Wordle today: Answer and hint #1455 for June 13

by admin June 13, 2025

There’s a clue for today’s Wordle waiting below, here to help you win. Take a peek whenever you like—it’s designed to give you great ideas and set you on the right path, not instantly give the game away, so make sure you use it if you feel yourself struggling. And of course the Jun 13 (1455) answer’s here too, ready whenever you are.

That definitely wasn’t my fastest Wordle clear of the year, but I still enjoyed myself. What started as, well, a non-starter filled with grey letters soon turned into… more grey letters, but once those were out of the way I hit my stride. Pushing one letter just a little to the side made everything fall into place. Fantastic.

Wordle help: 3 tips for beating Wordle every day

A good starting word can be the difference between victory and defeat with the daily puzzle, but once you’ve got the basics, it’s much easier to nail down those Wordle wins. And as there’s nothing quite like a small victory to set you up for the rest of the day, here are a few tips to help set you on the right path:

  • A good opening guess should contain a mix of unique consonants and vowels.
  • Narrow down the pool of letters quickly with a tactical second guess.
  • Watch out for letters appearing more than once in the answer.

There’s no racing against the clock with Wordle so you don’t need to rush for the answer. Treating the game like a casual newspaper crossword can be a good tactic; that way, you can come back to it later if you’re coming up blank. Stepping away for a while might mean the difference between a win and a line of grey squares.

Wordle gives you six rows of five boxes each day, and you’ll need to work out which secret five-letter word is hiding inside them to keep up your winning streak.

You should start with a strong word like ARISE, or any other word that contains a good mix of common consonants and multiple vowels. You’ll also want to avoid starting words with repeating letters, as you’re wasting the chance to potentially eliminate or confirm an extra letter. Once you hit Enter, you’ll see which ones you’ve got right or wrong. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 means the letter is in the word, but not in that position. 🟩 means you’ve got the right letter in the right spot.

Your second guess should compliment the starting word, using another “good” word to cover any common letters you missed last time while also trying to avoid any letter you now know for a fact isn’t present in today’s answer. With a bit of luck, you should have some coloured squares to work with and set you on the right path.

After that, it’s just a case of using what you’ve learned to narrow your guesses down to the right word. You have six tries in total and can only use real words (so no filling the boxes with EEEEE to see if there’s an E). Don’t forget letters can repeat too (ex: BOOKS).

If you need any further advice feel free to check out our Wordle tips, and if you’d like to find out which words have already been used you can scroll to the relevant section above.

Originally, Wordle was dreamed up by software engineer Josh Wardle, as a surprise for his partner who loves word games. From there it spread to his family, and finally got released to the public. The word puzzle game has since inspired tons of games like Wordle, refocusing the daily gimmick around music or math or geography. It wasn’t long before Wordle became so popular it was sold to the New York Times for seven figures. Surely it’s only a matter of time before we all solely communicate in tricolor boxes.

Wordle today: Answer and hint #1454 for June 12

by admin June 12, 2025

Don’t worry if today’s Wordle has left you scratching your head, we’ve got a wide range of help ready to go. Take a look at our tips—a general refresh is never a bad thing. Faced with a generous helping of yellow letters but no real idea what to do with them? Our clue for the June 12 (1454) game will soon turn that around. And if you’re really stuck, or only have one row left and would hate to lose your win streak, today’s answer is only a click away.

I sort of solved today’s Wordle by accident, after staring at the grey spaces between the green and yellow letters I’d already found for far too long. Less “I know what this is” and more “I know what this isn’t, and that means…”. It felt like I was working backwards through the puzzle, but hey, it still worked.

Wordle today: Answer and hint #1449 for June 7

by admin June 7, 2025

Welcome to your first Wordle win of the weekend. Keep it simple with an easy click through to the June 7 (1449) answer if you like, or relax, see how things go, and know that today’s hint is here if you need it. Make sure you check out our general tips and tricks too—however you want to win, they can help get you there.

I had a proper lightbulb moment today. Wordle didn’t just give me enough clues to spot the answer (after perhaps a touch longer than I would have liked), but it gave me the pleasant surprise of instantly flipping from a state I’d describe as “Please help, can someone explain words again?” to an instant win. Well, it felt like an instant win after all the stumbling about that happened above it, anyway.

I was so sure I was about to stun the Wordle world with my vast intellect today, only to show myself up. I had three green letters, all nicely organised together. I knew what I had. I knew what not to use. I had a serious think about my options and… ended up staring at the same three green letters. I’ve never felt more deflated. At least the go after finally revealed the good stuff.

We’ve got our general tips right here if you’d like some advice, as well as a hint for today’s Wordle if you need someone to help turn those grey boxes into a winning row of greens.

It definitely didn’t feel like it at the time, but every guess I made today was a good one. Yes, even the one at the top with five grey letters. Every clue pushed me closer to today’s answer, every green and yellow letter a huge help. Not the quickest game of the week, but somehow it still felt satisfying.
