Ethereum Dead Cat Bounce in Play? Here’s What Chart Says

by admin October 2, 2025

Ethereum (ETH) has jumped by 9.19% in the last seven days as the asset maintained stability above the $4,000 level. This uptick has sparked bullish sentiment in the Ethereum community as investors anticipate an upsurge toward $5,000.

Analyst warns of “Dead Cat Bounce” in Ethereum

However, MikybullCrypto, a crypto trader on X, maintains that an Ethereum “dead cat bounce” that could trap bulls is at play. For clarity, a dead cat bounce refers to a brief recovery period for an asset when the price goes up a little, after a huge decline. Notably, the asset reverses the uptick and continues its previous downward trend.

MikybullCrypto is suggesting that the current upward movement in price might be short-lived and entrap investors who are bullish on the asset. He maintained that any investor who buys ETH now, anticipating a further price surge, could suffer losses when it falls quickly.

The analyst, relying on a TradingView chart, highlighted that Ethereum has been on a descending path since July 2025, when the price hovered around $3,500. He is using this as a baseline price for Ethereum, insisting a massive dump could see the coin drop from its current levels.

As of press time, Ethereum is changing hands at $4,389.30, which represents a 5.42% increase in the last 24 hours. ETH had earlier traded at a peak of $4,423.12 before slipping as a result of market volatility. There has been a surge in trading volume by up to 40.32% to $51.34 billion within the same time frame.

The market outlook suggests a solid recovery for Ethereum. Hence, members of the community are reacting to MikybullCrypto’s analysis with skepticism. A user stated that the current setup looks like a bear trap, not a bull trap, implying that Ethereum is likely to continue its upward momentum.

Ethereum outlook, bull trap or bear trap?

Interestingly, Ethereum whales, within this period, have intensified their accumulation move.

When the price fell below the critical $4,000 level, these large holders received 431,018 ETH, valued at over $1.73 billion from different exchanges. This was considered a bullish move as the direction of flow moved  from exchanges to wallet signal stacking.

However, less than 48 hours ago, an unknown wallet transferred 198,289 ETH worth about $852 million to a crypto futures exchange. Coming at a time of price rebound, some market watchers are treating it as an attempt to sell, although it was not specified.

With Ethereum receiving mixed predictions from analysts, the price outlook will become clearer with time.

Bitcoin Beyond Money: It Is A Remarkable Achievement In Cryptography – Here’s Why

by admin October 1, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Bitcoin, which began as a mere digital asset, has turned into a viable currency used by many investors for their day-to-day activities in the dynamic financial sector. As the crypto market evolves, BTC is changing the narrative of how businesses and investors view cryptocurrencies as these companies continue to hoard the flagship asset.

A Unique Innovation Of The Digital Age

Over the years, Bitcoin has been labelled as digital gold due to its transformative potential and its notable value growth. Recently, Eric Schmidt, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Google, dropped a bombshell on BTC’s historic foray into the market and uniqueness in an interview.

In the interview, the former CEO praised BTC as a remarkable cryptographic achievement, underscoring the ground-breaking creativity that went into its creation. Schmidt’s statement points to the safe, trustless network and decentralized design of Bitcoin, which marks a significant advancement in cryptography.

Bitcoin, being hailed as a remarkable cryptographic achievement, is supported by its uniqueness compared to other major digital assets. Following the statement, the former CEO notes that Bitcoin is unique and cannot be duplicated, thereby strengthening its position as a leader in the cryptocurrency market.

“The ability to create something which is not duplicable in the digital world has enormous value,” Schmidt stated. Sharing insights on its utilization, he stated that BTC is incredibly useful, especially for multiple computer applications. Given BTC’s unique architecture and the inability to replicate the digital asset, the former Google CEO foresees a wave of individuals and corporations building on the network in the future.

Overall, Schmidt’s acknowledgment outlines how far BTC has come from being a specialized digital experiment to a worldwide recognized financial asset. The asset is currently attracting the interest of tech and finance leaders due to its technological foundation, allowing it to go mainstream.

Bitcoin To Serve Individuals In The Next Decade

With Bitcoin gaining ground in the financial landscape, Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Square, has voiced his conviction in the asset’s long-term potential. According to the Square CEO in an interview with Michael Saylor, the leading crypto asset will continue to serve individuals over the next decade.

Despite being slower than most networks, such as Ethereum, Dorsey believes that this is one of BTC’s key strengths, as it allows for longevity and predictability. Furthermore, it enhances security, better uptime, and usability, placing it ahead of other major chains.

Dorsey highlighted the potential for BTC to become the major internet currency, and he is confident that the asset will stick around in the long run. By declaring that BTC will serve billions of people in the next decade, the CEO is declaring that the asset is beyond just an investment; rather, it is the foundation of a more transparent and inclusive global financial system.

Shiba Inu Volume Suddenly up 26,691% on Kraken, Here’s Likely Reason

by admin October 1, 2025

Shiba Inu has seen a sudden hourly volume surge on Kraken, rising +26,691.75%. According to CoinGlass data, the SHIBUSDT spot trading pair on Kraken saw a 26,691% volume surge in the last hour to come in at $58,690.

While the reason for the spike remains unknown, there are a few likely reasons. A surge in trading volume most often reflects traders’ positioning.

Shiba Inu has seen a price surge in recent hours, posting a large “marubozu candle” at one point on its hourly chart, which took its price from $0.00001186 to $0.00001223.

The Marubozu candlestick pattern represents one that has no shadows, indicating high market pressure. It indicates that the price traded in one strong direction.

A green marubozu candlestick in the case of Shiba Inu suggests strong buying pressure accompanied by a major increase in trading volumes.

In the last 24 hours, Shiba Inu’s total spot trading volume has increased to $206.09 million, according to CoinMarketCap data.

12,733,930,024 SHIB shorts liquidated in positive October start

At press time, SHIB was up 4.9% in the last 24 hours to $0.00001231, marking a positive start to October.

Shiba Inu fell for two straight days at September’s close to hit a low of $0.00001155 on Sept. 30. The first day of October saw a significant SHIB price rise from $0.00001176 to $0.00001236. The price move caught shorts or traders betting on a further SHIB price drop unawares, leading to significant short liquidation.

According to CoinGlass data, 12,733,930,024 SHIB  short positions have been liquidated in the last 24 hours. This accounts for the majority, or $156,500 out of the total liquidation figure of $173,210, in the past day.

Here’s What 50+ Celebs Thought Of The PS2 In 2002

by admin October 1, 2025

Celebrities are just like you and me. They enjoy some video games, just like the rest of us. And back in 2002, Sony was thrilled that so many famous people really enjoyed playing the PlayStation 2. Sony was so excited, in fact, that the PlayStation maker compiled a large list of “celebrity testimonies” and shared it with the press via the company’s 2002 E3 Press Kit. And thankfully, as spotted by Devolver Digital PR manager Andy Kelly, someone all the way back in 2016 uploaded this press kit to the Internet Archive. Now we can all enjoy it.

I’ve formatted all of the testimonials below, with minimal editing or tweaks. Now you can easily enjoy all of these testimonials, some of which don’t seem like something Sony would actually want people to read or share. And yes, some of the people below are not great and are super canceled in 2025. Take a shot for each time that happens. (Don’t do that.)

Matthew Perry, actor, Friends

“I used to have a social life, go on dates, go to dinner parties, have a job. Now all I do is sit in a big chair and play PlayStation 2. 1 never leave my house. My friends have wondered what happened to me. Howard Hughes must have had one of these.”

David Arquette, actor, Scream 3

“PlayStation 2 is to the gaming world what the computer was to the typewriter. It’s not just an entertainment luxury, but a necessity.”

Hayden Christensen, actor, Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones

“I just got [PlayStation 2] a few days ago, but I’ve been playing it non-stop; it’s a great system. The graphics are fantastic, I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

Luke Wilson, actor, Charlie’s Angels

“Freedom from everyday life can only mean one thing – the arrival of PlayStation 2.”

Sandra Bullock, actress, Miss Congeniality

“PlayStation 2 is the only place where I can legally explode things and not harm anyone.”

Chris Klein, actor, American Pie II

“I’ve been playing game systems for a really long time, but once you go PlayStation 2 you can never go back. . .It’s the best system for sure.”

Jason Biggs, actor, American Pie II

“I do play PlayStation. I have a PS2 console and it is awesome…It is amazing. PS one is still great, but the graphics and the concepts on PS2 are incredibly realistic…I had PS2 in my trailer for American Pie II. Me and the rest of the guys would get into some heated games.”

Jason Lee, actor, Almost Famous

“[PlayStation 2] is the most amazing game I’ve ever played. Amazing graphics, too. The console looks like it’s straight out of Blade Runner!”

Justin Timberlake, singer, NSYNC

“I play PlayStation 2 all the time, not just on the road. The play action is really easy and has the best graphics.”

P. Diddy, rapper

“No doubt I am a [PlayStation 2] fan. My kids and I play together.”

Snoop Dogg, rapper/actor, The Wash

“The rush to get the new PlayStation 2 is more out of control than the Cabbage Patch Kids. I want my music on there – I want it to be Snoop Dogg and PlayStation 2.”

Nick Carter, singer, Backstreet Boys

“I’ve been playing PlayStation 2 since it came out. I take it out on tour and play on the bus, in my hotel room and backstage before the shows. The graphics are totally awesome, and I like that I can use it to play DVDs, too.”

Vin Diesel, actor, The Fast & The Furious

“If I’m not playing Sony PlayStation or rereading a classic or watching a foreign film. . .my friends and I get on the Internet and find out who I’m dating, and it’s always hysterical.”

Tara Reid, actress, American Pie II

“PlayStation is fun. It’s innocent and fun. It is nice to be kids and have a good time… I bring PlayStation 2 into my trailer on every movie I do.”

John Leguizamo, actor, Moulin Rouge

“PlayStation 2 is the coolest thing ever. Forget my kids, this is MINE!”

Wayne Brady, comedian/actor, Whose Line Is it Anyway?

“I love my PlayStation 2. I’m all over my PS2. . . I tour so much now doing my improv act, that it’s great because my wife doesn’t let me play games at home, so I play them in the hotel room.”

Seann William Scott, actor, American Pie II

“I’ve never seen anything like it. . . I’ve played other games before but PlayStation 2 is just amazing.”

Shannon Elizabeth, actress, American Pie II

“The PlayStation 2 is the best thing ever.”

Tom Green, actor, The Tom Green Show

“They’ve all got Sony PlayStations and I don’t.” (On what he most values in his friends) “FINALLY, I’ve got my very own PS2″

Jimmy Fallon, actor, Saturday Night Live

“The PlayStation 2 is sweet! The new Madden game sounds insane…I want to play it now. I’m also excited about playing over the Internet. If they make an Olympic game it will be awesome to actually play someone in China. Too much fun.”

Forest Whitaker, actor/director, Waiting To Exhale

“I can’t wait to get the PlayStation 2 for my kids. They’re going to love it.”

Ashley Angel, singer, O-Town

“It’s midnight in Milwaukee and it’s 20 degrees outside and instead of being in a warm hotel room, Jacob, Erik and I are out playing PS2 in the tour bus.”

Howie Dorough, singer, Backstreet Boys

“We are all fans, but Nikki [Nick Carter] is the biggest. That is why I can’t beat him at Who Wants to Be a Millionaire – I am trying to get that thing down.”

Dave Matthews, singer, Dave Mathews Band

“The band is so into PlayStation 2. I can’t imagine being on the road without it. Our lounge on the bus is dedicated to PlayStation 2.”

Danny Masterson, actor, That 70’s Show

“The games are really cool – they’ve got good soundtracks on them and look very, very real…I’m at work and in between scenes we play video games. We should probably read more books, but PlayStation 2 is so darn good.”

Bill Bellamy, MTV VJ/actor, The Brothers

“[PlayStation 2] is fascinating to see. The graphics are so incredible, so lifelike — it’s fast, it’s fun, it’s challenging, it brings people together. You feel like you’re really in the game. That’s the part that’s cool and that’s what people get excited about.”

Patricia Arquette, actress, Little Nicky

“We can’t get enough of PlayStation 2 at our house.”

Lee Ann Rimes, singer

“It’s a total stress-buster at the end of a long day – it’s a lot of fun!”

Marlon Wayans, actor/writer, Scary Movie

“It’s the truth. I played John Madden. . .one sack hit me so big, it broke my rib. You really feel like you’re playing the game. It’s the true experience. . .PlayStation 2.”

Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, actress, X-Men

“When I saw my friend [playing PlayStation 2] I became determined to become as much of an expert as she is.”

Tom Arnold, actor, Best Damn Sports Show Period, True Lies

“PlayStation 2 is so intense that when they play they don’t want to talk to anyone around them.”

Jermaine Dupri, So So Def Founder/Producer/ Recording Artist

“I am a die hard PlayStation 2 fan, I don’t like nothing else. But PlayStation is my favorite. . .You can play music, games, DVDs – there isn’t anything better.”

Billy Campbell, actor, Once and Again

“It’s going to be a long time before anybody beats it…”

Brendan Fehr, actor, Roswell

“In terms of graphics, it’s far superior to [the original] PlayStation. In between scenes, you see the players come out of dressing rooms, and there are little clips like you’re watching TV. It’s a lot of fun. . . PlayStation 2 is great because it plays both DVDs and games. . . and the graphics are so cool.”

Carmen Electra, actress/model, Scary Movie

“I grew up playing video games. PlayStation 2 takes it to the next level.”

Jeff Probst, host of TV’s Survivor

“When we did the first Survivor, I didn’t realize I’d have some downtime between challenges and Tribal Councils, but for Survivor 2, I was ready. I brought a PlayStation 2 as my luxury item. So, we’d finish Tribal Council, head back to base camp, toss in a game and start jammin’. It was a great way to get your mind out of your work and not a bad way to relieve some tension as well.”

Joey Fatone, singer, NSYNC

“I use PlayStation 2 because it is fun and has good graphics. It gives us something else to do on
the bus and helps pass the time while traveling from city to city. Got a PS2 in my car too like Chris [Kirkpatrick], and I play at least four to five hours a day. PS2 is the BOMB!”

Joshua Jackson, actor, Dawson ’s Creek

“PlayStation 2 is going to take over our football lounge on the bus.”

Kevin Richardson, singer, Backstreet Boys

“PlayStation 2’s Madden 2002, I am addicted to that game. I am addicted to football and loved to play in high school, but was not good enough to play college or professional ball. With Madden, I get to live out my fantasies on PlayStation 2.”

Robert Horry, athlete, Los Angeles Lakers

“I am a big PlayStation 2 fan. I went to the launch party last season and it was the best party I went to and I had to come back and check out the anniversary party. I don’t play the basketball games because I get frustrated. The games won’t let me do moves that I know I can do in real life.”

John Salley, former athlete, Los Angeles Lakers

“My daughter and I compete [on PlayStation 2]. Whenever we get in a fight, we say ‘See you on PlayStation.’ It’s better than a spanking. Just spank them on PlayStation.”

“I am a big PlayStation 2 fan. I am into it.”

Tia Carrere, actress, Wayne’s World

“Actually, I have to admit to jumping to the head of the line in Canada to get a couple of PlayStation 2s for Christmas — I was part of the craze. Now I want one for me.”

Nick Stahl, actor, The Thin Red Line

“The PS2’s graphics are amazing. I can’t wait to own one of these. . .I’ll play it all the time.”

Norman Reedus, actor/model, Gossip

“I love playing the PlayStation 2. It’s like meditation.”

Catherine Bell, actress, Jag

“The PlayStation 2 is amazing and it looks really cool. Plus, the graphics are incredible. I love the fighting games, especially Tekken Tag, because I find all these crazy combinations, and when I play against my husband I always win.”

IREN stock price could soar
NFT Gaming

Here’s why IREN stock jumped after the CoreWeave and Meta Platforms deal

by admin September 30, 2025

IREN stock price jumped by more than 2% and approached its all-time high after a major $14 billion deal between Meta Platforms and CoreWeave and after a bullish report on AI spending from Citi.

Summary

  • IREN stock price soared after a big deal between Meta Platforms and CoreWeave.
  • Meta will buy AI computing power from CoreWeave in a $14 billion deal.
  • IREN jumped as investors predicted a similar deal with a hyperscaler.

IREN, a popular Bitcoin (BTC) mining company, jumped to $46.80, a few points below the all-time high of $49. It has advanced by 870% from its lowest level this year, bringing its market capitalization to more than $14 billion.

IREN shares jumped after Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook and WhatsApp, inked a $14 billion deal with CoreWeave. Meta will take advantage of CoreWeave’s infrastructure to accelerate its AI development.

The deal came a few weeks after Microsoft reached a similar deal with Nebius. Therefore, IREN stock is soaring as investors anticipate similar deals in the coming months as it ramps up construction of its AI data centers.

In a report published today, Citigroup raised its estimate of AI data center spending. The Wall Street bank now expects that technology giants will spend $2.8 trillion on AI data centers by 2029, up from its previous estimate of $2.3 trillion.

Citi also expects that the top hyperscalers, such as Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Google, will spend $490 billion by the end of 2026, up from the previous estimate of $420 billion.

If these estimates are correct, it means that companies providing AI infrastructure solutions, such as IREN, will continue to perform well in the foreseeable future.

In a recent statement, IREN said that it had doubled its AI cloud to 23k Nvidia and AMD GPUs as it seeks to become a major player in the industry. Its near-term target is to have about 60,000 GPUs.

Most importantly, it hopes to reach an annualized run rate of $500 million by Q1 2026, a large figure for a segment that generated just $7 million in revenue in the last quarter.

IREN stock price technical analysis

IREN stock chart | Source: crypto.news

The daily timeframe chart shows that the IREN share price has been in a strong uptrend over the past few months, moving from a low of $4.96 in April to $46 today, bringing its market capitalization to more than $12 billion.

IREN’s share price has remained significantly above all moving averages, while the rising Average Directional Index shows that the trend is gaining momentum.

However, IREN’s stock has become highly overbought as the Relative Strength Index and Stochastics have risen.

Therefore, the most likely scenario is that the stock continues rising as AI momentum accelerates and as traders wait for a potential deal with a hyperscaler. However, a smaller pullback cannot be ruled out in the near term as investors begin to book profits.

Setting Up a VPN on Your iPhone Is Easy. Here’s How

by admin September 29, 2025

There are several reasons why you might want to use a VPN on your iPhone. A VPN, or virtual private network, is a service that creates a secure connection over the internet between your device — in this case, your iPhone — and a remote server, to hide your public IP address. VPNs scramble your internet traffic, making it difficult for third parties — like companies or internet service providers — to connect your online activity back to you.

With a VPN enabled, your ISP can’t tell what apps you use or websites you visit, and by the same merit, apps and websites can’t view information about your ISP. If you’re connected to a public W-Fi network, a VPN adds an extra layer of privacy, so your browsing history is masked from that hotspot’s ISP.

In addition to privacy benefits, VPN can also be used for entertainment purposes and travel, like accessing geo-restricted content. If you live in the US but are traveling in another country, you can use a VPN to make it seem like you’re still at home, allowing you to access the American version of Netflix, for example, which typically isn’t available in other countries. On mobile devices specifically, a VPN may be able to help you stream videos in better quality while on a cellular signal by avoiding traffic shaping.

If you’re concerned about privacy, want access to region-locked content, are traveling abroad or want to avoid mobile data throttling, a VPN is worth having on your iPhone. Here’s what to know about choosing one and how to set it up.

Here’s how to use a VPN on your iPhone easily and quickly

Downloading a VPN app, creating an account, choosing a plan and connecting to your VPN shouldn’t take longer than a minute or so.

Nelson Aguilar/CNET

Installing a VPN app on your iPhone is pretty simple — like most other iOS apps, you’ll simply download one from the App Store. Here’s how to install a VPN on your iPhone:

  1. First, go to the App Store.
  2. Then, tap in the Search bar at the top, enter the name of the VPN app you intend to use then tap the name in the results list or tap search on your on-screen keyboard.
  3. Tap Get next to the VPN provider’s name to download it on your iPhone.
  4. Next, open the VPN application.
  5. Sign in if you already have an account. If you don’t have an account, create one and sign up for a plan. Browse through the various plans to see if there’s an option that can save you money, especially if you intend to use the VPN for longer than a few months. You should also keep your eye out for any free trials.
  6. Finally, choose a location from the server list and connect to the VPN server.
  7. The first time you attempt to connect to a VPN server, you’ll be asked to install a new VPN profile on your iPhone. The pop-up screen you see in the middle screenshot below, or something similar to it, should appear. To install the VPN profile, tap Allow and enter your passcode and that should be it.

You should then be connected to a VPN server. Browse through your VPN app and play around with the various settings available. If you want to protect your other devices (your tablet, computer, streaming device and so on), most VPNs allow for multiple simultaneous connections.

If you want easy access to your VPN, you don’t have to go into the VPN app to quickly toggle it off and on. Instead, you can go to Settings > VPN to disconnect and connect to the last VPN server you were connected to.

There’s also a way to manually set up your VPN if needed…

If your employer, school or a self-hosted server has given you connection details, like a server address and a login or certificate, you can add a VPN directly to your iPhone without installing any apps. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > VPN > Add VPN Configuration.
  2. Choose the IKEv2 VPN protocol (which is the most common for iOS). IPSec and L2TP still exist, but many providers now prefer IKEv2 for faster reconnects and reliability.
  3. Enter the description, server, remote ID and, if desired, a local ID.
  4. Input the authentication details using either your username/password or a certificate exactly as provided.
  5. Hit the blue check mark (iOS 26) or the Done button (earlier iOS versions) in the top right and then toggle the VPN on in the same menu. You can also toggle it on/off from the main Settings menu or from the Control Center.

There’s also an option to sign in to your work or school account via an email address in your settings, if IT allows you to access your VPN this way.

Which VPN should you use on your iPhone?

Surfshark is one of the cheapest VPN options available for iOS.

Sarah Tew/CNET

There are a bunch of VPN options out there, both free and paid, and your decision basically comes down to two things: what you need from your VPN and how much you’re willing to pay. Here are the best iPhone VPNs on the market.

ExpressVPN is CNET’s Editors’ Choice winner for best overall VPN for 2025. At $13 a month, $75 for the first 15 months or $98 total for the first 28 months (the one- and two-year plans renew at $100 a year), it’s one of the more expensive options. But we’ve found ExpressVPN justifies its premium price because it’s fast, reliable and simple to use. It may not have as many advanced privacy features as other VPN rivals, but it provides the privacy essentials, like a kill switch (which cuts off your internet if your VPN unexpectedly disconnects), split tunneling (to use a VPN connection for some apps but not others) and an audited no-logs policy (to back up its zero-log claims). ExpressVPN is a great option for accessing geo-blocked streaming content while you’re traveling, because it’s so fast and excels at bypassing regional restrictions.

NordVPN is the fastest VPN for iOS. At $13 a month, $60 for the first year or $83 total for the first two years, NordVPN’s one- and two-year plans are initially cheaper than ExpressVPN. But the company’s $140 a year auto-renewal on the one- and two-year plans is significantly more expensive than Express’s $100 a year auto-renewal. The app is also simple to use. You can easily choose a location to connect to and also quickly connect to specialty servers, like Onion over VPN or double VPN servers, both of which make it harder to trace your data back to your device (like your iPhone).

Surfshark is the best value VPN for iPhones and, despite its relative affordability, it doesn’t compromise on privacy features. Like NordVPN and ExpressVPN, Surfshark has an intuitive interface, but it’s packed with privacy features, like dynamic multihop connections, an IP rotator and an ad and tracker blocker. While the monthly plan is steep in comparison to most rivals at $15 a month, Surfshark’s $48 for the first year or $60 total for the first two years undercuts many competitors. Even its $79 a year auto-renewal on the one- and two-year plans is cheaper than ExpressVPN and NordVPN’s renewal prices.

Normally, we don’t recommend most free VPNs, for a few reasons: You might get weaker encryption, data caps, slow speeds, data collection, advertisements, limited server options or even malware. The only free VPN we can enthusiastically vouch for is Proton VPN because it doesn’t track you, blast you with ads or throttle your speeds. Proton VPN’s zero-dollar tier is limited — it doesn’t let you pick a server manually and you can only connect on one device at a time. But Proton’s paid premium plan is a great upgrade path for folks who need more simultaneous connections, a larger server network or additional manual control.

Usually, it’s better to pay if you really need a VPN for privacy protection on your iPhone. Also, most paid VPN options feature a free seven-day trial (as long as you sign up through the App Store) or a money-back guarantee, so there are ways to use paid VPNs without spending any money — but only for a limited time.

XRP Price Final Low: Here’s The Target To Watch For Next Recovery

by admin September 27, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Crypto analyst CasiTrades has indicated that the XRP price could drop to a final low before it begins its next leg to the upside. In line with this, she highlighted the target to watch out for as altcoin looks to end this downtrend and begin its recovery.

Level To Watch As XRP Price Eyes Final Low

CasiTrades revealed in an X post that $2.715 might mark the final low for the XRP price before it begins its wave 3 impulsive move to the upside. She noted that the price level is the bottom trendline of the consolidation and, importantly, would still not make a new low in the correction. This came as the analyst highlighted that altcoin had faced a significant rejection at the $3 resistance.

Furthermore, the XRP price also lost its major .5 fib support at $2.79 and even retested it as resistance. She added that the rejection was sharp and that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is reflecting strong pressure, which suggests that the market may need to drop to lower levels for this correction to be over. This is why she believes that token may still fall to $2.715.

Meanwhile, CasiTrades explained that the price is now forming a divergence on the higher timeframes but that the smaller timeframes haven’t fully exhausted yet. She stated that this suggests that the larger move down is unfolding as a 5th wave, but it hasn’t finished just yet, which is why the altcoin could drop lower.

The analyst added that some altcoins, such as Ethereum and DOGE, have already reached their bottom targets. Meanwhile, others, including the XRP price, require one last dip to fully exhaust the selling pressure before sentiment can shift bullish.

Key Signs To Watch For The Altcoin

As part of the key signs to watch, CasiTrades noted that the 1-hour RSI has printed a bullish divergence and is holding a clear trendline. She claimed that a final drop to this price level would help confirm exhaustion. Meanwhile, the altcoin price reclaiming $2.79 by the daily close would be a strong signal, especially if it flips it back into support.

The crypto analyst assured that the current XRP price action isn’t weakness but a shakeout. She added that tight consolidation, then volatility, and now exhausted selling are the perfect conditions needed for the next major breakout and a fresh market trend. However, crypto analyst Ali Martinez suggested that XRP could drop way lower than the projected bottom at $2.715, noting that there is a gap between $2.73 and $2.51.

At the time of writing, the XRP price is trading at around $2.78, up in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

$154 Million XRP Short Appears on Hyperliquid, Here’s Worst Scenario

by admin September 27, 2025

A high-risk play has appeared on Hyperliquid after a trader known for large bets returned with $4.2 million USDC. This was put to work straight away. The account went into leveraged shorts, targeting both Bitcoin and XRP, drawing most attention to the latter.

According to Lookonchain, the trader put together a short position worth 2.78 million XRP — that is about $7.5 million in margin, but they went for 20x leverage, which means the total notional exposure ended up being more than $154 million.

The average entry was around $2.71 per token, just as XRP tested the lower end of its recent trading range.

What’s liquidation price?

The liquidation data makes it pretty obvious where the danger zone is. If XRP goes up to $3.06, the position will have to close, which could wipe out millions in collateral.

The size of this bet is made even bigger by the background: XRP has been all over the place since it hit $3.70 in August, dropping to $2.70 in September but still way up from earlier in the year. With liquidation only 13% away from spot, there is not much margin for error.

The same wallet is also shorting 1,366 BTC with 40x leverage, but it is XRP where the squeeze potential looks brutal. If it goes beyond $3, it will be a total disaster. Thus, traders all over the market are keeping an eye on this high-risk player to see if they can make it through or if they will end up in the liquidation headlines.

Bitcoin Fails To Hold $110K, Here’s Why
Crypto Trends

Bitcoin Fails To Hold $110K, Here’s Why

by admin September 27, 2025

Key takeaways:

  • Strong US economic data and rising gold prices shift investor focus away from Bitcoin’s upside.

  • Regulatory uncertainty and vague US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve plans keep BTC price down despite macro tailwinds.

Bitcoin (BTC) failed to reclaim the $110,000 level on Friday, despite high expectations from traders following the monthly BTC options expiry. Hopes for a post-expiry rally were dashed as bearish momentum continued, driven by several headwinds, including macroeconomic data and a possible investigation targeting listed cryptocurrency treasury companies.

The US Commerce Department reported Friday that the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index rose 2.7% in August compared to the previous year, matching economists’ forecasts. Persistent inflation is one of the reasons the US Federal Reserve remains cautious about lowering interest rates.

Bitcoin fails to keep up despite gold nearing a record high

Traders have dialed back their expectations for interest rates to fall to 3.75% or lower by the end of the year, based on futures markets.

The CME FedWatch tool currently shows a 67% implied probability of two 0.25% rate cuts by year-end, down from 79% just a week ago. Bitcoin traders’ frustrations were further amplified as gold surged to $3,770 on Friday, just 0.5% shy of its all-time high, signaling that investors are leaning toward traditional safe-haven assets amid uncertainty.

The S&P 500 posted gains on Friday after data showed a 0.6% rise in US consumer spending for August. Economists had previously anticipated a slowdown in spending toward year-end, citing rising prices and concerns over a weakening labor market, according to Yahoo Finance.

A strong US economy tends to support stock markets by driving corporate earnings and lowering perceived risk, particularly amid growing worries about the escalating trade war. US President Donald Trump’s administration recently introduced another round of import tariffs, including a 100% duty on patented pharmaceuticals.

Regulatory pressure and policy delays frustrate Bitcoin traders

Beyond macroeconomic factors, the cryptocurrency market has faced its own challenges, adding further pressure to Bitcoin’s already struggling price.

A Wall Street Journal report on Thursday revealed that several cryptocurrency treasury firms had been contacted by US regulators. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority reportedly raised concerns about unusually high trading volumes prior to corporate announcements.

Regulations prohibit public companies from selectively disclosing material, nonpublic information—prompting suspicion over sharp gains in certain listed stocks days before relevant disclosures. “It’s typically the first step in an investigation. Whether it goes full, full length, it’s anybody’s guess,” David Chase, a former SEC enforcement attorney, told WSJ.

Traders are also growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of follow-through on the US strategic Bitcoin Reserve plan. Although the Executive Order signed in March referred to “budget-neutral” strategies to accumulate Bitcoin, no concrete steps have been announced. Despite repeated promises to audit the government’s cryptocurrency holdings, no action has been taken.

In the end, Bitcoin’s price continues to face pressure from a favorable macroeconomic backdrop supporting the stock market and mounting uncertainty from a possible SEC investigation and the opaque status of US Bitcoin reserves.

ARK Invest Forecast Highlights $25 Trillion Crypto Market Cap, Here’s How Much Ethereum And XRP Will Be

by admin September 26, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Ark Invest, an American investment management firm, has recently shared a long-term forecast that envisions the Ethereum (ETH) price reaching the six-digit territory if the total crypto market capitalization surges to $25 trillion. Ark Invest also notes that Ethereum stands to be one of the biggest winners in this scenario, with XRP also set to capture significant value.

Ethereum’s Share Of The Projected $25 Trillion Market

Lorenzo Valente, Director of Research at Ark Invest, explained in a video post on X social media that Ethereum currently accounts for approximately 13.5% of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization. He predicts that if the global crypto market cap climbs to $25 trillion within the next five years, Ethereum could command a market valuation of approximately $3.37 trillion. This translates into a price of about $28,000 per token—a level that would mark a historic moment for ETH.

The Ark Invest Director pointed to key drivers underpinning the cryptocurrency’s strength to reach such a valuation. These include the tokenization of Real-World Assets (RWA) on the Ethereum blockchain, the network’s rapid growth in DeFi, the growing presence of stablecoins, and ongoing innovations across Layer 2 solutions.

Valente further notes that more than $120 billion in total value is already locked within Ethereum and its scaling networks, highlighting its liquidity dominance. For stablecoins, the blockchain accounts for over $100 billion of the sector’s $200 billion capitalisation, a commanding position that underscores its role as the backbone of the DeFi landscape.

Notably, Valente emphasized ETH’s yield-bearing nature, with staking making the cryptocurrency one of the few revenue-generating digital assets. Beyond its ability to generate yield, the Ark Invest Director notes that Ethereum is also the number one collateral used on Layer 2s, a medium of exchange within NFT marketplaces, and the currency for paying network fees.

He also believes that scaling improvements on Layer 1 and Layer 2 over the next five years could attract millions more users, reinforcing ETH’s dominance and positioning it as a unique asset unlike any other in the crypto market.

XRP’s Growth Potential In A $25 Trillion Crypto Market

While Ethereum is positioned at the forefront of Ark Invest’s projection, XRP remains one of the most closely watched altcoins in the market. Currently valued at approximately $2.8 billion after a recent decline, the cryptocurrency has a total market capitalization of $170.6 billion. For reference, the entire crypto market also has a market cap of $3.93 trillion, as of the time of this report.

Based on these figures, XRP’s current market share is about 4.3% of the entire industry. If this ratio is maintained during the broader market’s projected rise to a $25 trillion valuation, XRP could achieve a market cap of roughly $1.05 trillion. With its current circulating supply, this would imply a price of approximately $17 per token, representing a more than sixfold increase from current levels.
