‘GoldenEye’ is Coming Back to Theaters Next Week

by admin September 29, 2025

We’re not getting a new James Bond movie for a while, but at least we can see an old one in theaters pretty soon. On Friday, October 3, GoldenEye will play in select theaters worldwide, and exclusively at Alama Drafthouse for U.S. audiences.

The re-release serves two purposes: first, October 5 is James Bond Day—Dr. No, the first film in the series premiered on that day in 1962—and GoldenEye itself will turn 30 years old in November. (Beyond the deisgnated holiday, its October date may also be due to November having a stacked movie calendar.) The 1995 film was several firsts for the franchise: it’s Pierce Brosnan’s first Bond movie, the debut of Judi Dench as M, and the first entry to use CGI and not borrow story elements from Ian Fleming’s novels.

To celebrate James Bond Day, GOLDENEYE returns to the big screen worldwide from Friday 3 October in 4K, marking thirty years since the film’s release. More information and tickets on https://t.co/1JH3zpzGuv. pic.twitter.com/TeXW7MccS5

— James Bond (@007) September 25, 2025

GoldenEye got a strong reception at release and made $356.4 million, surpassing the 1980s James Bond films and becoming the fourth highest-grossing movie of 1995. It’s also considered one of the best Bond movies and became the basis for the hit Nintendo 64 game from Rare in 1997, which showed first-person shooters were viable for consoles. In 2022, the game was re-released on Xbox Series X|S (via Game Pass) and Nintendo Switch (via Nintendo Classsics).

While U.S. viewers can see GoldenEye at Drafthouse, we’ve linked the specific theaters for the UK (and two more here and here), Poland, Sweden, and Mexico.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 Is Still Coming, But What’s In It?

by admin September 28, 2025

In late 2023, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 brought most of the early games in the franchise to modern consoles. Since then, fans have clamored for Konami to complete the collection of games with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. Now, the producer behind Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has confirmed that Vol. 2 is still in the works, but declined to confirm any titles included in it.

During a presentation at the Tokyo Game Show, Metal Gear Solid producer Noriaki Okamura fielded a question about the next installment of the MGS Master Collection. X user Kuwabara357 shared a fan translation (via Video Games Chronicle), which essentially said that Vol. 2 is moving forward, but the team isn’t ready to share any information about it yet.

SCOOP MGSVOL.2❗️ : On the METAL GEAR PRODUCTION HOTLINE, Noriaki Okamura briefly mentioned MGS Master Collection Vol.2. and according to him, it will take a little more time.
Here is a translation of his statement: “It has certainly taken quite a while now. Since we called the… pic.twitter.com/JUccwXkJJ2

— Outsider Snake (@Kuwabara357) September 25, 2025

The most-anticipated possibility for the collection is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which has never been released outside of the PS3. The first Master Collection excluded Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, a 2010 PlayStation Portable game that had previously been remastered in 2011 for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. One of the series’ other portable games, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, was also excluded from the Master Collection Vol. 1.

It’s possible that the Master Collection Vol. 2 could include those games and both parts of Metal Gear Solid 5, Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain. But without confirmation from Konami, we can only speculate.

In the meantime, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt multiplayer mode will launch on October 30. MGS Delta producer Yuji Korekado has previously hinted that there may be more remakes in the franchise’s future. But if there are new MGS games being made, Okamura and Korekado expressed a desire to step aside and let a new generation of developers make the title.

Tether and Circle Are ‘Printing Money’ But Competition is Coming: Wormhole Co-Founder

by admin September 28, 2025

Stablecoin giants like Tether and Circle are profiting from the current high-interest rate environment while stablecoin holders see none of the returns, said Wormhole’s co-founder, Dan Reecer, at Mercado Bitcoin’s DAC 2025 event.

Speaking as a panelist, he said the companies are effectively “printing money” by keeping the yield from the U.S. Treasuries backing their tokens. Tether, for example, reported $4.9 billion in net profit in the second quarter of the year. That has seen the company’s valuation soar to a reported $500 billion in a new funding round.

As interest rates remain elevated, Reecer suggested it’s only a matter of time before users expect a share of that yield or move their funds elsewhere.

Platforms like M^0 and Agora are already responding to that demand, he suggested. These projects allow stablecoin infrastructure to be built in a way that routes yield to applications or directly to end users, instead of the issuer capturing all of it.

“If I’m holding USDC, I’m losing money, losing money that Circle is making,” Reecer said in the session, referring to the opportunity cost of holding a non-yielding token that’s backed by U.S. Treasuries generating income.

Tether and Circle likely do not share the yield generated from their stablecoins directly with users as doing so could draw the ire of regulators. An alternative that’s steadily growing are money market funds, which allow investors to gain exposure to the yield behind these stablecoins.

Circle, it’s worth noting, acquired Hashnote earlier this year for $1.3 billion, the issuer of the tokenized money market fund USYC. With this acquisition, Circle aims to enable convertibility between cash and yield-bearing collateral on blockchains.

These money market funds, however, are still a fraction of the stablecoin market. According to RWA.xyz data, their market capitalization currently stands around $7.3 billion, while the global stablecoin market has topped $290 billion.

A Tether spokesperson told CoinDesk that “USDT’s role is clear: it is a digital dollar, not an investment product.” He added that “hundreds of millions of people” rely on USDT, especially in emerging markets, “where it serves as a lifeline against inflation, banking instability, and capital controls.”

“While few percentage points might make the difference for rich Americans or Europeans, the real savings for our USDT user base is the one against dramatic inflation so common in developing countries – often reaching numbers as high as 50% to 90% year-over-year, with declines of local currency values against the US dollar at 70% year-over-year,” he said.

“Passing along yield would fundamentally change a stablecoin’s nature, risk profile, and regulatory treatment,” the spokesperson added. “Competitors experimenting with yield-bearing stablecoins are targeting a completely different audience, and they take on additional risks.”

Fireblocks’ Stephen Richardson, during the panel, said the broader stablecoin market is meanwhile evolving toward real-world use cases, including cross-border payments and FX services.

He pointed out that tokenized money moving instantly could help solve problems that exist today, such as slow corporate payment rails or expensive remittances. Financial innovation, Richardson added, is already being seen in the sector, with an example being tokenized money market funds that are being used as collateral on exchanges.

The Social Network 2 is coming next fall and stars Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg

by admin September 27, 2025

The long-awaited sequel to The Social Network will hit theaters next fall, according to a report by Deadline. The official release date is set for October 9, 2026, which is just about 16 years after the first film dropped.

We also have plenty of other information, including the full cast and the actual name of the movie. The official name is The Social Reckoning, which makes sense as the movie follows recent events in which Facebook got into legal and political trouble when a whistleblower alleged that the company knew the platform was harming society but did nothing about it.

The cast is being led by Jeremy Strong from Succession, who takes over Zuckerberg duties from actor Jesse Eisenberg. Mikey Madison is playing the aforementioned whistle blower Frances Haugen and The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White portrays Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horowitz.

Bill Burr is also appearing in this flick, though we don’t know in what capacity. The Hollywood Reporter has suggested he will play a fictional character invented for the film that will be an amalgamation of several people. Aaron Sorkin is both writing and directing this one. He wrote the first movie, but David Fincher directed it.

Habbo Hotel’s answer to WoW Classic is coming to Steam

by admin September 26, 2025

As a former child with unrestricted access to the internet in the 2000s, Habbo Hotel did irreparable damage to my psyche, as I’m sure it did for many other late millennials. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug though, which makes the fact that Habbo Hotel: Origins is heading to Steam all the more enticing.

Origins is essentially Habbo Hotel’s answer to WoW Classic—a stripped-back version of the social MMO that’s closer to its original browser days than… whatever NFT nonsense it was touting around back when that was a thing. It’s described as “Habbo as it was in 2005, lovingly restored,” launching last summer as a standalone launcher for PC.

Our own Harvey Randall dove in to try it out when servers went live, writing that Origins felt like “some ancient insect preserved in amber.” Of course, it had taken no time at all for folks to resurrect bygone traditions like blocking the pool ladder while declaring it to be closed, a scenario old Habbo heads will be all too familiar with.

Related articles

“Habbo Hotel: Origins, truthfully, feels like stepping into a portal to a time where the internet was wild, anachronistic, and had an entirely different set of ways in which it’d scar unsupervised children for life,” Harvey summarised.

It seems as though the year since launch has been fruitful enough for the team to want to take things to Steam. “Habbo Hotel: Origins is in a solid spot feature-wise,” a blog post on the Habbo website reads. “So now comes the fun party: spreading the word and pulling back some of the Habbos who’ve drifted away (and finding legendary new ones too). One big step? Steam. It’s only the biggest PC and MacOS game store on the planet.”

The game’ll be getting its big Steam launch “later this year,” so sometime in the next three months. I can’t lie, I’m tempted. I haven’t had the opportunity to check out Origins yet, and a Steam release feels like the perfect opportunity to relive my youth a little. Even if it’ll inevitably be 20 minutes of me poking around, going “I remember that!” to myself before logging off and never playing again. For the memories.

Bitcoin price crashes under $113k amid weak on-chain metrics and rising altcoin flows
GameFi Guides

Is a $15K swing coming next?

by admin September 26, 2025

Summary

  • Bitcoin is consolidating near $109k, with volatility compressed, according to Bitcoin price prediction analysts.
  • Bollinger Bands and ATR are at lows, while the action continues rangebound between $108k and $113k.
  • Bitcoin price forecast: A breakout above $113k might target $120k-$125k due to ETF inflows and whale demand.
  • Downside expectation: if the price falls below $108k, liquidations may occur; target $103k-$100k or the mid-$90k.
  • The neutral yet coiled structure predicts a potential swing of ~$15k once volatility resumes.

Bitcoin is trading near $109k on September 26, 2025, following a brief period of volatile trading that fluctuated between short-lived gains and fast retracements.

The tight price action has resulted in compressed technical readings across intraday charts, and market participants are keeping an eye on both traditional macro triggers (Fed/PCE data and rate discussions) and crypto-specific catalysts, such as ETF flows and a significant options expiry this week.

This makes the current Bitcoin price prediction environment particularly important as traders prepare for the next large move.

Current Bitcoin price prediction scenario

BTC 1d chart, Source: crypto.news

Over the last few days, BTC has oscillated within a relatively narrow band, with intra-day prints and data feeds clustering broadly around the $108k and $113k ranges; exchanges and price aggregators show prices at around $109k at the time of writing.

The compression is seen across various timeframes: intraday Bollinger Bands have contracted, and Average True Range (ATR) readings have fallen from the August volatility highs, indicating decreased realized volatility even as macroeconomic uncertainty lingers. This range-bound market has reduced directional activity, reduced leveraged posture, and concentrated liquidity at a few key levels, which can accentuate moves when support or resistance breaks. Analysts note that the BTC price forecast remains closely tied to how long this compression can sustain before breaking.

Upside outlook for Bitcoin price

If Bitcoin (BTC) can clear and sustain above the mid-$113k level, there is a clear technical path to the $120k-$125k range, fueled by liquidity gaps and prior supply clusters.

Spot ETF inflows and renewed institutional appetite remain the primary bullish arguments: several recent near-term reports and order flow metrics indicate net inflows into ETFs and some renewed accumulation among large holders, which would add a structural bid beneath price and shorten the path to higher targets.

Momentum above broken resistance may increase short covering and stimulate new buying from systematic techniques that use breakouts as entry signals.

However, any positive continuation will have to overcome the strong options positions and profit-taking that preceded the August gain. In this scenario, the Bitcoin outlook tilts constructive, as higher projections toward $125k align with structural inflows and market positioning.

Downside risks to BTC price

A significant breach below the lower edge of the recent range, around $108k, risks cascade liquidations, with technical stops and futures funding pressure pushing prices down $103k-$100k in a quick drop.

On-chain data and derivatives indicators suggest strong open interest and a large options expiry grouped around this window, which can amplify moves while also creating asymmetrical risk: if volatility jumps to the downside, forced deleveraging could drive price through several support layers.

Furthermore, macro headlines (sovereign balance-sheet movements, unexpected economic data, or hawkish central bank comments) have the potential to abruptly shift mood, and September has traditionally been a month of extreme volatility for risk assets – a seasonal feature traders should keep in mind. The expectation among some bearish analysts is for a deeper correction into the $95k area if key supports crack.

Bitcoin price prediction based on current levels

Bitcoin support and resistance levels, Source: Tradingview

With the current band centered between $108k and $113k, the immediate path is clear: a breakout above $113k likely opens the path to $120k-$125k, whereas a breakdown below $108k increases the likelihood of a move toward $100k or slightly lower as liquidity absorbs forced selling.

Given current derivatives positioning and upcoming expiries, a move of approximately $10k-$15k from current levels is possible once volatility returns; the direction will be determined by the flow (ETF and institutional buys vs macro-driven risk-off) and whether the major options expiry resolves in a way that squeezes one side of the market.

In other words, while the market is neutral-to-slightly bullish structurally, short-term risk is elevated due to concentrated derivatives exposure and compressed volatility.

Ethereum Head & Shoulders Pattern Reveals New Target, A Crash Below $4,000 Is Coming

by admin September 25, 2025

Trusted Editorial content, reviewed by leading industry experts and seasoned editors. Ad Disclosure

Ethereum has now entered what looks to be another bearish phase after failing to reclaim a critical level. With all of the technicals pointing toward further downside, it now puts the Ethereum price at risk of crashing back below $4,000, a level which was hard-won by the bulls over the last few months. Most of this has to do with one seemingly simple formation, and that is a Head and Shoulders pattern that shows a downtrend after the pattern is complete.

What This Head And Shoulders Pattern Means For Ethereum Price

Crypto analyst Meliketrader shared a chart on the TradingView website showing the Head and Shoulders pattern that had been completed on the Ethereum 4-hour chart. The chart shows the pattern had begun to appear back in August, with the left shoulder toward the middle of the month. The head would appear close to the end of August, and the right shoulder would complete the formation in mid-September.

Interestingly, following the completion of the Head and Shoulders pattern on the 4-hour chart, the Ethereum price had experienced a large bearish candle, which ended up taking out the neckline. Once this was done, it was a confirmation that the altcoin was at risk of more downside.

The neckline, which lies between $4,200 and $4,400, holds the key here, and since the Ethereum price is, once again, retesting this level, what happens here will determine where the price goes next. In the case of a rejection from here, then the Ethereum price will suffer further crashes.

Such a crash from the neckline would send the price crashing back down below $4,000, since there isn’t much demand there. The analyst places targets around $3,850, calling out a range between $3,700-$3,900 during this time, which is all up to where the neckline is measured. “This level also lines up with the last major resistance zone, so it’s a natural magnet,” Melikatrader said.

Source: TradingView

Another development is that the RSI has shown divergence close to the head of the formation. The altcoin has also dropped into the oversold territory at this point, which is a pointer that momentum may be slowing down at this point.

Hope For The Bulls

In the event that the Ethereum price is to turn bullish from here, then there would need to be a successful breakout of the neckline at $4,320 and $4,400. If the altcoin is able to close back above this supply zone with conviction, then the analyst believes that this would invalidate the bearish Head and Shoulder thesis.

The Ethereum price would likely see a significant bounce if this happens, especially given that it is now in oversold territory. Nevertheless, the analyst advises investors to be cautious with sizing and manage risk during this time.
