Bitcoin And Ethereum Funds Shed $1.1 Billion While Solana Investment Products Gain $291 Million – Report

According to a CoinShares report published earlier today, global crypto investment products related to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) experienced total outflows of $1.1 billion over the past week. In contrast, Solana (SOL) investment products attracted $291 million in inflows.

Bitcoin, Ethereum Products Bleed While Solana Shines

Crypto investment products experienced a total net outflow of $812 million over the past week, primarily driven by Bitcoin products, which incurred $719 million in weekly outflows. Ethereum followed with its investment products, losing funds worth $409.4 million.

The report attributes the outflow in BTC and ETH investment products to the lower expectations of interest rate cuts this year, following the stronger-than-anticipated macroeconomic data in the US. Notably, the GDP and durable goods figures were revised to the upside, showing resilience in the economy.

That said, cumulative month-to-date (MTD) inflows remain strong, hovering around the $4 billion mark. Similarly, the cumulative year-to-date (YTD) inflows stand at $39.6 billion, inching closer to last year’s record $48.6 billion inflows.

Notably, BlackRock’s iShares spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) lost $68 million in funds. Meanwhile, Grayscale Investments’ GBTC ETF saw $300 million in outflows, while Fidelity’s FBTC witnessed outflows to the tune of $738 million. The report adds:

Importantly, there was no commensurate increase in short-bitcoin investment product demand, suggesting that the negative sentiment was likely low-conviction and likely to prove temporary.

In terms of countries, the US saw outflows to the tune of $1.03 billion, while Sweden-based crypto investment products lost $13.4 million in funds. On the contrary, Swiss products gained $126 million, while Canadian investment products attracted $58.6 million in inflows.

Unlike Bitcoin and Ethereum investment products, Solana investment products shone as they attracted inflows worth $291 million. Even more impressive, Solana products have pulled in $1.8 billion worth of funds on a YTD basis.

Besides the positive momentum in investment products, SOL is also seeing bullish price action as it steadily moves toward its all-time high (ATH) value of $293, recorded earlier this year in January.

Analysts say that SOL’s recent positive price action can be attributed to the rising likelihood of spot SOL ETFs getting approved in the near term. A recent report remarked that SOL-based ETFs could be approved in as little as two weeks.

Will Macroeconomic Factors Benefit Cryptocurrencies?

Latest data from FedWatch gives an 68% probability of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) lowering interest rates by 50 basis points (bps) during its December 10 meeting. The rate cut is expected to benefit risk-on assets, including cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, and SOL.

In addition, future lower-than-expected inflation readings may further encourage the Fed to slash interest rates on an even larger scale. At press time, BTC trades at $113,628, up 3.1% in the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin Staking Debuts on Ethereum Layer-2 Starknet With STRK Incentives

by admin September 30, 2025

In brief

  • Starknet began letting users stake Bitcoin on Tuesday.
  • The network pays out rewards in Starknet’s STRK.
  • The Starknet Foundation is distributing 100 million in STRK incentives.

Bitcoin became a core part of Starknet’s ecosystem on Tuesday, as the Ethereum layer-2 network began using the asset as a way to secure itself, according to a press release.

Starknet users can now participate in the process of validating transactions by delegating Bitcoin to the network in order to earn rewards, StarkWare, the network’s developers, said. Previously, Starknet users could only stake its native STRK token.

The company also said that RE7, a London-based investment firm, is building a Bitcoin-denominated yield product on Starknet. The Starknet Foundation is planning on using 100 million STRK to encourage Bitcoin-related activity on the network, StarkWare added.

If Bitcoin has a flaw, it’s that the asset is being “too much hodled,” StarkWare co-founder and CEO Eli Ben-Sasson told Decrypt, using a misspelling of “hold” that’s emerged as rallying cry for steadfast cryptocurrency investors in recent years.

Ben-Sasson said that Bitcoin is “pristine capital,” but the asset’s use has been limited so far within the realm of decentralized finance, or DeFi, because centralized exchanges have historically had superior scale, good user experiences, and dirt-cheap prices.

As Bitcoin’s use in borrowing becomes more commonplace, Ben-Sasson said that Starknet is “perfectly aligned to make Starknet the financialization layer and the execution layer for Bitcoin,” a scenario that Ben-Sasson thinks will be winner-takes-most.

This year, crypto exchange Coinbase has leaned into a service that connects its customers with the lending protocol Morpho on its Ethereum layer-2 network Base. Nearly $1 billion worth of loans have originated through the arrangement, according to a Dune dashboard.

StarkWare emphasized that Bitcoin staking on Starknet does not require users to relinquish custody of their assets, arguing that its approach doesn’t make security tradeoffs.

Although StarkWare is positioning Starknet as a Bitcoin layer-2, the network’s staking feature has design elements that don’t fully align with Bitcoin maximalists, who often believe that all other cryptocurrencies are inferior and should be viewed as “shitcoins.”

Those that stake Bitcoin on Starknet receive STRK, Starknet’s native token, as a reward, for example. Other projects trying to bring programmability to Bitcoin, such as GOAT Network, pay out rewards primarily in Bitcoin but still use a native token for incentives as well.

As of Monday, STRK had a market capitalization of $498 million, according to crypto data provider CoinGecko. The asset’s price had fallen 74% over the past year to $0.122. In 2024, STRK hit an all-time high of $4.41, one month after its debut.

The Israeli-based firm said last June that it was raising $1 million to enter the Bitcoin-scaling space. At the time, it came out in support of restoring the OP_CAT, a command within Bitcoin’s programming language that some think could unlock innovation.

Starknet uses a specific zero-knowledge proof system that Ben-Sasson introduced in 2018. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has said the form of advanced cryptography could be key to balancing privacy against regulatory compliance.

Ben-Sasson said that he’s been interested in using zero-knowledge proofs to scale Bitcoin since he discovered it in 2013, but Ethereum was the easiest blockchain to start with.

“I think there’s a much higher need for this stuff on the Bitcoin side,” he said. “We’re not leaving Ethereum, but definitely our main goal in 2025 and 2026 is to service Bitcoin the best possible way that we can.”

Crypto ETFs Suffer Worst Streak Since Launch as Bitcoin and Ethereum Record Heavy Outflows

by admin September 30, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs experienced their worst weekly stretch since debut, as risk appetite declined and investors de-risked heading into quarter-end.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw approximately $902.5 million in net outflows for the week of Sept. 22–26, ending a four-week inflow streak. Ethereum ETFs lost about $795.6 million, marking their largest weekly redemptions since launch.

The outflows were uneven: Fidelity’s FBTC led BTC outflows, while BlackRock’s IBIT and Invesco’s BTCO defied the trend with $173.8 million and $10 million of inflows, respectively. On the ETH side, several issuers experienced large single-day withdrawals, showing how quickly flows can reverse when macro risk increases.

Macro Headwinds Keep Buyers Cautious

The reversal came as traders weighed new U.S. tariff announcements and lingering uncertainty about the Fed’s rate cuts ahead of key inflation data. Those headlines revived fears of a growth and liquidity squeeze, driving a quick reset across risk assets.

Bitcoin briefly slipped below pivotal support intraday before rebounding, while Ethereum mirrored the move with a shallow bounce. Despite the week’s pain, September still shows net inflows for Bitcoin ETFs ($2.57B), a notable improvement from August’s outflows, evidence that institutional adoption remains intact.

For now, the market’s message is clear: without a more dovish macro backdrop or cleaner inflation prints, allocators may remain selective, trimming core BTC/ETH exposure when it is strong and adding only on clear confirmations.

Alternative Crypto ETFs Take Spotlight Over Bitcoin and Ethereum

Beneath the headline of redemptions, some desks report rotations toward thematic or alternative crypto ETFs (e.g., Solana, XRP) as allocators seek uncorrelated catalysts.

That discussion overlaps with speculation about a potential BlackRock XRP spot ETF, with market models suggesting $4–$8B of first-year inflows if such a product were filed and approved. Although no filing has been confirmed, XRP’s quick settlement times and low fees keep it on institutions’ radar.

Nevertheless, the week’s outflows serve as a reminder: macro factors outweigh micro in the short term. As October progresses, focus on whether BTC funds resume steady inflows, if ETH redemptions decrease, and how upcoming inflation data influences Fed expectations.

Until these factors align positively, volatility will remain high, and ETF flow reports will continue to be the best real-time indicators of institutional confidence.

SEC Halts Trading of Bitcoin, Ethereum Treasury Firm QMMM After 2,000% Stock Surge

by admin September 29, 2025

In brief

  • Digital advertising firm QMMM Holdings announced that it was buying Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana earlier this month.
  • The company’s stock has skyrocketed by more than 2,100% over the last month amid the crypto pivot.
  • The SEC has now halted trading of the stock, and alleges that there may be manipulation at play.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has halted trading of a company after its stock boomed by over 2,000% following a recently announced crypto treasury pivot.

Digital advertising firm QMMM Holdings earlier this month announced a plan to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana—causing an explosion in the price of its stock. In September alone, its price has risen by more than 2,100%, according to Yahoo Finance data, finishing Friday at a price of $119.40.

But Wall Street’s biggest regulator said Monday that it was suspending trading of the security until October 10 as it investigates “potential manipulation” of the stock.

“The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of QMMM because of potential manipulation in the securities of QMMM effectuated through recommendations, made to investors by unknown persons via social media to purchase the securities of QMMM, which appear to be designed to artificially inflate the price and volume of the securities of QMMM,” the statement from the SEC read.

Decrypt reached out to the SEC and QMMM Holdings for comment, but did not immediately receive a response from either party.

Hong Kong-based QMMM Holdings said at the start of the month that its treasury will initially start with $100 million worth of cryptocurrency.

The SEC’s announcement comes as regulators pay closer attention to digital asset treasuries—companies that buy cryptocurrency with spare cash. Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that the SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, or FINRA, had contacted companies after identifying unusual trading activity.

A number of companies have bought cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana to get better returns for shareholders. Such firms have often seen their share prices soar—albeit sometimes briefly—after announcing crypto treasury pivots.

Cathie Wood Says She Prefers Bitcoin Over Ethereum

by admin September 29, 2025

  • Warming up to ETH
  • Bullish price prediction

During a recent appearance on “The Master Investor Podcast” with veteran business reporter Wilfred Frost, Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood stated that she favors Bitcoin over Ethereum.

According to Wood, Bitcoin is “the global monetary system,” which is alone “a very big idea.”

The famed stock picker is also bullish on Bitcoin because of its superior technology, noting that the Layer-1 blockchain has never been hacked. “The other blockchains cannot say that,” she added.

Lastly, Bitcoin is also viewed as a new asset class. The largest cryptocurrency is currently the ninth biggest asset with a market cap of roughly $2.2 trillion.

Warming up to ETH

With that being said, Wood has also noted that Ethereum (ETH) plays “a very important role” within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.

She has added that a lot of the fees are going to Layer 2s of the likes of Coinbase’s Base. They, according to Wood, are getting a “disproportionate” amount of fees, and the question is whether or not competing Layer 2s will confer more importance to the Layer 1. Ark Invest thinks that this could be possible, which is why the Florida-based investment firm is betting on ETH.

Bullish price prediction

Ark Invest, which made its first publicly disclosed Bitcoin bet back in 2017, has been bullish on Bitcoin for years. It has both direct and indirect exposure to the leading cryptocurrency by holding the shares of such companies as Strategy (MSTR).

The investment firm has predicted that the price of the leading cryptocurrency could surge to as high as $2.4 million by the end of the decade.

Crypto Market Prediction: Shiba Inu (SHIB) in Free Fall to Add Zero, Ethereum (ETH) Secures $4,000, Bitcoin (BTC): $110,000 Comeback Attempt

by admin September 29, 2025

The price performance of Ethereum, Shiba Inu and Bitcoin is somewhat similar as all those assets are trying to recover and reach price levels that will make them stand out. Unfortunately, those recoveries are almost completely baseless and unlikely to yield strong movements toward local highs.

Shiba Inu not stabilizing?

The price of Shiba Inu has dropped to $0.00001105 and is not showing any signs of stabilizing, marking yet another period of intense pressure. There are no obvious support areas left to stop the decline after the token broke below its multi-month symmetrical triangle structure. Without volume, momentum, or any discernible buy-side strength, SHIB appears on the verge of dropping its price by another zero.

SHIB has lost important moving averages on the technical front, such as the 200-day EMA ($0.0000135) and the 50-day EMA ($0.0000125). The breakdown below these levels emphasizes the dominance of sellers and validates the exhaustion of bullish attempts. A clear rejection from descending resistance is followed by a steady decline with no indication of a demand spike, as the chart depicts.

SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingView

Trends in volume support this pessimistic view. Comparing trading activity to previous accumulation phases, it has collapsed, indicating a sharp decline in investor interest in SHIB. Since there are fewer bids to absorb sell orders, downside moves typically accelerate in low-volume settings. Another level of concern is added by momentum indicators. The RSI is slightly above oversold territory at 37, indicating weak momentum.

Relief rallies may normally be possible during oversold conditions, but in SHIB’s case, any bounce is unlikely to last due to the absence of accompanying volume. SHIB is basically in free fall because there isn’t any strong support. The $0.00001000 level is the next round-number zone. This psychological level may encourage speculative buying, but if it is broken below, SHIB’s price could drop to a new zero and possibly into the $0.00000900 range.

Ethereum takes it back

Ethereum has successfully recovered the $4,000 mark, which has now turned into a battleground for bulls and bears. ETH recovered from the 100-day EMA at $3,800 after a steep decline from highs close to $4,800, regaining significant ground and indicating that buyers are not yet prepared to relinquish control. Ethereum is currently trading just above $4,000 on the daily chart, but the recovery is not strong.

ETH/USDT Chart by TradingView

At 37, a surge of sell pressure caused the RSI to approach oversold territory, providing technical traders with a point of entry for a recovery. Volume data indicates that although buying interest has increased, it is still not robust enough to ensure long-term momentum. Since it serves as a mid-range pivot between the $3,800 support and the $4,300 resistance, as well as a psychological threshold, the $4,000 level is crucial.

The 50-day EMA and the descending resistance trendline converge at $4,280 and $4,300, which are the next targets if ETH can maintain above this level. If there is a breakout above this area, the path may reopen to $4,600 and ultimately retest the cycle highs around $4,800. Still, there is a significant chance of losing $4,000. An additional retest of $3,800, the final solid support before a possible decline toward the 200 EMA around $3,400, would be exposed if ETH were to close below this level on a daily basis.

In summary, while ETH has gained $4,000, the fight is far from over. To keep the recovery going, the bulls must firmly defend this level, any weakness could make the current rebound into just another relief rally inside a larger correction.

Bitcoin pushback

Talk of a possible push back toward $110,000 has been sparked by Bitcoin’s apparent bounce around $109,000. This comeback attempt, however, seems to be more of a transient response than a firm reversal, because it seems brittle and lacks structural support. Recently, Bitcoin fell below the 50-day EMA ($113,700) and the 100-day EMA ($112,200) on the daily chart, indicating short-term weakness. At $106,200, the price is currently just above the 200-day EMA, which is still the last significant safety net for bulls.

Although the 200 EMA has historically served as a long-term support, the current bounce did not come from it; rather, BTC is merely attempting to regain ground following several days of aggressive selling. This is what gives the recovery attempt the appearance of being unfounded. The current upswing lacks volume and conviction, in contrast to recoveries from oversold extremes or strong support zones. The lack of trading activity indicates that buyers are reluctant to intervene forcefully.

Near 38, the RSI is almost oversold, but not quite low enough to indicate exhaustion. This creates space for additional declines in the event that bearish sentiment returns. Bitcoin must recover the $112,000-$114,000 range, where the broken moving averages are currently acting as resistance, in order to confirm the $110,000 comeback. The market would only be able to view this rebound as more than a brief break in the downward trend at that point. Any short-term gains run the risk of being unwound quickly until that time.

To put it briefly, Bitcoin is making an effort to recover toward $110,000, but the move appears uncertain in the absence of a solid base or robust buyer support. The real test is yet to come: either regain momentum and overcome resistance, or run the risk of another retest of the $106,000 level, where the 200 EMA is waiting as the last line of defense.

Ethereum to $5,000? These Three Levels Might Be Key to Watch

by admin September 28, 2025

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency, has returned to $4,000 following a drop in the week just concluded amid a decline in risk sentiment.

At the time of writing, ETH was up 0.43% in the last 24 hours to $4,008, but down 10.07% weekly.

Ethereum fell for five straight days from Sept. 20 to reach a low of $3,825, its weakest level in nearly seven weeks, before paring the drop.

The major cryptocurrency rebounded to a high of $4,071 on Friday following the release of the PCE report, regarded as the Fed’s favored inflation gauge, but this traction was short-lived.

This is as Ethereum’s momentum paused, with price showing little to no change in the last 24 hours. ETH’s price remains tightly locked between $3,974 and $4,040, with the market awaiting its next move.

Three key levels crucial to watch

While traders watch out for where ETH trends next, whether to the upside or downside, crypto analyst Ali highlights three key levels to watch for the ETH price in the event of an upside move.

Ali stated in a tweet that the three resistance levels to watch for Ethereum (ETH) are $4,158, $4,307 and $4,505, with a breach of these key levels ultimately leading ETH to the $5,000 target.

In a recent tweet, Dr Martin Hiesboeck, Uphold’s head of research, stated that confidence in Ethereum is rising. Institutional investor BitMine recently increased its stake to 2.42 million ETH, now holding over 2% of the total supply. This accumulation matches major traditional finance moves: REX Shares is launching its REX-Osprey ETH staking ETF, and Morgan Stanley is adding support for ETH trading on E*Trade, offering millions of clients direct access. Further strengthening the market, ETHZilla raised another $350 million specifically to buy more ETH.

Ethereum’s scaling efforts are also hitting milestones, with the network achieving a new record of six blobs per block, signifying heavy utilization of the data-availability layer by Layer 2s and confirming the success of the Dencun upgrade.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin Dive as Crypto Liquidations Top $1 Billion

by admin September 28, 2025

In brief

  • Liquidations topped $1.1 billion, most of the them long positions.
  • Bitcoin was down 3.6% over the past 24 hours and nearly 7% for the week.
  • Glassnode said that crypto markets were showing “signs of exhaustion.”

Major digital coins including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin plunged on Thursday, with liquidations over a 24-hour period topping $1 billion.

Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, was recently down by 3.6% over the past 24 hours, trading for under $109,554, crypto data provider CoinGecko shows. BTC is down nearly 7% for the week.

While Ethereum, the second biggest digital coin, dropped  7% to trade at $3,887 Thursday afternoon New York time.

Other major cryptocurrencies were battered harder, with Dogecoin plunging by 7.6%. The original meme coin and eighth-biggest digital asset was trading close to $0.23.

Solana also sank by 7.7% to $197. 52. Both SOL and DOGE are down about 21% over the last week alone, making them the biggest losers among the top 100 coins by market cap.

The drop in crypto prices came with a dip in the stock market, with the S&P 500, tech-heavy Nasdaq, and Dow Jones Industrial Average all shedding value.

CoinGlass data shows that over $1.1 billion in traders’ positions betting on the future prices of cryptocurrencies had been liquidated. The vast majority of that number—over $1 billion—were long positions.

Glassnode analysts said in a Thursday report that the biggest digital coin was now “showing signs of exhaustion” as long-term holders had taken profits and ETF flows had slowed down.

“Unless demand from institutions and holders aligns again, the risk of deeper cooling remains high, highlighting a macro structure that increasingly resembles exhaustion,” Glassnode said, noting that the current up cycle has already lasted 1,030 days, just short of the roughly 1,060-day span of the past two bull markets.

Those placing bets on Myriad, a prediction market owned by Decrypt‘s parent company, DASTAN, are also feeling bearish: 70% of betters expect BTC will drop to $105,000 before it reaches $125,000.

Bitcoin’s all-time high currently stands at $124,128. It broke that record in August.

Juan Leon, senior investment strategist at crypto asset manager Bitwise, told Decrypt in an interview that crypto was “at the mercy of macro right now.” Leon noted the specter of a U.S. government shutdown that could lead to mass layoffs, rising geopolitical tensions, and a toxic mix of sagging job markets and upwardly revised GDP numbers that could make an interest rate cut less likely.

“Bitcoin and other crypto assets were already hovering in uncertain territory over the last couple of weeks, and so investors were already a little skittish trying to figure out what direction the market is going to take going into Q4,” Leon said. “So I think investors are just bracing into safety, and crypto assets are getting sold down as a result.”

Leon added, however, that he did not believe that crypto prices had topped out, highlighting the enactment of the Genius Act and likely passage of additional crypto friendly legislation and growing institutional interest in digital assets.

“This cycle is fundamentally different than past cycles, and we have to adjust to the new reality,” Leon said. “This is the first cycle where we have regulatory clarity that is just starting. And this is the first cycle that is being driven by institutional adoption instead of retail adoption. As we know, institutional adoption is slower and more spaced out than the retail sort of driven euphoria that we’ve seen in the past.”

Analysts now await Friday’s Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (PCE), a favored measure of the Federal Reserve, which could determine the U.S. central bank’s next move.

An increase in the PCE could lead to a second consecutive interest rate cut in 2025, which could benefit Bitcoin and other risk assets that traditionally respond well to surges of liquidity in markets.

UPDATE (September 25, 2025, 2:49 p.m. ET): Updates headline, liquidation totals and prices, adds Leon and Glassnode quotes.

Myriad Moves: Ethereum and Solana Sentiment Flips Bearish as Prices Tumble

by admin September 28, 2025

In brief

  • A volatile crypto market has led to drastic odds shifts on some of Myriad’s most-traded prediction markets.
  • Predictors have flipped bearish on Ethereum and PENGU, now suggesting both are more likely to “dump” then rise to new heights.
  • While a Solana all-time high by the year’s end felt likely last week, predictors now no longer expect it.

The crypto market is slumping this week as liquidations surge, prompting major changes to some of Myriad’s most traded prediction markets.

In the span of a week, predictors have flipped from bullish to bearish, swinging the odds completely for markets related to the price of Ethereum, Solana, and Pudgy Penguins’ culture coin, PENGU.

Here’s a deeper look into some of the most-traded markets on Myriad this week.

(Disclaimer: Myriad Markets is a product of Decrypt’s parent company, DASTAN.)

Ethereum’s next hit: moon to $5K or dip to $3.5K?

Market Open: August 11
Market Close: Open to resolution
Volume: $140K
Link: See the latest odds on the “Ethereum’s Next Hit: Moon to $5K or Dip to $3.5K” market on Myriad

The euphoria around the short-lived Ethereum all-time high push last month has all but faded at present time. The second-largest crypto asset by market cap came within $54 of hitting $5,000 in late August, but has since slid below $4,000 at the time of writing.

That price volatility has mirrored itself on the Myriad market that asks predictors about the next stop for ETH—$3,500 or $5,000.

Since the market opened on August 11, predictors had leaned bullish, with odds hitting as high as 81% in favor of $5,000 on September 13. Less than two weeks later, though, the market has flipped bearish, with predictors now favoring a dip to $3,500 at 68%.

After a hectic race to accumulate Ethereum, digital asset treasuries have cooled their pace of late and Ethereum ETFs have seen three consecutive days of outflows, further pulling the price of ETH down alongside the broader market.

Now more than 20% off its all-time high, ETH sits around 11% from the $3,500 level in this market. Holders looking to hedge their positions on Myriad could stand to gain around 32% should the asset fall to that marker sooner than it can make the leap to $5,000.

What’s Next? ETH is now down 15% in the last seven days, with analysts telling Decrypt on Thursday that a key support level sits at $3,000.

New Solana all-time high by year end?

Market Open: August 6
Market Close: December 31
Volume: $94.4K
Link: See the latest odds on the “New Solana All-Time High By Year End” market on Myriad

Solana made a new all-time high of $293.31 in January as it gained enormous amounts of attention and momentum amid the launch of the President’s official meme coin.

Since that time though, it’s fallen 32% to $197.14.

Myriad asks predictors whether or not SOL will hit a new all-time high before the end of the year. Last week, predictors said “yes,” giving 66% odds of a new high mark for SOL before 2026.

Fast-forward one week, however, and things are much different.

SOL has fallen more than 21% in the last seven days as the broader market slumps, pulling down odds of the new all-time high by a similar amount. Those odds now stand at 43% as predictors lean bearish on the feat.

The token’s slide stands in the face of increasing Solana treasury buy pressure, one part of the recipe that Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan identified is crucial for an “epic” end to the year for SOL. Last week, Forward Industries bought nearly $1.6 billion worth of SOL for its treasury. It later filed for $4 billion more in funding to fuel additional purchases.

That buy pressure combined with looming ETF decisions in the next month could be a catalyst for the run to a new all-time high. But is it already priced in? Predictors must think so.

What’s Next? SEC decisions on as many as 90 ETFs, many tracking Solana, are expected in mid-October.

PENGU price: pump to $0.05 or dump to $0.02?

Market Open: September 16
Market Close: Until resolution
Volume: $22.1K
Link: See the latest odds on the “PENGU Price: Pump to $0.05 or Dump to $0.02?” market on Myriad

Since its launch late last year, PENGU has provided Pudgy Penguins enthusiasts with an opportunity to invest in a fungible asset—something other than the Ethereum NFT collections tied to the brand.

The ecosystem’s culture coin launched on Solana in December and quickly jumped above $0.06 before retracing in the following weeks—and trading well below $0.01 for most of Q1. After another steep rise this summer, the token has fallen 29% in the week, now changing hands at $0.027.

The recent price action has led to volatility in Myriad’s prediction market, which asks predictors which stop is next for PENGU—$0.05 or $0.02.

Last week, predictors were bullish, placing odds at $0.05 at more than 68% this time last Thursday. But in just one week, the odds have done a complete reversal, shifting more than 30% in both directions and now favoring $0.02 as the likely next step for PENGU.

PENGU hasn’t been as low as $0.02 since July, and to get there, it would need to fall a further 27% from today’s mark. Predictors feel that’s much more likely than an 82% jump to $0.05.

What’s Next? A decision on Canary’s PENGU ETF is due in the coming weeks. If approved, could it be a catalyst needed to propel the asset back towards $0.05?

$1,730,000,000 in 3 Days, Ethereum Whales Have Hidden Agenda

by admin September 28, 2025

Ethereum (ETH) has, in the last 72 hours, traded below the critical $4,000 price level as it failed to stabilize above this price. The price dip has not stopped Ethereum whales from aggressively accumulating the asset within the period. In the past three days, these large holders have received 431,018 ETH from different exchanges.

Ethereum price reclaims $4,000 amid whale-driven volatility

As spotted by Lookonchain, an on-chain analytics platform on X, this acquired volume of Ethereum is worth $1.73 billion. The whales withdrew the assets from different exchanges, including Kraken, BitGo, Galaxy Digital and OKX.

The 431,018 ETH were moved into 16 different private wallets. This move is significant considering the direction of flow. Generally, when a holder pulls assets from an exchange into a wallet, it indicates they are unwilling to sell.

The actions of these whales imply that they are not ready to dump off their assets on the market, regardless of the price dip. Additionally, pulling out over 431,000 ETH from these exchanges reduces the circulating supply, which is available for trading.

Such a development is a bullish signal as it creates scarcity in the market. This could catalyze a price rebound in the market. It also suggests that the whales are confident of a higher price value for ETH in the near future, hence they have decided to take their assets to private storage.

Worth mentioning is that despite the bullish accumulation, Ethereum’s price has continued its volatile swings. In the last 24 hours, the Ethereum price has traded between a low of $3,877.82 and a peak of $4,069.17. As of this writing, it exchanges at $4,010.40, representing a 3.08% increase within the period.

The price increase was largely due to the whale accumulations. However, it is unlikely to stay above $4,000 as trading volume is still in the red zone. Currently, this metric is down by a massive 41.63% at $36 billion.

How might whale action affect ETH price outlook?

Meanwhile, as these Ethereum whales are withdrawing from different exchanges to their private wallets, another early investor sprang to life. This wealthy investor, who has been dormant for eight years, recently transferred 200,000 ETH to two new addresses.

It also did not engage in a sell move as it still has a total of 736,316 ETH valued at $2.89 billion across eight different wallets.

These movements of whales within the Ethereum ecosystem have sparked speculation. Market participants are curious as to what agenda the large holders have and the impact it might have on price outlook.
