Dogecoin Price Stages Big Rebound as Volume Rockets 65%

by admin September 29, 2025

Dogecoin (DOGE), the king of meme coins, has staged a big rebound as the volume recorded a massive uptick in the last 24 hours. DOGE’s price has climbed by over 2.55%, higher than Bitcoin’s 2.5%. CoinMarketCap data shows Dogecoin’s volume has skyrocketed by more than 65% within this period.

Is SEC decision on DOGE ETFs behind market optimism?

Dogecoin is witnessing this level of volume increase as the market anticipates key decisions from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Notably, the SEC has a deadline to rule on over a dozen DOGE exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The SEC has to decide on these applications in October.

The volume spike might be a sign that investors are actively accumulating the meme coin in anticipation of a possible approval. Many believe that an approval could increase institutional adoption and trigger further price increases.

Polls on the crypto market have placed the approval chances of the spot DOGE ETF at 92%.

Additionally, the Altcoin Season Index has increased to 66, signaling more funds are rotating from Bitcoin to assets like DOGE.

As of press time, the Dogecoin price was changing hands at $0.2369, which represents a 3.27% increase in the last 24 hours. The meme coin, within this time frame, rose from a low of $0.2292 to a peak of $0.2375, suggesting potential for higher price levels.

Dogecoin Daily Price Chart | Source: CoinMarketCap

The trading volume has soared by 80.25% to $2.35 billion as market participants are gripped by a fear of missing out (FOMO). They are likely accumulating the asset as the price is still below the critical $0.30 level.

If DOGE can break out above this price resistance level, the meme coin could proceed to post impressive gains. Some believe that this might be the last opportunity for investors to buy Dogecoin cheaply, as prices could soar astronomically if technical patterns align.

Utility push adds long-term value for Dogecoin

Meanwhile, Timothy Stebbing, Director, Dogecoin Foundation, is pushing for more utility for the meme coin. Stebbing argued that increased utility will drive the adoption of DOGE in the broader financial space. The goal is to ensure that DOGE gains acceptance and pulls in more users to the ecosystem.

The meme coin’s golden cross formation could support its upward movement and allow it to exit bear traps in the market. Dogecoin is likely to surge past $0.50 if a bullish breakout occurs, and the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, records a surge too.

Solana, Dogecoin and Others Lead Gains as Short Liquidations Top $260M

by admin September 29, 2025

In brief

  • Top alcoins have risen 3–4% in the past 24 hours, partially reversing last week’s sell-off.
  • About $345 million in crypto liquidations were recorded, mostly from short positions.
  • One analsyt expects near-term consolidation before capital rotation into select altcoin segments in Q4.

A weekend surge in crypto has partially erased last week’s losses as traders look to regain a bullish foothold in the market.

Solana, Dogecoin, Cardano, Ethereum, and XRP have led gains among the ten largest cryptocurrencies by market value, rising between 3% and 4% on the day, according to CoinGecko.

Nearly $260 million worth of short positions have been wiped out, bringing the 24-hour total for all liquidations to $345 million, according to CoinGlass figures.

Shivam Thakral, CEO of BuyUcoin, told Decrypt the uptick in Bitcoin has triggered a short-covering move, which in turn has amplified prices for altcoins.

Short covering occurs when sellers are forced to buy their positions to offset losses as the price moves against them.

Due to a correlation between Bitcoin and altcoins, Thakral expects prices to consolidate until traders begin rotating capital into altcoins sometime this week.

Looking to the fourth quarter, Thakral expects narrative-driven altcoin sectors, such as Layer 2, AI, and staking derivatives, to attract a bid.

While a handful of altcoins may experience “outsized returns,” others that lack “story, roadmap, and adoption” are likely to stagnate, he added.

Experts who previously spoke to Decrypt have shared a similar bullish outlook for Bitcoin and the broader crypto market, despite last week’s downtrend and institutional outflow.

The Fear and Greed Index, meanwhile, has bounced from fear territory last Friday to neutral as of Monday, according to CoinGlass data, reflecting the broader bullish sentiment following the weekend rally.

The overall crypto market capitalization hovers around $2.23 trillion, up 2.35% in the last 24 hours.

Elon Musk and Dogecoin: How the Billionaire Became the ‘Dogefather’

by admin September 28, 2025

With Dogecoin making a comeback late last year and early into 2025, some may be pondering: Where did the asset come from? What’s it for? And what’s Tesla CEO Elon Musk got to do with it?

The original meme coin’s boom largely has the world’s richest man to thank. Musk’s obsession with shitposting helped boost the coin to a top 10 cryptocurrency.

It’s been a wacky ride over the past few years, culminating in Musk’s appointment to lead a government agency called DOGE—yes, really. But we’ll explain it all.

2018: What the DOGE?

Dogecoin is the biggest and oldest meme coin and the second-biggest proof-of-work cryptocurrency. It was created in 2013 as a joke by developers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer.

The idea was to poke fun at the huge number of altcoins and crypto projects entering the market following Bitcoin’s rapid ascent, and the coin enjoyed relative obscurity and a low price during its early years.

But then along came Musk. The eccentric billionaire asked Palmer in a 2018 tweet to help with the Twitter bot problem. Scammers had created a number of fake high-profile accounts, including Musk’s, in order to push crypto cons. The scams typically posted fake Ethereum giveaways.

It was the first real interest Musk had shown in Dogecoin.

2019: The pump begins

Musk started to pump Dogecoin the next year. “Dogecoin might be my fav cryptocurrency,” he wrote in April 2019, in response to a screenshot of a poll from the official Dogecoin account asking who should be the cryptocurrency’s CEO. “It’s pretty cool.”

The post would be the first of many to cause the asset’s value to rocket upwards. Soon after Musk’s first tweet about Dogecoin, the market cap of the coin hit $400 million and crypto exchange Huobi listed it.

Musk being Musk, however, didn’t stop there: He branded himself Dogecoin’s CEO—briefly—on Twitter before continuing to fire out tweets asking if the coin is “really a valid form of currency” or posting memes associated with the original dog-coin.

2020/2021: Bull run arrives

Musk continued to pump Dogecoin’s price here and there with his tweets, but things really got started during the 2021 bull run. Major exchanges like Coinbase Pro listed Dogecoin and the asset developed a bigger cult following, not to mention growing mainstream awareness.

DOGE gained a market cap bigger than many companies in the S&P 500. And developers exclusively told Decrypt that they had secretly been working with Musk since 2019 to make the coin a valid payment method and a greener, cheaper alternative to Bitcoin.

But things got stranger when Musk called himself the “Dogefather” ahead of a “Saturday Night Live” skit about the cryptocurrency—again sending the asset’s price roaring upwards. DOGE would jump to its all-time high price of about $0.73 at this time.

Musk’s “SNL” appearance ended up being underwhelming for Doge fans, with the SpaceX boss and his mother’s allusions to the coin ultimately pushing its price down. Still, it continued to bring the strange world of meme coins to the mainstream.

Later that year, Musk announced that his rocket company, SpaceX, would launch a satellite to the moon—completely funded by the cryptocurrency.

2022: Tesla/Twitter mania

The Doge mania continued into 2022 when Musk’s car company started accepting Dogecoin for merchandise.

Dogecoin continued to experience price bumps when Musk bought Twitter and rebranded it to X, hinting that it would also become a payments platform that might, eventually, integrate the O.G. meme coin.

Things came back to bite Musk later that year, though, when an American man hit the billionaire and Tesla and SpaceX with a $258 billion lawsuit for allegedly pumping Dogecoin—an asset with “no value at all,” according to the original filing.

But Musk and his lawyers scored a win in 2024 when a judge sided with them and dismissed the lawsuit, calling the tech entrepreneur’s tweets about Dogecoin “aspirational and puffery,” and noting that “no reasonable investor could rely upon them.”

2024-2025: Trump, Musk, and DOGE

Dogecoin had a relatively quiet 2023, but the meme coin has soared over the last year following Musk’s support of Republican Donald Trump’s campaign for the White House.

That’s mostly because Trump said that Musk would lead a government efficiency commission ahead of being voted back into the seat of power; Musk claimed that it would be called the Department of Government Efficiency—an acronym that matches Dogecoin’s ticker.

Whenever Musk mentioned his future political role with the so-called DOGE ahead of the election, the price of Dogecoin jumped.

But before Trump’s election win, Musk revealed what he has probably thought all along: that he isn’t seriously interested or involved in Bitcoin, Dogecoin, or any cryptocurrency. He just likes the meme coin.

“I’m actually not actively involved in crypto,” he said at a rally. “I make Dogecoin jokes and stuff because I just kind of like Dogecoin—because it’s got the best sense of humor and it has dogs and memes, and I love all those things.”

Still, the price of Dogecoin boomed higher, hitting a three-year high price of $0.48—though it’s fallen substantially since, as of this writing. Musk has recently praised Dogecoin’s rate of inflation and tweeted out a familiar meme image of a dust cloud with the Doge face engulfing a city.

And President-elect Trump made it official that Musk would lead the administration’s new department, though planned co-lead Vivek Ramaswamy bailed in January due to other political ambitions.

Trump even sold t-shirts showing himself and Musk alongside Doge-esque artwork. And the official DOGE website briefly featured the familiar DOGE meme imagery, boosting Dogecoin’s price in the process.

With Trump back in office, Musk’s DOGE started aggressively interrogating U.S. government spending, grabbing headlines as it accesses potentially sensitive citizen data while upending professional norms in the process.

But Musk departed the government role in May, and a public rift has formed between the two men. Musk made some shocking claims about Trump, and the president has in return said that DOGE should scrutinize Musk’s companies—and that he’d look into having Musk deported.

The public battle hasn’t done any favors for Dogecoin’s price, though it has briefly boosted meme coins inspired by the conflict.

Now Elon Musk is back to focusing on his companies, with recent moves reigniting speculation over whether X might integrate Dogecoin or other cryptocurrencies for payments.

And Musk has picked up another connection to Dogecoin of late, albeit unofficially.

Musk’s lawyer, Alex Spiro—who helped defend him in the $258 billion class action DOGE suit dismissed last year—is now chairman of CleanCore Solutions, a publicly traded firm billed as an “official” Dogecoin treasury company. That’s due to backing from House of Doge, the commercialization arm of the Dogecoin Foundation, which supports development around the coin.

Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin Dive as Crypto Liquidations Top $1 Billion

by admin September 28, 2025

In brief

  • Liquidations topped $1.1 billion, most of the them long positions.
  • Bitcoin was down 3.6% over the past 24 hours and nearly 7% for the week.
  • Glassnode said that crypto markets were showing “signs of exhaustion.”

Major digital coins including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin plunged on Thursday, with liquidations over a 24-hour period topping $1 billion.

Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, was recently down by 3.6% over the past 24 hours, trading for under $109,554, crypto data provider CoinGecko shows. BTC is down nearly 7% for the week.

While Ethereum, the second biggest digital coin, dropped  7% to trade at $3,887 Thursday afternoon New York time.

Other major cryptocurrencies were battered harder, with Dogecoin plunging by 7.6%. The original meme coin and eighth-biggest digital asset was trading close to $0.23.

Solana also sank by 7.7% to $197. 52. Both SOL and DOGE are down about 21% over the last week alone, making them the biggest losers among the top 100 coins by market cap.

The drop in crypto prices came with a dip in the stock market, with the S&P 500, tech-heavy Nasdaq, and Dow Jones Industrial Average all shedding value.

CoinGlass data shows that over $1.1 billion in traders’ positions betting on the future prices of cryptocurrencies had been liquidated. The vast majority of that number—over $1 billion—were long positions.

Glassnode analysts said in a Thursday report that the biggest digital coin was now “showing signs of exhaustion” as long-term holders had taken profits and ETF flows had slowed down.

“Unless demand from institutions and holders aligns again, the risk of deeper cooling remains high, highlighting a macro structure that increasingly resembles exhaustion,” Glassnode said, noting that the current up cycle has already lasted 1,030 days, just short of the roughly 1,060-day span of the past two bull markets.

Those placing bets on Myriad, a prediction market owned by Decrypt‘s parent company, DASTAN, are also feeling bearish: 70% of betters expect BTC will drop to $105,000 before it reaches $125,000.

Bitcoin’s all-time high currently stands at $124,128. It broke that record in August.

Juan Leon, senior investment strategist at crypto asset manager Bitwise, told Decrypt in an interview that crypto was “at the mercy of macro right now.” Leon noted the specter of a U.S. government shutdown that could lead to mass layoffs, rising geopolitical tensions, and a toxic mix of sagging job markets and upwardly revised GDP numbers that could make an interest rate cut less likely.

“Bitcoin and other crypto assets were already hovering in uncertain territory over the last couple of weeks, and so investors were already a little skittish trying to figure out what direction the market is going to take going into Q4,” Leon said. “So I think investors are just bracing into safety, and crypto assets are getting sold down as a result.”

Leon added, however, that he did not believe that crypto prices had topped out, highlighting the enactment of the Genius Act and likely passage of additional crypto friendly legislation and growing institutional interest in digital assets.

“This cycle is fundamentally different than past cycles, and we have to adjust to the new reality,” Leon said. “This is the first cycle where we have regulatory clarity that is just starting. And this is the first cycle that is being driven by institutional adoption instead of retail adoption. As we know, institutional adoption is slower and more spaced out than the retail sort of driven euphoria that we’ve seen in the past.”

Analysts now await Friday’s Personal Consumption Expenditures Price Index (PCE), a favored measure of the Federal Reserve, which could determine the U.S. central bank’s next move.

An increase in the PCE could lead to a second consecutive interest rate cut in 2025, which could benefit Bitcoin and other risk assets that traditionally respond well to surges of liquidity in markets.

UPDATE (September 25, 2025, 2:49 p.m. ET): Updates headline, liquidation totals and prices, adds Leon and Glassnode quotes.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Dogecoin Suffer Beatdown, But These Factors Say Get Ready For A Bounce

by admin September 27, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

The crypto market faced a sharp downturn this week, with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Dogecoin (DOGE) experiencing significant sell pressure. Although red candles continue to dominate the charts, a crypto analyst has pointed out key factors suggesting that this unexpected beatdown could be laying the groundwork for a rebound as the final quarter of the year approaches.

Why Bitcoin, Ethereum, And Dogecoin Are Dropping Hard

According to market analyst Ash Crypto, the current market decline is being driven by a series of macroeconomic and technical factors. In an X social media post on Thursday, he explained that the first and most immediate factor behind the pressure is the looming options expiry event. With $23 billion in Bitcoin and Ethereum options set to expire, volatility has intensified.

Ash Crypto stressed that whales, who often steer the market toward the “max pain” price, are now actively pushing Bitcoin near $110,000, ETH closer to $3,700, and DOGE down to $0.23. The analyst highlights that this growing pressure has sparked panic selling among retail investors in the crypto market.

Additionally, the potential threat from the United States government has further rattled the markets. With a 67% probability of occurring by October 1, 2025, Ash Crypto reports that uncertainty has significantly impacted investor sentiment. Historically, government shutdowns have triggered corrections in the equity and crypto markets, and the current environment is showing similar signs.

Source: Chart from Ash Crypto on X

Meanwhile, a surprisingly robust US GDP growth data has created another layer of bearish short-term pressure. According to Ash Crypto, Q2 GDP was revised to 3.8% from the initially expected 3.3%, signaling strong economic resilience. While positive in the long run, the analyst notes that robust economic indicators tend to reduce the likelihood of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve (FED). For risk assets like crypto, this has translated into an immediate selloff as traders reposition in anticipation of tighter monetary conditions.

Why This Dip Could Be Setting The Stage For A Bounce

Amidst the broader market turmoil, another critical factor has contributed to the recent decline in crypto. Ash Crypto notes that retail investors, drawn by the excitement around perpetual DEXs, have piled into high-leverage positions on altcoins, amplifying potential volatility. He stated that at one point, altcoin Open Interest nearly doubled that of Bitcoin. When market sentiment shifted, massive liquidations swept across exchanges, intensifying the sell-off and accelerating the market’s decline.

While disruptive in the short-term, the analyst suggests that this process of unwinding leveraged positions often sets the stage for a significant bounce and more sustainable market rallies. He highlighted that by flushing out overextended positions, whales and institutional players create an environment that favours accumulation.

Ash Crypto further highlighted that this cycle appears to be a deliberate play by whales to trigger panic selling before the fourth-quarter rally. He disclosed that September began on a bullish note, convincing traders that prices would only continue upward, only for sharp corrections to reset the market.

Dogecoin on Verge of Golden Cross, What to Watch Now

by admin September 27, 2025

Dogecoin (DOGE) is close to forming a golden cross, as indicated by its technical chart. The king of meme coins on its three-hour chart shows that a golden cross could form anytime now as the asset rebounded from a low of $0.2223 in the last 24 hours.

Trading volume lags despite Dogecoin price recovery

As per data, the 9-day and 26-day moving averages of Dogecoin show that the golden cross could form around the $0.2389 price level. Notably, a golden cross is considered a bullish signal, and it occurs when a short-term moving average crosses over a longer-term one on the asset’s chart.

Dogecoin 3H Price Chart | Source: TradingView

For DOGE, the event is likely to occur soon, and the meme coin is gradually recovering as it inches closer. A confirmation of the golden cross could see the price surge, particularly if other market metrics align. As of this writing, Dogecoin’s price was changing hands at $0.2301, representing a 2.25% increase in the last 24 hours.

The meme coin had earlier climbed to a peak of $0.2342 before succumbing to market pressure. The trading volume has not supported its upward movement as investors remain cautious despite the recovery signals that DOGE is flashing. Volume remains down by 41.83% at $2.43 billion despite the slight uptick in price.

However, the coin is likely to continue to climb as its Relative Strength Index at 44.47 signals recovery from its oversold conditions already. Dogecoin has a higher likelihood of upward momentum than declining, per the current market outlook.

If trading volume rises and the golden cross formation is confirmed, these could act as a catalyst for a more bullish rally for the meme coin.

Within this period, Bitcoin has also posted a 0.14% increase in price as it shows signs of recovery, too. If the flagship cryptocurrency breaks out, it is likely to also positively impact Dogecoin, as they are coupled.

Investors eye $0.30 as DOGE approaches September close

Market participants will need to keep a close eye on Dogecoin’s volume and broader market developments. Although renowned crypto analyst Ali Martinez had predicted that the meme coin could soar to $0.50 under certain conditions, investors are hoping it could climb to $0.30.

In the last 30 days, the closest Dogecoin price rose to $0.2966 before it slipped downward again. The last time it traded above $0.30 was in January 2025.

Based on historical precedent, Dogecoin has an average growth rate of 12.3% in the month of September. Perhaps, the current golden cross could support the price of the asset to make a final bullish push before the month ends in another 72 hours.

Dogecoin ETF Scores DTCC Website Listing, Only More More Step Before It Starts Trading

by admin September 25, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

A new Dogecoin ETF has reached a significant milestone on its path to launch. The fund, created by 21Shares, has appeared on a key U.S. financial platform that prepares for market trading. The Dogecoin ETF is still awaiting approval, and the final decision rests with U.S. regulators as they continue their review.

21Shares Dogecoin ETF TDOG Appears On DTCC Platform

Swiss asset management company 21Shares has placed its new Dogecoin ETF, trading under the ticker TDOG, on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) platform. By appearing on the DTCC’s “Active and Pre-Launch” list, the Dogecoin ETF is now visible to broker-dealers, who can begin operational checks, such as setting up the ticker and completing clearing procedures.

The listing mirrors what happened in the past with spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, where DTCC listings came before official trading. However, it is essential to note that this listing itself does not mean the SEC has approved the Dogecoin ETF. It is part of the standard process that sets the stage but does not guarantee the outcome.

Seeing TDOG appear on the DTCC website also highlights the rising level of institutional attention around Dogecoin.  Grayscale filed a spot Dogecoin ETF shortly after the SEC delayed 21Shares’ filing. Meanwhile, Rex-Osprey launched a hybrid Dogecoin ETF last week, which saw higher-than-expected trading on its first day.

A listing like this helps confirm that investor demand is strong enough to support such a product; however, the actual launch still depends on the subsequent regulatory step. If approval comes and trading begins, TDOG ETF could increase confidence in Dogecoin as a legitimate asset and expand its role in the cryptocurrency market.

SEC Approval Remains The Final Step Before Trading

Although the Dogecoin ETF now appears on the DTCC platform, it cannot trade without approval from the SEC. The regulator is carefully reviewing the filing from 21Shares to ensure it meets all requirements. Even with the DTCC listing, the ETF’s legal status remains unchanged. The DTCC step is progressing, but trading will only commence once the SEC gives its official approval.

The process at the SEC usually involves public comment periods, agency feedback, and detailed compliance checks. It can take time, and approval timelines are often unpredictable. The SEC has already pushed back its decision once, noting it needed more time to review the fund’s compliance with Nasdaq’s rules.

If the SEC grants approval, the Dogecoin ETF would be listed on U.S. exchanges, providing investors with direct exposure to Dogecoin in a regulated product. The 21Shares Dogecoin ETF (TDOG) is now available on the DTCC platform. For now, the TDOG ETF is still under review. Its future depends entirely on the SEC’s decision, which is the final step before it can trade.

Dogecoin on Verge of Golden Cross Flip, Metrics Soaring

by admin September 24, 2025

Dogecoin (DOGE), the king of meme coins, is on the verge of forming a golden cross even as technical indicators signal a bullish recovery. In the last 24 hours, there has been a halt to the meme coin’s downward slip as it began to show a golden formation.

DOGE trading volume surges as RSI supports recovery

Notably, the 9-day and 26-day moving averages show the golden cross formation around the $0.2454 mark. This technical indicator, which happens when a short-term moving average crosses over a longer-term one, is generally a bullish signal.

DOGE Price Chart | Source: TradingView

Investors backing the meme coin are anticipating a price recovery following this signal showcase in the altcoin. As of press time, Dogecoin has started trading up as the price spiked upward to $0.2488, reflecting a 4.04% increase in the last 24 hours.

DOGE had climbed from a low of $0.2321 in earlier trading sessions, supported by increasing trading volume. Within this time frame, Dogecoin’s volume has registered a significant 10.47% increase to $3.32 billion amid rising optimism.

This came as the meme coin hit oversold conditions, as shown by its Relative Strength Index (RSI). With such a setup, DOGE’s price had nowhere else to go but to reverse its downward path. Additionally, the slight increase in the price of Bitcoin might have contributed to Dogecoin’s recovery.

Dogecoin is likely to continue on its current bullish trajectory, as historical precedent shows that DOGE has an average growth rate of 13%. As per Cryptorank data, while the average growth is positive, the meme coin has posted more negative figures in the month of September.

However, in September 2024, Dogecoin recorded a 12.6% increase. If the asset repeats this performance, Dogecoin could inch closer to the $0.30 target.

Analysts predict Dogecoin could break $0.50 soon

Meanwhile, Timothy Stebbing, Dogecoin Foundation Director, has suggested ways holders could contribute to the utility of the meme coin and drive adoption. He advocated that holders think of how they could spend their DOGE.

Interestingly, Ali Martinez, a renowned crypto analyst, believes that the current price of Dogecoin might be the last discount opportunity for investors before a breakout. Martinez predicted that DOGE could spike above $0.50 if ecosystem bulls support the asset on the market.

Market participants continue to hope that the analyst’s prediction will come to pass so that their investment value can soar.

Crypto Market Prediction: Ethereum (ETH) Loses $4,000, Shiba Inu (SHIB): Hope for $0.00002 Not Lost, Dogecoin (DOGE) Hiding Bullish Card for $0.32

by admin September 24, 2025

Ethereum, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin are all facing pressure after recent pullbacks, but their technical setups suggest different paths forward. Ethereum looks the weakest, struggling near $4,000 with a risk of deeper losses if key supports fail. Shiba Inu is consolidating, showing limited selling pressure and room for recovery if buyers step in. Dogecoin, while also correcting, is holding stronger support levels and could stage a rebound if it regains short-term momentum.

Ethereum slips

Ethereum (ETH) has experienced a significant decline and is endangering the $4,000 mark. Weakness is indicated by the recent break from the symmetrical triangle pattern, as ETH moved sharply lower after failing to maintain its consolidation. Ethereum is currently trading close to $4,185, down more than 5% from the previous session.

Since ETH had been firmly consolidating for weeks and traders were anticipating an increase in volatility, the breakdown is noteworthy. Bulls were disappointed when the breakout turned bearish, confirming resistance at $4,600 and increasing selling pressure.

ETH/USDT Chart by TradingView

A mixed picture is being painted by the moving averages. After breaking through the 50-day moving average, ETH is now depending on the 100-day average, which is at $3,880, as the next important support. If that does not work, the 200-day average at $3,378 will turn into the main target for the downside, which could wipe out a large portion of the summer rally.

The recent red candles also saw a spike in volume, indicating that sellers are currently in charge. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has entered bearish territory after falling below 40. This supports the notion that ETH is overshooting lower, but it might also point to the potential for a short-term relief bounce.

Ethereum runs the risk of plummeting if $4,000 is lost, testing the $3,800 support nearly instantly. Since $4,000 has been regarded as a psychological and technical anchor, failure at this level would result in a significant change in market sentiment.

Ethereum holders are currently facing a crucial time. Restoring confidence would require a bounce above $4,400, but the current momentum points further downward. It has never seemed more likely that ETH will lose $4,000 in recent weeks.

Shiba Inu’s pressure

After briefly breaking below the symmetrical triangle that has been forming since the middle of the year, Shiba Inu is currently trading under pressure near $0.0000122. At first, the move appeared to be the start of a longer downtrend, but current circumstances indicate that there is still hope for a recovery.

Here, the absence of consistent selling pressure is the most crucial element. On-chain data shows no discernible increase in exchange inflows despite the recent decline, indicating that holders are not in a rush to sell their holdings. SHIB has the space to stabilize and possibly push higher in the near future due to the supply side’s relative calm.

SHIB/USDT Chart by TradingView

With the 200-day EMA continuing to serve as a broad support zone around $0.0000100, the daily chart displays SHIB consolidating between major moving averages. A sign that capitulation has not occurred is the recent red candles’ volume, which has not increased significantly. With SHIB regaining the $0.0000130-$0.0000135 range, the bulls may regain momentum.

At about 41, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicates that the market is somewhat oversold. As technical traders seek out reentry opportunities, this might serve as fuel for a brief recovery rally. Restoring general confidence would begin with a recovery into the $0.0000140 zone.

Even though it might seem far off, $0.000020 is still accessible if the market levels off in Q4. When demand increases, SHIB has historically demonstrated the capacity to move swiftly, and the lack of significant exchange selling lends credence to that theory.

In other words, Shiba Inus are still relevant today. There is still room for recovery, as there are no strong selling signals or technical indicators pointing to oversold levels. If buyers pick up steam again, $0.000020 remains a viable target.

Dogecoin’s hidden strength

Dogecoin is currently trading at about $0.23, having experienced a significant decline after testing resistance at around $0.30. A major bullish card on the chart may position DOGE for a subsequent run toward $0.32, despite the decline initially appearing depressing.

DOGE recently dropped straight onto the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which is serving as a critical support level at the moment. The current configuration raises the possibility that DOGE will use the 50 EMA as a launchpad for recoveries, as it has in the past. The larger bullish structure is unaffected as long as this level is maintained.

Trends in volume indicate that the selling pressure has not been particularly strong. Although there are more red candles, the intensity does not indicate a panic, allowing buyers to reenter the market. Furthermore, the market’s willingness to defend important price zones is indicated by DOGE’s higher lows, which show that it has not completely given up its summer gains.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI), which is currently at 45, is getting closer to neutral. This promotes the notion of a recovery bounce and lessens the chance of an overheated market. The path toward resistance at $0.28-$0.30 may open rapidly if DOGE can regain $0.25 in the near future. The price may eventually test $0.32 if there is a breakout from there.

It is important to note Dogecoin’s resilience in comparison to other assets. Its ability to maintain its trend above long-term averages, such as the 200 EMA, in spite of volatility indicates that its value base has not been lost.

Best Meme Coins to Buy as Dogecoin 730% Pump Might Come Soon

One of the biggest reasons why 2025 is being looked at as one of the biggest years for crypto – not only in terms of performance so far but also for what’s coming in the months ahead – is Dogecoin’s rise.

Given Dogecoin’s place and importance in the crypto space, especially in the altcoin sector, it’s only natural that analysts everywhere are diving deep into its analysis, trying to guess where it could head next, and how bold a move it could churn out.

Such a rally wouldn’t just suggest a great buying opportunity in Dogecoin itself, but also perfect timing to position yourself in other low-cap, high-upside meme coins.

Read on as we unpack one of the latest and most talked-about Dogecoin analyses – a price prediction from a crypto analyst who believes Dogecoin could be on its way to a 730% pump – and how you can make the most of it by buying the best meme coins right now.

DOGE Poised for a 730% Pump

We’re talking about Javon Marks – or @JavonTM1 on X – who posts to nearly 60K followers and is an ardent crypto analyst.

His recent Dogecoin analysis suggests the token is now gearing up for a third bullish cycle, as you can see in the image below.

Source: @JavonTM1 on X

Cycle 1 was when Dogecoin first shot to fame in 2017, rising around 12,000% in three years.

Then came Cycle 2 in 2021, when Dogecoin surged nearly 25,000%. Now, the trader believes a third cycle could be on its way.

Since future price predictions venture into uncharted territory, the trader has used Fibonacci extensions to arrive at potential upside targets.

  • He believes that if we see a similar jump in performance as in the past two cycles, Dogecoin could easily 20x from here and hit $5.30.
  • That said, he also offered a more conservative target, suggesting Dogecoin should at least hit $2.28, which still represents a massive 730% gain from current price levels.

With that in mind, this could potentially be one of the best times to stack your crypto portfolio with under-the-radar meme coins that could rise alongside Dogecoin.

Here are our top 3 suggestions.

1. Maxi Doge ($MAXI) – Upcoming Dogecoin-Themed Meme Coin with 1000x Potential

Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is an exciting new meme coin bringing the unfiltered aura of a fiery mascot the crypto world has been waiting for.

To fully understand $MAXI’s potential, you’ll need to know where it comes from. Think of Maxi as Dogecoin’s distant cousin.

Naturally, with Doge being the first mainstream meme coin, he dominated all family gatherings, leaving Maxi lonely, humiliated, and frustrated.

That’s when Maxi Doge decided to hit the gym, chug protein shakes, and craft the perfect revenge plot to return as DOGE’s ultimate nemesis.

Now, $MAXI intends to be the next 1000x crypto. How? The project has set aside a whopping 40% of its total token supply for advertising campaigns, social media marketing, and influencer partnerships.

There will also be exclusive holder-only events, including weekly trading competitions with leaderboard prizes.

The idea is to build a loyal community of $MAXI traders and HODLers who believe in the token’s degen spirit and absurd mission of taking down Dogecoin.

While most presale projects aim for CEX and DEX listings, $MAXI plans to go a step further and secure listings on future platforms as well.

This will allow high-risk, high-reward crypto traders to slam the leverage pedal and have a real shot at making life-changing gains, all thanks to $MAXI.

Currently in presale, Maxi Doge has already raised over $2.41M from early investors, with each token priced at just $0.0002585. Here’s how to buy $MAXI.

According to our Maxi Doge price prediction, the token could hit $0.0024 by year-end – representing a mouth-watering 820% return.

2. PEPENODE ($PEPENODE) – Unique Mine-to-Earn Pepe-Themed Meme Coin

PEPENODE ($PEPENODE) is a unique mine-to-earn cryptocurrency project that lets you build virtual mining rigs and earn rewards in the form of free $PEPENODE (native crypto), $FARTCOIN, and $PEPE tokens.

Normally, crypto mining involves expensive hardware and high electricity costs, which makes it inaccessible to the average participant.

PEPENODE changes that by offering a cost-effective alternative through its gamified virtual mining rigs, complete with real-life-like dashboards featuring parameters like hashrate, energy, and rewards.

Every user starts with an empty server room. From there, you buy ‘nodes,’ which are mining components powered by $PEPENODE. Each node increases your rig’s mining capacity.

You can also sync different nodes to boost capacity. It’s worth noting that various permutations and combinations of nodes deliver different boost levels, giving you room to experiment, buy nodes, and optimize your setup.

The best part? Nodes purchased in the early stages have higher mining capacity. This early participation incentive means you can start with a basic rig and eventually upgrade to a massive mining farm.

Moreover, these nodes can also be upgraded or sold, making the ecosystem far more interactive than most presale projects.

The $PEPENODE presale is just getting started but has already raised over $1.38M. Check out our guide on how to buy PEPENODE for help with the purchase.

Right now, 1 $PEPENODE is available for just $0.001070. According to our PEPENODE price prediction, a $100 investment today could turn into $670 by the end of 2026.

Visit $PEPENODE’s official website to learn more about its first-of-its-kind mine-to-earn system.

3. Boba Cat ($BOBA) – Philanthropy Crypto Project Advocating for Cat Shelters Worldwide

Boba Cat ($BOBA) is inspired by the real-life cat of Dogecoin founder Billy Marcus.

But don’t mistake $BOBA for a simple meme coin built around a pet animal; it’s actually a true philanthropist project that supports pet shelters and highlights blockchain’s role in charity.

For instance, $BOBA has already donated $84K across 8 countries, supporting nearly 16 shelters.

Beyond donations, the project also aims to educate non-profit organizations and agencies about cryptocurrency adoption and blockchain technology, helping to increase transparency and address operational challenges.

$BOBA token holders also get the opportunity to participate in governance decisions, voting on key proposals such as partnerships or platform changes. You can even contribute directly by donating $BOBA tokens.

All things considered, it’s no wonder $BOBA has seen a massive price surge. It has gained 1,332% in the last 7 days and 262% in the past 24 hours. It’s currently trading around $0.05943.

Recap: With Dogecoin primed for a chonky rally in the coming weeks, the stage is set for low-cap, high-upside meme coins like Maxi Doge ($MAXI), PEPENODE ($PEPENODE), and Boba Cat ($BOBA) to emerge as the next big breakout winners.
