Critically acclaimed series A Plague Tale is getting a prequel in 2026, titled Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. Set 15 years before the events of the two Plague Tale games, players will follow Sophia in a much more action-oriented adventure.

Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand-new take on the universe created by Asobo Studio, pushing the franchise’s ambition even further. This announcement confirms the renewal of the partnership between Focus Entertainment Publishing and Asobo Studio, whose collaboration dates back to the birth of the multiple award-winning series.
