Exclusive: Funko Launching Classic Mega Man Funko Fusion Figure With Chase Variant Version

by admin August 24, 2025

Funko Fusion didn’t set the world on fire when it released last year, but at least it’s giving us some cool Funko collectibles. We’ve already seen figures based on Battlestar Galactica, Shaun of the Dead, and The Thing, and soon we can add Mega Man to that list. The Mega Man Funko Fusion figure is now available to preorder for $15 ahead of its December 27 release date. The figure will come in a standard version that captures the hero’s original blue design, and a rare Chase variant that gives the character a zombified makeover. Alongside the Blue Bomber, Funko also announced Funko Fusion figures based on Colonel Sanders, Invincible, and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

$15 | Releases December 27

This new Mega Man Funko Fusion vinyl figure features Capcom’s retro icon in his classic blue armor and helmet, with a blue energy blast firing from his arm cannon. Like all Funko Pops, this one does not have any articulated joints, but it should make for a fun addition to your game room or home office. If you’re lucky, you might land the Chase variant of the Mega Man Funko Fusion, which “zombifies” the character, turning his eyes white, his skin pale, and adding flecks of green goo across his armor. Like all Chase variants, there’s about a 1/6 chance to find it.

Mega Man Funko Fusion Standard and Chase Variants

The vinyl is arriving alongside the Funko Fusion: Deluxe Edition video game, which adds several new, exclusive characters to the game. Our Funko Fusion review gave it a 4/10, though folks looking for a quirky cooperative game with constant references to pop culture icons will probably find something to enjoy about the adventure. The main reason to pick up this new $40 Deluxe Edition is for all the new playable characters from several popular movies and TV shows. Here’s a look at the new characters in the Deluxe Edition:

  • Wicked: The Wizard, Madame Morrible, Elphaba, Glinda, Prince Fiyero, and Shiz variants of Elphaba and Glinda
  • Universal Monsters: Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Wolf Man
  • The Office: Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam

The Funko Fusion standard edition is also available for $20 on PS5, PS4, Switch, and Xbox Series X. While the base version lacks the additional content and characters from the new Deluxe Edition, it does include Mega Man in its playable roster.

Funko Fusion Colonel Sanders, Freddy Fazbear, and Invincible features

As mentioned above, Mega Man is just one of several new Funko Fusion figures launching in December. You can preorder new vinyl collectibles based on KFC mascot Colonel Sanders–wielding a chicken-launching cannon, no less–that also comes in an all-gold Chase variant. He drops on December 9, alongside a new Invincible figure that has a blood-spattered chase variant. Following those two, a new Funko Fusion Freddy Fazbear wielding a pizza launcher drops on December 27 with a zombified Chase variant. Preorders for all these new figures are available for $15 apiece at Amazon.

There are several other figures available in the lineup that are available now, including classic heroes like He-Man, or villains like the Cylon robots from Battlestar Galactica. Fans of the Cornetto Film Trilogy can add Shaun from Shaun of the Dead or Nicholas Angel from Hot Fuzz to their shelves, while fans of creatures and monster movies can pick up the mutant Indominus Rex dinosaur or the grotesque monster from The Thing. Check out a list of even more Funko Fusion figures below, or browse the full lineup at Amazon.

24 Fresh Looks At Nintendo’s Next Big Switch 2 Exclusive

by admin June 18, 2025

Image: Nintendo

It’s been over 25 years since Donkey Kong’s last 3D adventure, the ill-fated Donkey Kong 64 for Nintendo’s third-gen console. The good news is that Donkey Kong Bananza looks to be avoiding all the pitfalls of its predecessor, embracing the gameplay DNA of Donkey Kong Country mixed with the sandbox mechanics of a 3D Mario.

No color-coded collectibles only certain characters can pick up this time around, although the famous DK Rap has been confirmed to appear in Bananza’s list of obtainable music tracks. Nintendo recently released two dozen screenshots showing the July 17 Switch 2 exclusive in all its glory, and the game looks like it’s shaping up to be the new blockbuster adventure DK fans have spent decades waiting for.

Exclusive: OnePlus reveals the OnePlus Nord 5 series, OnePlus Buds 4, OnePlus Pad Lite, and a new OnePlus Watch

by admin June 16, 2025

Whichever way you slice it, OnePlus is enjoying a fruitful 2025. Just a few months after the OnePlus 13 sailed onto our list of the best phones money can buy, the OnePlus Watch 3 became one of the best Android smartwatches around, and the newly announced OnePlus Pad 3 looks set to feature prominently in our guide to the best Android tablets.

All three of those products are flagships in their respective categories, but OnePlus is now gearing up for its annual swipe at the mid-range tech market.

In an exclusive interview with TechRadar, Celina Shi, Chief Marketing Officer at OnePlus Europe, revealed the names and details of five new mid-range OnePlus products heading to stores in July – specifically the OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE5, OnePlus Buds 4, OnePlus Pad Lite, and OnePlus Watch 3 43mm.

TechRadar: What do you see as the key USP of the OnePlus Nord series in 2025, in terms of both its place in the OnePlus portfolio and the wider mid-range smartphone market?

Celina Shi: The OnePlus Nord Series is our mid-range smartphone series designed to offer a balance of flagship features at an affordable price. It’s become much-loved by a significant number of our community who enjoy its fun and more playful tone. The OnePlus Nord Series is bolder in color and style than our flagship Series and offers a real opportunity for people to demonstrate their personal identity through the devices and its brand.

In July this year, I’m pleased to announce that OnePlus will launch two new devices in the OnePlus Nord series: the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE5. The latest series is a performance powerhouse that offers endless endurance, allowing you to play and create all day and night.

TR: What, specifically, makes the OnePlus Nord 5 a “performance powerhouse”?

Sign up for breaking news, reviews, opinion, top tech deals, and more.

CS: The new OnePlus Nord 5 is what we’re calling a double-punch – it has an exceptional camera and an exceptional chipset.

While you’ll have to wait to find out about the camera, I can confirm that the OnePlus Nord 5 will include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, an unfairly high-spec chipset for the mid-range market.

The OnePlus Nord 5 is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and an advanced 7,300mm² CryoFlex Liquid Cooling System, ensuring consistently smooth performance even under pressure.

The new OnePlus Nord 5 is what we’re calling a double-punch – it has an exceptional camera and an exceptional chipset.

Celina Shi, OnePlus

For the gamers, OnePlus Nord 5 will also support Battlegrounds Mobile India at native 90 frames per second to 144fps with frame rate interpolation, meaning smooth gaming and less lag.

We’ve included all of these features as our core OnePlus Nord audience wants a fast and smooth experience, since they use their smartphones for creating, gaming, and multitasking. As these types of activities get more complex with more processing load, we’ve doubled down on our chipset to ensure we deliver the signature fast and smooth experience that we’ve become famous for.

TR: Both new Nord models feature a vertical camera array. Why the move back to this orientation on the flagship model this year?

CS: With any smartphone, there is always negotiation between aesthetic design and what’s physically possible within those parameters. As tech components evolve, so too will our design to make the best-looking products that function optimally.

The camera module is vertical in the latest OnePlus Nord Series as this layout optimizes space within the device, allowing us to include a best-in-class chipset, battery, and screen within.

TR: And similarly, what can you tell us about the rear panel design?

CS: While I can’t reveal specifics about the OnePlus Nord 5 Series materials just yet, I can say that it won’t be in a metal frame this year.

Our design concept for all of our devices is grounded in consumer insight. Following a global survey conducted across Europe, North America, India, and China, we found that our target audience places strong emphasis on practicality in design.

The camera module is vertical in the latest OnePlus Nord Series as this layout optimizes space within the device.

Celina Shi, OnePlus

They consistently prefer styles that are brief, simple, and elegant. In response to this, in the OnePlus Nord Series this year, we are offering a Nordic-inspired design that reflects these values and resonates with our consumers globally.

With that in mind, I’ll exclusively reveal to you one color each for the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE, which will launch in Europe on July 8: the OnePlus Nord 5 will launch in Dry Ice, and the OnePlus Nord CE 5 in Marble Mist.

TR: Are you confident that users will embrace the new Plus Key and Plus Mind interface on the Nord 5 series?

CS: We’re really excited about the new Plus Key, the extension of OnePlus’ personalized AI experience. The Plus Key is not a removal of our Alert Slider, it’s a natural evolution to allow it to be more capable, more intuitive to use, and now highly customizable. The Plus Key is a customizable button programmable for various actions like switching sound profiles, launching the camera, initiating translation, or starting recordings.

The Plus Mind interface sits perfectly alongside our Plus Key and is the first step to building a truly personalized smartphone experience with AI. Users can simply press the Plus Key to recognize screen content and add it as a ‘memory’. This includes actions like saving on-screen content, suggesting schedules to be added into a calendar, storing on-screen content into Mind Space, and searching with a conversational prompt via AI Search.

Beyond simple screen capture, AI Plus Mind leverages AI to analyze content contextually. For instance, it can extract schedule details from an image or text and add them directly to the user’s calendar. AI Search, integrated with AI Plus Mind, supports natural language queries for easy retrieval of saved content.

TR: With mid-range smartphones improving in quality every year, how does OnePlus distinguish between mid-range and flagship in 2025?

CS: At OnePlus, our vision is to empower the world through better technology. We launched the OnePlus Nord series to make cutting-edge technology, including the OnePlus Fast & Smooth experience, accessible to more people. Therefore, when we look at the OnePlus Nord Series offering, we try to balance flagship technology with an affordable price.

But the identity of the OnePlus Nord Series is quite different to that of our flagship series. It’s more playful, colourful, and bolder in style.

People who buy our OnePlus Nord Series are different to those buying flagships. For our flagship products, like the OnePlus 13 series, we target power users. These are tech enthusiasts that place high demands on their devices, and expect bleeding-edge hardware and frictionless, performance-focused software.

Our OnePlus Nord products are a way for us to take our flagship technology and make it more accessible to a wider range of users. These are value-aware consumers that expect a Fast & Smooth experience at a price point that allows more people to join our community.

At OnePlus, the flagship line and Nord line play equally important roles in our product and brand strategy. On one hand, we will continue building flagship devices that integrate the most advanced technologies to deliver cutting-edge experiences in the premium and ultra-premium tiers. In parallel, we are also committed to making the OnePlus experience and quality more accessible to more users with the Nord product line.

TR: Moving away from smartphones for a moment, what else is OnePlus planning on launching next month?

CS: This summer, on July 8, we are focusing on building our product portfolio across different categories and price segments. Alongside our OnePlus Nord Series devices, I’m pleased to announce that we will be launching three new products: a new wearable, the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm, our latest flagship headphones, the OnePlus Buds 4, and a new tablet, the OnePlus Pad Lite.

In February this year, we launched our latest flagship wearable, the OnePlus Watch 3. It was highly popular due to its huge battery life, accurate GPS, and health and wellbeing metrics.

We’re bringing a smaller iteration of this device that’s perfect for those with smaller wrists – but don’t underestimate it! It’s packed with specs that rival the full-sized version, as well as exclusive monitoring features not found on any other device – and will be available in sleek Silver Steel!

We are deepening our roots into broader consumer electronics sectors to become a premium ‘Android Builder’.

Celina Shi, OnePlus

Hot off the heels of the OnePlus Pad 3 launch in June, we’ve found that a strong section of our Community is looking to OnePlus for an affordable tablet that works seamlessly with their other OnePlus devices. We’re delighted to bring this to them this summer. The OnePlus Pad Lite will be available in Europe in Aero Blue.

For OnePlus Buds 4, you can expect a flagship sound experience, with Dual Drivers, Dual DACs, Hi-Res LHDC 5.0, and 3D Audio. For gamers, the OnePlus Buds 4 also offer 47ms ultra-low latency in Game Mode, ensuring audio syncs perfectly with on-screen action for a competitive edge.

As with all OnePlus products, style has been front and centre of the design process [for our new earbuds]. This year, the OnePlus Buds 4 are available in two colour options: Zen Green and Storm Gray.

TR: And lastly, looking ahead, what’s the overarching product strategy for OnePlus in 2025?

CS: Our journey started in 2014 with the release of our first smartphone, the OnePlus One, which shared great technology with the world and challenged the industry status quo. While our ambition remains to deliver exceptional value to our smartphone users, we are deepening our roots into broader consumer electronics sectors to become a premium ‘Android Builder’. Today, we offer a broad portfolio of devices across four main categories: smartphone, tablet, audio, and wearables.

Through our ecosystem of devices, we want to elevate the digital life of our community with products that seamlessly connect and improve their lifestyle through better technology. We host Open Ears Forums for our community, where we get invaluable feedback from our users. In 2025, we have doubled down on that effort through regular community catch-ups through one-on-one sessions where we carefully listen and understand their needs.

On the product side, we will continue to enhance our hardware and software offering with features we’ve become famous for, like long battery life, [unique] design and [powerful] performance; but also integrate newer technologies, like upgraded OxygenOS, OpenCanvas, and AI, to ensure the OnePlus product experience across all categories and all devices is faster and smoother than ever.

So there you have it, folks – the OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE5 will launch in the UK and Europe on July 8, along with the OnePlus Watch 3 43mm, OnePlus Buds 4, and OnePlus Pad Lite. We’ll be getting all five new products in for testing over the coming weeks, so stay tuned to TechRadar for our full verdicts on OnePlus’ latest mid-range devices.

Nioh 3 officially revealed – and it’s not a PlayStation exclusive, even if there’s a demo you can only play on PS5

by admin June 5, 2025

As part of the PlayStation State of Play, we got treated to the surprise reveal of the next game in the Nioh action RPG series. It’s simply titled Nioh 3, and it’s going to be changing so much of what we know about Nioh.

Nioh 2 is set for release in early 2026.

Manage cookie settings

First, the game is not a timed PlayStation-exclusive, which is great to see (and a first for Nioh). It will be available on PC and PS5 simultaneously when it arrives next year. The even more surprising news is that there’s a demo available right now, though sadly only on PS5.

This is the alpha demo, which implies there’s going to be at least one more demo – beta – prior to launch, if Team Ninja’s history with Nioh is anything to go by. The demo is available only until Wednesday, June 18

Nioh 3 takes place in Japan’s Sengoku period, and stars a new protagonist; a young warrior (Tokugawa) set to be the next Shogun. Obviously Yokai are in the mix here right alongside human enemies.

Nioh 3 is described as an “open field” game, which is a major change for the series. It’s interesting that Team Ninja didn’t call it outright open world, though perhaps the negative criticisms Rise of the Ronin drew for its open-world structure may have had a hand in that.

Regardless, gameplay areas look to be more open than past Nioh games, even if the trailer doesn’t show much of that.

Watch on YouTube

Perhaps the most interesting detail was made in this PlayStation Blog post, where Nioh 3 general producer Fumihiko Yasuda revealed that combat has two main styles: Samurai, and Ninja.

Both styles can be switched between on the fly. The Samurai style is described as the most similar to other Nioh games, though stances weren’t mentioned in the breakdown. The Samurai style also comes with new additions, so it’s not entirely similar. The post mentions Arts Proficiency, which boosts the power of martial arts – an area that’s typically been neglected in Nioh games. There’s also Deflect, which is effectively a parry system.

Then there’s the Ninja style, which has faster movements, and unlocks a host of aerial actions. This is where the Ninjitsu techniques now sit, and some of the abilities discussed include leaving behind a clone after attacking.

Nioh 3 looks to be a big step forward for the series, so we’ll have to wait until we get our hands on it to find out whether Team Ninja has been successful at evolving its formula this time around.

Final Fantasy Tactics Preorders At Amazon Include Exclusive Double-Sided Poster

by admin June 5, 2025

Preorders for the newly announced remaster of Final Fantasy Tactics are starting to go live. The revamped version of the classic turn-based tactics game is getting a $50 physical edition for PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It will be accompanied by a $200 Collector’s Box containing a handful of exclusive collectibles, including a detailed Ramza Beoulve figure, a trio of Chocobo plushies, a pop-up diorama, and more. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles releases on September 30.

Amazon has an exclusive physical edition that comes with a double-sided poster. At the time of our last update, Amazon had opened preorders for the Nintendo Switch version. Final Fantasy Tactics fans should be able to preorder the PS5 edition soon. Along with the double-sided poster, you’ll get the in-game bonuses we’ve outlined below.

Preorder Amazon Exclusive Edition for:

Final Fantasy Tactics – Amazon Exclusive Edition

While the physical edition is only available for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Final Fantasy Tactics will also launch digitally on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and Switch 2. This release strategy–physical editions for Nintendo and PlayStation platforms only–has become very common for Square Enix over the past couple of years.

You can check out the physical edition, Collector’s Box, and in-game preorder bonuses below. For more details on the visual and gameplay enhancements Square Enix made to Final Fantasy Tactics, check out our breakdown of the announcement following the reveal during PlayStation’s State of Play stream.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles Preorder Bonuses

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles Preorder Bonuses

All preorders of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles comes with several in-game items and consumables:

  • White Equipment for Ramza
  • Spiked Boots that increase Jump attribute
  • Mythril Knife (Weapon)
  • 10x High Potion
  • 10x Ether

$50

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles should be available to preorder at more major retailers in the coming days. We’ll update this guide when Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop begin taking preorders.

Note: If you preorder from the Square Enix Store, you will have to pay a $4 standard shipping fee. Additionally, release-day delivery is not guaranteed. Square Enix charges high prices for faster shipping speeds. Two-day shipping is $35, and overnighting the game at launch would cost you $55–so you’d pay more for shipping than the cost of the item itself.

$200 (no game) | $250 with the game

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is getting a jam-packed Collector’s Box that looks appropriately lavish for this all-time classic.

Here’s what you get with the Collector’s Box:

  • Special Art Box: Shown above, the box holding all of the merch has intricate character art against a decorative depiction of Ivalice in the background. Square Enix printed the artwork on matte-textured art paper.
  • Ramza Beoulve Figure (Akademy Version): It’s unclear how tall this figure is, but it is described as a “figure,” not a statue. That said, it does come with a base stand. Overall, this looks like a high-quality figure with vibrant colors and impressive attention to detail.
  • Mini Chocobo Plush Set: Adorable miniature plushies of the standard yellow Chocobo, Black Chocobo, and Red Chocobo. Each plush has an elastic loop, so you can connect it to a backpack or even your belt (if you’re especially cool).
  • Zodiac Stones Acrylic Magnet Set: All 12 Zodiac stones as acrylic magnets.
  • Outlying Church Pop-Up Diorama: A pop-up 3D display of the Outlying Church from the game. If you compare it to in-game screenshots, it looks like an faithful recreation.
  • Art Prints: Printed on glossy polypropylene (plastic) sheets, the three pieces of framable artwork feature: Ramza, a world map of Ivalice, and the key art that’s used for the standard edition of the remaster.

The Collector’s Box is available on its own for $200 or bundled with game for $250. If you choose the latter, the game will be packaged separately. This just means that the Collector’s Box is the same regardless of which choice you make, and the box, as shown above, doesn’t have a Nintendo Switch or PS5 logo on it. Since physical editions aren’t available for Xbox, PS4, or PC, a universal Collector’s Box makes sense.

Square Enix’s store page doesn’t explicitly state that the Collector’s Box is exclusive to its own storefront. If it is available elsewhere, it’d be wise to buy it at a major US retailer. Standard shipping costs $20 from the Square Enix Store to the US. Two-day and overnight shipping is offered, but these options cost $49 and $69, respectively. Not nice.

You can check out all of the collectibles in the image below.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles Collector’s Box

Final Fantasy Tactics is also getting a digital-only Deluxe Edition that includes the following in-game items:

  • Akademy Blade (Weapon)
  • Akademy Beret (Headwear)
  • Akademy Tunic (Combat Garb)
  • Ring of Aptitude (Accessory)
  • Black Equipment for Ramza
  • Red Equipment for Ramza
  • 10x Phoenix Down

Karate Kid 6-Movie 4K Box Set Is Exclusive To Amazon, Includes Collectibles

by admin June 2, 2025

The latest entry in the Karate Kid series, Karate Kid: Legends, hit theaters last week. The new movie stars Ben Wang as Li Fong, a martial arts protege trained by senseis Daniel Laruso (Ralph Macchio)–star of the original Karate kids films and the recent Cobra Kai TV series–and Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), who appeared in the 2010 Karate Kid reboot starring Jaden Smith. Legends bridges the original films and the 2010 reboot into a single continuity–and soon, you’ll be able to grab all six movies, plus a bunch of collectibles, in the upcoming The Karate Kid Ultimate 6-Movie Collection. While no release date has been announced, preorders for the $220 collection are available now exclusively at Amazon.

$220 | Release Date TBA

As the name implies, the The Karate Kid Ultimate 6-Movie Collection bundles all six Karate Kid films into a premium box along with a selection of exclusive merchandise. The six movies in the collection are:

  • The Karate Kid (1984)
  • The Karate Kid II (1986)
  • The Karate Kid III (1989)
  • The Next Karate Kid (1994)
  • The Karate Kid (2010)
  • Karate Kid: Legends (2025)

Each movie in the collection comes in its own case, featuring both 4K UHD and Blu-ray versions on disc, as well as digital download codes. The set also includes a Miyagi-Do headband replica, three dojo patches, 11 trading cards featuring various characters from throughout the franchise, and a special collector’s box that folds out into a pop-up diorama of the final showdown between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence in The Karate Kid.

We also expect to see bonus content, such as commentaries and behind-the-scenes interviews, but these are not yet listed on the Amazon store page.

$45 | Release Date TBA

If you’re more interested in just securing a copy of Karate Kid: Legends, multiple Blu-ray editions are already up for preorder, despite the movie just recently premiering in theaters, including a 4K Steelbook Collector’s Edition. Like the 6-Movie Collector’s Edition, there’s no release date for the Karate Kid: Legends Blu-rays, but both are planned to release on the same day–whenever that is.

Nevertheless, multiple 4K UHD, standard Blu-ray, and even DVD versions are available to preorder at Amazon. It’s also worth noting that the store pages do not list details such as included bonus features or even the final cover art. We also expect the prices to drop closer to the release date. Luckily, thanks to Amazon’s preorder price guarantee, you can reserve a copy now and won’t have to pay until the order ships, and you will only be charged the lowest price if it changes between now and release.

Karate Kid: Legends Preorders

The Karate Kid 6-Film Collector’s Edition

The Karate Kid series kicked off in 1984 with the original The Karate Kid, in which bullied high school kid Daniel LaRusso befriends karate master Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita), who trains Daniel in the philosophy and martial arts style, Miyagi-do, and ultimately faces down his rival Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The first movie was followed up by two direct sequels starring Macchio. Then, in 1994, The Next Karate Kid sees Mr. Miyagi take on a new pupil, Julie Pierce (Hilary Swank).

The series took a 16 year hiatus from the big screen, as was largely considered finished following the death of Pat Morita in 2005, but was eventually rebooted in 2010 with The Karate Kid, starring Jaden Smith as Dre Parker, a young kid whose family moves to China, and eventually becomes the student of Kung Fu master Mr. Han (Jackie Chan). All five films are included in The Karate Kid 6-Film Collection, along with The Karate Kid: Legends.

The only part of the story missing from The Karate Kid Ultimate 6-Movie Collection is the Netflix series, Cobra Kai. While Daniel LaRusso is the only major narrative tie between Cobra Kai and Legends, there are at least a few minor connections and cameos bridging both stories into a cohesive universe. All six seasons of Cobra Kai are streaming on Netflix.

Minecraft Trading Card Boxes With Exclusive Inserts Are Up For Grabs At Amazon

by admin June 1, 2025

Trading card manufacturer Panini has been making official card sets for Minecraft for a few years now, but its latest collection is garnering more attention from Minecraft fans than earlier releases. Most major retailers are either sold out of 2024 Minecraft Trading Card products or limit sales to brick-and-mortar stores. But you don’t need to browse the trading card sections at Walmart or GameStop, because Amazon just stocked Panini’s two major Minecraft card boxes sold in retail stores. These might not be available for very long once more people find them, but as of May 30, you can get Minecraft Blaster Boxes for $15 and Minecraft Trading Card Mega Boxes for $35.

The 2024 Minecraft Trading Card set features over 200 cards, including rare inserts celebrating the franchise’s 15th anniversary, and foil cards that are exclusive to the Blaster and Mega Boxes that Amazon just stocked.

$15

The Blaster Box comes with six booster packs containing six cards each, so you’re getting 36 Minecraft cards for 15 bucks. Panini says the average Blaster Box comes with one Cubic Parallel card per pack. Parallel cards are exclusive to the Blaster and Mega Boxes, which are only sold at select retailers.

Beyond the Cubic Parallel exclusives, you can find Stone Parallels (matte or glossy) and an assortment of increasingly rare numbered pulls: Iron Foil (475), Silver Foil (149), Gold Foil (99), Gold Prizm (49), Opti-Chrome (10), and a numbered 1/1 card if you’re really, really lucky.

In total, the 2024 set includes 221 base cards. The cards feature character art as well as mobs and noteworthy items from the video game. There are 25 bonus cards described as “rare inserts,” including 15 Milestone cards commemorating Minecraft’s 15th anniversary (which was in 2024) and 10 Color Blast cards with flashy art.

$35

Panini’s 2024 Minecraft Mega Box contains 12 booster packs with six cards each. Just like the Blaster Boxes, Mega Boxes have exclusive Cubic Parallel cards. On average, you’ll find 12 Parallel cards, and Panini says one of those cards is likely to be numbered. This fact has likely contributed to stock shortages at retailers.

Booster packs in Mega Boxes are the same as the ones in the Blaster Boxes. The key difference is that your odds of getting a numbered card seem to be better with the Mega versus buying two Blaster Boxes, which would net you the same number of cards overall.

Important Note: Amazon’s product listing has the correct name, but the image is for one of Panini’s older Minecraft Trading Card boxes. It’s highly unlikely that you will get the box shown in Amazon’s picture, as it was originally printed in 2022 and is no longer manufactured.

The Mega Box is shipped and sold by Amazon. It’s worth emphasizing that while Amazon doesn’t accept returns for collectible trading card boxes, if the store page has incorrect information, we suspect that would be the exception. That said, we can’t 100% guarantee Amazon would accept your return (if you wanted one). We’d recommend taking a screenshot of the store page if you decide to order the Mega Box.

Minecraft Trading Cards are sold out at other retailers

Panini – 2024 Minecraft Trading Cards

GameStop and Walmart also carry Minecraft Trading Cards, but you’ll only find them at the retail chains’ brick-and-mortar locations. Walmart shoppers can technically buy card boxes online, but you’ll typically pay extra since the boxes are being listed by third-party resellers. Target and Best Buy have listings for the 2024 set, but both retailers are sold out.

Shortages at major retailers doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t be able to find Minecraft Trading Cards at other places beyond Amazon. If you have a local card shop, we’d recommend calling to see if cards are in stock or can be ordered.

Panini’s Minecraft products are trading cards–not a trading card game–so they are just for collecting purposes. Minecraft fans looking for something to play beyond the video game should check out our roundup of Minecraft board and card games. It includes a wide variety of genres, including an upcoming pen-and-paper RPG called Minecraft: Roll for Adventure – The Temple of the Charged Creeper. The Dungeons & Dragons-inspired adventure book releases July 8 and is available to preorder for $16 (was $20) at Amazon.

It’s very possible that the success of the Minecraft film adaptation has contributed to the increased interest around Panini’s Minecraft newest card set. If you haven’t secured your preorder for one of the soon-to-be released physical editions, check out our Minecraft Movie preorder guide for a list of options. Most notably, you can still preorder A Minecraft Movie’s Limited Edition Steelbook on 4K Blu-ray ahead of its June 24 release. If you don’t mind standard Blu-ray, Walmart has a unique exclusive edition. The Collector’s Crafting Table Edition includes packaging that can be folded into a replica of the in-game (and in-movie) Crafting Table.

N64 games get exclusive Switch 2 features to up the nostalgia

by admin May 27, 2025

The launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 is just about a week away, yet Nintendo is still drip-feeding news about the Switch 2’s new features that’ll separate it from the original Switch. Via the Nintendo Today app on Tuesday, Nintendo shared that a new set of features on the Nintendo Switch Online platform will make its N64 games both more forgiving and more nostalgic.

First up is the ability to rewind gameplay and start again. This’ll be great for when you mistime a jump in a platformer or accidentally fling yourself off the track in Mario Kart 64 (my personal downfall in every Mario Kart game ever).

The Nintendo Today app also revealed CRT filters will be available to add scan-lines to the N64 games. Perfect for when you want to crank the nostalgia up to 11 and pretend its 1998 by making The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time look crappier.

While those features will be exclusive to the Switch 2, the OG Switch and its successor will both receive the ability to remap controls for N64 games. The video shows remapping is available for Joy-Cons as well as the Nintendo 64 controller.
