Valour Launches Eight Crypto ETPs on Sweden’s Stock Market

by admin August 28, 2025

Valour, a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: DEFT), has launched eight new crypto exchange traded products (ETPs) on Sweden’s Spotlight Stock Market. The move, announced in a company press release on Tuesday, is part of a strategy to provide investors in the Nordic region with easier access to a wider range of digital assets.

According to the press release, these products are priced in SEK, and they let investors gain exposure to digital assets through their normal brokerage accounts. Each product has a 1.9 percent management fee, so they are accessible and straightforward for everyday investors.

🗞️ We’re proud to expand our Nordic product suite with the launch of eight new SEK-denominated ETPs on @__Spotlight___ Stock Market – Valour now provides 85+ ETPs across Europe, reinforcing our leadership in regulated digital-asset investment solutions.

The new ETPs cover a diverse set of crypto tokens, including Shiba Inu, Pi, Ondo, Cronos, Mantle, VeChain, Ethena, and Celestia. This launch brings Valour’s total product line to more than 85 different offerings, which are now available across several major European markets.

According to Valour, the goal is to give investors in the Nordic region a chance to access a wider set of digital assets without the need to directly buy and store cryptocurrencies themselves.

Each of the tokens in this new lineup represents a unique part of the digital asset world. In the press release, executives at Valour explained that the launch is in line with the demand they see from investors in the region.

“Nordic investors continue to seek simple and transparent access to a wider range of digital assets,” said Johanna Belitz, Head of Nordics at Valour. Elaine Buehler, Head of Product. He also said it is to create a balanced mix of products across established blockchains and new ideas like tokenized yields and modular systems.

Nadine Kenzelmann, the Managing Director, noted that the company is growing quickly and still follows regulation so it does not lose its trust and credibility.

Meanwhile, Valour ETPs are not only made available in Sweden but also in Germany, Switzerland, and France, showing its presence in Europe.

Mantra Launches $25M Om Buyback, Total Commitments Hits $45M

MANTRA Launches $25M OM Buyback, Total Commitments Hits $45M

by admin August 28, 2025

MANTRA has moved with the launch of a $25 million OM token buyback The buyback marks the first major tranche of commitments, executed by MANTRA AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of the MANTRA Chain Association.

According to the announcement, the program follows a $20 million investment from Inveniam, bringing total commitments to $45 million. With the move MANTRA’s boost’s OM’s long-term value while strengthening its position in the real world asset (RWA) sector.

Besides, the timing shows MANTRA’s push to deliver on its April 2025 pledge of initiating a strategic buyback. CEO and Founder John Patrick Mullin stated, “This buyback program is a pivotal moment for MANTRA. It is not merely a financial transaction but a signal of confidence from our existing partners and key stakeholders.”

Buyback Execution and Supply Impact

From August 27, MANTRA will steadily deploy the $25 million across multiple centralized exchanges. Independent trading firms will manage recurring buy orders at or near market prices. Moreover, each repurchased token will migrate to MANTRA’s mainnet and be staked with its validator set.

At the current market rates, the program is valued at around 110 million OM tokens. This means that the buyback is nearly 10% of OM’s circulating supply. Such a reduction could tighten the available liquidity, which might lead to an increase in price momentum over time.

Migration and Market Expansion

In addition, MANTRA is in the process of moving OM from Ethereum’s ERC-20 standard to its own native chain. So far, 30% of the ERC-20 supply has successfully made the switch. Mullin has warned that January 15, 2026, will be the “doomsday” for ERC-20 OM, urging token holders to migrate without delay.

This shift could lead to better liquidity on the MANTRA chain, which might enhance trading spreads and draw in more institutional investors. The whole RWA market is backing this movement, having jumped to $26.5 billion this year, a 70% increase.

Additionally, research from Binance suggests that tokenized stocks could potentially create a trillion-dollar market.

According to CoinMarketCap, OM is trading at $0.229985 at the time of writing, with a daily trading volume of around $137.9 million, which is a slight dip of 0.24%.

The $25 million buyback and migration initiative from MANTRA highlights strong support from institutional investors and reflects confidence in OM’s long-term viability.

New games industry body launches in India

New games industry body launches in India

by admin August 26, 2025

Nine India-based developers and publishers have formed the Indian Game Publishers and Developers Association (IGPDA).

Its aim is to foster “the creation of original made-in-India IP, bringing Indian stories into gaming, skill-building across the animation, visual effects, gaming and comics (AVGC) value chain, and enabling India to produce globally competitive AAA titles.”

The industry body has been structured to bring primary members (game developers, studios, publishers, and platforms) and partners (tools and tech providers, academia and training institutions, investors and “ecosystem enablers”) together to collaborate on game development.

The IGPDA’s founding members include:

  • Nazara Technologies
  • Gametion
  • nCore Games
  • Reliance Games
  • SuperGaming
  • Tara Gaming
  • Underdogs
  • Aeos Games
  • Dot9 Games

“The IGPDA will provide the platform that helps to unify the voice of the gaming industry and articulate its interests,” said nCore Games president Kaval Bombra.

“By advocating for our industry across the regulatory, investment, and operational landscape, we will ensure that India’s vibrant gaming sector continues to expand its presence responsibly and sustainably, both here and across the world.”

Tara Gaming co-founder and author Amish Tripathi added: “Video gaming is the biggest creative industry; it’s bigger than movies, books, music, and theatre combined – India gets very little of the pie.

“Much of our gaming industry presently is mobile-game-dominated, which has a large number of users but not enough revenue. The market is also dominated by Chinese games. But with our own games, based on our own culture, we could actually bring revenue to the country and also export our culture. IGPDA will supercharge this effort to make India a gaming superpower.”

The IGPDA has already proposed a state partnership with the Maharashtra government, in which it aims to “work with the [government] to make Mumbai the global games hub by attracting gaming companies to the state through policy support.”

“Our focus has been to drive strategic investments, foster global partnerships, and accelerate transformative infrastructure and technology initiatives in Maharashtra under the leadership of chief minister Devendra Fadnavis,” said Kaustubh Dhavse, chief advisor of Investments and Strategy to the chief minister of Maharashtra.

“We welcome this proactive initiative from the Indian games industry.”

The formation of the IGPDA comes after India’s Online Gaming Bill was passed as a proper legal act.

As IGN India reports, the bill will ensure that traditional video games and esports are separated from real money games, betting, and gambling apps and platforms.

The Online Gaming Bill “seeks to ban platforms that offer online betting, gambling, lottery, card games with money stakes, and fantasy sports with cash rewards.”

Saudi AI Firm Launches Halal Chatbot

by admin August 26, 2025

Companies with AI chatbots love to highlight their capability as translators, but they still default to English, both in function and in the information they are trained on. With that in mind, Humain, an AI company in Saudi Arabia, has now launched an Arabic-native chatbot.

The bot, called Humain Chat, runs on the Allam large language model, according to Bloomberg, which the company claims was trained on “one of the largest Arabic datasets ever assembled” and is the “world’s most advanced Arabic-first AI model.” The company says that it is not only fluent in the Arabic language, but also in “Islamic culture, values and heritage.” (If you have religious concerns about using Humain Chat, consult your local Imam.) The chatbot, which will be made available as an app, will first be available only in Saudi Arabia and currently supports bilingual conversations in Arabic and English, supporting dialects including Egyptian and Lebanese. The plan is for the app to roll out across the Middle East and eventually go global, with the goal of serving the nearly 500 million Arabic-speaking people across the world.

Humain took on Allam and the chatbot project after it was started by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, a government agency and tech regulator. For that reason, Bloomberg raises the possibility that Humain Chat may comply with censorship requests of the Saudi government and restrict the kind of information made available to users.

Which, yes, that seems unquestionably true. Saudi Arabia’s government regularly attempts to restrict the type of content made available to its populace. The country scored a 25 out of 100 on Freedom House’s 2024 “Freedom of the Net” report, attributed to its strict controls over online activity and restrictive speech laws that saw a women’s rights advocate jailed for more than a decade.

But we also should probably start explicitly framing American AI tools this way, too. Within its support documents, OpenAI explicitly states that ChatGPT is “skewed towards Western views.” Hell, you can watch Elon Musk try to fine-tune the ideology of xAI’s Grok in real time as he responds to Twitter users who think the chatbot is too woke—an effort that, at one point, led to Grok referring to itself as “MechaHitler.”

There’s certainly a difference between corporate and government control (though, increasingly, it’s worth asking if there actually is that big of a difference), but earlier this year, the Trump administration set out plans to regulate the kinds of things large language models are allowed to output if the companies that make them want federal contracts. That includes requirements to “reject radical climate dogma” and be free from “ideological biases” like “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” It’s not force, but it is coercion—and given that OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google have all given their chatbots to the government for basically nothing, it seems like they are more than happy to be coerced.

Sequans Launches $200 Million Equity Program to Buy Bitcoin

by admin August 26, 2025

French semiconductor maker Sequans Communications is doubling down on Bitcoin (BTC) with a fresh $200 million at-the-market equity offering, aiming to expand its crypto treasury and eventually reach 100,000 BTC by 2030.

The 4G and 5G chipmaker said in its SEC filing that it will issue American Depositary Shares (ADS) at its discretion, depending on market conditions. CEO Georges Karam said the move is designed to “optimize our treasury, increase Bitcoin per share, and deliver long-term value to shareholders.”

Sequans’ Current Bitcoin Holdings

According to BitBo data, Sequans currently holds 3,171 BTC worth around $349 million, making it Europe’s second-largest corporate Bitcoin holder, behind Germany’s Bitcoin Group SE Bitcoin Holdings, which owns 12,387 BTC. With proceeds from the new equity program, Sequans could buy another 1,814 BTC, bringing its total stash close to 5,000 BTC, on par with Semler Scientific.

The equity plan comes during a market dip, with Bitcoin trading at $109,862, down 13.3% from its $124,517 all-time high earlier this month. Other treasury giants are also buying the dip. Strategy added 3,081 BTC on Monday, while Japan’s Metaplanet picked up 103 BTC.

Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) treasury companies are gaining attention. BitMine Immersion Technologies now holds $7.5 billion in ETH, while SharpLink and The Ether Machine round out the top three. ETH adoption has fueled a 198% rally since April 9, narrowing the gap with Bitcoin this cycle.

Sequans closed Monday at $0.96, down 6.8% but was slightly recovering in after-hours trading.

Quid Miner launches new cloud mining contracts

by admin August 25, 2025

Disclosure: This article does not represent investment advice. The content and materials featured on this page are for educational purposes only.

XRP has surged on renewed ETF speculation and regulatory clarity, while platforms like Quid Miner are offering investors new ways to turn that momentum into steady daily income.

Summary

  • Ripple’s SEC settlement and global policy clarity have fueled institutional inflows and revived XRP’s role in cross-border payments.
  • Quid Miner enables mobile-first cloud mining, converting smartphones into “silent income engines” with AI-optimized allocation.
  • Investors gain predictable daily returns, green operations, and multi-coin support, complementing XRP’s growing market presence.

XRP has once again ignited the cryptocurrency market. Following Ripple’s long-awaited settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, years of legal uncertainty have finally lifted. XRP has surged nearly 40% in recent weeks, powered by renewed XRP ETF speculation and growing demand in cross-border payments.

The timing is reinforced by policy clarity: the U.S. CLARITY Act has been enacted, the European Union’s MiCA framework is fully in effect, and Germany’s BaFin has eased restrictions on institutional allocations.

Analysts note that institutional capital is now accelerating inflows, describing XRP as “a bridge finally completed, capital now has a direct road into global payments.” With its low fees and fast settlement times, XRP is consolidating its role as a “bridge asset” in international finance.

From volatility to predictable returns

Despite XRP’s bullish momentum, volatility continues to keep many investors on edge. For some, crypto trading feels like surfing giant waves, exhilarating when riding high, punishing when wiped out. Others stand onshore, watching opportunities sail past.

Today’s investors increasingly demand compliance, transparency, and steady returns. The focus is no longer just on price speculation but on building predictable income streams from crypto exposure.

Quid Miner: Turning phones into “silent mines”

This is where cloud mining provides a solution. Rather than operating noisy hardware or paying huge electricity bills, investors can generate daily automated earnings directly from their smartphones. Think of it as turning phones into a “silent wealth engine,” working 24/7 in the background.

Quid Miner, founded in the UK in 2010 and offering mobile-first cloud mining since 2018, delivers exactly that. Today, it serves users in over 180 countries, operating under strict international compliance standards.

Its AI-powered allocation system dynamically distributes computing power across multiple mining pools and cryptocurrencies, ensuring optimized performance. For beginners, it offers a seamless entry point; for seasoned investors, it’s a low-barrier, sustainable complement to active trading.

Why investors choose Quid Miner

  1. AI-optimized mining — Smart allocation across pools for consistent yield
  2. Enterprise-level security — McAfee® and Cloudflare® safeguards with advanced encryption
  3. Multi-coin support — XRP, ETH, DOGE, LTC, USDT, SOL, BCH, and more
  4. Green operations — 100% renewable energy, aligned with global ESG priorities
  5. User rewards — $15 sign-up bonus, $0.60 daily check-in reward, plus referral commissions up to 4.5%

How to start in 3 steps

  1. Register free — Create an account and instantly receive $15 in mining credits.
  2. Choose a plan — Flexible USD-pegged contracts designed for different budgets and goals.
  3. Start mining — Revenue is credited daily; withdraw at $100 or reinvest to compound returns.

A turning point for XRP investors

With regulatory barriers lifted and ETF momentum building, XRP is no longer just a speculative play, it is positioning itself as critical infrastructure for global payments. For investors, the opportunity lies not only in price appreciation but in building stable, compliant income streams.

Quid Miner offers exactly that, transforming XRP’s renewed momentum into predictable daily cash flow. Instead of chasing every chart movement, investors can let their smartphones act as 24/7 income engines, bringing stability to the unpredictable world of crypto.

Microsoft launches Copilot AI function in Excel, but warns not to use it in ‘any task requiring accuracy or reproducibility’

by admin August 23, 2025

Certain Windows 365 Copilot users now have access to a new feature in Excel that lets you use Microsoft’s Copilot AI to generate formulas, but you might want to be careful how you use it. Microsoft is already warning users that the AI might not always be accurate.

The new “COPILOT” function allows you to skip writing Excel formulas yourself by telling Copilot what you want to do and the cells you want to use. For instance, you could type in “=COPILOT(“Summarize this feedback”, A2:A20)” to have Copilot generate a formula that summarizes the content in a column of cells. The examples Microsoft suggests in the support page for the COPILOT function focus on classifying, summarizing, and generating content.

However, Microsoft specifically warns not to use it for “any task requiring accuracy or reproducibility,” like numerical calculations. Microsoft also advises against using the feature for “financial reporting, legal documents, or other high-stakes scenarios,” so basically most of the things people turn to Excel for.

Related articles

Much like with other generative AI tools, if you’re using the COPILOT function, you need to keep an eye out for the AI hallucinating strange results or misunderstanding your prompts, which of course calls its basic utility into question.

Aside from accuracy, privacy is also an obvious concern here. Microsoft says in the announcement blog post that “Your data sent through the COPILOT function is never used to train or improve the AI models. The information you input remains confidential and is used solely to generate your requested output.”

This is still a beta feature, so Microsoft is still refining it with the help of user feedback and it isn’t widely available yet. Right now, it’s only available to Microsoft 365 Copilot Beta Channel users. Functionality is also somewhat limited even beyond the accuracy concerns—the COPILOT function is currently maxed out at 100 calls per 10 minutes or 300 calls per hour. It can’t access “live web data or internal business documents,” either.

Chipotle Launches ‘Zipotle’ Drone Deliveries in Texas

by admin August 23, 2025

In brief

  • Chipotle is launching a drone delivery service with Zipline
  • The test is taking place in Rowlett, Texas, a suburb of Dallas.
  • Don’t look for flying burritos in more populated areas anytime soon.

Your triple steak, double rice, extra queso monster is now cleared for takeoff.

Well, at least in one Texas town: Chipotle just announced that it’s teaming with Zipline, an autonomous drone delivery company, to bring digital orders straight to customers’ homes in the Dallas area. The pilot program, “Zipotle,” kicks off this week with a small group of early access users before a wider rollout in the coming weeks.

Customers in Rowlett, Texas can order Chipotle through the Zipline app. Once the food is ready, employees load it into a “Zipping Point,” where one of Zipline’s electric aircraft, called Zips, snags the package. The drone then flies directly to the customer’s home, hovers about 300 feet overhead, and lowers the order with a tether, dropping it in the yard, driveway, or wherever.

Today, Chipotle announced autonomous burrito delivery. They are calling it “Zipotle”.
As someone who spent years living off burrito bowls, I can’t believe I can now get Chipotle delivered by a robot in less than 10 minutes. @ChipotleTweets pic.twitter.com/xk8apO2gfO

— Keller Rinaudo Cliffton (@Keller) August 22, 2025

The drones can carry up to 5.5 pounds per trip, with capacity increasing to 8 pounds over time. A triple steak, double rice, extra queso monster weighs in at two pounds, and tips the scales at the higher end of the fast-food chain’s burritos.

Why drones?

Chipotle says the goal is to cut delivery times while keeping food “dine-in fresh.” The company also emphasized Zipline’s zero-emissions aircraft and quiet operation.

“Zipotle is a quick and convenient source of delivery that lets guests enjoy our real food from places that are traditionally challenging to serve, including backyards and public parks,” Curt Garner, Chipotle’s president and chief strategy and technology officer, said.

Zipline CEO Keller Rinaudo Cliffton added: “You tap a button, and minutes later food magically appears—hot, fresh, and ultra-fast. What once felt like science fiction is soon going to become totally normal.”

Zipline isn’t new to high-stakes deliveries. The company first made its name flying blood and medical supplies to remote hospitals in Rwanda and now operates in four continents, completing over 1.6 million deliveries and logging 100 million commercial miles. Expanding into food and retail is its latest frontier, with partnerships aimed at redefining the “last mile” of logistics.

And crypto-loving Chipotle isn’t new to innovation. Its stock has soared 264% during the past decade, outperforming the restaurant industry in in sales and profits, per Yahoo Finance.

Not so fast

Don’t look for drone-based burrito delivery in New York City any time soon. The suburban landscape of Rowlett, with its wide yards and fewer obstacles, makes an ideal testing ground. But in dense urban areas where delivery demand is highest, drones face bigger challenges: tight airspace, tangle of power lines, and FAA restrictions on beyond-visual-line-of-sight flights.

There’s also the question of public tolerance. One or two drones dropping meals into backyards may be a novelty; hundreds buzzing over city blocks every evening could quickly feel intrusive. And from a customer’s perspective, tried-and-true scooter and car couriers are often simpler and cheaper.

But if the experiment succeeds in the suburbs, it could signal how aerial logistics slowly expand. And with any luck, you’ll also be able to get Tums via drone delivery, too.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Launches On September 4

by admin August 23, 2025

After years of waiting, today’s Hollow Knight: Silksong presentation gave fans what they’ve been clamoring for: a release date. The long-awaited sequel will launch on September 4.

The brief showcase presented an impressive gameplay montage showing off protagonist Hornet’s solo adventure. Check it out below.

Hollow Knight: Silksong was first announced in 2019, originally envisioned as paid DLC for Hollow Knight before developer Team Cherry expanded its scope to a full-fledged sequel. Silksong stars Hornet, a hunter and supporting character in the first game, as she explores a new kingdom boasting over 150 new enemies to slay. The game has spent years quietly coming together, with only the rare trailer or update during this time, lending to its near-mythical status. After suffering several delays, Xbox announced this summer the game would arrive by this holiday season; turns out they were correct.

Silksong is currently playable for attendees at Gamescom, and senior editor Wesley LeBlanc has played it. You can read his impressions of the game’s first level here.

Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
