Chainlink hits new all-time high of $100b in Total Value Secured
Crypto Trends

Here’s why Chainlink price is tumbling as liquidations jump

by admin September 15, 2025

Chainlink price has tumbled over the last three consecutive days, moving from last week’s high of $25.65 to $23.50.

Summary

  • LINK price plunged as the crypto market retreated.
  • It also dropped as whales continued to dump the token.
  • On the positive side, the coin has strong fundamentals.

Chainlink (LINK), the biggest oracle in the crypto industry, dropped as sentiment in the crypto market worsened ahead of the Federal Reserve and as investors booked profits following last week’s rally.

Chainlink price crashes as liquidations jump

The decline also happened as liquidations jumped. CoinGlass data showed that liquidations rose to over $3.3 million, the highest level since Sept. 1. These liquidations led to more selling pressure.

LINK price also dropped as the crypto market remained in the red. Bitcoin (BTC) slipped to $115,000, while top coins like Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) were down by over 3% in the last 24 hours.

Additionally, there are signs that whales are exiting their LINK positions, possibly as they book profits or expect a crash. Nansen data shows that these investors now hold 4.71 million tokens, down from 5.27 million last month.

Still, Chainlink has some of the best fundamentals in the crypto industry. It is the biggest oracle, helping companies and other organizations bring their off-chain data on-chain. For example, the U.S. government has started bringing its vast data trove on-chain using its platform.

Chainlink has also started to build its LINK reserves using its on-chain and off-chain fees. It has now accumulated tokens worth over $6.5 million, a trend that will continue as its network fees rise amid growing ecosystem adoption.

Chainlink has some of the most important partnerships in the crypto industry. It has a deal with JPMorgan, the biggest banking group in the United States, and UBS, the biggest player in wealth management. It also has a deal with Swift, a network that is looking for ways to improve how companies send money internationally.

LINK price technical analysis

The 12-hour time frame chart shows that the Chainlink price has jumped from a low of $10.13 in April to $23 today. It has remained above the 50-period and 100-period Exponential Moving Averages.

LINK price has also formed a symmetrical triangle pattern, whose two lines are nearing their confluence. It has also formed a bullish pennant pattern.

Therefore, the token will likely have a strong bullish breakout, potentially to last month’s high of $27.83, up by about 20% above the current level.

Figure Shares Jump 24% From IPO Price in Crypto Lender’s Nasdaq Debut

by admin September 14, 2025

In brief

  • Figure shares closed 24% above their IPO price at $31.11 on Thursday.
  • The company uses a blockchain-based platform to facilitate loans.
  • Analysts foresee the IPO advancing tokenization narratives in the mainstream.

Figure Technologies shares closed above its initial offering price on Thursday, the latest indication of investors’ interest in crypto-native firms on Wall Street.

The firm’s stock price rose to $31.11, a 24% gain compared to its boosted IPO price of $25, according to Yahoo Finance. That gave it a valuation of $6.58 billion. Figure shares initially changed hands at $36 apiece.

Figure CEO Michael Tannenbaum told Decrypt that the company is showing Wall Street how blockchains can be used to create more efficient markets for real-world assets, while also helping investors better grasp concepts like tokenization.

Figure uses a blockchain-based platform to facilitate loans, and it collapses a process that takes most competitors a month and a half to complete into a handful of days, he said. It usually costs someone $12,000 to take out a mortgage, but Figure’s platform can do it for $1,000, he added.

“Those are like real savings for consumers, and I think it’s a great example of using some of the principles of blockchain,” Tannenbaum said. “There’s a lot of great blockchain companies out there, but I think we’re unique, in that people can really see our results in the real world.”

Figure’s platform has $11.7 billion in outstanding loans, serving as the largest market for private credit on-chain, per data from RWA.xyz. Established in 2018, the firm says it has originated $16 billion in loans alongside its partners since inception.

Figure’s IPO could advance narratives around tokenization among traditional investors, according to Gerry O’Shea, head of global market insights at crypto asset manager Hashdex. The interest in Figure’s Nasdaq debut speaks to that, he told Decrypt.

“Investors are demonstrating a belief that digital assets will disrupt some of more traditional financial services,” he said. “It’s part of a longer-term narrative that we’re starting to see more investors appreciate: This technology isn’t going away.”

Some IPOs have already shaped narratives this year. Stablecoin issuer Circle debuted on the New York Stock Exchange in June, and its stock price initially soared. At the time, analysts viewed it as one of the only ways for investors to gain exposure to the emergent sector.

“Investors are looking at utility over speculation with excitement about Figure’s cash-flowing, real-world credit platform that is blockchain-enabled,” Bitwise Senior Investment Strategist Juan Leon told Decrypt, noting that the pop lands during “the busiest U.S. IPO week since 2021.”

The recent passage of the GENIUS Act, a federal framework for stablecoins, also removed key policy overhangs for crypto payments, tokenized credit, and capital-markets rails, he said.

On Thursday, Figure became the ninth major crypto firm to go public in the U.S. this year, but investors won’t have to wait long for another. The Winklevoss brothers will have a chance to ring the Nasdaq’s opening bell when crypto exchange Gemini goes public on Friday.

NFT sales show modest recovery, Pudgy Penguins jump 110%

by admin September 14, 2025

After weeks of steep declines in participation, the non-fungible token (NFT) market is showing early signs of stabilization, buoyed by a broader crypto rebound.

While overall buyer and seller activity has plunged nearly 70%, transaction volumes are creeping higher, and specific blockchains and collections are breaking out with double-digit growth.

At last check on Saturday, Bitcoin (BTC) topped $115,800 — up 5.2% over the past seven days — and Ethereum (ETH) hovered above $4,600, up 9.1% for the week.

Summary

  • NFT sales posted modest 4.7% recovery to $106.6 million
  • Market participation collapsed with buyer and seller counts dropping around 70%

According to data from CryptoSlam, this marks the first positive growth in several weeks following a series of declines.

Market participation has contracted sharply, with NFT buyers falling by 69.84% to 180,693, and NFT sellers declining by 70.87% to 123,713. NFT transactions have increased by 2.60% to 1,754,295.

Ethereum has surged to the $4,700 level. The global crypto market cap is now $4.07 trillion, up from last week’s market cap of $3.81 trillion.

Mythos Chain sales jump over 40%

The buyer count declined across all blockchains, with BNB Chain leading at 84.35% growth as the only platform posting gains. At the same time, others saw drops ranging from 65% to 80%.

  • Ethereum maintains the lead with $34.1 million in sales and dropped 7.45% from the previous week. Ethereum’s wash trading has fallen by 52.47% to $3.1 million.

Shiba Inu price eyes a 20% jump after major Shibarium update

by admin September 13, 2025

Shiba Inu price continued its recovery on Saturday, Sep. 13, as the total value locked in Shibarium network rose and as SHIB balances on exchanges retreated.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) rose to $0.000014, its highest point in over a month and 25% above its lowest level this month.

Summary

  • Shiba Inu price continued rising on Saturday.
  • Shibarium, its layer-2 network, confirmed it was hacked.
  • The amount of SHIB tokens on exchanges dropped.

Shibarium TVL jumps amid ShibaSwap hacking concerns

SHIB price rose as DeFi Llama data showed that the total value locked in the network jumped after an important update. The TVL jumped by almost 40% in the last 24 hours to $2.28 million. It rose to the highest point since June this year.

The jump occurred after the developers released a new ShibaSwap upgrade designed to enhance its performance in the DeFi industry. It introduced a unified trading module placed on the homepage.

Hey #ShibArmy! 🎉

We just dropped the brand new #ShibaSwap UI/UX and seriously, it’s the fastest and smoothest experience ever.

Loading is lightning quick, swapping or adding/removing liquidity is super easy, and navigating feels like a breeze.

By the way, there’s a new…

— Nika (@atul_agrr) September 12, 2025

Shibarium also standardized the process of forming liquidity on the network. Most importantly, it enabled the network to become multi-chain, extending it to other chains like Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum.

Shibarium’s TVL also jumped after an attempted hack on ShibaSwap, the most prominent dApp on the network. In the attack, a hacker used a flash loan to purchase 4.6 million BONE token after accessing validator keys. He then achieved majority validator power and signed a malicious state to drain assets from the bridge.

In an update, Shibizen noted that only a small amount of ETH/SHIB was moved, and the 4.6 million BONE remained locked and frozen. This explains why the BONE token jumped by over 40% on Saturday.

Shibarium Bridge – Investor Q&A

Was Shibarium hacked?
No. The protocol itself was not compromised. The issue came from stolen validator keys used to push a fake state.

Were funds lost?
Only a small amount of ETH/SHIB was moved. The majority of assets
— including 4.6M BONE —… https://t.co/5BIuR12R6a

— Shibarium | SHIB.IO (@Shibizens) September 13, 2025

Meanwhile, the amount of Shiba Inu coins on exchanges continued falling. This indicates that investors are not selling.

There are currently over 283 trillion tokens, down from 292 trillion in August.

SHIB price chart | Source: crypto.news

The daily timeframe shows that the SHIB price has recovered in the past few days, moving from a low of $0.00001170 last week to $0.000015.

SHIB remains above the ascending trendline that connects the lowest levels since April this year. It has jumped above the 50-day moving average, while the two lines of the Percentage Price Oscillator have moved above the zero line.

Therefore, the coin will likely continue rising as bulls target the key resistance at $0.00001770, which is a 20% increase from the current level.

Crypto Market Prediction: XRP to Try $5 Jump, Ethereum (ETH) Begins $5,000 Journey, Bitcoin (BTC) to Stop Before $115,000?

by admin September 13, 2025

The market is certainly getting pressured by bears, as we covered in our previous crypto market prediction. They overtook bulls’ attempts to push assets to a recovery rally, but things remain at a pivotal point: Bitcoin is holding above its nearest support with weakening momentum, Ethereum continues to struggle with sustaining bids above key resistance zones as liquidity thins, and XRP is facing sharper downside risk given its inability to break the local trendline.

XRP pressured by trendline

The result of XRP’s latest test of a critical resistance level may determine the direction of its next significant move. XRP is currently battling a declining trendline that has repelled multiple rallies since late July, with the price hovering around $3.06. The aggressive target of $5 could once again be on the table, if a confirmed breakout here opens the door to a more extensive bullish expansion.

After falling below $2.80, XRP has been gradually hitting higher lows on the daily chart, demonstrating the tenacity of buyers at important support zones. Deeper corrections are kept at bay by the 200-day EMA around $2.55, and the 50-day EMA around $2.94, which remain strong backstops.

XRP/USDT Chart by TradingView

With the help of growing trading volume (more than 66 million trades per day), and a marginally strengthening RSI at 57, which indicates that the market is not yet in overbought territory, momentum is gradually moving upward. The crucial conflict is taking place between $3.00 and $3.20.

The trajectory toward $3.50, and eventually $5.00, becomes more feasible if bulls are able to break above this range. It would take both technical confirmation and consistent buying pressure — possibly from institutional players or rekindled consumer interest in altcoins — for such a move to occur. On the other hand, another pullback would probably occur if the current resistance is not overcome.

A decline below these levels would expose XRP to a more severe correction toward $2.55. The key support levels are $2.90 and $2.79. XRP is currently at a critical juncture. It will be clear from the upcoming trading sessions whether it breaks free and moves toward a $5 target or keeps consolidating under resistance. It is important for investors to anticipate increased volatility as the market tests these crucial levels.

Ethereum can regain it

Ethereum is displaying fresh strength as it approaches the crucial $5,000 threshold, which has not been reached since the previous cycle’s highs. With its strong uptrend and current price of $4,561, ETH appears to be poised for a sustained push toward new heights.

Ethereum’s tenacity is demonstrated by the daily chart. With strong momentum, ETH has now broken higher after consolidating in $4,200-$4,400 territory. In order to maintain ETH’s bullish structure, the 50-day EMA ($4,209) remains a dynamic support, and the 100-day EMA ($3,682) and 200-day EMA ($3,249) stay firmly below. Moving averages in alignment support the strength of the trend and indicate that dips are being aggressively bought.

You Might Also Like

Recent inflows suggest that investors are positioning themselves ahead of Ethereum’s next significant move, as volume has stabilized at healthy levels. ETH is neither overbought nor exhausted, according to the RSI at 59, which suggests that there is still potential for more upside before overheated conditions arise.

The immediate resistance, a significant psychological and technical barrier, is located close to $4,800. Ethereum’s journey toward $5,000, where momentum traders and institutions may increase buying pressure, could be sparked by a clear breakout above this level.

With medium-term targets extending toward $5,500-$6,000, ETH may enter a new price discovery phase once $5,000 is breached. To keep up its positive momentum, ETH needs to stay above $4,200 on the downside. The wider trend is still in place as long as ETH trades above its 200-day EMA, but failure to do so might lead to a retest of the $3,800 zone.

Bitcoin breaks in

Although Bitcoin is now trading at $115,207, there are indications that the rally may stall before hitting the resistance level of $115,000-$116,000. Even though Bitcoin has demonstrated resilience in recent weeks, it has not gained the kind of traction required to advance toward the psychological level of $120,000.

This slowdown is evident in the daily chart. Bitcoin has been consistently under selling pressure as it has attempted to recover above $116,000. The 100-day EMA at $112,285, and the 50-day EMA at $114551, continue to offer support, but the absence of follow-through purchases suggests that traders are hesitating.

In the short term, Bitcoin has some stability because the 200-day EMA at $111,035 is still functioning as a deeper support level. This caution is reinforced by volume trends. Volume has decreased in recent trading sessions, indicating that buyers are running out of options, and that significant institutional inflows have not yet resumed.

You Might Also Like

Although momentum is still weak, indicating indecision rather than confidence, the RSI at 57 indicates that Bitcoin is not overbought. It is likely that Bitcoin will retrace toward $112,000, and possibly $110,000, if it cannot break decisively above that level. A confirmed breakout above $116,000 might pave the way for a move toward $120,000, but there is little chance that it will be sustained in the absence of fresh market inflows.

The current setup advises investors to exercise caution. Although the market is indicating that the road to $120,000 will not be easy, Bitcoin’s overall upward trend will continue as long as the price stays above the 200-day EMA. Short term, Bitcoin might be capped below $115,000, so it is important to keep an eye on this area for rejection or an infrequent breakout attempt.

Jump Space Price And Update Roadmap Revealed, Including Melee Weapons And First-Person

by admin September 12, 2025

Jump Space is almost ready to exit space port and enter early access. Ahead of the game’s debut later this month, Keepsake Games has set the price for Jump Space and laid out the update calendar well into 2026.

On Bluesky, Keepsake announced that Jump Space’s early access release will be available for $20 on Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 19. Chapter 1: The Resistance Coalition will begin at the start of early access, with Chapter 2: Atira Strikes Back launching by early 2026. In a series of short updates in that time frame, Keepsake plans to introduce text chat, hangar vendors, a ship shield revamp, melee weapons, an expanded story, new missions, photo mode, and other additions.

The roadmap for Jump Space’s updates.

In Q1 2026, Chapter 3: Secrets of the Telmari will bring support for a first-person mode, more sectors, a scanner revamp, voice chat, new enemies, and a ground boss into the game. There are plans for Chapter 4: Heart of Corruption before the game exits early access. However, there are no dates or concrete details about when that might occur.

Until fairly recently, this game was known as Jump Ship before the name was changed over trademark issues. Jump Space is a co-op game that brings together up to four players as the crew of a ship that can control and repair their shared vessel. The gameplay resembles Left 4 Dead and Sea of Thieves, with some additional sci-touches touches like planetary exploration and space walks. It’s a dangerous galaxy out there, and players will run into trouble when enemies appear during on-foot encounters or during space combat when the crew is still on their ship. However, the game is strictly PvE, rather than PvP.

Keepsake Games has previously mentioned that Jump Space will feature several “handcrafted missions with random elements” to keep the game fresh. More than 1 million players have wishlisted Jump Space on Steam. For now, the game will only be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Jump Space devs outline a bevy of early access roadmap updates and an easy-on-your-wallet price point

by admin September 9, 2025

Jump Space! It’s a game with a name that’ll have you thinking, “wait, that’s not what it was called, was it?” And you’d be right about that, as due to some trademark problems, the game was rebranded from Jump Ship to its new name Jump Space back in August. Later that same month, developer Keepsake Games announced the game would be launching into early access September 19th. And now, as in today September 9th now, Keepsake Games have shared an early access roadmap for the game, as well as how much it’ll cost you.

Right, let’s get the pricing out of the way. It’ll be a pretty reasonable $19.99 / £16.75 / €19.50, making it the latest anticipated September release to be priced in a way that’ll have you wondering why they’re not charging more. On to the roadmap!

At launch, the sci-fi shooter will include nine mission types. These include one where you’ll try not to kick the bucket while fending off a bunch of robots, where you have to hunt for loot, and another where you’ll be raiding some baddies’ bases. There’ll be more than 50 sectors to play in four galaxy regions, and you’ll have two ships to choose from with 26 ship components to make them a bit more custom.

That’s all a part of Chapter 1, The Resistance Coalition. Chapter 2: Atira Strikes back will bring a lot more to the game like multiple endless modes, sector modifiers, melee weapons, more story and sectors, new enemies, mission types, a photo mode, offline support and a lot more. These will be coming through multiple updates through to Q1, 2026, but a couple of features from this chapter, text chat and lobby browser, will be available at launch.

Then after that, Chapter 3: Secrets of the Telmari will add in a first-person pilot view, a scanner revamp, even more new enemies and mission types, a new ship, ground boss, and again, even more. These will start to be added from Q1 2026 onwards until Chapter 4: Heart of Corruption, which doesn’t have a release window or any revealed features just yet. That’s a lot of bloody stuff!

As of now, Keepsake doesn’t know when early access will end and the 1.0 release will release, so you’ll just have to join them for the ride in the meantime.

Jump Space launches into early access September 19th on Steam.

There’ll Be No De-Aging Jump Scares in ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’

by admin September 3, 2025

The Conjuring: Last Rites is already scary sight unseen for Conjuring fans, because it’s due to be the final film in the mainline Conjuring series. But if you’ve watched any of the movies it’s spawned since 2013, you know they aim to shock and terrify, with curse-flinging witches and demonic nuns looming out of the darkness. That said, one thing you can rest assured won’t be in Last Rites: unintentional jump scares wrought by uncanny valley de-aging technology.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Last Rites director and Conjuring series veteran Michael Chaves teased a meaty flashback scene featuring younger versions of Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in all the films. He fully intended to use those actors in the scene, then apply de-aging tech to make them appear decades younger.

However, he admitted, his confidence in that approach had already begun to waver when Farmiga herself chimed in. “Out of the blue, Vera gives me a call and, almost like she’s a psychic herself, she’s just like, ‘You know what? I have a feeling on this. I think you should cast it,’” Chaves told EW.

He continued. “The way [Vera] articulated it was… When you see Patrick and Vera, there’s comfort. They are kind of sacred and everything works out and you’re very aware of them. If you’re seeing a new Ed and Lorraine Warren, something is a little unsteady about that. I think it makes it a little bit more off-kilter.”

It took some convincing at the studio level, but the new approach prevailed, and Madison Lawlor and Orion Smith came aboard as the younger Warrens.

They enjoyed the experience so much they’d both be up for returning as the characters if, say, The Conjuring ever did a full-on prequel movie. “I would love to explore what the beginning of their careers looked like, because I think that is so fascinating how they found their footing and built this really amazing empire,” Lawlor said.

So far no word on whether or not that’s in the cards, but you can see Ed and Lorraine Warren—at different ages, played by different actors—when The Conjuring: Last Rites hits theaters September 5.

Polygon price to surge 45% as NFT sales, addresses, stablecoins jump

by admin August 31, 2025

Polygon price flipped a crucial resistance level as non-fungible token sales, stablecoin supply, and active addresses in the network jumped.

Summary

  • Polygon price rose as third-party data showed its ecosystem was growing.
  • NFT sales and buyers in its network jumped by double digits in the last 7 days.
  • The stablecoin supply in the Polygon ecosystem jumped to a record high.

Polygon (POL) jumped to a high of $0.2796, its highest level since March 3, and 80% above its lowest point this year.

Polygon active addresses and NFT sales rebound

Third-party data shows that the Polygon ecosystem network is making some improvements. According to CryptoSlam, NFT sales in its network jumped by 14% in the last seven days to $18.9 million as buyers soared 64% to 65,626.

This growth was driven by Courtyard, whose NFT sales jumped by 17% to $17 million. Its sales were much higher than the other three collections — CryptoPunks, DMarket, and Pudgy Penguin, combined.

NFT sales in other chains like Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and BNB Chain dropped by 13%, 6.7%, and 54%, respectively.

Polygon price also jumped as Nansen data revealed that the number of active users in the network had jumped. They jumped by 10% in the last 7 days to 2.4 million, which is notable as most chains, including Solana and Base, lost active users.

Polygon price also rose after the US government moved some of its data to it and other chains. In its statement, the Commerce Department said that publishing the numbers on-chain helped to demonstrate the wide utility of blockchain technology.

Meanwhile, DeFi Llama data shows that Polygon is becoming a powerhouse in the stablecoin industry. The stablecoin supply has surged to a record high of $1.32 billion, a notable development following the recent signing of the GENIUS Act. Most importantly, Polygon now supplies more than half of all non-USD stablecoins.
