Fallout 4K Blu-Ray Deal – Catch Up Before Season 2’s December Premiere

by admin August 20, 2025

Season 1 of Amazon’s Fallout adaptation is up for grabs for $30 on 4K Blu-ray at Amazon. Fallout Season 1 released on 4K and 1080p Blu-ray as well as DVD on July 8. With Amazon’s current deal, the 4K Blu-ray edition is the same price as the 1080p edition.

Now’s not a bad time to catch up or rewatch Season 1, as Amazon has revealed Fallout Season 2 will premiere December 17. Unlike Season 1, which released all of its episodes on the same day, Season 2 will follow a traditional weekly schedule. Episodes will stream on Wednesdays, with the Season 2 finale slated for February 4.

Watch Fallout Season 1

To be clear, the Fallout 4K Blu-ray deal is for the standard edition with a plastic case, not Amazon’s exclusive Steelbook Edition. The collectible 4K Blu-ray edition sold out shortly after preorders opened in April. We saw brief restocks during launch week and in mid-July, but it’s been sold out for about a month now. Amazon has indicated this truly is a limited-edition release, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the Steelbook Edition is gone for good.

$30 (was $40)

Fallout: Season 1 is a three-disc set featuring all eight episodes in 4K resolution (2160p) with HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10). It also supports enhanced audio with Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 7.1 surround sound.

Season 1’s eight episodes clock in at 450 minutes (7.5 hours). After you’re done, you can pop in the special features disc and watch an assortment of behind-the-scenes featurettes. Like many other 4K releases of shows and movies, the bonus content is on a regular Blu-ray disc instead of 4K.

You can check out the full list of special features below:

Fallout: Season 1 Special Features:

  • Animated Content
  • Console to Camera
  • Inside Season 1
  • Prosthetics & Makeup Gone Nuclear
  • Set Your Sets on 2296
  • Welcome to the World of Fallout
  • Becoming The Ghoul
  • Creating the Wasteland
  • Safe and Sound
  • Meet the Filmmaker Jonathan Nolan
  • The Costumes of Fallout
  • Writing for the Wasteland

Season 1 released on Prime Video last April and earned positive reviews from critics and fans, making it one of the few live-action video game adaptations for TV that lived up to its namesake. It’s fairly uncommon for Amazon to release its original shows on Blu-ray, so it’s cool that Fallout is now available to watch without a subscription. The physical editions were manufactured and distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment.

The show follows three characters as they trek across the Wasteland–a Vault dweller heading above ground for the first time, a squire of the Brotherhood of Steel, and a deadly bounty hunter known as The Ghoul.

We’ve rounded up some cool Fallout merch below, in case you want to add some collectibles to your display shelves.

Tubbz Vault Boy Plush Duck

The official Fallout Store on Amazon is loaded with products themed around the Prime Video show and Bethesda’s game series. From backpacks and hoodies to records and figurines, there’s a little bit of everything, including a Vault Boy plush fashioned as a rubber duck, as shown above. You can also get Vault Boy, Vault Girl, Nuka-Cola, and more characters fashioned as vinyl rubber duck figures. Nuka-Girl is on sale for $8.79 (was $20), while the T-51 duck is only five bucks.

Fallout Action Figures

If you like action figures and statues, check out this four-pack of six-inch Fallout figures. You could also grab the premium Fallout Maximus Figure by Dark Horse for $55 (was $70). Standing 10 inches tall, the hand-painted Brotherhood of Steel collectible is a great addition to any home theater or game room.

Fallout Mega Bloks Building Sets

Fallout T-60 Power Armor Mega Bloks Set

Fallout fans who like construction sets should check out the pair of Mega Bloks sets based on the Fallout 4 video game. Both sets released last year and were sold out for months before Amazon restocked them earlier this year. The Amazon-exclusive Mega Fallout T-60 Power Armor Set comes with five micro action figures and buildable rigs (327 pieces) for $32.39. The Mega Fallout: Red Rocket Truck Stop Set is a larger 824-piece playset with multiple figures and game-accurate details. You can pick up this set for $70 (was $86).

Speaking of post-apocalyptic TV series based on video games that have received good reviews, The Last of Us Season 2 releases on 4K Blu-ray on September 23. The Limited Edition Steelbook is still available to preorder, and Amazon has dropped the price from $47 to $35.

Can Tron price surge 60% and revisit December highs?

Can Tron price surge 60% and revisit December highs?

by admin June 17, 2025

Tron price remained consolidated on Tuesday as investors reflected on the new public listing news.

Tron (TRX) was trading at $0.2790, a few points above this week’s low of $0.2670. It has risen by almost 40% from its lowest level this year.

The biggest Tron news is that it will execute a reverse merger with SRM Entertainment, a company that sells branded toys. Dominari Securities, a company with ties to the Trump family, is arranging this merger.

The merger will see SRM accumulate TRX tokens, mimicking the strategy of Strategy, which transformed from a small tech company into the largest Bitcoin (BTC) holder. Strategy’s market capitalization has soared from $1 billion in 2020 to $105 billion today.

The deal comes after the successful Circle IPO, which has pushed its market capitalization to over $33 billion. Other companies in the crypto industry, like Gemini, Galaxy Digital, and Kraken, are also considering going public late this year.

Tron has grown into one of the largest cryptocurrencies, with a market capitalization of over $24 billion. It is also the second most profitable crypto project after Tether.

According to TokenTerminal data, Tron has generated over $3.65 billion in revenue over the past 365 days, with $1.6 billion recorded so far this year. Most of these fees are either burned or distributed to super representatives.

The token-burning mechanism contributes to Tron’s deflationary nature. Its circulating supply has dropped from 96.3 billion in June last year to 94.8 billion today.

Tron price technical analysis

TRX price chart | Source: crypto.news

The daily chart shows that TRX has been in a gradual uptrend in recent months, rising from a February low of $0.20 to $0.2743 today.

The price has moved above the 50-day and 100-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), signaling that bulls remain in control.

Tron has also formed a cup-and-handle pattern, a popular continuation formation, and is currently developing the handle portion. If the pattern holds and TRX breaks above the year-to-date high of $0.2958, a continuation rally toward last year’s high of $0.4497, a roughly 60% upside, becomes increasingly likely.

Total War anniversary event showing off “new games” this December

by admin June 16, 2025

Shogun: Total War is 25 years old this year, and Creative Assembly are holding a multi-month long celebration kicking off in August with livestreams, interviews, sales, and multiplayer tournaments, all culminating with a showcase in early December. This will be the first showcase of its type they’ve done, and it’s billed to feature announcements for “new games” in the strategy series. That’s more than one, as the discerning pluralisation understanders among you have no doubt sagely clocked.

“Whether you’re a fantasy or history fan, there will be plenty to enjoy,” writes CA’s Roger Collum. “Warhammer 40K and Medieval 3!” The crowds bay in frothing anticipation. “Star Wars and World War 1!”, we scream like shrill goats perched on single planks of driftwood floating upon stone-gray oceans, kept from madness only by the knowledge that we can adequately explain what a hammer and anvil maneuver is, in lieu of having formed any meaningful human relationships in a decade.

“Lord Of The Rings and Empire 2!”, reads the scrawled note sellotaped to the goat-rescuing submariner’s periscope lens, resulting in the tragic water deaths of both the goat and then the entire crew somehow. This madness has gone too far. Please, control yourselves.

For what it’s worth: yes, I think at least one of these games is going to be Warhammer 40,000. On to the hefty pile of circumstantial evidence, you can add the seeming absence of Warhammer 3 game director Rich Aldridge from the latest Tides Of Torment showcase. This said, it’s also equally possible Aldridge is hard at work on the massive End Times expansion I’m sure is coming to Twarhammer sooner rather than later. “Tides of Torment DLC will reveal its final playable faction in July,” writes Collum, “and some long-awaited content will be unveiled at the anniversary showcase”. As long as I get Thanquol before the trilogy wraps up, I’m a happy little ratman. Well, Thanquol and Toddy.

Indie Sims-like Paralives launches in early access this December

by admin June 10, 2025

Indie Sims-like Paralives has landed itself an early access release date.

It will be making its debut on 8th December, developer Alex Massé and team revealed last night.

“We are so excited to share the game with you all and can’t wait to collect all your feedback to keep on improving the game,” the Paralives crew shared along with a new trailer (see below). Here, we see some of the game’s building techniques, and its world activities.

Paralives – Release Date Trailer (Early Access). Watch on YouTube

For those unfamiliar with Paralives already, it’s a very promising looking Sims-like. The developer has promised a single player game which does not require an internet connection to enjoy, complete with dogs, cats, horses, cars, bikes and boats. That includes boat houses.

“Even if there will be bugs and some important features missing,” the Paralives team explained last year, in the game’s announcement post. “We think Paralives’ Early Access will be quite enjoyable. Players who like to create characters and build houses will have a lot of tools and content to get creative with and the live mode will have its core features established which will allow people to create great stories for their Parafolks.”

At this same time, the developer added that it will have no paid DLC. “As a small team without any shareholders to please,” it said, “we believe the money we make from selling the game alone will be enough to support us and the development of free updates in the long run.”

Well, colour me interested!

Paralives follows another Sims-like release InZoi, which debuted at the end of March. This particular release broke records for publisher Krafton.

Other games playing with this genre, however, have not fared as well. Last year, Paradox shut down ambitious Sims-like Life by You, before also closing the internal studio behind the project, Paradox Tectonic.

The Sims-like Paralives hits Early Access in December

by admin June 8, 2025

If you aren’t thrilled with what EA has done with The Sims, another alternative is coming soon. The indie passion project Paralives launches in Steam Early Access on December 8.

Paralives has all the hallmarks of the life simulation genre. You can build your character, including physical and personality traits. It lets you make friends, move up in your career, fall in love and start a family (or not!). Design is central, too. You can craft your dream home, move walls and resize that stubby love seat into a full-on couch.

The game uses “innovative build tools that are easy to use but powerful for advanced builders.” When designing your living space, you aren’t limited to a grid. You can build on curves and customize any object’s colors and textures. There’s even an in-game measuring tape for those who want to get ultra-precise.

Paralives Studio

The game is the lovechild of Canadian developer Alex Massé, who began the project in 2019. Paralives Studio has now grown to a team of 13 with the sole focus of building “an innovative and fresh life simulation game.” It’s raised funds exclusively through Patreon. The team’s development process is out in the open. You can browse its history and roadmap online, showing the full array of planned features.

Crucially, the young studio says Paralives will never have paid DLC — only free expansions. That’s one way to take a shot at The Sims without even mentioning its name. And unlike the glitzy AI-fest inZoi, Paralives emphasizes depth and flexibility over presentation. Its simple and charming art style is a foundation for feeling and connection.

You can see for yourself in the release date trailer below. Grab Paralives on Steam Early Access (PC and Mac) on December 8.
