Leaked Fallout Merch Appears To Use AI-Generated Slop

by admin September 3, 2025

Earlier this week, someone leaked what they claim to be new Fallout-themed merchandise that will reportedly soon be available on Target shelves around the United States. But fans think that at least one piece of leaked merch is using AI-generated imagery, aka slop.

On September 2, a user on the Fallout subreddit posted a short video of them seemingly pulling out pieces of not-yet-announced Fallout-themed merchandise in a warehouse-like setting. The user claimed that the Fallout goodies would be sold at Target starting in November or December. The original video has since been deleted, possibly because the original poster was nervous about getting in trouble with Target. But Kotaku viewed the video before it was deleted, and the merch seemed real. And one item, Fallout-themed hot sauce, appears to be shipping to stores in a box that has AI-generated imagery on the back.

As spotted by PCGamesn, users in the comments below the leaked Target video began focusing on peculiarities in the hot sauce artwork. In the image, a couple is seen sitting at a table eating a Deathclaw’s hand. But the man can be seen using his knife and fork to cup up a napkin. The fork looks oddly shaped, too. Others pointed out that the Deathclaw hand seems to be floating oddly above the plate. The man’s right hand also seems off. All of this would lead one to believe this new Fallout merch is using AI-generated artwork.

Kotaku contacted Bethesda about the leaked art, but didn’t receive a response before publication. It should be noted that Bethesda likely contracted this artwork out via another company and didn’t create the image.

The use of AI-generated slop has become more and more prevalent in marketing and advertising over the last two years as companies desperate to make the line go up cut corners to prove to investors they aren’t being left behind as AI-powered tech continues to grow. In fact, this isn’t even the first time an official Fallout-related artwork has been scrutinized by fans for some strange, AI-like oddities. Will a man using a terrible fork to cut up a napkin stop collectors and fans from buying this piece of Fallout merch? Probably not, which is what companies are counting on.

The MCU/Avengers: Doomsday

At her recent appearance at Dragon Con (via Cosmic Marvel), Chloe Bennett confirmed Agents of SHEILD still “isn’t considered canon” to the MCU, adding that Secret Invasion “would’ve been better” had that not been the case.

I’m not playing a bit, this isn’t a joke, I don’t know anything. They haven’t asked me. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. isn’t considered canon, [but] I agree that I should’ve been in Secret Invasion. It probably would’ve been better.

Meanwhile, Yahoo! Entertainment notes that insiders Daniel Richtman and My Time To Shine Hello appear to have corroborated that Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter “have children” in Avengers: Doomsday. The outlet writes that Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell “are apparently shooting on the set of Steve and Peggy’s house from the end of Avengers: Endgame,” and that Tom Hiddleston also “filmed a scene” at the location in which “he has a conversation with them.” As per the reports, “when Steve went back in time to go live with Peggy, he created the Incursions so now Doom wants him dead.”

A “PTSD-afflicted ex-SEAL” learns the woman he rescued from kidnappers was “bio-engineered by a scientist grieving his own wife” in the trailer for Affinity, an action/sci-fi movie starring Marko Zaror, Louis Mandylor, Brooke Ence, and Jane Mirro.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Chloé Zhao revealed to the Los Angeles Times she’s wrapped filming the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer pilot.

I just wrapped the pilot on the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, which is set 25 years later. My company is part of developing it. The fandom is so special to me and I’m excited about how that’s going to go into the world.

Star Wars: Starfighter

According to a new report from TheInSneider, Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda will serve as the director of photography on Star Wars: Starfighter.

Injustice 3 leaked by Superman and Green Lantern voice actors

by admin August 31, 2025

Green Lantern and Superman voice actors told fans at conventions they were working on Injustice 3. Fans immediately started celebrating online after years of silence.

Injustice 2 released in 2017 and was a major hit. It combined DC superheroes and villains with the tight mechanics of NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat series. The game sold well, received strong reviews, and kept a dedicated player base alive with DLC characters and competitive tournaments.

After that, NetherRealm shifted focus to Mortal Kombat 11 in 2019 and then Mortal Kombat 1 in 2023. Rumors of Injustice 3 appeared every few months, but Warner Bros never confirmed anything and the studio stayed quiet. Until now, the franchise’s future was only speculation.

Phil LaMarr, the voice of John Stewart’s Green Lantern, signed a fan’s Injustice 2 steelbook at a convention in Houston. While chatting, he casually mentioned, “they’re making another one, they’re doing Injustice 3.”

That was placed over the Hal Jordan skin in injustice 2 as DLC. then he signed my steelbook and I told him he is my definitive voice for John Stewart. He hands me my steelbook and says “you know they’re making another one, they’re doing Injustice 3.” And my heart started racing pic.twitter.com/j1ZsWGEwyn

Around the same time, George Newbern, the voice of Superman, told another fan that he was “currently working on Injustice 3.” Both interactions spread quickly online, with fans treating them as the first real confirmation of the sequel.

Yesterday, I finally met my favorite voice for Superman! @georgenewbern! I was telling him he’s definitive as the voice for me and how much I loved the game MultiVersus. In response to my MultiVersus comment, he told me he’s currently working on Injustice 3! #Superman pic.twitter.com/PICBuZlSuS

— Brendan Borrow (@Brendan_Batman) August 23, 2025

These comments suggest that development is underway and possibly well advanced. NetherRealm usually records voice work in the middle stages of development.

The studio has a pattern of rotating between Mortal Kombat and Injustice, so the timeline matches up. With DC’s new leadership under James Gunn and Peter Safran pushing for stronger multimedia projects, Injustice 3 could arrive as part of a bigger strategy for DC games.

The fighting game scene in 2025 is already stacked. Tekken 8 has been thriving and Street Fighter 6 continues to evolve. If Injustice 3 joins the lineup soon, it could shift attention back to superhero fighters and make the competitive scene even more exciting.

Leaked Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 release date suggests there’s still no Nintendo Switch 2 version at launch

by admin August 17, 2025

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will reportedly release on 14th November, 2025, and there’s still no Nintendo Switch 2 release planned.

That’s according to noted and highly reliable Dealabs leaker billbil-kun, who suggests the latest instalment of Activision’s tentpole franchise will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series, but will not be available on Switch at launch.

Why Tiktok Thirsts over Call of Duty’s Ghost.Watch on YouTube

We noted Nintendo Switch 2 was notably absent from the launch platform line-up when the game was revealed during Summer Games Fest, running counter to Microsoft’s 10-year promise to launch Call of Duty on Nintendo platforms on “the same day as Xbox, with full feature and content parity” if its gargantuan $69 billion offer to buy Activision Blizzard was approved. Which it was, of course.

At the time, however, sources confirmed to Eurogamer: “We’re committed to getting the franchise on Switch. Both teams [are] working on it. Will share details when ready.”

Dealabs posits that all this release information will be confirmed at next week’s Gamescom, including news of a physical release (with a disc included) and pre-orders set to go live on 20th August, following a reveal the night before at Opening Night Live. While U.S./UK pricing has yet to be leaked or confirmed, the leaker suggests it’ll retail for €79.99 in Europe. Xbox has, of course, previously pledged not to raise prices past $70 USD.

Former Activision Blizzard president Mike Ybarra thinks Battlefield 6 will “boot stomp” Call of Duty this year, and that this will push the CoD series to stop being “lazy”.
