NFT sales jump to $109.8m, CryptoPunks recover 136%

The NFT (non-fungible token) market has continued its recovery with sales volume rising by 4.09% to $109.8 million.

This is the second consecutive week of growth following several weeks of sales drops.

According to data from CryptoSlam, market participation has rebounded with NFT buyers increasing by 53.35% to 277,059, and NFT sellers rising by 67.19% to 206,669. However, NFT transactions have declined by 6.65% to 1,630,579.

This is happening at a time when Bitcoin (BTC) has recovered to the $115,000 level. At the same time, Ethereum (ETH) has surged to the $4,400 level.

The global crypto market cap is now $4.04 trillion, up from last week’s market cap of $3.81 trillion.

Ethereum reclaims dominant position

Ethereum has reclaimed its dominant position with $46.4 million in sales. This is a 42% surge from the previous week. Ethereum’s wash trading has also jumped by 154.37% to $9.2 million.

Mythos Chain has maintained second place with $12.2 million, declining 16.29%. Bitcoin has climbed to third position with $10.2 million, rising 8.44%.

Immutable (IMX) holds fourth place with $8.5 million, falling 0.10%. BNB Chain (BNB) sits in fifth with $8.4 million, declining 18.33%.

Solana (SOL) has risen to sixth with $7.5 million, up 41.01%. Polygon (POL) has dropped to seventh place with $5.6 million, falling 59.09%.

The buyer count has increased across most blockchains, with Immutable leading at 146% growth. This is followed by Mythos Chain at 135.35% and Polygon at 122%.

DMarket has retained the top spot in collection rankings with $7.1 million in sales, though declining 23.16%. The gaming marketplace has seen decreases across all metrics, including transactions (21.24%) and buyers (27.62%).

CryptoPunks sales jump 136%

CryptoPunks has surged to second place with $7 million, jumping by 136.83%. The collection has more than doubled its transactions (146.15%) and buyers (100%), while sellers grew by 136.36%.

Guild of Guardians Heroes holds third position with $4.8 million, posting minimal growth of 1.20%. Courtyard on Polygon has fallen to fourth place with $4.7 million, plummeting 62.86%.

Moonbirds sits in fifth with $4.6 million, surging 141.12%. The collection has seen growth in transactions (148.99%) and buyers (93.48%).

Bored Ape Yacht Club has entered the top six with $4.4 million, rising 78.76%. The Yuga Labs collection has more than doubled its transactions (108.33%) and nearly doubled its buyers (93.33%).

Notable high-value sales from this week include:

  • BOOGLE sold for 1,380 SOL ($324,846)
  • CryptoPunks #8521 sold for 55.48 ETH ($255,288)
  • CryptoPunks #4420 sold for 56.388 ETH ($254,250)
  • CryptoPunks #2642 sold for 52.1 ETH ($239,735)
  • CryptoPunks #1180 sold for 49.89 ETH ($232,394)

The non-fungible token (NFT) market has experienced another sharp drop, with sales volume falling by 22.65% to $104.5 million. This is one of the steepest weekly drops in recent months, despite a modest crypto market recovery.

The NFT market has experienced another sharp drop, with sales volume falling by 22.65% to $104.5 million. This is one of the steepest weekly drops in recent months, despite a modest crypto market recovery.

According to data from CryptoSlam, market participation continues to surge with NFT buyers rising by 14.89% to 622,535, and NFT sellers increasing by 16.25% to 447,821. However, NFT transactions have declined by 3.07% to 1,699,318.

This is happening at a time when Bitcoin (BTC) price has recovered to the $110,000 level. At the same time, Ethereum (ETH) has maintained the $4,300 level.

The global crypto market cap is now $3.81 trillion, up from last week’s market cap of $3.75 trillion.

Ethereum maintains lead in sales

Ethereum has maintained its leading position with $37.7 million in sales, falling 29.88% from the previous week. Ethereum’s wash trading has plummeted by 68.03% to $6.4 million.

Polygon (POL) has held second place with $15.7 million, declining 17.43%. Mythos Chain sits in third with $10.1 million, down 1.73%.

BNB Chain (BNB) occupies fourth position with $9.5 million, falling 23.59%. Bitcoin rounds out the top five with $7.8 million, declining 32.40%. Solana (SOL) holds sixth place with $5.1 million, down 6.81%.

The buyer count has increased across all major blockchains, with Polygon leading at 38.34% growth, followed by BNB Chain at 23.11% and Ethereum at 21%.

Courtyard on Polygon has retained the top spot in collection rankings with $14.6 million in sales, declining 17.41%. The collection has seen massive growth in sellers (333.68%) while buyers fell by 18.39%.

CryptoPunks post modest growth

CryptoPunks has maintained second place with $8 million, posting modest growth of 4.73%. This is one of the few collections showing positive performance amid the broader market drop.

DMarket holds the third position with $4.8 million, down 4.81%. DKTNFT on BNB Chain sits in fourth with $3.9 million, up 7.84%.

Panini America has entered the top five with $3.1 million, surging 46.16%. The sports card collection has benefited from growing interest in digital trading cards.

Guild of Guardians Heroes completes the top six with $2.8 million, declining 27.50%. The gaming collection has seen decreases across all metrics.

The NFT market has experienced a sharp correction with sales volume dropping by 25.78% to $134 million. This reversal follows the previous week’s recovery.

As per CryptoSlam data, despite the sales decline, market participation has continued to expand. NFT buyers have grown by 25.74% to 450,096, and NFT sellers have risen by 25.91% to 321,107. NFT transactions have increased by 6.26% to 1,652,284.

The market situation is also volatile as the Bitcoin (BTC) price has dropped to the $115,000 level. At the same time, Ethereum (ETH) has risen to $4,700. The global crypto market cap is now $3.98 trillion, up from last week’s market cap.

Ethereum maintains lead in sales

Ethereum has maintained its leading position with $60.7 million in sales, though declining 41.63% from the previous week. Ethereum’s wash trading has fallen by 55.47% to $13.5 million.

BNB (BNB) Chain has held second place with $20.6 million, rising 10.63%. Polygon (POL) has climbed back to third position with $16.1 million, surging 37.86%.

Mythos Chain remains in fourth with $9.7 million, up 3.17%. Solana (SOL) sits in fifth with $7.5 million and dropped 13.63%.

Immutable (IMX) holds sixth place with $7.2 million, down 10.70%. Cardano (ADA) has entered the top seven with $3.1 million, jumping 48.96%.

NFT buyer count jumps

The buyer count has increased across most blockchains, with Cardano leading at 91.41% growth, followed by BNB Chain at 84.48% and Immutable at 72.18%.

Courtyard on Polygon has reclaimed the top spot in collection rankings with $14.7 million in sales, surging 41.01%. The collection has seen growth in buyers (186.96%) and transactions (45.28%).

SpinNFTBox on BNB Chain holds second place with $10.9 million, rising 39.83%. The collection continues to be dominated by a single seller despite having 1,424 buyers.

CryptoPunks has fallen to third place with $8.7 million, plunging 59.28%. The collection has seen decreases across all metrics, including transactions (56.98%), buyers (52.78%), and sellers (30.23%).

Moonbirds sits in fourth with $7.4 million, up 29.94%. DMarket holds fifth place with $4.6 million, rising 8.70%. Guild of Guardians Heroes rounds out the top six with $4.2 million, growing 18.72%.
