According to a recent report by Ripple, the company’s donations have now topped $200 million since 2018.
The donations have helped to accelerate financial inclusion via various pilots with GOS and different startups.
Ripple says that it has supported blockchain and crypto research at more than 60 universities across the globe. The company has funded a total of 183 scholarships and fellowships.

Last year, Ripple’s long-standing University Blockchain Research Initiative (UBRI) welcomed several new universities in such countries as Taiwan, Germany, and South Korea.
“We are indebted to our nonprofit and academic partners for their subject matter expertise and collaborative enterprise,” Ripple said.
