Elden Ring Nightreign does actually have a Relic limit, and it won’t let you play until you clear your inventory

by admin June 23, 2025

One of the most interesting features of Elden Ring Nightreign is the ability to modify your character over the course of several runs. That’s something FromSoftware borrowed from other roguelites, and it’s represented in game through Relics.

Relics are bundles of buffs that you attach to your characters to boost their latent abilities, proficiency with certain weapons/spells and more. They offer all kinds of useful bonuses that, when picked correctly, can really complement your chosen class.

That does create a bit of a problem, however.

Because of the random nature of Relics, Nightreign players are incentivised to keep a storage of them until they need them. For instance, if you never use bows and arrows, and you find a Relic with a really strong bonus to archery, you’re more likely to save it until the moment you try Ironeye, or when you feel like doing a bow-only run.

That, of course, causes players’ storage chests to be cluttered with plenty of Relics waiting to be equipped. Some of them may even be so old that the player has likely received much better versions hours ago without realising.

Nightreign does offer an option to sell off your old Relics for in-game currency, but you get so little of it that most players don’t bother. Until now, when Reddit user Scufozzover1 discovered that the game does, indeed, have a limit to the number of Relics you can hoard.

You can’t play if you have too many relics

In fact, as you can see in their Reddit post, having a full inventory of Relics means you won’t be able to go on Expeditions. Scufozzover1 posted the error message the game throws out, which is not something many players have seen.

Of course, the game recommends using the Relic Rite feature to get rid of the ones you don’t need, which is really something you should be doing regularly as you continue playing and acquiring more powerful Relics.

The reason this took a while to be uncovered is that Nightreign doesn’t actually show an inventory limit for Relics, so players had no idea how many they can actually store. Scufozzover1 says it’s close to 1,000, which is a massive number.

If you’re not Relic hoarding, you probably know better, which means you’re going to appreciate our Elden Ring Nightreign guide. We recently updated it with Remembrance (character quests) walkthroughs for the Executor Remembrance quest, and Duchess Remembrance quest.

And, in case you missed it, FromSoftware recently introduced the first of several harder versions of the game’s Nightlords. The so called Everdark Sovereign bosses don’t just have more health and deal higher damage, they also use new moves against you.

UFC 316: Dvalishvili, Harrison wins clear the way for much-anticipated bantamweight showdowns

by admin June 11, 2025

Brett Okamoto has reported on mixed martial arts and boxing at ESPN since 2010. He has covered all of the biggest events in combat sports during that time, including in-depth interviews and features with names such as Dana White, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Georges St-Pierre. He was also a producer on the 30 for 30 film: “Chuck and Tito,” which looked back at the careers and rivalry of Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz. He lives in Las Vegas, and is an avid, below-average golfer in his spare time.

As soon as Julianna Peña tapped Kayla Harrison’s back in the penultimate fight of UFC 316 to signal she had had enough of Harrison’s Kimura lock, the Newark, New Jersey, crowd cheered its approval and all eyes turned to future UFC Hall of Fame bantamweight Amanda Nunes, who was sitting cageside with her family.

“Come on up here, Amanda!” Harrison yelled in Nunes’ direction during her postfight interview. “This is the next fight.”

She’s right, of course. If all goes to plan, Nunes will come out of retirement to be Harrison’s first title challenger in what will instantly be a fight of the year candidate — in whatever year that might be.

A similar story played out in the final fight of the night, after Merab Dvalishvili frustrated and ultimately finished fan favorite Sean O’Malley with a guillotine in the third round of their men’s bantamweight title rematch.

Cory Sandhagen, just about the only current UFC bantamweight contender Dvalishvili hasn’t beaten, smiled from the audience as the champion called for him to be his next target. Sandhagen has been in the UFC since 2018, but it appears his time has come to challenge for a title.

Let’s take a deeper look at those championship scenarios and possible next steps for many of the fighters featured at UFC 316.

Merab Dvalishvili, men’s bantamweight

Who should be next: Cory Sandhagen

The UFC doesn’t always make matchups on fight night, but it’s nice when it does — especially an obvious one like this. Sandhagen has taken a long route to his first official title fight, and he gets some blame for that. He has come up short in big moments, but if you look at his body of work — not to mention his obvious talent — it’s kind of wild that it has taken this long for him to get here. Now that he is here, though, he has a sizable champion to try to take down. Sandhagen knows what he’s up against. He said Saturday that he has to get a knockout against Dvalishvili. That’s a lot easier said than done. Sandhagen is one of the biggest knockout threats in the division, but he would need to capitalize on any small moment Dvalishvili gives him.

Wild card: Petr Yan

If he beats Marcus McGhee on July 26 in Abu Dhabi, Yan will be right there for a chance to reclaim the belt he lost in 2022. His obvious problem is that he lost a non-competitive fight to Dvalishvili in 2023, but that doesn’t mean Yan can never get a second chance at the championship. He would have to look amazing against McGhee and still need the Sandhagen matchup to fall through to get a title shot, though.

Sean O’Malley, men’s bantamweight

There is no obvious next opponent for Sean O’Malley after losing back-to-back title challenges to Merab Dvalishvili. Elsa/Getty Images

Who should be next: José Aldo

This is the tough one. There is no obvious path forward right now for O’Malley after two consecutive defeats, so a recently retired Aldo is a nonobvious answer. I respect Aldo’s choice to say he’s done, but let’s also acknowledge that a lot of us weren’t happy with the way the UFC matchmade him during his comeback. The potential of an O’Malley matchup might actually get him very excited, though. It would also get fans excited. The UFC would benefit by putting together an O’Malley fight people care about, and there’s a shortage of those. Aldo surprising everyone with another return to the Octagon would garner a ton of attention.

Wild card: Henry Cejudo

O’Malley has always wanted to fight Cejudo. They’re from the same area in Arizona. O’Malley has always found Cejudo’s way of promotion a bit … lame. O’Malley, 5-foot-11, loves fighting shorter opponents and likes to remind the 5-4 Cejudo just how much shorter he is. Cejudo has said he might be done, but you definitely get the sense he doesn’t want to finish his career on a fight-ending eye poke in a February loss to Song Yadong. If Cejudo decides to fight again, I could see both sides wanting this fight.

Kayla Harrison, women’s bantamweight

Kayla Harrison submits Julianna Pena to become new UFC bantamweight champ

Kayla Harrison taps out Julianna Pena in Round 2 at UFC 316 to become the new women’s bantamweight champion.

Who should be next: Amanda Nunes

Easiest matchmaking of all time. We’ve basically been waiting for this since Harrison entered MMA. We always knew it would take a long time to happen, and there were moments along the way when it looked like it never would. Harrison signed with the PFL as a lightweight and said she’d never cut weight to bantamweight. Nunes lost to Peña when Harrison was looking to test free agency and join the UFC. Then Nunes retired. Still, the fight always seemed very much alive, and it doesn’t seem like it’s happening too late. It’ll be the biggest fight in women’s MMA in a very long time. By the time it happens, after all of the promotion, maybe it’ll be the biggest ever.

Kevin Holland, welterweight

Kevin Holland, blue gloves, stopped Vincent Luque, red gloves, with an anaconda choke to begin the UFC 316 main card. Vincent Carchietta/Imagn Images

Who should be next: Carlos Prates

When Holland is focused (and competing at 170 pounds), he’s a title contender. He came within one scorecard of defeating the current champion, Jack Della Maddalena, in 2023. Holland has always said he doesn’t care about the belt and that he’s willing to bounce between welterweight and middleweight, but it seems that’s about to change. When he said he wants to stay at 170, it was music to my ears. He’s good at this weight class. When he fights at 185 pounds, I get the sense that sometimes even he doesn’t think he’s supposed to win. Prates looks like the real deal, despite a loss to Ian Machado Garry in his last bout. Holland vs. Prates would be absolutely fire.

Wild card: Stephen Thompson

They fought in 2022, and it was an instant classic. Thompson won, which means there’s incentive for Holland to get revenge. No one wants to see Thompson in a fight in which he’s constantly defending takedowns, and while Holland might jump on a choke here and there, he’s not going to spend an entire fight trying to take “Wonderboy” down. This fight would be good for both of their careers, not to mention the fans.

Mario Bautista, men’s bantamweight

Editor’s Picks

1 Related

Who should be next: Marlon Vera

If Bautista feels a little slighted by fans and media after his win over Patchy Mix, it’s with good reason. It was probably inevitable that the majority of the prefight focus would surround his UFC 316 opponent, considering Mix was making a long-awaited move from Bellator MMA to the UFC. But still, Bautista was on a seven-fight win streak and coming off a victory over former UFC champion Jose Aldo. After how good he looked Saturday, I don’t expect him to be underappreciated again in the next one. He was supposed to face “Chito” Vera at UFC 316, but Vera withdrew because of an injury. Vera is a popular fighter; Bautista could benefit from adding to Vera’s name to his résumé, and I think Bautista would be favored to win.

Wild card: Song Yadong

Yadong is coming off a controversial victory over Henry Cejudo in which Cejudo was badly impacted by an accidental eye poke. Yadong is for real, though. And at this point, it’s hard to say Bautista isn’t as well. The UFC might choose to hang on to this fight, because it’s a good one that seems inevitable at some point. But if they chose to do it now, it would be a highly entertaining one.

Azamat Murzakanov, light heavyweight

Azamat Murzakanov, red gloves, is 5-0 in the UFC after finishing Brendson Riberio. Elsa/Getty Images

Who should be next: Aleksandar Rakic

In terms of matchups, Murzakanov has been the victim of bad timing and bad luck. He’s 5-0 in the UFC, but he hasn’t faced the highest-ranked competition. At various times, he was booked to fight Volkan Oezdemir, Khalil Rountree Jr., Nikita Krylov and Johnny Walker, and every single one of those fights fell through. It’s time to get him a big jump in competition. He needs it, and this division needs it. Rakic has lost three in a row, but every loss has been to the very top of the division. He’s at a point where he needs to defend his spot, and that should be against Murzakanov.

Wild card: Jan Blachowicz

I love Blachowicz, as does the rest of the MMA world. His rise to UFC champion was unexpected at his age. That said, the 42-year-old is kind of sitting on a ranking at this point. He’s officially ranked No. 5 at light heavyweight by the UFC but hasn’t won a fight since 2022. His last win was against Rakic, who, as we just mentioned, has lost three in a row. If Blachowicz wants to maintain his spot in the rankings, this is the kind of fight he needs to accept.

New Wonder Woman movie is on the way, James Gunn confirms, and DC fans say there’s a clear frontrunner for the role

by admin June 11, 2025

  • James Gunn has confirmed that a new Wonder Woman movie is in the works
  • The DCU Chapter One film is “being written right now”, Gunn says
  • DC fans have drawn up a wish-list of actors they want to play Diana Prince

Diana Prince is coming to the DC Universe (DCU) earlier than anyone expected after James Gunn confirmed that a new Wonder Woman movie is in development.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly (EW), the co-chief of DC Studios surprisingly revealed that a Wonder Woman film is not only “being written right now”, but also being worked on separately to Paradise Lost.

The latter is a Max TV show that would be a Game of Thrones-inspired project based on Themyscira, aka the idyllic, all-female island nation Diana Prince hails from. Paradise Lost was announced as part of the DCU Chapter One lineup in January 2023, but, as Gunn also told EW, progress is moving slowly on this series’ development.

A Wonder Woman movie announcement isn’t a shock in itself – after all, the Amazonian is a member of DC Comics’ iconic Trinity of superheroes. If you weren’t aware, the others are Superman and Batman.

Still, considering that Paradise Lost was meant to act as a precursor to Wonder Woman’s eventual arrival in the DCU, I don’t think anyone predicted that Gunn would confirm a Diana Prince-led project is already being worked on. I say that after Gunn sparked excitement over Wonder Woman’s DCU debut less than a month ago (at the time of publication, anyway), too.

Which actor do fans want to play Wonder Woman in the DCU?

Gal Gadot is the latest actor to portray Diana Prince on the big screen (Image credit: Warner Bros)

It’ll be a few years before Wonder Woman returns on the big screen. We don’t actually know how much work has been completed on its screenplay, nor do we have any idea about which actor will follow in the footsteps of Gal Gadot and Lynda Carter, who’ve previously played Diana Prince in a live-action capacity.

For his part, Gunn told EW he and fellow DC Studios co-chief Peter Safran haven’t opened the casting call yet. That hasn’t stopped DC devotees from drawing up a shortlist of actors they’d like to see tackle the role. Indeed, threads on the DC Cinematic and DCU Leaks Reddit pages, as well as one on ResetEra, are full of suggestions from comic-book fans and casual observers alike.

Lots of great options are being proposed, too. Monica Barbaro (A Complete Unknown, Fubar), May Calamawy (Moon Knight), Charlee Fraser (Anyone But You, Furiosa), Melissanthi Mahut (The Sandman), and Elizabeth Dulau (Andor) have all been fan-cast since the news broke.

Comment from r/DCULeaks

However, it’s another Star Wars alumnus – one who joined Dulau on Andor‘s cast roster – who’s the clear favorite among many DC fans: Adria Arjona.

I could see that happening. I think any of the aforementioned actors would be a good fit to play Diana Prince, but Arjona would certainly be my top pick to assume the role of one of DC Comics’ most popular heroes.

She’s shown she has the capabilities to play such a multidimensional character in numerous projects, including Andor, Hit Man, Blink Twice, and Good Omens. Make it so, Messrs Gunn and Safran, and I’m sure you’ll make plenty of people happy.

India Can Lead the Web3 Wave With Clear Rules: Sumit Gupta

by admin June 2, 2025

Sumit Gupta, the founder of CoinDCX, a cryptocurrency trading platform, has shared his thoughts about how India has a fantastic chance to become a leader in Web3, which is the next big step for the internet, focusing on technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

In his recent post on X, the CoinDCX founder stated that India can lead in Web3. Some X users concur with him, stating that India could lose its opportunity to lead in Web3 if the government doesn’t move swiftly, and they don’t want India to lag behind.

India has the users, the talent, and the opportunity. What’s missing is regulatory clarity. If that is addressed, we can lead the global Web3 wave!

Recently spoke to @FortuneIndia to share thoughts on how India risks losing the next internet revolution to global rivals, unless…

— Sumit Gupta (CoinDCX) (@smtgpt) June 2, 2025

Gupta said India has everything it needs to make the country successful in Web3. He stated that India has many people interested in these technologies, with skilled workers and many possibilities for growth. He has also emphasized the problem the country faces.

According to Gupta, India does not have clear rules for Web3 and cryptocurrencies yet. He warns that without these rules, other countries might take the lead, and India could miss out on this important opportunity.

He also mentioned that he gave an interview to Fortune India, where he explained these ideas in more detail. Gupta is pushing for the government to create clear regulations quickly so India can stay ahead in this new internet revolution and not fall behind other countries.

Although many were frustrated, pointing out problems like the high tax on crypto trades, which makes trading expensive, and the lack of enough buyers and sellers in the Crypto-INR market, making it hard to trade easily. The users feel that these issues are already holding India back compared to other countries.

Gupta’s message highlights CoinDCX’s big goal. He wants to make cryptocurrencies as normal and popular as stocks in India. His words also highlight that India is at a decisive moment. He believes the country needs clear and fair rules for crypto to grow while also keeping in mind that it should be safe while encouraging new ideas and making sure talented people stay in India to work on Web3.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord’s big naval expansion is delayed: ‘After taking a hard look at where things stand, it became clear we won’t be ready’

by admin May 29, 2025

War Sails, the Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord expansion announced in March, has been delayed. Instead of launching on June 17 as planned, developer TaleWorlds Entertainment says it’s now on track for release in early fall.

“After taking a hard look at where things stand, it became clear we won’t be ready by the originally planned release date of June 17th,” the studio wrote in an update. “The title is currently on track for an early Fall 2025 release window.

“We came to this decision after a lot of thought (and a few long meetings), because we need more time to reach the level of quality you rightfully expect. The extra development period will give us more time to apply additional polish, and continue making progress on the improvements to the base game that are already in motion. We believe this short delay will ultimately lead to a better and more enjoyable experience for all players.”

You may like

Nobody likes delays but War Sails looks very ambitious, and given all it brings to the game I can’t say I’m terribly surprised that TaleWorlds wants more time with it, rather than rushing to meet an arbitrary deadline. Here’s the rundown on what was revealed when the expansion was announced in March:

  • The new Nords faction, and their home, the Northern Kingdom
  • Naval warfare, complete with wind and water physics, boarding, ramming and all sorts of ship-themed mayhem
  • 18 ships with distinct handling, which can be upgraded with new sails, rams, siege engines and cosmetic flourishes
  • Traversable rivers
  • New companions, banners, tattoos, hairstyles, weapons and skills
  • A larger map with the northern sea, islands and rivers

Watch On

That’s all coming alongside a planned free update adding new features including stealth and disguises, new random events, weapon types, a parley mechanic, and more. It’s a lot.

TaleWorlds said it’s now working on a “revised timeline” for the expansion, and hopes to have a new release date ready to announce “in the upcoming weeks.”

It's pretty clear Monster Hunter Wilds' first Capcom collab will be with Street Fighter

It’s pretty clear Monster Hunter Wilds’ first Capcom collab will be with Street Fighter

by admin May 20, 2025

Capcom dropped a nice and easy-to-parse teaser earlier today for the first collaboration event in Monster Hunter Wilds. We’ve known for a while that the company is working on one such event, and we’ve also known it’s going to be with another Capcom brand.

Naturally, people have been guessing, but today’s teaser makes it pretty clear which other Capcom series the first collaboration will be with.

Over on Twitter, the official Monster Hunter account shared a single image of a claw mark that has a very distinct Street Fighter art style, which inarguably means the first cross-over event will be with the iconic fighting game series.

The tweet doesn’t contain any other information besides, but it’s pretty clear we’re getting closer to a proper announcement. Street Fighter has, of course, crossed over with Monster Hunter games in the past. Monster Hunter World had its fair share of Capcom collaborations, including with Street Fighter.

Pretty clear. | Image credit: Capcom

This would be Wilds’ first, and judging by how Capcom has been known to run these in the past, the new content will very likely be available as part of a limited-time Event Quest. Though we can only guess, it’ll also likely include various pieces of armour that make your Hunter look like a Street Fighter character – such as Ryu.

Usually, Capcom also likes to release other cosmetics for purchase around the same time, too, for those who want some extra bling. Typically, Event Quests are little more grindy than normal quests, especially if you want to get the entire set.

However, considering how much more player-friendly Wilds has been compared to past games, the game’s iteration of this collaboration might end up being more accessible. We’ll also have to wait and see whether this event will only include costumes, or if there’s going to be a little more to it.
