Jubilation, chaos, and a lot of screaming: inside a Hollow Knight community Discord as the Silksong release date finally hit

by admin August 21, 2025

30-minutes until the live reveal of the latest Hollow Knight: Silksong trailer, the Hollow Knight: Silksong Daily News Discord server is packed. Almost a hundred people are sitting in a single voice channel, chatting away, cracking jokes. In less than an hour, they’ll blow out my earphones.

Prior to the release date trailer, the regular gags are thrown out perhaps for the final time. The game will be announcing a delay, one person meekly chirps. Another boisterous and proud, declares that Team Cherry had tweeted something, lying as easily as he breathed.

“Why are there so many people on this call?” one user asks. “How many are in the official Silksong Discord?” unaware that the official Hollow Knight Discord had locked its voice channels, making Silksong Daily News the go-to spot for live reactions.

You can watch the release date trailer for Hollow Knight: Silksong here!Watch on YouTube

In the few minutes leading to the reveal, shock reactions at 160,000, then 200,000 people flocking to the YouTube trailer stream flow constant and jubilant through the voices of eager fans. Discord user Kelton closes down the Itch.io Silksong fan game, and settles in to watch. Everyone quickly mutes themselves as the YouTube timer nears zero, others are told to shut up.

The timer hits zero, only for another three minute timer to appear. Everyone unmutes again. Some claps, an “oh my god”, scattered laughter. Someone notices that 260,000 people are now watching live, and renewed cries for muted mics are made by leaders of the pack. Discord user Schmalamph states: “after so many years it’s finally time”, before shifting up with a “Silksong 2034” gag to the chat’s amusement.

Then, the trailer starts, and it’s beautiful. Gasps and meek cheers pop out between cuts. The map is shown and people start to get riled up, “holy shits” get thrown out as Hornet flips around platforms and enemies alike. The volume rises steadily with each new line in the trailer, over 200 enemies, over 40 bosses. At this point, I should have turned the volume down.

Then, the trailer fades to black, and September 4 creeps into frame. Everyone unmutes at once and screams. They cheer and yell and one guy does what sounds like a war cry. Some European fella starts singing September by Earth, Wind, & Fire. Then, very few leave. They stick around and celebrate while pouring through the trailer frame-by-frame. As the dissection of every detail, every nugget of information continues, I take my leave with sore eardrums.

This experience, hanging out in a Hollow Knight: Silksong Discord and listening in to the jokes, the joy, and the post-trailer merriment is to me what video game fandom is all about. It’s hearing people who have been starved of information for years finally learn that not only is the wait almost over, it’s over in two weeks. It’s knowing that some stranger across the world now has to phone their boss and try to get time off work for a video game, and knowing you’re tempted to do the same.

So here’s to the Hollow Knight fans, whose wait is almost over. All that’s left is to hope the game isn’t bad. God, could you imagine?

XYZVerse community rallies as presale crosses $15m

by admin August 19, 2025

Disclosure: This article does not represent investment advice. The content and materials featured on this page are for educational purposes only.

Solana shows signs of a September surge, and the XYZVerse community is positioning itself to ride the wave.

Summary

  • Solana may push toward $228 if it clears $210, with analysts eyeing $325 by 2025.
  • XYZVerse has raised over $15m in its presale, with token price climbing toward $0.0054.
  • With major listings, token burns, and a massive airdrop, XYZVerse aims to follow in the footsteps of DOGE and SHIB.

Solana’s performance has caught wide attention, hinting at a possible major rally in September. Fresh data points to strong upward signals, setting the stage for moves not seen so far in this cycle. This upside could create favorable conditions for memecoins. The XYZVerse (XYZ) community is ready to seize new opportunities.

Solana forecast

Source: TradingView

SOL trades between 173.21 and 209.43, slipping 0.67% in the last week but still up 2.28% over the month and 7.20% in six months. The 10-day average sits at 181.57, a touch under the longer 100-day mark at 189.82, hinting at cooling demand. Momentum scores are low, showing traders remain cautious after a fast rise earlier this year.

Support rests near 155.26, then 119.04 if sellers press harder. On the upside, 227.70 is the first ceiling to beat; above that, 263.92 comes into view. A push from today’s band to the first ceiling would mean a jump of roughly 15%. Dropping to the nearest floor would cut the price about 15%.

With soft momentum and price stuck below the longer average, SOL may drift sideways or dip toward 160 before buyers return. A clean break above 210 would flip the tone and open a run toward 228, sealing an 11-15% gain.

Short term leans neutral-bearish; medium term stays mildly bullish as long as 155 holds. However, long-term Solana price predictions remain optimistic, with analysts targeting $325 by end-2025 and potentially over $1,000 by 2030 as the ecosystem expands.

XYZ memecoin poised for major CEX listing

XYZVerse (XYZ) is a memecoin aiming for a significant price surge from $0.0001 to $0.1 during its presale. It has already achieved half of its fundraising goal, accumulating over $15 million, with the XYZ token currently priced at $0.0053. The token value is set to increase to $0.0054 in the next presale stage, offering early investors a greater discount. After the presale, XYZ will be listed on major centralized and decentralized exchanges.

Can XYZ become the next DOGE?

XYZVerse is forming a movement for those who crave significant profits in the crypto world. It’s for the relentless, the ambitious, and those driven to dominate. This coin embodies the spirit of true fighters, a mindset shared by athletes and sports enthusiasts alike.

At the heart of the XYZVerse narrative is XYZepe, a formidable contender in the memecoin arena. XYZepe is on a mission to ascend the charts and claim a top spot on CoinMarketCap. The question remains: will it follow in the footsteps of DOGE or SHIB and become the next viral sensation? Only time will tell.

A community-driven ecosystem

XYZVerse is a truly community-driven project, where active participation is highly rewarded. A substantial 10% of the total token supply, approximately 10 billion XYZ, has been allocated for airdrops, marking one of the largest airdrop initiatives ever recorded.

With robust tokenomics, strategic listings on both centralized (CEX) and decentralized exchanges (DEX), and consistent token burns, XYZ is engineered for sustained growth. Each strategic decision aims to enhance momentum, drive price appreciation, and cultivate a dedicated community that recognizes the potential for a groundbreaking future.

Conclusion

SOL looks good for a September surge. In parallel, the first all-sports memecoin XYZVerse aims to beat ATH records with a 1000x target, sports community drive, GameFi rollout, and media partners.

Ethereum Community Buzzed with Trustless Agents (ERC-8004) Discussion

by admin August 19, 2025

The Ethereum community is currently abuzz with the emergence and discussions around a new standard ERC-8004, dubbed Trustless Agents. This newly unveiled development promises to revolutionize the interaction of autonomous AI agents in a trustless environment like Ethereum Network.

Introduced by Davide Crapis, the Trustless Agents standard builds on the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol and has sparked a flurry of discussions within Ethereum developers, researchers, and blockchain enthusiasts weighing in on its potential to shape a decentralized AI economy.

“This standard extends the Agent‑to‑Agent (A2A) protocol with a trust layer that allows participants to discover, choose, and interact with agents across organizational boundaries without pre‑existing trust,” Crapis stated in a latest Ethereum Magicians post,” adding, “It introduces three lightweight, on‑chain registries—Identity, Reputation, and Validation—and leaves application‑specific logic to off‑chain components.”

Crapis said that while this proposed ERC goes for public discussion, his team will work closely with the Linux Foundation and A2A ecosystem stakeholders to make it efficient and improve its specifications.

The proposal positions Ethereum as a critical substrate for AI, not for running models directly but for providing a secure, tamper-proof ledger that no single corporation or government can alter. This vision contrasts sharply with reliance on centralized platforms like Google APIs or proprietary databases, a concern amplified by growing distrust in corporate data control.

What Exactly are ERC-8004 and Trustless Agents

From the technical perspective, ERC-8004 is currently a proposed smart-contract standard on Ethereum. It can simply be understood with the approach of NFT smart contracts, which follows ERC-721 Ethereum standard. For simple tokens, ERC-20 is the most commonly used standard.

The proposed ERC-8004 standard extends the A2A protocol—an open infrastructure developed by Google in collaboration with 50+ partners—by introducing a trust layer that enables AI agents to discover, choose, and interact across organizational boundaries.

It leverages three lightweight on-chain registries: Identity, Reputation, and Validation. These registries provide a verifiable anchor for agent identity, an immutable record of behavior, and proofs of action, respectively, while leaving application-specific logic to off-chain components.

Scope for the Trustless Agents

Explaining the importance of Trustless Agents, an anonymous member of the Ethereum Foundation, Binji stated that ERC-8004 could serve as the backbone of a “machine economy,” where millions of autonomous agents operate. They can transact, negotiate, and form coalitions—potentially even decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

ethereum is SERIOUSLY gearing up for ai. (erc-8004) by @DavideCrapis just dropped, it’s called “trustless agents” and here’s what you need to know:

but first:

you can think of ethereum as an important substrate for ai, not necessarily because it can run all the models, but… pic.twitter.com/cxP8OR1CTB

— binji (@binji_x) August 18, 2025

“This is a practical ERC that can be used and iterated on in the wild; the specifics can stay offchain, but the skeleton of trust lives on ethereum,” Binji wrote.

While the demand for AI infrastructure is rising, Trustless Agents could gain significant traction. It sits on the intersection of both the emerging sectors—decentralized technologies and artificial intelligence—which are rising trends across a number of innovations.

The Road Ahead

As ERC-8004 undergoes public discussion, developers are working closely with the Linux Foundation—which is hosting the A2A protocol—and A2A team to refine the specification. With Ethereum Layer 2 solutions addressing scalability hurdles, the standard could lay the foundation for a sci-fi future where AI agents operate autonomously on a decentralized trust layer.

If passed for implementation, ERC-8004 could reshape Ethereum’s role as a decentralized infrastructure provider. For now, the Ethereum community remains cautiously optimistic, with many viewing ERC-8004 as a critical step toward a decentralized AI economy.

Stay Ahead with Our Immediate Analysis of Today’s Dogecoin Updates

Check out our Live Dogecoin Updates for August 18, 2025!

In 2025, Dogecoin stands shoulder-to-shoulder next to Bitcoin. One is the first cryptocurrency, while our doggo friend is widely recognized as the first meme coin.

Launched in 2013, $DOGE is up by over 39,000% today, looking at a price of over $0.22 and a trading volume in the billions of dollars. If anything, Dogecoin proves that ‘anything is possible’ in crypto, and even underdogs can become industry giants.

With endorsements from industry moguls like Elon Musk and official investment vehicles like the Grayscale Dogecoin Trust, $DOGE seems to be going nowhere but up.

Click to learn more about Maxi Doge

Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is Dogecoin’s bodybuilder cousin chugging Red Bull and scalping cryptos at 3AM in the morning.

Embodying full-send chaos and pump potential 2.0, $MAXI is for degen traders who don’t hesitate and keep diamond hands on some of the riskiest plays.

While meme coins are a dime a dozen, Maxi Doge is max-commitment, max cojones, and aiming for legend status in the memecoin land.

Simply put, if rat poison squared took form, it would probably look like Maxi Doge. And this meme coin is still in presale.

If you’re looking for the newest insights on Dogecoin and doge-related projects and meme coins, you’re in the right place.

We update this page frequently throughout the day, as we get the latest and greatest insider insights for Doge lovers and memecoin enthusiasts, so keep refreshing!

Today’s Dogecoin Technical Analysis 📊

Dogecoin has dropped over 9% in just the past few hours, sparking panic among meme coin enthusiasts.

On the brighter side, though, the token is now approaching a key support zone – the same level that fueled a 16% rally in early August and has previously acted as both strong support and resistance.

On the 4-hour chart, Dogecoin’s price is trading comfortably below the short-term moving averages (10, 20, 50, and 100 EMA), leaving only the 200 and 400 EMAs as meaningful layers of support as far as technical indicators are concerned.

So, if Dogecoin breaks below these zones, it could trigger a deeper correction, possibly toward $0.18864. This would result in another 14% drop from current levels.

However, on the daily chart, Dogecoin has yet to even test its 50 EMA. This suggests that while short-term price drops are to be expected, the longer-term outlook remains bullish. That said, a clear continuation signal will still be needed to confirm the trend.

Dogecoin Under Fire: Maxi Doge is Built to Withstand

August 18, 2025 • 10:00 UTC

Dogecoin slipped over 4% today as the Qubic community voted to target it with a 51% attack like the one it launched on Monero, which caused a sharp decline in its price.

The threat has sparked panic among $DOGE holders, with Santiment’s NPL data showing the largest loss since July 2022, and Coinglass’s long-to-short ratio hitting 0.79, signaling potential for further price decline.

With $DOGE under attack, traders are rotating to new meme coins on presale like Maxi Doge.

Unlike Dogecoin, Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is not a proof-of-work coin, making it immune to Qubic’s mining-based 51% attacks. It also lacks minting or blacklist functions that could be exploited by attackers. What’s more, its smart contract’s been audited with zero critical vulnerabilities found.

As dogens look to camp out while Qubic eyes its next mark, find out how to move your funds into Maxi Doge.

Why Maxi Doge Is Eating Dogecoin’s Lunch

August 18, 2025 • 10:00 UTC

The old alpha $DOGE appears to be skulking back as tokens that solve real problems take the lion’s share.

Trading near $0.22, Dogecoin’s price action remains highly reactive; driven more by sentiment than substance, showing sharp rallies often followed by steep drops.

With no clear roadmap, limited utility, and hype cycles that fizzle fast, $DOGE’s role as a portfolio staple may be fading.

Traders are increasingly looking for tokens with stronger fundamentals, tokens like Maxi Doge ($MAXI): the meme coin built for this new cycle.

Maxi Doge embodies extreme degen culture, featuring a muscular, caffeine-fueled Shiba Inu with a no pain, no gain attitude to life and trading.

While $DOGE struggles to maintain relevance, Maxi Doge is flexing rapid gains through high-intensity presale sessions.

Offering zero-tax trading, dynamic staking rewards, and a community jacked, juiced, and pumped for breakout momentum, $MAXI is where smart degen money is moving now.

New Solana Consensus ‘Alpenglow’ Enters Community Vote

by admin August 18, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Solana core developers have pushed a sweeping consensus overhaul, “Alpenglow” (SIMD-0326), into the ecosystem’s formal governance track, setting up a validator vote that, if approved, would replace TowerBFT and re-architect finality and validator incentives on mainnet-beta. The proposal’s authors—Quentin Kniep, Kobi Sliwinski, and Roger Wattenhofer—describe Alpenglow as “a major overhaul of Solana’s core consensus protocol,” designed to supplant “the existing Proof-of-History and TowerBFT mechanisms” with a design that targets block finalization “as low as 100–150 milliseconds.”

Voting Process For Solana ‘Alpenglow’ Starts

The governance post lays out a three-phase timeline: discussion through epochs 833–838, stake-weight capture in epoch 839, and a binding vote across epochs 840–842 using claimable vote tokens sent to “Yes,” “No,” or “Abstain” accounts. Passage hinges on a supermajority threshold: Yes must be at least two-thirds of Yes+No, with a 33% quorum that counts abstentions. As of today, Solana is in epoch 834, making the discussion window active and the vote window scheduled several epochs out.

At the heart of Alpenglow is Votor, a direct-vote, leader-pipelined finality protocol that shifts Solana away from on-chain vote transactions and heavy gossip toward off-chain vote exchange with local signature aggregation. Validators vote to notarize or skip blocks; leaders aggregate those votes eight slots later and submit compact proofs. The authors argue this design cuts latency dramatically and reduces bandwidth, while a “20+20” liveliness model aims to tolerate up to 20% adversarial and 20% unresponsive validators without halting progress. “Alpenglow… enables much lower latency, improved fault tolerance, and generally greater protocol efficiency,” the post asserts.

The upgrade also rewires validator economics. Because voting moves off-chain, the SIMD introduces a Validator Admission Ticket (VAT), a fixed per-epoch fee “initially set to 1.6 SOL per epoch,” burned to maintain an economic barrier roughly comparable to today’s on-chain vote-fee regime. Validators are “required to cast exactly one valid vote per slot”; conflicting votes are detectable, and persistent non-participation renders a validator ineligible for rewards and at risk of removal from the active set.

Leaders receive compensation equal to the per-slot vote rewards of the votes they aggregate, plus a flat bonus when they include fast-finalization/finalization certificates. In a follow-up thread post, Wattenhofer explains the 1.6 SOL figure as approximately 80% of current vote costs to ensure no operator is worse off at the “AlpenSwitch.”

If adopted, Alpenglow would make a visible semantic change at the client layer: the authors note that optimistic confirmation would be superseded by actual finality at sub-second timescales. The stated aim is to bring confirmation latencies in line with Web2 user expectations while tightening safety guarantees that were harder to formalize under TowerBFT. The proposal’s documentation points readers to a 50+ page white paper and independent analyses, but emphasizes that the initial rollout focuses on finalization and voting; a new data dissemination protocol, Rotor, would follow in a separate SIMD.

Governance mechanics for the vote mirror Solana’s prior advisory processes but with higher stakes. Vote tokens will be claimable via an adapted Merkle distributor; validators then send those tokens to the designated choice accounts during the epoch-bounded window. The foundation’s governance post states, “If the sum of Yes votes is equal to or greater than 2/3 of the total sum of Yes + No votes, the proposal will pass,” and “Abstain” contributes to quorum but not to the supermajority tally. Stake weights and a public tally script will be published for independent verification.

Community feedback has quickly homed in on operational risk and rollout discipline. One validator-oriented response urges the SIMD authors to embed “a testing, deployment and fallback plan” before a mainnet decision, likening the scope of change to other industry-scale protocol transitions. Others probe specifics around the VAT level, transaction expiry in a post-PoH world, leader equivocation handling, and effects on MEV auctions and client UX when slices of a block are ignored under certain failure modes. These threads underscore that while the performance headline—150 ms finality—is eye-catching, the vote will likely hinge on the comfort level with safety proofs, incentive edge-cases, and the migration path.

At press time, SOL traded at $181.89.
