Elon Musk Randomly Drops in on Small Town; Reminds Everyone He Is Still Canadian

by admin August 20, 2025

British Columbia and a tiny fishing village is now atwitter after the world’s wealthiest man made an unannounced appearance over the weekend.

Elon Musk, the controversial and now apparently political CEO of Tesla and X, touched down in Bella Bella—an isolated town nestled in the Great Bear Rainforest—before departing again by helicopter.

His visit to the town with approximately 1,500 residents was a surprise.

Local resident Seán Carter told the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation that the area is no stranger to high-profile visitors.

He added that Musk was possibly passing through en route to James Murdoch, son of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who is a board member at Tesla, where Musk serves as CEO, and who owns a property off the coast.

“It’s not every day the richest man in the world comes through town,” he said. “That’s going to be a tough one to top.”

CBC News confirmed that Musk’s private jet touched down in Vancouver late Friday night and departed Monday afternoon. Visual evidence viewed by the CBC reportedly aligns with flight data tracked online and show Musk arriving and departing.

Wait, Elon Musk is Canadian?

If you follow the lore of Musk, he was born in South Africa and is a Canadian citizen through his mother, Maye Musk, who was born in Regina, according to official biographies. Musk moved to Saskatchewan and then Vancouver as a teen, and attended college in Canada.

In recent months, Musk’s visits and Canadian ties have fueled debate. Earlier this year, a petition circulated calling for the government to revoke his citizenship over his role in President Trump’s White House, exactly as Musk was getting heavy handed in tariff talks between the two countries.

In Ontario and Western Canada, Musk’s tempestuous influence has also complicated political relationships.

Quebec, B.C., and other provinces have debated decisions to exclude Tesla from EV rebate programs in response to U.S. tariffs, with B.C. Premier David Eby citing “retaliation” as the reason. In a move that showed at least one of Musk’s businesses still matters to Canadian communities, more than half of Canadian rural areas are buying services from Musk’s Starlink satellite internet to improve connectivity.

Musk has gone back and forth on his own complicated feelings about Canada.

In 2023, he posted a photo wearing a “I Love Canada” T-shirt and declared himself “half-Canadian.” But in February 2025, in response to the citizenship revocation petition, he tweeted, “Canada is not a real country” before deleting the message.

Carter told the CBC that, politics aside, Musk’s passage through Bella Bella was one for the history books. “No matter what your opinion of him is, it’s something to follow,” he said.

Locals have mixed feelings about Musk

The town’s residents clearly had mixed feelings about Musk’s drop-in.

Emily Lowan, a candidate for the B.C. Green Party leadership, posted images of Musk’s arrival on social media, writing, “yet another reason to tax billionaires out of existence.”

But in typical Canadian fashion, Carter said that Musk did not get any special treatment at the local airport and then had to walk for a bit.

“It was quite busy,” Carter said. “The plane landed on one side, the helicopter on the other, and he had to walk a long way. He probably hoped to come in and out quietly, but there are no secrets in this town.”

Ethereum Whales Panic-Sell As $Eth Price Drops

Ethereum Whales Panic-Sell as $ETH Price Drops

by admin August 20, 2025

What began as a shakeout of weak hands has quickly turned into a rush for the exit, with Ethereum (ETH) now caught under heavy selling pressure.

Today alone, Ethereum has dropped 5%, slipping from an intraday high of $4,379 during Asian trading hours, while trading activity fell by 11%. Because of this, whales have reportedly dropped out of their positions due to the drop, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to Lookonchain, large holders moved $148 million worth of ETH to exchanges in just three hours. These transfers created more selling pressure and pulled prices down further.

At the same time, data from Coinglass showed that investors in traditional markets are also pulling out. On Monday, Ethereum ETFs saw $196.6 million in net outflows. This was the second-largest daily loss ever recorded for ETH ETFs.

Meanwhile, the selling did not just start. Last Friday, Ethereum ETFs had already recorded $59 million in outflows, bringing the two-day total to $256 million. This shift from accumulation in the market is often a warning sign of weak conviction.

ETH Builds News key Support Level

Right now, Ethereum is trading in a descending channel and heading toward an important support zone at $4,150. With most of the daily candles red in the last week, ETH is testing supports.

With dropping over 17% in this small time frame, market participants are filled with fear, however even in this bearish sentiment, firms like SharpLink and Bitmine counties to buy more on more ETH.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is now near 35, and this suggests that sellers are running out of stream. At the same time, the MACD indicator shows weak selling pressure after a recent “death cross.”

The $4,150 level is now a delicate zone. If the market respects it, price could bounce back to $4,787, which is a possible 17% gain from current level. But for now, there’s no reason for recovery.

HBAR Drops 2.5% After Breaking Key Support Levels

by admin August 19, 2025

HBAR saw sharp selling pressure during the latest session, slipping from $0.241 to $0.238 between 13:25 and 14:24 on August 19. An early spike to $0.243 was quickly reversed as heavy selling drove the token through key support levels. A 5.38 million volume surge at 13:32 confirmed the breakdown, before trading activity dried up in the final minutes and HBAR closed near session lows.

Across the 24-hour period from August 18 at 15:00 to August 19 at 14:00, the token declined 2.46%, falling from $0.244 to $0.238. Trading was volatile, with HBAR ranging between $0.249 and $0.237 on volume exceeding 87 million.

Broader market conditions added pressure, as the U.S. Producer Price Index rose to 3.3%, above Federal Reserve forecasts, fueling inflation concerns and contributing to $460 million in liquidations across digital assets.

Despite the turbulence, analysts highlight HBAR’s enterprise-grade infrastructure and corporate partnerships as a foundation for long-term adoption, even as near-term sentiment remains fragile.

HBAR/USD (TradingView)

Corporate Technical Analysis Framework
  • HBAR exhibited pronounced selling momentum during the last 24-hour period from August 18 at 15:00 to August 19 at 14:00, declining from $0.24 to $0.24, representing a 2.46% decrease with an overall trading range of $0.01 (4.81%).
  • The digital asset reached its intraday peak at $0.25 during August 18 evening trading before encountering substantial resistance and initiating a sustained decline that persisted through Asian trading session.
  • Critical support at $0.24 was decisively breached during early morning trading hours on August 19, with high-volume selling pressure confirming the breakdown.
  • The failure to reclaim this support level despite multiple recovery attempts suggests further downside potential toward the $0.24 support zone.
  • HBAR’s selling trajectory intensified during the final 60 minutes from August 19 at 13:25 to 14:24, declining from $0.24 to $0.24 with extreme volatility characterized by a dramatic spike to $0.24 at 13:30.

Stellar’s XLM Token Drops 6% as Institutional Selling Intensifies

by admin August 19, 2025

Stellar’s XLM token came under heavy institutional selling pressure between August 17 at 3:00 PM and August 18 at 2:00 PM, sliding from $0.43 to $0.41 in a 6% decline.

Trading volumes during the 24-hour period topped $30 million, representing roughly 7% of daily turnover.

The most notable liquidation event occurred between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM on August 18, when institutional sellers offloaded more than 60 million tokens. This selloff forced XLM down from $0.42 to $0.41, creating strong resistance at the $0.42 level and defining new support near $0.41.

Despite attempts at recovery, the asset consistently failed to breach the resistance zone, signaling persistent institutional bearishness and leaving XLM vulnerable to further downside.

The final trading hour on August 18 added fresh pressure, as XLM registered a 1% drop between 1:21 PM and 2:20 PM. Institutional selling accelerated between 1:31 PM and 1:42 PM, with corporate liquidations pushing prices from $0.41 to $0.41 on volumes exceeding 2.7 million units.

This flurry of activity confirmed resistance at $0.41 and set a short-term support floor at the same level. Multiple recovery attempts throughout the hour were met with renewed selling pressure, culminating in a stagnant close around $0.41 with minimal volume in the last 20 minutes.

The lack of buying interest highlights the possibility of further weakness should sellers regain momentum.

NFT Market Cap Drops $1.2B as Ether Declines; Penguins Overtake Apes

by admin August 18, 2025

The non-fungible token (NFT) market lost more than $1.2 billion in value in less than a week as Ether’s rally slowed, according to sector data.

On Monday, NFT Price Floor data showed that the total valuation of NFT collections had dropped to $8.1 billion, a 12% decline from Wednesday’s NFT market cap of $9.3 billion, which had surged 40% since July.

NFTs losing $1.2 billion in valuation in less than a week coincided with a 9% drop in Ether (ETH) prices. At the time of writing, Cointelegraph data showed ETH traded at $4,260, down from a high of about $4,700 on Wednesday.

Many NFTs are minted on the Ethereum network. With valuations and sales denominated in ETH, bullish or bearish momentum in the crypto asset often translates into increased or decreased value in the NFT sector. As ETH went down 4% in the last 24 hours, a majority of the top 10 collections also showed declines in value.

NFT market cap drops by over 12% as ETH declines

While it continued to be the top collection by market capitalization, CryptoPunks saw about $300 million wiped from the collection’s value.

At the time of writing, data showed it was worth $2.1 billion, down 12% from its 2.4 billion market cap on Wednesday.

CryptoSlam data showed that the collection’s sales volume reached $12.7 million, a 34% drop in the last seven days. Total sales only reached 51, down 28% in the last week.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), which was ranked second in overall NFT market capitalization on Wednesday, dropped to third place on Monday, as the collection declined to $482.3 million.

This represented an almost 20% drop from Wednesday’s $602 million.

Penguins overtake Apes in market capitalization

Meanwhile, Pudgy Penguins climbed to the second-highest valuation despite erasing about $100 million in overall value.

On Monday, the collection’s market cap was $491 million, down 17% from Wednesday’s $591 million.

Last week, publicly traded blockchain company BTCS Inc. announced that it added three Pudgy Penguins NFTs to its corporate digital asset treasury.

This showed that companies are beginning to recognize blue-chip NFT collections as legitimate assets for treasury diversification.

Bitcoin Exchange Balance Drops To Lowest, Will BTC Price Reclaim $111K?

by admin June 25, 2025

Bitcoin balance on crypto exchanges has dropped to its lowest today. Will this act as a catalyst in BTC price reclaiming its $111,000 mark?

The Bitcoin price has made a strong comeback this week after crashing below $100,000 for the first time in over a month. Additionally, it is now trading only at a discount of approximately 4%. On the other hand, the on-chain sentiments are turning extremely bullish this week, highlighting a sustained positive action.

Bitcoin Exchange Balance Drops To New ATL Today

As per the data from Coinglass, the Bitcoin balance on exchanges have dropped to a new all-time low (ATL). Notably, the balance is now at 2.07 million with Coinbase pro holding the highest reserve of 638,226 BTCs, followed by Binance with 535,797 tokens.

Moreover, other 18 exchanges hold a collective total of approximately 895,270 Bitcoins. This shows rising accumulation of this token among the investors and whales.

BTC Price Jumps Over 8% in 72 Hours

The Bitcoin price has jumped over 8% in 72 hours, from $98,500 to over $107,500. Moreover, with an intraday trading volume of $51.98 billion, it is presently listed at $107,639. Following this, the market capitalization of it has increased to $2.14 trillion with a dominance of over 65% for the first time since 18th of January 2021.

The Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) 20, 50, 100, 200 is an important indicator used by investors to determine the potential entry and exit points in the market. In this chart, all 4 EMAs are under the price trend, suggesting increasing volatility for the BTC price in the market.

The Stochastic RSI has displayed a strong upward trend in the daily time frame after successfully breaking out of its oversold (20) range. Moreover, with its 3-day average (blue) trendline on the verge of retesting its overbought (80) range. This shows a positive outlook for Bitcoin this week.

A sustained bullish action could push the BTC price toward its resistance level of $109.631 or upper target price of $111,970 during the coming days.

On the contrary, a bearish reversal may pull the price of Bitcoin toward its immediate support trendline of $107,218 soon. Additionally, it could retest its lower support level of $104,810 if the bearish sentiment intensifies this week.

Dell Touchscreen Laptop (64GB RAM, 2TB SSD) Drops by 74% Off, Making It the Cheapest 5-Star Computer

by admin June 25, 2025

A lot of us have jobs, studies, and hobbies that require a lot of oomph when it comes to computing power. It means that a low-level laptop just isn’t going to cut it, and that also means that we end up staring coldly at some seriously expensive bits of tech. It doesn’t have to be that way though, not if you know where to look for really good deals.

See at Amazon

We’ve found one such deal today. Thanks to a massive discount on Amazon, you can currently get your hands on the Dell Inspiron 15 3530 touchscreen laptop with a preposterous 74% off. That means it’s down to $1,006 right now, instead of the listed price of $3,800.

Do It On The Go

Let’s go through all of the specs for this mighty laptop. We’ll kick off with the internals: an Intel 10 i7-1355U processor, an immense 64 GB RAM, and a 2TB SSD. That’s enough to make sure you can run more or less anything you could want to, and it’ll run like butter. Well, it’ll be as smooth as butter, butter isn’t actually very good at running, nor do we suggest you put butter on this or any other laptop. Seriously though, 64GB of RAM is a truly absurd amount, and it’ll make sure this laptop can handle multitasking with no drawbacks whatsoever. The 2TB SSD is both massive and fast as well, so there’ll be no problems storing videos, projects, or anything else on it.

The screen is no slouch either. The 15.6-inch screen is fully HD, with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, beautiful colors, and anti-glare, which is basically essential if you’re going to be using this while commuting. It’s just got everything you need to be working or creating on the go, or to help you work around your home if you don’t have a PC there. It even comes with Windows 11 Professional and lifetime access to Microsoft Office Pro as well, which means you don’t have to worry about your professional software in the slightest.

All-in-all, this is a lot of tech squished into one incredibly portable laptop body, and it’s got stats that other laptops dream of. That’s a lot of power and value for just $1,006 (-74% off). Just remember that this deal isn’t going to stick around forever, so if you do want to get your hands on it, you’d better be quick to avoid the disappointment of narrowly missing out on this excellent opportunity.

Bitcoin Deposit Activity Drops To Historic Low As ETFs And Long-Term Holding Gain Ground

by admin June 25, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

As Bitcoin (BTC) continues to hold above the psychologically important $100,000 price level, a “true paradigm shift” is emerging among investors. Notably, exchange deposit activity is declining, signalling growing confidence in BTC as a reliable store of value.

Bitcoin Deposit Address Activity Plunges To Historic Lows

According to a recent CryptoQuant Quicktake post by on-chain contributor Darkfost, there has been a noticeable shift in the number of BTC wallet addresses depositing to exchanges since the 2021 bull cycle.

The analyst shared the following chart to support their analysis. It shows a steady increase in the number of addresses depositing BTC on exchanges between 2015 and 2021, peaking at an annual average of approximately 180,000.

Bitcoin exchange depositing addresses have declined following the 2021 cycle | Source: CryptoQuant

However, this trend has sharply reversed since then and has shown no signs of recovery. Notably, the 10-year average for the number of addresses depositing BTC to exchanges currently sits around 90,000.

Shorter-term metrics reinforce this decline. The 30-day moving average (MA) is hovering around 48,000, while the daily figure has dropped to just 37,000. This drastic behavioral shift among investors can be attributed to two key factors.

First, the emergence of BTC exchange-traded funds (ETFs) has redirected a significant portion of demand away from spot exchanges. ETFs allow exposure to Bitcoin’s price performance without the complexity or risk of self-custody.

Second, retail participation has been relatively subdued in the current market cycle, naturally reducing the number of active deposit addresses. The analyst noted:

More investors, and now even companies, are adopting a long-term vision for BTC, choosing to hold it as savings or treasury reserves rather than actively trading it.

Is BTC Preparing For A New High?

As the number of addresses depositing BTC to exchanges continues to decline, several indicators point toward the potential for a new all-time high (ATH). Recent analysis by crypto analyst CryptoGoos suggests that short-term sellers are “getting exhausted,” implying that selling pressure may ease soon.

Similarly, the Bitcoin Rainbow Chart – a long-term valuation model used to identify overvaluation and undervaluation zones – recently flashed a “buy” signal. Although, the wider market demand remains weak.

Macroeconomic conditions are also turning favorable. An increase in the global M2 money supply is expected to benefit risk-on assets like Bitcoin. Some experts now predict BTC could rise as high as $150,000 as liquidity expands.

That said, not all signs are bullish. Miner-to-exchange transfers have recently spiked to historic highs, potentially signalling increased selling pressure from BTC miners. At press time, BTC is trading at $105,141, up 2.6% in the past 24 hours.

Solana (SOL) Drops 8% as Middle East Conflict Intensifies, Driving Crypto Sell-Off

by admin June 22, 2025

Solana (SOL)

is trading at $128.82, down 8.33% in the past 24 hours, after a steep intraday correction linked to rising geopolitical tensions. The token dropped from $140.39 to $127.25, with the sharpest hourly decline occurring at 13:00, when sell pressure spiked and trading volume exceeded 4 million, according to CoinDesk Research’s technical analysis model.

The market reaction followed confirmed reports of U.S. military strikes targeting Iranian nuclear sites, triggering widespread risk aversion across crypto markets.

Some traders now worry that a closure of the Strait of Hormuz, even if temporary, could send oil prices soaring. That would likely stoke inflation, reduce the odds of near-term Fed rate cuts, and prolong the risk-off environment hurting crypto markets. A direct attack on the waterway could intensify the sell-off in altcoins, as bitcoin dominance historically rises during periods of geopolitical turmoil.

SOL’s decline also marked a break below key technical levels, including the 200-day simple moving average near $149.54. Throughout the session, SOL printed lower highs and struggled to sustain rebounds, pointing to weakening market structure. With elevated volume on red candles and technical indicators flashing bearish, traders are now watching the $120–$125 zone as a potential support area.

Technical Analysis Highlights

  • SOL dropped 8.1% from $140.39 to $129.02 during the analysis period, forming an $11.37 decline.
  • The session’s widest price range stretched from $141.14 to $126.85, a 10.2% intraday swing.
  • The largest hourly drop occurred at 13:00, with price falling from $133.58 to $128.82 on 4.03M volume.
  • A descending channel developed across the session, with lower highs and lower lows confirming bearish structure.
  • Key resistance formed at $133.80, which capped multiple rebound attempts.
  • Initial support emerged at $127.43, while a new intraday floor formed at $128.90.
  • From 15:25 to 15:27, a volume spike pushed price below $129.30 during a continuation sell-off.
  • Late-session movement showed SOL trading between $130.42 and $128.85 under consistent sell pressure.
  • Several recovery attempts near $130.05 failed as volume increased on each rejection.
  • Significant supply concentration appeared near $130.20, reinforcing short-term bearish momentum.
