3 Essential Tips For Complex Construction Projects

by admin June 17, 2025

RoadCraft isn’t the type of game you just pick up on a whim. It’s a hardcore simulator with realistic physics and mud mechanics, terrain and elevation considerations, and vehicles that maneuver like a tank from World War I in the French countryside. But hey, we’re all new to the genre at one point or another, and to ensure your vehicle doesn’t lock up mid-delivery, I’ve gathered a few tips from my playtime for RoadCraft. Enjoy!

A Hot-Fix Is On The Way For MindsEye’s Frustrating CPR Mini-Game

Take full advantage of AWD and other tools

Immediately upon beginning your journey in RoadCraft, you’re gifted a series of vehicles, including your pickup truck, which is a versatile scout vehicle capable of not only getting you from point A to point B but also hauling in a pinch. It’s a tool ready to be used, and one that you shouldn’t ignore.

It’s equipped with All Wheel Drive (AWD), allowing you to traverse the muddy landscapes with relative ease. Unlike in previous titles, such as Snowrunner, AWD in RoadCraft doesn’t come with a cost. It’s completely free, and as such, you should have it active at all times to help you navigate!

Optimize your routes (or just cancel them)

During the game’s prologue sequence, you’re taught to set a route to deliver goods and materials from your warehouse to the factory to build a flood wall. It sounds simple on paper, but reality is far from it. While it’s not overly hard to place the route itself, as you can plop down points, remove unwanted milestones, and follow the world’s roads and natural paths for easier navigation, it’s the AI that poses a problem.

To put it lightly, they’re dumb as the dirt you’re hauling. The AI, despite working for a company of this scale and complexity, tends to drive straight into ditches, trees, fences, gates, buildings, lakes, and other obstacles. If the truck becomes stuck, it ruins the entire route. Do yourself a favor and, at least for the first run, keep an eye on your vehicles as they follow the route. Examine where they slow, where they become stuck, etc. Then, fix it!

Don’t overlook the excess scrap

As you complete objectives, you’ll note leftover materials lying around the game world. These come in various forms, such as containers, scrap heaps, and raw, individual materials. While it’s cumbersome to use the crane to load a truck, you don’t want to leave all of that scrap behind. It’s worthwhile!

RoadCraft heavily relies on construction projects to push the story forward, from bridges and roads to more complex tasks. All of these projects require raw materials, and if you’d like to save some money and time, use what the world provides you!

RoadCraft is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PCs.

‘Dominate the Waifu Industrial Complex’: There’s a new 3v3 movement shooter called Waifu Tactical Force because of course there is

WTF: Waifu Tactical Force Reveal Trailer – Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2025 – YouTube

Watch On

WTF: Waifu Tactical Force, a real game that was shown at the Future Games Show today, is a movement shooter where each win lets you earn the things you need to unlock new characters (as in, waifus) and upgrade your “waifu-run Mother Base” for new perks to use on missions and in 3v3 shooter matches.

“Each system feeds the next: shoot to build, build to upgrade, upgrade to dominate. Wrapped in a visual novel framework, it’s a genre hybrid where management, skill, and waifus drive everything,” says the developer, which is called Team Waifu, in case you haven’t figured out who this game is for yet.

WTF is set to release in 2026, and has started an alpha playtest now. It’s aiming for “AAA net code with regional dedicated servers and optimization for 60 fps on low-spec devices,” which for a lot of people might be a better selling point than the cute anime ladies and focus on Y2K aesthetics.

While clearly inspired by the popularity of character-collecting free-to-play games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves, the studio has established its own look and is working in a genre less touched by cute anime girl driven videogaming. It’s clear they’re passionate about the material, since their other game is literally just called Waifu.

The 3v3, five round FPS elimination matches with a fast time-to-kill are especially interesting, given that they’re paired with a loadout perk tweak between rounds and you unlock those perks via a Fallout Shelter-style base management game.

You can find WTF: Waifu Tactical Force on Steam, though I think I will find my way to any game that does not ask me to “dominate the Waifu Industrial Complex.”

Military Incremental Complex is freeware classic Dope Wars for arms dealing

by admin May 22, 2025

Oh, Dope Wars ’98, let me count the ways you moulded me into the man I am today, buying extra large trench coats in which to store my 100 units of acid. Military Incremental Complex riffs off that game’s unmistakably ’98 interface, but instead of playing a cool and aspirational heroin entrepreneur, you play a dastardly bullet merchant. Begin crafting artisan handmade farm-fresh shotgun shells, work your way up to nukes. Typical woke renewable energy propaganda. Can’t even sell massive bundles of dynamite with ‘TNT’ written on them anymore in case it offends the coyotes.

You’ll “produce multiple different weapons, research upgrades, manipulate the stock market, and lobby the government for favours”. It’s from Space Kraken, makers of Squeebing Up The Tower Of Friendship, a game I have not played but enjoy saying the name of aloud. Squeebing. Squeeeebing. “6 hours in the demo and another hour in the released game, I still have no idea what squeebing is,” reads one review. UrbanDictionary defines ‘squeebing’ as … actually, I’m not repeating what UrbanDictionary defines squeebing as. Here’s a trailer with wholesome god-fearing guns in it instead.

Watch on YouTube

Demo? Yes, here. Features? You bet your squeeb there are.

  • Hand Crafted: 11 different weapons to produce, each with their own unique way of being made
  • Automate Production: Expand your means of production, automating and speeding up the process, so you can focus on other things to make your company grow
  • Research New Weapons and Upgrades: 100+ upgrades to research, including new products to produce, better methods of making them, helpful UI additions, ways of increasing your prices, and much more
  • Global Supply Chain: Set up 18 types of mining operations around the world to extract base ores, buy factories to refine those ores into useful materials, and own your entire supply chain
  • Capital Gains: Buy shares of 7 different companies on the stock market, unlocking powerful bonuses once you own certain threshold amounts
  • Get Political: Lobby politicians and spend favors to radically upgrade your other systems
  • Do It All Over Again: Earn enough profit and you can prestige to unlock 16 game-changing abilities that allow for a variety of different builds for each new run
  • Overall, make ridiculous amounts of money as you flood the world with more and more weapons

This one’s out ‘Q3 2025’ if you end up liking the demo. I learnt today that I’ve been calling ‘incremental’ games ‘factory sim-likes’ and I’m not sure which one is more awkward. Number go up em’ ups it is.
