Binance’s CZ Reveals Best Way to Improve Economy, Hinting At Crypto Reserve

by admin September 11, 2025

Changpeng Zhao, the founder and former chief executive officer of the world’s largest exchange, Binance, has taken to his official X account to comment on the news of the Indian rupee crashing against the US dollar.

CZ shared his hot take on what is happening with the global economies at the moment, hinting that crypto may serve as a good tool and help countries prosper.

“The best way to improve economy” from CZ

CZ commented on the recent drop of the Indian rupee as it has reached a new low against the US dollar. In his tweet, Zhao spoke about protectionism and how it can damage the economy.

The USD increased by almost 0.5% against the rupee today, which aligns with the 25% trade tariff on the import of Indian goods implemented by the US government recently. CZ hinted that this protectionism is always harmful for the economy, since people suffer: “Protectionism is always at the expense of the people, ie, the economy.”

The best way to improve the economy, according to CZ, is “to adopt innovation.”

Known as an advocate of blockchain and crypto, CZ could be hinting that India should start creating a national crypto reserve. After he visited Kazakhstan earlier this year, the country recently announced its plans to start building a Bitcoin reserve. CZ was invited as a member of the national crypto council in both Kazakhstan and Pakistan this year.

SOL price forms rare bullish setup hinting at rally to $237

by admin September 8, 2025

SOL price rose 16% over the past month as it traded within a symmetrical triangle pattern, a breakout from which could likely push it to as high as $237 over the coming days.

Summary

  • SOL price has rebounded 33% since hitting its August low.
  • The token looks poised to confirm a bullish breakout from a symmetrical triangle pattern.
  • NFT sales on the Solana network have picked up pace over the last 24 hours.

According to data from crypto.news, Solana (SOL) rallied to an intraday high of $208.5 on Sep. 8 morning, Asian time, before settling at $207.7 as of press time. At this price, it is up 33% above its August low and nearly 100% higher than its lowest point this year.

The token’s gains over the past month came amid growing demand from derivative traders. For instance, SOL futures open interest has risen to $12.9 billion as of press time, up from $9.5 billion on the same day last month.

Its weighted funding rate has also remained consistently positive since Aug. 7, a sign that derivative investors have remained bullish on SOL’s short-term price outlook.

Amid such bullish sentiment, SOL price now looks poised to confirm a bullish setup on a rare pattern that has been forming on the 4-hour chart.

Notably, SOL price had been trading within a symmetrical triangle pattern since late August. The pattern is formed when the price makes lower highs and higher lows, converging into a narrowing range that indicates a period of consolidation.

At press time, SOL is trading within spitting distance of confirming a break above the upper trendline of the pattern.

A look at the momentum indicators strengthens the possibility of such an occurrence. The MACD line has moved above the signal line, a factor that points to a strengthening uptrend in the short term. Further, the Relative Strength Index has been trending upwards and currently lies at 56, signaling a shift from a neutral to bullish trend with still room to run before hitting overbought levels.

Hence, if SOL price manages a clean breakout over $208.8, which marks the upper boundary of the symmetrical pattern, it would confirm a bullish breakout, with a rally to as high as $237 in the cards, a projected target based on the height of the pattern.

However, the setup will be invalidated if SOL price falls below the lower trendline of the pattern, which could then turn into a bearish breakdown, potentially leading to further losses.

One of the top catalysts that could support SOL’s price gains over the coming days is the imminent Nasdaq listing of SOL Strategies, a firm that was previously trading on the over-the-counter (OTC) market. This transition to a major U.S. exchange would mark a big milestone for the company and is expected to enhance the company’s visibility and ability to raise funds.

SOL Strategies has emerged as one of the largest institutional holders of Solana, with a current stash exceeding $87 million worth of SOL tokens. In addition to its existing position, the firm has unveiled plans to raise up to $500 million to further expand its SOL reserves.

A successful listing on Nasdaq would likely facilitate that capital raise, indirectly benefiting Solana by tightening available supply and signaling deeper institutional confidence in the network.

Beyond the listing, regulatory developments could serve as another bullish tailwind.

Several SOL-based ETF proposals are currently under review by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. If approved, these ETFs could pave the way for broader institutional access to Solana, potentially unleashing significant inflows into the asset class.

Adding to the bullish narrative, Solana’s NFT ecosystem is showing signs of resurgence. Over the past 24 hours, sales volume for Solana-based NFTs has surged by 47%, accompanied by a similar rise in the number of active buyers.

This rebound comes after a period of declining interest, and could reignite retail and speculative demand, further strengthening Solana’s market momentum.

Princeton scientists bend wireless signals around walls, hinting at wild terabit data speeds in homes, cars, and crowded cities

by admin August 27, 2025

  • High-frequency signals collapse when walls or people block their path
  • Neural networks learned beam bending by simulating countless basketball practice shots
  • Metasurfaces integrated into transmitters shaped signals with extreme precision

For years, researchers have struggled with some vulnerabilities in ultrahigh-frequency communications.

Ultrahigh frequencies are so fragile that signals that promise immense bandwidth can collapse when confronted with even modest obstacles, as walls, bookcases, or simply moving people can bring cutting-edge transmissions to a halt.

However, a new approach from Princeton engineers suggests those barriers may not be permanent roadblocks, although the leap from experiment to real-world deployment still remains uncertain.

From physics experiments to adaptive transmissions

The idea of bending signals to avoid obstacles is not new. Engineers have long worked with “Airy beams,” which can curve in controlled ways, but applying them to wireless data has been hampered by practical limits.

Haoze Chen, one of the researchers, says most prior work focused on showing the beams could exist, not on making them usable in unpredictable environments.

The problem is, every curve depends on countless variables, leaving no straightforward way to scan or compute the ideal path.

To make the beams useful, researchers borrowed an analogy from sports. Instead of calculating each shot, basketball players learn through repeated practice what works in different contexts.

Chen explained the Princeton team aimed for a similar process, replacing trial-and-error athletes with a neural network designed to adapt its responses.

Rather than physically transmitting beams for every possible obstacle, doctoral student Atsutse Kludze built a simulator that allowed the system to practice virtually.

This approach greatly reduced training time while still grounding the models in the physics of Airy beams.

Once trained, the system was able to adapt extremely quickly, using a specially designed metasurface to shape the transmissions.

Unlike reflectors, which depend on external structures, the metasurface can be integrated directly into the transmitter, which allowed beams to curve around sudden obstructions, maintaining connectivity without requiring clear line-of-sight.

The team demonstrated that the neural network could select the most effective beam path in cluttered and shifting scenarios, something conventional methods cannot achieve.

It also claims this is a step toward harnessing the sub-terahertz band, a part of the spectrum that could support up to ten times more data than today’s systems.

Lead investigator Yasaman Ghasempour argued that addressing obstacles is essential before such bandwidth can be used for demanding applications like immersive virtual reality or fully autonomous transport.

“This work tackles a long-standing problem that has prevented the adoption of such high frequencies in dynamic wireless communications to date,” Ghasempour said.

Still, challenges remain. Translating laboratory demonstrations into commercial devices requires scaling the hardware, refining the training methods, and proving that adaptive beams can handle real-world complexity at speed.

The promise of wireless links approaching terabit-class throughput may be visible, but the path around the obstacles, both physical and technological, is still winding.
