHz transmission over 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, powered by a new GameHub and next-gen LC3+ codec. The ultimate clarity is achieved with custom 40mm Carbon Fiber Speaker Drivers, which provide incredible new levels of accuracy and performance, capable of reproducing frequencies from 10Hz to 40kHz. These two-piece drivers deliver stunningly realistic soundscapes, and a custom-designed brass ring adds rigidity, allowing for a truly ‘pistonic’ driver, much like a piston in a car engine.

Introducing an industry-first technology, the Arctis Nova Elite’s new GameHub has been purpose-built for a “gaming lifestyle.” Gamers can now go beyond standard simultaneous 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth audio with OmniPlay – by connecting a PC, PlayStation, and Xbox simultaneously, and mixing audio from up to four sources (PC, Console, Bluetooth, and Aux) in perfect harmony without loss of clarity. The Arctis Nova Elite delivers seamless transitions between all connected devices for true audio multitasking with Triple USB-C inputs that allow gamers to connect any system. Players can chat on Discord, be in a game lobby, and watch a TikTok all at the same time.

Additional features include the Arctis App with 200+  game-specific audio presets that can be changed on-the-fly, the best Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) in gaming*, 32kHz/16-bit Auto-Switching Microphones with AI Noise Rejection that can block up to 97% of background noise, and an Infinite Power System that provides unlimited battery life with a dual-battery system. *Independently lab tested against key competitors. (Aug 2025)*

Materials make the difference. A sleek and stylish Danish aesthetic has been co-designed with renowned designer Jacob Wagner, combining Scandinavian minimalism with functional elegance and exceptional comfort through premium materials and ergonomic features. With an all-metal frame, metal control wheel, and plush memory foam earcups, the Arctis Nova Elite enables gamers to immerse themselves in luxury.

With its innovative design, tech, and high-end materials, gamers can truly immerse themselves in their favorite games, entertainment, work, and play without limitations…  Now, that’s Elite. How to beat level 38 of I’m Not a Robot

I’m Not a Robot loves giving you Waymo parking puzzles, where you have to showcase your parallel parking skills and park the vehicle in the exact space. However, the final Park the Waymo challenge, Tough Decisions, takes it to the next level, where reaching your parking spot requires you to sacrifice a baby or an old lady on the road.

While you might feel that choosing one and wrapping the challenge is light work, it doesn’t work like that, and the solution is easier than expected. If you’re struggling with this challenge, we have a detailed guide to solve it.

I’m Not a Robot level 38 – Park the Waymo solution

Out-of-the-box solution. Screenshot and remix by Dot Esports

To solve level 38 Park the Waymo puzzle, you’ll have to think literally out of the box. While in the other Waymo challenges, you could just use the road with your car to reach your spot, but this challenge tricks you into making a rash decision.

You can either hit the child or the grandma to reach the parking spot, but the moment you hit them, the puzzle resets, forcing you to find another way to reach your spot. You can be creative and use the grass to complete it without hitting them, but it also crashes your vehicle, leaving you with only one solution to solve the puzzle: use the road outside the puzzle area.

Yes, drive your vehicle to the left or right as you prefer and make a sharp turn to reach the road next to the parking lot. Always keep the car in your vision. Otherwise, your puzzle will reset. Once you reach the road, drive into it and make sure you don’t hit the grass or the people while you park your vehicle adjacent to other vehicles on the road. You’ll finish the puzzle without harming anyone.

Next up, you can read our guides to solve other puzzles like the squares on the 64th floor of the Empire State Building and the Reverse Turing test in I’m Not a Robot.

Bitcoin Might Lose $100,000 Level If This Happens

by admin September 26, 2025

Although the Bitcoin bull run has been consistently interrupted by recurring price dips, the leading cryptocurrency has now held above the $100,000 mark for 142 consecutive days.

While this seems impressive, this record is on the verge of closing, according to a Bitcoin price prediction issued by crypto analyst Ali Martinez.

The analyst shared a chart showing Bitcoin hovering around $109,300 as of September 26 — a significant pullback from recent highs witnessed above $116,000.

Marked by historical price actions, the chart highlights $107,200 as an important support level for Bitcoin, which could determine its next price move.

Bitcoin to retest $100,000?

According to the analyst, Bitcoin is at risk of retesting its six-figure streak if the leading cryptocurrency closes below the $107,200 support level. The analyst emphasized that a dip below this support level might see Bitcoin retest $100,000 or possibly fall as low as $93,000 — a level not seen since May 2025.

As of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $109,033 — a notable decrease of 2.07% over the last day, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Source: CoinMarketCap

While the asset shows no sign of a possible resurgence soon, market watchers are worried that Bitcoin is close to breaking the specified support zone, putting it at risk of retesting $100,000 again.

Notably, Bitcoin’s resilience above $100,000 for the last 142 days is attributable to growing institutional interest and consistent inflows recorded by the spot Bitcoin ETF.

However, recent market trends show the leading cryptocurrency losing momentum amid high profit-taking activities among holders and rising exchange inflows, which suggest that traders are beginning to exercise caution.

Although large corporations like MicroStrategy and BlackRock have remained resilient in their Bitcoin accumulation strategies, the Bitcoin ecosystem is still faced with high selling pressure, causing its price to fall below previous lows.

Nonetheless, analysts have suggested that a decisive hold above $107,200 could restore confidence in the Bitcoin ecosystem, allowing the cryptocurrency to maintain its close above $100,000 and potentially never retest that level again.

If Elden Ring Nightreign wasn't punishing enough for you, FromSoft is adding a high-difficulty mode
Game Updates

Elden Ring Nightreign’s next update will make sure your Depth level actually goes up when you win, let you drop it down when it gets too hard

by admin September 22, 2025

The ultra-chalenging Deep of Night mode has only been available in Elden Ring Nightreign for about ten days, but players have already identified a couple of areas where it could improve, and unfortunately ran into a nasty bug that could rob you of your victory.

Deep of Night is a mode designed for longtime players, offering multiple tiers of higher difficulties that you can climb through. It also changes some of the game’s rules to make it more exciting and challenging for veteran players.

The biggest issue that Nightreign players have been having with Deep of Night is one that touches the core of it. After earning a win at a certain Depth level, the game lets you go a rank higher. Unfortunately, some players have been stuck, without being able to increase their rank.

FromSoftware confirmed that, while it works on a permanent fix, a temporary solution will arrive in the game in an update soon. Though we don’t have a date for that update, the developer also revealed that it’s also taking this opportunity to add a couple of welcome quality of life features to the mode.

First, players will soon be able to decrease their Depth rank by one level. Those who aren’t interested in going lower, however, will be happy to know that the developer is adding rank demotion protection, too.

Upon reaching Depth levels 3, 4, and 5, you’ll be protected against losing a level after your next defeat. This protects you from a single defeat at level 3, and two defeats at levels 4 and 5. The even better news is that the protection is refreshed when you reach the same Depth level again after a demotion.

Watch on YouTube

FromSoftware is also making it so players at level 1 Depth who join matches at level 2 and above won’t lose points upon defeat, which makes sense given that they’ve been matched into a game with a higher difficulty than they can handle.

Finally, if you’re playing on Steam on PC, you’ll soon be able to continue your session if Steam itself disconnects. This only applies to Steam’s servers, of course, and assumes Nightreign’s own servers are live when that happens.

Whether you just picked a copy of Nightreign and you’re nowhere near ready for Depth of Night, or you’re a seasoned veteran who’s finally done with all the Nightlord bosses, our Elden Ring Nightreign guide offers a wealth of information you absolutely need.

Geometry Dash streamer finally conquers ‘impossible’ level after viral fail

by admin September 22, 2025

Just three weeks ago, Geometry Dash streamer ‘Cuatrocientosgd’ went viral for their soul-crushing fail in the game’s hardest level. Now, they’ve finally redeemed themselves by becoming the first player in the world to conquer the challenge of Flamewall.

Although Geometry Dash released 12 years ago, the game still has a fairly vibrant community as dedicated players keep it alive through fan-made maps. For many, this is where skills are truly put to the test, as many are designed to be all but ‘humanly impossible.’

The toughest challenge of them all, however, is none other than Flamewall. An infamous stage in the community, it was indeed considered impossible for the longest time, even resulting in one of the most viral gaming fails of the year. But now, it’s finally been conquered.

Just weeks after coming nail-bitingly close with a 99% run, falling short with the very last input, Twitch streamer cuatrocientosgd has redeemed themselves. They now hold claim to being the first in the world to topple Flamewall.

Viral Geometry Dash streamer returns to conquer ‘impossible’ level

Earlier this month, the streamer went viral for the wrong reason. After months of trial and error, committing every frame to muscle memory, they had seemingly made it through Flamewall. Though in the final moment, one missed input led to a devastating fail at 99% completion.

Naturally, they freaked out and even hunched over in tears. Dozens of hours of hard work amounted to a viral fail they never could have imagined.

For many, this would have been the final straw, but cuatrocientosgd was committed. The very next day, they were back to practicing, and now, after a few weeks in the lab, they’ve emerged with a world-first run of Flamewall.

After more than 200,000 attempts, they finally got it done on September 21, 2025, as fans watched along live. Jumping and screaming with joy as family celebrated alongside them and their heart rate spike to almost 190BPM, they redeemed themselves for the world to see.

Hollow Knight: Silksong devs admit it has “moments of steep difficulty” but also a “higher level of freedom” to avoid getting stonewalled

by admin September 18, 2025

Team Cherry’s long-awaited Hollow Knight follow-up Silksong has spawned lengthy discourse around difficulty in games, and now the developers have addressed the topic too.

The game is part of the Game Worlds exhibition at Australia’s national museum of screen culture (ACMI), which was attended by Dexerto. The exhibition’s co-curator Jini Maxwell spoke with Ari Gibson and William Pellen from Team Cherry at the event.

“The important thing for us is that we allow you to go way off the path,” Gibson explained. “So one player may choose to follow it directly to its conclusion, and then another may choose to constantly divert from it and find all the other things that are waiting and all the other ways and routes.”

Hollow Knight: Silksong Review – Beautiful, Thrilling And CruelWatch on YouTube

While Gibson admitted Silksong “has some moments of steep difficulty”, he added “part of allowing a higher level of freedom within the world means that you have choices all the time about where you’re going and what you’re doing.”

So instead of players repeatedly attempting a particular boss fight, they “have ways to mitigate the difficulty via exploration, or learning, or even circumventing the challenge entirely, rather than getting stonewalled.”

Gibson further noted that as Hornet is “inherently faster and more skillful than the Knight” of the first game, even base level enemies had to be “more complicated, more intelligent”.

Added Pellen: “The basic ant warrior is built from the same move-set as the original Hornet boss. The same core set of dashing, jumping, and dashing down at you, plus we added the ability to evade and check you. In contrast to the Knight’s enemies, Hornet’s enemies had to have more ways of catching her as she tries to move away.”

Team Cherry’s approach was therefore to “bring everyone else up to match [Hornet’s] level”.

One other area of contention are the boss runbacks, which often task players with repeating difficult platform sections before re-attempting a boss. But have boss runbacks had their day?

“Pretty and charmingly mean-spirited, this is a game filled with revelations and genuine personality,” reads our Silksong review.

Bitcoin Cash Rallies to Nearly $650, Highest Level Since April 2024

Bitcoin Cash Rallies to Nearly $650, Highest Level Since April 2024

by admin September 18, 2025

Bitcoin’s (BTC) offshoot bitcoin cash BCH$643.22 has rallied 7% to $647 in the past 24 hours, revisiting valuations last seen in April 2024, according to data source CoinDesk.

The rally follows a period of extreme bearish market sentiment for the token, according to data tracking platform Santiment.

“Historically, prices move in the opposite direction of the crowd’s expectations. So, implementing a strategy of buying when the crowd is fearful and selling when the crowd gets greedy continues to work extremely well for most altcoins,” Santiment said on X, explaining BCH’s upswing.

The token’s rally aligns with the broader risk-on sentiment sparked by Wednesday’s Fed rate cut and market expectations for continued liquidity easing in the coming months. Several tokens, including DOT, SUI, JUP, and NEAR, have seen similar gains in the past 24 hours, while smaller coins like PENGU have led the charge with impressive double-digit increases.

Possibly greasing the Fed-led bullish market sentiment is the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) decision to approve generic listing standards for commodity and crypto ETFs without undergoing individual reviews for each product. This move is expected to speed up the introduction of new products tied to a variety of tokens in the coming months.

BCH’s daily chart shows a bullish breakout. (CoinDesk/TradingView)

BCH’s recent move builds on the bullish breakout confirmed two months ago. In July, its price surged above the upper boundary of a channel pattern formed by trendlines connecting highs from April and December 2024, and lows from August 2024 and April 2025.

This breakout from a prolonged period of consolidation suggests that selling pressure has been absorbed, clearing the way for further upside. The immediate resistance to watch is the 2024 high at $719, which could be the next key hurdle for BCH to surpass.

XRP Just Created New Death Cross, $3 Level to Watch Now

by admin September 16, 2025

XRP has created a new death cross following recent market selling pressure, albeit on the short-term chart, the hourly time frame.

A death cross, which occurs when the short term moving average — such as the 50 MA — falls below the long term MA, has recently appeared on the XRP hourly chart. This comes after XRP formed a golden cross on its four-hour chart, as reported by U.Today.

XRP/USD Hourly Chart, Courtesy: TradingView

XRP rose for six days from Sept. 6 to reach a high of $3.187 on Sept. 13. This bullish pressure caused XRP to create a golden cross (the reverse of death cross) on its four-hour chart; however, an interesting twist appeared with the market being overbought, and XRP began to decline.

You Might Also Like

XRP fell for two days in a row, dropping from a high of $3.187 on Sept. 13 to a low of $2.95 on Sept. 15 before it slightly rebounded.

$3 level now important

Bears pulled XRP below $3 (the daily SMA 50) in yesterday and today’s sessions, thwarting bulls’ attempts to flip this level into short-term support.

As it stands, bulls continue to make efforts in this regard; the good news is that they have not given up ground as XRP has returned once again above $3 after dropping to an intraday low of $2.96.

You Might Also Like

At press time, XRP was up 1.11% in the last 24 hours to $3.03, as the markets rebounded ahead of the Fed interest rate decision on Sept. 17.

Going forward, XRP will be watched to see if it can sustain above $3 and flip this level into support, which might reignite bullish momentum to target highs of $3.18, $3.38 and $3.66 ahead of $4.

In positive news, the REX-Osprey XRPR ETF is expected to launch this week.

Neil Druckmann will retain “high level” role on The Last of Us Season Three to ensure it’s “as deeply faithful” as Season One

by admin September 12, 2025

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has discussed his decision to step away from the TV adapation of The Last of Us for the third season, stating he’d accomplished his “crazy goal” of elevating video games.

While he’s now returned to full-time video game development on the forthcoming Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, he will remain somewhat involved in The Last of Us at a “very high level” to make sure it’s “as deeply faithful as Season One was”.

“I feel like that is the gold standard for this kind of adaptation, while enjoying all these beautiful expansions that happen naturally with the rest of the team and how they’re working on Season Three,” Druckmann told Variety. “So that is where my involvement will stay is at that very, very high level.”

The Last of Us Season 2 | Official Trailer | MaxWatch on YouTube

Druckmann announced his decision to step back from the TV show in July, though told Variety he made the decision when the writers’ room for Season Three was about to commence.

“I looked at what’s in front of me, what would the next season might look like,” he said, “and with all the various Last of Us things I’m working on – not just the show – with all the various games I’m working on, the biggest one that takes up most of my time is Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, our next big IP for Naughty Dog and PlayStation, it felt like I could better serve all of my responsibilities if I stayed at a higher level.”

This was also having achieved a goal of elevating The Last of Us beyond players of the game.

“I felt like that story could find a bigger audience for people that will never play video games,” said Druckmann. “I wanted to elevate Naughty Dog, and PlayStation has been a home for me for 21 years now, and it’s given me all the support to tell these wonderful stories, and I wanted to elevate video games. It was such a crazy goal, but I wanted someone to watch this show and have no idea it was based on the video game, and then be like, ‘Wait, that’s based on a video game?'”

Druckmann added he’s learned a lot from his time on the show, “even just as far as the craft of making cinematic storytelling”.

“There’s so much that overlaps with my work at Naughty Dog that I felt like I took quite a bit away from that,” he said. “I think I could better serve this show and other adaptations like it in the future, having learned all this stuff – but my first responsibility, my first love, is video games, and it’s at Naughty Dog.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Druckmann stated Intergalactic would be the studio’s most ambitious game to date.
